Fulham's Upcoming Match Preview

00:00:19
Speaker
My name is Gavin Ruffall and today is the preview for the weekend's encounter. Fulham take on the Runaway League leaders, the soon-to-be champions. That's a 2pm kick-off on Sunday at Craven Cottage and Fulham come into that off the back of successive defeats. Been a disappointing week, hasn't it?
00:00:36
Speaker
going out of the FA Cup and then following that up with the midweek loss against Arsenal.

Analyzing Fulham's Recent Performances

00:00:41
Speaker
I think a lot's been said in the aftermath. Obvious disappointment and people are emotional after losing games.
00:00:47
Speaker
I think a lot of what's been said has been blown out of proportion and I don't think it's been quite as disastrous as people will make out. Yes, there's obvious disappointment of the way things went in the FA Cup game in particular because people really sense that was an opportunity to get to Wembley and even beyond that, possibly lift the first piece of major silverware.
00:01:05
Speaker
it didn't happen and you don't want to dwell on that now do you and then I felt possibly having the midweek game against Arsenal was the perfect recipe to bounce back straight away get that out of the system but you know going to the Emirates at the best of times isn't an easy fixture is it and Fulham came away empty-handed there didn't they so they want to avoid the third straight defeat won't they not that that's going to be an easy task at all because Liverpool will definitely go into this game as strong favourites and Fulham generally this season, when they have had difficult times, when they have had setbacks, they have responded.
00:01:36
Speaker
So I think it's important for them to try and get something on the weekend so they still have something to fight for for the remainder of the season.

Fulham's Season Goals and Challenges

00:01:44
Speaker
A lot of people have already written them off and said the season's over, but...
00:01:47
Speaker
It isn't just yet. After the defeat on Tuesday, I kind of felt the results after that have been pretty positive for Fulham. I think you've got to ignore what the top five, top six teams are doing now. and Fulham have just got to focus on the teams in and around them. That includes some of the teams below them as well. The likes of Brentford and Christopas who have had good run of form recently. They were concerned maybe that they could overhaul them and potentially get in the top half at Fulham's expense. and They can still do that. That's why it's important for Fulham to end the season strong as they still strive to finish in the top half and of course in the process try and get their records points tally in the Premier League but they still do cling on to the hope they can qualify for the Europa League or the Europa Conference League it looks like the Europa Conference League is going to go down to eight teams it's not guaranteed but there are some
00:02:35
Speaker
permutations that were that would make it work out like that. We're pretty certain that five teams will get in the Champions League for next season and and then obviously that will have a knock-on

Liverpool's Strong Position & European Aspirations

00:02:44
Speaker
effect. I think the scenario for it to go down to eight for the Conference League is if Newcastle, having already won the Carabao Cup, if they remain in the top seven and then the winners of the FA Cup are also from the top seven and there's every chance that could happen because Nottingham Forest is still in it, Manchester City is still in it.
00:03:01
Speaker
Aston Villa are still in. I guess if Crystal Palace were to win the FA Cup then that might throw a spanner in the works but 8th certainly isn't out of the equation as they're only one place behind 8th now with Brighton occupying that spot now after going down to Aston Villa so if they can get a result any positive result and a draw on the weekend would represent that then they'll still be in the mix going into the last 7 games.
00:03:27
Speaker
What's gone wrong since the international break was the reason why they haven't had The success in those two games that they would have liked, well, the Arsenal game, and that can to happen, as I said, at the best of times. I don't read too much into it in terms of not getting a result against the Arsenal.
00:03:41
Speaker
I think there's been a lot of talk about maybe players being tired, needing a rest. We saw that in midweek with Iwobi rested and Calvin Bassey.

Player Fatigue and Recovery Strategies

00:03:47
Speaker
lot of players have played a lot of games this season, haven't they? And maybe that's just taken its toll and maybe they are starting to run out of steam a little bit.
00:03:55
Speaker
They've had players away, travelling thousands of miles on international duty jets setting around the world, but you can't use that as an it excuse. They're not the only Premier League side that has to encounter those difficulties. You've got to get on with haven't you?
00:04:06
Speaker
Yeah, you want to bounce back from the setbacks that they've suffered this week because you don't want spiralling out of control now because if they don't, turn around this mini slump that's all it is it's a mini slump people over dramatize it it is a mini slump losing back-to-back games nothing major but a defeat on the weekend and all of a sudden maybe those european aspirations are looking a little bit more forlorn and you aren't worried more about the teams coming from behind liverpool will present the big challenge I'll go into greater detail about Liverpool in the second part, but we know they've only lost one game all season, Nottingham Forest beating them quite early on at Anfield. So they're on a long and beaten run in the Premier League.

