Transcript

Speaker: It was called She's the Man. Starring Amanda Bynes and Channing Tatum, which I didn't know he was in it. yeah That's where she that's when she like goes to a soccer camp or something like that? Yeah, yeah, and then they she turns into Ellen DeGeneres and plays soccer. and

Speaker: Welcome to the...

Speaker: What's the deal? Let me try that again. It's the Down With DP podcast with Robert Dunn and Ron Prendamano in three minutes.

Speaker: Yo, yo. Oh, hi. Hello. Oh, hi You were looking at, look, I didn't know what that was. I was looking at work emails, baby. Work emails. dude, we're making money right now.

Speaker: We are? We're making money right now. We're making money? Work it. We're making money, baby. That's all I do every day. We're not making shit. Don't tell them that because then we can't we can't flex when we're at the club.

Speaker: Okay. Anyway, ah this is the Down With DB podcast. I'm your host, Ron Prendamano, and with me is the beautiful- Robert Dunn. Robert Dunn. I wanted you to say it. I wanted to hear it from your mouth. I said it. You're beautiful. I said it's the hair, baby. It's the hair. Give me more hair, baby. Oh, fuck yeah. You don't have to do it. You do Rogaine commercials for fun.

Speaker: I'll do Rogaine commercials. All right, that was weird. Okay. Yes, did I throw you off? I'm sorry. Not little bit. No. But, um yeah, welcome, everybody. Yeah, this is a – Welcome. We got a hot show for you today. Our team of writers ah really got to really got to it.

Speaker: And ah we're going to be talking about um our favorite our favorite politician, Mitch McConnell. Yeah. I have something that I actually want to rant about hard. I'm so upset. I'm so upset.

Speaker: And ah we got some sports shit. We're going to talk in movies. um We're you talking about micro cheating, which is a new term. I've um i I mean, I get it. robert You might be doing it. You don't even know.

Speaker: Am I doing it right now with you on the podcast? It depends. It depends. I guess. OK, I'm going to say I am. And and ah But anywho, and then we got a penetrating question.

Speaker: Got our classic Fire Robin beer. And I think. Cider for this. one excited for Oh, oh, spoilers. And got a cider. Cider. I was. I was. ah I don't know. I was trying to think of like.

Speaker: ah ah I don't know. Oh, you're giving us the insider information. Sure. Yeah. Insider. That's cute. i like what you did there. Yeah.

Speaker: It is a cider, but we'll get to it later. Insider? I barely know her. Robert, let's get deep in it. Let's get deep in Robert. Okay, what? Really? What? Where the fuck is Mitch McConnell?

Speaker: Where in the world is Mitch McConnell? Where is Mitch McConnell? Where is Mitch McConnell? Mitch McConnell, can you hear me? Mitch McConnell, can you hear hear me? Or are you still brain dead?

Speaker: i told you I can sing beautifully. You can. It's very nice. ah But um to answer your question, he's in the grave. I think he's dead. If he's dead or on life support and they haven't declared him dead yet. I mean, yeah, there's no way in fucking hell that he's like happy, healthy, good. I'm just old. Yeah.

Speaker: And, you know, no, no, Paul. No, we're not saying anything political. just he's dead. He's fucking dead. Yeah. Like him or not, he's dead. He has served our country as as a senator for many years. Speak. He was um not speaker, but he was a president of the Senate. I mean, yeah.

Speaker: he's he's i think he's president no that's the vice president never mind don't care but he was you know he was the leader of the republican party in the senate for a while i mean he's you know it's mcconnell do you think he'll be the first dead senator that's still working no i mean that's oh that uh no strong thurmond i think was a senator i could be wrong and he died and i think he was still working Oh, OK.

Speaker: but I'm like, yeah, it's it's it's just it's just like Lindsey Graham. They're like, OK, he's dead. He's dead. Mitch, they're like, i know he's not dead. Where is he? Where's Mitch? Can't find right. Right. Oh, Mitch, where are you?

Speaker: What's the name of Frazier? What's Frazier's? Frazier Crane? No, but the actor. Oh, Kelsey Grammer. Oh, why did I think of? I don't know why i i don't know what you're doing. I thought his last name was Graham or something. But I think, I mean, you know, just declare him dead, fill the seat, and just let's move on. I mean, especially. To sell it and scramble it. I mean, I haven't cared about Mitch McConnell this much ever, and I'm like, well, I want to know if he's dead or alive.

Speaker: I want to know if I'm in his will or not. I doubt it. After all I've done for him. What have you done for Mitch McConnell? Dude, everything. Lied for him.

Speaker: rob Micro cheated for him. You micro cheated. No. for it For Mitch McConnell. No. Sure. For Mitch McConnell. Why not? You know, I mean, hello. hello but the um But don't worry, guys. All the lin listeners of the Down With DP podcast, do not worry.

Speaker: Robin and Ron are on it. We're going to get you the latest updates for the Mitch McConnell ah life expect expectancy life life live stream. like If he's just going to search him right now to see if they declared him dead while we're recording.

Speaker: Oh, there. Remember, there was like a website for like, has Marty gone back in time yet? oh yeah. There should be that for like, is Mitch McConnell dead? but Mitch McConnell. No, just where people ask, where is he His staff is getting paid during his absence.

Speaker: He's not giving up his sentence. These are all just headlines. No, he is still alive as of right now. ah Allegedly. CBS News said headline. He was briefly unconscious.

Speaker: brief oh Oh, is that so? Well, can they can they like live stream his heartbeat on the website? They should be able to. I mean, fuck. I mean, that then will know yeah then we'll know. we'll know.

Speaker: yeah just, you know, it's kind of important that our senators are ah we know are alive. I mean, that's only fair. Yeah. To us and especially the people of Kentucky.

Speaker: Yeah. Yeah, fuck yeah. that's cool. um Well, here's- We should ask the other senator, Rand Paul of Kentucky, if he knows where fucking Mitch McConnell is. Oh, I bet that motherfucker- Where is he, Rand? Where is he?

Speaker: Tell us. Tell the Down With DP podcast. Your father was a better politician than you ever were. Oh, shit. i Come on the podcast. I bet you won't, coward. challenging Rand Paul to be on our show. and I don't know. If we could get Rand Paul on our podcast, that would be pretty cool. That would be pretty cool.

Speaker: i i would love to I would love to be able to steer him back towards his roots of being a libertarian rather than this neoconservative that he's become. but i i think i think I think slowly he's getting back to his libertarian.

Speaker: i would I would have ah Trump on. i don't care. I do not want Donald Trump on this podcast. I would well i would just mean, it would be great publicity for us, but I would not want him on. I would have him read some cold jokes. That's for damn sure.

Speaker: So he would just read his teleprompter like he always does? Yes, yeah, i'm but I'm the one typing it. Oh, okay. Yeah. Apparently he shit himself. and like Is that true?

Speaker: I don't know if it's true. I don't know. I mean... But if he did shit himself, he's 80. yeah He's fucking 80. right So he shit himself. Okay, so what? It happens. It happens. He's fucking 80 years old. The man farted. Okay, he's 80. He's got gas.

Speaker: He eats like shit. What do you expect? I'm sure it's uncomfortable. I'm sure it's not a wonderful thing. but i Yeah. do you think ah Do you think he wipes himself?

