The Malting Hour

The Malting Hour is a craft beer podcast hosted by homebrewers and beer‑obsessed friends Brandon W and Tony Golec, with frequent appearances from Matthew Moldenhauer, Director of Operations at Old Irving Brewing. Each episode blends home brewing insights, craft beer reviews, brewery interviews, and the kind of funny beer‑podcast banter that only longtime friends can deliver.

Whether we’re talking brewing techniques, tasting new releases, hanging out with brewers we love, or diving into the stories behind great beer, we bring a mix of knowledge, humor, and genuine passion for the craft.

If you’re looking for a beer podcast with personality — part homebrewing talk, part craft beer interviews, part friends‑talking‑beer — you’re in the right place. Every episode features a new beer style, guest, topic, or conversation to keep things fresh.
