The only thing I have to ask is... why is why is our Why is our brother covering his whole face? with the mic so I can't see. i wanted to like see his expressions of his face when he was talking and you know That is his... um That's his gimmick? Okay, that's the gimmick. That's the gimmick. We lo love it. We pop it.

Speaker: I'll pop for it. I'll bow for it. It's cool. I was wondering. I was i would like, some someone mentioned. to him that the uh the mesh is in front of his head no it was good it was good though um and then we got up our last brother you've seen him plenty of times you saw him yesterday on the baseball show fresh out of the dallas cowboys stadium from the game this weekend.

Speaker: AP! What's good, brother? I mean, hell, first NFL game, first. full trip to dallas by myself i don't know how i got out of that city alive um no Yeah. it's It took me half the time getting home.

Speaker: It took me half the time just to get out of Dallas. So it was crazy. um But yeah, fun experience. I would definitely do it again. One of the best experiences at a sporting event I ever had. And it was a fun time all around. So definitely enjoyed it.

Speaker: um love and I can't wait to do another NFL game because that that would that just... you you never You know when you get the... what they say in wrestling when you get that itch when you get that bug to To do it again. i kind of I want to do it again. I want to go ahead with the game because I got that itch now.

Speaker: Yeah, hey, let me let me let me ask you a question real quick though Did you catch yourself watching the field or the monitor more of the game? Especially out there in Dallas, that's huge. You watch the monitor more? why Not going to lie. But I will say this, you get either way you look at it, it's still a great experience because you you know it's kind of like...

Speaker: it's um It's kind of like watching it on TV when you're looking at at the monitor, but they also do like all the camera stuff as well. So you get to get it. a feel of that. but it was like also watching it on the field from where we were at because we were on ground level so it was it was a pretty cool experience either way and that's the that's the thing i agree with ap because when i went me and my dad sat in the end zone and yeah you just find yourself

Speaker: Looking up at the at the giant ass. That's the whole reason it's there. It's the whole reason it's there. not but yeah Literally right there. All right, cool. But hey. You can catch AP since he didn't say it at the Rec Room Sports. They have a baseball show tomorrow. Make sure you check it out at 8 Eastern time, I believe it is. I will say we will not be going live tomorrow. Jonathan did have a game. did have a game that he had to he has to go coach tomorrow. but

Speaker: um we will be ready to go next week as we Get ready for the postseason previews. There you go. Hey, go watch AP and me and Amul yesterday talking baseball. You get all your baseball talk. We got to move this thing on. You know how it goes. Any given sacrifice, I know it's new, so let me give you a little explanation. We're going to have three debate topics. We are going to have a debate and in each debate.

Speaker: We are going to choose a winner. To make it fair, everyone has to choose someone else. As. the winner so we come out with a fair winner we'll do that three debate topics and then we'll have eight Game picks for the weekend. We'll do all the primetime games. Our lock and our upset. And then finally we'll end up. with that trivia so stay tuned which what is going to be An amazing episode. Let's kick.

Speaker: this bad boy off, shall we? Oh, who we got on here? Oh, Papa Rube. The man by the way that I will be going with to Brazil tomorrow. to go watch the Cowboys Ravens in Rio.

Speaker: Wow.

Speaker: Wow. Have fun out there, bro. Don't worry. um Hey, look, I'm not going to do that. Do not wear green. Do not wear green in Rio. Don't do it. Don't do it.

Speaker: Hey, how long are you going to be there? Why? Wait, why do you not wear green? It's literally a thing in Rio. They do not let anybody wear green in Rio. Thank you for telling me that. Yeah, it's one of the main colors of of one of the gangs there.

Speaker: Oh, shit. Thank you for telling me that. Yeah. yeah I was trying to take my green jacket, too, for the rain. No. Yeah. Woo! Do not wear green unless you want to get shot. We almost avoided an international incident. Yes, sir.

Speaker: How long are you going to be there, though? Yeah, we leave tomorrow at 3 .30. It's going to take us all night. It's 13 hours of traveling. We get there at 6 in the morning. to Rio. Our boys will already be at the Airbnb or my dad's boys will be at the Airbnb.

Speaker: We're going to hook up with them, and then we stay Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Sunday's the game. We stay Monday, and we fly back. uh early tuesday morning to if you if you get the chance to if you get the chance i would go go to ah And I'll text you, go to a small city called Bugio's.

Speaker: How far is that from Rio? I want to say it's maybe about an hour, hour and a half away. Okay, we probably ain't going to be there. Oh, man, but you could take one of them buses. It costs like $10, man. but it's like Okay, send me the info. Send me the info. I'll send it to you, man. I'll send it to yeah you, yeah. You've been there before. You've been to Brazil. Yeah, I went to Brazil back in 14 when ah the World Cup was there.

Speaker: We got to Brazil for the World Cup. Yeah, I was there for about 10 days, man. It was nice. Oh that's dope. All right, cool. Well, look, I'm looking forward to it. And again, I'm not a... Cowboys and Ravens fan, I'm going for the... Latina mommies. Hey, be careful, to Omar, because of eight. can get you an eight.

Speaker: Ooh. Be careful, man. You fuck around. She might be she might be an ape. Get her into the room or she'll give your ass to me. You'd be hurting, buddy. We got to watch out for that. You got to watch out for that. Let's get it started. College football. NFL this weekend was wild. Yes, the NFL did not have the offensive explosion. That it had.

Speaker: the previous week, but we still had. some games that were interesting. Quarterbacks. Injured college games. That went off. So.

Speaker: We ask our panel. What was your... Cut! college football or NFL game of The weekend since... We want to be fair. Because I know a lot of people usually have.

Speaker: Same pics in their heads sometimes. We're going to guess a number. to see who goes first. 1 to 100. What is the number, in Dirty Mojo? Good God.

Speaker: Ugh, give me 33. Okay, that should have been last week. That was the number. Cool. What is it? It'd be fine. 55 AP. 6 -7.

Speaker: 67. Again with the 6 '7". Damn millennials, man. Get them off my program. AP, the number was 77. We'll start with you going around the Hornet. Cool. Dirty Mojo, sorry. That number would have worked perfectly last week. You would have hit it on the head. AP, what is your college football or NFL game of the weekend?

Speaker: I mean, let's be honest. It's the obvious pick, right? It's Ole Miss LSU. It is the... the cinema matchup that we all expected that we were gonna get you know some of us myself Thought it was going to be a blowout, but guess what? we were thought it would be a blue were We were a little disappointed in that regard, but we weren't disappointed by the entertaining game that we got. Obviously. With it being in Oxford, it was very heavy anti -Lane Kiffin going into that building.

Speaker: LSU made it. I mean, Ole Miss dominated early. They took the fight right to them. It looked like it was going to be a blowout on the other side going forward. Yep. Unless you in the second half fought their way back, but...

Speaker: Turns out, Trinidad Chambliss is indeed the better quarterback. So, you gotta... Great final drive there. They end up going up by eight. Gutsy called to go for the 2 .2, by the way, but it also did it and then it did help the fact that there were two offside penalties in a row.

Speaker: uh from lsu just made it that much easier for them to go for it and get it so um It just shows you that one team has figured figured things out. and yes they've been tested early but they've always that that's That's just the thing of...

Speaker: with Ole Miss this year is that they've shown that they can be battle tested. and and come out of these games unscathed. Where is... oh LSU? First two games, you're playing lower competition. You struggle a little bit, especially in Sam Levitt's case.

Speaker: And then you show just how undisciplined you are at times. And there was just so many penalties that ended up. costing this team at the end of the game. But still, overall, it was an entertaining game.

Speaker: It was exactly what we thought we were going to get with this game. It's Lane Kiffin going back to Oxford. for a... A revenge -type game with with Ole Miss.

Speaker: and Ole Miss got the last lap at the end of the day. and Now you gotta wonder... What happens to LSU going forward? because there's a lot of cracks in their armor going. uh going into it and I don't know about y 'all, but I'm kind of surprised Ole Miss is actually the underdog. this week going into Florida, which kind of...

Speaker: It surprises me. I get it. Florida's got a good running game, but... That's still kind of shocking to me No, as we said in the background, in the in the back room, even the Florida coach.

Speaker: Had a funny joke when her hearing that Florida was... uh favorite he said yeah there's a lot of good drugs uh in the world so Clearly, he knows that, like Rick James. Cocaine is a hell of a drug.

Speaker: That being said, no nothing precludes you. from choosing the same game. You just have to have a better argument than AP. Kool McCain, what you got on the game of the weekend?

Speaker: So I might just double dip. I'll make it quick on both, but I just want to double dip. I'm going to start in college with number eight, Alabama versus Florida State. Florida State jumped out to the 14. um with just the 14 points.

Speaker: uh to three in the first quarter and after that we kind of saw the shift to alabama uh the three turnovers uh by ashton uh daniels Keyline Russell looked really well, um put up 320 yards.

Speaker: ah Three touchdowns. ah Daniels two touchdowns but the three interceptions 377 yards. A lot of big plays, he only threw the ball 29 times. um What I liked about it was Alabama. Started out slow.

Speaker: but then they woke up was like oh yeah we we forgot who the heck we were ah No repeats of last year, we're not gonna be choking in these games that we need to win. And Florida State show you know something that has been talked about about them.

Speaker: Can they perform? Can they put up points against? Big time king. Not enough to win. But they did put up 36. in what could have been a Molly Whoppin'. dog walking, you know being a decent 50 -36 game for the state. so kind of a win and loss.

Speaker: so to speak. um with Florida State but don't want to say too much because I got to jump over to the NFL and we have to talk about shout out to killing more. the Super Bowl winning OC from the Philadelphia Eagles.

Speaker: who has finally In one season turned around. New Orleans Saints. week one tight one point game very true Boom. They come out. and they give Baltimore the work.

Speaker: Baltimore scores three points in the second a half after getting the big lead in the first half. Yep. The impressive part about it is How's the show? because the show was picked last year.

Speaker: Granted, I was looking. I was like, sure. Everybody. seriously but this guy has been It's a little bit of a testament to Kevin Moore, I'll say too. He's been turned into an NFL quarterback.

Speaker: He's able to win games, he's able to do enough to win. He's not coming out throwing 400, 500 yards, but he's able to do what's necessary to win the defense. uh looks a lot better than most people anticipated uh When you can stop Baltimore,

Speaker: from scoring only a field goal in the second half and no points in the fourth quarter. Um. i'm not going to say you're a world beater because this has been baltimore's problem for a while But when you're able to log into that problem and use that to come out with a ah big win.

Speaker: you know um In the game. Shout out to you, Soap. Yeah. Shout out. and all majority double down nobody had Nobody had Tyler Shuck going as the number two quarterback.

Speaker: drafting on their beating card last year. Right. And I... um I'd hate to play Baltimore defense. because I think they're going to be upset. Oh, all right. There you go. Dirty Mojo, what is your pick for the game of the weekend?

Speaker: Well, I got to go back to what... The first game was talked about. And it's obviously the... The LSU Ole Miss game. Look at the god the football gods, guys. They gave us one week.

Speaker: Texas, Ohio State, and the next week, LSU Ole Miss. I thought this LSU Ole Miss game was going to be one of the last games of the season before the rivalry games and things of that nature because why not, right? Why why are we going to give the fans?

Speaker: This great of a game. with what happened last year this early in the season. And, I mean, you could not have scripted this any better. i think I thought it was a fantastic game. Trinidad Chambliss came out there. They executed their game plan against LSU. LSU was getting punched in the mouth early. And go to go back from last week.

