Speaker: Welcome to Somewhere Else, a world-building and actual play podcast. I am Jerrica. And I am Janelle. I do not have an ASMR voice. I am sorry.
Speaker: Oh, she probably does, but she just refuses to try. Anyway, we got a fun prompt today. From Liz. Thank you, Liz. Imagine a world where telekinesis is willpower-based and dogs' strong will for snacks has caused them to develop it.
Speaker: They use it only for snacks and to play fetch so fast. Okay, so we have... Dogs. Okay, so Liz says telekinesis is willpower-based.
Speaker: Does anyone with will have telekinesis? So sounds like only dogs have it. Yeah, that's what I was, that was my understanding. Interesting. Okay. So, yeah, only dogs have it.
Speaker: And they only use it for snacks and to play fetch. So, hmm. I imagine keeping food away from dogs is almost impossible. In our world, you can put snacks far up on the counter where, like, your chicken, like, fresh roasted chicken that you just made, you can put that far up on the counter where the dog's not going to get it. But if that dog with telekinesis smells chicken, it can just say, hey, I want that, and it's going to come to them.
Speaker: This is a world where all dogs are fat because if they're able to get food anytime they want and they're using their telekinesis to play fetch means not running after shit.
Speaker: So this is the world of fat dogs. And then anti-telekinetic cupboards that people can lock food up in. Because imagine... woing and And fridges. They have to lock it. yeah Yeah. So like imagine, well, what if your dog is like a fucking border collie that's super smart? It's like, oh, I need to insert this key into the lock and then boom, I get my food. Well, you don't leave the key out.
Speaker: You have to lock the key too. No, you keep the key with you. Yeah. You definitely have companies out there that are making dog-proof cupboards and fridges and... Well, okay. Are we going to go with like modern era situation?
Speaker: where Where would you put this world at, development-wise? We kind of did a couple non-modern ones because the dinosaur planet was not modern. Right. Yeah. And Ngongo.
Speaker: Was like getting there. Maybe eventually they'll get like, you know. And Wittershins isn't modern. All right. So that's fine. Modern, a modern world. Okay. The fat dogs and locked cabinets. Okay. Well, hmm.
Speaker: Does this dissuade people from getting pet dogs? You can train a dog, right? You can train it. Hey, don't go up on the counter to eat my fresh chicken. Well, OK. I don't see it's will based.
Speaker: It's not intelligence based. So it's not that they're super smart. right it's so They want it so bad. So bad. that They rule yeah it can just manifest the means to get it to them. Yeah.
Speaker: so So like any dog. Yeah. Any dog can get that chicken off your counter if you really wanted it. So i I don't know about you, but I think that would be too much work for me to deal with a dog that does that. Kids are bad enough. They have like a child that's like, oh, yeah, I can just grab that off the counter if I want it. But now you have ah like a dog, an animal that could be bad.
Speaker: Yeah, so like people can get dogs. Oh yeah, dogs are easy, but now they're not so easy. Because if your dog wants to do a thing- Dogs are not easy. Cats are easy. Cats are easy, but- They- Here are just some other animals, like horses?
Speaker: I can't imagine horses being- I don't ever own a horse, but like, I've seen people take care of their horses. I know someone who takes care of horses. That's like his living. That doesn't look easy. None of that looks easy. And plus you have an animal that's large enough to kick you in the face and kill you.
Speaker: So yeah. Anyway, dogs compared to a lot of other animals are pretty easy. I grew up with dogs. You you walk them or out in the yard if it's fenced in and they do their business. You let them back in. and Yeah, but then you got to clean up after it.
Speaker: Yeah. So like it's willpower based. And did did you say that it's only for fetch and snacks or these are only for snacks and fetch? Yeah. Interesting. Because like dogs, or they have a strong will to do a lot of things.
Speaker: They get excited over a lot of shit, like chasing small animals. They want to do that, especially hunting breeds. And you have other dogs that have the will to do athletic things.
