Speaker: Do you feel drawn to learn more about witchcraft and the occult, but feel lost on where to start? Then welcome to Get In Loser, Where Doing Witchcraft, a podcast all about what it means to be a witch and where to get started on your journey.

Speaker: Join us as we navigate through various witchy topics and share what we've learned about the craft. So get in, witches, as we sit down with the amazing Kimmy Haliverda to discuss nature, magic, and intuition.

Speaker: Today, we're so excited to welcome our special guest, Kimmy Halaburda. Kimmy is a psychic intuitive medium, animal communicator, energy healer, practitioner, and educator. She specializes in everything from mediaship and Akashic records to Reiki, past life readings, and animal communication.

Speaker: Today, Kimmy is joining us to discuss nature magic and intuition. So Kimmy, thank you so much for joining us. we are really excited to have you here. And to kick off the episode, would you mind telling our listeners a little bit about yourself and what led you to the work you do today? Sure. So what led me to the work that I do today is um I had, like i had, I came into this life with a lot of remembrance. And what that meant was that I would pursue like traditional things like, you know, a job.

Speaker: right? And I would never find myself satisfied with really anything that I did. and and I've been in animal rescue for a long time. I started that when I was about 18 years old. And that was really the only place that I found true fulfillment.

Speaker: And then also being a parent, but you can't just be a parent, you have to hold on to an identity that is also you. That is aside from being ah a mom, right? I had my kids very young and And so that was a struggle. so I had them at 18 and 20. But I kind of I learned so much about myself being in rescue. And I also felt like every job that I worked was really a dead end, which led me to go back to school. And then I had i had an experience at the University of Tennessee, where I got earned two bachelor's degrees. And one of those was in philosophy. And it was so funny, because I would read things about like,

Speaker: Stoicism or like the logos as far as the universe and how the universe is like this concept of the universe being like a living, breathing organism, like, like everything is connected, like truly connected, like it is its own entity.

Speaker: And that really led into me finding the synchronicity between like what I'd actually read about, like what other people had also come to the conclusion of about the universe. And then the way I saw the world and the way I saw the universe, because I was always weird. You know, I was always one of those girls. I'd be going out in the woods when I was like 10 years old by myself and sitting on rocks and talking to squirrels and shit. Like I was that girl, right? Like I'm out there bringing my little crystals and stuff and sitting around making little crystal grids. i didn't know what I was doing.

Speaker: Right. it was so funny because when I was like five, I'd make pop it dolls of people that I knew and I would take care of them. And if they were like, if the person was sick, like I would like had a grandma who was often ill. So I would take extra special care of her pop it doll. And I, and then then I realized.

Speaker: So I was like, in my 20s, I was like, that's witchcraft. But I'm just, I learned that through that, I could serve the person. I think that I just kind of fell back into the person that I always am or really my soul's purpose as far as as far as what I really do for a living now.

Speaker: and And I monetized my business about five years ago. because I kind of, I was inspired, but also kind of bullied into it by a friend who was an amazing psychic in Knoxville. And and she was like, Kimmy, you know, this is what you're supposed to do. This is what you're supposed to do. Like, girl, you going to do it? This is what you're supposed to do. And I'm like, okay, then. I struggled for a really long time monetizing readings, like monetizing my gifts. And and she was like, you know, artists charge people money for their art.

Speaker: Like athletes get paid for their talent. what's the problem that you do in that too? Like, that's just you staying in a poverty frequency to not allow that to come in. So so I think I just kind of had to i had to do the thing.

Speaker: just fell back into it. and i And I do this in all kinds of lifetimes. And i'm I probably get weirder, I would assume, as each lifetime kind of, because the world gets weirder. Yeah, that is very interesting, though, too. Like, especially... having like coming into this world and kind of having this knowledge, but not really understanding at a young age, like where this is coming from or having that background, but just doing things and not even realizing until you're an adult that actually what you're doing is, that oh, this makes sense. This is witchcraft. I didn't realize I just was being a kid and doing things that like intuitively I just already knew. And I think that is, that is super interesting. Yeah.