Speaker: LSU against La Tech struggled. They could not get the ball in the end zone. They were turning the ball over against Louisiana. um They couldn't do nothing. I thought. Ole Miss came out and was like, yo, they're about to BTA these guys.

Speaker: unfortunately for us baby a fort Unfortunately for Ole Miss and fortunate for... LSU. He won Lacey, got hurt. That pulled right off. Trinidad Chambliss had to kind of carry the team a little bit more than he could, and you saw what ended up happening. Right. You saw what happened. He started to have some turnovers. Things just wasn't going right. LSU started to get that momentum back.

Speaker: And then what happens at the end? Trinidad Chambliss looked like he looked against Georgia last year. When that ball, when that score was going back and forth, back and forth, back and forth, he kept leading them down and scoring. And it was like, whoever has the ball last is going to win this game. And it looked that way.

Speaker: They go down and score. Absolutely. Perfect drive that they went on. Go for it on two as balls right there. You don't get that. The way that LSU was playing and they come back in the second half. to be able to drive down, kick the field goal, to win the game if they would have scored a touchdown. would have been crazy, right?

Speaker: They go down there, they get the two offside penalties. Punch it in. Even without Kiwan Lacy in there, they punch it in from a half a yard away to go up by eight. which would cause something going on. The way LSU drove that ball down the field, though, I mean, you could just feel as if, oh, my God, this is about to turn into one of these games, man.

Speaker: That last interception was so great. And I don't know if you guys have been seeing it, but they have those pictures across the internet right now going out with those five players running down the um the LSU. pointing at Pointing at Lane Kiffin and everything like that. Oh, man. don't They has to put had to put like a... They had to create a tunnel over him.

Speaker: Man. Because they were throwing, like, drinks and shit. It was crazy. The pitcher. if i were one of those players i'm getting that picture i'm blowing it up i'm putting it in my dorm wherever but then the one they had another they had another picture where number six was off to the back a little bit and as lane kiffin was coming on the field you saw him running towards him the next shot lane kiffin had his hand out like he was trying to high five him and the dude had his hands behind his back yeah he was like i mean it was such a great it was it was like the best soap opera that we could have

Speaker: I mean, I was so excited about it, man. For me, I was really cheering on for Ole Miss. They did what they needed to do. Like you said, man, same Sam Levitt. struggled against Louisiana Tech. Didn't really do much against Ole Miss. um you know to me that was that was the game to watch i don't care who played anywhere else All eyes. We're on that game.

Speaker: All of them.

Speaker: You're not wrong about that. look that was the game of the weekend it was the premier game of the weekend Um... it It turned out to be at the end. with the comeback of LSU.

Speaker: you know, at least a good game in the end. Yeah. um go All right, let's go around the board. If I can though, real quick though. If I can real quick, I know I should have kept on with it.

Speaker: I think the reason that this this loss was bigger... For LSU. compared to Ole Miss losing. You're an LSU. Texas A and &M. Tough team to play.

Speaker: They still got to play Mississippi State. They gotta play Texas. They got gotta play Alabama. They got to play Tennessee into – They have... Probably the hardest schedule. I think maybe Florida has has a harder schedule than them. But when you look at that.

Speaker: You win that game, you set yourself up. for a little bit. I don't know if they can get in with that with with a three loss to the playoffs, with a three loss. um on their schedule.

Speaker: It's gonna be tough, man. They got some tough... Tough, tough people. teams to play. So and that i that point too, I'm not worried about the A and &M game because I think A &M is just fraudulent. I think Kentucky proved that last week.

Speaker: But yes, you've got Tennessee on the road. You've got Texas on the road. You've got... Mississippi State, who right now looks like they're world beaters right now. Yeah. Florida is going to be a tough game.

Speaker: Bye. Alabama is going to be a tough game. that They may be a 4 -5 loss team at the end of the day. Yeah. And, yeah, not only can did that happen, but also this is the thing. With the SEC moving to nine conference games, they're going to have more losses every team.

Speaker: So from now on, we're going to see a three -loss team every single year. get in and then when they expand to 24 teams as they inevitably will do. It will be four lost teams. getting in. which is why I don't advocate.

Speaker: For us. expanding. PAST! You know, 16. Or 18. I don't think we should go to 24, but I know it's going to happen because it's all about the money. So it doesn't really matter.

Speaker: But, yeah, we're definitely going to see. a three loss team this year. Four lost teams. in the future. get into the playoffs. so h you But you know, Omar, I think I disagree, man. I disagree because I think there's going to be really good football across the board with one with two lost teams. I don't think they let in a Tulane and a... um And, uh...

Speaker: Was it JMU? I don't think they let that shit in anymore. The way those teams got their aspect last year, even even with the threes, I don't think they'll put threes in there. There's going to be some really good two -loss teams that I think will be better than some three -loss teams. the way things are gonna set up man especially like in the acc the big ten things like that I really believe those three lost teams will get looked at and be like, nah.

Speaker: We'd rather see a two -loss team from another conference that played really well probably get in there. over them that could You could be completely right. I mean, look at how could put it look at how competitive the ACC is going to be now. Louisville's played great. that Miami's played great.

Speaker: Duke is undefeated Duke's undefeated. SMU's a tough team to play. That's right. why i'm I'm just thinking about the competition in the SEC and the SEC being the best conference with the big with the Big Ten, and then them looking at that and saying, well...

Speaker: If these teams are beating each other up. then of course someone's going to have three losses, but they're good enough that they should get in. that Here's the thing, and i get i get that I get that argument, but here's the thing. it's It's a fair game. It's a fair playing field now. Anybody can go anywhere.

Speaker: A lot of parity. You're right. There's a lot of parity. The SEC has bought not been to a national championship in three years. Not as much as the Big Ten. You said that last episode. Three years. That's right. Three years so three years since since the SEC has been to a national championship. Hell, the Pac -12 has been into a national championship before the SEC has the last three years. And the ACC has, too.

Speaker: ah Absolutely, absolutely. SEC ain't the powerhouse it once was, is what we're saying. You're going to start seeing a lot of these other schools from both the Big 12 and the ACC yeah start to step up their game. Look at Oklahoma State now.

Speaker: Look at Easton. who gave Texas Tech a fight. I agree. There's going to be a lot of competitive teams.

Speaker: yeah even in even Even in those G6 schools, two teams in particular, Boise State and North Dakota State. Keep an eye on those two teams. They look good so far. North Dakota State, though, let's give a shout -out to the former f fe FCS school that beat the shit out of everybody every year to that championship for like 10 out of 12 years and now came up to the FBS and is beating the heck out of all these FBS schools, too, just showing that that is a tremendous.

Speaker: then they have They have beaten powerful teams before. They've beaten... i beat I believe they beat Kansas State a couple times already. so And they're competitive. look They were competitive against other ones. That is going to be a tough home home turf to go to also. cause Now, this is the competition here as well. AP, choose your winner.

Speaker: I'm actually going to go with cool, not because I don't disagree with the LSU stuff, but because I i love, again, what I saw from Tyler Shuck this past weekend and just the way that he's matured.

Speaker: from year one to year two. leading two comebacks, almost getting a win in week one, and the way they were able to come back and beat Baltimore in that second half, I've got to give them credit for that. There you go. Cool. Who you got as the winner?

Speaker: It was tough, man, but... my guy up here man just a little bit more passionate on that one i think it was a little Reasons he buys too because he went last. But yeah. No. There you go. Mark, you got...

Speaker: You know, I got to go down low, man. He gave two. He gave too he gave a college. and and And it was a game that I also looked at, too, you know, with the FSU going against Alabama and the rainstorm, things like that. And then you just see like, oh, oh is is Alabama what's going on with these guys? You know, they struggled against Kentucky and then they come out this week.

Speaker: and then um you know what i'm saying it was like oh is that fsu gonna get him And then, he you know, you touched on it on the NFL, um you know, with with with. the saints even though he sees me wearing my stuff bro don't ever don't ever a big up to the Saints when you see me with my father and stuff, okay? If so, next time, throw them hands up. You understand what I'm saying?

Speaker: That's great. KD said Kool brought a different perspective and split it down the middle look the uh I'm a rule breaker in life. uh everybody knows that that knows me and i mean you are a raiders fan so that makes sense yes now Hey, hey, hey, one more, one more.

Speaker: You got to say this when he says that. buh At AFC West. Leading. The AFC West leading. Q and O. Raiders. You want him to say it every night, so let him get that one, guys. I kicked the Raiders last week. You got to hit it with Chris Berman. The Raiders. Now cool.

Speaker: the The rule was supposed to be CFP or NFL. But you broke the rules, and I like that. And only because... These two gentlemen chose the same game and did not, I didn't find one argument necessarily better than the other.

Speaker: I'm going to go with the Rule Breaker this week. But everybody! Don't you come in here with that cool McCain stuff. You better choose one or the other. Because we ain't got time for rule breakers, but I do this week because I love it. Let's go. Cool is getting the point in the first debate. Let's go. Good job, brother.

Speaker: All right, cool. Yes, you're in the lead, Flo. On to the leading standings. Flo has 14 points. Bobby G has 12, and AP is in third at 10 points right now. Don't worry. You will all get your chances to be on, and it'll be an average number of points.

Speaker: to make it fair. So don't worry about that. All right. That's right. There you go. to ra All right, here we go. NFL. Panic! or not, so basically... We are going to look at some 0 -2 teams.

Speaker: In the NFL, I gave these gentlemen five teams. to choose from. uh that are owing to and i want to know Are you pressing the panic button?

Speaker: Or are you not? pressing the panic button and you can choose e any of those teams And are you either point? Uh... uh lamar we start with you dirty mojo who do you have in this I am picking.

Speaker: The team who I thought, no disrespect, Omar. was going to win the afc west and that's the los angeles chargers who i don't know what is going on with these guys if i were a chargers fan i am pressing the panic button Panic, panic, panic, panic, panic. mike that Michael Daniels is out there. I don't know what he's doing with that ah with that offense. If you go back and watch the game, though.

Speaker: Justin Herbert was putting the ball on his players. They were dropping them. There were a lot of drop sees from these guys going on. from a team that i i thought the way they came out last year and played Healthy offensive line. Their defense is healthy because for the last couple years, we've been talking about the Los Angeles Chargers, that everybody on their team gets injured. They got this. They got that. They can't stay healthy. this out of it was nothing like that And if you guys want to say something really bad.

Speaker: The Los Angeles Chargers are 0 -2. They got. Seattle coming up. Baltimore coming up. The Chiefs coming up. The Ravens coming up. The the Broncos coming up. The Rams. Their next seven games.

Speaker: Guys! This team might be 0 -9. Oh, one and eight. Because the way they're playing. Only averaging 14 points a game the last two games. And look at the team that they lost to, guys.

Speaker: They lost to both teams that they lost to. were the bottom dwellers of the NFL last year. The Arizona Cardinals? and the Las Vegas are Raiders, right? You're supposed to beat those teams. You're supposed to beat those teams. When you look at a team, and I don't want to jump off subject on panic and who should be. When you look at a team like...

Speaker: The San Francisco 49ers. They... dismantled miami it wasn't some i'm gonna be close and i gotta take a shot at my man with the eagles hat on It was close against Tennessee. You're not supposed to be in games like that against bad teams. You're supposed to take your belt off like Michael Irvin's been doing. and beating the shit out of these guys. And and that's what the $40 is doing.

Speaker: Were you? If you were a Los Angeles Chargers fan. I'm pressing that panic button. I'm pressing it. Over and over and over and over again because I don't think they can win. And that is very possible.

