half. You know, the big one that's going to stick out is that Garnaccio miss. um You know, I'm not sure what he was thinking. It was, it was set up nicely for him just to side foot that in and he decided to go at a header and just made a mess of it completely.

But, you know, we had other ones too, kind of half chances, you know, there's good pullback to Dorgoo. You know, i just didn't take good touch with his right foot. Maybe could have hit it first time. um but I think he was wary of, i think, Kovacic tracking back.

long shots and De Bruyne just go right to Onana and then that Mermouch free kick um that Onana saved but you know I definitely think United were the dominant team over the course of the game um but I think in that first half you know especially um they they look quite good um I think as certain players that took them a little bit together the game the likes Ugarte I thought at the start um didn't have the greatest games. you know i look He was letting touches down. He was looking quite slow. and you know As well, Harry Maguire was giving the ball away a bit. and

um and yeah it was you know good see mount get more minutes players like that um so yeah definitely positive signs um but no i think it was quite surprising to me anyway seeing that city team you know how poor they were you know for the last few years you know hate to say it but like city have been fairly dominant over united and you know this isn't a great united team at all and today we we really had them kind of on the ropes for bits of the game and um you know, you're just looking at the the team they had out there, you know, like Gundogan didn't really do much, kind of seeing his past that, um you know, who else did they have? Like, they're forced to play Mateus Nunes, you know, right back, centre mids, and the squad just looks kind of depleted from them.

And, you know, obviously they'll have De Bruyne leaving this summer. So left it with a lot reshuffling, I think. And, know, obviously was ah it was a huge miss for them not having Haaland. I think he would have changed the

But, you know I will say one bright spark for them came off the bench was Jeremy Dock, who I think he was causing you know United had all sorts of problems. Masraoui had foul on him. Dalot got booked on him. I'm not really sure why he wasn't certain. To be honest, he created a lot more than the likes of Foden did anyway.

Foden is kind of a surprising one because was actually watching the match with my friend was a Chelsea fan. We were talking about him and Palmer. Foden used to be clear Palmer. Now it's completely opposite of Palmer as much as Foden.

um You know, I think it was a good decision from Amarim to kind of rest him with the game coming up and Lindelof done fine coming in and, You know, likecy Lenny Yarrow I thought was superb today, especially in that first half. He was making immense tackles. His passing was clean.

um And then, you know, kind of going on to the fullbacks, I thought Dalot done all right, to be fair. he was He was creating some good chances down that right side, put some decent balls in. And then Dorgo, I thought, to be fair, didn't have the best of games. um You know, he that chance, I think he should have done better with it, really.

um and then, you know, he just, did he didn't look himself, he was giving the ball away bit cheaply, especially in the first half, but he did grow into the game a bit, and definitely, you know, promising signs from him um moving forward, and you know, how young he is, I think, hopefully he'll be a left back for the future right there, um honestly would have liked seeing Shaw come in maybe for a bit though, we've seen him warming up, um but yeah, no, I think the back line overall, done superbly, and then,

You know, I think Sky Sports voted a man match, Bruno. mean, another great performance from him. You can see everything we do was going through him. um I would have liked possibly to see more chances where he could have got shots off.

So it kind of was, you know, bit of a dead game overall. um So a lot of these player ratings probably be, you know, kind of average, but we'll kick things off with Onana. um You know, had to didn't have to make, you know, two crazy saves. He did have that volley that came flying in, um but he was kind of positioned, you know, centrally and was able to push it away. um I'll just go with a six for Onana.

The only things I thought he could have done better was... um you know, that free kick, Mermush, I thought he absolutely could have caught that, I'm not sure really, um why, I guess he was thinking for the cameras to be better, but yeah, that was one he easily could have caught, and then he, some of his distribution, he rolled the ball out to Dorga, which was, you know, very high off the ground, and it was just an easy roller out to him, and luckily Dorga wasn't getting pressed too crazy, um but yeah, it was just just a terrible throw out to him, um you know, such an easy one, i'm I'm not sure really what went wrong with that one, but I'm

And also, saw I thought his passing just... wasn't there at all today. um You know, I gave one away. um Luckily, it didn't cause any issues in the end early on in the match. um i thought he was solid enough did end up getting um i believe a booking um or sorry no that's that i was thinking about but um he had that bit issues i thought with docu um but overall i thought you know you get masra is pretty solid overall um thought he defended well i thought maybe on the ball he could have done a little bit better um but yeah know got clean sheet in the end so i'm just give him six And then moving across to Lenny Ara, I'm going to give him a seven. And even that yellow he picked up, you know, I thought it was a very sensible foul. Mermouch was getting in and I thought it was, you know, brilliant by him.

