Speaker: I got done shoveling my neighbor's house out because they have COVID.

Speaker: Look out!

Speaker: Drama and intrigue await you.

Speaker: Tom's not here. Look, there's an empty camera case. There's an SD card inside. Load it up. It's just a bunch of photos of old cars and crying Browns fans.

Speaker: What does that mean? I don't know. Streaming soon on Netflix is the limited series that will have you second guessing if Tom is even real.

Speaker: Find out the answers on Tom Hunters.

Speaker: Because did you know, Tom, remember ah week five? You know, when when we had you booked for the show? Oh, yeah. Yeah, week five. after that That show was the our most popular show of the season, right, Jeff?

Speaker: Yep. It had the most listens, even though we accidentally accidentally deleted all of your audio. Jeff, can we take a listen? All right, Tom, it's time for your favorite segment and ours.

Speaker: You know what it's called, Jeff. have questions.

Speaker: have questions. Okay, Tom, we've been kicking this off pretty much every week with a softball for people. So what is your Chipotle order?

Speaker: Tom, that is fucking disgusting. No, God! No, God, please, no! No!

Speaker: No! No! Okay, let's try this one. Tom, what's your favorite hobby with your significant other? Besides the obvious.

Speaker: Tom, that is disgusting.

Speaker: Correct. Correct. Correct. je do it hold man

Speaker: So, Tom, as you can see, as you heard, we lost all of your audio from week five. And don't worry, you'll have the opportunity tonight to fill in all the blanks.

Speaker: Perfect. That's really a shame. that was that was i thought we really nailed it. Yeah, you were on fire that night. I know. It was top-notch, top-notch work.

Speaker: Tom Notch. Andy, we have a lot of voice. paunch Should I throw one in real quick? I think you should. We have a caller. Hello? am am I on the podcast?

Speaker: Hello?

Speaker: Jeff?

Speaker: Andy?

Speaker: ah Are you guys there?

Speaker: Thank you, caller. Is this the podcast?

Speaker: Yep. Yep. It is the podcast. It is the podcast, Nick. Thanks for calling. Yeah. ah Hopefully we hear more from that caller later in the show.

Speaker: But it's time for our questions and comments section where we pull questions and comments from the league, from the discord, from life, ah from, you know, from the internet, wherever we can pull them, we pull them.

Speaker: Jeff. Andy, can I, can I put one question in at the beginning? can It's kind of a question comment, maybe Tom, what did you think of our weekly sponsor? That was that Netflix series that we heard.

Speaker: Oh, the Tom Hunters. Yeah, Tom Hunters. Oh, the Tom Hunters. um I mean, it's pretty pretty wild that you were able to land that big of a sponsor. um It's definitely our biggest sponsor. I've been reading reviews about it, and yeah I mean, they're talking awards.

Speaker: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. We'll see. We'll see what happens, but... We're hoping that we can help grease the <unk>ase the skids on that, you know? Yeah, for sure.

Speaker: Yeah, i think I think doing this episode with that sponsor right now in December when all the best movies, you know, and shows that, like, everyone's watching Stranger Things, they're also, Tom Hunter should be right there.

Speaker: Yeah, it's like a new sweep. For sure. Yeah, for sure. It is. Next question. Is there a bigger Browns fan in this league than you, Tom? Oh, God.

Speaker: ah in this In this fantasy league. Oh, in this fantasy league. Yeah. Oh, no, definitely not. okay I don't think there's any Browns fans. I'm the number one.

Speaker: You are. I was trying to emulate their season with my season. Yeah. Yeah, exactly. um Question number two, ah three, rather.

Speaker: What do you think of a new show format, Tom? You're an avid listener. I love it. I love it. I like this new format. okay ah Question number three. Why'd you take Kirk Cousins over Shadur Sanders?

Speaker: okay Okay. Because I am a Browns fan. um Just because our offense is terrible.

Speaker: ah Do you happen to know the swing between Kirk and Shadur? Not off the top my head, but I know Shadur had one hell of a game.

Speaker: He sure did. He Shadur did. He Shadur did. What was his? What did he end up with, his points? That was week 14, right? Yep. Not 15.

Speaker: um Let's see here. ti tode today The Steelhouse. Kirk Cousins had four and a half points. Yeah. All right.

Speaker: Not bad.

Speaker: Not bad. and And Sanders had only 34 and a half points. 34. 34.