Speaker: That is very possible. If you can't. If you can, Professor, throw that schedule up and see what these guys got to play. And they're 0 -2?

Speaker: Press it. you Go back to our our Sunday night postgame on Rec Room. Scott mentioned that there's a potential that the Chargers could go winless before their bye week. as well, so it's it's yeah very possible.

Speaker: Yeah. all right so here we go i'm gonna pull up their schedule real quick uh so we can uh take analyze this Los Angeles, there we go. Boom! Alright, this on.

Speaker: Pete said Chargers lost winnable games, and now their schedule is brutal. So true. Let's take a look at this. Ciao! Here we go. We got the... Oh, where's the schedule? My bad. It's on the left there.

Speaker: All right, here we go. So coming up, Buffalo. I mean, lost, right? At Buffalo. At Buffalo, yeah. Lost. Piero! Been playing great all year. They got Drew Locke now, though.

Speaker: Not Sam Darnold. Is that still a win? that's up in the air I guess. As long as we're at JSN, it's still a win. I was going to say she Jason is still there. Is he the best receiver in the league right now? We can talk about it.

Speaker: Mmm! It is hard to argue against it because he's been he's been like that for the play last year and a half. At the very least. Yes! Since last year, he's been the most efficient receiver. uh i read earlier What about Denver, though? Oh, Nick's on the downslide, not playing well. That defense is still balling. That defense is still nowhere sat. No, so can't count them out.

Speaker: get the event Kansas City. Patrick Mahomes is back. He is back. Right? yeah um I am more scared of Kenneth Walker. in that office because a's having it caving him, having him in that office just adds a whole nother dynamic to that. does Oh, it does. But I mean, look, then they got Los Angeles, then they got Houston, then they got Baltimore. That's a murderer's row of seven games in a row. That's crazy.

Speaker: And the two easiest games in that. You got beat. And you didn't get beat by a missed field goal at the end of the game. You got beat. gulp to score What's the score? You got beat by what was it? A 16? Yesterday?

Speaker: and come on man you know what's even worse they were both home games Heh. They were both home games. Like... that's it That's what makes it even worse is when you lose bad to bad teams at home.

Speaker: Because now you're only... winnable game really is at Miami. You can't even go into Vegas and potentially win. like yeah you might even lose to the jets at this point because the jets look halfway decent And, hey, cool, my bad. I blocked your face there. I didn't apologize. I didn't see that happening. Go ahead and give us your opinion on this schedule. What are you thinking?

Speaker: That was really good.

Speaker: It is ugly. You know what? Yes. is ugly. That's the schedule of the team that I'm going to talk about. Oh, okay. Well, then, let's go ahead and move on. Let me get this out of the way. Let's get back to our four -man box. Cool. What do you got?

Speaker: So... They started out after week one. With the, um... Pierrick victory. against the Philadelphia Eagles. Week two, Jaden Daniels' elbow does what Jaden Daniels' elbow does. He goes down. And then we see the true prayers up. stinking.

Speaker: Washington Commanders. so but you sellad di yeah eagle go fan I saw it live, too. It was not pretty. Um... o um What are those?

Speaker: Could i could i could i cut up can I just respond to bottom line sports real quick? We're just going to put a pause on what I was saying. Another one, the way he says, other schedules and the Eagles win against the Titans. Whoa.

Speaker: Flo, all of us don't get to play against a backup quarterback, so you know. Hmm. I'm just saying. And shut up. yeah All of us don't get a whole half against a backup quarterback. So, you know, some of us have to actually pay starters. Quarterbacks.

Speaker: yeah You know, the guys that win in training camp. and Or the better quarterback. So. I mean, there's that. Yeah. Gotcha. yeah But, um...

Speaker: Washington is ah is, I think, a really good team with Daniels, but without Daniels. Marcus Mariota. He'll win you a couple of games. He's a backup for a reason. The defense. showed you against Dallas.

Speaker: that when they don't have Daniels maintaining drives on offense. that it's not the same team. And, you know, I hate to have to talk about Washington like this because...

Speaker: I want them to be good. Ava won. Yeah. I want them to be good, too. let be good and i It's better. And, Cole, I know you agree with this. It's better when we're all good. it's yeah It's more fun to watch our division when we're all good and we're all playing good.

Speaker: yeah it's um You know, it's interesting to see Ah. how they'll be able to maintain. I think they'll put up good stats, they'll look good. But I don't think Washington is going to get a lot of wins with Jaden Daniels out. And this is not going to be three or four weeks. They tried that last year.

Speaker: Got the same injury again. So now you've got to really say what is he going to have to do. to get this taken care of so there's not going to be a problem in the future. And I think he's gonna be sitting. probably six plus weeks.

Speaker: And with him out six plus weeks with their next six games. um I did pull those up just so we could know. You know, talk about those games. Hey, Shane, your your team is one of these options here in the panic. Hey, Shane. I will say, as as somebody who was at that game live, sitting with a bunch of Commander fans, by the way, when that injury happened, they were all just like, it's like their hearts just sank.

Speaker: Like, every Commander's Friend is that building with just, like... Oh, God. I mean, I got... um I got a real good buddy that's a Commandos fan. Takes me to picture Of. his elbow.

Speaker: Ugh. Oh! And he was like, death There goes... The hopes of our season. Yeah, Carlton says 10 plus weeks. I was just saying, you know, six plus. Obviously, I felt like it was going to be more. But let's let's go over some of the games. I mean, that's the third dislocated elbow, though, in yeah in the past year. so that's yeah yeah so you guys and it my problem with that too cool is that it didn't even have to happen that way

Speaker: Because they didn't have to go for they didn't have to go for it with three seconds left. You could have just kicked the field goal, go into halftime, get the ball back. Well, you know, coach is trying to. And that's Dan Quinn. That's what Dan Quinn does. either It's either a hit or a miss.

Speaker: it's gonna get At some point, it's going to get him fired. Like, oh yeah there's there's a lot of people that are saying he he might be fired by midseason now. Yeah, this is it. for This is it this definitely it for Dan Quinn. What do you think about the name games for the Commanders? They got the Seahawks.

Speaker: They got the Colts, which could be winnable. Then they got the Giants. It's winnable now. They could be against... ah mario was gonna be james good i of like him So, yeah. Is it 2015? Yeah. but It's 2015. Then they have the 49ers.

Speaker: Denegate. The Eagles again. Then they got the Rams. Then they got the Giants again. Then they got the Bengals. They do have the Cardinals. No.

Speaker: Try this blue card. Then they've got the Titans. And what I want to say is... for uh mr flo who's throwing in there They can will be a backup next year. Watch and see what Cam does to the commanders.

Speaker: Mm. you know Watch and see what he does to the commanders. um I watched the entire game. Not big stats for Cam. But he made the plays when he needed to.

Speaker: Smart plays with his arm and with his legs. And when you get a quarterback start to. To get that. That's when he becomes dangerous. Especially one that you run. so that's why That's why I'm like...

Speaker: That's why I'm like, even though this is the team I'm not going to be talking about, that's why I feel like the Titans are not the ones that are going to be panicking because we kind of expected them to be in this spot. yeah They're going to get better. They're going to get better as the years go on, because as the year goes on, because I think Cam Ward's going to get better, and I think their receivers are going to be more gelled together once the season goes on. so I'm not going to put that team at all.

Speaker: After those days, the commanders didn't have the Texans, Falcons. in Vikings. So possible you know winnable games and then they finish the season with the Jaguars and Cowboys. So I don't see a lot of wins.

Speaker: in here for the commanders. Nope. I don't see a lot of wins. Bye. yeah And i'm I'm heartbroken for those Commanders fans, too, even though I hate them.

Speaker: all DC teams, even though I'm from here. Beach, I feel bad for you because you're right. Man, you all had a good team. I thought you were going to beat the Lions that year in the playoffs a few years ago. And it just didn't happen. And now he's broke his elbow three years. This is just horrible, man. People are starting to think of him as injury prone.

Speaker: Now... um And now you're right. You got to look at Dan Quinn. Always with Dan Quinn and and... It's been a clock management sort of situation.

Speaker: since he became head coach. Hey, we did it in Atlanta. Clock management was terrible in Atlanta. Yep. Yes. and that you thank you lamar wright back in atlanta he was as well So...

Speaker: KT says Rams, be Bengals, Eagles, 49ers. Oh, get out of here, man. Come on. Stop that. Stop that. We ain't doing all that. Not the 49ers at 2 -0. Let's see. we did no oh that's right you did beat the lines but you lost after that You're right.

Speaker: It was so its just the Rams, wasn't it? It was the Rams? Yeah, yeah. But that was the time I thought y 'all had the best chance to win the championship there. Oh, no, that was the Eagles. Never mind. That was the Eagles. game eagles They got blown out.

Speaker: Yeah. All right. Well, we got the Chargers for Dirty Mojo. Cool has the commanders. which might be just a hater pic. AP, who you got?

Speaker: I'm in. the there's There's the obvious... Team to pick out of the NFC South because of the the the quarterback shit that's going on. Sorry to cut for the cussing, but... um I'm actually going to go with Tampa Bay. It's a cutting program, my friend. I'm actually going to go with Tampa Bay. I think you've got to panic a little bit if you're the Buccaneers because look at the teams that...

Speaker: you you're old Yes, you're an 0 -2 start. You had to come back. You had four or five turnovers against the Bengals defense. $155 million QB. Wasn't supposed to be good, but now all of a sudden they're world beaters.

Speaker: I played a lot better. um But what makes it worse is that this was supposed to be a Baker Mayfield revenge game and y 'all lost to the Cleveland Browns.

Speaker: Mmm! to Deshaun Watson and the Cleveland Browns to make matters even worse, the guy who replaced you. In Cleveland. That is fair. I thought he was going to have a huge – And here's the thing. The Bucs have not looked good on offense.

Speaker: They just have it. that he I'll tell you. yeah hey Baker is missing Mike Evans so bad right now. in Tampa Bay. Yeah, of course. Because other than Bucky Irving. Chris Godwin's broken down.

Speaker: Abuka's not there yet. Although he's getting in. Literally. I got excitement on that. It's like Jalen McMillan did nothing. in the Cleveland game. He did nothing.

Speaker: I have to chime in on this one, guys. go that chime who Can I chime in on this one there? Please do. Why is the Bucs offense having problems? I can tell you why.

Speaker: Because their offensive coordinator. is Zach fucking Robinson, who came from the Atlanta Falcons the anything with that offense. They picked up our OC. And look at him!

Speaker: They can't do shit! Bro, that's why they're so bad. but That's why! So they got Kevin Perdue to do part two. Basically. Pretty much. Why the hell would you hire this fucking guy, Zach Robinson? I have no clue.

Speaker: Oh, my God. You complained about him all year last year. Didn't I, Omar? Oh, my yeah, that's why when they picked him up, I was like... Oh, yeah, we're gonna... bu Eh.

Speaker: That's what I mean. I already knew Miami was gonna stink because they picked up Kevin Badudu. Good to be you. Yeah. And it's like... you kind of you though You kind of expected more out of Tampa, though, right? A lot of people picked him to win the division. And it's like, to your point, Zach Robinson's been a terrible play caller. Baker has not looked the same. Mike Evans going away really hurt that offense.

Speaker: yeah Defensively, they can't stop a cold for whatever reason. Um... you know giving up 40 -plus points to Joe Burrow and the Bengals, even though Jamar Chase did absolutely nothing in that first game.

