San Jose, California, 2012, multiple witnesses report seeing multiple different lights in the sky. The lights reportedly moved in unusual patterns.

Some describing them with abrupt changes of direction and hovering inconsistent with known typical aircraft. Witnesses also noted that the lights would suddenly dim, then reappear in a different part of the sky. This time, 2019, in Wilmington, North Carolina. A visitor claimed to have heard disembodied voices and saw a faint, misty figure moving down the hallway in an area known to be off-limit to visitors. The homeowner reported prior instances and anecdotes of unexplained cold spots and voices at night.

Divining Rods and Spirit Communication

00:01:42
Speaker
um Did you note that since Asian times, 1,000 watts, or divine watts, have been used to try and locate water,
00:01:53
Speaker
minerals, other gemstones, things like that. By the use of either a single Y-shaped rod or twig or two L-shaped rods like this. They cut this for many hundreds of years, probably thousands of years. It was actually banned by the Catholic Church in the 16th century because they linked it to occultism. After the First World War, and during the Vietnam War, rods were used to try and locate land mines and underground tunnels and things like that.
00:02:23
Speaker
And they've been using power null investigations for quite a long time. And there's mainly two ways they use them. People use them to try and find spirits to locate where spirits are. We also use them to try and communicate with spirits. And one of the most simple ways is using them to try and answer simple yes or no questions. So you use two, or you can just use one. It doesn't have to be two. And you simply ask yes or no questions And whichever way the rod moves means yes or no from what the spirit is answering you. And the way to find out which way is yes and which way is no is to simply ask the spirit. She would start, you'd warm up, you'd have your rod and you'd just say, spirit, can you put the rod into the position for yes? And it would turn like that, turn to the right.
00:03:17
Speaker
reset it and then say, can you tell me the position? And the answer is no, and then it will spin. I didn't actually do that one, I did the first one, I didn't do that one myself, but who knows. So yeah, so you can say you can do it with one, or you can do it with two and see which way you get. If you use two, apparently you can then go different ways like this, that would be a maybe. So maybe it's better to use two rather than one. So I always ask people that know that know us, that know me. We lead through spirits in this building. So with today's spirits, anybody you may have known, is there anybody that is in this building that lives through us, that is maybe not we know for sure are, so I'll leave that one with you. So a real practical tool you can use

So, day four.

Paranormal Investigation Tools

00:04:29
Speaker
This is a device called the Phoneticon. Now, this is something that isn't necessarily understood by many people. Our own podcast branded phonetic on courtesy of phantom physics.
00:04:46
Speaker
So this device uses a magnetic field in the local area to generate a word response when there's a change in the magnetic field. So you will see it's now searching for words. It has a word bank installed. Expect. Expect. It will say the word. It will show the word.
00:05:09
Speaker
And you can ask it questions whilst on a paranormal investigation and judge the responses for yourself. i I've had ah spectacular results from this. My advice is to ask relevant questions that you will know the answers to. Ask it specific stuff about yourself or about someone that you're with so that you can then verify the answers there and then.

UFO Sightings and Investigations

00:05:44
Speaker
Did you know? Day 5. It was a freezing early morning in St. Clair, Illinois, when Malvern Knoll, a 66-year-old miniature golf course owner, reported seeing a brightly lit object resembling a flying house with windows. He immediately called the police. And while Officer Ed Barton was initially skeptical, he soon spotted a massive triangular object with three white lights and one red light in the middle hovering a above.
00:06:13
Speaker
Notably, several other officers also saw the objects. Officer David Martin gave a similar description, noting the object's arrow shape. Officer Matt Jayne reported seeing a similar object, but described different light colors. Officer Craig Stevens reported a concave rear with additional lights and managed to take this polaroid photo of the lights. And he even noted a low frequency buzzing sound as well.
00:06:41
Speaker
The sighting led to a documentary on the edge of reality by Della Barker focusing on this sighting, but not everyone was convinced. Skeptic suggested it could be a blimp, although no flights were archived, and the object's movement didn't match normal blimp behavior. Interestingly, Scott Air Force Base nearby den denied tracking any radar data that night, sparking speculation of a potential cover-up. Distressments seized in written reports, mainly from Officer Jamie who noted a blinking green light,
00:07:10
Speaker
There's some doubt if they are also the same object, potentially just a conventional aircraft. But despite the skepticism, the multiple consistent testimonies from civilians and multiple law enforcement officers make this case one of the most intriguing UFO cases in the US history. What do you guys think about it?