Speaker: you he has someone to do it? He seems like the guy who would have someone else do it. don't know. care Do you think someone changes his diaper? ah Maybe. His poopy diaper? you

Speaker: I'm trying not to, I'm not going to insult the man because he shits himself. I'm sorry. I'm not going, cause I'm, yeah I've, I'm already there. Okay. Yeah. so it's Okay. You're not the president. It's fine.

Speaker: Uh, of the class of 2005. Okay. Oh, that's true. That's true. Well, uh, yeah, I don't know where he is. I don't know. Um, if, uh, they secretly order depends at the white house and no one knows about it. Um, we, we don't know. We don't, these are things that we'll never know. We will never know. And, um,

Speaker: Yeah. Yeah. Well, here's one thing that- Are you upset? Yeah. It happened to me the other day. don't go, Robert. Don't be upset. And it's something that I have to talk about right. So, ready for it? Go, buddy.

Speaker: So, Ron, I don't know if you've seen the movie The Odyssey. I have not seen it. Have you seen it? Directed by Christopher Nolan, starring Matt Damon and no one else. And um no, actually, it starred the whole entire cast of Spider-Man. I'm not even joking. It's Spider-Man cast in The Odyssey. But that's not what I'm ranting about. um I went to see it in the IMAX and...

Speaker: And um I don't know the way you said that. I'm sorry. I don't know. Is that is that owned by Apple IMAX? I don't know. um Well, here's the thing. I you know, I went to see it as Nolan attended, which is in the IMAX. And I got it with the with the I think it was a Dolby sound. And, you know, he's been known to be a stickler for sound. And I wanted to see it in all its glory.

Speaker: But dude, I'm not even joking. This is not an old man rant because other people have been writing about this. It was so fucking loud that it you could not enjoy the movie.

Speaker: It was that loud. And and i'm not I swear to you, this is not me over-exaggerating because I heard people talking about it. I'm like, and but is it yeah, I've been to loud movies before. Dude, this, you could not even enjoy it.

Speaker: It was that, it was that fucking loud. Like that' the seats were shaking and it was piercing. It was like everyone left not, and this is supposed to be the big, the big like new Nolan film. Everyone walked out of the out of the theater not saying a fucking word because they just were enjoying the silence.

Speaker: It was so bad. i so like People were holding their ears. Dude, it was such it was probably the most horrible movie experience I've ever had in my life. And not because of like the movie was bad or anything. The movie was fine. It was just, dude, I never want to go through that again. And I don't walk out of movies for nothing, but i would if that happened again, I would probably walk out. It was that it was painful.

Speaker: Pain. So i don't know if you've dealt with that before, but that's me. Or if you've seen the Odyssey, I think you said no. I haven't seen it yet. And based on what you told me, I will probably wait till I can stream it because yeah i don't I don't mind loud. I've been in loud movies before. I mean, yeah.

Speaker: Yeah. But... Yeah, if it's that loud, no thank you. Dude, it was the worst. um And then I heard people that didn't see it in IMAX.

Speaker: ah They're the ones, when I hear people really praise the movie, um usually they haven't seen it in IMAX. And I'm like, okay, so maybe it was like the IMAX Dolby experience that went too hard.

Speaker: But if you saw it, did you see the IMAX like the the actual intended IMAX? Like the 70 millimeter? That's the one. seventy mill ah No, I just saw it in regular IMAX. And ah but lose yeah, I know this it was big enough. It was fine. And what she said.

Speaker: Yeah. Well, ah but yeah, people that didn't see it in IMAX seem to be OK with it. Uh, so I wonder if it was just that. I wonder if it was just like the whole like audio experience that they try to do with IMAX.

Speaker: I don't remember the last movie I saw on IMAX. It's been a while. I think it was Oppenheimer. I think if it was like, ah you know what I think? I think it was Avatar. The first one. I think I saw that. Wow. Yeah, I think I saw that. at Jess and I just started dating. So, you know, we so we love movies. We used to go to see a lot of movies.

Speaker: First movie we saw together was The Hangover. um Oh, that's funny. Yeah. Um... Yeah, i think that was the last IMAX film I saw. three d IMAX, Avatar. Yeah, I think that was it. Yeah. I don't i think it was i think it was Oppenheimer, but um I understand that if you don't have like any kind of subscription, because I have like the AMC A-list thing. ah Yeah, I think Jess has Regal or something like that. Yeah.

Speaker: If you don't have something like that, IMAX tickets are fucking expensive. So I understand. Movies in general are expensive now. remember going as kids, it was like every Friday night we'd go to the movies, it's like five bucks. Yeah. Now it's like, I think to see like films in New York, it's like, I try to go to the local theaters.

Speaker: I have a local theater not too far from me and they're usually cheaper than like AMC or Regal or something like that. um But still, they're fucking expensive. ah That, yeah, I get that. Do you get anything from but from the concession stand?

Speaker: Um, yeah, but, uh, I have my go-tips. Yeah, we we got a thing. They had something at the beginning of the year or somewhere where you could buy a popcorn pass for like 50 bucks. And then it gets you like I think it gets you half off popcorn every time you go.

Speaker: So, yeah, i get the popcorn, but I tend to buy. So funny enough, where I go, ah the Burbank cinema, there's actually in downtown Burbank like a candy shop.

Speaker: Like I i can't not like like ah ah not like a CVS where there's a candy No, no, know what a candy shop, but we have those here in New York, I know what they are. Okay, well, it's like a shop that sells candy, Ron. ah So I went through- Candy man, candy is that That's the cocaine dealer, right? The drug dealer?

Speaker: Okay. Just making sure. Candyman. Because that's what he wants me to call him, Candyman.

Speaker: But yeah, we can ah go through. and We go to the candy shop, and then we go get the popcorn at the movie theater. So, yeah. What candy do you get now? This is getting entertaining Okay, so at the candy shop, Ron, I get the sour ribbons.

Speaker: Look at you. I like it. Yeah. And I also get, i like the chocolate-covered honeycomb, and I also like ah Reese's Pieces.

Speaker: Who doesn't? and um Which is not Reese's Pieces. No, it's Reese's Pieces. Let's get this right. Reese's Pieces. You fucking ingrate trash.

Speaker: You trash. You know that you're fucking trash. You're fucking trash. And really just a bunch of chocolate stuff. It's like one of those like you buy it by the pound. i kind of just grab a bunch of chocolate shit. Get some sour shit.

Speaker: Get some popcorn shit. Get some Diet Coke shit. any ah So Diet Coke is the beverage you get? Hell yeah. But I go to that fancy Coca-Cola machine where you can choose all the different flavors where i think it's I think it's almost too many choices. And then I'll do like a cherry Diet Coke.

Speaker: So Jess and i what we do, we get big bag of popcorn. Big old bag of popcorn. Big old bag of popcorn. We share it. And we get big old. Macho bag of popcorn. Exactly. And we get it and we get a ah big thing of cherry Coke. Always cherry Coke.

Speaker: If not cherry Coke, regular You know what? You know what my first ah introduction to Cherry Coke was that I really loved it? um You'll know this and all the Spring Hillians will know. Sunco's skating ring. Oh, Sunco's skating. Oh, yeah. Right there on County Line. Yeah. Yeah. i I love that. And I remember I would get a slice of pizza and I would always get a Cherry Coke there. And that's one of the it's weird. I remember weird stuff like memories that stick with me. And ah getting a Cherry Coke at at that skating ring was always like something I remember. I remember finding out, my friend told me he was...

Speaker: Canadian. Oh yeah. Whoa. Did you say we don't want you to get married? No, no, no. Cause he always said, he always said out and house with a real like Ontario type accent. Loved hockey.