Speaker: I would straight up go outside and and talk to, like, I would literally, and I'm not exaggerating, like, I would go talk to squirrels or chipmunks or crows or whatever it was around if I had a bad day at school. And I would just tell them all about it, right? Or I would tell my dog all about it. But but I often like to tell...

Speaker: I guess in my head, it was like therapy. I would but just tell these creatures that didn't know me. And I felt like, ah well, if i tell them, then they can just carry it with them and make it go away and I'll feel better. And yeah so there were all these things I was doing that was um i just totally in tune with nature without me realizing it. I just thought I was weird.

Speaker: i mean, i I think we all kind of fell into that category as we were younger. I swear every year I just get weirder and weirder. So... It's an important thing to continue to get weirder. Yeah. ah Yeah.

Speaker: For sure. I agree. So I guess with that, like, when did you really start, you know, you realize that the things that you were doing were witchcraft. When did you really start, like, practicing, like, nature magic or, like, really leaning into your intuition once you realized what it was and using it?

Speaker: So it was kind of two separate things. So what's interesting is like, I don't have a memory of this lifetime of not being able to to connect with people who've passed. So like, I've always been a medium. I mean, like my youngest memories, and and it's kind of weird to say that, but like my youngest memories were of of me being able to to talk to people who had already passed. Like we lived in a very haunted area in Ohio, because I lived in Ohio just till I was about five and a half, six And then moved to Tennessee.

Speaker: and i And I had lots of experiences there. We lived near train tracks. and There were some ghosts near the train tracks. And there's kind of a whole story about that. But but um but in a nutshell, like i I'd always been able to talk to people who'd passed. I didn't find out until maybe I was eight or nine years old or something like that, that that was weird.

Speaker: Like that was not something that other kids did. I also was able to talk to like our family dog. So I was not aware that other people didn't do that.

Speaker: Right. Like have full on conversations. And so that was really odd for me growing up and people made fun of me and it was terrible, but whatever, that that's fine. Cause like also kids are kind of mean, right? Like kids are mean.

Speaker: Yeah, but you know anyway, so so as i like as I got older, so so that was a whole separate thing. So i already knew like I could talk to people who've who've passed. I think I picked up my first deck of tarot cards when I was like 11 or 12. I was not consistently practicing then. I mean, I just picked them up and played with them a few times, right? I didn't consistently start using those. So I was probably in my early 20s and I don't even use them anymore, but but I did for quite a while. I will every now and again, i' i'll I'll pull them out. And, but but just not often.

Speaker: So I've kind of gone through these different stages as all of us go through different stages, right? It's like, it's funny because you just, you discover new things and you want to learn everything you can about candle magic. And then you want to learn everything you can about fire ceremony. And then you want to learn everything you can about like Tarot, right? Like there's all these different things.

Speaker: And so for me, I didn't start, I want to say being cognizant of like practicing witchcraft till I was probably about 23, right? maybe 22, something like that. So I was pretty young. And, and the first work that I ever did was, was on money to help me through school.

Speaker: So, so that was kind of like the, the first sort of candle magic that I did. And then it was a matter of seeing, oh, this really works. Like, yeah okay, so that's cool. And I didn't make the connection. I feel kind of silly for it now, but like, I didn't make the connection between everything kind of being as one, right? And then the things that I'd already been doing, like the mediumship and animal communication and whatnot, until I would say probably like whenever I was talking about taking philosophy courses and and coming upon the the idea of like logos and how...

Speaker: Everything truly is can connected. Somebody who, if somebody with a PhD in philosophy heard that, they would say, that's not what it says. it like It's about um ol how the universe is one living, breathing organism. But like to me, that that says connection, right? And we're just a part of that. So early 20s for candle magic, where I actually intentionally was doing candle magic, but i did not realize it was all kind of the same thing for quite a while.