19th Century Seances and Controversies

00:07:40
Speaker
Imagine a world where the veil between the living and the dead is as thin as a whisper. The 19th century saw the rise in seances, gatherings where people believed they could speak to spirits from the beyond.
00:07:51
Speaker
In this clip I'm going to explore the mystery, the intrigue and the chilling tales of these spiritual rituals. Our story begins in 1848 with two young sisters in the small farmhouse in Hidesville, New York. Margarita and Catherine Fox claimed they could hear knocking sounds in response to their questions, a spirit communicating from the other side.
00:08:12
Speaker
Word spread quickly and spiritualism was born. By the late 1800s, sรฉances had moved from rural farmhouses to grand pallets across the world, becoming a phenomenon of both belief and scepticism. The sรฉance was a structured ritual. Participants formed a circle, often holding hands to create a spiritual energy loop.
00:08:33
Speaker
A medium, the guide between worlds would enter a trance, channeling spirits through the words, movements or physical manifestations. Knocks on the table, cold breezes or even a movement of objects were seen as signs of spiritual presence. For believers, it was proof of life beyond death.
00:08:51
Speaker
for skeptics. It was an elaborate show. Not everyone was convinced. The great Harry Houdini, magician and skeptic, spent years exposing fraudulent mediums. He showed how string, magnets and even ventriloquism were often behind the mysterious phenomena.
00:09:08
Speaker
Yet for many, the belief in seances endured, driven by a desire to connect with loved ones, and the mysteries that defied explanation. Today, seances live on in popular culture, from the Ouija board to paranormal investigations. The idea of contacting the other side continues to fascinate.
00:09:25
Speaker
While science has yet to confirm these claims, the allure of a seance of bridging the gap between life and death remains eternal. Whether you believe in spirits or dismiss seances as theatre, one thing is certain, our desire to understand the unknown is as timeless as the stars. Perhaps it's not about finding answers, but about daring to ask the question. Is anyone there?

UFOs and Public Perception

00:10:00
Speaker
you know? Day 7. On January 7, 1948, Captain Tom Mantell, a Kentucky Air National Guard, was flying his P-51 Mustang as he and three other Mustang pilots were directed to intercept a huge round white object, perhaps the size of a football field. Multiple witnesses from across Ohio and Kentucky, including a sergeant at the Fort Knox Control Tower and members of the Kentucky Highway Patrol, had reported deciding to military air control.
00:10:30
Speaker
When the other fighter planes turned away from the pursuit due to low fuel or low oxygen, needed for these high altitudes over 20,000 feet, Mantell continued to climb after the object, describing it as of tremendous size. Air traffic controls who heard him are in disagreement about the actual wording, but it was big either way. Mantell's fighter then began an uncontrolled spin all the way back to the ground where it crashed, killing the pilot.
00:10:58
Speaker
The most likely reason for this crash is that Mantell passed out from lack of oxygen but nobody knows for sure. Since this incident was witnessed by so many credible people with multiple pilots actually chasing this UFO and the military personnel on the ground and highway patrol personnel and since the ultimate resulted in the loss of a fighter plane and its pilot, this encounter changed the public's perception of UFO reports. What was this object that these were chasing? Is this a pilot that was killed in a UFO pursuit? Maybe we'll never know. What do you guys think?

farmer working outside on his farm near Trans-en-Provence in France was alerted by a loud whistling noise and watched in amazement as the UFO landed in a field about 150 feet away. He later described the UFO as looking like two saucers on top of each other and being a bit over two meters in diameter. The farmer reported the UFO landed only briefly when they took off. He said they could see some sort of devices under the UFO extending several inches from the bottom.
00:12:20
Speaker
Police examined the scene, took samples and also notified government space authorities. The remarkable thing about this incident was the rare physical evidence left behind. Burn marks on the ground and compacting of soil were verified by GEIPAN, an investigative unit of the French Space Agency.
00:12:40
Speaker
as were trace elements not expected to be found there. It was determined that the burn marks were caused by a temperature of 300 to 600 degrees Celsius, and that the ground was compacted by at least four tons of force. As with virtually all UFO reports, this one has its champion and its skeptics. A major fault critics see with the incident is that only the farmer witnessed the event. The farmer himself thinks the object was some sort of military secret device, as a military installation was located near the scene.
00:13:11
Speaker
There is the physical evidence.

