Lord Hinkie : Next up on the list here, we have the Jets at the Titans. Ninja has this as Ninja's worst game of the week. Man, I completely agree. Most games this week have some appeal to most fantasy and NFL influences, but this one has none.
Lord Hinkie : I want absolutely no action in this game. Hopefully, the new regime in Tennessee can develop Cam Ward into something, but I need to see it first. To be honest, I completely agree.
Lord Hinkie : I think this game is going to suck. I think it's going to be booty. I'm going to, you know, peek in just to see what's going on there, but I'm not excited for it fantasy-wise at all. Jet side of things, just no.
Lord Hinkie : Ninja says Garrett Wilson if you're desperate, maybe Breece if you're desperate, and wait and see on Sadiq. Reports are that he will be worked in slowly, and, you know, that's not great for fantasy, especially with rookie tight ends. Yeah.
Lord Hinkie : Yeah, I think I agree. I don't love Garrett Wilson. If I have to start on my will, I don't love Brees Hall either, especially with the injury. I'm feeding everybody.
Lord Hinkie : Titan side of things, Ninja says no. Cam Ward may be in super flex, and he says wait and see on Carnell Tate. Again, I agree. If I'm playing anybody in this matchup at all, both sides,
Lord Hinkie : probably carnell tate that's probably it i don't want anybody else in this game i'm this game is going to end 10 7 maybe maybe 9 6 5 field goals it's be gross this would be awesome if it was like 35 to 31 game but i doubt it next on the list cardinals at chargers New leadership in Arizona. It's just the start of a massive rebuild.
Lord Hinkie : Can Mike LaFleur revive Maserati Marv? Is Mike McDaniels to spark Herbert needed to be the top five quarterback we all want him to be? This game has a chance to be a shootout. And don't forget, Brissette was good in his time starting last year.
Lord Hinkie : I'll take the over here per Ninja. I love it. Completely agree. For the card side, Trey McBride Stud. Brissette is good in a super flex league. And he would wait and see on Jeremiah love. I would as well.
Lord Hinkie : He has a note in here. Ninja says, don't start rookies week one unless you have to. I agree with that as well. I like waiting and seeing on most guys. If you have the luxury of being able to play another guy who is good at a position you have a rookie in, do that.
Lord Hinkie : But for the Cardinals side of things, Trey McBride's a stud. I'm okay playing Brissette in Superflex League as well, and I'm probably okay playing Michael Wilson too. Brissette and Michael Wilson had some kind of connection last year. Wilson just got a big extension.
Lord Hinkie : i'm okay I'm okay playing Michael Wilson this matchup. i I agree, though, I would sit Jeremiah Love if I could. for the charger side, Justin Herbert, lad McConkie and Hampton completely agree.
Lord Hinkie : Gadsden is okay. And I'm kind of waiting and seeing on that in joke, you and whether or not in joke, he's going to play football for them this year and how much work he gets.
Lord Hinkie : Keep an eye on Keaton Mitchell, per Ninja. Reports are he's a perfect third down back in McDaniel's system. Yeah, to be determined. We'll see. I think Marion Hampton's going to be a stud, but behind that, i don't really want anybody. So, I agree there. No qualms. Dolphins at Raiders.
Lord Hinkie : Ninja expects his Dolphins to finish with the worst record in the NFL. I agree. This is one week they have a chance at winning. I'm very excited to see how Kubiak deploys Brock Bowers.
Lord Hinkie : Can Kirk hold down the fort before it he does bad in this game? i think Mendoza gets the keys to the mansion next week. It's just a matter of time, per Ninja. I agree with most of that. I don't think Mendoza gets the keys after one week. I think Mendoza probably starts after week like five or six. I don't know when their bye week is, but...
Lord Hinkie : I think it will be sooner rather than later, but not that soon. a Dolphin side. HM because you have to, and that's it. i agree. I think mid-league Willis is a decent start in Superlix leagues. Pretty good matchup against the Raiders. I don't think their defense is anything special besides Max Crosby, who I haven't heard any news on yet. Yeah.
Lord Hinkie : And we're going to just wait and see on that wide receiver room for Miami. I don't know if it's going to be much. I don't know how many rookies are going to play. i don't know who's going to do what or where and when or why. I love Chris Bell. I always will. Hopefully he's healthy enough to play in this game, but to be determined. So Miami, play in A-Chan because you have to. And Malik Willis in Superflex League, you can do worse than Malik Willis.
Lord Hinkie : Braider side. Brock Bowers is a stud.
Lord Hinkie : pause for dramatic effect.
Lord Hinkie : Ashton Gentry is a good play as well. ah Ninja says possibly a monster week from him actually in Ashton Gentry. I don't know if I see that. We'll see. Kirk should be a good play. Wait on the wide receivers.
Lord Hinkie : Ninja likes Naylor the best if you need a dart throw. Sure. for me, this Raiders side, I'm playing Brock Bowers cause he's awesome. I'm playing gente if he's healthy and he's a go, even if they say he's going to get, you know, maybe a handful less carries. I'm still playing gente. than that, I'm out. I don't want anything else to do with it.
