This week we're going back to we're it all started : Wales. The first country to legislate on the basis of the SDGs and the only country in the world, still, to have a statutory Commissioner for the wellbeing of future generations.

Zooming Out: Youth and Foresight Beyond Borders 

This week we dive into Australia’s state-based movement for future generations! Mirroring the momentum at the federal level, demand for legislative protections for the wellbeing of future generations is also building in Australia’s states and territories.

In this episode, we speak with Thomas Emerson MLA [https://www.thomasemerson.com/], an independent member of the ACT‘s Legislative Assembly, and discuss his leadership in advancing reform to make the ACT the first jurisdiction in Australia to have a Wellbeing of Future Generations Act. 

As a powerful advocate for community-led politics, Thomas explored what it means to lead with integrity and accountability in a system dominated by party politics.

From carer to youth advocate: youth driving change 

It's been a few weeks... we know!! But we are back with Episode 2 of the pod and once again, diving right in...
