But, um, back to all things, Liverpool, um, Bologna yesterday in the champions league, Jesse was actually at the game. Uh, we tried recording some post-match reviews last night, but I didn't go all to plan.

But anyways, what did you make of the overall performance? Because it was, it was 2-0 on the score, on the score sheet, on the scoreboard, but it wasn't as convincing as it could be. It was quite a difficult game. What did you make overall?

Well, it was weird because I thought it was very convincing for about 10 minutes. I thought, um, uh, and the manager said that, you know, I didn't have to say this about the manager.

I love the fact he comes on and talks really big tactics immediately. Rather than just saying that we just wanted to to get down the side. So, you know, and and hes he's talking about his man to man. So that's why the goalkeeper got so much of the ball.

Mo, I thought Mo and Nunez were quite poor, to be honest. um Just pull poor decision making. But always good enough to beat Bologna, I thought. And I thought Bologna were excellent. I mean, once they sort of got their foot on the door and you can see what they're trying to do. They had a really interesting season on the Motta last year where they were just doing like really weird stuff like two left backs and things like that. I don't know if that's actually the case, but I read a few things about them and said he does, like he split his centre arse really, really widely.

and like far more wide than you think they should do but that creates space somewhere else and um so they're absolutely no mugs. I know they sold quite a few they're allowed to ask them why a few but I thought they were really good and I thought maybe these aren't as quite as bad as I thought well then I realized they're an Italian side in the Champions League car.

No, I know. But yeah, I think, I mean, it felt it felt like normal being back in the Champions League. i didn't I didn't remember about last season. It felt like this scene this team deserves to be in the Champions League, like Slots said, post-match as well.

So yeah, I think if you look at at the game overall, what did you make of sort of key players that stood out to you? um um In my opinion, I thought Virgil van Dijk as well was rock solid at the back.

And just being a bit annoyed at the way he won the ball like well like perfectly well. um um ah I love watching Virgil get bugged because the frown he's got is amazing. Whereas Sammy Hippier used to just smile at the ref in a sort of, bar you've got you're not a bad man, but you've got that really wrong.

Um, And the Champions League has thrown up some pretty mad results already. So I'm sort of pleased that we've just gone straight. Really sort of hard at it and bearing in mind, the first thing we did this year in the Champions League was concede a stupid goal. And then we scored loads since. So, you know, that's a really nice... It's fun again. It's just nice and fun. The only downside is trying to find a stream for it that doesn't cost 30 quid.

I mean, we only just got past Worlds, but I think we play a lot better than we did against Worlds, because we're poor. The only problem is the 12.30 curse thing. I don't know if that's going to be a thing, because it's just it's difficult. i am For some reason, clubs really struggle with the European Week, and in the same way, they never really struggle with the League Cup Week or an FA Cup Replay Week. But um we haven't had to travel, so I think we'll be all right.

I've obviously grabbed him virtually and it's it's his season at in the moment. um um um I'd like to see Lucio score just because he was um started so well and I think he needs goals to sort of cheer him and to cheer him along really.