Speaker: Yep. ah so So the one time that being the biggest Browns fan and you like that would have helped you the most, Tom. Yeah.

Speaker: Yeah. That's probably a mistake in end. could Could it be that you are um wanting for more toast in your life?

Speaker: More toast. Yeah, more toast. I mean, I like toast. Butter toast. Jam on toast. Well, stay tuned to the end of the show because we've got something for you, Tom.

Speaker: Awesome. We got something. ah So last question. we ask this ah We've asked this of everybody since week five. Where's Tom?

Speaker: Where is Tom?

Speaker: Let me reach out to him. And no, Tom is back in Avon Lake. And luckily i was able to come right in because the door was open.

Speaker: That's convenient. I thought were going use it to pitch your new show and say you want to know where Tom is. Tune in. Tune in, Tom Hunters. Well, I might be here now.

Speaker: You're right. But where I'll be tomorrow or the next day, you're just going to have to tune in. By the end of season one, you could be anywhere. Yeah. You be anywhere. You really could be anywhere. is the lake Is the lake frozen? Or do you guys... ah Not yet, but we had...

Speaker: one hell of a snowstorm on Thanksgiving. Probably like the biggest snowstorm I've ever remember on Thanksgiving. Wow. I mean, it wasn't like, like, you know, detrimental or anything, but probably got like eight inches of snow. Like what call literally. from yeah No, no.

Speaker: But it was ah it was just in a matter ah it was just quick. It was literally like eating dinner. And like two hours later, it went from nothing to just, you know, it just came down. That's kind of fun.

Speaker: No, I don't think the lake's frozen yet. That was a bonus question, wasn't it?

Speaker: Hey, um Tom, war where'd you go last for work and where are you going next? ah Last, I was just in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Speaker: And next week, I will be in Boston.

Speaker: yeah And how do you how do you understand the people in Santa Fe and then a week later understand the dialect in Boston? How do you do it? um Well, that's a secret. That'll be on episode four of the show um when I actually get caught and interrogated on some of my tactics.

Speaker: Wow. Can't wait. Hopefully it involves lot of trouble.

Speaker: Jeff, do we have any other – do we have another voicemail? Oh, man. We do.

Speaker: Caller, you're on the air.

Speaker: Hey, Jeff. Hey, Andy. So, hello? Are you guys there?

Speaker: think this league's still going on. I'm pretty sure I'm still in it. Are you guys there?

Speaker: Hello?

Speaker: Andy? it's Jeff. It's Jeff. Jeff's here. Nick. Gosh, I know it works. It's true. Jeff? No, it's Andy. This is Andy.

Speaker: Broadcast recording equipment. Andy, Jeff, you guys there? Hello?

Speaker: Thank you, caller. Thank you. ah We hope to hear more from you later on the show.

Speaker: Jeff, Tom, it's time for everyone's least favorite segment, the Mjolnir Minute. You got your watch ready, Andy? Of course. Are you stalling for time while you find the Mjolnir Horn?

Speaker: nope I had it. i just wanted make sure you had to watch. You had it. Tom, we're going to spend one minute talking about the Vikings versus Washington Commanders. I assume you did not watch the game, Tom.

Speaker: i My TiVo wasn't working.

Speaker: Jeff, did you watch this game? I did, but...

Speaker: Come on, you got you got some notes here. don't know JJ's next to the teams. And maybe Adam Thielen was the issue.

Speaker: Yeah, maybe. Get rid of feeling and everything starts clicking. please click Yeah, let's hope they can keep it up. It's nice to see JJ slanging, you know, having a game.

Speaker: We can spend the last 15 seconds on the Browns. Tom, how do you feel about Sanders? Is he the answer? I mean, ft week 14 was stellar. um It was stellar. And considering...

Speaker: Our offensive line and everything else. it's It's still early to say he's the answer, but he's definitely showing some talent, which is encouraging for sure.

Speaker: Would you say he's ready for primetime? yeah okay Wow, I see what you did there.

Speaker: um i i can the The biggest thing is like the everybody talking in Cleveland is is just they just hate the administration. really just who Who likes Trump right now?

Speaker: He's got a horrible, horrible, horrible.