Speaker: Uh, no, he say his name, his name Alex. Actually. I don't know. I don't know where he is. Have to do it. Liking hockey. I don't know. Okay. Oh, he, Eddie liked hockey. No, no, no, no. His name was Alex. No, no, that was alex i oh i know no. alex I think he was from, i think he was from Toronto. Yeah. But, uh, he told me one day, he's like, yeah, but I say that cause I'm Canadian. I'm like,

Speaker: why why yeah Fucking Canadian. Yeah, know. I love Canada. Look at us now. yeah I don't know where he is. I stop i think after fourth grade, I don't know where he went. So I have no idea where Alex is. Alex, if you're out there, hope you're doing well.

Speaker: Yeah, hope you're okay. Send in a penetrating question, Alex. Yeah. mean if Tell me if you love that sweet, sweet hockey. um yeah And ah yeah, at least- Why did that feel so fucking creepy? I don't know, man. I don't know. But I did love skating rink at Suncoast Skating Rink. it' now It's now like a gymnastics thing. Or it might be a rink again. Yeah, I can't remember. Yeah, I feel like it is something like that.

Speaker: um i would love, I don't know if, I assume the inside is all different now. No, when I went last time, it was just basically the skating rink with a bunch of mats and like ah ah poles and bars and stuff like that. Oh, really? i would love to visit that just to get that nostalgia. That was maybe about 10, 15 years ago. So yeah, okay a long time ago.

Speaker: my yeah My sister was there for something or her my niece was there for something. Yeah. Yeah. Man, i used to love that place. That place was the fucking shit, bro. you go in the corner and make out. yeah Yeah. Yeah. But not if you're with someone, though. no Right?

Speaker: No. Because that would be cheating. Cheating. Or would it be micro-cheating? Micro-cheating. Have you heard this? Or is it macro-cheating, brother? Have you heard of this micro-cheating thing, brother?

Speaker: Uh, no, I get it by hearing it, but I don't know. Something like if let's say you look at porn, that might be considered micro cheating. I only do that like after I read my Bible, then I look at porn just to cleanse myself. If you're looking up an old girlfriend, that might be considered micro cheating or talking to her.

Speaker: Micro cheating. Yeah. Yeah. I think if you talk, I don't talk to any my exes, but if you did, it's not like horrible. long as it's nothing sexual behind it or intentions of getting with the person.

Speaker: I think the term is overused. Like, if you create a dating profile just to look at other women, that's a conversation. That's kind of... Well, just having a dating profile in general, don't know what excuse you could come up with. I've never had a dating profile. I've never been done online dating. I met my wife at work, where you're not supposed to anymore. Apparently, that's frowned upon.

Speaker: But, um ah yeah. Like they say, flirting is also, you know... micro-cheating. I mean, yes and no. I mean, I work in customer service, so I work on an airplane, so there's always a little flirtation going on. My wife bartends as well, so there's always a little flirtation going on. She's making tips, bro. She gotta work.

Speaker: Yeah, and I notice um just the way I talk to people sometimes, ah it's um I think it's because maybe it's the draw of wanting them to like me um that can come off flirtatious, but not in a sensual way. you know not but Yeah, I'm not like, hey, what's going on, sugar? like your shirt. sugar i love yeah I like how tight that shirt is, ah buddy.

Speaker: and in um oh God. Yeah. ah I was talking to him. I'm uncomfortable. ah I'm in danger. That's what it I was thinking of Ralph exactly. That's what I did. Yeah. Oh, I'm in danger.

Speaker: But um yeah, I think talking to an ex for sure. That's weird because I've always been since I entered the dating scene, have always like I forget about the ex and I move on completely.

Speaker: I've just always been like that. I'm like, I like doesn't mean I don't have like that heartbreak period. Of course you have that. But once that's over, then I'm like, I have no reason to secretly. All all you know all my exes and I don't have many.

Speaker: All of them are married. All of them have kids. yeah And i ah I think some of them still live in Florida or the South.

Speaker: um Yeah. Yeah. I'm, yeah. So that back when I was a kid, yeah. You know, that they all worked. But as an adult? huh Yeah.

Speaker: Yeah. i actually had a friend who... ah yeah and And I love her to death. She's a good friend. But I had a friend who ah lived her roommates were her ex and her new boyfriend.

Speaker: And a few other roommates. It was like a full house. And I was I was. But I think there was so much time between when they first dated that it's I don't think they ever thought of each other again like that. my And I never I never picked up a vibe that they did either. Yeah, no, no. um My ex cracked a joke on my Facebook one time.

Speaker: It was during COVID and I just wrote like, just, I love you all. I just wrote that just trying to be positive, trying to be nice. And she does a whole meme like, oh yeah, sure. Heard that one before. I'm like, motherfucker.

Speaker: But it was funny. It was funny. It was all good. Yeah, no, it wasn't. It wasn't, you know, malicious. Yeah, yeah. It was all in good fun. I'm like, that's, I got a good laugh. Yeah, she sounds great. She's a good person. She's a person. I'm only kidding. I'm just... She's nice person. But yeah, I think secretly talking and that... Yeah, I would think that would be like in that micro realm. That's fucking weird. I don't know. Yeah, I mean...

Speaker: Do I have friends that are girls that I text? Very few. Very, very few. Same, because I mean, acting, I've met actors and actresses and ah just but no romantic involvement. No, no. One of them is a coworker that I've known since training. Right. One of them is a friend from being my friend Lynn. I will message her for like if we're making plans with a group of friends, I'll message her.

Speaker: um And my friend Larissa, who I've known since I was, you know, she's at my second birthday. I've known her my whole life. So those are kind of the only ones i really like. Yeah, and you know what? LA is a very particular – I mean, I guess this can happen in New York too. When I first moved to LA, which was forever years ago, ah you start doing background work. You start being an extra and stuff. And you always meet – you meet a slew of characters. In fact, probably most of my friends online I've met through doing background work, just being an extra.

Speaker: And guys, girls, everyone. And – ah Some of them I keep up with. I'm like, hey, how how are you doing? um And you see them, they get married, they they go off and do things. um Yeah, it's it's just weird in the background realm. I will say this, though. This may sound old-fashioned, but I do believe that men and women cannot be friends.

Speaker: Unless, unless they have a long past, like I've, like I said, my friend Larissa, I've known since I was you know one, two years old. She's like a sister to me, so I've known her forever. um Or like, if you're in a relationship, she's in a relationship, and they're good relationships, and there's no intention, that may be the only way. Otherwise, i don't i don't think a single man and a single woman could be friends without something eventually happening.

Speaker: Um, I don't know. don't think I guess it depends. Like, uh, like, again, if you get into that Because I've definitely had that break of like, I don't know, you'd call it the sisterhood, like kind of what you said. Yeah. Where it's like, yeah it's just any kind of.

Speaker: Excuse me. Potentialness is like turned off. It's just. It's not that it's not it's not there. Never. um So I've. ah But there are people I know who are i like friends that I've had throughout the years. Never had any intention of doing anything with them. Wouldn't even want to if I was single today. no um But I could be friends with them. ah so Yeah, I would say you can. it's just depends. Yeah, I don't think it's possible. I don't. But here's the thing. I will say this.

Speaker: If you are someone that's like, hey, there are my friend and you do pick up some kind of weird vibes like I feel like they do kind of want something more.

