This is the final week of ah regular season of college football, and yeah, it's week 13 of the NFL. I mean, we got we got six weeks left. Like, it's just...

Nebraska's Challenges

All right, let's start with ah my Nebraska Cornhuskers. just Just a bad game. I mean, there's just there's no way to slice it. This was ugly from the start.

um Had two weeks to prepare for this game. Went to Happy Valley and got their butts kicked. I mean, there's just there there's no there's nothing good I can say about this game. The only good part was what it ended for me. Yeah.

hey yeah I mean, I don't know but much else I can say about Nebraska and just not playing well in nationally televised games at night. and i mean, Happy Valley is a tough place to play. i I told all my friends when they announced it was a night game that Nebraska was probably cooked. I didn't and didn' think they were to be like that. I mean, they just got straight manhandled.

um So, yeah, just it was just a disheartening loss, honestly. It just... It didn't feel good. It just it kind of sucked. and i mean, it didn't kind of suck. It really sucked. It's just, yeah, it was not good. and They got Iowa this week on a short week. I actually am going to this game.

I mean, that's that's really all there is to it. they They steamrolled them from the start of that game. So, yeah, they they looked really good on Saturday. ah Oklahoma beats Missouri. This was just kind of a defensive struggle. I didn't really like what Oklahoma did offensively at all in this game. But, again, they were one of the few teams that actually played – of the few SEC teams that actually played a tough opponent. So, I mean – They won. I mean, that's that's all that really matters. Oklahoma just keeps winning, and yeah, we'll see where they go from here.
Iowa's Comeback and Notre Dame's Defense

um I just mentioned Nebraska plays Iowa this week. Iowa had a comeback win against Michigan State. Michigan State had them dead to rights for all intensive purposes, and Iowa just kept fighting and did what Iowa does, played some good defense, made a special teams play, and yeah, they kicked a game-winning field goal. So we'll see what happens this week.

um Notre Dame just continues to impress. They had 21 points before their offense even hit the field. They scored on two pick sixes and then a punt return in the first six minutes of this game. like It was sight to behold. They ended up dropping 70 on Syracuse, which, man, Syracuse, they're going to have some soul searching to do this this offseason. and I'm guessing they'll probably be looking for a new coach. so yeah not not looking good for the orange uh oregon beats usc this was a pretty good game kind of what i expected i just i feel like oregon's just it was just a better team and just looked more ready for the moment um

Another surprising game, Wisconsin beats Illinois. Wisconsin just looked like a team that was dead in the water. I mean, not saying they're any good still, but it's a good win for them. Illinois has had some good wins this season. So, ah yeah, good win for Wisconsin not giving up on the season and playing it out. So good for them.

Saints did not score an offensive touchdown in this game. Their only touchdown was a pick six. That was not even Kirk Cousins' fault. Didn't think I'd be starting with this. um Yeah, it impressed the hell out of me yesterday. not It's not saying the Saints are some world beater, but anytime the Falcons beat the Saints, it's a good day. This is this not a good season, but they played well yesterday.

Now I know that's not going to happen and not even going to attempt to get myself excited of the chances of that happening. Cause it's not going to happen. Like they played the jets this weekend. I could easily see them losing that game. So Don't think that I've turned a corner on the Falcons at all, but I felt like they did do some good things yesterday. Bijan ran the ball well. A lot of guys stepped up. They didn't have Drake London. Mooney played well. Um... Still can't get a consistent game out of Kyle Pitts, but defense played really, really well yesterday. I i was very impressed with the defense.

The young guys just keep stepping up. Jalen Walker and James Pierce Jr. both have a couple sacks in the game. um Defense played well, man. They just they kept everything in front of them, and bend-don't-break defense works. like The Saints did miss two field goals in this game, so don't want to just cloud it over like they weren't going give up points, but in the end, the defense gave up three points. so it's Again, points say what they are. so a Again, did enough w enough to win.

i do think this Seahawks team is really good, though. I really do. is They just... There's a couple really, really good teams in the NFC, and I do think the Seahawks are one of them. Darnold, when he plays well and mistake-free football, this team just kind does what they do. They just do enough on offense to win. Jackson Smith and Jigwood just keeps going off. Already set the franchise record for receiving yards. There's six games left in the season.

ah Texans down the Bills on Thursday night. Josh Allen was sacked eight times in this game. um I remember... So obviously not this year, previous year after the draft when the Texans got C.J. Stroud and Will Anderson and just how high i was on Will Anderson and all the things that he does, and just how high i was on the Texans making that move. Dude, Will Anderson is just unreal. Him and Daniil Hunter off the edge are just absolute havoc every play.

Texans are not some world beater offense, but tell you what, Davis Mills has really studied the offense and They're doing enough to win with the way the defense is playing. They have the number one scoring defense in the NFL, either them or the Rams. i I didn't check this morning, but it's one of those two. Those two defenses are unreal. so ah yeah Texans just keep winning. i mean This team started the year really slow, and I think they're 6-5 now. so

um chiefs beat the colts in overtime the chiefs if you just look at the stats this game looks like it should have been a blowout in favor of the chiefs i mean the yardage numbers are yeah chiefs had 494 yards compared to 255 for the colts like colts couldn't run the ball chiefs had 91 plays compared to the colts 50 it's just Incredible. The Chiefs did turn the ball over twice, which made this game closer than I think it should have been in the end. But Chiefs win 6-5.