Speaker: uh, give up You know you had a rain it had a two -hour rain delay, but I don't even think the rain delay was going to... Being a factor, the Browns are still going to win that game. I don't know. Some people say that's what caused the loss.

Speaker: Some people say shit each day. And here's the thing. You're playing good defenses. and you're not able to perform against good defense. Who do you have next week? Oh, yeah. Brian Flores and the Minnesota Vikings who just held the Chicago Bears to three points.

Speaker: Tough teeth. that that That Bears offense that put up 59 in week one held them to three points. Yep. Green might' been a brain Bay green babe could be a potential win.

Speaker: Only because Micah's not back yet, and that's another. Team that looks out of whack on offense. They're lucky they even won that game against the Jets at all. of Dallas on a Thursday night. If the defense starts to get better, that's going to be a tough matchup.

Speaker: Steelers are always good on defense. Panthers defense looked better against Atlanta this week. detroit Detroit might be an air show, so that could be a potential win.

Speaker: And you might beat the Chargers because, like like you were saying earlier, the Chargers are just trash right now. uh Stop. It's going to be a long season if you're a Bucs fan. cause that This might be...

Speaker: one of the teams that could be the one of the biggest biggest disappointments of this season. Yeah, but I got to step in here and say this, though. If we're looking at the overall of the question, right? In all fairness.

Speaker: The Falcons fans weren't looking for us to be anybody kind of contenders. Neither did Washington. They they figured it they'd be a good team. Bucks may be sprinkled in there. The Chargers probably on that list was one of the teams that people thought offense New offensive coordinator.

Speaker: You still got Harbaugh in there. The team is still firing on cylinders and keeping everybody healthy. Why not? They made it to the playoffs last year, right? The Bucs didn't make it to the playoffs last year.

Speaker: Washington didn't make it to the playoffs last year. A lot of those teams didn't make it to the playoffs last year. So, yes, it has to be the Chargers who have to have that panic button. You have to. You started off last year knocking off ah the Kansas City Chiefs. In Brazil, where Omar is going to be this week, right? To come back to start the season 0 -2 this year and had that murderous row? Come on, guys. the The team that should be panicking, if you're a fan or if you even just watch football.

Speaker: Chargers. It's like the bottom track.

Speaker: No, it's a great argument look I mean... The Chargers were one of the favorites to be in the mix for the AFC West division title. So you can't deny that their start has been.

Speaker: problematic. to say the least uh that being said we'll see what everybody else says uh lamar who you got in your uh pick the witness argument i mean i gotta pick somebody here right You got to. i would say this and this is the only rise reason why i'm gonna pick p over here with that dallas cowboy i like the little do little joint no hat i like it did you get that like when the coach is a little visor I'll go with him. I will go with him because Yes, out of everything going on, the best quarterback.

Speaker: out of the ones that between the two we're talking about is obviously a baker mayfell he just got paid Right. He is the guy that you know we're thinking you know is the best quarterback in the NFC South. Stop playing like it, right? As far as Washington is concerned, it was still one of those. i don't I'm not really sure a lot of people were picking Washington to be. a team that's gonna can compete so i would have looked at this as being a panic button um so yes

Speaker: The Bucs lost to the Panthers at the end of the season last year, which caused them to fall out of the out of the playoffs. They were a team that you could look at to say, hey. you know we we got new stuff we can continue we could be better than what we were so yeah i'd have to go there There you go. Cool. Who you got?

Speaker: That's fair, but um when you lose your quarterback again. And it's the same injury three times in a row. your organization should be panicking fans everybody should be panicking About his duty. so that's kind of why i rolled that way i'm gonna go with ap as well Um,

Speaker: Whew! When you can't... Solidify yourself in AFC South? Excuse me, NFC South? It's very bad Because, I mean... i had I don't think anybody would argue that's the worst. And when you're at the bottom of the worst division,

Speaker: We're the bottom of the concern. We're the bottom. We're the bottom.

Speaker: There you go. I was trying to. Might be nice. I appreciate it. Hey, be who you got. I'm going up here because I know a couple people that I do a podcast with that actually picked the Chargers to be in the Super Bowl this year, and they are very disappointed. so Got to go with the Chargers pick.

Speaker: Interesting. Well, we have a little bit of a conundrum here And we're going to have. One point each. i'm declaring as the professor one point is to ap and Dirty Mojo, because to be honest,

Speaker: I'm going with dirty mojo. The Chargers were supposed to be a playoff team. That was in the mix if the if Mahomes didn't come back fully to be the top team in the AFC West. I heard so many people picking them up there. Even I.

Speaker: Pick them to make the playoffs, at least. And for this start. To lose to the Cardinals and to my Raiders? Look, we're playing well this season, but we shouldn't beat a John Harbaugh or a Jim Harbaugh, excuse me. Lead.

Speaker: Uh... a Chargers team that. not only is really good on defense, But also... should not be as bad on offense. And I watched that game, and they made way too many turnovers.

Speaker: Stupid turnovers. Justin Herbert threw two. They had a fumble. off of motion. And look. If Mike McDaniel runs 73 % of his plays. in motion formation, you're gonna have to get to the fucking formation without knocking the ball down. and and causing a fumble and causing a turnover on downs.

Speaker: So... Look, man, i think the I think the Chargers are in the most trouble here. I'm going to have to go with Mars, so we're going to give one point. To Mar and AP, I don't want to give zero points, so we'll give one point to each.

Speaker: But yeah, I think the Chargers are the ones that need to be in most panic. you don't You don't have the speed that you had in Miami. So I don't know why you're trying to run so much motion. with the with the with that Chargers team. I mean, you may be correct, but that's what Mike McDaniel's whole offense. so uh there you go shout out fay loves nature y 'all to uh tune in with fay and Rock Chalk True Crime, the best true crime podcast.

Speaker: on YouTube. Rock Chalk True Crime. Y 'all subscribe. All right, cool. Well, that was NFL Panic. Let's move it into our next. topic and we've got Are they a paper tiger?

Speaker: Or are they a dark? Horse! Yes! We've given you. Some teams here. And those teams include. The Chiefs.

Speaker: The Bengals. The Bills. The Vikings, Eagles. Seahawks! 49ers. All 2 -0 teams. What? We are asking our panelists.

Speaker: Are they fake? Or are they for real? Are they actually Super Bowl tenders? Or are they just fraud? paper. Tigers. Cool, McKay, we haven't started with you today. Let's start with you, brother.

Speaker: All right, so you know who I'm picking. I think you know. I said you know. Yeah. good So, I want to address the comment from earlier first. about 157 degree heat.

Speaker: Um... and and coming out with the wind where people had to pour water on their shoes. or change shoes three or four times because their cleats were melting. I don't see that Yeah.

Speaker: That was on Philadelphia Eagles. against the Tennessee Titans. Yeah. Oh yeah, 157 degrees on the turf. 157 degrees on the turf. So you think about playing in 157th degree.

Speaker: heat. When you are up north team. You think about not having your starting center. You think about your running back. You're all pro to one season removed from 200.

Speaker: From 2000 yards. going out early in the game with a stinger trying to come back and play but not being effective. You think about your all -world tight end going down and you still getting the win.

Speaker: Think about Dontavious Wicks. What do you bring? Yeah. The Slim Reaper, Devontae Smith. it If - If you don't want to put respect on the name of Jalen Alexander Hurts, you don't know football. Shut up.

Speaker: Whoa!

Speaker: Defensively, We've got some young guys that are that are moving into some roles. We've got... some guys that have been there we got the same coordinator we had when we won the super bowl we actually have an offensive coordinator that is not a hot steaming pile of monkey food The one thing that we do need to get rid of. is hulo the swing pass.

Speaker: The swing pass sucks for us. We're gonna get Mekhi Lemon hurt if we keep throwing that swing past it. But Mekhi Lemon is a guy that's coming up. Hollywood Brown hasn't been doing a lot in the passing game. But this past week, we got him involved with some in the rounds.

Speaker: ah to move the ball. you know special teams. jake elliott seems to be back from whatever was bothering him the last two years And um... I mean, it's gonna be a complete team.

Speaker: Yeah, I know. We want to talk about all you you lost. The only beat. The commander's about two points the first week of the season. Let's be 100 % honest guys. How many snaps did the Philadelphia Eagles start playing in preseason? as many steps as we bleed.

Speaker: So. The first couple of weeks of the season, It's really their preseason. because they didn't play in the preseason. Mka. So they're learning everything. together as a group on the field. against actual NFL teams.

Speaker: Are they going to go undefeated? Absolutely not. But will they be a team that will be standing? in here Will they be in the playoffs? Absolutely. Will they be contending for a Super Bowl? Absolutely. And again, if you want to disagree with that,

Speaker: then you're just a hater. Because you're not looking at the... truth You're not looking at what you see on the football field You see a guy go down and get ragdoll. Jalen Hurts got ragdolled in the third quarter by Tennessee. Tennessee beat him there.

Speaker: They smacked him around spit on him stalked on him everything But when the game was on the line. Clutch jeans outshines. We get to win.

Speaker: What more can I say? I always, there's one specific game that I always tell people about when it comes to jail. 2019. against Baylor in Waco.

Speaker: They were down 28 -3. ah it was so This was but when he was playing with Oklahoma. They were down 28 -3. They came back and won 34 -31. That is the Jalen Hurts you're going to get in Philadelphia.

Speaker: Yes, sir. Like he said, the clutch the clutchness, the guy never gives up. He's always fighting to the final whistle. That's just how he's been since his days in Alabama.

Speaker: So. It's that competitiveness. Jalen Daniels, he dislocated his left elbow, Faye. So that's what happened there. He's going to be out, they say, probably 10 weeks. Yes, hurt is good look.

Speaker: I have never said anything bad about Hurts because I think he is a great, tough quarterback. And he has come back some from so much adversity. If you look at the time he got replaced in Alabama. to only come back and win two.

Speaker: you know championships at two different schools or Boom. Hola! Did he win the second championship? I don't remember. Anyways. Doesn't matter. The adversity that he faced is all that it matters. Yeah, it was his elbow. So.

Speaker: Alright, AP, who you got? Who's your... Team! Paper tiger or dark horse?

Speaker: so Looking at this team, I kind of talked about them earlier. You know... Pretty good. It's the standard offensive performance we thought we were going to get with them. They've been good so far. They played a really good defense last week and put up 20 points on them. kind of expose them a little bit although That defense did have a struggle in week one.

Speaker: In their defense. It's like night and day from what we've seen the last three years. I'm talking about the Cincinnati Bengals. I think the Bengals are for real. In fact, preseason. I picked the Bengals to win the Super Bowl.

Speaker: Because looking at who they had on their roster. Wait, to win the Super Bowl you did? Yeah, I picked the Bengals to win the Super Bowl because if Joe Burrow stays healthy, that offense starts humming. Looking at the defensive pieces they added who have been big factors already, Dexter Lawrence, Jonathan Allen, just to name a few.

Speaker: Um, Cole, you and I both know those two very well from their days in the NFC East and how good they can be. It... Cincinnati has a solid defense.

Speaker: This is a team that can run through the AFC. I think even against Kansas City. Mm. I'm not saying that they should be the Super Bowl favorite right now.

Speaker: But I'm saying we could see in... A repeat 2021 performance from Joe Burrow, and maybe the Bengals find their way back to L .A. in the Super Bowl. I really love what this team is gonna is has done so far the first two weeks.

Speaker: It's not going to be easy. You've got the Steelers in Pittsburgh next week. That should be a fun game. You've got to go to Baltimore in a few weeks. Schedule's actually kind of favorable.