Review of Fulham vs Liverpool Past Encounters

00:04:43
Speaker
And they should come to Craven Cottage with a ruthless mindset as they just look to tick the games off in their quest for a second Premier League title. It was a captivating game earlier on in the season when the sides met at Anfield, finishing in the 2-2 draw.
00:04:56
Speaker
I almost feel like Fulham didn't quite get the credit they deserved. After that game, a lot of focus was on Arna Slott and the way he changed things up because Liverpool were down to 10 men early on after Andy Robertson sending off.
00:05:07
Speaker
He was given a lot of praise for how he tactically managed things there. I think Ryan Gravenberg went into the heart of defence and they didn't really change how they played. They stuck with an attacking mindset and got their rewards in doing so.
00:05:20
Speaker
I think what actually gets forgotten from that game is how when it was 11 11, Fulham were actually the better side. and they had control it was only when Liverpool went down to 10 men that they seemed to grasp any sort control in the game it was a game that could have gone either way at the end but it finished 2-2 but that was a creditable point creditable result for Fulham because I think up until that point it was only Nottingham Forest that had taken points off Liverpool certainly at Anfield anyway that's one of a handful of results this season from Fulham against teams in and around the top end of the league that shows on their day what they are capable of doing and the warning signs will be there for Liverpool
00:05:53
Speaker
If Fulham are to get a win on the weekend, it'll be the first time they've beaten Liverpool at home since back in December 2011. A 1-0 win there. Goal from Clint Dempsey after a Pepe Reina mistake. But if you look at the meetings generally between these sides in recent times, they've all been close games.
00:06:12
Speaker
Fulham have more than held their own in those games, even if they haven't won so many of them. Played four times last season, including the two-legged affair in the Carabao Cup. And that was a very close affair with Liverpool going through 3-2 on aggregate. free one in the corresponding fixture last season. and That was probably Fulham's most disappointing performance against Liverpool out of the four.
00:06:32
Speaker
And probably out of all their performances since coming back into the Premier League under Marco Silva. It was probably one of those games towards the end of the season where Fulham's minds were elsewhere. They were on the beach and I think Liverpool at that stage was still...
00:06:45
Speaker
clinging on to some hope that they could win the title. Obviously, if they had to do the same on the weekend, then it takes them that little bit closer to securing their second Premier League title.

Injury Updates and Team Impact

00:06:56
Speaker
Just away from Liverpool and the game itself, we've had some news emerge this week. Concerning Reece Nelson, the injured Reece Nelson that he's returned to Arsenal's training centre to continue his rehab following his hamstring surgery.
00:07:07
Speaker
You can't help but feel for the lad obviously getting his move to another Premier League team, wanting to get minutes in the tank, wanting to play regular football, which he wasn't doing so at Arsenal. And I think he certainly made an impression in the games he played. He was well liked.
00:07:22
Speaker
very popular among the fans it looked like he was getting his way back to fitness about a month ago maybe just a bit longer than that and and then had a setback and now he's out for the season and he'll return to Arsenal he's unfortunate isn't and you look at Fulham maybe in terms of wide areas how they seem to have dropped off recently and you can probably put that down to maybe not quite having the options available Harry Wilson obviously out injured and Rhys Nelson not having him to call upon but Yeah, you send your best wishes out to the lad, hope that he can make a recovery and that he can get his career back on track.
00:07:53
Speaker
Will that be something that Fulham look for in the summer? I know Marco Silva's obviously a huge fan of his, but given his injury records, I could see Fulham probably looking elsewhere.
00:08:04
Speaker
But you just hope for the individual's sake that he can overcome those injury problems and find a settled home, wherever that may be. Right, that's it for part one. In the next part, I will be turning my attention onto the side from Merseyside, the runaway league leaders. But before then, let me point you in the direction of our sponsors.