Speaker: That's when I'm like, that's when I would have to like back off. Be like, all right, there's a wall here. the event that somebody is interested in me, even though they know I'm in a very committed marriage, I pull myself out of the situation.

Speaker: out the street. That's what I mean. That's what I mean. Absolutely. Yeah. i'm like, no, we can't really be friends. No. Yeah. No. Yeah. Not that I hit want it would do anything, but like the fact that you're coming on to me is kind of disrespectful.

Speaker: Even though you know I'm in a marriage. So i'm like, no, thanks. Yeah, I get that for sure. But if Jess wants to, you know, do it with, the then it may be, you know, all three. Right, right. But that's a whole other conversation yeah that we can have.

Speaker: um I'm in a committed marriage. It's it's monogamy. that's That's how it works. Right, right. no But um was there anything, ah like, were there examples that you read about micro cheating? Because I was doing some. Like i like i said, um the dating profile, like I said, yeah.

Speaker: dating profile, talking to old exes, flirting, flirting, things like that, but like looking at porn or looking at Instagram models or something like those are considered micro cheat. And I'm like looking at the whole, okay, I can understand the dating profile, talk secretly talking to an ex. I can understand those things.

Speaker: Yeah. Looking at Warren, that That sounds more like someone who's like hyper-religious, not liking that. No, some people just don't like it. And it's like, yeah okay, I'll be honest here. I'm on a layover.

Speaker: I'm bored. I'm in a state where it's legal. I don't have to register. Yeah, I might look at porn. I might look at porn. Oh, okay. um Well, you know, southern states, you have to register for all this shit. You have to like type in your... Yeah.

Speaker: If you go to Florida and try to look at porn... I've tried to look at porn in so many states. Uh-huh, uh-huh. If you try to look at porn in, like, Florida, Texas, or someplace, Louisiana, they make you register. Wow. That's crazy. I'm not putting my name into a database where, you know, just not doing that. I'm sorry. Yeah, yeah. Fuck off. You don't need to know that I... The state doesn't need to know I'm looking at Right, right. um There was also something I saw that I thought was interesting.

Speaker: I don't know if it was in the porn realm. but I mean, i mean if if you're looking at porn more than looking at your partner, then that would be a problem. Oh, I was going to say, ah you know something I've never been ever, and this is honest, ah even when I was single, I've never been the guy who adds like Instagram models.

Speaker: I don't treat my Instagram as like a portal for porn. I have a few models that I follow. One of them always pops up. I don't know what the other one. ah One of them is also pregnant now. So she's kind of. Yeah. pop So she's out of here. Yeah. She's got unfollow that. Unfollow. No, one of there's one I follow and she pops up on my feet every now and then. And yeah, she has a great personality out here. She's awesome. She probably does. i don't know, but she's hot. I'm sorry. You know, it's not.

Speaker: Yeah. Is it a portal to porn? Yeah, I guess. Maybe. Yeah, I don't know. I've just never done that. But what you know it annoys me what I try to honestly on my Instagram, I try to follow more food things than anything else, especially now that I'm in the gluten free life. I did gluten free everything. my Yeah, I follow a lot of meme pages. And here is a dilemma. I think we've talked about this before. And I hate that this happens.

Speaker: Most meme pages that I follow eventually get taken up by an OnlyFans model. Oh, it's annoying as shit. It's annoying as shit. And I open up Instagram and it's like fucking porn. It's not just like someone taking a sexy photo. No, it's borderline soft core porn.

Speaker: Oh, absolutely. Like there'll be like an art page that I really like. And and that's really fucking cool. And the next thing you know, this girl's on her knees putting her hair up in a ponytail. Yeah. And I'm like, this isn't what I i mean. This is nice, but this isn't what I want. Yeah. this I wanted the cool art designs.

Speaker: Right, right. if if ah If a model pops up on my feed, I always check the comments. And usually they're all like, why did I start following her? They're all confused. like it's an be like I think the page was actually called Art by Design or something like that. And it had a lot of cool shit. And then all of a sudden, titties, titties, titties, titties. And I'm like, oh, those are nice titties, but I want the art. That's why I follow this page. yeah So I end up unfollowing.

Speaker: I wanted to laugh. I want i mean i like i mean, like I said, they were nice titties. But that's not what I wanted at that moment in time. yeah didn't want it. You're forcing your titties on me. No. Stop it.

Speaker: stop Get out of here. Get the titties out of here. My God. oh I'm not a micro-cheater. Get out of here. I'm not. um They're nice, though. they're real They look real. Get them out of here. but no yeah um I want the pretty flowers, damn it. Not your flower. The pretty ones. and I know. Yeah.

Speaker: Uh, what was I going to say? So I do like it when I run into a meme page and it's clearly like a guy that's like does content and I'm like, okay, ah he'll probably be around. But, but I do follow me pages that are like craziest Karens. I'm like, I know this is going to turn only fans in a few months, but I'm going to enjoy it for now. Do you ever, do you ever follow up or look at like workout things on your Instagram?

Speaker: No, I don't really. Every once in a while i will. And then like I'll go to search something. And i swear to God, I think my Instagram thinks I'm bisexual now because it just sends me things that are not necessarily workout things. I'm like, right no, I don't want to look at the hot guy. I'm trying to get my form right on a certain exercise.

Speaker: I don't know. Do you think that social media just pushes sexual stuff on anyway? Because I swear to God, dude, I don't search for this shit and I'll still get like on the recommended stuff like weird sexual stuff. And I'm like, I'm not looking this in here. And I and I try to follow as many funny shit so that I get pushed more funny shit. We're talking about I'm going to pull my Instagram right now to see what's the first thing that pops up. Yeah, here we go.

Speaker: actors who Actors who went back to normal jobs. Wow. awesome The Mets, ESPN, Burger Place, more sports, sports, food.

Speaker: Okay, letby sparo to be fair, actually, I just looked at mine, and it's it's ah it's all just meme stuff and the Pink Power Ranger, so maybe that's a little something-something there. Okay, the search thing? Oh, the search thing? Let's see. Wrestling...

Speaker: Oh, well, the search search doesn't count because that's what Utah thing. In Jersey town, there's I mean, just pulling it up, yeah. so The last thing I searched for was Drink the Piss Song. Look that up.

Speaker: Actually, i sent it to you. This is a fun tattoo, though. Look at that. i don't know if you can see it. It's overexposed, but I believe you. It was the Ninja Turtles as the Golden Girls. It was pretty cool. do you Do you know that guy that they filmed in New York who is like, he he looks like a troll and he's like yelling at the saxophone player something. He's like, who the are you? Who the fuck are you? You're nothing. ah That's that was the first thing on my on my suggested guy.

Speaker: Oh, my. I love it, though. i I love that rant and I've seen parodies of it. It's so fucking funny, dude. I fucking love it. Love it. um But ah yeah. Yeah. So, I mean, mike like I said, micro cheating. It's just to close out on this. It's I think it's it's depends on the couple. But I mean, i think it can go overboard. I think people abuse the term. I think people get offended too easily. Yeah. um Yeah.

Speaker: There we go. That's it. Yeah. I definitely have had because I think my personality can come off flirtatious. But look what you're doing right now? I know I'm doing I'm literally doing it right now. All all the. Where are your hands Robert? where your head oh wouldn't you like to know.

Speaker: um All the people are just drawn to my voice my sexy voice. um So. it moved. Yeah. It moved. Oh God.

Speaker: um So ah but speaking of things that really turn on women let's talk about sports.