Cultural Fascination with Spirit Communication

Speaker
did you know day nine um this day way back in sixteen forty six the battle of bovi heath Heath just outside of Bobbie Tracey, a E minor square list towards the end of the English Civil War. History tells us that the parliamentary forces under the the command of Fairfax were besieging the Royalists who were trying to keep hold of the city of Exeter. Meanwhile, a bit further south, near to Bobbie Tracey, other Royalist troops and cavalry were preparing to come to the aid of their comrades.
00:13:54
Speaker
Hearing of this plan, Fairfax sent Oliver Coral himself to deal with the threat of reinforcements. They came upon their embankment and Bobby Heath under the cover of darkness, causing the soldiers there to flee into the night. But what does this have to do with the paranormal?
00:14:15
Speaker
Legend has it that if you venture out onto the heath itself, especially on the 9th of January, around the time when the python took place, you may actually witness a reenactment of the event in the nearby built-up residential area. Some reports state that silver wall cavaliers, complete with plumed hat and drawn swords, have been seen running out of the trees behind houses, to then promptly disappear back into the woods, never to be seen again.
00:14:43
Speaker
But is there any truth to these stories of Civil War soldiers and fights happening in the Heath? Well, if you're in the area, why not head out there tonight and anniversary the battle and see what you can find.

Founded by the spiritualism movement of the late 19th century, the Ouija board was painted it by Elijah Bond in 1890 as a talking board. communicating with spirits. William Ford took over a production and popularised the name Ouija, which, according to legend, was spelled out by the board itself. Other theories suggest it was from the French and German words for yes. Families used it as a parlour game, while believers viewed it as a true means to contact the beyond. Over time, media hype and horror films bolstered its eerie reputation. Whether considered a portal to the unknown,
00:15:36
Speaker
or just the product of subtle psychology, the Ouija board remains a cultural phenomenon that continues to fascinate, and sometimes frighten people around the world.

eleven words of day ahport and as part According to Colin's dictionary, a port is defined as the production of objects by apparently supernatural means at a spirit lattice and seance. Although more commonly used nowadays to describe an object seemingly to just appear out of nowhere. The first recorded use was in 1708 with a rise in popularity in the late 18th century and rising more recently from around 1910 onwards to the past hundred years or so.
00:16:32
Speaker
Similarly, Asport, not Asport, as defined by Collins, is the phenomena of the vanishing or removal of objects by a spirit and the subsequent reappearance in another location. We've all had those moments when we know we've put something down in a particular place, then we find it elsewhere after briefly looking for it. Is this the spirits playing with us?

Parapsychologists have theorized that psychic energy, sometimes linked to adolescent stress, could be behind the disturbances. Skeptics, however, argue that hoaxes, exaggerations, or natural causes explain most cases. Despite the debate, Polkais' stories remain a staple of paranormal law, continuing to captivate believers while challenging researchersers who who seek rational explanations.

International UFO Incidents

00:18:18
Speaker
The Virginia UFO incident, often called Brazil's Roswell, took place on this day, 13th January and ninety ninety six in in Virginia, Brazil. Starting with locals reporting your false sightings, including a cigar-shaped object flying erratically, possibly malfunctioning and maybe be crashing, witnesses also claim to see military and fire officials in the area yeah allegedly capturing at least one humanoid creature and taking it to a local hospital before transferring it to military facilities.
00:18:48
Speaker
Some reports suggest that a military officer, Marco Elisires, came into contact with the creature and later died from a fast spreading infection, adding to the mystery. A week later, on the 20th of January 1996, three young women claimed to encounter a strange creature in a vacant lot.
00:19:07
Speaker
They described it as about four to five feet tall, with a large head, oily brown skin, red designed forehead and big red eyes. It appeared fragile, frightened and emitted a strong ammonia-like smell. Terrified, the girls fled and shared their experience which quickly gained media attention.
00:19:28
Speaker
The Brazilian military denied these claims, saying that the girls likely mistook a deformed homeless man for an alien. Skeptics argue the story grew from hysteria and misidentifications, however witness accounts, lead reports and rumours of US involvement have fuelled conspiracy theories with many suspecting a government cover-up. Despite no concrete evidence,
00:19:53

The Virginia incident remains a cornerstone of UFO law captivating believers and skeptics alike as one of the most compelling cases of potential extraterrestrial contact.