Speaker: Yeah. yeah and it feels like to so once you started like just your entire life like everything has just evolved over time and like in your your work when you're looking at the work that you do now and your practice now has the evolution been pretty smooth or was it, was there a lot of learning curves along the way? Like how has your work evolved over time?

Speaker: Well, ah my work has really evolved into just combining, like understanding that kind of synthesizing everything. So like truly understanding that when you go outside and you talk to the crows and you say, Hey, I had a really bad day. I want to send this away that that's moving energy. That's energy work, right? Like that, like that is, that definitely could be considered witchcraft, but it, but it's energy work regardless. Um,

Speaker: And your baseline of of candle magic is energy manipulation, right? Like that's all it is. It's just energy movement, energy manipulation. And so I would say that my work just got weirder and more expansive. So I started doing like fire ceremony stuff. I started scripting a lot of things instead of just doing like petitions. I would script and and then incorporate that into fire ceremony. Gratitude.

Speaker: journaling is is a big deal that I don't do enough by any means. but But that's really super important, especially for like abundance work. I know you had Rachel Patterson on a while back and she talks about abundance work and she's written like, I think approximately 5000 books.

Speaker: I was going to say, there's at least a hundred. There's so many. And there's that gratitude as well. So while I don't sit in like gratitude journal, I do, like she even said it was so funny because I was thinking, well, I like to feed my birds. Like I would do things like that. And then she immediately in the podcast says, Well, like I'll out in the garden and feed my birds. Like it's about giving back. And I was like, yeah, like that is, know, so I think it's, I've just kind of synthesized all the things that I did before. And I really now understand that when you take care of nature, you can rely on the universe to take care of you, right? You can rely on the powers that be, including your higher self to take care of you in this realm and on this earth. Yeah. So, but also I've just become very chaotic in whatever it is that I'm doing. So like there are times when don't have time to sit and meditate and put intention in. I have approximately 15 minutes to start a candle. Then I have something else have to do. you know, like I have work app to get to or emails to get to or whatever. And I'll say, okay, and I will literally say out loud, I don't have the time right now, but my intention is, you know, ABC and I'll write my petition and I'm just like, fuck it, let it work, whatever. Like it's fine. It'll work out fine. And then it always does, but it's just a matter of saying, I believe in myself enough to say, this is my intention. It's going to happen. I have other things I got to do. I'm So I think that it's not out of a place of being impatient. It's more of, I think as life gets busier and as I want to continue my ritualistic things that make me feel grounded, right? Whether it's candle work or whether it's like actually sitting and grounding or whatever, have to do like a sped up version of that.

Speaker: Yeah. I honestly love that because we we try to kind of put that out there for our listeners too, that like you're not always going to have everything that you need or everything that you want, but nature is going to give you what you you need. You're not always going to have all the time in the world to do this whole long drawn out ritual, but as long as your intention's there. I love that you said that.

Speaker: I just think it's an important way of of honoring that our lives are very busy. Like this is 2026. Our lives are very, very busy. And we have a constant, I also feel like there's a, it's almost like a constant type of of trigger, like a trauma in a way that we are so expected to be connected with each other all the time, 24 seven. and I just am not a person who can do that.

Speaker: where i I just have to shut my phone off sometimes. Like I just cannot, like I need to, i need to shut my phone off and maybe I go sit outside for 30 minutes. don't have to take half the day, but I just need to get away for a minute just to kind of reset it. And and I don't know about,

Speaker: either of you, but like, do you have times when you feel the only way you can reset is to completely detach and just go off into your own world? I mean, fully, like you cannot talk to anybody. You just got to do your thing and you come back in, right? you can kind of reset and then you find yourself not really caring as much about the stress that, that is right. Yeah. you focus more on on your own needs. Yeah.

Speaker: I'm particularly horrible at like feeding myself, but I found that if I make sure to take time, even if it's a 20 minute out, like walk out in nature, I will remember, oh, this is like, this is me getting back into my body. Like I haven't eaten today.

Speaker: i need to go eat something. Sometimes like I have to be out in nature to remember my basic stuff, which is like not healthy, by the way. Like that's not, I'm pretty sure that's some type of disorder eating. It's not good, but it it's not okay. Yeah.

