Season 3: ReBlooming Again!

There is something meaningful about beginning again.

As we step into our third season of ReBloom, we find ourselves reflecting on all that has unfolded—both in the in-between spaces and in the moments that asked more of us than we expected. Seasons have a way of doing that. They stretch us, reshape us, and invite growth we could not have planned.

In this opening episode of the year, we sit down together to talk honestly about where we have been, what we have learned, and the steady ways we are choosing to rebloom. Not through dramatic declarations, but through everyday decisions. Through paying attention. Through making room for hope. Through believing that beauty still has a place, even after difficult chapters.

At its heart, ReBloom is a conversation between friends. It is also about resilience—the choice to begin again and the recognition that creative growth rarely moves in a straight line.

As we welcome this new season, we hope that these conversations feel like a companion to your own journey. Whether you are in a season of growth, rest, grief, joy, or somewhere in between, there is space for you here. There is always the possibility of new life, new perspective, and beauty ready to unfold.

Thank you for being part of this community. We are grateful to begin again—with you.

Peace, Love and ReBloom

Introduction to Rebloom

00:00:02
Speaker
Welcome to Rebloom, a podcast about change, creativity, and coming back to yourself. We are Lori and Jamie, and this is a space for honest conversations with people who felt that quiet nudge to realign, whether that's in their work, their creativity, or their everyday lives.
00:00:21
Speaker
Each episode is a conversation about becoming, about listening closely, making shifts, and finding your way back to what matters. So if you are in a season of change, you're questioning or starting again, we are really glad you're here.

Season Three Launch Reflections

00:00:40
Speaker
Well, hello, my friend Lori, and welcome to season three. Can you believe we are on our third season, Jamie? i cannot. i cannot. I'm like just kind of pinching myself about it. i mean, i know. Remember how scared we were in the beginning? no.
00:00:58
Speaker
And this, you know, for everybody who's out there, this started this started as somewhat of a dream, a conversation. It started with something, another project that Lori and I were doing.
00:01:11
Speaker
And it also goes to show you that sometimes doors close and doors open. And that particular door closed. I was at a point in my career and my journey and ah personally where I needed to have something. And Lori graciously said, well, maybe I said, we're doing a podcast. Yes, you did. i came in from being out of town. Yeah, I did. And we're talking with you and you said, we're doing a podcast. I'm like, I don't have a podcast personality. I don't want to deal with the tech. right know
00:01:48
Speaker
last and gold We faced our fears and did it. We did it. We did it. And I didn't want to face, I didn't want to do the tech either, but it was a challenge. It was something that I needed at the time.
00:02:01
Speaker
And you were such a great friend and so gracious to kind of say, all right, well, we'll give this

Early Challenges and Support

00:02:07
Speaker
a go. And I said, look, I'll do some of the heavy lifting as far as some of the, you know, the tech and all that. And We started out season three just for full disclosure with tech issues. Yes, we did. And thank God it's just us on this. right Thank it's just us. And thank God for Jet Creative.
00:02:25
Speaker
I have to give them a huge plug because speaking of tech, yeah I don't know that we would have done it without them. We would definitely not have done it without them. And Sarah and Emily um really ah stood up at a time and said, we support women businesses. We support this idea. For those of you who are thinking of podcasts, well, they they make no money initially, unless you're big and famous. um But we don't care. We're here to do it because we really believe, as do Sarah and Emily, that these stories are important to share.
00:03:01
Speaker
And we want to keep doing it. And they have graciously helped us with some of the real technical aspects of this podcast and have been just phenomenal partners. And maybe we're not getting rich on it, but we are we are having the most wonderful conversations and things seeds for other things come from these conversations. Connections are being made, not only for us, but for the people we talk with. yeah So, you know, we so need community and support for one another, um especially now. So it's filling our buckets in that way.
00:03:44
Speaker
It sure is. And as you said, when we speak to some of our friends and listeners, they give us such lovely feedback. And so we know that these stories are resonating and it's that fundamental belief that we all are taking pivots in our life and there's an apprehension and a fear and that's often very normal.
00:04:07
Speaker
But if you just start, if you just do it, you just try a little bit at a time, it may lead you in the most wonderful direction.