Speaker: You have shepherding dogs that just want to hurt animals. That's wo we what they want to do. They want to run, run, run, run and hurt animals. And then you have dogs like Huskies and Malibus that just want to run. So they're great for sleds.
Speaker: That's what they want to do. They just want run run, run, run, run. They're athletic dogs. They're working dogs. So that willpower is limited only to snacks and fetch. Interesting. So, like, why wouldn't their willpower telekinesis work for chasing after small animals? Like, it wants to kill a squirrel? Why i can't just telekinesis that squirrel they're closer to you?
Speaker: Maybe because they're dogs and they're not that smart. Like, ah really want the snack. But then we're going back into territory like, there are some really smart dogs. Okay, well, okay.
Speaker: But they really want the snack. I can see, okay, yes, that their desire for the snack lets them get the snack. ah i'll cry I see what you mean, because fetch and, like, chasing squirrels is kind of the same thing. Yeah, so, like, it can fetch the squirrel. Yeah, so, I mean. It can grab that squirrel that's running by. I mean, technically, let's just classify that as fetch.
Speaker: Chasing something, yeah. Okay. Fetch is chasing something and bringing it back. Yeah. Okay. So yeah, they can definitely catch squirrels. So I'm trying of other dogs to get crazy. or i and Granted, like you have to train a dog, say like canines. They're trained to go after, they sniff drugs. or they Okay, you meant like letter K, number nine.
Speaker: Yes. Not canines? Train canine units. Canine officers. Okay. They're nuts. Like, their training that they go through, they take down people in the thick armor padding so, like, they don't get their arms torn up by these dogs.
Speaker: But, like, they are trained. They think that that's fun because that's why they do it so well. That's fun for them. It's fun for them to find drugs and get a treat for it. It's fun for them to take down a bad guy and and get a treat for it or get played with.
Speaker: You're like, yay, I did a good thing. That's what canine officers do. They don't know that person's good or bad. They just know, hey, my officer partner told me to go chase that guy. If I bring him down, going to get played with. So like their will to chase down bad guys or find drugs.
Speaker: That's a canine unit's like will to do a good job. I'm just... Same with like any working dog. They have a will to do that job because they've been trained to do it. I guess not so much like service dogs. I know some people, their service dogs, like seizure lord dogs, they'll treat them for doing a good job. But generally, service dogs are trained to a point where they just do the thing.
Speaker: and it's just as natural to them as walking. Right. seeing eye dogs, therapy dogs. That's just what they do. Strong-willed actions of a trained dog. Your canine dogs, your herding dogs.
Speaker: So what's your point here? I'm just i'm just a curious, like... so i not i don't mean I'm just curious, like, what the telekinesis powers, what do they work for, what do they not work for?
Speaker: If it's limited to fetch or similar things, like fetching a squirrel or small animal or getting a snack, It's just limited to those things, but it wouldn't be limited to taking down a bad guy or finding drugs.
Speaker: yeah So the prompt says they've developed it, but only use it for snacks and fetch. Gotcha. That sort of implies that they could use it for other things, but they just don't. so that's interesting. The dog has the mind to only use their powers to get food and play fetch. Interesting. Interesting.
Speaker: Say if you have a really fucking dumb dog, would it still have the mindset like, oh, I'm only supposed to use these powers for snacks and fetch? Or would it not use them at all? Okay, okay, okay. I've got this idea.
Speaker: What if they could only use it for snacks and fetch because that's the law? But not the law. but Dog law? Dog law. Not made by people, made by dogs. So in this world, the dogs communicate with each other.
Speaker: They're called mentally or they just like... No, they're like they hu dogs talk to each other. So there's a hidden dog society. Oh, God. And the canine units are police ah for people and for dogs. my God. They get arrested on their dogs. Yep.