Liverpool's Title Pursuit and Campaign Critique

00:08:47
Speaker
Focusing on Liverpool then and they come into the weekend's encounter fresh off the Merseyside Derby victory in midweek.
00:08:53
Speaker
1-0 win over Everton thanks to a goal from Diogo Jota. It was a tight affair. Nervy in stages wasn't it And you could feel the tension in the ground. I could certainly feel that watching the game on TV and I don't know if that's because they still feel like they could lose the title or because it's a Merseyside Derby. Maybe be a combination of both until you're actually over the line.
00:09:12
Speaker
You never count your eggs chickens. And that's the important thing for Arneslot, isn't it? Despite the fact that they are 12 points clear, he's got to tell his players the job's not done. As much as everyone else can say the job's done, and it's a mere formality that they will get enough points, he's got to motivate his players to ensure that they are 100% for every remaining game. So they are fully focused on the task at hand, and that's delivering that trophy to Anfield. And Obviously, they won it a few seasons ago under Jurgen Klopp, it was slightly anticlimactic and they will always have that asterisk against it to a certain degree anyway. I know that annoys Liverpool fans because the fact there was during COVID season and and they weren't able to celebrate with their fans. So after not winning a league title for a long time, it was a bit of a bittersweet, wasn't it? But this time they'll get to enjoy that success celebrated in front of their fans. And they've got to ignore sort of the other talk as well. I think I've seen some ridiculous talk in recent times about...
00:10:04
Speaker
It not being the strongest league campaign, they've won it because other teams have been poor. At the end of the day, the table doesn't lie, does it? And they're going to win a league because they've they've been the best team. They've lost one game all season.
00:10:15
Speaker
They're on a long, unbeaten stretch in league, as I've already mentioned. And they're by far and away the deserving victor. So they've got ignore talk from the outside, just focus on the job that are currently doing. and It'll get them over the line. They want to wrap it up sooner rather than later. And of course, a win on the weekend will expedite the process.
00:10:31
Speaker
Just focusing on that game in the week, obviously there were some talking points. ah The Tarkovsky challenge, which is reprehensible to be honest. I can't believe I saw some people afterwards saying it was a fair enough challenge by claiming he got the ball. I mean, hello? Have you looked at the law book?

Controversies and Key Player Performances

00:10:46
Speaker
Have you have you read up on the laws of the game recently? It's not 1984 anymore. You can't justify a challenge like that by saying he won the ball.
00:10:52
Speaker
We don't live in that era anymore. i mean, it was a red card every day of the week and twice on Wednesdays. It just wasn't to be on that particular Wednesday, was it? But... Liverpool got the goal and Diogo Jota that was a much needed goal for him as much as the focus has been on Mo Salah this season and what he's managed to achieve and his exploits I think the forwards in and around him have struggled recently and there was a graphic they showed before kick-off of how little output we've seen from those other forwards recently and I think that was Diogo Jota's first goal in XI which is surprising because it's always mentioned how he is probably the best finisher at the club
00:11:28
Speaker
He actually scored against Fulham Dini earlier on in the season. So I think that was an important goal for him. And of course, we don't know what's going to be happening with Mo Salah next season. So there's going to be more of an emphasis on those other attacking players.
00:11:39
Speaker
It is a strange situation for Liverpool in a weird sort of way. The fact that they are going to win the title, it is a mere formality. But the motivation should still remain there, regardless of the fact that Arsenal aren't quite as close...
00:11:52
Speaker
As maybe people would have imagined, I thought Arsenal would make a better fist of it. They have had to manage with injuries and and deal with people being out for a long period of time. Maybe Liverpool have had the red with the green. The fact that their main players have stayed fit.
00:12:04
Speaker
But you've still got to go out there and get the results, regardless of the frailties of one or two of your... closest contenders and they've done that in such a ruthless fashion they have missed out on other trophies and again that's probably something that frustrates fans as well the fact that they are doing so well in league but because of the inability to win the other trophies it's almost been deemed a failure because there's been talk about quadruples and i think it's nigh and impossible for any side to win the quadruple to expect them to do that it's just it's just such a difficult challenge but Liverpool at the start of the season wouldn't have been expected I don't think to be champions they would have been in the mix you would have thought but obviously at the same time we're not sure how things are going to go with the change of manager but it's gone better than anyone could have expected it didn't go their way in the Champions League did it losing out to PSG when everyone thought they had a great chance in that competition and then maybe there was a knock-on effect in the Carabao Cup
00:12:56
Speaker
It was a flat performance, very unlike the Liverpool we've seen this season, but take nothing away from Newcastle. They were fully worthy of getting the result on the day. So that winning in midweek was more than welcome because it had actually been a while since they had done they had won a game, a good few weeks. And of course, the major talk in the last few weeks has been the situation

