Jarrod Dyke: I got screwed by a couple of things, so I am, yep, I'm out. I lost to Luke and Alex B. Duncan.
Jarrod Dyke: Bat K lost to George. George, as of right now, has 219 points.

Jarrod Dyke: but Let me look. Radwan, Malin's, Brown Bambo didn't help. Jack Bracken, um Lawrence Bellow. Archie McParlin, CCS wasn't great, but Tom Willis, Ollie Chesom, Baxter, and Dweba.
Jarrod Dyke: Yeah, that that's a team right there. and i And I put in for Bracken too, hoping I'd get him. I'm not sure what to save my week, but damn.

Jarrod Dyke: So. We don't need to update Super Brew stuff yet because they are still processing stuff, so we're not going to bother with that, although we can tell you what the results are from the week before in a second.

Grumpy Old Prop: ah but most impressively by Tom O'Flaherty's.78 points on the day.
Jarrod Dyke: Yeah.
Grumpy Old Prop: But when you have Bello, had Bello, he had Arendelle, only had 15 points.
Jarrod Dyke: Sanderson, stop picking him.
Grumpy Old Prop: That's odd. um Vincent...
Jarrod Dyke: yeah it's That makes sense. he He didn't get loose that much. He just scored. Yeah,

Grumpy Old Prop: mike Yeah, i was kind of fucked because Martin didn't do much. Neither did Dan John. But like Malin's Hutchinson.

Grumpy Old Prop: And then that was really it for my point scores. Everyone else ate poop.
Jarrod Dyke: yeah right yeah um right so without getting too into it because we don't know the results of this past week but we can tell you that the standings from the previous week for super brew um we do have 14 participants so everyone right now will score
Grumpy Old Prop: Even though Harle had a try, he only had five, little over five points. So unhelpful.
Grumpy Old Prop: Mm hmm.
Jarrod Dyke: Um, hold up. The bottom is, is Franco. Although I'm not all that much in front of him. And I think I had a blunder this week and forgot to set my line up. so he's going to jump me probably this week.
Grumpy Old Prop: Oh, yeah, that looks poor.
Jarrod Dyke: Um, Matt K then Matt K Rob, um, Luke, Ben, Duncan, George, Mark, um, Stu,
Jarrod Dyke: then who's this again? Oh, calm. God damn it, guys. You're killing me over here. And then Matt tea Paul, and then leading leading the front is Alex, who fucking made life hard on everyone last year in this competition. of forever break No, actually, that Mark. Never mind.
Jarrod Dyke: It's right there. It's right there in front of you, Jared. The fuck is wrong with you? oh But anyway, so obviously those two Results will get jumbled up this week after Super Bowl finalized their stuff.
Jarrod Dyke: That's probably the one downside of us doing this on a Sunday is is that.
Grumpy Old Prop: although it looks yeah it does look like alex is at the moment the the clubhouse leaderboard again this week too so
Jarrod Dyke: but
Jarrod Dyke: Solid. Yeah, we'll see. I think this this coming week will be interesting when ah when a lot of the internationals and Lions return.

Grumpy Old Prop: I mean, George Ford. Yes, obviously. i don't know. I honestly don't know who else to pick for like this is the thing where where sale just don't don't score that many points or like they're so.
Grumpy Old Prop: Like. It's rare when their individual players score a lot um and it's, you know,
Jarrod Dyke: Yeah, um probably up front. and
Grumpy Old Prop: maybe up front yeah the top that that that front row i just don't yeah and then there's on the other side newcastle who
Grumpy Old Prop: they have a couple of guys are scoring okay but sales of very good defense at home especially at home i just i can't recommend any of them except you know again in in the draft format hurl um might be untake outable for me just because

Jarrod Dyke: yeah um um i have bristol against exeter uh so we're expecting geng to be back you'll be starting you're playing him if you picked him in super real you spent the money you're playing him don't be don't screw around um batley in any format yes um mata in any format yes uh fitz harding if he's back don't think he'll be back this week but if he is then yep thumbs up um