Speaker: What's your German Shepherd doing with my golden retriever? Oh, he's been a bad boy. You're going to the dog pound, Rusty. Oh, man. i Not again. I just got out. Yeah, so there's like a dog society and it's against the law to use the... Because, okay, maybe it's like the rules for Vampire the Masquerade. The reason that the masquerade is a thing.
Speaker: It's for the protection of the vampires. Because if they just go willy-nilly doing what they want, people are going to be like, let's kill vampires. Yeah.
Speaker: And, you know, i think in the lore of that game that happened, so they're like, yeah, let's not do this anymore. Don't show yourself because then the food will start an uprising. Gotcha. Gotcha. So what if it's similar to that? So if dogs use their telekinetic abilities for whatever they want, the humans would probably be like, um yeah, let's just do something with these dogs.
Speaker: And maybe they don't want that. So is the dog society known by humans or is it so secret? Okay. It's a secret dog society. the try is he like so like let's let's go back to this German Shepherd police canine officer and poor Rusty, the golden retriever who fucked up.
Speaker: So when Rusty gets arrested by this fucking German Shepherd, what happens to Rusty's family? Do they like say, oh, Rusty ran away. Where's Rusty? Rusty ran away. no Oh my god.
Speaker: How would the police dogs arrest the rule breakers? Like, would they do it secretly? Like, they break into somebody's house and say, hey, Rusty, you're coming with me. When Rusty's family's just like, oh, Rusty, why don't you all go outside and play with the neighbor's dogs? It's like, oh, no.
Speaker: I'm a wanted man. See, that's the thing. He knows. He knows he fucked up and he knows he can't go outside. But he's going to have to go outside because people don't want him to shit everywhere. if You shit in the house, Rusty. You got go outside. Yeah. He makes it so quick.
Speaker: But, you know, dogs work well in packs. So you have some. God, do you have like fucking on the middle of the night, this like elite pack of police canines that are just doing their shit. Mm hmm.
Speaker: Bam. You could have one that like does a distraction so the humans go out to the opposite side and the other one who shows up and is like, we can do this one of two ways, Rusty.
Speaker: The easy way where you just come with talent. Now I'm imagining. Or the hard way. Now I'm imagining to arrest the rule breakers. They put a cone of shame around them instead of a fucking like handcuffs. Yeah. Where are they going to get a cone of shame? don't know.
Speaker: Where they get fucking telekinetic powers? Fair enough. I have the will to grab that cone of shame off the shelf to book Rusty. I think it's more of like, they're still dogs though, right? So they have this like instinct and like they have a pack mentality.
Speaker: So if the canine unit tackles Rusty and shows dominance over Rusty, Rusty instinctually is going to submit.
Speaker: I just say fucking show dominance when I'm the one that knows how dogs show dominance. Okay, well, is this about peeing? They hump each other. Okay, well... I mean, generally, but like, yeah, i do they do have other things where it's like, they can bear teeth or whatever, but like, if they don't submit, generally, it's just like, oh, if I mount you, you're my bitch.
Speaker: Let's not do that in this world. No. Because I just don't want to. That is also not what I had in mind. I meant like the canine unit tackles Rusty and like pins him down. Okay, I'm stronger than you. yeah That's what I meant. Okay.
Speaker: So we got data stabbed. That's how that works apparently. Okay, so back to Rusty and this German Shepherd. Yeah, Rusty's trying to, like, poop fast, right? And he's, like, keeping his head on a swivel.
Speaker: But he's no match for these trained operatives. And all of a sudden, out of the darkness, comes rushing German shepherd. And he is snatched, in a cone of shame, and dragged away The pound, obviously.
Speaker: is it the actual pound where people can, like, adopt out dogs, or is it like, a secret underground dog jail? That dogs are kept there for their crimes and then maybe brought to the surface one day as a stray?
Speaker: well rusty Well, I wasn't thinking about that. Rusty's family ever see Rusty again? i wasn't thinking about that, but now that you said it, that like sounds more interesting. Here's the thing, though, but, like, if they take him to the pound, like the actual pound, Rusty's family can find him the next day, say, oh, Rusty, there you are. so like, was he ever really punished?