Transfer Speculations and Player Futures

00:13:12
Speaker
with Trent. It's dominated the talk in the media, isn't It looks like he's on his way to Real Madrid. And I know a lot of Liverpool fans that have been irate about the situation, how it's been handled, how...
00:13:22
Speaker
ah They're not happy about him running down his contract and leaving on the free. Talk about loyalty. I don't think we should be beating the loyalty drum in this day and age, should we? And in using that against people.
00:13:33
Speaker
The day and age of one club men is something in the distant past. And I feel like I've got to be careful in what I say now because Liverpool fans don't appreciate other people seemingly giving their own opinion on the situation. They obviously don't like being told how they should feel. But from a neutral, non-biased perspective...
00:13:50
Speaker
I feel the player should be celebrated for what he's given that club as a local lad coming through the ranks to achieve what he's achieved. Probably the most iconic moment was the corner against Barcelona. Quickly taking corner. You say those three words, you know what it means, don't you? So you can't begrudge the player, in my opinion, a move, a new challenge going abroad.
00:14:08
Speaker
One of the biggest clubs in the world. It will be a loss for Liverpool you can understand why they're frustrated and they have Other players, established players who've been part of the furniture for several seasons, big players that, again, we don't know what the situation is there with contracts due to expire. You're talking about Mo Salah, you're talking about Virgil van Dijk. Mo Salah, he's been a terrific servant again for Liverpool and the numbers he's put up this season, not just in goals, in terms of assists, there's never a clearer winner for a player of the year. and Beyond that, if you're looking at individual accolades, maybe even Ballon d'Or, and he's one of Liverpool's greats of all time. He's one of the Premier League greats, not just one of the greatest foreign players.
00:14:49
Speaker
It remains to be seen what his future holds, but I do feel like if he departs Liverpool this season delivering them a trophy, delivering them the Premier League title, then I think you've got to let him go with your best wishes.
00:15:01
Speaker
Whilst I said Arsenal have been a bit unfortunate with injuries and missing the likes of Bakayosaka and having problem in their forward areas, Liverpool i have been, I don't want to say lucky, but they can be thankful. Their big stars have remained fit and Virgil van Dijk continues to be a colossus at the back, doesn't he?
00:15:17
Speaker
World-class performer and it'll only be a matter of weeks before he's lifting that Premier League trophy above his head. Whilst I think Liverpool may be able to cope with the loss of Alexander-Arnold, Trying to replace Van Dijk and Salah is going to be god damn difficult.
00:15:32
Speaker
I don't think any player, any person is irreplaceable at a football club. But... replacing the goals of Mo Salah, it's going to be hard to find someone that's going to produce those numbers. That's why I feel like it is important for the other forwards to step up their game a little bit. They haven't produced the numbers. Luis Diaz, Jota, Gatpo's been quite recently and Darwin Yunes. Again, Darwin Yunes, we don't know what's goingnna happen with him.
00:15:54
Speaker
i know a lot of Liverpool fans have kind of given up on him. So whether that's something we might see in the summer as well. So it could be a season of a transition and change at Liverpool. But that's looking a few months further down the line. Right now, the immediate focus and attention is on winning the games required to be crowned champions of England, which would draw them level with Manchester United on 20 titles apiece.
00:16:15
Speaker
And just finally, Arna Slott, manager of the season, well, he's certainly going to be in the shake-up, isn't he? As would any manager who wins the league, but especially the fact that this is his first season in charge. First season managing in England, it's been the smoothest of smooth transitions after Jurgen Klopp's exit last summer. I would personally go for Nuno because I think that's a greater achievement.
00:16:36
Speaker
to get nottingham forest where they are from where they have been to get them in the champions league from a side that's been hovering around the relegation zone for the last couple of seasons but take nothing away from arna slott's achievements and liverpool certainly wouldn't have been one of the top two favourites the start the season but he's done an incredible job hasn't he and he deserves the plaudits and if he does get that award then there'd be no great argument at least not from my side anyway right i've waxed far too much lyrical about liverpool in that part in the final part i'll be looking through ahead to this game i'll run through some team news look at some key battles and close with a score prediction

Don't settle for off-the-shelf solutions made for just anybody. Get what's right for you, right now. As far as team news is concerned, I'm pretty sure there's no fresh injury concerns for Fulham following that midweek outing against Arsenal.
00:18:00
Speaker
Everyone's available, apart from the long-term absentees. Obviously, we've spoken about Rhys Nelson going back to Arsenal, so won't see him featuring a Fulham shirt again. Well, at least not this season anyway.