Jarrod Dyke: And then like for the backs, like I'm concerned, uh, number one, i don't know who's go to play in the back three because nobody does right now. i'm not sure Pat Lamb does, um, Revalvo and, and Rens, Ben Rensberg are definitive guesses.
Jarrod Dyke: I think they'll see the ball enough. So they'll be viable.
Grumpy Old Prop: Not
Jarrod Dyke: And then maybe a Grandana in the back row. Um, Marmy in, in draft format is perfectly fine. But other than that, like props that aren't Genji, um,
Jarrod Dyke: locks that aren't badly and any right now. I don't, I wouldn't trust any of this back three. You know, they, you need, this is going to be it you need to show it to me type of situation.
Grumpy Old Prop: not right now, no.
Jarrod Dyke: And that's just, that's just where we're at. Um, yeah. And whoever plays 10, like, don't get, don't get cute. Stay right the hell away from that. Um, for Exeter, um,
Jarrod Dyke: So plenty up front to pick from Dweba, Fisilau, Vincent. Yep, you're going to play them. You'll play Slade because, especially in draft formats, because he gets the he gets the points off the tee.
Jarrod Dyke: Brown, Bampo, and Faye will both create their own space usually, so they're they're fine.
Grumpy Old Prop: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Jarrod Dyke: Barney in draft formats hasn't been terrible. um We might see Lenny Kitau suit up for them this week. If if he does, I would go draft format only. i wouldn't go spend the money in Superbrew just yet.
Jarrod Dyke: Um, this is one of those like, yeah, let's see if we can actually do it. Comment slash. Let's see if they can find him some space. Cause you know, um, and then sits that are likely to be popular, semi-popular Daffy roots and Skinner.
Grumpy Old Prop: right, on to Franklin's Gardens with ah Northampton hosting Leicester.
Jarrod Dyke: Mm.
Grumpy Old Prop: Potentially very solid match, um but points on offer both ways. Saints still, their defense is poop, so um but they're also their attack is like the opposite of poop.
Grumpy Old Prop: And then they're obviously getting some players back. um It's like, we'll get Freeman, Finn. Is Sleight this list? Or what's what's, is he just injured?
Jarrod Dyke: I think he's banged up.
Grumpy Old Prop: ah Which is a shame. But Hendy's been great too. um Obviously Pollock, this means Pollock is back. I don't know what that's going to do for Pearson.
Jarrod Dyke: Yep, right.
Grumpy Old Prop: um Obviously my press my preference would be ah
Jarrod Dyke: Might be good, might be bad. Hmm.
Grumpy Old Prop: ah uh, Pearson Pollock and check at six, uh, back back row, but that's just me. And I'll never get that because I ah really want to see it.
Jarrod Dyke: Right. Mm-hmm.
Grumpy Old Prop: Um, butops so no, they won't let me see it. Um, on the Lester side, this is the problem now. Cause they're, ah this might over overwhelm their back row, which is still also, you know, like gloss or not, not quite the strongest.
Grumpy Old Prop: Um, And then we'll see what happens with their 10. If Bailey just needed to pull out for one match or is it a long-term thing? if it's a longer-term thing, I don't think James O'Connor is going to be a great option as a full-time 10. And rushing him right back, that's going to be hard.
Grumpy Old Prop: So then um if it's still surled, that doesn't really kill Lester, but at the same time, it's know one less attacking threat.
Grumpy Old Prop: Still a decent distributor, but Those those wings are still going to get points. So go there. I think it kind of hurts Stewart, if anybody.
Jarrod Dyke: Yeah, we'll see how that goes. Slateholm was due to play in the Prem Cup game against the Saracens and had an injury setback. so that that So he may be back soon-ish in that case, but it I don't know if it'll be this week.
Grumpy Old Prop: Right, but I'm not going to. Yeah, and they don't quite need him at this point because Todoro has been ridiculous
Jarrod Dyke: He's been playing well.
Grumpy Old Prop: And then if you have Freeman too, that's just, yeah, you're fine.
Jarrod Dyke: Yeah, you're in good shape. He'll be in good shape.
Grumpy Old Prop: you like slides We'll see you in a few weeks. Just get healthy. When you're 100%, then you can get back on the field.
Jarrod Dyke: Yeah, concentrate on that for sure. All right.

Jarrod Dyke: um
Grumpy Old Prop: We don't need you at 85, 90% and re-injuring it. and reinjuring it
Jarrod Dyke: Yeah. No, no. Bath Gloucester. For Bath. Funny champs. um So, I'm assuming he's not banged up or anything. Thomas Dutois will return i have he's in that lineup.
Jarrod Dyke: if he's on the bench and you have him in either format, you might still consider throwing him in there. Just, you know, he's been good both, both ways. So keep that in mind.

Jarrod Dyke: Tom Dunn is fine in either format. We might see the return to Finn Russell. If he is, yes, thumbs up. Redpath Lawrence, fine. um Arendelle, Coca, yep.
Jarrod Dyke: So any problems, not Thomas Dutour, draft only, but yes, go ahead. um Any, like, basically any back rower hill pepper reed uh barbary bayless like any back rower pretty much you can probably consider them draft format viable but it's tough to pick on super brew because they don't always play week to week this week this i think the last two weeks were the exception that's you know bankran likes to rotate them quite often um probably just

Grumpy Old Prop: They're so good, you can't not. You can't not. Which it makes them like, like makes them so non valuable in Super Brew.

Jarrod Dyke: i think it's Honestly, I think it's lucky that Kutzee is hurt. Otherwise, we might have seen a rotation this week.
Grumpy Old Prop: Right. Yeah, it makes me pine for TRM even more.
Jarrod Dyke: Oh,
Grumpy Old Prop: One of those you can see, you can save like 30 guys on your team if you want.
Jarrod Dyke: yeah, truth.
Grumpy Old Prop: That'd be perfect.
Jarrod Dyke: um But yeah, any back row, guess. ah who Ben Spencer might be relegated to sits, but you can try it one week because he's no longer going to be getting those kicking points.