Speaker: We can talk sports, we can talk sports and then we'll do the cold jokes outside. Sweet, all right. This is Ron with sports.

Speaker: Well, the only thing that's really on my mind right now, Robert, is the fact that the MLB trade deadline is done. All trades are finalized. The Los Angeles Dodgers, your team, oh is completely fucking stacked right now. oh shit. They're probably going to win the World Series. Here's the problem, though.

Speaker: Next year, the Major League Baseball, they want teams to have a salary cap of $245 million. The Dodgers' current payroll next year is $325 million.

Speaker: What's probably going to happen next year, Robert? The players viewing players association? Probably going to strike. Probably going to have a strike next year, which terrifies me. I hope they can resolve this. No baseball would break my fucking heart this summer.

Speaker: I am trying to visit all the stadiums. Break my heart. Tampa Bay Rays got some good some good players, got added to their pitching rotation. What else? Yeah, that's all I have for you, Robert. Just might be a strike next year.

Speaker: keep a lookout for that. Well, three strikes. You're out, Ron. That's a baseball reference. That's Ron with sports. All right. um but but Now let's talk about something that really makes women hot. Spider-Man.

Speaker: Oh, I love Did you see Spider-Man yet? I have none because it's sold out everywhere. Sold out? Oh, that's so was my problem with the Odyssey but and and Spider-Man. Spider-Man is sold out everywhere. Yeah, yep.

Speaker: um I hear it's great, though. Yeah, i saw it. fantastic I did see it. You did see it? What'd you think? I really liked it. New director this time. It's been the same director for the first three Spider-Man films. New director. And it definitely feels different in a good way.

Speaker: ah It's great. i love that um ah I love that Spider-Man. And one one of the things I liked at the end of the third movie, when we like see him swinging around at the end, ah was I like that they went back to basics. It's like a brand new day, if you will.

Speaker: and And Spider-Man is no longer having that Tony Stark shit. He just has Spider-Man fucking cloth or whatever, you know, whatever he makes a suit out of. um And ah there is something I would i wish that they did push on, but I think I would.

Speaker: It's not really a spoiler. It's not a spoiler. So, well, it may be it. is Are you convincing yourself this or? No, you know what? I'm not going to say it because I hate I hate I hate. You know what? I hate micro spoilers.

Speaker: And what a micro spoiler is like, like i if I am today, Robin, you're on fire. did I know it's like if, ah you know, it's like if you said I'm trying to think of a.

Speaker: any kind of movie. Like if you saw some movie and you're like, yeah, I mean, you know, ah the main character, you know, when he saves the day at the end, it's like, that's a micro spoiler. Well, that's like a micro spoiler telling me that someone doesn't die is also a spoiler to me.

Speaker: Like if I was like, well, yeah, you know, and then at the end, Spider-Man's fine. Like, you don't know, like maybe, maybe, maybe they fucking knock him out. Maybe this is the last. You ruined this for me, Robert. You ruined it. By the way, I just said that as an example. im not saying anything. God damn it, you suck, bitch. That's that's my my point is that I don't want to know shit.

Speaker: Don't tell me if the hero lives or dies. I don't want to know anything. So, yeah, I'm going to avoid the spoiler. But I will say that it was good. ah Punisher. that you saw in the trailers, he's in it.

Speaker: They have a good, they have good chemistry, a back and forth. And, and it's weird because they also work together in the Odyssey, like their scenes with both of them. So I saw the Odyssey and Spider-Man on the same day.

Speaker: Back to ah two different movies in theaters. Yeah, that is a flex. That's a flex.

Speaker: Yeah, put that in your algorithm and smoke it. So I saw Spider-Man and I couldn't get out of my head because I saw the Odyssey second and nothing would I say makes sense. And ah yeah, I couldn't. I couldn't. I'm like, I'm watching Spider-Man and the Punisher. I can't get out of my head. I, you know, that's awesome. But you'll like it. You'll like it.

Speaker: All right. It's not it's not loud. No, it's normal volume at a reasonable volume. My wife says last night, she's like, it's a shame. Nobody's watching Supergirl. Oh, well, heard that was, I haven't seen it. Two things. One, Supergirl, not the greatest superhero of all times, woman or not.

Speaker: um i think I think she was kind of leaning more towards the fact that the woman thing, but like, honey, you can't compare Spider-Man to Supergirl. Yeah. Also, we're in New York.

Speaker: We're in fucking Queens. Okay? Where Spider-Man lives. yeah Not my favorite Marvel superhero, though. im Just going to say. Oh, I think he's probably my favorite so Marvel. Which is Marvel superhero? Daredevil.

Speaker: Really? Okay. I never really got too much in it. I didn't watch the show. heard it was good. watched the show. Obviously, the Ben Affleck movie. I saw that in theaters. That wasn't too loud. I saw... Yeah, I've seen all the shows. Electra? Did you see the Electra spinoff? Don't talk about it.

Speaker: Okay. Okay. I did once and I like wanted to kill myself afterwards. all alright Right, right. That and yeah, I read the first volume of the comics that they have. Yeah. So I've done some Daredevil work and Daredevil is it's fantastic. It's kind of i like he's kind of like Batman. and some Yeah.

Speaker: Kind of more actually more like Batman because he's blind. Exactly. But also, like, it's kind of cool what Daredevil does because Daredevil doesn't have the money that Bruce Wayne does. Yeah, that'll do it. So it's kind of cool. And he does have a disability. So, yeah, Daredevil's fucking cool. love Daredevil. Right.

Speaker: That's cool. Did you like, ah he had a little cameo in No Way Home in the third Spider-Man movie. Yes, he did. that's That was cool. i thought the I thought the brick catch was really cool. Yeah, just, i just he's awesome.

Speaker: I wish that they did more with that. Spider-Man's also awesome. I do wish that there was some kind of scene where, Peter Parker is in court and Daredevil is like, you know, yeah helping him out. That would be funny. But um I don't know if he's is he's a criminal lawyer.

Speaker: Daredevil? Yeah, yeah he's yeah he's the okay he's usually defending criminals and stuff like that. and he He's able to detect our pulse and stuff like that, so he knows if they're telling the truth or not. Oh, that's cool. I like that. His superpowers like he were never meant... The acid that hit him in the eyes, um watching his dad get beaten or some shit like that, was never meant... It's just fucking cool. It's just cool.

Speaker: yeah I like it. too He never meant to have powers. He was just a poor kid from Hell's Kitchen. Um... Watching his dad, you know, trying to fight. it just Dad because he owes money. or He was was supposed to throw the fight and didn't. yeah Okay. Daredevil's cool. Daredevil's cool shit.

Speaker: And it takes place in New York, motherfucker. Yeah, New York. New York. Concrete jungle where Spider-Man is filmed. um But ah did you see any of the – did you notice any streets getting shut down? mean, that's like asking me if I saw anything. I'm in the city too much, so no, I didn't notice anything. um I'm sure it did, but i'm like I said, I'm not in the city too much. I haven't been in a while.

Speaker: Yeah. But, um you know, because, you know, i'm fascinated with ah locations. And last night there was a movie that I watched for the first time ah from 2004 or five. ah It was called She's the Man.

Speaker: Amanda Bynes and Channing Tatum, which I didn't know he was in it. Yeah. Young Channing. Yeah. I haven't seen that movie in long Yeah. And, uh, that's when she, that's when she like goes to a soccer camp or something like that. Yeah. Yeah. And then they she turns into Ellen DeGeneres and plays soccer and yeah.