Speaker: agree. um And then also the Browns, get back to that. um Just had to drop that in there. um yeah Stefanski and just I think everybody's the the whispers here in Cleveland are just like they're just over it some of this play some of these play the play calling and stuff I think is just getting a little i mean don I don't know is something going on you know with Sanders and Stefanski or they don't like you who knows you know you never know what's going on but

Speaker: So you well see man you think it wasn't a good idea to take the quarterback out on the two point conversion. Is that what you're saying? Oh, like that's what everybody's saying. Is that what they did?

Speaker: Yeah. Like yeah to tie. Yeah. To go ahead, right? No, to go ahead, but they missed it. So then they had to do a two point conversion the next touchdown. i mean, a lot of people are saying they should have just tied the game. Why would you do that? Right.

Speaker: you know Right, okay. And then they took him out and he was use playing amazing, so i don't know. You just don't know. That's been this week's Mjolnir Minute with a sprinkle of browns on top.

Speaker: Yeah, sprinkle of poo-poo. Jeff, do we have a poo sound effect? We probably should. craig Thanks for being you. Close enough.

Speaker: ah All right, Tom, it's time. worth mailer or Oh, yeah. Yeah. pra Well, yeah, probably. Seriously? we have We have time for a caller.

Speaker: That one was quick. I'll play it again. Seriously?

Speaker: We get it, caller. Technology is hard, but i frustrating. We don't currently have live call-ins enabled. We do, actually, but we just don't use it.

Speaker: Oh, we do. Maybe next season. Yeah. never given out the number. Tom, it's time for everyone's favorite segment of the show. Five questions.

Speaker: Since you're an avid listener, you'll be prepared for all of these questions. Five questions. Also, because you answered all these questions already. and We've already done this, Andy. Yeah, exactly. it done Hey, Tom, what's your Chipotle order?

Speaker: My Chipotle order? um

Speaker: A bowl, rice, pinto beans, um double chicken or double meat. Sometimes I go steak. And then, yeah, salsa, lettuce, guac, the fixings.

Speaker: Okay. Okay. Do you use the app? Nice and convenient? I don't. Or do you go in person? I just go in person. you know i I want to look them in the eyes.

Speaker: yeah Watch them make it. Their hands. You want to say double meat to a stranger. with kind oh yeah. That's my favorite part. Like when we get to it, just sometimes I blurt it out early and, you know, they're like, oh, that's, that sir, they're going to do that down there. Like no double meat.

Speaker: I want double meat. Give me double meat. Yeah. what did Do you ever say it really slow, though? Double meat. Oh, yeah. It's not syllables to really drink it out. Your lips while you do it?

Speaker: Yep. Of course. and then even so sometimes Correct. Correct. Correct. Correct. It is disgusting, Tom. But it's correct.

Speaker: Right? You rectified it. Right? yeah You fixed it this time. That's right. Well, hopefully you guys don't delete this part of the show again. You can't get the lettuce if you're going to use the app. tom It's only an in-person.

Speaker: You know, technology is hard. Like our callers have found out, technology is hard. We lost your audio. Not this time. This time it's going to make it. People are going to hear your truth, Tom. We're 99% uploaded already.

Speaker: So what is your favorite hobby with your significant other besides the obvious?

Speaker: um scuba diving or traveling. I mean, traveling's not really a hobby, but we love to travel, but scuba diving, probably. You were a lot more graphic last time.

Speaker: That's why was disgusting. Well, I that was just the last part. Did you not hear the first part again? You guys really need to get your systems checked. Well, without the first part, get it I guess we're going to have to give you the point.

Speaker: Okay. Correct. bre coman Correct. correct colback Correct. Maybe next year, Annie. Maybe next year. Whisper it to me, okay?

Speaker: Okay. This one, check the involved on. All right. So what is your mile time today and or if you trained for a month?

Speaker: Oh, geez. Mile time today.

Speaker: Uh, I don't know. That was 30 minutes. Good. yeah but

Speaker: Is that, um, today or is that? Uh, yeah, that was, well, that was yesterday. Okay. Um, I mean, I may have been drinking, but, uh, and then if I trained, oh gosh, don't know.

Speaker: Eight, eight minutes, seven and a half. Right. That's not right. Is that really If you train for one month. one month. I don't know. What's a good mile time? i haven't done that since like high school. what's What's a good mile old time? Like eight minutes, seven minutes? i don't know.

Speaker: I think eight's good. Yeah, I think eight's good. Pretty solid.

Speaker: Sure. So from 30, I mean, it's all about improvement, right? 30 minutes to eight minutes. Is there like a differential award? like That would be the biggest differential we've heard yet.

