I'm really excited about this Cody and Seth match and talk about everything else this week in wrestling and wrestling figures. But first, let me introduce the star of the show. Sheena, how you doing?

I'm doing good. And first and foremost, happy Fort Nightmares to all of you guys who celebrate. um For all who celebrate. If you do hear ah you know some some kid chatter in the background, that's what my kids are doing right now. They're taking advantage of ah the first day of Fort Nightmares. And ah that's what we're doing to keep them busy while we're recording this podcast. And they seem to be, you know, it's pretty intense in there right now. So if you hear any like, you know, squawks or squeaks in the background, that's our that's our kids.

Sheena, tell us what's new on the farm. ah Not a whole lot. I was joking the other day that um you know my ah metamorphosis into a suburban dad is almost complete. And I think I like completed that um you know metaphor metamorphosis tonight by staining our entire patio um you know while Seth was at work. I had the kids outside with me and restained. It was getting a little, wood was getting a little dry. you know So went out, power washed it down and then stained it up and you know looking nice and fresh fora for the wintertime. Yeah, very impressive. It's really the first time we've messed with it.

It looks like NXT actually doubled the viewership numbers for AEW on Tuesday night. They were going head-to-head this year.

WWE's really been a mixed bag at best from like a critical standpoint this year with the product they're putting on screen.

But even with all that, man, again, metrics across the border down. I saw stat the other day. So for their debut episode, of Dynamite, October 2019. They had 14,000 people in the building to see that. They had their sixth anniversary show, and it was a little over 3,000 people there. So in six years, you go from over 14,000 over 3,000 people.

ah You know, it's so I don't know, man. I really can't put my finger on what exactly is going on with AEW. Because I like it, man. You know, I mean, there's not really a whole lot of things I would say that they need to do to change it up.

I mean, they need to they need to stick in there, dude, because ah if WWE keeps trending the way it's trending, dude, I think it's going to push a lot of live audience over to AEW shows. Because, I mean, people going to be able to afford to go to Raw and SmackDown. You can't afford to take your family to Raw and SmackDown, dude. This economy is brutal,

So people are still gobbling up these tickets. um But yeah, I've said for a while, I think that's definitely an inroad that AEW can make. And maybe, you know, I would say maybe you tone down the product just a little bit, make it slightly more family friendly. Right, yeah. I mean, my kids are are feral and they're pretty hardcore. i really wouldn't have an issue taking them to an AEW show.

Well, I was going to say, this figure looks incredible. um So if you just have the Cody figure alone, you're like oh man, this this jacket, everything about it is so stellar. Then you get this Will Ospreay figure in your hands. And like the soft goods on this makes you like the back of Cody's cape. So they do have the cape on the Cody figure. Kind of chintzy. But it is chintzy. You know, like when- don't think it's holding up over time. Well, No, when figures, remember like the Brett figure that came with like the little flag? I feel like this is like the flag the flag material. Super thin ribbon type fake satiny material that i feel like I feel like if this thing gets like bent the wrong way, you're never getting that crease out. Yeah, it's it is. It's like a satin like ribbon that would go on a package. that's That's the material.