Speaker: And it's,

Speaker: christmas Oh, man, you are you were on fire today. i'm loving this. I'm loving this. And oh yeah I have to give some ah some applause to Amanda Bynes.

Speaker: Super funny. I was expecting to go in thinking it was going to be like kind of lame, like ah they're going to some crackpot jokes. And ah but you could tell the the girl had a knack for comedy. And mean, if you remember her from all that, the all that day, she was yeah she was a good addition to the cast. Yeah.

Speaker: I remember the first episode she was in. She was like the new added cast member. Yeah. Yeah. The whole opening set opening sketch was are her as the new cast member. Yeah. She replaced, I believe, with Angelique Bates is, I believe, who she replaced. OK.

Speaker: And ah yeah, super funny. And. um What else is going to say? Oh, yeah. Speaking of ah locations, it all takes place at a college college or college. Right. Yeah. They're college. And I think they're college. Yeah. Yeah. Because they go to a new school. Has to be. So ah filmed at three different schools in Vancouver.

Speaker: so They do a lot of filming in Vancouver. They do a lot of filming there. And they made it look like one big school. But, you know, the field was one school. There was a, you know, for the exterior, another school. um But, yeah, I really, you know, it does hurt to see, like, you know, she got she went through some shit. And I'm not, you know.

Speaker: I mean, the whole thing the whole thing in Nickelodeon, that whole thing. Right. oh and She was part of that. um She was part of all that. It's funny. Yeah. shit And just you know the pressures of Hollywood and just, you know, just, yeah.

Speaker: I mean, it happens to, unfortunately, ah yeah it happens to a lot of child stars. Yeah. I mean, but like are ah she tattooed her face all crazy. Yeah, she tattooed. I mean, each to their own, but like, but like you're no, think she's got like more work and stuff like Yeah. I mean, she could do whatever she wants, obviously, but it's like, yeah, it's just, you know, I don't know. I mean, yeah the only thing she's really able to do now is like if SLC Punk had a sequel, like that's pretty much it. Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker: I feel I feel for her. I do. Because, you know, growing up, you know, we loved her. She was great. and We should write a movie called and a bag of chips and ask her if she wants to be in it.

Speaker: Oh, wait, no, I was thinking of something else. I was thinking of that she's all that, but no, she's the man. I was going to say she's all that and a bag of chips, but that doesn't make any sense. She's the man. Oh, Robert.

Speaker: Anyway. You're doing so well. I don't know. Look, I'm trying to come up with something. You came up with something. It's great because you're trying to come up with something because you didn't write a cold joke, did you? That's true. Here, did you my cold mike oh i said oh Oh, we're going to get right. Okay. Right now.

Speaker: Well, I want to ask one question. Sure. Don't read it. Okay. Okay. Here we go. ah wait

Speaker: Oh, wait. Also, I just realized I think I did the wrong intro for Robert Rance. It worked. Yeah, it did work. Whoops. Sorry, guys. um All Cold joke from Ron, and I'm going to finish my thought. No, you did the right one, I think.

Speaker: Okay. What what do... what what do What do Mitch McConnell and Bigfoot have in common? They both claim to exist and yet we can't find them. So my question to you is, are they the same thing?

Speaker: um No, I mean, Bigfoot walks better. i don't think Mitch McConnell could walk like that. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know.

Speaker: But great joke, Ron.

Speaker: Literally.

Speaker: So I was going to ask. At least I wrote one. Yeah, that's true. Well, you know, ah one can debate if what what is better. But I want to ask. Oh, God.

Speaker: There we go. fucker did you Did you know that she did a podcast, Amanda Bynes? I think so. So I just looked at because i went down to Amanda Bynes' rabbit hole.

Speaker: And saw. What? I said pause. Pause. And ah she did a... Here's the thing. She did a podcast with this other dude who... ah She did one episode and one episode only. She was interviewing some tattoo artists and...

Speaker: She couldn't get two words in otherwise. This other guy was fucking obnoxious and took over the whole podcast. And she was basically sitting there silent the whole time, which is odd. So here's the thing I ask you as ah she was a performer.

Speaker: You know, obviously obviously the characters she played are not real life. Right. You know, I've I've seen this is not to name. I mean, Ellen DeGeneres is real. Ellen DeCentres is real.

Speaker: When I saw Robin Williams, it's not like he was this kooky out of his chair jumping around Robin Williams. He was quiet and that could be her. That probably, well that is her from what I could tell. And so, but ah there is something about being like when the camera is on, like for a performer to go on. And I just wonder if she would have been able to like showcase more of that if she didn't have this overbearing co-host. And I wonder if that was the reason why it even lasted only one episode. I don't really know. Yeah.

Speaker: Because she's so funny. Like there's talent in there. And I just, I wonder how she would do solo podcast. What do you think? Yeah. i met She'd probably do all right. I mean, it's, it's, you've done a solo podcast. It's challenging.

Speaker: Yeah, it is. It's challenging. Well, I, I, sorry. I mean like solo pod, like she'll have guests, but it's just her talking to them. I think she, I mean, how would start? Well, no, he had, he had a, what's her name? Robin with her for years. Um, yeah.

Speaker: It can be done. i mean, yeah, I think it can be done. I think that actually that would be good if she had someone. um The Amanda Bynes podcast. Yeah. And and maybe sure she cannna go here she can call it the Amanda show.

Speaker: Oh, and did see it see like oh it would just be called the Amanda podcast. Probably. Yeah, I see. I see the Amanda podcast show. Yeah, there you go. That works. Yeah. Also, shout out to Amanda Bynes. We're down to have you as a guest. We'd love yeah that would that. I subscribe to. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I would love to have her as a guest. um Yeah, I think i it it just opened my eyes because I never watched the Amanda Bynes show. I only saw her on all that. I just watched the Amanda show. was fun. Yeah, I watched some of it.

Speaker: um But yeah, anyway, just something that just was in my noggin. like it. I wanted to talk about. like it. Definitely more millennials. But when when it comes to the Gen Z crowd, though, something that I've noticed that Gen Z's aren't doing and it has been affecting the industry is their lack of drinking. So have you noticed that? Oh, 100 percent. So they do not. Gen z doesn't drink.

Speaker: um about i think it's like 20 to 30 percent the less than previous generations that i read and the reason for this is they're more focused on fitness which is a great thing and more focused on fitness they don't like the hangovers because we all love hangovers um they weed is more accessible now for that generation so they and they don't really know how to socialize other than their devices That's true. So that kind of it also jumps. But then there's like at my bar that I do bingo at on Thursday nights.

Speaker: It's I kid you not. It's fucking college night. So a but a lot of young kids are there. My friend who works at the sister bar of my my bar in Bayside, Queens. He said Tuesday night, lot of young kids. So I think there's still some places that drink a lot. I think New York is going to be always be one of those cities where kids or younger people drink because. Yeah. How you have fun in New York.

Speaker: One of the way, one of the ways to have fun and meet people is to go out and drink. um but the mocktails are more of a scene now i see yeah that's true i hear i hear that i mean they they were just called virgin drinks back then now they're called mocktails also i believe um tom holland even has a line of like alcoholic free beer or something yeah no um or unless it's flavored water i don't know so hop water is a thing now yeah hop flavored water which is non-alcoholic uh there's not all No, no, no, no. We've talked about this before. Non-alcoholic beer. Oh, popular and popular in Germany.