Career Pivots of Guests

00:04:17
Speaker
Yeah. So, so Jamie and i before we but pushed record, we were looking at our Instagram feed, which shows all of the people who we've interviewed so far. And course we pat each other on the back all the time. Cause we're like, look at us, look what we're doing. But It also, looking back, I'm like, oh my gosh, I think of each person and each story. and
00:04:44
Speaker
there's so many wonderful nuggets to be taken from each episode. Each episode. i mean, we have, I'm looking at, I'm looking at it right now. We've got Denise Graves, who's mezzo-soprano and is just retiring actually, but she's making these beautiful pivots to help other young artists work. succeed in opera and succeed in the arts. And she's incredible. um Nava Perlman Frost, who was a concert pianist and it had a complete shift. And now she's making the most incredible cakes. They're just stunning. They're just stunning. And I got the chance to speak with Beulah and Ziggy from Chateau Orcavo, which Jamie just got an acceptance letter to go to. And, you know, here's the thing, the the way that these seeds are planted.
00:05:40
Speaker
Lori mentioned, oh, i'm I've been accepted to Chateau Orcavo. And I'm like, what is that? I didn't know because I'm not in the arts community. I wasn't, yeah I mean, in a different, more in the floral world.
00:05:52
Speaker
And she told me what it was. She told me how life-changing it was. We had Beulah and Ziggy on. It was the most incredible conversation with them. And we've had a couple other friends who've applied and gone. And I thought, well, they take photographers. I'm going to apply. And they accepted me for 2027. There was a in my group and our friend Diane Capa. who was another one of our guests.
00:06:20
Speaker
She spoke about how life-changing that experience was. And our other friend, Caroline Simus, who was one our first guests in this season, she is there now.
00:06:32
Speaker
And i can't wait to hear her experience. Her photos look amazing. So i don't know. We just, these conversations, you just never know where they're going to lead.
00:06:43
Speaker
And i am so thankful that we said yes. I am so thankful that you said yes, that our guests have said yes. I mean, because we have just had, i mean, Annie Sloan. We talked to the Annie Sloan, which is incredible. We're not even naming Justina Blakeney, Mancy, Matthew Lyons. I mean, all of them just...
00:07:05
Speaker
I mean, it's just a huge,

Themes of Authenticity and Creativity

00:07:08
Speaker
huge selection of folks. and But not to reiterate all of them, because we certainly hope you'll go back if you've missed some and listen to some of their stories because they're all beautiful about their journeys. They're all different. We sometimes hear common threads. um Let's talk about some of those for a second. mean, like I think- Oh, that's a good idea. Yeah. One of the big ones is- parents who shut you down and wanted you to have the real job and wouldn't pursue the arts. Right. Another one that I see is, and you know this because I always ask this question, is people often pivot back or circle back to something that they loved when they were young. Yeah. And they somehow veered away from that for whatever reason, but their heart
00:07:56
Speaker
called them right back. But often along the way, they were picking up little breadcrumbs hu that ultimately kind of all come together into maybe a journey ah part of the journey that feels really authentic and heart-centered.
00:08:15
Speaker
Yeah. And I think that's what, when we talk to a lot of them, it certainly was that heart-centered work that they were coming back to. And you're right. It was... And and there's there's a there's a time and a season for everything. And sometimes, and many of them have had to have the you know the the nine to five job that really was more, um,
00:08:36
Speaker
I don't want to say mechanical, but just, you know, not artistic, not creative, not something that inspired or or talked to their heart and soul. And then they were able to weave back in some of that creativity when kids got older or that they were able to take a turn from the job or something and then grow it from there. And that it just shows that, you know, that to me, that just shows that we always need to have that little piece of creativity in our, in our world, if we can make it happen.
00:09:04
Speaker
Yeah, and we we interview people who but who have made major shifts, you know, going from one profession to a completely different profession. yeah But often we interview people who have made tiny little shifts. they They're in a creative field, but maybe what they started out doing...
00:09:27
Speaker
it just evolved. So it wasn't a complete, you know, shift, but it was more of a refinement and a focus, which I think that is just as important.
00:09:39
Speaker
I do too. I think that, you know, you just allowing yourself to grow creatively, no matter what phase you're I think always allows you to bring, i don't know, even if it doesn't work out, for instance, I think I've shared with everybody I've been playing with procreate just so much for the past year, I've been having a blast with it. And I have made a I make something probably almost every day, not really worthy of sharing necessarily, but I'm still trying to figure it out, but it may end up back in my photography. Like it's sort of all coming back around
00:10:15
Speaker
And so I don't know, one path may lead to another, but may lead you back. I don't know. It's