Speaker: But I will get so caught up in work. It's like, you know, clients, clients, clients. And then I'm like, did i I eat breakfast? No, I didn't. Well, that's probably why i feel so bad. And I think that with a lot of people, especially those working more than one job or, you know, people with kids, like it's really important just to take the time and you don't have to be this incredible expert at like what omens, you know, look like or what they mean or what certain animals represent or or whatever, but it's just going out really trusting your own intuition when you're out in nature that when you receive a message, one, believe it's a message Not everything is a message. Not everything is a symbol. But like, usually they make themselves pretty obvious, right?

Speaker: And just intuitively feeling what it is. And not second guessing yourself is like the most powerful tool I think anybody can have in their toolbox. Yeah, I agree. Additionally, whenever you are looking at, I'm jumping around, Tiffany, I'm just like you know. I do this a lot. Okay. But since you were talking about signs and intuition and understanding the difference between the two, for our listeners that might not be in that place where say they feel like they can trust their intuition, or i see this a lot whenever I am online, like researching and stuff too, or even just coming across videos on TikTok where people are trying to decipher between intuition or just a fear that they have? What advice would you give to our listeners about being able to distinguish between the two?

Speaker: That's such a great question. And I also want to say this kind of, like, I want to preface it with this. So I've had the experience of always having that intuition that I've really never had to doubt, right? Not everybody has had that. Not that I haven't doubted myself before, but, and I and i say that as like, I believe everybody's truly psychic, like truly psychic. I believe that everybody has access. I think that some people have maybe more gifts in certain areas than others, like maybe mediumship or animal communication or something like that. Maybe some people are better at moving energy than they are the psychic stuff, but it's still all intuition, right? And so so and sometimes I feel a little pretentious when I say, well, i don't really remember a time when I wasn't that way, but that is the truth. But I say that in a sense of, I'm well aware that I haven't exactly had that struggle entirely, but

Speaker: But what I have had is, is when you get like kind of obsessive thoughts, and they feel like to me to determine if it's intuition, which again, I just I really, really trust my intuition. But but sometimes I'll get really compulsive about things. And I'll get like the impulsive thoughts. And then that'll put me into a place of fear. And then you manifest what you fear. and then you're like, oh, no, I can't. I can't be in fear because then I'll manifest it. That doesn't help.

Speaker: Kind of puts you to into like a a vicious cycle. Right. It's a loop that's hard to get out of. But for me, i can kind of determine genuinely. I like I will sit and I'll put my hands on my chest and I will just ask my higher self, like I'll try to calm and do some grounding. Right. A little bit of grounding. and And I will ask, is this real?

Speaker: Is this real information? Is this really, truly information that I need? And if I don't feel it come from my heart space and I feel it come from up here, then it's not real.

Speaker: It's one of those, like, if you feel it in your chest, you know it's true. i think that is amazing advice too, because it's sometimes as a parent, I struggle with sometimes the intuition and fear-based stuff when it comes to my kids where I'm just like, is this my intuition telling me something or is this anxiety? like And it's just anxiety, fear thing that I have as a parent. or is this And it's usually the other. like Anytime I'm stressed out about something, it's usually not because of like a gut feeling and an intuition that I have. It's because my head is going to all of the things that could possibly happen. And it's like, why are you moving over there? and so-

Speaker: I love that. I'm going to start in incorporating that into my own life practices for mundane and magical stuff, because sometimes it's really hard to decipher between the two. Absolutely. And also with that, another, ah so so if somebody says, well, I don't know how to determine if it's coming from my heart space, right? Because I've heard that before, because I teach several different classes and I don't remember what class it was. It was probably, I have a ah class called Love Magic and like,

Speaker: It's a two hour class, but the first hour 15 is about self-love, right? Like it's mostly about self-love and then we get into the spicy stuff. But, and so I'm pretty certain it was that class, but I had somebody ask me about the heart space and knowing if it really comes from your heart space because they were just very unsure of themselves. And this person's like a worrier. And and I understand that because I can also be very much a worrier, even if there's no like real rational thing.