Speaker: He just missed his family for a day. But no, like, if he broke the law, he's going to to disappear for a while. I love how your mind works. Okay. So we have an underground dog jail where rule breakers are taken. Torture is kind of a trigger for some people, so I won't get into it. but you No, we're not torturing dogs. No, we're not. The doll the dogs are But what's torture for a dog? Like, oh, here's a nice grilled chicken, but you can't have it. It's got to sit outside your kennel, and you're to sit and salivate over it for a But they're telekinetic, so they can... Maybe telekinesis doesn't work in dog jail.
Speaker: Hell no. Maybe if there is a company out there that built dog-proof shit, maybe just down here dog jail they have dog-proof containers for rotisserie chicken. is It's just like, hey, you really want this good, delicious rotisserie chicken? Well, you can't have because you've been a bad boy, or Rusty.
Speaker: Okay, that's probably more palatable than what I was thinking, because I was picturing this dog jail like as like a canine Guantanamo Bay. Oh, fuck. No, I'm thinking like... I'm thinking fucking waterboarding. No, I'm thinking like dog torture. are Like, you can't have the delicious snack. Here's some basic-ass kibble that you're going to eat. It's disgusting kibble that no one likes, but you can't have the good-tasting food over there. And guess what? We're going to play fetch in front of you, but you can't join us. You can't play with us.
Speaker: You get to sit in that kennel all by yourself with your shitty food and your shitty bed and you're not going to be pet for a few months. No screeches behind the ears.
Speaker: That's dog torture. Anyway, moving away from torture. So how long will the dog spend in prison? It depends on how much they broke. I mean, they got to go to dog court and get sentenced. There's a dog court, a dog judge.
Speaker: Of course there is. What breed is dog, Judge? Any breed, Janiel. What are you talking about? no I'm just imagining just like this fucking bulldog thinks it's a wrinkly ass bulldog. And he's flappy jowls.
Speaker: Okay, I like that. It doesn't have to be a bulldog. can be any dog. Like, well... Instead gavel, he has a fucking squeaky toy that he slams down on the table. Now, okay, now I'm picturing a bulldog wearing one of those like British... Little wigs. Little wigs.
Speaker: Okay. Okay. That's why I mentioned a bulldog. It's definitely bulldog in this little wig and and ah the the gown and everything. Okay. They're robes, not gown. Come on. Yeah.
Speaker: All right. Okay, cool. In some places, in the place that Rusty lives, the the judge is a bulldog. The local local judge is a bulldog. An English bulldog. That's why he wears the wig.
Speaker: All right. Oh, God. And the thing is, is that they learned all of this from people. Right. Yeah. They get trained as cops. Yep. Right. Lawyers have dogs.
Speaker: People watch Law and Order. Dogs watch Law and Order. I feel like this is what happens. Right. Here's the other thing that I'm going to propose. I'm going to propose that the little yappy dogs, people stopped breeding them. Because there's no chihuahuas. There's no Pomeranians.
Speaker: Because they could not control themselves. The ultimate rule breakers. Yeah, because, like, they couldn't control themselves and, like, people would come home to messes and they don't... they're Like, how the hell did you get up there? But they believed that the dog got up there, right? So... Oh, maybe it wasn't the people who stopped breeding them.
Speaker: Maybe it was... How would dog society deal with that situation? Would deal with very energetic dogs? Who had willpower but had no control over it.
Speaker: Right. maybe Maybe that's what it is. Okay. So it's willpower, right? They don't have willpower. They just give in to every instinct, every impulse. So they never developed it.
Speaker: there's some dog breeds that don't have it. Yeah. Okay. I can see that. Yeah, please, God, don't let. Jack Russell's or equivalent dog breeds ever get superpowers because we would be fucked.
Speaker: That little dynamo just running around. Hey, you can stick him a box of a treadmill and he'll run and you'll he'll power your house. Is what I was thinking. Has Janiel said it?