Speaker: for an AFC North schedule. Really the only tough game. You don't play Buffalo. So that's also another positive. The only really tough game you have is Kansas City at home. and you get them at home.

Speaker: Mmm! <unk> So... Very true. I really think the Bengals are definitely a dark horse, and I think they're a sleeper. to be not just a playoff team, but a Super Bowl. vendor this year.

Speaker: There you go. Shane, Pete said the Eagles have a championship defense, but you have to be concerned about the offense. The commander's defense looked like they had a legitimate pass rush.

Speaker: Maybe it's preseason effect, like you say, but things are going to go your way. Two bad teams and now getting to play the Bears in their defense. Third string QB. uh takes some bad gents But I agree the you Eagles usually start rolling in November.

Speaker: So there you go. He agrees with that part. Dirty Mojo, who you got as your... Paper tiger or dark horse? So so listen, though those two teams were were really good picks, but you know I would have some arguments about both of them, right?

Speaker: I go with the Philadelphia Eagles. Yeah, they they win those close games. but you know just like i said earlier those are teams that you're supposed to beat up really beat up, you know what I'm saying? You can't be in one of these things thinking like, uh -oh, are we going to lose to this team? and i mean you saw what happened with tennessee that come back to beat those guys It shouldn't happen like that. I don't care who is the starter quarterback, the backup quarterback, or whoever it may be.

Speaker: You cannot be in those types of games with those types of teams because when you play against really good teams, it's going to be really hard to go with. And then, yeah, you're absolutely right, Pete, with the Bengals, man. They do look really good. But look. Last week.

Speaker: Five sacks. Canteen said it right there. Can Joe Burrow stay healthy? Not getting five sacks. Not him getting getting sacked five times. And that doesn't even put it on there how many times he didn't get sacked. He threw the ball and got hit, right? How many times is he getting hit? How many times did he get sacked?

Speaker: Therefore, you know, so forth and so forth. I mean, Jamar Chase is looking like a guy like he always was. That fucking catch he had on the sideline with that touchdown. Oh, my God. That thing was gorgeous. i was at texas live when i saw that catch i was like oh my god man that was that was just un that was the fantastic catch but to go along with the question I think, you know, I so i talked about him a little bit earlier here, guys, and and it it has to be the San Francisco 49ers.

Speaker: right your very first game you go to australia and you you go against your your rivals in the ramps And you beat him. You beat him bad. What was it? 27 -7. And this is a Rams team. Having the the quarterback that they played.

Speaker: He was what? He was MVP last year, 40 -something touchdowns, right? Right? Am I right or wrong, right? They came out youre right they just manhandled these guys, right? Then you play a team that you're supposed to win and you don't play with your food. You went out there, put your fucking foot in their throat. And you beat him up. let's get that Let's get the backups in early and let these guys play so we don't get any more injuries. I mean, Brock Porte's playing great.

Speaker: Right? well you got You got resurgence from it Mike Evans playing great. you know what i'm saying it's like he rejuvenated himself You got um Debo Samuels came back. He's doing his thing. McCaffrey doesn't have to carry the load. You got Kellyanne Black, ah the rookie from Indiana, got fresh off of national championship. He's coming out there helped being able to he help carry the load. I think right now, if you look at the way that they played their two games, right? They played a really good Ram team who look what they did. like Look what the Rams did the other day. yeah Last night.

Speaker: they they they came out there and they they showed what healthy rest with you know being on time not showing up to the game across the world 28 hours before you play. they show what they are they they're the team that looked like the team from last year

Speaker: then you play a team that's that's a cupcake and you treat them like a cupcake Right now. I would say... If if you told me anybody, pick anybody to win the Super Bowl. I would pick the San Francisco 49ers. They look good across the board. They have a very veteran team. Their coach, Shanahan, you guys heard me talk about him. I hate him because of what he did to my Falcons in that Super Bowl.

Speaker: One of the best off offensive play callers out there. You cannot. take that away from him he's going to put up points he's going to put up a good game plan against whatever defense you're playing against they're going to score points IF If, and this is a big if, because we just talked about it with Burrow.

Speaker: If the 49ers can stay healthy. They are a team to reckon with. Last year, they were made they made it to the to the ah to the playoffs. And if my boy Dion was here, Clubber D, he would tell you, they had to pick linebackers up off the street to play for these guys. If that team can stay healthy, I would not want to see the San Francisco 49ers coming late. I think that's the best team in the NFL right now.

Speaker: I mean, look, the San Francisco 49ers. Go ahead, Cole. I just got a rebuttal to two things. What do you mean? Don't forget 157 degrees. You put to San Francisco at 157 degrees. they They are playing with their food, too, sir.

Speaker: So let's let's not forget. The external. temperatures. In fact, it affected both teams. Tennessee played on 157 degree temperature too. Tennessee now. Tennessee was practicing at that facility all week, were they not?

Speaker: To the sea head. Sim head. Training camp at their facility, they did not. Where was that ever? Where was that Miami 49ers game? That's not true. Nashville, they have there.

Speaker: naty i knew I live in Nashville. they play it They do their all their practices in an indoor camp facility oh about 10 minutes ah north of the stadium. So they don't practice in the stadium. They don't do walkthroughs or anything in the stadium. no i mean i know i don't look i don't know i'm asking the question i don't know maybe Maybe, but as far as I know. I would assume.

Speaker: The team at least does walkthroughs in the stadium that they're going to play in and not in the practice. I would hope so. You're right. I would assume. I would assume that an NFL team is not practicing on 160 degree temperatures. I don't give a shit who you are. They're not playing practicing on that. What happened on the field that you're going to play on.

Speaker: I'll just zoom in. i think any light it To be fair, they do that in the South all the time. Thank you. that's your thing too um

Speaker: Shout out the 49ers and shout out what they have done. But we have seen the history of the 49ers. over to like not one or two. but four or five years. A lot of injuries they do.

Speaker: end up somehow most of yours making the playoffs. I agree. with they don't go very far. So I mean history tells us that the 49ers are going to get injured as they always do.

Speaker: Until they show up differently. Haven't the 49ers been to two Super Bowls since Shanahan's gotten there? That's true. And they lost. So what do you mean they haven't gotten very far? Last year was the first year I think that they got out of it at the at the first game. They made it far. Every year? What are you talking about? They have made it far. Not every year. but So the two Super Bowls. that they went to.

Speaker: What happened in both of those Super Bowls? they lost the stop this stop But that's not what we're talking about. We're not talking about wins and losses. You just said they haven't made it far. I said overall they haven't made it very far. Okay, so it made the two Super Bowls in what, the last seven years?

Speaker: So what do they do the other five years? They made it to the NFC Championship game and lost. They made it to... Yeah, yeah. They made it to... The other three years will happen. and made it to the playoffs.

Speaker: I don't think they haven't made it to the playoffs since. in that did Maybe one year. that they made it to the playoffs. Did say that, so. That's not what I said. I did say that.

Speaker: Here we go. I love it. I love these arguments. That's why we got this game going on. Cool. Let's start with you. Who won the argument?

Speaker: ah

Speaker: Yeah. Do this. Do this.

Speaker: That is good. I'm just kidding. I'm going to get to you. I'm going to get to you. All right. all right so the uh because i can't give it to myself i think mine was better 49ers. Yeah, all fairness you can. 49ers. The vote. mar ah Dirty Mojo, who you got?

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: For me, I'm going to go here and I'm going to say this. Because... I love you to death, but I got to go over here with my man Pete, man. He did make a great point about the Cincinnati Bengals, man. Cincinnati Bengals is a team also, you know, with that within that division. Look at what the rant look with it what the Ravens did. I made a comment in our Sunday showdown that... um I think the Steelers... I think it's going to be the first year the Steelers have a losing season.

Speaker: Without Mike Tomlin there. How long Mike Tomlin was there? He never had a losing season. This is going to be the first year the Steelers have a losing season. And then we've got to think about the brand Browns, right? So, yeah. So, if you want to call them a dark horse, if you want to call them what you call them, the paper tiger, paper lion, I do like the ah the Cincinnati Bengals too. And, you know, if – if it's ifs and buts with kenny and nuts it'll all be a merry christmas right If Burrow stays healthy. If this, that, and the third. that up Yeah.

Speaker: If everything across the board, she'd be my uncle. She'd be grandpa, right? and So. The way you got to look at it is if everything... works out in everybody's best favor. Yes, I think the Cincinnati Bengals will be competing for the AFC North.

Speaker: And I think they can win it. So, yeah, a the Dark Horse, Paper Tiger. I like his ah Cincinnati Bengals. I'm sorry. Yeah. There you go. AP. So I did this last week just to piss him off. I'm going to do it again. I'm picking cool just to make Omar be the tiebreaker. Oh, you fucking asshole. I knew I was going to be the tiebreaker. Look.

Speaker: I was going to go AP because I think that Bengals argument is good because I picked them as well to be a Super Bowl contender. That being said. while their deep defense is good and they're playing well. We got to look at the 49ers, man. they have been injured year after year after year after year and they keep getting counted out and when at the beginning of the season when there was nobody we counted them out And now they're 2 -0. And now nobody's counting them out no more.

Speaker: omar omar but even even then look at the injuries that they've had even their coats got fucking injured in a car accident and these guys there they're just playing good i mean it's and their owner got arrested on prostitution so i mean it's crazy here we go okay Also, by the way, news came out today. Jed York has to sell the team.

Speaker: Because... No, he doesn't really. Wow. no No, they came out and they said they're going to force him to sell the team. Wow. but Wait a second. Why did Robert Kraft have to fucking sell the team after he had 80 massage therapists his.

Speaker: testosterone. How about that? Why did he have to sell his team? Is it because Jed York isn't in the upper levels? upper echelon of the owners like a jerry jones or a robert kraft Could that be why? You mean when Robert Kraft was getting happy Indians?

Speaker: We must look for love. with him From Thailand, they were smuggled into the country. That's that exactly right. I'm talking about him and Deshaun Watson sharing the same massage therapist numbers. That's what I'm talking about.

Speaker: Well, Deshaun Watson must have went and seen... one of those therapists this week. boy sure ever Also, don't trust the subway system and in San Francisco either.

Speaker: Well, I mean, don't trust anything you sit on in San Francisco. Hey, God damn. you enough I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I love eyes pay i love my i love all my LGBT community. I love y 'all, but that don't mean that that don't happen there. that Like, look, I hate when I see those like HIV commercials on TV because it's like.

Speaker: Well, if you didn't stick your dick in somebody that has some hiv or so we wouldn't have this issue okay now i know there's some times you get the blood transfusion He gets to be. But this is the 2020s. We don't got that issue no more. So every time I see that coming on, I see two dudes holding hands. I'm like, well.

Speaker: Maybe. Maybe. no No offense. I don't care. Do what you do. I love my gay brothers and sisters. But just don't be surprised if things like that happen. That's all I'm saying.

Speaker: um Call your lawyer. I don't care. Hallelujah. I don't care. Sue me. Cancel me. I ain't got no money. What do you take from me? I literally am broken shit. You cannot take anything from me. You know, put me in jail? All right.

Speaker: Send me to jail! Throw away the keys. I don't give a fuck anyways There we go. We need a shot of bourbon. i don't have bourbon but i got some beer in here i'll cheers Um...

Speaker: I know. Sorry. I apologize, people. my book My bad. My bad. My bad. My bad. Alright. All right. but Careful, you might get canceled. Mmm. Yeah, we might. We might. I'm going to have to erase that part of the replay. ah I'm going to give it to Lamar. Dirty Mojo, I do agree.