Speaker: reason for that, because worrying like that is not logical. So it doesn't come from a place of logic, right? It from a place of fear. And so another thing that you could do, or any listener could do if they don't feel like they can really connect with their body or like in their heart space, even after grounding is, does the voice and in your head sound familiar? Is it a calm, comforting voice? Like, is it something that feels very familiar that you know?

Speaker: Because if it's not, then it's probably not your higher self. And it's probably not one of your guides, right? It's probably not your higher self. It is probably one of those like little fear monsters. Like you get a little fear monster sometimes. Yeah. um And it is kind of like the little devil on your shoulder. And it's like, man, you're not doing good enough, man. Like it's not, it doesn't help. and Or like, man, your kid's going get sick and then you're not going to get to go on vacation. And you know what? Sometimes, sometimes it's actually you seeing another timeline of potential.

Speaker: But what I like to say is if I can't determine, I'll say, you know, I just simply don't accept that timeline. I just don't accept it because then I get out of a place of fear. And if I'm out of the place of fear, if I'm not manifesting it. Oh, my gosh.

Speaker: love that. I think all of what you just said kind of plays into the next question that's on the list. So is there any other guidance or advice that you would give to any of our listeners on ways that they could strengthen their intuition?

Speaker: I think that, so for whatever reason, I think it's really important for me right now to talk about feeling safe in your own body and and strengthening that intuition as far, and it strengthens your intuition in general. So this will answer the the question, but for whatever reason, i don't know if it's because you have like a whole subset of your listeners that's like just really going through it with their body right now, but but that's the message that I get in how to answer this question. So it's really important to get into your physical body you can't stay out of your body whether you're in a place of fear that will send you out right like that can really disembody you really fast it can unground you really really fast so getting into your body literally go back to basic shit like i was talking about earlier i will go outside for a few minutes and i'll be like huh

Speaker: I didn't eat today. That's probably why want to kill people right now. It's um it's it's probably I just can't tolerate mouth sounds. like It's probably I just I just can't do Get back into your body, right? Get back into your body.

Speaker: I think that that's really, really important. If you start from a place of grounding, you can do grounding exercises every day, but honestly, nobody's going to do this every day. I don't do this every day. I do it most days, but I don't do it every day. And you can, when you get up and you put your feet on on, the floor, you don't have to go outside barefoot. That's great if you can, but like, I'm not going to do that because I don't like to walk barefoot because I think it's icky and I'm kind of germaphobe. So, but, but like just saying, but, but lots of people love to do that. And that's a great way to ground. But for me, I wake up and I'll put my feet on, you know, my carpeted floor. And I will, and I will say that today, today, the universe is going to show me how good it can get. or something along those lines. Or I'll say, today, i have extra protection on me. Today, i will stay out of fear.

Speaker: Whatever it is that that feels right to you. And then all I do a visualization of myself as a tree. I know that's a very common visualization for grounding, where you imagine your feet going into the earth as big roots, right? And then you can take your arms as big branches. And I like to span them all the way out um up into the stars. And I like to make my roots touch the core of the earth. And then I pull myself back into like Kimmy size tree.

Speaker: And then I do my Glinda the Good Witch bubble, right? My protection bubble. And I say the only good things can come to me today that I just don't accept. Bad attitudes are bad things.

Speaker: Like I just do not accept it. And then I go about my day. You can do a protection bubble of like a hamster ball. I have a friend who loves the hamster ball visualization because she's fun, right? Like she's silly. She likes to make everything silly. She can't make a playful. She don't want to it. Sometimes I'll imagine myself in a giant rose quartz, just, you know, just something. And i think that's really important to get back into your body. And that also helps cancel out some of that noise that prevents you from really paying attention to your own and own intuition. But if you start feeling like you're really outside of your body, or you start feeling like frazzled would be a good good way to put it. and You start feeling frazzled, eat food or drink water or do something that makes you physically get back into your body. Do like, like, you know,

Speaker: some type of like you can, you can stimulate like your sympathetic nervous system by like literally rubbing your arms and rubbing your legs, like something that just gets you back into your body and then ask the questions that you need to ask. But as far as going out, like if you're going to go out in in nature and you really want to learn more about signs and signals in nature and how to trust your own intuition. I highly recommend a book called Nature Speak by Ted Andrews.

