Speaker: Hi, besties.

Speaker: Welcome back to Band Practice.

Speaker: I'm Emma.

Speaker: And I'm Madison.

Speaker: And today we're just doing a little yapping episode of a bunch of different topics.

Speaker: There's not really like a theme, not really much structure.

Speaker: We're just going to be speaking our piece, speaking what's on our mind lately.

Speaker: I'm excited.

Speaker: There's like we have, don't get me wrong, we have good ideas, but sometimes we just need to discuss things.

Speaker: And I feel like we're at a point in like TikTok culture that there's just like a lot going on that I would like to yap about.

Speaker: Yes, there's a lot to unpack over these, like, I feel like past couple weeks, even past couple months, just things that haven't really fit into episodes that like I would like to speak on.

Speaker: But they're not enough to be like their own idea, you know?

Speaker: Exactly.

Speaker: Well, before we get into any of that, we need to talk about ourselves.

Speaker: Of course.

Speaker: Obviously.

Speaker: So what have you been up to this last week?

Speaker: I feel like I have just been, I feel like we've said this in the past couple of weeks, but I feel like this week has been the peak of it.

Speaker: I have just been defrosting.

Speaker: I've been coming out of my depression.

Speaker: It's finally like actually warm.

Speaker: The sun is shining.

Speaker: People are out and about.

Speaker: Like yesterday we were walking and I was like, oh my God, I see people kayaking.

Speaker: I see people riding their bike.

Speaker: I see people walking their dog.

Speaker: People are playing volleyball in the park.

Speaker: I'm like, the world is alive and depression isn't real.

Speaker: Like I beat it.

Speaker: It's gone.

Speaker: She beat it.

Speaker: I literally beat it.

Speaker: And so I've just been feeling good enjoying the outdoors.

Speaker: It feels good to touch grass sometimes.

Speaker: I realized.

Speaker: I love that.

Speaker: It does feel good.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: No, no real updates or anything.

Speaker: Just looking forward to two days until I see you.

Speaker: One, two.

Speaker: By the time you guys are listening to this, we will be together.

Speaker: That's crazy.

Speaker: We'll probably be snuggling on the couch.

Speaker: Yes.

Speaker: We'll be smooching.

Speaker: We will be kissing.

Speaker: I also haven't been up to too much.

Speaker: I also have been defrosting and really entering my fitness era.

Speaker: I feel like once it starts to warm up and I can like

Speaker: comfortably exercise outside, I just become a brand new woman.

Speaker: I've been going for hikes lately, which has been so nice.

Speaker: I feel so strong and fit.

Speaker: Madison and I have been really loving that YouTube workout that I talked about in our last episode.

Speaker: So yeah, we're kind of giving buff.

Speaker: Absolutely.

Speaker: We're giving bodybuilders.

Speaker: So yeah, stay tuned for us to be shredded this summer.

Speaker: Literally jacked, like, before you know it.

Speaker: Like, there will be accusations.

Speaker: Steroid accusations will be probably made because it'll be so shocking.

Speaker: There will be medication accusations against us, and it won't be ozempic, it will be steroids, so...

Speaker: We're going against the grain.

Speaker: We're doing something different.

Speaker: Paving our own way.

Speaker: No, but like that's just been fun for me.

Speaker: I feel like I've also really like nailed down my everyday.

Speaker: Well, not everyday, but like

Speaker: typical makeup routine which I'm just like really confused why Madison hasn't told me I looked beautiful stunning gorgeous yet but I know that it's true and I'm just really enjoying that I think what changed was I finally bought a new like freckle product because my last one was dried out and now now I feel like sun-kissed summer vibes so

Speaker: I love that.

Speaker: And actually, to be fair, it was my first thought when we first logged on.

Speaker: I was like, oh, she looks so good.

Speaker: But then, of course, behind the scenes, we had some technical difficulties.

Speaker: That just clouded my brain.

Speaker: It clouded my judgment.

Speaker: And I forgot to tell you.

Speaker: I'll let it slide.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: I opened the window.

Speaker: You were there.

Speaker: And I was like,

Speaker: Wow, she does look stunning today.

Speaker: I feel like when I look at it in a mirror, I'm like, oh, like cartoon character.

Speaker: But on camera, it just like gives the right like filter effect.

Speaker: Yes.

Speaker: It does look like summery, like summery makeup.

Speaker: Like you look like glowy and sun-kissed.

Speaker: thank you thank you you're welcome you know i've actually been on the on the hunt for my summer bikinis which every year i'll buy a few don't wear them end up hating them or i just truly don't have a reason to buy any like i don't go swimming but yeah still on the hunt if anyone has any recommendations like i'm open you didn't like the ones you bought the other day

Speaker: Oh, I did, but I feel like I need more, no?