Speaker: So they got their little doggy court. Yes. So Rusty gets marched up there and he has to plead. and Does he get a little dog lawyer? Yeah.
Speaker: What breed is his dog lawyer? I'm sorry. I'm just like so invested in this now. We'll save that for the actual play, I guess. Any breed can be a lawyer, Janie. I'm just asking his particular breed of dog.
Speaker: Okay. So you want to know in this this very specific scenario. I want to Whipbit. Why? Do you know whippet looks like? No. Alright, searching up a whippet.
Speaker: The first picture that comes up is what I had in mind. Oh, yeah. okay like Especially the dark ones. I think they're already rank wearing a little suit. Okay. And read it, it says a medium-sized graceful sighthound from England from its speed and affectionate gentle nature.
Speaker: or a greyhound. greyhound also works. Okay, ah sure. Rusty's lawyer can be a whippet. Amazing. It's just a small greyhound. I don't know why he didn't just say that.
Speaker: So yeah, and he gets sentenced to, i don't know, is it like by months? Like, if that's more for the actual play, I shouldn't be saying, oh, what did Rusty do? Well, okay, mean, I don't think our intrepid explorers, ID and OD, are going to like break Rusty out of jail. Yeah, I don't think that's going to happen. That's an innocent dog right there. That's a good boy. But, like, we're world building, so... During world building, we're not thinking about Odeonite yet.
Speaker: No. So, okay. Rusty broke the rules about he used telekinesis for something else. So, example rule like breaking. The... Um... Maybe he did something to help his person.
Speaker: Oh, so he was a good boy. yeah but he knew better. Yeah, he was. like And he. OK, so maybe he like good boy in the eyes of his master, but not for the dogs.
Speaker: Again, master... Is human. Yeah. I don't... Is person. Here's what I'm picturing. Rusty is going to go to the park with this person.
Speaker: And this person, like, goes to unlock the door and drops their keys right over a storm drain. Oh, no.
Speaker: And so Rusty, before the person even realizes what happened, Rusty like scoots those keys away so they don't fall in the storm drain.
Speaker: But then the German shepherd down the street said, oh I saw fucking saw that. Yeah, I think. See, now this is now this brings up another question. How would anybody fucking know?
Speaker: Yeah, like, would it be reported by like, another dog who saw that? would the humans start to suspect something? The cats. Oh, my God. The cats are spies. The cats are spies. Yes.
Speaker: Oh, man. That tracks, though, because they can, like, get anywhere they want. They can get up a tree and spy on the dogs. Just think about CCTV. CCTV. You are encroaching on dogs versus cats territory. Or cats versus dogs, whatever fuck those movies are called. Okay, but just think about it this way, though. Think about it this way.
Speaker: Cats, they don't give a shit about a lot of things. So they don't actually care. But dog government, you know, it... We won't wage war on the cats if we do this for us. Makes it a while somehow, right?
Speaker: So, and not all cats, obviously. a lot of cats are assholes. um Some cats are just assholes for no reason. Yeah. So those are the cats that are reporting the dogs. Yeah.
Speaker: They have no fucking reason for doing it besides being an asshole. Yeah. Oh, I hate your guts, Rusty. You're out time. You chase me up a fence. Probably. We don't have to do the cat sting. I find it entertaining, though.
Speaker: Because, yeah, it does get into dogs and cats. The classic trope, dogs versus cats. let's Let's not do the cats, then. Let's just make this all about dogs. Yeah, there's Neighborhood Watch. Yep.
Speaker: I saw Rusty Scoot weighed the keys. He's not supposed to do that. But yet, like, i imagine his lawyer arguing in court. He fetched the keys. Ooh, okay. But the judge wasn't having it.
Speaker: He wasn't playing fetch. his His human was not playing fetch with him. It's dog pound with him. Yep. He gets sentenced to... Now, the sentences are are a lot shorter because dogs don't live as long as people. Yeah.