Speaker: Yeah. But like it's more there are more options here in the States now. Guinness has a zero. Stella has a zero. So it's called Bureau, which I assume is a beer beer and hero. Yeah. assume that's what it is, um because he I mean, he had ah apparently a boozy problem and. ah Yeah, he started because I do every celebrity is coming out with a tequila.

Speaker: fuck Everyone. So it's like, yeah, let's start coming out with an alcoholic free is probably the best thing he could have done. yeah no, I the athletic brewing company is actually pretty good. Yeah, their beers are actually pretty tasty. and I do want to try it. i do want not alcohol at their point five. um It's hard to find gluten free non-alcoholic beer. there There's like one company that does it, but it is very difficult to do that. And I've looked for it. It's just it is difficult. um Yeah, I think it's Lyres or Leers. It's pronounced L-Y-R-E. They do a whole line of non-alcoholic spirits.

Speaker: Okay. Oh, which is, you know, for people that because sometimes you even for me, like sometimes I'll go out. I want food. I don't necessarily want to drink. Yeah. Yeah. like and But to feel like I'm drinking.

Speaker: Sure. Why not? Yeah. It's just that it's just that my whole thinking is if I'm going to pay $15 for a mocktail, I might as well pay $16 for the cocktail. Yeah, that's true. It's like, if I'm paying this much, i but it the head comes down do do you want to drink? do you not want to drink?

Speaker: what it comes down to. Yeah, I think that's because I watched documentary of Gordon Ramsay, which was really good about him opening a new restaurant in London. And he mentions that. He's like, yeah, the newer generation sales of alcohol is nowhere near where it used to be. But also it's like back in the day, like I do think if I had to guess what Gen Z's are into is probably more vaping.

Speaker: than anything vaping yeah that makes sense so but back in the day when kids like drank they're sure there was weed but i feel like alcohol was still the dominating like 100 to do you know 100 yeah i mean because it wasn't just smoking weed you were socializing as well you're going to meet right you right you'll ask anyone in especially europe especially like ah ireland or england they're going to the fucking pub they're going to the tavern yeah because there's a community that Get a fucking pint? Hell yeah. Because there's a community there. Like, my bar, like, in my Uber, I call it church.

Speaker: Like, because I have such a good community group of friends. We have laughed together. We have cried together. It's, I mean, it can be a healthy thing. doesn't necessarily mean it's unhealthy. Okay. Now, when you go there seven days a week, yeah, it's kind of unhealthy, which I don't do. But my point is,

Speaker: Yeah, i I think the younger people should drink more. I do because it's a great way to socialize. And I, um oh so you're saying they should drink more. i think so. Yeah. or they Get out and meet people.

Speaker: Talk. Yeah, i guess I mean, you can do that without the alcohol because I've noticed. You can. Sure. Let's go to a milk bar. Sure. Oh, I love milk. Let's do it. um But I noticed I've definitely drank a lot less. And um yeah, I don't know. I just don't. Even when I was at Comic-Con, i had a drink or two, which is which is such a big contrast to the previous year where I got fucked up at Comic-Con and I had a huge hangover. It was bad. I drink. I drink. i I'm not going to deny it. I drink. I do. yeah Obviously, I have my fire oven beer ready to go. yeah i mean Actually, every time I see you, you drink. No, I don't. That's not true. That's not true. Because of the fire oven beer. No, but there have been weeks I haven't done

Speaker: Okay. Okay. Sorry. so we time sorry Three times. so I've counted. Three times. ah No, i think I think it's like two or three times. Yeah. A couple weeks ahead. um So, yeah. but ah Also, because I try not to drink all the time.

Speaker: Yeah. that That's also part of the reason. It's like, why aren't you doing a fire-robin beer? Because I just woke up 45 minutes ago I don't feel like drinking. Right, right. Not the case today, but it's fine. Hey, but I mean, i get that.

Speaker: i get that. um So... I think the point is, let's get out and socialize, you know, let's let's do it safely without micro-cheating, and I think we'll be fine. And then, um... Oh, you gotta you got it got a light on you?

Speaker: Oh, what the hell? People not watching the video, Ron had some kind of strobe light, and I was like, this is not rave music. This is actually...

Speaker: Yeah. I was thirsty. Anyway, I was thirsty after. Okay, fine. ah We have one penetrating question, Robert. One. Let me refresh. Maybe we have two. I don't know.

Speaker: Who knows? The answer no, Rick. No, we have no, no, Biff. We have one it's from it's a me Mario. I love Mario. I know he's a nice and he's like, what is your favorite cream pie?

Speaker: um i don't remember her name, but what's your favorite cream pie and li is little Debbie involved. oh Oh, her name wasn't Debbie, but ah so the oatmeal cream pie from little Debbie is amazing.

Speaker: Yes, I agree. I cannot eat it anymore. However, there is a gluten-free alternative that is better than the Little Debbie one. Really? Because the cinnamon and vanilla come through a lot more, so it just tastes better.

Speaker: Well, ah so cream pie, in this sense, just refers to like any of those like snacks that like Devil Dogs, anything like that? i think so. Or Boston cream pie, that's also one.

Speaker: OK, because, ah well, I mean, if we're if we're talking like, you know, the bottom shelf pastries, which are delicious, by the way, i would I love zebra cakes. Zebra cakes are good. Yeah, I love zebra cakes. ah Very, very much so. And I do crave them and I resist buying them.

Speaker: So I I ah unfortunately can't anymore. But yeah, oatmeal cream pies it also and also like I used to enjoy a Boston cream. Like an actual Boston cream. Boston cream is my favorite donut.

Speaker: Is it? Yes. My favorite donut. If you get me a donut, make sure it's Boston cream, brother. Fuck yeah, bro. Yeah. Boston cream is good. I think Duncan's is a little eh.

Speaker: Really? That's my favorite one. It's a good one. i've had better. Well, here's the thing. I also think I like Dunkin' Donuts Boston cream pie the most because of ah just nostalgia. Not even nostalgia, just like it's ingrained in me now since a child.

Speaker: You know what i mean? it's Yeah. Yeah. I've always enjoyed, I'll be honest, I've always enjoyed the, what do you call it, the ah Bavarian cream, the powdered sugar versus the chocolate on there. I've always enjoyed that better. Yeah.

Speaker: ah You know something, I know this is a little bit away from the question, but you know what I actually like, and I know I'm a minority here, I will literally buy a regular ass Hershey bar.

Speaker: Just a Hershey. You are yeah definitely the minority. Just a regular straight up Hershey a regular straight up. not not a um Not like a special dark or anything like that, just straight up.

Speaker: No almonds. It's... I mean, I like the ones with almonds, but sometimes... I don't know I can continue working with you now. This is just fucking... i you know i know that I know that American Hershey chocolate, I think, is a little bit different, right? so it's just It's a lot of sugar. That's yeah pretty much it. there's milk and Milk chocolate is milk chocolate, but Hershey's is particularly sweet compared to other chocolates. So, I mean, it's good. It's tasty, but it's a little too sweet for me. i will If I'm going to go Hershey's straight flavor, the Special Dark every day.

Speaker: Even as a kid, I always liked the Special Dark better. Okay. Okay. That's good. All right. Well, um but as far as favorite cream pie, if we're talking ah bottom shelf, it's going to be zebra cakes for me, um which I don't know if it's Little Debbie. I don't think that's Little Debbie.