Speaker: Oh, of course, of course.

Speaker: Yeah, I like it.

Speaker: And I've been loving your hiking era.

Speaker: I'm excited to go on a hike with you when I'm in town.

Speaker: I can't wait.

Speaker: Gosh, we're going to have a busy week.

Speaker: We're going to be booked and busy.

Speaker: We've got a lot to do.

Speaker: Uh-huh.

Speaker: A lot of business to take care of.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: I want to go mini-golfing.

Speaker: Absolutely.

Speaker: Hiking.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: um you know and that might be it that's all that's all that's on the agenda so far but things are filling up the schedule is filling up for sure yeah that's that's all i've got no other life updates so

Speaker: No.

Speaker: Drinks?

Speaker: I would love to start because I also have to speak my piece about this.

Speaker: So this morning I walked to a new coffee shop because I typically walk in like one direction from my house, but the other direction, one direction, the other direction is really cute too, but I just like never go over there for some reason.

Speaker: So I decided to go to a coffee shop over on the other side and it was really cute.

Speaker: It was like a breakfast sandwich kind of place, like kind of like quick breakfast and coffee.

Speaker: And so I went and got a breakfast sandwich that I really enjoyed, but the coffee...

Speaker: was god awful.

Speaker: It sent chills down my spine.

Speaker: Like, probably the worst coffee I've ever had.

Speaker: And then me and Emma were talking about it because I texted her.

Speaker: I was like, I had a loss this morning.

Speaker: Like, I got a bad coffee.

Speaker: And we agree that coffee has been bad lately.

Speaker: Like, universally.

Speaker: I would love to know if you guys are having this experience and if it's like the barista training is just out the window nowadays or something.

Speaker: Because I feel like seven out of ten times that I go get a coffee from somewhere, I like,

Speaker: actually can't drink it like or I have to go home and add something to it exactly yes like it's not like oh it's not the best coffee I've ever had I take a sip and I'm like oh this is bad like this tastes bad yeah so anyways I'm drinking that coffee though because I went home and added like a pound of vanilla syrup in it yep that was that masked it try it's like a band-aid yeah no it's like no one can pull a shot anymore and that's the thing I'm not even like a coffee snob

Speaker: But you can just tell, like I told Ben, I'm like, this tastes like the person who made it doesn't know how to use the espresso machine.

Speaker: Like they put the coffee in and the water did go through the coffee, but that's about it.

Speaker: Nothing else about it was right.

Speaker: I can tell that it's coffee with a little bit of water pulled through it, but nothing else about it was correct.

Speaker: Oh, it's like burnt, bitter.

Speaker: Oh, just terrible.

Speaker: Same thing with matcha lately for me.

Speaker: I've been having to – like yesterday, I had plans to go straight to Target after I got my drink, but it was like so bad I had to drive home, shake it up myself because it was chunky, and add my own sweetener because it just tasted – like I had them add vanilla.

Speaker: I can't taste it.

Speaker: Like it was just –

Speaker: I hate when I have to like fix my drink.

Speaker: And I'm not that picky.

Speaker: I promise.

Speaker: I know.

Speaker: That's the thing.

Speaker: I'm really not like I'll drink pretty much any coffee.

Speaker: It's not like I'm like, oh, I'm tasting notes of blah, blah, blah.

Speaker: I'm like, no, just tastes like poo-poo.

Speaker: Like bad.

Speaker: Literally.

Speaker: Bad poo-poo.

Speaker: Bad poo-poo, but that's what I'm drinking, sipping on my poo-poo, trying to get through it.

Speaker: Yeah, that's rough.

Speaker: I actually, I was considering going to try and find a coffee because I actually was craving it today, which is what sparked this conversation between Madison and I. Then I was like, better not risk disappointment.

Speaker: So I've just been sipping on half of a Cherry Twist Alani.

Speaker: It is the prettiest pink color.

Speaker: I was going to say.

Speaker: I poured it into a glass.

Speaker: I love it.

Speaker: So cute.

Speaker: It looks delicious.

Speaker: Well, anyways.

Speaker: Okay.

Speaker: So we just have a list of topics that we want to touch on and we'll probably go off the rails a little bit.

Speaker: But...

Speaker: Our first topic is the Aloe Gym.

Speaker: If y'all are on TikTok following influencers, I know you have seen this.

Speaker: And my thing is when I first, I feel like it's been around for like a year now.

Speaker: Like I've been seeing it a little bit here and there for a long time.

Speaker: And when I first started seeing it, I don't know why.