Creativity as Therapy

00:10:19
Speaker
interesting. It's just fun. I think you should start sharing some of those images, Jane, because I've seen them. And yeah she's making this cringe face. faceci weird Face your fear, just like you started putting your your photos of flowers. I think it's time. It's time for you to share that part of your journey. I think you're right. And, you know, what's very interesting to me, too, which, ah you know, I'm very much about analog, about doing things that I can touch and feel and antiques and and flowers and things that i I mean, I just love texture and everything about it. But it's interesting when you play on the computer and now with chat, it's just adding in a whole different level of
00:11:04
Speaker
taking things and turning it into something else. And I'm not sure it's also I'm not sure how I feel about that. I'm kind of just. Well, I don't think anyone i I have a conversation about this like every day. yeah I mean, it's it's a tool and you're using it to play an experiment. But I do feel like um and I shared this yesterday, I think, or a couple days ago on Instagram that I was feeling really anxious when I woke up that day and just about everything. I have a lot to do, but also just things in the world and all of it. And I posted about how important creativity has been for me, a constant companion. And I, I have this quote in it that I just said it and somebody actually shared it. It was creating will always be my therapy as magical soothing powers.
00:11:56
Speaker
And I really feel that way because when I go and i play with clay or you know, pain or drawl, everything goes away. And so that's part of the mission. I mean, people don't have to be painters or, you know, creative in the sense or an artist in the sense that maybe the first thought you have an artist, but any kind of creativity, I think, is so important to everyone's heart, soul, their health.
00:12:28
Speaker
I could not agree more. And I do think that that's also another common thread that we heard through many of our guests, whether it be music, cooking, walks in the woods, nature. um Coming back to some type of creativity is so important. And you and I have had this conversation. We've talked about it on the podcast.
00:12:49
Speaker
Certainly, our life was turned upside down and with the loss of our daughter. And even before that, we faced a lot of challenges and creativity was the thing that grounded me.
00:13:02
Speaker
It just grounded my heart and my soul. It gave me those minutes. those I talk about it now as sort of micro moments. to just breathe. And sometimes you need that time and space where you're not, you're just thinking about art or thinking of not really thinking you are, but you're not to just give you that pause to then have the strength to deal with whatever you're dealing with. And, and that's certainly been true for me.
00:13:30
Speaker
Absolutely. And along with, I think like I just did, I'm so amazed by you, Jane, and how I know i you've described what this has been for you to me, but I think the fact that you wanted to channel your energies into this podcast that is hopefully helping other people in some way.
00:13:54
Speaker
yeah i think that's another thing. I mean, I have lots of friends this year and the years before who are experiencing loss. So it's been kind of top of mind for me yeah as well.
00:14:08
Speaker
So that's another reason why I think what we're doing hopefully has meaning and hopefully touches people in some way. we I think that it is underlying really the thing that we We all hope. We hope for. you and I both hope for. And and you and I talked about um threads of hope. And this has been