Lord Hinkie : Packers at Vikings. Ninja, can Jordan Love take the next step? Can the Packers be respectable until Micah gets back? Micah Parsons. Can Kevin O'Connell revive yet another dookie quarterback in Kyler Murray?
Lord Hinkie : I think he's got the magic to do it. Can Brian Flores lead a defense to be good after losing its captain? We shall see.
Lord Hinkie : Packers side, I start love because you have to. Deshaun Watson, hell no. Christian Watson, though. We're playing Christian Watson.
Lord Hinkie : Ninja says Watson, Reed, and Golden are all okay, and in flex spots, for me, I like Watson the most, and Ninja agrees. ah I got to hold it on one second. Let me just soak this in.
Lord Hinkie : Damian the Ninja Moore agreeing with me and Dakota on a football player. Did anybody think they would see the day where Damian changes his ways and agrees with me and DeZig?
Lord Hinkie : I can't believe this. Christian Watson, he says, is his is his favorite wide receiver there in Green Bay. Now, small victories, but I'll take it. Ninja says don't play Lloyd or Johnson unless you are really desperate.
Lord Hinkie : For me, I'm okay playing Lloyd. i think he is going to be the starter there. I'm definitely not pay playing Caleb Johnson.
Lord Hinkie : Why receiver side in green Bay? I'm playing Watson and I'm out. The rest of them going to wait and see on. And I think Jordan love is very good. And I think he's underrated. I'm probably playing him pretty much every week in a super flex league. And even in one QB leagues, I'm looking at him in decent matchups. This one though, probably not.
Lord Hinkie : Viking side of things, Justin Jefferson's a stud. You're going to play him. Jordan Addison's a pretty decent flex option, but not great. You can always do better. And Kyler Murray is good in Superflex League, but and avoid the running back room if you can.
Lord Hinkie : I agree with that. I would definitely avoid the running back room. I think Addison's okay. And Kyler Murray in Superflex Leagues, I'm fine starting. If you have a two better QBs, obviously play them. But if you're between Kyler Murray and Kirk Cousins this week, I'm playing Kyler Murray.
Lord Hinkie : Commanders at Eagles. Ninja says the commanders stink. I agree. Their O-line is bad. I agree. Their defense is bad. I agree. The weapons aren't great.
Lord Hinkie : I agree. He says it's the last year for Dan Quinn. i I said this earlier. I think Dan Quinn is on the hot seat, and I think he's probably going to be the first head coach fired in 2026.
Lord Hinkie : Zekron returns to form. Jalen silences the haters. The defense is still great. Birds outright. Yeah, obviously i think we're playing at home and I think we're we're favored by like a touchdown, but it is what it is. Although the birds are under underperformed against the commanders in the past, might be closer than anticipated.
Lord Hinkie : We shall see. I think the birds get off to a hot start this year for the commanders. It's Jane and Daniels. Cause you have to, and McLaurin because you have to, that's a outside of that hard pass.
Lord Hinkie : I agree. I'm not playing anybody else in the commander side of things. And scary. Terry has been notorious for playing pretty good against the birds. So I'm okay. Starting him as well. I don't know if I'd expect anything like super great from him, but we shall see.
Lord Hinkie : Not playing any of those running backs, though. For the Bird side, you're playing Jalen Hurts. You're playing Taequann Barkley. You're playing Devontae Smith. I think Goddard's a pretty good start. I think he can do a lot worse than Dallas Goddard this year. And then wait and see on any other wide receiver.
Lord Hinkie : Makai Lemon is intriguing, but you can't start rookies week one, especially one that's been hurt for most of the preseason and is kind of getting off their slow start. I would wait and see in Makai Lemon. But...
Lord Hinkie : Don't wait and see too long because that guy can play. He's going to returning punch for the birds as well, which I like. Get that football in that guy's hands as much as you can. But start your studs. Jalen, Barkley, Smitty. Smitty's going to have one heck of a year. I think Barkley's going to bounce back, and Jalen's going to be fine too.
Lord Hinkie : Sunday night football. Cowboys at the Giants. Ninja says the Cowboys are po poised to have a great offense again. And their defense looking better with downs at safety.
Lord Hinkie : Yeah, I agree. Giants get a fresh start with John Harbaugh. Can the offense stay healthy? Who knows? On the Cowboys side, you start everybody. And I agree. You play Dak Prescott. You're playing CeeDee Lamb. You're playing George Pickens. You're playing Javante Williams. You're playing Jake Ferguson.
Lord Hinkie : You're playing them all, especially against the Giants. On the Giant side of things, he said you start dark because you probably have to. I disagree. I don't think you have to, but fantasy-wise, you probably should.
Lord Hinkie : Neighbors is a good start. I agree, especially if he's healthy. And Ninja is weary of starting Scadaboo, but he's likely an okay start.