Speaker: i mean, he talks about everything from like the wind blowing to like how trees move to like, like it's it's just incredible. He also has a book that's kind of like the Holy Grail of animal communication. I'm sure you've both heard of it, but it's animal speak. And yeah,

Speaker: And he has Animal Wise as well, which is kind of a companion to animal speak. But nature speak and animal speak are amazing. But again, Ted Andrews, i highly recommend both of those books for anyone who wants to to get more in touch with um nature in a very intuitive way. Because it's so easy to overthink everything. It's so easy to overthink it.

Speaker: You don't have to overthink it. Yeah. think that's probably everyone's biggest problem sometimes is that we're just constantly overthinking everything we're trying to do. And then it takes us out of it. Yeah.

Speaker: And also, like I want to say to that is is how I mentioned earlier about just getting away from the phone. Check yourself and see how much time you're spending on social media as well. Right. And, and you know, I'm not an astrologer by any any means. But what I do know is that people who have mostly...

Speaker: Earth signs, like in like their six major placements, it's important for them to go outside. It's important for people with a lot of water placements to go be in the water.

Speaker: If you have a lot of water placements and you're terrified of the water, I would say that that that's a um that would be a great opportunity to do a lot of healing, like emotional healing.

Speaker: is what that would tell me if somebody has a pretty big fear of the water is that there's a lot of emotional healing that that needs to take place. And sometimes for for people with like major air placements, it can be like clearing your house, like, well, everybody needs to clear their house. But sometimes it's lighting more incense or lighting more candles or whichever way you want to cleanse your house. But like having open, honest communication to right setting good boundaries. A lot of air signs have problems setting really good boundaries and and fire people do fire ceremony, do candles, cook food like really intentionally because that's how we bring the fire element into our home every day, right? Is through the cooking of of food. And so there's so many different ways that you can use nature and use the elements to tap into your own intuition. And it really is about, and I, again, I know that Rachel Patterson mentioned this as well, but there's magic in the mundane, right? Like there's always magic. I will go like, live in Knoxville, Tennessee. And so I have this just incredible, like there's such beauty, such natural beauty around me. And, and, uh,

Speaker: And I like to go to North Carolina and Brevard in particular because it's like the land of the waterfalls. There's like a hundred waterfalls in Brevard. But sometimes I'll take, cause it's not far away. It's like, yeah, it's amazing. It's like three hours from me. And sometimes I will go out there. This is like the most hippie shit I will ever say, but sometimes I'll go out there. Especially if I'm, happy if I've been having like a lot of migraines, I will go out and I will go find some of those waterfalls that are easy to access. Right. And I'll put my hands in the water And I'll talk to the water and ask it to take away my migraines.

Speaker: Like I will talk to the water and ask it to help me with a ah situation that I have going on that, that, that might be really upsetting me. I think you can use nature in so many ways. That's so healing, but you just kind of have to get out of the, like the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Right. In order to, I think really use nature And then, of course, like, like, there's a there's a give and a take, you know, so if you see litter on the way, pick it up.

Speaker: Like, there's always this give and take. And it's also and about gratitude. I think that is so interesting. I've never heard anybody talk about using like, as far as your own personal astrology and helping build your intuition that way. I feel like I really resonated with that. Really resonated with that. I like my sun sign is a fire sign, but I do have like in my big three, I have water, air and fire, but I have a lot of water placements and my rising is cancer. So like I just I really resonated with that because I have always had a fear of water. I almost drowned when I was a kid. And so I've always just like had this fear of water. And then i had a reading one time where the medium that was reading me, like she was able to connect, I think with the past life or something. And she's like, I feel like there was something very significant with you on a boat. And I feel like you could have drowned on like out on this boat or something.