Importance of Community

00:14:32
Speaker
this has been my thread of hope that you need, when when things are very challenging, you need to cling to just the littlest light,
00:14:42
Speaker
just the smallest light that you can see is out there. So, you know, you can move forward and you may not know how, you may not know what it's going to look like. It's going to be probably completely different, which it is, it has been for us.
00:14:56
Speaker
But when people sit with you and let you allow, allow you to sit with your grief and allow you to, um Just be like my puppy. I hope nobody can hear. come to your Carolina in the background. The deer must be out back. um But when you when you're allowed to do that and have that, um you see that small bit of light that helps you to move forward. And you're right. This podcast, while it seemed...
00:15:27
Speaker
In some ways, I mean, I'm like, I can't believe I'm doing this and starting this now. And at the time, I don't, I'm not sure I knew. All I knew is that I needed to keep moving and this helped me to keep moving. And thank you. So yes, it's, it's been a journey.

Speaker
If you are craving space to reflect and reconnect, we'd love to have you with us. Details are in the show notes, and now let's jump back into our conversation.
00:16:51
Speaker
you You shared a story with me a couple days ago about the choose joy. oh yeah. So you have to share that story. You can maybe bleep out the part. we one where So my dear, my dear Kellen, my sweet girl.
00:17:09
Speaker
And you know we've we've all been grieving as a family. And you know you you try to move forward. but and and ah And our grief is with us all the time. And I i like to say that we're we're holding on to those threads of hope because you want joy to find you again. um You want it to come in and and and and be happy. um And we would love to choose joy. we'd love to just say, hey, we're going to wake up and be joyful today. um she had one friend on one of her young friends on social media who was looking picture perfect on social media and was like, choose a joy
00:17:47
Speaker
Kellen was like. I would like to choose joy, but, you know, I can't choose joy right now. um You know, it' it it wasn't in her aura at that poem at that moment. But, yeah, there were a few bleeps in there, too. She added to it. It was choose bleeping joy. em Exactly. and um so, but you know what? we We would like to choose joy. And I think that's it. Most people want to choose it if they can, but sometimes they need guidance to get there. And
00:18:18
Speaker
they and sometimes and And I do believe creativity often takes them to those simple joys. And you start there and then they grow and then they grow again. and what I have found by choosing the joys that I have, whether they be photography or antiques, is that they've led me to people that would have led me to connections and friendships and Laurie, I think about you and i there In what world are are we friends all through these crazy connections for the past 10 years because 10 years ago I decided to pick up the camera again?
00:18:54
Speaker
Yeah. and And we ended up meeting through the experience that is now a closed door. But, you know, the minute we met, we were able to meet in person. We had been having phone calls with a group of women for months. And then when we met in person, Jamie and I just clicked. Yeah. I don't know, lots of reasons. And, you know, that door closed, but that did give us both a gift of the women that we were having conversations with. And we just reconnected recently with them on a Zoom call.
00:19:28
Speaker
And it's, you know, there's, that's actually something that I really suggest people to do, do beyond Going after what lights you up creatively is find your support people.
00:19:42
Speaker
Find your those people that you can lean on and talk to and go to lunch with or have Zoom calls with because.
00:19:54
Speaker
You know, it was really wonderful on that call how everybody was very vulnerable with how they were feeling, what they were dealing with, the changes they're going through, yeah the support that everyone kind of jumped in and said, have you thought of this or could you try that? And i think that's another thing that I would really, really help people search for.
00:20:17
Speaker
Yeah, you know, there's and i I want to kind of I want to get to something that I love that you talk about, which is the messy middle. and And I'm going to I want you to talk about it from an art perspective. But I think I'm going to tie that into what you just said. and that as you're going through this journey, we sort of start stuff, whatever it may be.
00:20:39
Speaker
But there's always a messy middle where we're not sure, should we go forward? Should we go backward? um Not do it at all. It doesn't feel right. It doesn't look right. And that's where you lean on your friends. And it's amazing because we don't always have all the tools in our tool belt.
00:20:55
Speaker
But when you find, just by letting it out there, just by opening yourself up to others, which we have found with this lovely small group, they're like, oh, try this, do this. And we were getting all these texts. I'm like, oh, I never knew that. and and But just by our opening ourselves up, even though we were in the our own messy middle of whatever project we were working on, they were helping us to see the end. And so I think you're right. I think that those connections, those real life connections are just the best and they really support you when you need it most.