Fulham's Lineup Decisions and Strategy

00:18:10
Speaker
Harry Wilson remains out, although I don't think he's too far away. We should see him before the season ends. And Kenny Tete, by all accounts, is very close. Whether this game is a bit too soon for him, it might just be. I know there's been some speculation about Anthony Robinson as well in the past two games, whether he's fully fit. of course, he missed out on international duty with...
00:18:31
Speaker
America. I think it was just precautionary that it's been kept under wraps in terms of what issue he's got going on there. Do Fulham continue with the five at the back? It's the way Marco Silva likes to go against the bigger clubs.
00:18:43
Speaker
It's not the way i like to see them go. i just want Marco Silva to put out a team on the weekend. focusing on how they can get positive results rather than the first thing in mind being how we can possibly stop Liverpool from playing.
00:18:57
Speaker
Liverpool have got great attacking players and if you set out in a defensive manner they're probably going to cut you apart anyway so I think just put your best foot forward and the best form of defence is to attack so I would like to see them reverts back to that back four I would like to see them stay with a back four for the remainder of season because I just think they operate best as a back four I saw a lot of criticism for Joachim Andersen midweek because of that mistake he made for Arsenal's second goal, but actually felt he did okay, to be fair. A lot of people probably clamouring for Issa Diop to take his place, but I'm quite happy content with Joachim Andersen to remain in the team.
00:19:32
Speaker
Of course, people are going to be frustrated with some inconsistencies in his performances. There have been some errors that have led to goals which you wouldn't like, but I have no problem with Joachim Andersen in that back four.
00:19:44
Speaker
I think the guy that everyone wants to see start now is Ryan Sessignon, obviously coming on against Arsenal and making an impact. That assist for the goal for Moniz and he scored in the last game at Craven Cottage in the league against Spurs, coming off the bench, making an instant impact.
00:20:00
Speaker
And he looks like he's really chomping at the bit. wanting to get a run in the team now and I think it's time that Marco Silva throws him in. I think there's question marks against some of the other wide players. Adama Traore's forms up and down and everything in between. Alex Iwobi, of course, has been talk about him needing a rest, maybe not hitting the heights we saw in the first half of the season.
00:20:24
Speaker
got willian of course as well so i would definitely like to see ryan sesson you know start and i'd like to see him start on that right hand side we're used to seeing him in the fullham shirt over on the left when he had his success he was playing in the left wing in the championship but he has shown he can play over on that right side as well so i would like to see a couple of changes for them and that would involve sesson you're starting that right i'd like to see willian come back in the team as well because i feel like when he has started He's done pretty well, but but didn't have the greatest cameo against Arsenal.
00:20:51
Speaker
But I wouldn't hold that against him. I thought he did really well in the game against Spurs, starting for the first time in a long time. And I thought he did okay in the cup games. I thought he was one of the brighter players in that disappointment there. So I would like to see Sessingham start at the right.
00:21:04
Speaker
I was like to see Willian start on the left. Hujo go up top. Munez again coming off the bench in midweek to score. Jimenez probably gets frustrated at times. And I don't think his body language is great, to be honest, because he's sometimes he throwing his arms up in the air. Sometimes he doesn't get great service. And then when he comes off the bench, the service is a lot better for Rodrigo Munez, i.e. that three header he had him about three yards.
00:21:26
Speaker
Raul Jimenez have only dreamt of an opportunity like that when he was on the pitch. I've said it time and the time again with those two, I'm not fussed. I'm not fussed which one starts. It's not great deal of concern for me.
00:21:38
Speaker
i think you've got to look at them as a combined package and in terms of what they've delivered for Fulham this season. And in all competitions, they've scored 20 goals, which is very respectable because ah I don't think they maybe get the credit from the fan base because people want to see one of them scoring 20 goals a season. But you've got to be realistic as well. I mean, there's not many guys that play for clubs outside the top six that are contributing numbers like that. So...
00:22:03
Speaker
I'm not fussed which way they go. Elsewhere, I would quite like to see Alex Iwobi play in field. Emile Smith-Rowe, he's not having a good second half of the season, is he? And despite some promising performances from Andres Pereira recently,
00:22:17
Speaker
Didn't quite go his way against Crystal Palace. So I think there is an option to move Alex Iwobi infield in front of Berger and Lukic. We know Alex Iwobi, the versatility he has. So I would like to see him as that central attacking midfielder. Willian to one side and then Ryan Sesson on to the other side and back to that back four. I would also imagine Calvin Bassi would come back into this game.
00:22:39
Speaker
As for Liverpool, they have some

