Black Sabbath followed up their dark, bluesy debut album with a record that would change music forever. ‘Paranoid’ was the first out and out Heavy Metal album and cemented Black Sabbath as the masters and innovators of this new genre. Combining heavy music, dark lyrics, dissonant sounds and new approaches to the instruments, Sabbath showed the world just how heavy music could be.