Retreats and Lasting Connections

00:21:33
Speaker
you really do Yeah, it's always it's always served me in. The thing that's really serving me these days are the retreats that I'm going on because the women that, and some men, but mostly women that come with me on my retreats, they they just share so much with one another and it's so loving. And like I have so many text threads now that From yeah these retreats, because yeah they connect with one another, and they don't want to stop that connection. So these, these communities go on beyond the retreats. And so that's, that's part of my Rebloom journey is.
00:22:19
Speaker
continuing to do more of that because it just, it really fills me up. I love it. And I'm doing my first retreat this year in England. Yes, and it's sold out. it's sold out. um And you know, the funny part about that. So here's the great story about that too. Instagram friend. um This is my friend, Jan Ford. She's Jan L. Ford.
00:22:41
Speaker
on Instagram. And we have been friends since the beginning. Yeah, I mean, like way, way back. We were probably one of each other's first friends. We didn't know what we were doing. She sort of, I always say she's the British version of me. um Just two lovely ladies who love flowers and taking pictures of flowers. But we were able to meet in 2019 in person. And it was as if I was meeting an old friend. It was just delightful. And she reached out, she's done this retreat. um in in England before, and she asked if I would want to do it with her. And of course I was like, yes, oh my gosh, yes.
00:23:18
Speaker
And a couple other people, are there's six or seven people coming from the States, ah folks that I've met at an NYBG, ah ah ah other friends that I've had on Instagram. So it's just to your point, I'm friends with people. i went to a retreat 10, 11 years ago called Shutter Sisters out in California. I'm still friends with some of the people that I went to on that retreat with. yeah It's not just the two or three days, but they can be life changing. Yes. Yes. Yeah. And I just think it helps to give you, and that's what we hope with this podcast. We want to give everybody the spark. You maybe can't go to a retreat, but listening to a lot of these stories, we hear about the messy middle. We hear about, well, I had to go back and do this, or I got divorced, or I had, you know, this didn't work. And, and, and they pivoted, but they kept going.
00:24:16
Speaker
They kept going. I've had so many friends who have lost their jobs for one reason or another. yeah And they ended up really like becoming more themselves because of that. You know, they were terrified at first, but then they like regrouped and did something that was far more meant for them. Yeah. Yeah.
00:24:39
Speaker
And, you know, it's interesting, I would say, we didn't have a messy middle, we had a messy beginning because were so scared of doing this. But, you know, I think if you believe in something in your heart, and you just keep going, and you just keep trying, and Lori and I were redoing our commercials before we got on this podcast, to it was not hard. it was But the first time we did them,
00:25:03
Speaker
No, we were both terrified. Terrified. Terrified. So if you want listen to something funny, we haven't even gone back. I think I'd almost cry if I had to listen. I know. I know. We still had bloopers today, but I think...
00:25:16
Speaker
We're not afraid of the bloopers anymore, even because we've had tech issues so many times that we just kind of laugh about it now. When we were interviewing Todd Oldham, he's one of my design heroes. And we had so many things happening, bells going off, and he just chuckled and went with it. Yeah.
00:25:36
Speaker
He did. And then we had just one recently and they they froze and we kept going and Lori froze and Lori was gone. and you know, that's life. That is life. And we just kind of live with it. and And we just kind of make it. When you talk about the messy middle though, and I love this, I love your description because when people see your artwork, they see this beautiful finished piece typically. That's typically what you're showing us.
00:26:03
Speaker
But it's not It's not A to Z, is it? It's not straight. There's not a straight line. Speaking of tech issues, my mic just fell over.
00:26:15
Speaker
It's never a straight line, and it's it's always a journey. And even before the first part, when you just start, there's that little fear and trepidation of what's