Speaker: To me, I was like thinking it was some like rinky dinky little gym, like personal trainer and just like a gym kind of vibe.

Speaker: You know what I mean?

Speaker: I was not aware until I saw a video like two weeks ago that it is like an empire.

Speaker: Did you see the video of the girl touring it?

Speaker: No, I haven't seen the tour.

Speaker: Oh my God.

Speaker: I need to find it.

Speaker: I've just seen individual things.

Speaker: Like I know there's a Pilates studio.

Speaker: I think I've seen like the, the water.

Speaker: What does that call?

Speaker: Like an ice plunge area.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: They have like sauna, like steam room.

Speaker: I think like cryotherapy chambers.

Speaker: It's like a wellness, just like business building, like an entire building of just like the craziest wellness treatments and stuff.

Speaker: And it's not public, right?

Speaker: Like it's literally just like invite only influencers and celebrities, which is such an interesting...

Speaker: I've heard some I think I heard Brooke and Tana talk about it on the Cancelled podcast and they were like noting that like it was like really interesting like PR like obviously they're getting all this press because people want to post like that they're going to it but I also think that people on that side of the industry forget that like us regular degular folks like what what are we to do with that right like I don't know what I'm exactly trying to be influenced on but I do like to see it

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: Like it means nothing to me because even if I could, like if I could afford to go or location wise, I could go.

Speaker: I still can't go because you have to be invited to go.

Speaker: So like as a normal consumer, what is this supposed to be doing for me?

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: I also feel like people started to feel that way on the last Tarte brand trip.

Speaker: Have you been seeing the backlash?

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: And girl, I was telling you this.

Speaker: I said, unpopular opinion on like before the trip was starting.

Speaker: I was like, this is just like I think when I saw the gift bags that they got before the trip with like the full sweatsuit, the custom Jordans, the $700 vlogging camera.

Speaker: I was like, this is really out of touch and like feels almost inappropriate to like.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: do in this sort of economy, I think in any stance, but it's just very showy, flashy.

Speaker: And now these influencers are kind of, their end of the bargain is basically like bragging about all of these gifts and like this huge luxurious trip.

Speaker: And it just feels really yucky because the majority of their following probably can't even afford to vacation right now.

Speaker: And so it's just like, it just like rubbed me the wrong way, I think.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: And I feel like, again, it's like as a consumer, this actually isn't making me want your products.

Speaker: It's actually making me feel irritated.

Speaker: And I think what's crazy too is like,

Speaker: The Tarte brand ships get so... I don't know.

Speaker: I think whatever they're released... Was it for a release of a product?

Speaker: I don't even know.

Speaker: I don't know.

Speaker: I'm just confused.

Speaker: Also, I couldn't name one Tarte product out right now.

Speaker: Like shape tape.

Speaker: That's all I know.

Speaker: Is it still being made?

Speaker: I don't know.

Speaker: That's all I know.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: I feel like brand trips in general are touchy because it's like, if I got invited on one, would I go?

Speaker: Probably.

Speaker: Right.

Speaker: Some of it probably stems from just jealousy of watching these people.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: But I think it honestly is like better for everyone if it's like, I've seen brand trips done really well where it's like,

Speaker: A company takes a group of people on a trip, obviously, and then there's not really – you can tell that there's not super strict posting guidelines.

Speaker: You have to post to get ready with me every morning.

Speaker: But people will organically post little snippets of the trip that will show a little bit of behind the scenes.

Speaker: And then it's always people that genuinely have a relationship with that brand that they'll wear their clothes differently.

Speaker: weeks later or whatever like you'll just see them in their posts whereas I feel like with the Tarte stuff it's like none of these girls are using Tarte products even when they're on the trip like yeah like they were given an entire basket of every Tarte product ever made ever in every shade they could possibly want

Speaker: not one of them is using them in their get ready with me.

Speaker: It just seems very out of touch for everyone.

Speaker: The whole thing, I don't see how it's sustainable as a company.

Speaker: I don't know how they managed to do it two years in a row.

Speaker: I really don't.

Speaker: I don't know.

Speaker: I feel like just the times of the internet have changed so much from when brand trips first started becoming really popular that it almost now feels outdated in a way.

Speaker: There are so many other things marketing-wise that you could spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on

Speaker: And it would make people love you and actually want your products.

Speaker: Not just tune in for the week that these girls are on a trip.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: That being said, if we pop off and you see us on a Tarte Brand trip, please don't pull this clip up.

Speaker: All right, let's keep it buried.

Speaker: No, it does look fun.

Speaker: And I don't blame the individuals at all for going on the trip.

Speaker: I would absolutely go if I was invited, I think.