Jarrod Dyke: um And I would start to shy away from Tom DeGlambeau because I'm not sure when all are available, he gets into this team. Um, and then either lock, just doesn't matter who it is.
Jarrod Dyke: Quite honestly, don't blame him. Run very fast. The other direction for the gloss driven, um, for Sogbon.
Grumpy Old Prop: Right. um
Jarrod Dyke: Yes. In either format, uh, Alomano Thomas. Yep. Um, Williams. Yeah. Thomas Williams, uh, Seb Atkinson, uh, If we see Cluelen back, yes.
Jarrod Dyke: Otherwise, i you know I don't think I'd play him in Superbrew because I'm not sure he's going stay healthy. But yeah, well, Joseph in draft formats, go for it.
Grumpy Old Prop: ah
Jarrod Dyke: um ah You know, either Gloucester Hooker, one of the three in draft formats, yes. Arthur Clarke, same. um Clement's the only one I really want in draft if he's healthy.
Jarrod Dyke: um Burns, a draft-only guy as well. I prefer over Thorley in draft formats, but I'd play either one of them. That's fine. um yeah and again I'd caution anybody that's not Clement to when you're starting them like especially against Bath like this could be a problematic so just ah set expectations very low if you're going to play someone that's not him okay yeah especially them
Grumpy Old Prop: all right, off to the stoop. Quinn's size for Quinn's. You're going to want to stay away from their forwards entirely. Like, really, their type five have not been terribly friendly of late.
Grumpy Old Prop: um But then with Saris, they just... deep, they just crush the opposition forwards, nothing else. So ah from a fanyy fantasy perspective. So, you know, if you've been relying on Dom, Will Evans, Kenningham, if you've been relying on him, you've got problems anyway, um you know, outside a draft format.
Grumpy Old Prop: But yeah, not not this week. But yeah, look for the backs because, again, there's going to be gaps. salaries aren't like the perfect defense right now, um and especially the Quinns do have a fantastic attack, and especially once Marcus comes back, it's going to be that much more of a threat.
Grumpy Old Prop: um And Merle, too. So, right, if if I'm not mistaken on that.
Jarrod Dyke: He should. I think he'll be healthy this week, yeah.
Grumpy Old Prop: So that that would be a good ah you know double bonus for Quinns there. So we'll have to see what you know which which of them play. ah Obviously, Marcus will, oh we would assume, and then um, for the Saracen side, the defense for, for Quinns will still give up points. So, um, you know, whoever that hooker, if it's Jamie George, yeah, you can probably rely because on him, especially in in a draft format. He'll, you know, either him or Theo Dan, it's almost like a, a handcuff.
Grumpy Old Prop: Um, like you'd see in like, uh, running back stables where you want the guy plus his backup, just in case one's hurt or one starts, you just throw them in there.
Jarrod Dyke: Yeah.
Grumpy Old Prop: Um,
Grumpy Old Prop: Morrow, obviously much more in draft format, I think, than in Super Brew just because of the the cost that he is. I don't think he the the points are quite the return on investment there.
Jarrod Dyke: yeah
Grumpy Old Prop: um But then anybody in that back row, especially Tom Willis, you know um
Grumpy Old Prop: Earl is probably a good bet this week. And then Faz the one you'd want for the kicker, but... know Other than that, Fergus Burke has been actually scoring pretty decently outside of that.
Grumpy Old Prop: I've i've had him on my ah on my draft format, and it's been doing okay anyway.
Jarrod Dyke: Yeah, he's like 10 or 12 or so in the draft format, so not bad.
Grumpy Old Prop: Right.
Grumpy Old Prop: Yeah, not bad if you don't need the the kicking points there. And then, fuck, either way, any of the back three players for Saris, because they're all just raking.
Jarrod Dyke: Right.
Grumpy Old Prop: And it doesn't matter how young or how new or how debutant their one wing will be. um Play him.
Jarrod Dyke: Yeah, it seems...
Grumpy Old Prop: because he's better than, yeah ah to to to to quote Matt from from Fezcast, you know, they're not putting Maitland out there anymore.

Jarrod Dyke: Oh yeah. Unquestionably. Um, okay. So sit, I'm, this is my, this guy's my sit only because I'm warning people off the shiny object that people may think exists with this man. Um, not a favor favorable matchup. He's not scoring anything. He's no longer really that good of a player.
Jarrod Dyke: Um, My set the week is going Liam Williams from Newcastle. Like, shiny object syndrome.

Grumpy Old Prop: um But lot younger, and I don't know what the hell's going on with him, really. um But I think no matter what, this is a really bad matchup for him. So don't don't follow the shiny object. Find a different name if you need a name.

If this is either one of you, um yeah, you're going to need to start, like, actually making shit happen or and, like, get to us and get and let us know, hey, sorry, I screwed up, you know, yada, yada, so forth.

Jarrod Dyke: We all live lives. But we would like our leagues to be competitive, and, yeah know, we've had two weeks in a row um where basically just folks mailed it in.
Jarrod Dyke: um Actually, there might be a fourth one. um Oh, yeah. Looks like there's a fourth one on one one. Rory in our URC League. Yeah. Throw him throw him under the bus, too.