Liverpool's Lineup Challenges

00:22:42
Speaker
concerns of their own. We know who is out and that's going to be Trent Alexander-Arnold, which is good for Fulham because he always seems to have a habit of doing something against Fulham, scoring a free kick from about 25 yards or popping up with a last-minute winner. So they'll be grateful that he's not in the team.
00:22:56
Speaker
So they do have headache in terms of right-back because they've got Conor Bradley coming back from injury. He wasn't in the matchday squad against Everton. I expect he probably will be in the squad, but whether they'll start him, I'm probably going to say no. I think they'll probably continue with Curtis Jones at right back, which Fulham will need to target. They'll need to target whoever's playing on that side up against him. If it's Willian, if it's Adamitra, if it's Alex Iwobi, I think think if you've got a guy who plays in central midfield who's playing at right back, you've definitely got to look at targeting that player. So if Curtis Jones...

does keep his place in the team at right back then I think that is an area that Fulham can potentially get success in. Alisson missed the game in midweek with concussion sustained away on international duty.

There is a drop off I know people like to talk up Kelleher but he's not as good as Alisson is he and that's not a slight on him. Alisson's a world class goalkeeper. Liverpool fans will obviously want to see the Brazilian return, Fulham fans less so. you know You've got to take every marginal game, haven't you? If they're not playing with a a regular right-back, they're not playing with Alisson in goal, then got to try and make the most that in whatever way you can.

and of course, Ranty Robinson just spoke about him a little bit there about maybe his fitness whether he's not quite 100% up to it at the minute but it's a big game for him he's going to need to be 100% up to it isn't he coming up against the best right winger in the league but he had to contend with Bakaya Saka for the final 25 minutes against the Arsenal he's gone from playing against Saka to playing against Mo Salah so he's going to have to have his wits about him he'll be disappointed with the role he played in Arsenal's first goal in midweek and if he allows Mo Salah that time and space on the ball then he's going absolutely punish him

So I just want Marco Silva to put together a game plan which focuses on his side rather than stopping the opposition.

Match Predictions and Conclusion

Liverpool fans will come into this game slightly wary because they know games against Fulham have been tricky for them, even when they have won. It's been by fine margins.

Fulham always give them a game, and I'm sure their fans are probably expecting the same, but i would just like to see ah more positive approach from the one we saw in midweek. Having said that, can they get a result? They can get a result. It's obviously difficult to beat Liverpool in league. We've only seen it happen once this season.
00:25:12

Will Fulham be the second side to do that? I don't think so. I'd it's more of an important game for Fulham, trying to remain in the hunt for European places than it is for Liverpool. Liverpool are going to win the league. It's just a matter of...

when they do it. I'm going to go for a Liverpool victory, unfortunately. It's practically impossible to stop Liverpool scoring, least in the league. and I know they have been stopped in the FA Cup, and more recently, that second leg of the Champions League tie against PSG.

feel... think Fulham can score. i think Fulham can score, but but it's going to be hard to stop Liverpool from scoring and to try and contain them. i just think Liverpool will come out 2-1 victors on the day.

I just feel Fulham defensively, there are some frailties, there are some vulnerabilities they can be got at. There are lapses in concentration. There is the odd mistake... And if there is the odd mistake, then Liverpool will exploit that. If you give them an inch, they'll take a mile. And I think Liverpool will just have a little bit too much of them on its occasion to come away 2-1 victors. But I hope I'm wrong. A lot of my predictions recently been pretty poor. So maybe this will be categorically wrong as well. And Fulham can turn the tables. But yeah, I'm going to go for a Liverpool 2-1 victory.