Late August 1977. Peggy Hodgson, a single mother living in a North London council house, first notices strange knocking sounds and her children's beds shaking. Alarmed, Peggy calls the police on August 31st. A police officer reportedly witnesses a chair slide across the floor but cannot find any natural causes.
00:20:31
Speaker
I came off the floor, or maybe a half inch, I should say, and I saw it slide off to the right, about three and a half to four feet, before it came to rest. um I checked to see whether or not it could possibly have stood along the floor. I placed a marble on the floor to see whether the marble would um go in the same direction as the chair did and it didn't, it didn't roll at all. um I checked for wires under the cushion of the chair and I could find no explanation at all.

early September 1977. Journalists from the Daily Mirror pay a visit to investigate the story. They too claim to witness objects flying across the room. Morris Gross, a paranormal investigator from the Society for Psychical Research, begins to look into the case. He sets up reporting equipment and observes unusual activity mid-September 1977. Gross is joined by fellow SPR researcher Guy Lyon-Playfair. Together, they document eerie occurrences, including furniture moving on its own and disembodied voices seeming to come from 11-year-old Janet Hodgson.
00:21:39
Speaker
Janet reportedly starts speaking in a deep, gravelly voice claiming to be someone called Bill Wilkins, a man who allegedly died in the house years earlier. I'm invisible. You're invisible? Why are you invisible?
00:21:59
Speaker
So much you. H-O-S-T. Autumn, 1977. As word spreads, reporters, neighbours and visitors attest to seeing objects hurled through the air. Janet is famously said to levitate, with witnesses claiming to see her rise from her bed. Gross and playfair amass hours of audio tapes, capturing strange knocks, voices and other unexplained sounds, fuelling media interest and public curiosity.

late 1977 to early 1978. Newspapers and television outlets begin covering the story extensively. Skeptic suggests the children may be faking the events for attention while investigators maintain there is genuine paranormal activity. Janet's alleged Bill Wilkins voice grows stronger with extended sessions recorded by the investigators. Throughout 1978,
00:22:59
Speaker
Reports of the Enfield Holocaust begin circulating outside of the UK. Some foreign TV crews, investigators visit the Hodgson home. Magicians, scientists and journalists attempt to explain the phenomena via trickery or psychological factors, highlighting moments where Jan is caught bending spoons or other questionable episodes.

late 1978 to 1979. The most dramatic activity subsides towards the end of 1978. By 1979, reported incidents become sporadic and eventually stop.
00:23:34
Speaker
Morris Gross and Guy Lyon Playfair released their findings, arguing for a paranormal explanation. Skeptics remain unconvinced, attributing the events to Pranks and the post-1979. Hodgson's family eventually leaves the property, though Peggy stays there until her death in 2003. The debate over what really happened in Enfield continues. What do you think?

Did you know? Day 17. Born on this day, 17th January 1881, Harry Price was a British psychic researcher and author who gained public prominence for his investigations into psychical phenomena and exposing fraudulent spiritualist mediums. He is best known for his well-publicised investigation of the purportedly haunted Bawley Rectory in Essex, England.
00:27:26
Speaker
Price joined the Society for Psychical Research, SPR, back in 1920. He used the knowledge of conjuring to debunk fraudulent mediums, but unlike other magicians, Price endorsed some mediums that he believed were genuine. Price's first major success in psychical research came in 1922 when he exposed the spirit photographer, William Hope.
00:27:54
Speaker
In July 1935, Price and his friend Richard Lambert went to the Isle of Man to investigate the alleged case of Jeff the Tonky Mongoose, concluding that only the most credulous of individuals would be impressed with the evidence for Jeff. Price died of a massive heart attack in March 1948, but his legacy lives on in a number of documentaries, films and TV shows featuring him and his work.