Speaker: Yeah, I think it's more so just a weird move on the brand side of things.

Speaker: It's not the individual's fault for going to Bora Bora.

Speaker: Like, of course, who wouldn't?

Speaker: And it's like they're trying to almost like buy these girls who already have everything.

Speaker: Like, you don't need to give them.

Speaker: They all have a G7X, babe.

Speaker: They all have one.

Speaker: They don't need all of these things that they probably won't use because they already have a lot of stuff that they can't.

Speaker: get for free and they make a lot of money so they can buy whatever they want.

Speaker: So it's just kind of like, yeah, like you said, a poor use of budget on the brand's part.

Speaker: Okay.

Speaker: I don't know how we got there from the Aloe Gym, but I feel like in general, brand trips, makeup influencers, the Aloe Gym, it's all giving very much clean girl, the aesthetic that we've seen for the past couple of years.

Speaker: And I feel like there's now a pushback of that.

Speaker: And I feel like the leader of the messy girl aesthetic or whatever the alternative to the clean girl aesthetic is is

Speaker: Tara Yami.

Speaker: And she's an icon and I love her and let's talk about it.

Speaker: Let's talk about it.

Speaker: I have been watching Tara Yami for a long time actually.

Speaker: I remember, I think it was in like 2020.

Speaker: Really?

Speaker: I did not know her until like a month ago.

Speaker: I never watched her super consistently, but I started watching that whole friend group at the time, like Jake and then like... Johnny?

Speaker: What's his name?

Speaker: Oh, Sam and Colby.

Speaker: Yeah, all of those people were like friends and like I would watch some of their videos sometimes during COVID when I was like excessively consuming YouTube.

Speaker: But then of course I just like, like a lot of people I think kind of YouTube felt

Speaker: less like a social media priority once like TikTok blew up.

Speaker: So I hadn't like watched her or any of those people in like a long time.

Speaker: And then all of a sudden my For You page was Tara and Jake.

Speaker: I think once they broke up, I think was when I really started to see their content a lot, like even individually.

Speaker: And now she is the it girl and she is very deserving of that.

Speaker: Like I have a lot to say about this actually, but I'll let you try now.

Speaker: Okay, I would love to hear because I feel like I didn't know who she was until like, maybe I remember I sent you a clip of Jake and Johnny when they're at Costco.

Speaker: And they're like, I don't know, there's like this clip that went super viral viral of them.

Speaker: And that was like, one of the first clips that I saw of them.

Speaker: And I was like, wait, they are so funny.

Speaker: And I sent it to you.

Speaker: And I was like, wait, have you seen these people?

Speaker: Like, where did they come from?

Speaker: Who are they?

Speaker: Mm hmm.

Speaker: that was when I first started hearing about them and then like from that I started seeing Tara's stuff and then I was like oh okay they used to be dating like I started putting the pieces together but I was not there for when they were dating or anything I also never really was into Sam and Colby which I know people are like really diehard fans yeah yeah I never got into it so this whole new friend group is like

Speaker: it's new to me.

Speaker: I'm like getting to know all the characters.

Speaker: But I feel like I don't remember if I said this on the podcast or if I cut it out because I was too embarrassed.

Speaker: But within the past six months, I've been obsessed with the Sterniolo triplets.

Speaker: And just last night, as of

Speaker: us recording this they all that whole group of people hung out together so I feel like I'm tuning in right at the right time like all the pieces are coming together for me I love that no she's been really pushing for me to fall in love with these triplets and slowly but surely we're getting there I told her to just like bombard me with the content like it will happen

Speaker: They're so funny.

Speaker: And I love these two friend groups.

Speaker: Well, they're triplets.

Speaker: They're not really a friend group.

Speaker: But these two different groups of people, I love them.

Speaker: And now they're coming together.

Speaker: And I just like, actually, it's my dream come true.

Speaker: Like, I can't believe that this is happening right now.

Speaker: I'm so happy for you.

Speaker: I saw a comment on one of their things.

Speaker: And it was like, this is healing my sister squad trauma.

Speaker: And I was like a big sister squad.

Speaker: girly like Emma Chamberlain the Dolan twins and James Charles they were my Roman Empire and then we all know they had like a big falling out this is giving that same energy of like not OG but like OG YouTubers yeah that like all come together and it's like a big crossover episode

Speaker: No, and I think the rise of Tarayami is also going to cause a new resurgence in YouTube.

Speaker: Like, she is going to be born again.

Speaker: I think people are going to be watching YouTube content a lot more.

Speaker: Like, not that it ever fully died or anything, but I feel like it's going to have – it's time to shine again.

Speaker: I agree.