Speaker: Maybe a few weeks or month. Maybe, like, maximum punishment is, like, a year or something. mean, hot crimes are heinous why enough that... What rule? What, like, what would the dog have done to deserve a year and a pound?
Speaker: Damn. You see Fluffy over there? Fluffy's been here for nine months. What did Fluffy do? You want a mess with Fluffy. And Fluffy's this fucking Pomeranian.
Speaker: Tried to stage a coup? ah tried to overthrow the government! Yeah, maybe maybe we damn maybe Fluffy and a bunch of other, you know, rabble-rousing pups all swarmed a particular white house on a street on, ah on I don't know, in like January, early January, and just went into this house and was like fucking things up.
Speaker: It's a fucking like butcher's truck. Fucking meat delivery. And this fucking luffy-ass Pomeranian strolls up there with a bunch of her other dogs that are with her. as It's like, let's raid this fucking meat truck. Her lawyer was like, well, it's for snacks.
Speaker: So we've got the criminal justice system figured out. What else about this world? I really like the Underground Dog Society.
Speaker: Who governs the Underground Dog Society? Is there a dog president or dog queen or king? Surely there has to be something. Or is the Underground Dog Society more like a cult and it's had like one leader?
Speaker: i don't think that would work. So... Dogs. Underground dog society have branches of government? Or just the judicial system? Is the judge the leader? Maybe.
Speaker: all the judges are the leaders and they have... Yeah, okay. But now I'm thinking about little doggy campaigns and that sounds kind of cool. know, vote for Rusty.
Speaker: Wasn't Rusty convicted of breaking the law? it was just the one time he's really he's truly a good boy. Rusty's a convicted felon. He can't run. can run very fast, actually. Not as fast as my lawyer. Damn, look at him go.
Speaker: i got nothing. i We're just going to act out the actual plan right here. About Rusty and his lawyer. Okay, moving away from Rusty and his lawyer, have to figure out how this came to be.
Speaker: Yes. That's usually the last thing I bring up. Okay. Here's a question. Did dogs always have this, like going back to the wolves? No. No. I don't think so because... Because Liz specifically said dogs. Mm-hmm. Okay. Hmm. I imagine when dogs started development, it's like, oh, yeah, that's fucking weird that my dog just brought his ball to them without moving or ate my chicken off the counter even though it was way high up. So... Like, how would humans... Not know about it?
Speaker: Well... Maybe they Yeah. going say, how would they not know about Because they's playing fetch with them, and the dogs use it to play fetch. Okay. So they would have to know. But then would people just be like, I'm sure when they first started developing, it's like, okay, that's fucking weird. My dog can suddenly float things.
Speaker: That's weird. but That's all he can do. That's all he can do. Knowing our fucked up world, would try to use it to our advantage. But if it's the dog's own willpower to satisfy their own will, they're satisfying their own will to play fetch and feed themselves, they wouldn't use it for anything else.
Speaker: So, like, how long has this been going on for to the point where people are just like, oh, yeah, that he just does that. Okay, so I feel like it would have to be, like, everyone would just have to know that that's just what dogs are. Yeah.
Speaker: My dog takes his shit outside, and he also teleports the baseball I throw to him every day. Yeah, like... That's what a dog does. Yeah, everybody in this world knows that. I mean, it would be really fucked up if it was the creator of a dog-proof cupboards that somehow figured out to how to give dogs telekinesis so that their product would be needed. all the products That would be kind of fucked up. The prompt says that dogs developed thing. Yeah, they developed it. like, it's like almost like a natural occurrence, it sounds like.
Speaker: But i imagine like the first time it started showing up people were like, whoa, that's weird. But now it's just a fact of life. Dogs are telekinetic. And that's why the canine units are even more respected.
Speaker: Oh, yeah. Because they can fetch that bad guy who's running away. Or at least get the drugs. Yep. Do the canine units have special permission to use theirs in the line of duty any reason?