Lord Hinkie : I think Cam Scadaboo is a good start. I think you can play him and do a lot worse than Cam Scadaboo this week. And he asked the question, do we see Theo Johnson? I think we do. I love me some Theo. Monday Night Football, Broncos at the Chiefs.
Lord Hinkie : The Broncos addressed their one flaw last year by adding Waddle. I'm a bit worried about the losses on defense. Could be more... e
Lord Hinkie : Could get more exposed than you think. Ninja says that they won 11 one-score games last year, which is kind of nuts. That's unlikely to happen again. Injuries derailed the Chiefs last year, but the roster is rapidly aging with few young guys stepping up in their place. Kenneth Walker is a massive upgrade, but I still question wide receiver core. I got no qualms with anything Ninja says there.
Lord Hinkie : So moving on Broncos. Broncos. Ninja starts Knicks, Sutton, and Waddle. And he thinks Harvey is a decent start as well. I agree. I like RJ Harvey the most out of that Broncos backfield.
Lord Hinkie : I'm definitely starting Knicks. I'm definitely starting Sutton. I'm definitely starting Waddle. I think they all get off the hot starts. And, yeah, kind of wait and see you for the rest. Chiefs, starting Mahomes. Yes.
Lord Hinkie : Starting Kenneth Walker. Yes. Starting Rasheed Rice. Yes. Travis Kelsey. Eh. If you have to, I don't think you have to start Travis Kelsey anymore. I think he's gotten to the point to where you can kind of pick and choose whether or not you want to play him.
Lord Hinkie : I don't think this is a bad matchup, but don't think it's a good matchup either. yeah Yeah, you can start Travis Kelsey if you want to. But Ninja says he doesn't like any of them, but you probably have to.
Lord Hinkie : Yeah, I'm fine. Kenneth Walker, I think, will have a very good game. And Rasheed Rice, he's the number one i receiver for the Chiefs, so I like him. I liked him lot coming out. I think he's very good.
Lord Hinkie : So, yeah, that finishes our breakdown for week one of the NFL season. And to be honest, I'm kind of sad that I'm by myself here just kind of talking to a microphone, giving you guys all these breakdowns because it would have been way better if at least Ninja was here to you know give him your own thoughts, even though I was able to read his words on a piece of paper. But, you know, he just brings so much electricity to this podcast that I'm kind of missing out on right now.
Lord Hinkie : But speaking of electricity. Ladies and gentlemen, it is week one, the first, ZNG Dynasty Parlay Bet of the Week.
Lord Hinkie : Yes, and for those of you who are new to the podcast, each week, me, Ninja, and Zig put together three, or I guess you'd say one each, touchdown scores.

Lord Hinkie : I think last year we actually did hit our week one bet, if I remember correctly. And for the season, I believe we were positive on the season just throughout like units wise or whatever.
Lord Hinkie : But for week one. I guess I'll give everybody else their picks here now. For week one, Zig.
Lord Hinkie : Yes, Zig is still part of this podcast, ladies and gentlemen. I hope all of you guys are watching the reels that Dakota and the lovely Remington are putting out. They're probably my favorite thing on my Facebook feed right now.
Lord Hinkie : they're really, really getting me through some hard days at work. And I just, I love to see that kid's cute little face. So if you don't watch those already, please start watching them.

Lord Hinkie : Zig's pick that he's made by himself is I went Ross St. Brown to score in the Lions game against the Saints. And I think it's a great pick. Can't go wrong picking Sun God to score touchdown, especially good in a good matchup against the Saints week one. Ninja picks Devante Smith to score first week birds versus commanders. I love it. I think it's really fun.
Lord Hinkie : Obviously, this is going to be Devontae Smith's first year since his a rookie year where he will be the wide receiver one on the team. And I'm excited for him. I think he's going to do great. And Mozzie start the season with a tutty.
Lord Hinkie : I myself, and I'm shocked I'm the one that picked it, I'm taking Nico Collins. against the Buffalo Bills. I think it's a great matchup. Buffalo Bills secondary stinks. C.J. Stroud bounces back. Houston's playing at home. Nico Collins is the guy there.
Lord Hinkie : Give me Nico to score week one. I know touchdowns haven't been his biggest thing. He's only scored a handful each season, but give me a week one tutty for Nico Collins. And let me get let me get eight, nine, or ten of these boys from you all year. So, yes, so if you parlay all three of those picks together, Amon Ra, St. Brown, Devontae Smith, and Nico Collins, those odds on FanDuel, by the way.

Lord Hinkie : all females, all just getting together and doing a phased football draft, which I think is beautiful. You know, that's why you spread the game, spread positivity, spread the football game, get everybody into it a little bit.
Lord Hinkie : Worst comes to worst. You stink. And you get to just laugh better with your friends. And if you end up winning the league, guess what? You get to talk a lot of crap at brunch next week because, you know, you beat up on, on the rest of your girls.