Speaker: 49ers at this point in time have showed the most fight. went out to australia beat their opponents did it the right way got out there a week behalf Not the day before like the stupid ass Rams did. um But I do agree with you, AP. The Bengals are another dark horse as well. Dark horse team. All right.

Speaker: Let's move it to our game picks. All right, we have our college football picture of the week. Georgia versus Oklahoma. Texas A and &M versus LSU.

Speaker: Texas. Versus. Tennessee, now. No scores are needed. Just... Game picks. and i forgot my uh my my write down i forgot my paper so y 'all go ahead and talk for a second let me go get my paper yeah Ho ho ho ho ho.

Speaker: That has to be all SEC teams too, didn't it? All I want to say. Pretty much. that yeah I'm sorry. AP, start us off. a I mean... Ugh.

Speaker: I really want to. I know I'm not going to because our offense is terrible. it's it's it's disgusting I don't even know if you could call in an ah offense at this point. It's just been that bad.

Speaker: when you can only put up 14 points against New Mexico. which that's a good new mexico defense i'll give them credit for that but still you're only able to put up 14 points And then you get embarrassed in the big house against the Michigan team that almost lost to Western Michigan.

Speaker: I mean, it's going to be brutal. I am picking Georgia. But I'm also doing it because... um

Speaker: i like I do this thing what that I like to call the reverse curse. Whenever somebody's playing against my team, I did it to Philadelphia and Kansas City last year. we We played them in the middle of the end of the season and it worked.

Speaker: Um, I am picking Georgia. Because Georgia is... the better team. They are for... Definitely the better team. Would I be surprised if Oklahoma suddenly found out how to play offense and made this a game?

Speaker: I would not But looking at it right now. There is no chance in hell that we are beating the Georgia Bulldogs. I'm sorry. It's not going to happen. Yeah, and by the way, AP's an Oklahoma fan if everybody hasn't figured it out by now. Yeah, yeah.

Speaker: Yeah. i mean i'm i put the curse on george and i put the reverse curse on him but as us I'm still picking Georgia because they're the better team by by and far.

Speaker: Um... That's... LSU's upset. I get that. You're at home. Lane Kiffin's going to be pissed. He's going to want to put up big numbers on in that game.

Speaker: And... To be honest, Texas A and &M has been fraudulent for the past year and a half. they've had a cake They had a schedule. in the SEC last year. They got exposed by a Kentucky team of all teams. Last week.

Speaker: Um... And i I don't think it's even, and I know picking a blowout with LSU worked against me last time. But I do not think that this A and &M team is as good as what we saw from Ole Miss.

Speaker: Set alert in the big game of the weekend. Fight up, Chet. Oh, of course. Of course he put, of course he brought this up here. All right. Hey, just to update everybody, it is 2014. What's AP fail after a failed goal? So now we're at 34 points. Remember, they need to break the record. So they may break it in this game tonight. AP, who are your picks for this game?

Speaker: So I'm gonna go backwards I'll start with the big game. We'll start with the big game, LSU Ole Miss. Um... I am picking LSU. I had LSU in the SEC championship game. I have them losing to Georgia in the SEC championship game.

Speaker: I believe. that this This LSU team is for real. p um I don't think it's going to be even close. I'm going to say it's going to be like a 35 to 10. Oh, wow.

Speaker: Here's the thing. I love Trinidad Chambliss. I think he's going to be a fantastic quarterback in the future, especially when he gets to the NFL. But there's um um there's one person who nfl there is what there is one person who knows Chambliss better than himself, and that is Lane Kiffin.

Speaker: Mm. MMMMMMMM How do we feel about ourselves, AP? Ugh. Uh -huh. Uh -huh. Yeah, yeah, yeah. All right. A &M is still a terrible team. I'm still going with LSU. I just want to call receipts on this show. That's all. Colt McCain, who you got in Georgia versus Oklahoma, my friend?

Speaker: Georgia Bulldogs. Okay, UGA. You got it. Lamar. You are a UGA fan. That's why we brought you on. Fellas, I mean, come on. I mean, ah mean I mean,

Speaker: I don't even know how this is in the college football picks, actually. how How are we going to go over this, right? Georgia's coming home to open up a home SEC game. Gunnar Stockton is firing on all cylinders. I think he has more touchdown passes. Then he has drops. Incompletions, I'm sorry, incompletions.

Speaker: He's what, 8 '8"? Touchdowns to six incompletions on the season. I mean, the the guy just, you know, he ran for almost 150 yards, you know, against Arkansas. now I know it's Arkansas Razorbacks. Let's not.

Speaker: jump ahead of ourselves. um Even with Nate Frazier possibly not playing this game, you know he has some sore ribs. Kirby Smart said that he's good to go. I mean, really? I mean... The last team that Georgia lost to. at home was Alabama last year.

Speaker: They beat Ole Miss there. They came back to beat Ole Miss there. So, I mean, for Oklahoma to come in here, and and you're right. ah New Mexico, ah Michigan. You can't score any points. Then you got to go against that...

Speaker: Georgia defense, who's better than they were last year. Their defense is better than they were last year. They're getting after the quarterback. Turnovers galore.

Speaker: What is it 14 point? They don't even cover the spread. Georgia's going to blow them out. Now, look. you they're not We're not even ranked. take We're not even ranked. I don't even understand how this game got chosen. I would have chosen Missouri. I would have chosen Missouri. but's Because you and Dirty Mojo are on. So it made sense to choose the game, AP, okay?

Speaker: Work with me here, all right? It makes sense. Doesn't mean you had to choose it. Alright. Look. Georgia is 3 -0 for its 12th consecutive season, but they also play cupcakes.

Speaker: So what does that mean? when you play an actual Oklahoma team that has played Michigan. that has played other tough teams that has well not other i guess new mexico state ain't that tough but they played All right, you know what? I just defeated my own argument. They played Michigan, which is tough enough.

Speaker: Um... i'm trying to help you out ap no i mean no there's i mean you have you have an argument you do have an argument there but you know you have to look at game preparation. You've got to look at the overall players and and how things go. And, you know, I'm saying Kirby Smart's, you know, arguably the best ah college football coach coaching right now. And he's going to have... the Georgia Bulldogs prepared to play against an SEC opponent. And if you've gone and watched a lot of his his talks, he always talks about it doesn't matter. ah who you're playing in you know in the SEC, it's hard to go to away games.

Speaker: you know Even them going to Arkansas, it's hard to play on the road in the SEC. So you've got to give that point right there to Georgia, you know to come into Athens as Oklahoma. And I don't want to take all little Oklahoma away like they're a pushover team. you know They are a good team. They are a historic program that you know year in, year out, they they produce NFL ah talent and they they continue to ah to to get into the... um

Speaker: to high school and and and get these young kids to to recruit to come to their school so they are a good program it's just you know going into georgia at this point and and and what's going on with these guys. It's just really hard to.

Speaker: to to bet against them and you know i'm not trying to take anything i'm not an oklahoma hater I think, old home like I said, Oklahoma's a good team. I cheer for them every year to beat Texas in that Red River shootout. Man, you know, I'm a Georgia fan. You guys see it. Go Dawgs. Sick them, right? Yeah. Well, I mean, it's hard. It's going to be super hard to come into Georgia as Oklahoma. I just don't see it happening, man. I will say the last time we were a 14 -point underdog in an SEC game, we beat Alabama, so.

Speaker: I'm just saying that. There you go. hey So there's a silver lining with that, but there's also the fact that John Mateer can't throw a football right now. Yeah. Dude, what's going on with him, bro? I have no clue. I have no clue. You know what's bad when people are calling for the backup quarterback to come in? Oof. Ooh.

Speaker: Yeah. All right. Texas A &M and LSU. Cool McCain, who you got, brother? LSU. LSU should be... um Little ticked off after last week.

Speaker: okay They should come out with a little more fire in their britches. Because the old people's like... As the old people say. There you go. Dirty Mojo. yo listen up man ah I don't wanna...

Speaker: I want to be that guy. What? Just because Kentucky beat Texas A and &M, i don't I don't want to... I don't want to push them down. Marcel Reed's going to come out there. He's going to come out there ready to play. here you go guys You know, we talked about it in the NFL. Let's talk about last year.

Speaker: Check the thing in them. bt8 lsu 49 to 20 something, right? Granted, they got new players coming that transferred there from from Ole Miss. They do have a new coach.

Speaker: Sometimes there's some teams that just have the number of another team. It doesn't matter who's there. uh you know i said i go back to what you know i said before with georgia and alabama they didn't have They didn't have Nick Saban anymore, right?

Speaker: new quarter New coach comes in there. Everybody thinks Georgia's going to beat them. They lost to them. So... For me, it is something that you have to look at. Texas A and &M is still a team that can is dangerous, can put points on the board. Marcel Reed is a fantastic quarterback. He could lead that team to do what they need to do. Kentucky.

Speaker: Hey, Kentucky might be that dark horse team in in the SEC that we're talking about. They had Alabama on the ropes the week before. The second half they came out and Alabama put it to them, just kind of like what else is what Alabama did to to Florida State. But maybe Kentucky's one of those teams that just – knocks off a team that doesn't need to be knocked off. So let's not. look at the the loss to kentucky and say that you know kentucky's just ah a walk over but For me...

Speaker: I'm gonna do it. I'm going to go with two losses in a row for LSU. I'm going to say Texas A &M is going to beat A &M is going to beat them.

Speaker: All right, Texas A and &M on the win there. Hey. AP, look. we just We just called you out on your pick last week. Are you going to pick LSU again? Yes.

Speaker: Oh!

Speaker: One then because... One, because Yeah, I am going to pick LSU. Also, I'm an Oklahoma fan and I hate Texas A and &M. about as much as I hate Texas. so Okay.

Speaker: Well, LSU is eight and a half point favorites. So they are favored to win this game over number 23, Texas. A and &M. So we will see what happens. All right, let's move it on. Texas versus Tennessee. The big game of the weekend, number one versus number 14.

Speaker: Let's go, AP. What you got? I don't understand how Tennessee's ranked 14th. Who have they played that has showed me that they should be a top 15 team in the country?

Speaker: I get it. Josh Heupel's done a ah great job with that program. they' They've got a lot of new guys coming in. They haven't really been battle tested yet. Texas has.

Speaker: And they came back and beat. an Ohio State team that a lot of people have. running through the Big Ten and going to the very college, going to a national championship potentially. so I'll take as as much as it sickens me to pick this team.

Speaker: I'm going to take Texas. and i'm probably gonna throw up after the show's over and go throw up as I did with the Knicks every time I had to pick them over the Celtics. Cool McCain, go ahead.

Speaker: I'll make it very quick, Texas. Huh. All right. Dirty Mojo. Hey, one of the greatest stadiums to play in, right? Neyland Stadium, man. The atmosphere is going to be rocking, and it's going to be going, and and they're going to be wearing their Duel for Dolly shirts, right? That's what they're going to be wearing. Hey! Western Beats Dolly. We love it. Hey, but listen, man. You know what I'm saying? As much as I love...

Speaker: Being out there in Texas, man. and I'm sorry, in Tennessee. and I've been out there with you, Omar. I love Nashville. Yes, sir. Next year. But I love it out there. We'll be out there again next year, right? Texas has too much star power. They have too much star power. ah You got to look at Texas and that emotional win that they had against Ohio State. Players are rocking on all ah things, man. it

Speaker: Archman is going to come in there. He's going to do what he has to do. I do say this, though. I will say this. I don't think it's going to be a a blowout. I think it's going to be a a really good game. I think that... ten Texas will pull away a little early. And Tennessee will kind of catch back up. But I got Tennessee winning. I'm sorry, excuse me. I got Texas winning this game.