Speaker: And I feel like I've been – I never stopped watching YouTube per se, but I'd use YouTube in a different way where, like, I just watch –

Speaker: certain videos here and there.

Speaker: Like there wasn't people that like I watched every single video.

Speaker: Like I was, I knew the days that they uploaded and I like watched on that day.

Speaker: Like I haven't been like that with YouTube for a long time.

Speaker: And these past couple of months are like the first time that I'm like waiting for Tarayami video.

Speaker: I'm waiting for this Dornie Olo Triplets video.

Speaker: Like I can't wait.

Speaker: and it just feels like so high school like 2014 to 2016 vibes and it just oh I love that it's coming back I missed it full circle yes it feels so good but yeah like you said Tar Yami is like the antithesis of like the clean girl not that she's like

Speaker: I hate saying that because like messy girl isn't like doesn't mean like dirty or like gross.

Speaker: Like it's just like.

Speaker: But like she is the leader of the stinky girls.

Speaker: No, but she's got like a more edgy alternative style, like more dramatic makeup, like darker hair.

Speaker: Like she just is.

Speaker: the face of like the resurgence of like indie sleaze.

Speaker: And I love that.

Speaker: Like people have been predicting that for a long time.

Speaker: And I think what I love so much about her and what people are so drawn to her for is like she always has been this way.

Speaker: Like she's always dressed this way.

Speaker: Her makeup has always like looked like that in some way.

Speaker: Like she's always had this very like set –

Speaker: sense of self and individuality that I feel like lacks in our current internet space.

Speaker: It's all about what the current trending aesthetic is, but she's always been into her own thing and had her own cute, unique style.

Speaker: I think that's really intriguing and draws people in because they want to know more about her because she feels so different from what we've been seeing.

Speaker: So I love that for her.

Speaker: She makes me want to shop at IMG.

Speaker: Like suddenly I want to do some eyeliner.

Speaker: I was going to say I need a wing again.

Speaker: Like I haven't felt that way in years.

Speaker: Like do I need an eyebrow piercing?

Speaker: I don't know.

Speaker: I might.

Speaker: No, actually, I feel like, again, it's like all the stars are aligning or like all the pieces are finally coming together because like you said, we've been waiting for this pushback of the clean girl for a while.

Speaker: We've been talking about the resurgence of like Tumblr era or like Indie Sleaze, like early 2000s Paris Hilton vibe.

Speaker: Like people have been predicting this for a while now.

Speaker: And I feel like she stepped in at the right time and she's like, it's me who you've been looking for.

Speaker: I am a star.

Speaker: And she does have that like

Speaker: bold almost like blunt personality whereas like i feel like a lot of influence now are like soft-spoken and like sweet like agreeable girlies and she's like no this is who i am and like if i like i'm loud and obnoxious oh well i'm gonna continue to yap and it's just it's just like such a good change of pace i feel like yes it's very refreshing and i feel like

Speaker: You can tell how authentic she is and that's really, I think, relatable for people.

Speaker: I think people for a while have been tired of influencers that just they don't see themselves in at all, whether it's their lifestyle or their personality or I don't know.

Speaker: Even watching her vlogs on YouTube, she's got a messy ass room and love that for her.

Speaker: Yes.

Speaker: And I love her.

Speaker: For sure.

Speaker: I love her too.

Speaker: So happy for her.

Speaker: So happy for her.

Speaker: Somebody else I'm happy for.

Speaker: This has been the highlight of my month.

Speaker: Rumor has it, Devin Booker and Kendall Jenner are back together.

Speaker: And I just... My heart's good to beat.

Speaker: I first started putting together the pieces when... I think I sent it to you.

Speaker: He posted in Kylie's brand.

Speaker: And I was like, clearly you wouldn't do this.

Speaker: Never.

Speaker: If that was your ex's sister.

Speaker: Like, clearly not.

Speaker: But this was before they had been, like, spotted together.

Speaker: Any rumors had been, like, sparked or anything.

Speaker: I feel like that was the first thing that I saw that made me, like, go back in the stories and be like, back, back.

Speaker: What was that?

Speaker: Like, what are we talking about right now?

Speaker: And I didn't want to get my hopes up.

Speaker: I didn't want to jump to conclusions, but I was like, something is in the works because I think he was rumored to be dating this other girl at the time.

Speaker: So I was like, let's not, let's not jump the gun.

Speaker: But yeah, rumor has it they're back.

Speaker: They've been spotted a couple of times.

Speaker: I think they went on vacation together or something.

Speaker: I don't know if you know the tea, but I don't really know the tea either, but I'm just so happy.