Speaker: Perfect. Jeff, I don't know. I don't, do you believe him?

Speaker: i didn't say i was gonna run the mile oh yeah sorry too late the score has already been entered sorry there's no way to change it yeah yeah it's on the record hey hey tom what's uh one one ah One of my youngest, Tom, ah he just started like a week ago. If he really wants you to know something, he puts a finger up and he says, for the record.

Speaker: Wow. That's amazing.

Speaker: Does he think someone's keeping a record of what he's saying? His sister, I believe, told him that there is a an official record somewhere. Wow. She's older. my My daughter the other day. Did everything that she' she, you know, be like, you know, they're like, dada, dada, mama, mama. She's like, mama, literally, listen to me.

Speaker: Or like, literally? Where is that coming from? Yeah. I love it. It's hilarious. Those are the moments.

Speaker: How old did you say? She's three and a half. Oh, my God. Good luck, Tom. Literally, Andy.

Speaker: ah but Tom, what's ah what's a TV show you bailed on after at least one season? When did you bail on it and why? um It's funny because i actually want to like watch again it again.

Speaker: is Isn't it Tulsa King with Sylvester Stallone? Yeah. I watched the first season. I think I even watched an episode or two the second season, but just got busy. but You got busy.

Speaker: Yeah. We're lost. So you would you would return to it? Yeah, I would check it out again. I think there's like season three came out, I believe. he He would go back to the show, Jeff.

Speaker: What does that mean? No, you're not. Jeff, no, you're not.

Speaker: As good as that track is, Tom, that's not bailing on a show. That's just running out of time or getting too busy. Okay. That's true. I guess that's not the right answer. yeah Usually, i I don't think I would bail on a show after watching a whole season. I think I would probably bail earlier. Okay. You wouldn't. Okay.

Speaker: You know what i mean i don't know if I'd get through a whole season to bail.

Speaker: Yeah, it's, a you know, some shows go on for seven, eight not more. Yeah, I guess. You know, what's sound hard it's tough, though, like Breaking Bad back in the day. I think I watched the first three or four episodes and I was like, yeah.

Speaker: And then I bailed on it for a long time. And then i don't even remember why. Maybe just all the hype. Everyone's like, it's so good. It's so good. I was like, OK, give this show a try again. And then obviously it really was amazing. okay So you you bailed, all right?

Speaker: Yeah. But then you came back, so. I came back. I'm indecisive, man.

Speaker: I think your scoring was probably accurate than Andy. Oh, yeah. Yeah, you definitely lost that point, Tom. Hey, Tom. Whatever. washcloth, hands, plastic scrubby thing, or other.

Speaker: Say that again? Lufa, washcloth, hands, plastic scrubby thing, or other.

Speaker: Oh, man. We're going go with loofah and hands. Got to get that double meat.

Speaker: ah Oh, no. Oh, no. yeah They don't make a loofah big enough. Loofah. It's a big loofah. Loofah. Correct. Correct. Correct. Brought to by Chipotle.

Speaker: brought to you by chippole

Speaker: Tom, the last question, if you're up for it, is... I'm up for it. but It's basically a soapbox. Your unpopular opinion. Is there something that you like that no one else does or every everyone likes that you don't?

Speaker: Normally, I would have prepped you with this, but we asked you this question. I'm just trying to remember what my answer was. yeah Was that week five? Yeah. um Check your notes, your diary. Something...

Speaker: Okay. This is probably an odd thing. And I don't know if you guys remember, I think I told you guys this at week five. Yeah. But I like Cheez-Its with Tabasco, which is interesting because I did it way back in the day before Cheez-It came out with their Tabasco version Cheez-It, which is trash.

Speaker: but Really? But Franklin some actual fresh Tabasco and then you just toss it like you would like buffalo wings. So the popular opinion is that the way that the brand does it is shit.

Speaker: Yeah. And the way that you do it is the correct way. Yeah. Okay. yeah i just I'm just clarifying it for Andy's scoring. upper Yeah. Clarified. That's clarified. But I would say that's an odd thing that probably a lot of people don't, wouldn't like or don't like, or i don't know.

Speaker: ah I feel like, I mean, they, but they came out with the, they came out with it though. They're, they're high. um yeah going for a quick snack or a child.

Speaker: So they're probably not, you know, there's not a lot of people that are tossing it with Tabasco. Yeah.