Speaker: There you go, Texas. All right, cool. Let's move it on to the NFL. Hey, we're starting back with you, Dirty Mojo. This is your... account. I know you've been lamenting your Falcons all year long. Talk to us.

Speaker: Guys. I could not stand the Kevin Stefanski hire. I didn't want him. Wait a second. I have to ask a question. Because you said that on Sunday Showdown.

Speaker: But when you and I were at the airport in Austin... For our fantasy football draft. Say it, say it. You said. That I am trusting Kevin Stefanski as the one true coach of the year. I said that. i did say that i did but i did say i did not want him i did not like him and i said i'm gonna give him a chance

Speaker: I'm going to give him a chance because he won it, right? And I knew the turmoil that they had over there in Cleveland with the quarterback debacle with with Watson, with ah with Sanders, and all of that shit, man. It was kind of like, what's going on over there, right?

Speaker: but also made a comment that Tommy Reese, I was not happy. the fact that they brought Tommy Reese in as offensive coordinator. We just had Zach Robinson, who I could not stand. And I said... I've made a comment that if the Atlanta Falcons... are showing no kind of offense.

Speaker: Kevin Stefanski better step up and start calling the plays. I don't care who the quarterback was guys. Let me give you guys a stat that I don't think too many people know. The Atlanta Falcons are the first team since the 07 Rams. who their offense has not had one snap. in the red zone You have Bijan.

Speaker: They have not had one snap. I'll say it again. They have not snapped the ball as an offense one time in the red zone in their two games, eight quarters of football. You have Bijan. You have Drake London. You have Kyle Pitts. You have stars that could. that can pull points up and you have not had one snap my friends are pissed off Terrible. Terrible. So here's the thing. The Atlanta Falcons are going to be starting Michael Penix. I was upset about it. You know why I was upset about it? Because I said... If you can play Thursday, why couldn't you play on on Sunday?

Speaker: You can't tell me that you're... That, that, that, oh, my injury. Or they magically healed you. Right, right. what What are you doing? Michael Penix to me, I said this in in my last show, Michael Penix has no heart. He has no mamba mentality in him. Not since he got in the league. you remember That's because he got a leak.

Speaker: Wait, no, that wasn't me. No, no, when he was getting when he was getting beat up in that national championship game and he kept going and fighting, I loved that dog in him. But for for him to say last year that... He doesn't have any support.

Speaker: only but from his wife i said what you have no support for as a quarterback, but from your wife. And then this year, you're sitting here saying every week, That's your... cleared the play Your mind just isn't ready. Man, I've seen NFL players getting kicked. My mindset, I'm just, my mind isn't ready to play. To me, you're not a dog. And in in the NFL, you see players getting carried down the field.

Speaker: I'm going to go out there and win. and I'm going to do what I got to do to help my team win. For you to say that I'm not mentally ready. Man get this guy off my team. The Packers are going to win this game. I hope. I hope.

Speaker: when mike If this was a home game, I would have hoped that the Atlanta Falcons fans would have booed his ass. when he started because Yo, Ashton, it played on Sunday. You're not mentally ready. you're not mentally ready to play man you know what football football is a sport where we talk about this all the time that You got to have loose screws to play football. You you you got guys who are 6 '5". 300 pounds solid muscle running as fast as they can and trying to run into people You have to be...

Speaker: fucked up in the head to play football For you to come out as a quarterback, say I'm not mentally ready after you've been um cleared to play football. And I go back on this one. um I go back on this one, guys. He tore his ACL in week 10 of last year.

Speaker: Mahomes tore his in week 15. Tell me how you're not fucking ready to go out there and play football. Tell me you don't have that. Thank you. There's no canteen. You're absolutely right. There's no. heart and penance none i don't want him to go out there go ahead and lose because just like my man peach said

Speaker: I'm already in mock draft mode. I'm just looking for the mock draft. I couldn't be in mock draft mode last year. Why, Omar? Because we didn't have a first round pick because we traded it away, right? this year i'm looking for mox already let's go who are we getting in the top five i don't know There you go. Well, Atlanta's going to be searching long and hard because Tua and Michael Penix ain't going to be the ones, I can tell you that right now.

Speaker: Cool McCain, who you got in this game? Well... I was picking the Packers anyway. But I feel a lot more confident about that. I'm not good. That's funny as shit. Yeah, Mike is a phoenix. Yeah, michael Michael is a phoenix. A phoenix, that's right. Hey, KD, you used to call him a phoenix all the time. We used to make fun of him. AP, who you got in this game?

Speaker: I mean, you know it's bad when you're president of football operations going to Stillwater to scout two quarterbacks that aren't even ready that aren't even getting ready for... potential jump to the NFL yet.

Speaker: Yeah. give me the Packers give me the Packers Yeah. All right. Go back right to it. Rams in Denver. What do you got, Yippee?

Speaker: Part of me wants to pick Denver because their defense is just really good.

Speaker: But I think the... rent oh You know what? Fuck it. I'm going to go Denver. I'm gonna go Denver. Denver. Whoa. All right. There you go. Cool. Who you got?

Speaker: Do we have an update on Puka yet? He is supposed to be out for the weekend, as last I heard. If Puka's out... It makes it a lot tougher of a pick.

Speaker: um because i think with puka they have a full complement of uh let me check real quick Um.

Speaker: We saw what Devontae Adams can do. Mmm. Oh my God. Here we go! Great. I'm not saying he could do that to Denver's defense. But I'm saying we saw what he did do when he got the opportunity.

Speaker: So you can put Puka beside him. You got to watch both of those guys. You're going to get Karen Williams. He has a hip and groin injury, but Sean McVay is hopeful that he can return. So that's all we got.

Speaker: um I'm going to say he's not going to play. oh It's going to make the game a lot tighter. right I mean, he's got a hip and a groin. Come on, man. Yeah, it's a lot. Yeah. Hey. from If Kyron Williams can catch the ball.

Speaker: right If they lose use their seven tight ends like they did this past week. Adams is a... you know decent number one Hmm. Hmm.

Speaker: I'm gonna go. Rams. Rams. And a nat booty tight win. Ooh, crank. A crayon booty type crayon. Wow. Right.

Speaker: As Antonio Baker would say. Uh, Tony Baker. Uh, and then we got... I already picked. Lamar, who you got? thirty more that's that's That's okay, that's okay. I threw Omar off my bed.

Speaker: listen man hey guys hey hey i know it was i know it was a downed New York Giants team, but... ah MVP, man. He looked MVP -ish. And Adams helped with that, ah you know what I'm saying? To me, the Rams are a better team. um I think they're going to come out here. i think do I think the Rams should win this game. and on Aaron Donald... Second game that he'll be back, you know, playing. He played against the Giants last night.

Speaker: Um, Look, the Rams are the better team. I don't like what... um the offense for the Denver Broncos have looked like. ah Yeah, they got a good defense. I really think that the Rams have ah a better team overall. I got the Rams winning in this game.

Speaker: that There you go. All right, we'll come right back to you. Actually, no, we're not. Actually, here we are. We're saving Coom for last. Dirty Moji, you got eagles and bears. hey look man i think there's a very very hard felt Bears team, that the captain of their ship.

Speaker: has gone down, right? The captain of the ship has gone down. And I think Peach made a comment that... Their backup quarterback is in concussion protocol too, right? So the Bears starters hurt. Then your backup needs a concussion protocol. They're all, I mean, God, come on, let's let's let's look at this. The Eagles, yes, the Eagles are are a healthy team. The Eagles are the.

Speaker: Gonna be the better team in this game. especially without ah Caleb Williams playing the game. um DeAndre Swift, they're going to have to stop him. He's going to have to help carry the team. I don't think they could do very much. uh But...

Speaker: Let's look at it. Ben Johnson is one of the best play callers in the NFL. He could put together a really good script. I don't know what's going to go without their starting quarterback, but you know I got the Eagles.

Speaker: you got you can't You can't go wrong with the Eagles in this game. All right, there you go. Cool. Who you got? I mean, I'm sure you... Wait, no, no, no. Not you. Sorry. We save you for last because it's your team. AP, who you got?

Speaker: He's going to do it. I really am going to have to go throw up after this show. Oh, let's go. mean I mean Tyson Badgett is not Caleb Williams. If it was Caleb Williams playing quarterback, I'd probably go Chicago, but it's Tyson Badgett.

Speaker: Yeah. Who? Who? and It might not even be him. It might not even be him, like you said. so ah Well, if it's not, it's Kurt Warner from the fucking grocery line. And Philly's got a good defense, so yeah I'm going to pick i'm go take Philadelphia. Cool, this is your team. Do you think you're going to win?

Speaker: I think i'm always think I'm gonna win to be honest with you. Okay. Yeah, I think he knows. Every year bro. Um, But as an analyst, I'll be. reasonable. Um. I think that... um Caleb Williams actually might play.

Speaker: According to what's being said. No fucking way. there's no not goingnna increase You are not come off the field. CRYING Like Vince McMahon. When he tore his ACL.

Speaker: At SummerSlam or whatever that was. You ain't going to come off the field. Crying. Like, it hurts so bad in the world if it's a strain. I'm sorry. If you're trying that bad, you got to be out there saying to the minimum.

Speaker: They're saying that he is not ruled out of the game yet. Okay? You gotta remember, he paints his fingernails. So he's a little basic little feminine. He's a little pushy. Yeah, he's a little feminine. Paints his fingernails, so you gotta remember that. oh hey Yeah, it it does I'm reading it right here. It does say he's weak to weak.

Speaker: Yeah, so he's week to week, so he may play. I will say this. The worst thing the Chicago Bears can do is put Caleb Williams on that field this weekend. that's that's you put them only excuse me monday night You put him on that field Monday night. against the Philadelphia Eagles. And they know that his hamstring is weak.

Speaker: He's going to get hit there. quite a few times yeah it's got a great point Yeah, so I think... If the Chicago Bears want to have a chance to have a good season. you don't put your quarterback out there with a big red X mark on his hamstring.

Speaker: um So I think you're going to play... badgent or whatever his name is if he's healthy Since he's supposed to be better than Chase Keenum. um And then if not, you're going to have to go with Case Keenum. Um...

Speaker: Personally. Um, I feel as though The Eagles defense has fixed the problems from last year. ah There were some issues last year. um not the right depth not the right components in place still working it out a little bit right Just signed.

Speaker: Zach Ertz because we need help on the offensive end, the tight end, because that's what happens every year Dallas Goddard is heard. What a shock. Yeah. Gallus Goddard is your number one tight end. and you don't have another pass catching tight end. Healthy pass, Cassidy, on the roster.

Speaker: I have to question that. We do have a question. Um, We did sign, what is it, Kevin Moore? who is a safety slash corner. ah positions where I believe there would be some need for assistance for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Speaker: So I think that, uh, you know, you're attempting to Fix the issues on the team that you've seen. I don't know why you didn't see him at training camp. I don't know why you see joint practices, but apparently now you can see you didn't see then. Maybe he had laser surgery or something, I don't know.

Speaker: But... You're fixing a few of little things that need to be tweaked. um As I said earlier, offensively, um I think we're pretty good at skill positions. I am concerned with the new center.

Speaker: right because when you're taking the guy and you're putting him into a position he hasn't practiced And he hasn't, you know, played in in in any meaningful games all offseason. and through training camp, I think that becomes a bit of concern.