Speaker: It's so interesting that we love this couple so much because I'm not even like the biggest Kendall Jenner fan, but for some reason, like

Speaker: You just like had to have been there.

Speaker: Like they just were that couple that felt like soulmates that just felt like, I don't know, they could have been endgame.

Speaker: So I'm just really happy that they've like found each other again.

Speaker: Hopefully it can work this time.

Speaker: And I don't know.

Speaker: I just, it's so crazy when you finally evolve as an adult woman where you can be happy that your celebrity crush is in a relationship with another woman.

Speaker: Mm-hmm.

Speaker: I agree.

Speaker: And I love them.

Speaker: And I can see that with a clear mind.

Speaker: Like, you guys know we love Devin Booker.

Speaker: Like, that is our boyfriend.

Speaker: But that is Kendall's boyfriend as well.

Speaker: And, like, she.

Speaker: Yeah, that's her man first.

Speaker: Yes.

Speaker: And they are just so cute together.

Speaker: Like you said, they feel like Endgame.

Speaker: They feel really real.

Speaker: Like, just a good match.

Speaker: And they're just so cute together.

Speaker: And I can't wait to start seeing them post up on Instagram together and, like.

Speaker: I hope they have a baby soon.

Speaker: Nope, girl.

Speaker: Someone's... Let's manifest.

Speaker: Let's start manifesting.

Speaker: Dear God, please.

Speaker: Now you had me... Okay, so now you're making me think about, like, people with babies.

Speaker: And we must talk about Nara Smith because people... There is just, like, a lot of things going viral on the internet right now.

Speaker: Wow, I'm realizing.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: But, like...

Speaker: If you guys don't know, Nara Smith, she is a model who is married to Lucky Blue Smith, who is also a really famous model.

Speaker: And they have two kids together, and she's currently pregnant with their third kid together.

Speaker: And she gives the trout wife energy of cooking at home, making homemade meals for her family.

Speaker: And it started off really cute and like, oh, that's a fun recipe, really healthy, clean,

Speaker: like hearty home-cooked meals and then I think because people were eating it up and like thought it was just like this crazy thing she she's definitely running with it because she said my kids woke up craving cereal so I got started on making homemade cinnamon toast crunch like what

Speaker: No, you didn't.

Speaker: I know.

Speaker: I feel like I've been watching her videos.

Speaker: She's pretty new.

Speaker: Like, I feel like she did not start posting videos until like, I don't know, within like the past year, I feel like she started consistently posting or that's what I noticed because I was a lucky bluesmith Stan in high school.

Speaker: Like he was the moment in like 2014 to 2016 again, like he ran the world.

Speaker: And so it's so funny to me when I see people be like, like have no clue who was

Speaker: He is.

Speaker: Like, people that watch her are like, wait, who's Lucky Blue?

Speaker: Like, what is the lore?

Speaker: Like, I'm so confused.

Speaker: I'm like, oh, my God.

Speaker: Again, you had to be there.

Speaker: But I started watching her, like, a while ago.

Speaker: And I was like, she's so cute.

Speaker: Her kids are so cute.

Speaker: Like, she has just the best, like, aesthetic and energy.

Speaker: And then I slowly started to notice that, like, she is –

Speaker: she has these people wrapped around her finger.

Speaker: Like, yeah, she is clearly trolling you guys and you guys are mad about it.

Speaker: And it's hilarious to watch because she, I think she genuinely does like cook a lot.

Speaker: And like, I think she loves it.

Speaker: I think it's like a passion of hers.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: She cooks.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: A lot of stuff from scratch.

Speaker: Like if she wants avocado toast, like she will be making the bread.

Speaker: You know what I mean?

Speaker: Like,

Speaker: I feel like that is authentic, but people started getting pissed off about it and even being like, can't he cook a meal about her husband and stuff?

Speaker: It's like, well, that's their dynamic.

Speaker: She loves cooking.

Speaker: It's probably a love language for her.

Speaker: But I feel like as soon as the table started to turn and people started to hate on her, she was like, oh, you guys aren't going to cancel me.

Speaker: I'm actually going to double down and go harder and I will be making Pop-Tarts from scratch.

Speaker: I will be making...

Speaker: cereal from scratch.

Speaker: Cheez-Its from scratch.

Speaker: Like if my kids want any snack, I will be making it from scratch and filming it just to piss y'all off.

Speaker: And I love it.

Speaker: I wonder where she's even getting these recipes.

Speaker: Like who has ever tried to make cereal from scratch?

Speaker: Like it never crossed my mind that like you can make a cereal.

