I'm really, really hyped up. but We have five predictions for each. um If you listened to have some prediction episodes in the past, as you know, i can get very specific and very monotonous with my predictions, whereas some people get very broad. Mine are broad. Mine are like, this is a game and it's going to be at the show.

I think I saw a picture, but I didn't. just posted it in our podcast Discord, yeah. I'm looking forward to that. Yeah, saw that. That game's going to be awesome.

Yeah, I don't know what the future game show is, but yeah, I saw that that was going to be ah have an extended gameplay. I was like, ooh, because that game, that looks awesome. But anyway, sure I think that's the show right after the Summer Games Fest where they just go deep dive on shit. Yeah.

Yeah, so my first Sony prediction, though, is i think that they're going to show some sort of new hardware, not like a console necessarily, but I think they're going to show something new, maybe a new type of edge or new just controller of some sort or maybe an update to the portal. I don't know, but I think they're going to show some sort of hardware at the show ah because i think I also think they need a win now that they all these consoles are going up in price like we just saw that the Steam Deck went up $300, which is absolutely insane. I think they need a win by showing something new rather than just constantly announcing, hey, are things more expensive? Hey, are things more expensive? Hey, so and after the the PS Plus news that it's going up because of market conditions, which doesn't make sense. That doesn't make any Yeah. yeah i think they need a I think they need a win. So I think they're going show something new and shiny to make people go, ooh, look at look at that. So that's first guess. that does Maybe it does make sense. Games are more expensive to develop now. Maybe that's the condition they're referring to. I think the condition is they want to make more money. but I'm sure that's part of it.

Yeah, but I feel like it's i think i feel like the the the parallel sticks are like the trademark of Sony at this point because Nintendo copied the Xbox controller. The Pro Controller is very much like the Pro Xbox controller. So I think I think Sony is going to be the sole parallel or not offset stick controller.

And in during that dialogue, we're going to get, I mean, during that gameplay, we're going to get the protagonist. I can't remember her. Did they give her a name yet? I don't know. Buzzcut girl.

And it's very Elder Scrolls like, you know, you got your your weapons and magic. You can dual wield. You can do magic in one hand or a sword or something in the other hand. ah Your skills go up as you use them. So like the more lockpicking you do, you get better at it. There are some powers that I miss because they were a little OP in the old one. And it helped me clear that once you level everything up, you hope it helps you clear the game a little easier. But other than that, it's there's so much they've expanded on. Like you're a witch in this game. So you kind of use concoctions to build up the levels to make it easier for yourself. like If you were to say they were made by the same people, be like, whoa. that you really don't see that. It's a lot of fun. The puzzles are very akin to Zelda, Oracle of Ages, and Oracle Seasons. It is a much tougher game than Shovel Knight, but like playing it, it feels like I'm playing one of those old Game Boy Color games made by Capcom, who made those Zelda games. It is awesome. I love playing it. There's like three different weapons you get to choose from. I like using the giant hammer. That's like one of my preferred ways to play. It's like a heavier weapon. The enemies take one less hit to kill with it, which is fun. But your range of motion is obviously limited because it's a heavier weapon. But it's super fun. I'm really enjoying it. i have actually i cannot wait to get back to it. I keep thinking about it. And it's one of those games that I just want to get back to and play. I'm playing it out on PlayStation right now, but I own it on PlayStation and Switch.

ah Merlin is coming next I can't wait for Merlin Merlin's gonna be awesome so it's pretty cool like this is just a game like I've i'm already caught up with the whole story and everything you have to wait for updates for more story um so I just log in and do like my daily quest and like mine some platinum and stuff and kill a couple bosses for loot and then I log off so it's like 30 to 60 minutes a day if the if that um but yeah it's pretty cool I'm excited for Merlin coming out this is like I said this is a ah it's it's basically like Genshin Impact but with seven deadly sins what are you playing it on ah PC, but it's on PlayStation as well. The graphics of this game are unbelievable. ah The gameplay isn't like super, you know, it's revolutionary ah in any sense, but i also played it on journalism mode because that is what I do. And it just, the story was awesome. It's very, has like a very awesome 80s synth, cyberpunk, Blade Runner type um soundtrack. It's, I just, the vibe of this game is so good. I loved finding all – it's one of those games where you can – for those who are trying 100%, you can chapter select, to go back and find any these things you missed. Yeah, I just absolutely adored this game. And it was worth the wait in my eyes. Honestly, this is a game of the year contender for me right now. Obviously, we've had a couple of really good games this year, but i this this game lived up to my expectations, and I'm very happy that it did. and Maybe who knows if it ever does come to PlayStation, maybe I will try that hard mode and go for that platinum. But for right now, I'm happy to have just beaten the game, gotten as many achievements as I can, because there's obviously a once of like finishing enemy this way, like 50 times. So I'm happy it finally came out and I'm happy I finally got to enjoy it because I remember seeing the reveal trailer for this game. And I was so hyped and obviously it got delayed forever because it was a Ukrainian studio that made the game. And obviously there was a little bit of a war going on over there. That's kind of cool, I guess. um But yeah, it seems pretty cool, but I haven't barely touched it. It's beautiful, though. The graphics and ah the Japan scenery is looking very nice.