Historical Paranormal Events

00:28:28
Speaker
Last 1st 1639, John Winthrop opened his diary in which he recorded the trials and trials of his fellow Puritans as they made a new life in America. As governor of the Massachusetts Bay Colony put pen to paper, he began to account a most unusual event that had recently caused a stir among the English immigrants.
00:28:47
Speaker
Winthrop wrote that earlier in the year James Everill, a sober discreet man, and two others had been rowing a boat in a muddy river which flowed through Swampland and then pitted into the tidal basin in the Charles River when they saw a great light in the night sky. When it stood still, it flamed up and was about three yards square, the Governor reported. When it ran, it was contracted into the figure of a swine.
00:29:13
Speaker
Over the course of two to three hours, the boatmen said that the mysterious light ran as swift as an arrow, darting back and forth between them, and the village of Charleston, a distance of approximately two miles. Diverse other, credible persons saw the same light after, about the same place Winthrop added.
00:29:33
Speaker
The governor wrote that when the strange apparition finally faded away, the three Puritans in the boat were stunned to find themselves one mile upstream, as if they had been transported. The men had no memory of the rowing against the tide, although it is possible that they could have been carried by the wind or a reverse tidal flow. The mysterious repositioning of the boat could suggest that they were unaware of their part of the experience.
00:29:57
Speaker
Some researchers would interpret this as possible alien abduction if it had happened today, wrote Jack Verlais and Chris Orbeck. What do you think?
00:30:15
Speaker
Did you know? Day 19. The Holly Hotel in Holly, Michigan, built in 1891, has been a hotbed of paranormal activity ever since. Guests report seeing apparitions and shadow figures, hearing strange noises, bangs and even music seemingly coming from nowhere, as well as being touched and seeing objects move on their own. That's not the reason this hotel is so notable. On this day, January 19th in 1913, the Holy Hotel burnt down.
00:30:48
Speaker
That happens, buildings burn down, fair enough. However, on this day, January 19th in 1978, 65 years later to the day, the Holy Hotel burnt down again, with the fire actually starting during the same hour as the first time it burnt down 65 years earlier. But that's not all. In June 22,
00:31:14
Speaker
3rd century the hotel being in existence and no other fire destroyed a large part of the hotel. Is this the spirits present at the hotel within the message? Would you risk staying there?

Scientific Skepticism of Paranormal Claims

Curlian photography, named after Semyon Curlian. Is it a controversial technique to photograph a person's aura? Or is it something more normal? Curlion photography, first discovered by Semyon Curlion in 1939, is a technique that uses high-voltage electricity to produce images showing a luminous outline, often called an aura, around objects, including living things. It involves placing the subject on a metal plate connected to a high-voltage source caused an electrical discharge that's captured on film or photographic paper.
00:32:02
Speaker
Opponents say the variations in these glowing outlines can reveal health or emotional states, leading to claims of diagnostic and healing applications. However, most scientists attribute the effect to natural factors like moisture, electrical conductivity and air pressure, none of which point to a mystical energy.
00:32:21
Speaker
Despite scientific scepticism, curly and photography continues to fascinate artists, researchers and spiritual seekers alike, serving as a bridge between creative exploration and the quest to document unseen supernatural aspects of life. Is this paranormal?

UFO experts say that the UFO depicted in this image, which looks like the Millennium Falcon from Star Wars, could indeed be from a fire-flung galaxy. In a village of Brandon, northeast of Bishop's Auckland County, Darwin, England in 2017, Christine Islinda noticed a bright object in the sky and decided to capture it in photo form on her iPhone.
00:34:39
Speaker
From that date, UFO enthusiasts and experts have poured over the image, trying to figure out if it's indeed extraterrestrial in origin. Although on the surface this photo doesn't look like much, and it has been enlarged, it almost looks like a Millennium Falcon spaceship. From Star Wars, said Philip Mantle, who formerly headed the British UFO Research Association, and who consulted with other alien experts in probing a supposed UFO encounter.
00:35:06
Speaker
After this witness description, you have to label this as a genuine UFO. Christine 63, who encountered the UFO, said she first assumed it was a helicopter. Upon further inspection, however, she said that the captured image was much different from what she could see with the naked eye. It was blinding, looking at it directly. It looked like a very brilliant white star to the naked eye, she said.
00:35:31
Speaker
and thought it may be a helicopter at first, but there was no sound. Seconds after taking the photo, the object shot straight up and then disappeared before I could get another photo. The picture shows something quite different than what my eyes saw. She said she was amazed to see a likeness of a Millennium Falcon when she enlarged the photo. Kraft first appeared in the original Star Wars film in 1977 and also appeared in The Empire Strikes Back, The Turn of the Jedi, The Force Awakens, and The Last Jedi.
00:36:01
Speaker
What do you think it is? Is it styles or something a bit more prosaic?

