A couple of notes. Yeah, Viridian Station sits just on the edge of a nebula. There are a few rogue planets in this nebula, and the station inhabitants will farm materials from these things. They'll go into the nebula, pull things, and bring them back out. It's an independently owned station, and it stays that way mainly due to the effects of the nebula. Most companies don't really want to own this.

Yeah, the nebula seems to have an effect on the nervous system of living things. So it takes about a day to a week before outsiders fully adjust. Oh, boy. So you're gonna feel a little weird when you first go in.

the nebula. The people haven't really figured out why it happens. The closest connection that people have talked about is it's a little bit more like a neural patterns in a brain. Though it seems pretty unlikely on the outer edges of the nebula, it definitely happens more often as you get closer into the different layers of the nebula.