Speaker: Is it like in my mind, it's just like

Speaker: plastic made in factory like I don't know she takes everything to the next level she will do every step just because people started getting so upset about it for some reason and I just love that she did not back down she wasn't like oh no my husband does sometimes cook like I don't know like try to backtrack she was like no if you guys are mad then stay mad

Speaker: Stay mad, stay watching, stay commenting, stay sending because now she's even more in her bag.

Speaker: Oh my God, yeah.

Speaker: They are already probably very wealthy, but now you're giving her a little puck change.

Speaker: And what's sad is if it was like the opposite end of the spectrum, like a working mom, very busy, like has her hobbies, has her job.

Speaker: And now she doesn't have time to like make homemade meals all the time.

Speaker: Oh, now she's going to get hate.

Speaker: No literally.

Speaker: Because of how she's feeding her children.

Speaker: So there's just really no winning.

Speaker: That is so real.

Speaker: Just keep grinding.

Speaker: Keep your head down.

Speaker: Keep grinding.

Speaker: Yes.

Speaker: Come on Nora.

Speaker: Come on Nora.

Speaker: Let's predict what she's going to make next.

Speaker: I'm predicting homemade.

Speaker: Hmm.

Speaker: I think, I don't know if she's done this already, but I feel like she should make, she should do like a simple meal.

Speaker: Like I'm going to, my kids really wanted a quesadilla, so I'm going to make a quesadilla and then like make the homemade tortillas and people will already be mad about that.

Speaker: But then she should make the cheese.

Speaker: Love that.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: Like make salsa, make hot sauce, like a couple of different hot sauces at home.

Speaker: I feel like she could really do something crazy with something so simple like that.

Speaker: That's good.

Speaker: That's good, church.

Speaker: Ooh.

Speaker: I could see her doing, like,

Speaker: Lucky wanted a pepperoni pizza.

Speaker: And like she I don't even know how pepperoni is made, but she'll find a way.

Speaker: She'll be like pepperoni from home.

Speaker: I cured this pepperoni for the past 47 weeks.

Speaker: I love her videos.

Speaker: Like I'm really not even trying to make fun of her.

Speaker: Like she is just that queen.

Speaker: She is.

Speaker: And I also feel like another thing that I've seen her get a lot of hate for is people being like upset that she's

Speaker: rich but in a way that like she's trying to act like she's not rich or like she's trying to act like she's just like an uh like home chef or whatever and i'm like she never said she wasn't rich like she never said that clearly can you see her kitchen in the back she's rich and she'll do like where like we can we all have eyes we can see that she'll do a vlog and like go buy designer items or whatever like she never said she wasn't rich

Speaker: yeah i don't know where you guys got that from but i don't know why you're mad about that um but yeah she seems just have a lot of money and a lot of free time and a lot of love for her family so who can who could be mad about that normalize when you don't like someone's content just not watching it and blocking them if you have to so they don't show up in your free page like there's really no need to be like complaining and whining about it you know

Speaker: Yes.

Speaker: There are some people that just kind of irk me for no particular reason.

Speaker: And I feel like I just block them or say I'm not interested in their content.

Speaker: Like you can click not interested and then you'll see less of it.

Speaker: Because I feel like people, maybe her vibe just rubs them the wrong way and now they're looking for any excuse not to like her.

Speaker: And I'm just like, guys, this is boring.

Speaker: Like you're ruining my fun.

Speaker: Yes.

Speaker: Just don't yuck my yum.

Speaker: please don't yuck my yum.

Speaker: Like, let's just keep scrolling and move on.

Speaker: You could actually scroll for 500,000 hours and see 500,000 other creators if you wanted to.

Speaker: Like, you don't need to watch her.

Speaker: You should have been on another video by now if you weren't to be tapping your little fingers on the keyboard.

Speaker: So, regardless, Nara really, like, inspires me to cook more at home.

Speaker: also be kind of like in my health and wellness era.

Speaker: And so I did go to Sprouts yesterday.

Speaker: I gave Madison a haul.

Speaker: It was really fun.

Speaker: And I, what sparked my purchase of bee pollen, um, was I have seen TikToks.

Speaker: This was actually months ago and I just like forgot about it.

Speaker: And then, um,

Speaker: When I was getting an acai bowl yesterday, I saw you could add bee pollen to your thing.

Speaker: I was like, let's give it a try.

Speaker: And so basically I had heard on TikTok that bee pollen can make your boobs grow.

Speaker: So, yes, I did purchase it immediately.

Speaker: I went to Sprouts yesterday and I was like, yeah, this is going to have to be regular in my routine.

Speaker: It does actually have many health benefits, which is also great and like love that of them.

Speaker: But like I will be experimenting.

Speaker: I'm doing a clinical trial on myself and I will let you all know how it goes.