Speaker: Jeff, have you ever, have you ever Tabasco'd your Cheez-Its? No. Neither have I. Nope. You guys going to try it, though. Correct. Correct. Correct.

Speaker: i have tabasco thanks tom that's been this week's episode install me let mean in that episode jeff do we have any more callers let me check that hopeful play it's mailbox hopeful it's a different person

Speaker: This is a podcast, right? i I need you to start Kyle Pitts. I need Kyle Pitts in my starting lineup.

Speaker: It's K-Y-L l Andy? No, no, Nick, it's Jeff. You there? Okay, it's

Speaker: I need Kyle Pitts in my starting lineup. I don't know if you can hear him dialing there. Oh, okay. treatment he's He's still got 30 more seconds left on this voicemail.

Speaker: You know, to help the bit, we shouldn't have called it voicemails. We should have just gone with a live caller. Yeah, sure. Next time, we'll do the bit better. Yeah. We'll do it. We'll do the bit a bit better. Is it still going?

Speaker: It is. Yeah. Yeah. 10 more seconds. Okay. 10 seconds, MacGruber. Well.

Speaker: All right. That's it. Okay. that was Thank you. Caller. Yeah. Uh,

Speaker: be Our Game of the Week was um you know split between two. Tom, I'm sure you've seen the Game of the Week channel on our Discord. We're doing a lot of thumbs up in there, so I'm sure you've seen it A lot of thumbs.

Speaker: Who's got two thumbs and likes the Game of the Week? This guy. yeah That's true. What up, Kat? Thanks for listening. Yeah, so last week was...

Speaker: Oh, shit. Jeff, we're at we're at time. How much stoppage time do we have? ah Oh, checking the watch, checking the watch. We have six minutes of stoppage time. Six minutes of stoppage time. All right. So we're not going to hit all these bullets. yep But the last week's game of the week was me and the two seed versus Cody and the seven, I think.

Speaker: And much of this drama. He was the eight seed that time. Oh, he was the eight. Okay. What Jeff, you were wrote these. Yep. um Much of the drama. All right. So Tom going into the week, there was ah there, you know, we covered it last week. There, there was seven different playoff scenarios that could play out. And um Andy, I wasn't one of them.

Speaker: yeah get to that We'll get to that. Yours was the deep hole. um Yeah. So Jeff and Phil, me me and Phil both had a win and we had to beat Cody. I had to beat him by 20 and Phil had to beat him by 48. But ah what going into Sunday night, um Phil and I had both asked the bed pretty hard. um You know, we went we went for those big swing players and none of them hit.

Speaker: ah You know, lot of Kirk Cousin action. I get it. I get it. It came down to Monday night. And Andy was down by 13 points going into the night.

Speaker: ah Cody was screwed prior to the game by a late elevation of Omari and Hampton. He traded for him back in, you know you remember, back in week 10. Yeah. Right.

Speaker: um ah But the rest of the numbers, Sunday night probably should have wrapped it up. But Casey, Kansas city had a horrible night.

Speaker: Hurt Andy because Rishi Rice blew and Houston's defense scored a bunch of points for Cody. um Yeah, but the rest of the week was kind of boring. Jameer Gibbs had a good week.

Speaker: Who else? ah Jackson Smith and Jigba had a good week for Cody and then going into this chargers versus Philly game. Really all the Philly, all Philly had to do was just like be adequate.

Speaker: And Andy needed 13 points from his kicker, Cameron Dicker, Dicker, to the kicker. Yeah. yeah Yeah. And, and if Andy got those 13 points, then that meant that Cody wouldn't be 500 on the season.

Speaker: And he still would lock up that last playoff spot because Phil and I did so poorly. And then Cameron Dicker, the kicker, he had Andy, what? 20 points.

Speaker: Six field goals. Oh, yeah. Just. Just. Legging it up. Field goal fest. Maybe. But it was such a boring game that... There was another game going on There was another contest going on at the same time, Matt versus Jarrett.

Speaker: And they were both, they were the sixth and the seventh seed, both six and seven at the time. And whoever won made it into the playoffs. Yeah, that one was pretty exciting. That should have been the matchup of the week in our view cause because I was locked in. Cody was likely, you know unless Jeff scored 40 points or something. But these guys were playing to see who would be in.

Speaker: Right. 40 points more. If Jeff scored 40 points, then Tom's week five would be absolved. Yeah. So what happened here, Jeff?

