We had a cat right before my son was born that was probably, I mean, it was the only pet I've ever had, but my wife has always had cats. She said it was the best cat. Never did anything hiss or anything that would lay with my wife and relax, was chill, was cool, was clean, didn't do anything. Something happened to him. We came home one day, he was just kind of moping around.

We got him as a stray, so we took him to the vet and said, oh yeah, we're going to have to put him down. There's something wrong with him. We're like, what the hell? He's been fine until today. So it was terrible. We only had him for a year or two maybe, so I wasn't super attached to him. But it was tough. And now we have a cat that was also a stray that is still the sweetest cat. My son loves her. She's super nice. But she chews on everything. She chews on boxes. So I'm worried. I still have her over here at the in-laws' house. They're boarding her now and feeding her.