And then i'm moving across the side, I'm going to go with Dalo first. um I'm going to give Dalo a six. i'll give him a six and a half because, um you know, didn't do anything like too crazy good. um you know i had a bit of trouble with Doku when he came on got picked up the yellow card um but yeah no I think over the last two games Dalo's been quite good I know of recent times he's kind of been strolling a bit and he hasn't been too high in these match ratings um but yeah no I'll go a six and a half for Dalo and then for Dorgu uh I'm gonna go with a I'll go with a five and a half for Dorgu I don't think was his best game at all looks sluggish at the start um But he the good thing about Dorg is he will always keep running forward, and and he was getting more forward.

But I think just overall wasn't a great day for I think he's a bit lower for me just because of that chance he had. um And yeah, I think he showed that experience he has um in a match like this. And I thought he really didn't put a foot wrong too much at all today. um So yeah, I'll give him a seven for Casemiro. And then Gertrude, I'm going to go with a six. um He would have been a bit lower because the start he had, I thought was absolutely shocking.

um But he started to come more into the game and he had a superb tackle on Kovacic to lead for that break. um where we nearly got a goal out of it and just seeing his passion work right in the middle is you know just brilliant to see because feel like we've been lacking that at the club um in recent years so um yeah that would be my rating for him and then moving on above him uh for me bruno uh you know man of the match the sky sports said um i'm gonna give him a seven and a half out of ten uh borderline eight but

You know, no goals, you know, a nil-nil match. Don't want to go too high, but he he was brilliant again. You know, even his, you know, off-the-ball work rate was superb tackling. And then just being the link-up for, you know, all our attacks going forward, he really is just such a great player for us. And, you know, I'd hate to see, even though we are so far down on the table, I'd hate to see where we would be without him.

Because, yeah, he's just he's that one player really you feel can unlock a defence at any time. Yeah. And yeah, I thought he he showed up well today, although you know he didn't have any goals or assist the chauffeur, but um it was ah it was a good performance by him.

And then going across to Garnaccio, Garnaccio's going to get a four for me. I mean, he just, another not good performance at all. um You know, i has the pace there, you know, and running at him, he looked like he caused problems, but the end product again, I mean, think I can remember only one time he got past the player, and that was when Bernardo um tripped him at the start that second half. You know, what he just, he looks kind of weak against everyone else. You know, he's trying to go down the line and just players are easily covering him, even if he gets a step on them.

And then, you know, his that huge chance he missed, I mean, he needs to be doing better for how much, you know, we're paying him. Like, we scored that, like a City aren't scoring, we come out with three points. um And then even like he had a few other shots pulled wide and it's just,

you know I think he has only something like four goals and 29 appearances this season in the Prem. it's It's just not good enough at all for United winger. um And yeah, just time and time again recently, he's been getting low ratings for us. ah Honestly, moving forward, I'd like to see maybe Mount come in, maybe give Garnasch a spell aside for a couple of games, see if that might light fire underneath him. But yeah, just another poor performance from Garnaccio.

um probably won't be for this ah Leon match but in the near future which I'd like to see him get more more runs out there more minutes um and then Xerxes you know I thought he offered more oil than Hoyland coming on had that had that good shot he got off after the pullback from Dorgoo but yeah and overall I mean final thoughts was just yeah i mean kind of a nil-nil not the most exciting game but you know you definitely had chances to win that and it is a bit disappointing that we couldn't get you know three on the trot, excluding the community shields on our neighbour's city and end De Bruyne's Man City career with a loss. Would have been a cherry on top.