Speaker: Not that there's anything wrong with my body, but like

Speaker: In time for bikini season, I would love a little extra.

Speaker: So be it.

Speaker: I'll let you know how this bee pollen works.

Speaker: No, actually, do keep us updated because I also saw a lot of videos about that.

Speaker: And I was like, I don't understand what the connection is.

Speaker: But people were just claiming that it works a miracle.

Speaker: So, yeah.

Speaker: We'll see.

Speaker: It could be a fun little...

Speaker: little experiment.

Speaker: That's what I'm saying.

Speaker: Just wanted to share that with everyone and I'll keep you updated maybe in like a month.

Speaker: I'll let you know if anything's changed.

Speaker: But yeah, I plan to add it.

Speaker: I got that and hemp heart seeds because I wanted – I eat a lot of yogurt bowls at home, but I wanted like some fun like nutritious supplement things to like add on top because I feel like that's just like an easy way to add extra nutrients.

Speaker: And

Speaker: So yeah, I got bee pollen and then Madison recommended some hemp.

Speaker: So yeah, I'm about to be in my wellness era times 10.

Speaker: I love that.

Speaker: And I am looking forward to the picture of your yogurt bowl with the hemp seeds and bee pollen whenever you make it.

Speaker: I'd love to see it.

Speaker: What can we go into next?

Speaker: TikTok is just full of like the weirdest things.

Speaker: Have you seen, well, TikTok shop in general is just like taking over and it's really annoying.

Speaker: But I have been getting TikToks of people tagging like clothing items that are like

Speaker: $3, $3, $5 shirts.

Speaker: And I'm like frightened by that.

Speaker: No, I have not seen that.

Speaker: I feel like I have seen just the most useless stuff I've ever seen in my life on TikTok shop.

Speaker: Like what I can't do is the accessories for Stanley Cups.

Speaker: I am sick to my stomach.

Speaker: These people have like four different accessories on their Stanley Cup.

Speaker: I'm like, why do we need a snack tray, a lip gloss holder, a sleeve, and like a straw cover and like just so many different things.

Speaker: I'm like, what are we even talking about?

Speaker: Put your lip gloss in your bag or in your pocket or in your hand, one of your two hands that God gives.

Speaker: gave you like we don't need a little lip gloss holder on our stanley cup no ma'am um but i haven't really been on the clothing side i i have not yeah i haven't seen anything but tiktok shop in general is just something about it is rubbing me the wrong way and i know people are in their bag making money off a tiktok shop yeah

Speaker: But I'm like so skeptical.

Speaker: I'm like, y'all just you want me to buy this like there.

Speaker: There's this one shirt that I kept seeing that like had a seam below the boobie area, which was like cute.

Speaker: Like in the photo, like it would like, I don't know, like frame them nicely.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: And then like all of the girls I kept seeing wearing that shirt being like, yes, it's like this is this shirt of like summer.

Speaker: Like the seam is so high up like it doesn't even go below the boob.

Speaker: It's like cutting halfway across the boob.

Speaker: I'm like, yes, babe, it doesn't even fit right.

Speaker: Why would I buy it?

Speaker: You're showing me how poorly it fits.

Speaker: Like it's just like really poorly made product and clothing that like should not even be able to be sold for so cheap because that means –

Speaker: The materials crap and probably children are making them.

Speaker: Breaking so many labor laws.

Speaker: It's just yucky.

Speaker: And I do still shop fast fashion here and there.

Speaker: But that is just way too far.

Speaker: Yes.

Speaker: It's like taking it to the next level.

Speaker: I also don't trust...

Speaker: I don't trust it for some reason.

Speaker: I think if I ordered something on TikTok shop, I wouldn't trust that that item would ever show up.

Speaker: Yes, it is giving Timu to me.

Speaker: I feel like if I bought something on TikTok shop, I'd get hacked.

Speaker: I don't know how to explain it.

Speaker: It just is very much sketchy to me.

Speaker: Or I'd get like fleas.

Speaker: Yes.

Speaker: Or like, remember, this is terrible, but the Shein orders that would have like notes in it, like help me.

Speaker: Yes.

Speaker: I feel like that is where the TikTok shop stuff is coming from.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: So you probably will not.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: You probably will not see me linking anything on TikTok shop ever.

Speaker: It's just a bad, bad vibe to me.

Speaker: Same.

Speaker: Low vibrational.

Speaker: Very low vibrational.

Speaker: Well, on that note, that's all we got for today.

Speaker: I really enjoyed just yapping.

Speaker: I feel like we should do this once a season.

Speaker: Just no structure.

Speaker: Just talk about what's on our mind.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: I love that.