Speaker: All right. So the champ needed a draw or a win, the champ being Matt, the reigning league champion, to defend his title in the playoffs. um Yeah.

Speaker: There wasn't really any fireworks going on this game. No. It was more or less like ah who could crawl to the finish line faster. Um, Jarrett had Joe Burrow go off for 25 plus points. The wrong Ohio, right?

Speaker: Tom, the wrong Ohio. Yep. a while Just wanted to clarify. Good. Uh, so coming into Monday night, Matt, Matt had 16 point lead, little, a little better than 16 points. Jarrett only had the chargers defense going. Tom chargers defense versus the Philadelphia Eagles.

Speaker: aren Aren't they the reigning Superbowl champions? Okay. So the reigning league champion needed the reigning Super Bowl champion to, you know, just be adequate. Step up.

Speaker: Yeah. Be adequate. ah And then Philly had five turnovers. And Jalen Hurts himself had two turnovers on one play. I saw that. Yeah. And turnovers are worth two points in our league.

Speaker: So that's 10 points right there. That Jarrett's made up. So he's now only down by six points. But also, as it's been heavily discussed in the Discord, um you get points for return yards this year.

Speaker: And the Chargers picked up seven, almost eight points on return yards.

Speaker: Therefore, Matt's done. Jared got the win by 3.7. Matt's done. the the The reigning champion is out of the playoffs, Tom. So you're in good company.

Speaker: And... We got one last voicemail. the the One last voicemail. Then I'll tell you what this means for you, Tom. Sup. I've been hearing in some chatter with the word bot. being thrown around ah from yeah some oblique bot things. I just want to point out that I sent Andy 40 bucks and you did too.

Speaker: Okay? So y'all are bot. Oh, bot. I thought he meant like B-O-T. Every team here is bot the same amount. So...

Speaker: that's That's it. That's what I got to say. Oh, and prepare to bow down to your new master.

Speaker: Now that's it. Now that's all have to say.

Speaker: We assume that's Brian. It sounded like him to me. yeah Thanks, Brian, for the call. Yep. Tom, we're we're almost out of time here, but the important part about... That number is always easy to remember and hard to forget.

Speaker: Thanks, guys. 612-293-6635. six one twelve two nine three si six three five

Speaker: Tom, the the the story of of Andy versus Cody um and how he he still got into the eighth seed is important because last season he was the last place finisher in the league.

Speaker: um And also last season, Tom, ah the eighth place you know playoff position went all the way to the final game and won.

Speaker: What I'm saying here is this week already, since we're now recording on Friday, we know that the eight versus one matchup is looking pretty dicey for the one seed because somebody didn't start Kyle Pitts, who got 40.

Speaker: on the bench. 50% of leagues um didn't start Kyle Pitts. So half of the people who play this silly game are kicking themselves thoroughly.

Speaker: But how this all applies to you, Tom, is ah special announcement that you, sir, are the victor of this season's Skullster Award.

Speaker: Congratulations. Yes.

Speaker: I just want to win awards, Andy. That's really what I'm about. Well, get ready, Tom, because you're going to have some things coming your way. You get the Skolster Toaster for an entire season. You get the commemorative plaque with your name emblazoned on it for all time.

Speaker: You get to be the keeper of these things for an entire year. And then, of course, unless you're last place again, you'll hopefully be sending it off to the list.

Speaker: person But in the meantime, Tom, we're going to need at least, Jeff, how many picks of Tom with toast during the season? 14. ah fourteen

Speaker: We're willing to negotiate here, Tom. If you're not in the States or if you're not at home, we will not. Save them in that camera roll. Oh, do 14 pictures.

Speaker: Same, but same just just different outfits. Just change shirts. Change shirts. Toast. Yeah, I love it. So, okay Tom, as a Skolster winner, do you have anything you want to say before we have to come today?

Speaker: I just wanna you know want to thank my listeners and my followers. and And we'll get them next year.

Speaker: Them being the pieces of toast. Yeah. The Vikings logo emblazoned on them. Yes. ye Perfect. Well, Tom, thanks for joining us again. It's an absolute pleasure to have you on twice this season. I hope this audio makes it. um yeah yeah hopefully Hopefully you guys don't delete this one.