Speaker: Yeah, think it is Little Debbie. It is? Oh, think so really? Let's check it out. Let's get our research team on it. ah It's not Drake's. It's not Tasty Cakes. I think it's Little Debbie. Oh, it is Little Debbie. It is Little Debbie. Wow. So I guess Little Debbie is involved.

Speaker: Yeah, so that's my answer is zebra cakes, which is funny because i typically don't go for like vanilla on vanilla. i'm I'm always like a chocolate guy, but something about this one, little bit different. It's a little bit different. Well, there's chocolate in it.

Speaker: There is? i don't think so. On the zebra stripes. Oh, well, nah. You don't even know what you like. You don't even know where it's made, what's on it. I don't. I know enough. Oh, yes. I know enough. I can't really finish a cosmic brownie.

Speaker: It's usually one is enough. Yeah. ah The Swiss cake rolls were always really good, but I'm sure you've noticed over the years how fucking small they've become. Oh, really? Yeah. Go buy zebra cakes. You're going to be like, these are fucking bite size.

Speaker: Oh wow. Which might might be a good thing, but at the same time, it's like, ah how much am I paying for these? Right, right. Yeah. um I was trying to think oh there's one that's like a Mexican one that I fucking love.

Speaker: I forgot that there is. I'm i'm serious. ah Man, I forgot. I can't look it, but it has like jelly in it. And it's covered in chocolate. I don't know. Sounds good.

Speaker: Do you know what the jelly in Dunkin Donuts jelly donut is? No. Apple raspberry. Ooh, apple raspberry. Apple raspberry. Yep. How do I know this? Cause I worked Okay. Um, I, yeah, I don't, I never really thought to taste the apple, but you you don't, it's just like jelly flavor. Love jelly. Well, I do. Well, jelly's my also good. If I get two donuts, it's Boston cream and jelly.

Speaker: There you go. So there I go. Um, but, uh, Yeah. So, but hey, you know what, Ron, what would you wash down a nice donut with?

Speaker: Um, coffee? Wrong. It would be.

Speaker: So today, Robert, oh we have, it ah this is kind I usually feature smaller companies, but this is a larger company and this intrigued me. Oh, and if I could just say really quickly, Gansito, G-A-N-S-I-T-O is that brand, is that pastry I love. So check that out. ah This is from Austin East Ciders from their Imperial series, which is a high octane cider. This is 8.3. It's their watermelon flavor.

Speaker: It's that Vin Diesel one, brother. Watermelon flavored. You're holding a juice bomb that will leave you screaming, what a melon. Hold tight. We've got you. Let's smash. Because it said les let's smash.

Speaker: does it you does it want it to fuck Does it want you to fuck the can? Let me smell. Ooh, Robert. Ooh. You better not be micro-cheating with that drink right now. You better.

Speaker: You better. actually have better My wife forgot her neck fan that she wears on her during which she's working at the bar to keep her cool. And now I have bring it to her, but it's fine. Oh, damn it. I don't have anything to do today, Robert. It's fine.

Speaker: Right. Look at the color. It's fun. It's a little, it's a little pinkish hue, but mostly yellow. ah Smells good. Typical cider. Prost. Let's see now if it's going to be Schmecht or Schlecht.

Speaker: Ooh. Oh, it's a little sweet. It's a little sweet. Uh-oh. But it's got an... It's like almost like a candied watermelon flavor. um It's been sitting here for about an hour, so it's a little sweet, but it is tasty as fuck, Robert. It's a... We got a schmacked good, buddy. We got a schmacked... Woo! And the crowd goes wild. It's a little sweet, though. It's the only note I'm going to be... Otherwise...

Speaker: It's extremely drinkable, and the fact that that's 8.3 is very dangerous. Right. Oh, it's 8.3? 8.3% alcohol. crazy. Imperial ciders are usually high-octane. Yeah, so that's... Damn.

Speaker: But if it tastes good... But if it tastes good, I will be... My shirt will be off at the end of this podcast. if i Hell yeah, brother. Hell yeah, brother. Well, um that was fun, you know, and that was great.

Speaker: That was great, everybody. ah Next episode, I'm going to have a cold joke ready. Do not worry. I'm not yeah i'm not even going to write one because apparently you like mine and I expect you to do all fucking work.

Speaker: Ron, that is only half true. Stop it. um And ah maybe we'll have Amanda Bynes on. i don't know. Imagine. yeah um Can you imagine? that said i What do we have coming up? I have a show, August 26th, QD Historia, 7.30pm. I am hosting.

Speaker: 26th, you said? Yep. Really, really good. Really good crowd. Really good comics on there. I'm really excited for the lineup. I actually helped to pick this lineup, so very excited for it. um Yeah, that's it. That's all I have.

Speaker: Okay, well, hopefully it's funny. It's your choice. I didn't get the call, but it's fine. Are you a stand-up comedian? Yes, I am, Ron. Do you want to come out and do five minutes? yeah I'll fly you out. You can do five minutes.

Speaker: Yes. All right. Let's go. I'll be there. Catch me in Historia. Historia, yeah. Yeah, I just know it from the Biggie Smalls song.

Speaker: It will hurt you. From Historia. Remember that? Yeah. Gloria from Biggie Smalls. Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis. When I was at Brooklyn, I could have put you this. Remember that guy?

Speaker: Yeah, I remember him. Oh, he was like a rapper from the 90s. Yeah. Yeah, he's from Brooklyn. Yeah, well, he's New York royalty here. That's true. And hey, I'm from Brooklyn, too. So you're not from Brooklyn. You were born. I am from Brooklyn. It's like me saying I'm from New Jersey. Brooklyn. But I'm more like Beastie Boys. That's that's if I had to be related to any kind of like I'm not a biggie smalls. But we are from Florida. End of story.

Speaker: Interesting fact. That is a lie. But thanks guys for listening. Half the staff, the students were from New York or New Jersey. Yo, I'm from New York. Like, no, you're not. You were born in Long Island. You moved here when you were three months old. You're not from Long Island.

Speaker: You know how you can tell where the New Yorkers are in Spring Hill because they won't fucking stop reminding you. But they didn't fucking like, it's like that like, I don't claim New Jersey.

Speaker: But the ones that move from New York to Florida, they don't stop reminding you that they're from New York. that That's why I always had a bad opinion of New Yorkers until I moved to New York. Yeah. I mean, and then I realized, oh, the ones that are here are actually nice. The ones that are flying from a JFK to Tampa are not. Yeah. They got the Florida calling. it it it was, it was where their spirit sent them, but not the airlines. Cause that's gone. But yeah,

Speaker: Yeah. Well, with that said, everybody ah from New York to Florida to California to. kora was Vietnam, Vietnam, oh yeah vietnam i Vietnam, Vietnam. We love you at Vietnam and we love Florida. I'm naming an airport after me.

Speaker: So fucking stupid. I know I will never. I will never call it. Donald Trump internet that name you got me got a fucking tangent now, Robert. I will never call it that. Never. We'll come up with like a nickname for it. No, it's West. It's Palm beach international. That's what it is. We're arriving in West Palm beach. I will not say that.

Speaker: I, the fact that I have to put the initials DJ T instead of PBI now, fucking Oh, so you won't get on the phone and be like, oh, we'll be arriving in West Palm. Yes, real say. No, no, I will not. i West Palm, I will say. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker: But I will not say the name of the airport. And if somebody gets mad, I will tell them to go fuck themselves I will lose my job. I don't care. I, I, I'm right there with you, man. Don't, don't be true to yourself, but guys, thanks for listening. We'll see you on the next one. Yeah.