Legal Precedents and Paranormal Testimonies

00:36:28
Speaker
Did you know, day 23? On this day, January 23rd, 1897, the body of 24-year-old Zona Hester was found dead in Greenbrier County, West Virginia. Her death was originally ruled as natural causes. However, Zona's mother prayed every day, and after a month, the ghost of Zona appeared to her in the vision, telling her mother that he was her husband, who had killed her by breaking the neck.
00:36:59
Speaker
and in the vision, Zona's head to the full 360 turn kind of emphasised in that fact. On this information, Zona's mother pled for the prosecutor to investigate the case again, which they did, and they did find that Zona's neck had been broken. The Erasmus was arrested and went to trial, and the court believed that the ghost of Zona had told him of the truth, and the Erasmus was found guilty of her murder and imprisoned.
00:37:27

This is an incredible true story of the testimony of a ghost leading to a murder conviction.

Symbolism and Misunderstandings in Mysticism

00:37:44
Speaker
A pentagram is one of the most iconic symbols of the occult, steeped in mystery and power. With its five points representing the elements, earth, air, fire, water and spirit, it symbolizes balance and harmony in the universe. Upright is a protective cycle, aligning spirit above the material world, often used in rituals for banishing negativity or invoking energies.
00:38:09
Speaker
Inverted is associated with rebellion and individualism, predominantly used in modern Satanism. Found in ancient alchemy, ceremonial magic and wicker, it's a gateway between realms and a focus for energy. Misunderstood as evil in pop culture, the pentagram's true meaning is far deeper, a timeless tool of transformation and connection. What do you think?
00:38:48

Did you know Day 25, Red of the day is ectoplasm. In the context of spiritualism, ectoplasm is described as a material or spiritual energy said to be formed by physical mediums when in a trance state. This material is excreted as a gauze-like substance from orifices on the medium's body and spiritual entities are said to drape this substance over their non-physical body, labelling them to interact in the real world.
00:39:17
Speaker
The term was introduced in 1894 by Charles B. Shay, a psychical researcher. While the concept has gained significant traction in popular culture, there is no scientific proof to support the existence of ectoplasm. Also, numerous alleged instances of ectoplasm have been debunked as hoaxes, with many being fabricated from carbon substances. One of the more well-known hoaxes is a lady called Helen Duncan.

With degrees in physics and electronics from MIT and Caltech, he has dabbled at everything from chemistry to fireworks in an effort to understand the finer voice of propulsion.

He has even assembled a jet car with a 22,000 horsepower engine salvaged from Navy F3D's Skynight that is capable of land speeds of over 350 miles per hour. Fate took a serious turn for Bob in 1982. Arriving early for a lecture at Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico given by Dr. Edward Teller, one of the inventors of the atomic bomb, Bob was able to meet and talk to the famous physicist.

Coincidentally, Dr. Teller was reading the local paper, the monitor, with a featured front page article on Bob, and the two struck up a conversation. Later, Bob sent Dr. Teller his resume for consideration, and soon after, Bob was hired by the Los Alamos National Laboratory. This Los Alamos-based directory lists Bob as an employee.

By 1989, Bob was brought into the top-secret program at S4, known as Project Galileo. In the following interview, Bob reveals many details of this amazing experience.

Did you witness any disc technology at Area 51? No. There was no... Absolutely no ET craft, ET technology, anything like that at Area 51. This is why S4 was made specifically to separate it there. People at Area 51 do not have the clearance. How long were you employed at S4 and when were you hired?
00:42:54
Speaker
When was I hired at S4? I guess early 1989 and I was probably there only about six months or so. In 1989 he came forward with explosive claims about working at a secret facility called S4 near the infamous Area 51 in Nevada. According to Lazar, his job was to reverse engineer alien spacecraft. These were attempts to understand their advanced technology.

He describes the nine extraterrestrial crafts and detailed their propulsion systems, which he said used a mysterious element, called element 115, to bend space and time, enabling interstellar travel. At that particular time, element 115 had not yet been synthesized, adding injury to his claims.

Weirdly, now it does exist. Skeptics, however, argue that Lazar fabricated much of his story. His academic records from institutes like MIT and Caltech cannot be verified, and his employment at Los Alamos National Lab is disputed, despite a phone record directory listing him there. Yet, Lazar stuck to his story for over three decades despite ridicule and personal risk. His revelations ignited worldwide interest in UFOs and government secrecy, influencing modern discussions on alien technology.