Navigating Life's Messy Middle

00:26:27
Speaker
it going to look like? What am I going to make? How's it going to turn out? And then you finally like plunge in.
00:26:32
Speaker
And you're working along and first you're like, oh, this is really cool. I'm really liking this. And then you get to a point you're like, this is awful. It sucks. What am I doing? And at that point, the best thing to do is to walk away. Right. Give it some thought. Yeah. Come back to it. And then when you come back, you're like, oh, i kind of like this part. I think I'll build on that. Yeah. Then you just keep refining it. Another artist that I follow, um she talks about it in like phases where when you first start something, you're like in child, in in the child mode where you're just throwing stuff on there, not making sense, just playing. and then you move to the teenage part where you you recognize those things that are starting to work. And you kind of play on those. And then you go to the adult phase where you're refining yeah and really making those things that you love kind of really shine. And I think that's ah that's a great metaphor for how life is.
00:27:35
Speaker
i i love that. And, you know, it's funny as you're saying that, I'm thinking of my flowers and how they cooperate and how I typically approach them. And so when I have a bouquet of flowers that I'm photographing, to your point, I kind of just, I let the flowers speak to me. I'm like, hmm.
00:27:51
Speaker
where should they go? and you know, put them in this face and have fun. I just kind of let it be the child part of it. Then there's often that messy middle. I'm going to call those, always call it the bad child or the teenager, the teenage years where the flowers are going wonky one way and wonky another way and nothing's working. And, and I'm just annoyed and yes, flowers can be annoying and cause they're not doing what I want. Because I tend to move them around a lot. And then ah to your point, I walk away.
00:28:22
Speaker
I'll take some photos. I'll maybe look at them. I'll kind of look on my computer and think, hm what's working, what's not working, but I take a step back. And then I go back and then it's the fine tuning. Then the adult comes in, the temper tantrum is not happening. Right, right. And stuff over. And because I don't care what medium you do there i think there's always a little bit of a messy middle, but sometimes the messy middle gives you something really incredible.
00:28:52
Speaker
Well, I think that's what we've heard time and time again on this podcast. Yeah. is you know People have have ventured through that messy middle. And I think the the thing to recognize, though, is when you're in it, don't give up.
00:29:08
Speaker
Right. um Yes, maybe take a pause. Yes, maybe regroup, maybe do some brainstorming or thinking or journaling about where you want to head. But don't give up. Yeah.
00:29:21
Speaker
There is always something positive on the on the other side. And that's what I'm hoping for in the world right now. We're in quite a

