the journey, your spiritual journey, like how did you get introduced to spirituality and just really being curious about the notion of evolving internally and to increase your vibration?

My spiritual journey, I would say, started when I was much younger.

So I think it's important for us to have spiritual awakenings in a dark night of the soul, even though it's not the best at times, it's not comfortable.

It might be a little eerie or weird or odd, but we need it for our soul's development.

So the vortex, how I see it or how I like to perceive it is imagine like, this might sound a bit funny, but imagine like a tornado and it's just a tornado that's just surrounding you all the time.

So depending on what energy you put out is depending on the energy you're going to attract.

So depending on what vibration you're putting out is depending on your tornado frequency, let's just say, for example.

And your tornado is always bringing in situations and frequency of that frequency from how you feel and the energy that you put out.

So if you are vibrating from a high frequency, your tornado is going to be that of a high frequency and will be pulling in into the vortex all that of high frequencies.

So what is some advice or some pointers you can give people to keep that vibration high and to get into alignment?

Because I think most of us that's not in this realm,

well, even if they're not aware, they don't feel like they're in alignment of their soul or their purpose, but they might be happy at times and have their job and their career.

But what are the steps to get in a high vibration and what do we need to do to get into alignment of that vibration?

So it's really simple.

All you need to do, I mean, it's simple, but because of how we've been conditioned and programmed growing up and how we've been programmed our whole life, it's not so simple.

But really all it is, is just put yourself in a feel good vibration.

I think the thought, you feel good.

A lot of us self-sabotage.

And it's like, well, on these things that happen.

So it really is all about your attitude and your mindset towards life and how it is you choose to perceive things because your mindset is everything.

So things that you can do to stay in alignment and stay in the vortex is to just do things that make you feel good and to not focus on the negative so much.

Being out in nature always makes me feel good.

Both fear and faith can't live in the same home?

Overcoming Self-Sabotage

And from your perspective, I think we all do it in a way that we're not aware of.

Why do you think as human beings we self sabotage ourselves?

I like to think it's because it's a coping mechanism and is a defense mechanism and like a security blanket of fear of what we don't know.

Meaning like I rather self sabotage myself because I don't know what this new thing is.

And the new thing can be good.

But I'm so afraid of it because it's so uncertain.

So from my perspective, I believe that we self-sabotage because from when we were, you know, when we first started, let's say, we've been conditioned from the

I think it all stems from survival mode and being in a state of survival and how, for example, back in the days, we would only experience fear when we see a lion chasing after us.

But nowadays, we experience fear and stress

in traffic, in unnecessary experiences nowadays that doesn't really, that shouldn't require stress.

We shouldn't be sitting in a car in traffic, stressing out, releasing all these stressful chemicals in our body that is killing our nervous system.

think that we've just become accustomed and programmed and conditioned to being in this low vibration, which is just automatically self-sabotaging.

That's how I see it because we've had this state of survival mode and I think our brains are like conditioned or I don't know, they're

proper scientific formula but our brains are conditioned to go into a state of fear when we perceive something as stressful but the things that we see as stressful oh guys not texting me back I'm stressed yeah hey so then from then on we self-sabotage that's how I see it

So it's really a creation of our thoughts and the meaning we're giving our thoughts more likely from a negative space.

Because I think, you know, it's when I'm thinking of, say for instance, I get an opportunity to be on a show, right?

If I'm afraid to go on the show, even though I want to go on the show, I'll find something to self-sabotage myself subconsciously, not even because it's like, oh, and then I might forget to send in a video that I need to send to be submitted or

I don't get on a call in a time that I need to.

So basically it's like these little things, these subtle things that I'm doing to self-sabotage my experience of this next thing because I'm in fear of what it might be.

So I find something to kind of like stop it from happening.

I was like, you know what, I'm not going to answer the phone or I'm not going or you can be in a relationship and someone is like really giving you love and joy and bringing you all these wonderful things.

However, your body and your nervous system might not be common to that energy.

So you might self-sabotage yourself and really push the person away because of your lack of information or the fear of the thing being uncomfortable about the experience that's foreign.

And I think self-sabotage is also subconscious.

And that's why I think awareness is the most important thing that any human being can have.

Awareness of thinking, awareness of your surroundings, awareness of your emotions and all those things.
The Impact of Childhood on Mindset

And that's why it all boils down to, again, your mindset and your thoughts.

Because really, when we self-sabotage, it's because we're having thoughts, whether subconscious or conscious, we're having some kind of thought that is triggering us to then go and self-sabotage ourselves.

So for example, you know, in the example I said, your partner is not texting you back.

We're now thinking, having the thoughts, why are they not doing this?

And then we take action on our feelings, which are based on our emotions.

And then that's the action of self-sabotage by our feelings and our thoughts.

So it really is our mindset.

If you can control your mind, you can control your life.

And even though it's that easy, it is a lot of work to do to work on your triggers, your shadow work, your mindset.

It is a lot of work to be able to master your mindset in order to then master your life.

Yeah, and I think someone asked, do we think it's based on how a person was raised?

Of course, your childhood, your upbringing, how you were taught to love, how you were taught to be.

I know some friends, they grew up in environments where it was chaotic, so they had to be the peacemaker.

They had to calm everybody down.

And then after they calmed everybody down, they thought they would get love, but then they were by themselves.

But there was no chaos anymore.

So it's interesting how your upbringing really affects your livelihood once you get older.

And I think a lot of us are still living out our childhood as adults, right?

Of what we didn't get or what we lacked or what we need.

we trigger ourselves by just I think Dr. Wayne Dyer says we have to stop looking for ways to be offended.

It's like some of us we go out in the world we look for a way or a time or a place to be offended by someone or something.

It's like you're looking to be offended.

So you have that trigger moment because the trigger is comfortable.

You get high off the trigger.

Because we're conditioned in that state for if that's happening, then

that's a safe environment for me, but it's actually not healthy.

But if that's how we grew up, that's the norm.

And so we don't know how to unpack that and realize like, that's toxic, that's negative, that's not really good.

Or some people grew up where the parents were abusive verbally and physically.

And so when they get in these relationships, if a person is not cursing at them or talking to them a certain type of way, they might not feel loved.

So it's really deep and it's a lot to look at.

And, you know, sometimes it's hard to look at those wounds because they're like, damn, what was I doing all these years?

How was I in this relationship?

Repetition is what you're going to hold onto and what goes into the subconscious mind.

I would say understanding the roots of your beliefs.

I actually don't believe that because that was just something that I believed because of my mom when I was younger or something I went through.