Speaker: And thank you guys. That was fun. As always. Thanks Tom. Get some rest. Okay Andy. Just a quick cut in here. We've got some breaking news coming out of You Like That Fantasy

Speaker: I know we're recording late later than normal this week, Andy, but ah we did we do have the playoffs going on in the league right now. and Yeah. In the eight versus one matchup. um Looks like you might have updated the numbers there.

Speaker: But we have a forecast. ah No, you didn't? I didn't change anything. Oh, yeah, you didn't. Okay. Yeah, so Thunk's forecast as of Wednesday was 99.88 versus Cody's 121.73.

Speaker: um So on Thursday when I was looking at this, or Wednesday when i was looking at this, ah I realized that Thunker had 20 plus points on the bench and he had a really big call to make on Kyle Pitts. Should he play Kyle Pitts or not?

Speaker: um Cody also has a hard call at quarterback. um I'm not sure, you know, what what he's going to do there. he has He has two kind of questionable quarterbacks going this week. And then he's got a hard one at tight end too because Tyler Warren, who's been a stud tight end all year, um just got a new quarterback this week. And we're not 100% certain who it'll be, but it looks, as of Wednesday, it looked like it was going to be Phillip Rivers.

Speaker: Um, in the, two versus seven matchup, we had Andy forecasted at 120 versus Jared at 99 points. Uh, Jared has to go with the hot hand, but can Shahid do it again?

Speaker: Andy, you're going have to think hard about the quarterback. Do you, do you like who you have? Uh, is it dart in the snow? ah does he have more juice than Bursette in a dome?

Speaker: You know, I love domes. Yep. That's, that's why I pointed that one out. Thank you. I think Brian was third, right? You were second, right?

Speaker: Yes, I was second. So, so then that would be the three versus six matchup, Brian versus Ecom. Brian coming in with 122.98 point forecasts, which is the highest for the week.

Speaker: Congratulations, Brian. um You bought the best forecast of the week. ECOM was coming in at 102.46. Mike's got make twenty and a half points basically Um, now assuming that Ecom, I'm assuming that you can, we'll swap in T Higgins, uh, as of Wednesday, if he's healthy, um, for one of his other so, so wide receivers, Brian has DK Metcalf and MK, uh, egg Buka on the bench.

Speaker: And it probably makes sense, but it's insane. Cause those two guys are, you know, top, top 20 receivers, I think this one comes down to these four QBs. Which one shows up?

Speaker: I don't know what the hell that meant, but that was the note I wrote on Wednesday. and then the ah Drake versus Brock, you mean?

Speaker: Yeah. Yeah. Okay. They, they, they both have two QBs. So there a oh does, does Brian, does Brian play, um, Drake may, or does he play the, the Broncos guy that I'm already space. phone next Yeah.

Speaker: And then Mike, does Mike go with Brock Purdy or does he do the safe route? Um, not sure. Not sure. Trevor Lawrence. Yeah.

Speaker: Yeah, I think you got to go Trevor Lawrence because Purdy's been so, you know, up and down, up and down all season. And Lawrence has been kind of putting up consistent numbers. But, you know, don't know.

Speaker: Michael, have to make that call. Do you think Trevor Lawrence is Johnny Lawrence's son?

Speaker: i didn't I didn't watch the Street Fighter promo video that came out this week. So I'm not sure. thank ah Then the Kegger versus Kamen, the middle seeds.

Speaker: Kegger as of Wednesday was at a 104.84 to Kamen's 110.82. The question for Kegger that I was thinking about is...

Speaker: will he play Addison? You know, he took Addison pretty high and, uh, Addison's a Viking. Um, JJ had a good week, but I think he only threw two or three passes to add it. You know, like I think he only targeted Addison three times.

Speaker: So we'll, what will, what will Kager do at wide receiver? That was going to be kind of my, my big question. Yeah, Addison had, looks like, seven targets, Jeffrey. Four catches.

Speaker: And it's into ball involved Dallas gives up the most points to the wide receiver position. that's a That's a tough call for sure. Yeah. yeah I just also assume that because JJ you know didn't throw to JJ like at all last week, you know hardly ah any passes to Jefferson, you feel like... course, correct.

Speaker: Jefferson you know wasn't really like a squeaky wheel this week. Yeah. You'd think like they might force some to Jefferson this week to like make up for the fact that he's had a horrible season.

Speaker: and Well, tune in next week for the Meolar Minute to dive deep, deep um deep into that Vikings wide receiver situation room and for all the results of this week's final four matchups or whatever.

Speaker: ah some breaking news