Speaker: i would think so. That's what they're trained to do. So, like, if they weren't, if they didn't do their job, there would be no canine units, Right. Right. They would be normal canine units. Chase that bad guy, tackle him, or find the drugs or the bomb in the suitcase or whatever.
Speaker: But they wouldn't use their telekinetic powers to fetch the drugs, fetch the bad guy They would just do the normal thing. Yeah, what if they tried to to to teach him to do that and then... I swore into dog law that I didn't get to do this. They just couldn't get him to do it. So like they they just gave up.
Speaker: That's probably what happened. Like, they tried to, people tried to, like... that's what saying. they probably tried to use their powers to our advantage. But... Used them as a tool, but then, like... it It just, they wouldn't do it. It's only for snacks and fetch.
Speaker: So, and... That's it. And they they couldn't, no matter how many experiments or whatever, they couldn't figure out. They couldn't get of those dogs to break. And imagine one dog they did manage to break, but you know what?
Speaker: All they heard was... but for so like this dog screaming like yes there's an underground dog society we we have a little judge and a little late with little wig and everything and and greyhounds for for lawyers not greyhounds whippets whippets whippets but like the entire time people were just like wow this dog's barking up a storm isn't he cute and every dog in that vicinity is just like oh shit man he's spilling the beans okay i like this the people know but They don't really give a shit about anymore. That's just part of owning a dog is you have to just like when you whenever you get a pet, you've got to get certain, you've got to buy certain stuff.
Speaker: And when you buy a dog, you've got to buy You've got to dog proof your house. Yep. So you have a kid or a very smart cat. You child block everything in your kitchen.
Speaker: Or the closets that your cat can open. Every day I come home and those doors are ajar. I'm like... It's like come to my kitchen and I see like half the cat that's open. It's like, oh, Stevie was doing this.
Speaker: It's the only cat in my house that does that. But we're not talking about cats. We're talking about dogs. Okay. So think people will just have to be like, oh, so they're aware. So like they have to like, oh, there's a dog. I'm not going to go near it because I've got a Slim Jim in my pocket. Yep. Which perhaps is a bigger problem.
Speaker: An open Slim Jim in your pocket. What are you even doing? And so they'd be like, oh, okay. Well, if I go near the dog, I'm going to lose my food. And so that's the decision I'm making. ah definitely It's definitely a different world when dogs just can suddenly snatch food from you.
Speaker: Like, I imagine have to have more training to not beg at the table because dogs wouldn't simply beg at the table. They would steal food off the table. have to train that dog, hey, no food. No food for you. maybe that's Maybe it's possible to train the dog to not use their... Like, imagine that is trainable, because imagine how hellish it would be to live with a dog that would steal your food from you.
Speaker: If you just want to sit down and have a nice meal with your family, and suddenly that your chicken nuggets teleport away, or you'll get floated away to your dog who's just sitting there. That would be a nightmare. Yeah, so now there's special obedience schools that focus on, and maybe when you get a dog, the dogs have to be trained. Yeah, to go for training, yeah. Unless you buy like a bred-trained dog.
Speaker: You can get trained animals. You get trained service dogs, essentially. If you can buy an already trained service dog, can buy an already trained dog that doesn't use his telekinesis to eat your food. And I think probably a lot of people do that, but some people don't, you know. Because they train themselves.
Speaker: Or, mean, some people don't train their dogs at all. Oh, yeah. Some dogs have no manners. that and that's Listen, guys, if you have a dog, give them basic training. Don't jump up on people. Don't beg at the table. Don't nip.
Speaker: Don't bite. Basic training, guys. Don't freak out every time the male person comes to your door. Yes. Yeah, I imagine dog training is a must when it comes to telekinesis because, again, you would never have a peaceful meal in your life with that dog. Yeah.
Speaker: Do we have anything else that we can talk about in this world? I don't think so, because I'm really satisfied with the underground dog society that maintains the the secrecy of dog powers.
