Dr. Akanni Salako, a licensed physical therapist and online fitness and nutrition coach as well as the  Founder and Head Wellness Coach of The Wellness Lab, joins the Go Hard Chick podcast to share his perspective on helping women improve their health and wellness. Inspired by seeing women in his family struggle with their health, Dr. Akanni offers a unique viewpoint on the topic.

Growing up, he witnessed the health struggles of the women in his family, which instilled in him the drive to help women improve their health and live higher-quality lives. He believes that “without strong women—mentally, physically, and emotionally—living long, impactful, and passionate lives, we are nothing.”

In this episode, Dr. Akanni emphasizes the importance of setting aside time for self-care, including exercise, proper nutrition, and rest. His mission is to show women that they can achieve everything they’ve ever wanted without having to sacrifice the things they love.