Hope in Creativity and Community

00:29:30
Speaker
messy middle. We are in quite a messy middle. And um yeah, and I think we're looking for those threads of hope, all of us, and to hold on to that we know are grounded in goodness and truth and beauty. And I think that's what art does for me. and I know that that's what it does for many others, a whatever art form.
00:29:58
Speaker
you love. Right. And gosh, I hope, yeah, and if any if any time at all, now's the time to lean into your art because yeah we we need to be creating things not only for our own heart, but also sharing our joy for others and making the world a little bit lighter for other people if if it's if it's needed. Yeah. um Because I think mental health is something that certainly i believe very much that everybody...
00:30:26
Speaker
There are so many people that are out there who are really hurting and need help. And if they can find their way forward by anything, by a friend, by a helping hand, by something beautiful that they see, that's a step forward.
00:30:41
Speaker
And that's that's a win. That's a win. um Yeah, it's been an incredible... i mean, we look back...
00:30:52
Speaker
And we did almost, we did about 20 interviews last year. We're hoping to do another 20, 20 this season. yeah And we've got more incredible guests lined up that we're super excited to bring to you. In fact, we have a very big list and we're trying to narrow it down and bring folks in and, and,
00:31:13
Speaker
I text Jamie a name like every other day. Let's add her to the list or him to the list. Because I meet a lot of people too on my retreats that I hear their stories and I'm like, oh my gosh, you would be a perfect guest on the podcast. Yeah. Yeah, and anybody who's listening to this now, if you've got somebody or you know somebody, mean, yes, we have some folks with some big um big social media following and jobs and things, but there's some just great folks out there that you may know that have had a really, really cool pivot today. that we would love to tell their story. So direct message us, let us know who they are and you know, have a conversation with us because I think a lot of people have those stories.
00:31:56
Speaker
And one of the things that was very important to both Lori and myself is that the folks that we selected and we asked to be on here, you could hear in their story yourself. You could hear your own story and you didn't feel that they were so out of reach. Many people say to Lori,
00:32:14
Speaker
I could never, I could never drop. Well, I say that to you. I could never drop. And what do I say back? Yes, you can. Yes, I will teach you. Yes. And that's just it. We all can be artists. We all can be, well, I don't think I can be a singer. I don't think I'm going to tell Denise that I'm going to. I think that ship may have sailed, but we can all do it. And it's just finding your way, finding your way to whatever you want to do.
00:32:41
Speaker
And yeah, that's pretty exciting. So we've got a huge, a huge season ahead, huge year, huge season. um Some more retreats. Lori's doing a bunch of retreats. Yes, I am. Like pretty much one every month. Yeah. And we're doing the Rebloom conference again, or gathering of women in May.
00:33:02
Speaker
May. May 4th to the 7th, which Jane was a speaker at last year and will be a speaker this time. And we have a lot of the same speakers um because we loved them so much. But we're really directing this year towards...
00:33:18
Speaker
um All of them sharing things that are actionable and really concrete things that people can apply to their lives that will be very helpful and beneficial to them.
00:33:33
Speaker
ah One thing that I took away from last year, and and while the retreat is not necessarily connected to this podcast, but they are in a way in that I sensed all these women that came together last year,
00:33:49
Speaker
really feeling that rebloom. They really felt ah because, and and they all came together and they all had many creatives. Wasn't a creative necessarily retreat, but people had businesses and different things. And they they got that that spark that they needed. They got that encouragement that they needed. They had that connection. They met new people.

Rebloom Conference Highlights

00:34:09
Speaker
They heard new stories. It was smiling from day one to the end.
00:34:15
Speaker
And big hugs and love and one of those few days that changes your whole trajectory. Yeah. and I've heard some really lovely success stories from ah women who have made changes in their lives because of Rebloom, you know, created a whole new web website or started to do retreats on their own. Or, you know, I think just listening to other people's stories and getting encouragement and support.
00:34:45
Speaker
They went off all charged up, and we hope to repeat that this year. We sure do. And then other friendships that happened because of Lori. She introduced me to Caroline Simas and to Kara Fox.
00:34:59
Speaker
And the four of us are going to be in Chautauqua, New York, at Chautauqua Institution this summer teaching. Yay! Which we got to go last year, and it's like it's like being on a Hallmark movie set. This this place...
00:35:14
Speaker
blew me away. it was so charming. And so, yeah, we put our heads together and said, let's all teach there. So details to come on that.
00:35:25
Speaker
Details to come. That's going to happen in July. And Lori's doing retreats this year. And, you know, for me, I'm back teaching at the university, which has been a gift. I love being with the students. That's always a joy. And just finding those those micro steps forward. That's kind of what I, what I call them, I guess, because I just, I need them. I need to do the things that center my heart. And i hope that that's what we're in turn providing with people, providing by sharing these amazing stories of people.
00:36:02
Speaker
Yep. It's going to be a fun year. It's going to be a fun year. Well, my friend, are we ready to kick off season three?

Season Three Excitement

00:36:10
Speaker
Yes, we are. We have some, like we said, we try to mix it up. We try to get a mix of men and women. Yeah. Because there are lots of men that are pivoting as well. So...
00:36:21
Speaker
Send us your ideas. We'd love to hear from you. We'd love to hear from you. And we hope that you will enjoy every bit of our season three. So to our wonderful listeners, peace, love, and read blue.
00:36:36
Speaker
Thanks for spending this time with us on Rebloom. We hope something from today stays with you. Maybe a thought, a feeling, or a spark of inspiration.
00:36:47
Speaker
And if this conversation resonated, we really hope you'll share it with a friend. We sure are grateful you're here and we'll see you next time.