Whether truth or elaborate hoax, Lazar's story continues to captivate and divide audiences, leaving us to wonder, is he a whistleblower or is he a master storyteller?

Did you know, day 27, fan footage is a cinematic technique in which all or a major part of the work is presented as if it were film or video recordings recorded by characters in the story and later found and presented to the audience as the real thing. The events on screen are typically seen through the camera of one or more of the characters involved after accompanied by their real-time off-camera commentary.

the genre was popularised by the 1999 release of the Blair Witch Project and its brilliant viral marketing, leading to many people thinking the events actually happened. It's a very popular ah type of film in the paranormal industry, horror movies, UFO movies, and it's under Blair Witch, followed by the likes of Paranormal Activity,

Cloverfield as a style of filming remains popular, especially with filmmakers due to the commonly need much less budget than a fully shot feature movie. My personal favourite is 1989's The Macpherson tape, also known as Incidentally Late County, showing an alien invasion abduction during a family birthday. What's your favourite Far Footage movie? Tell us in the comments.

Just because there is a conspiracy theory about a tragic event doesn't mean it's always true. This is a dark video content, so please be aware of this as a trigger warning. Our condolences to all the families who were affected by the following. 39 years ago today, on January 28th, 1986, the Space Shuttle Challenger tragically disintegrated 73 seconds after liftoff, resulting in a loss of all seven crew members.

Despite intensive investigations confirming the accident's cause, which was a failure of an O-ring seal on the right solid rocket booster, ridiculous conspiracy theories have emerged suggesting that some crew members survived and assumed new identities. Proponents point to individuals with similar names and appearances,

such as Richard Scobee, leading a market firm, and Judith Resnick, teaching at Yale University. However, these claims lack credible evidence and often rely on superficial resemblances. The persistence of such theories highlights a human tendency to seek alternative explanations for traumatic events, even when official accounts are well substantiated.
00:46:48
Speaker
There is absolutely no logical reason that this would have happened, as per the conspiracy, as it made no sense at all and set NASA back in terms of space advancement. It is essential to approach these narratives critically, recognising that coincidences in names or appearances do not constitute proof of an elaborate cover-up. The challenge of disaster remains a somber reminder of the inherent risks in space exploration and the importance of rigorous safety protocols.

Do not always believe a conspiracy theory unless you look into it yourself. Did you know?

Technology in Paranormal Investigations

Day 29. Let's take a look at EMF meters. Electromagnetic field meters are commonly used in paranormal investigations to detect fluctuations in electromagnetic fields, which some investigators believe may indicate the presence of supernatural entities. Whilst there's no scientific proof linking EMF fluctuations to ghosts, many paranormal researchers use these devices based on the theory that spirits can manipulate or generate electromagnetic energy. Some gold hunters use EMF meters as a form of communication, hacking spirits to manipulate the device in response to questions such as if you are here make the meter spike and also some use it as a way of tracking movement
00:48:05
Speaker
put in many yeah EMF meters in different locations and tracking the movement patterns of any fluctuations or unexplained movements across different rooms. Like many tools in the paranormal, you should be using different devices to capture the same anomaly across as many of these different devices as you can to be able to use it as any sort of evidence. Do you use EMF meters in your investigations you find them useful? Do you think they can prove the evidence of ghosts? Let us know in the comments.

It's the full decade before the Blair Witch Project. The MacFernson tape is likely to be the original film for each horror film. It's lo-fi, raw aesthetic and realistic performances make it a pioneer and entry into the genre long before film footage became mainstream horror staple.

Did you know Day 31? Lorraine Warren was born on this day, January 31st, back in 1927. She was an American paranormal investigator and clairvoyant, best known for her work alongside her husband, Ed Warren.

Together, they founded the New England Society for Psychic Research, NESPA, in 1952, making them two of the most well-known panel investigators in modern history. Lorraine believed that she could sense and communicate with spirits, and investigated thousands of alleged hauntings, many of which inspired books and films, such as the and the Perron Family Haunting,

which is inspired the Conjuring films, the famous films, as well as the popular British case of the Enfield Haunting. Despite their fame, the Warrens faced scepticism, the critics arguing that their investigations lacked scientific credibility. Nonetheless, Lorraine Warren remained active panel in paranormal research until her passing in 2019, leaving behind a legacy that continues to influence cult hunters and paranormal enthusiasts worldwide.