Speaker: but even in 150 degree heat There were no bad snaps. you know Please mail to England. He was able to snap the ball well, so. Hopefully we can build on that.

Speaker: um I think this should be a win. I will go on an edge and say that if Caleb Williams was playing, I feel like we still would have a good chance to win. I wouldn't be probably as confident.

Speaker: But I feel like we still would have a good chance to win. um There is something to be said for a team that's together There's more of a brotherhood. It doesn't have a... Diva crying. and reading books on the sideline and dropping balls. Whoa!

Speaker: Shots fired, AJ, bro. Messing up the locker room. So... I think that... remembering for a lot of those guys over there last year. they remember what Chauncey.

Speaker: Johnson's dead. after the game And they remember what happened in that game. And I think they're ready to get a little get back. from the Chicago Bears. with or without Caleb Williams.

Speaker: There you go. We got the Eagles. i Weep! Go Birds. Now we move on to our lock and upset of the week. You can choose either a college team. or an NFL college game or NFL game.

Speaker: Your luck has to be a favorite that covers the spread. Your upset has to be a plus 7. NFL underdogger plus 10. CFP underdog that wins outright.

Speaker: Cool. We'll start with you.

Speaker: Hehehehe.

Speaker: So let's have some fun with this. I love the evil villainous laugh. let's have some fun with this hey you can only be right or wrong right so So...

Speaker: I'm going to go out on ah on a big limb for my upset. And I'm going to say that Kevin Peduto accidentally calls a good game. and the Miami Dolphins beat t

Speaker: oooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Wow. i mean i can't see that but i'm happy for you bro All right. Your lock of the week. Wow. That's tough.

Speaker: Yeah, it's not still a week. Oh, that was your lock of the week? That was my upset of the week. Oh, thank God. Okay. Yeah. no All right. oh 15 last week.

Speaker: By the way, y 'all. Chose. An upset as is Locke, yeah. Arizona over here. So for my Locke of the week, are we doing both at the same time?

Speaker: Yes, go ahead. All right. My lock of the week, I'm going to stay in the NFL with that too, and I'm going to go the Seahawks over the Commanders. Mmm. We're the commanders. We're the back of the week.

Speaker: I think that's a great lock. Hey, if you go go crazy on one, you got to make sense on the other one. Look, Marcus Mariota. Look he's a great backup. He can handle a team. He can win some games, but he's not going to win most of them. so Hey, AP, who you got?

Speaker: So both of my picks, I'm going to college football, and I'm actually going to the group of six with these picks. Oh, I love it. I love AP digging deep in the crates. My first pick is going to be the upset. I'm going to go Colorado State.

Speaker: Who is... a 13 and a half point underdog to utsa I'm going to go Colorado State to win that game outright. This is a really good offensive team in Colorado State, and they can put points up on the board. so i think It could definitely be a shootout with this UTSA team, and if they're not careful, Colorado State can win this game for sure. Digging deep.

Speaker: I like that. And then... My luck. is going to be... a team that I've picked. on our show lock it in for the last three weeks and they've won every time They were my...

Speaker: Long shot bet week one. They ended up winning that game in a blowout fashion. pick them Again. The last two weeks, they've won both times. This is a team that...

Speaker: Did not win a single game last year. In fact, they were... Coming into this season, they were 0 -16 in their last 16 games. oh Shit. I'm going to UMass. I'm going UMass. That's my luck.

Speaker: And you're locked! at Over a... Sacramento State team that just joined the FBS. And unlike North Dakota State. Does not look like they are ready for the FBS. So I'm going UMass to go 4 -0.

Speaker: Oof. Okay. I just want to everybody to know. AP picked his luck as UMass over... Sacramento State University. Remember a... Up shit.

Speaker: is only one point incorrect, two points correct. So. Also, by the way, it's not even an upset because UMass is favored. hey Oh.

Speaker: UMass is favored by four and a half. You messed this paper by four and a half. Oh, that was your lock. That was my lock. My upset was Colorado State beating UTSA. That's pretty crazy. All right. Dirty Mojo, who you got? So I'm going to go easy one here, the NFL, right? Because it's supposed to be the lot, right? The NFL, right?

Speaker: If you're not picking Kansas City to beat the Dolphins, then you're you something's wrong. You eat crayons. At this point, you you might as well just pick up a bowl of crayons and eat them. If you're not picking Kansas City Chiefs, I'm not picking them.

Speaker: um I don't have any crayons to eat. You got to go with Kansas City. My survivor league. I mean, you got to do that, guys. as If you're a Dolphins fan, if Rube is sitting there watching, listen, I'm sorry, buddy. I got to. You know what I'm saying? um But here's my here's my underdog win.

Speaker: That's going to kind of come out of. like what really damn that's really an underdog by this I'm taking Auburn over Vanderbilt. Now, I know we said 10 points. It's nine and a half.

Speaker: But if that at that Vanderbilt team. doesn't get some gift from NC State. This game is a lot closer, right, in the spread, right? There's no way. that a 2 -1 Vanderbilt is going to have a 10 -point. advantage over over the Auburn Tigers who lost to Florida who's now ranked. So... I got to go with Auburn going in there and beating Vanderbilt. Vanderbilt, you didn't look as good. You don't have Diego Pavia. The um...

Speaker: the ah The quarterback that they got now, I think he has four touchdowns and three. and He's not doing what they need to do. It's not the same. That young kid that came in there that's supposed to be the guy. It's not the same team. And you know why. I live there. It's not the same. You're right there, Omar. They're not so happy anymore. No way in hell. No way in hell.

Speaker: Vanderbilt should be favored over Auburn by damn near 10 points. Give me Auburn with the upset here.

Speaker: You know what? I'm not even mad at that because I'll agree with you. I live in Nashville, Tennessee. And ever since last season when Diego Pavia was not approved for a fifth year. of eligibility.

Speaker: Pretty much that the the excitement has... diminished very, very much. i haven't even gone to one game or one meeting yet because i'm like well what's the point y 'all ain't gonna be as good as y 'all were last year so why am i gonna waste my time Covering Young. Anyways. um all right cool so there we go those are our Picture of the week.

Speaker: Uh, upsets and locks all in. Let's move to final. Sacrifice. Trivia! Yes! The final game of the day. We move into our trivia.

Speaker: All right, let me bring my, hold on one second.

Speaker: Bring up my extra screen here. All right, so by the way, we have no... advanced, um, uh, you know, machinery here.

Speaker: So all I have to say is you're gonna have to yell out ah when you think you know it. So just say me. Or something. Whoever yells out first gets it. because we don't have Jeopardy buzzards, so I'm sorry.

Speaker: And I'm not trying to, uh... I'm really not trying to get in trouble. With Jeopardy either. we try to keep it all We don't have a budget on this show yet. We don't have a budget on the show yet.

Speaker: Thank you very much, my friend for. helping me there while I get this set up. If it would share the damn screen, please. There we go. all right Here we go.

Speaker: Our Jeopardy for the evening. Let me move this out of the way. All right. So again, If you know the answer, you yell out. We're going to start college football. Then we'll go to NFL 1 .2 .3 points.

Speaker: The final sacrifice is five. Points. We'll start with the one -pointer. Here we go. Which team holds the record for the longest winning streak in NCAA?

Speaker: division. One. history. Oklahoma. obamama

Speaker: Oklahoma is the correct answer. I didn't actually think you would know that, AP. Oh, I hear it all the time. I live in Norman now. I live in Norman. I hear it almost every day. I have to say. I have to say I also came up with that question before I knew you would be on the program because had I known, I would not have put that question on there because I guess that's too easy for you, but you get one point. Alright.

Speaker: College football, two points. What year was the forward pass legalized in college? Good. 19 -05. I'm going to tell you, okay, good guess. I'm going to tell you, it's before night. 10.

Speaker: ah about them. 1908. No. 1903.

Speaker: Nope. 1901, 1900. all right we're not going to do that yep that's it no one got it We were revealed 1906. The one we didn't say. Right, right.

Speaker: well i can't just let you keep guessing that wouldn't be fair All right. College football for three points. Which two teams played in the first college football game in 1869? Hmm, was it...

Speaker: Was it...

Speaker: Damn, was it a...

Speaker: I want to say... It's probably, ah it's I don't even remember. want to step one of the I want to say like Army versus... it's probably like an an a hold on i'm gonna give you all a hit because that's not fair hold on Kansas, Missouri? No, it's going to be like Army versus...

Speaker: Mm. Ugh. Damn. Like Brown, brown is it Yale versus Brown? is Isn't it like one of the - It's probably something old like that, yeah. like Like Harvard versus Yale or something like that, right? I feel bad because I had the questions. We'll see.

Speaker: All right, I'm gonna say Harvard. No, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. it Look at this. Big E teams. Two Big East teams. Think Big East basketball. I'll remember this. Two Big East teams.

Speaker: Me, I remember this. Go ahead. Rutgers and Princeton.

Speaker: Whoa! Let's go for three points. Hey, I think I gave him the hit when I said one of the Ivy League teams. Damn! you mean It was on the tip of my mind. wait you most stop like right he search on the good computer Now somebody was talking to me about this yesterday And I was like, ooh.

Speaker: Wow, great job. Princeton. I knew it was the Ivy League team. I thought it was one of the ah the the Naval Academy. Rutgers and Princeton. and princeton used to be called the college of new jersey at that point i didn't know that part Do they still play each other now? Like how do they not have like a rivalry game that they play each other every year? That should be something. I mean, Rutgers can't play anybody anymore. and yeah Wait, they don't have a team anymore? No, Rutgers can't play anybody anymore. They lost to freaking UMass.

Speaker: They lost to FUSC, too, so whatever. All right, NFL for one point. Which team won the first Super Bowl? Green Bay Packers. the packers Green Bay Packers Lamar, let's go.

Speaker: Great job there. over there but it has not no no possible deal with the NFL but team, with the good NFL teams. Stop that. Two point!

Speaker: Who hit on a sideline reporter doing a live broadcast? Meh.

Speaker: Yeah, I know who this is I just I thought everybody will remember this We'll drop everybody. No. But it's close. Think of a much older guy, a so former Super Bowl MVP.

Speaker: From the old age. is what I'll say. Joe Namath? Damn! I was about to say Joe Namath. Joe Namath. Joe Willie. the hell her name was at that point in time.

Speaker: Great job Good job there. sold Sold his soul so the Jets could win a Super Bowl. There you go. For three points! In the NFL. In what year was the first female referee ever featured in an NFL game? 2018.

Speaker: Not true. 2024. Nope. 2022. Nope. All right, let's go back a decade before. but One more get for everybody. Nope.

Speaker: Damn it. 2018. 17. Nope. Nope. Alright, everybody's wrong. 2012. Oh wow. Thomas. Wow. That was that far back. Okay. That's crazy. Not long. All right.

Speaker: And the final sacrifice. For five big points. And this is going to be a hard one. Very hard. Who was the youngest player ever selected in the first round of the NFL draft?

Speaker: It's recent It is recent, very recent. It's very recent. i um

Speaker: And I'll give you a hint. bo He was selected by the Houston Texans.

Speaker: He's an offensive lineman, right? Something like that. I will not confirm or deny.

Speaker: and it's res new Man, man. Fudge, what is his name? Very recent.

Speaker: Will Anderson? Nope. no good guess no He was one of the years like... Four months. So you got to think about he played like one year in college maybe. No, he played three because he got to play three, but he was a true freshman and he played at 17.