Speaker: And I'm just like, okay. She's like, you need to do healing. related to specifically water and like your fear of it. And like, and I'm just like, wow. So the fact that you touched on that, I was like, this is a sign. Yeah. It's so interesting. I've never, I've never heard of that before. um But I know Tiffany, she has a lot of earth placements um and she spent a lot of time dyinging outside. I love being out in my yard and in my garden, my hands in the soil. i just love it. But like, as far as Sam, as far as your... like yeah, no, I think that medium is absolutely right. And I don't think it's... um I think you're a little boy, by the way, in that lifetime. But you...

Speaker: It's not just then, like it's been like a few lifetimes where you've had some tragedy with water. And so what's a really nice, relaxing thing that I don't know if you like to do this. I think you probably do, but some people hate baths. Some people love baths. Oh, I love baths.

Speaker: There you go. What if you just took a really intentional salt bath and when you're, you're, so you're sitting in the tub and you're draining your tub out and you stay you know, seated in it. Right. And you kind of feel the pressure of that, like pulling the the flowing of of the water going down the drain. And, and you say that you let go of anything from any past life that hurt you. Like you are healing on levels that you don't know that you need to be healed on. And you can say that you can say there's that healing comes to me in every way that it needs to. I'm being healed in every way that I need to to be healed or like I'm being healed from of my fear of water. I'm being healed from, from trauma, from past lives. Like you can go back and do timeline healing. This is still you and your soul. Like you can just jump timelines and do that. And then that affects you now.

Speaker: Right. And that affects you going forward and your forward trajectory, as far as your own healing journey, and also like how you connect with nature and how you connect with, with water. And it probably will come out in lots of other ways too, because Again, water, deeply, deeply intuitive, right?

Speaker: Maybe that opens up for you a new gift that you didn't even realize that you had. And you just clearly like needed to wash, quite literally needed to just wash it away. Like a past trauma. Oh, that opens up for me. And it might be something like, I think it would probably be something along the lines of medical intuition.

Speaker: in a way that maybe you didn't realize that you had. And, and it's just a matter of that keeps coming up today. It's so interesting, but, but anyway, but it's just a matter of, of washing it away. I like to, when I'm having a really bad time, I like to, to be in the water and to just do big cry, just lots, lots of big cry and, and wash it away. But then also if I'm not outside, I have a ton of earth placements, but I have my, my son's in Scorpio. So, you know, go figure. But, but I have to be outside too. I love hiking.

Speaker: Like i have to, and i hate bugs. i don't hate bugs. I like bugs from a distance. I'm not going kill a bug, but yeah, I don't like them on me. Right. I don't want that. Yeah. be But like, I want to be out in nature, like as often as I can be.

Speaker: but don't want to be sticky and I don't want to deal bugs, but I want to, I want to go on the hike. So it's like, you know, it's struggle, right? Like I could never go camping. I just couldn't, I'm just not that tough. I'm pretty wimpy. I just can't grow. I would, Tiffany, I would die if I were in your position. i would just, I would cease to exist so much stronger than I am to not handle that.

Speaker: I stayed out there in Germany. can build me a coffin. It's a special time. oh yeahp I completely agree with you there on camping specifically because you know in a hotel, we're camping in a hotel. Do we have an RV? Can we do that? Because I'm not sleeping in tent on the ground. I'm not doing that.

Speaker: I just can't. But on the plus side, you can you could probably connect to to the Bigfoot, though, on the plus side. i think about this sometimes. I'm like, if I ever went glamping, maybe I can meet a Bigfoot. But yeah I don't know. I think Bigfoot is also just a state of mind, though. but i love that. Yeah, I do love that, too. We can all be Bigfoot.

Speaker: We're all Bigfoot. It's fine. Yeah. yeah Outside – Bigfoot is a time lord. oh there you go. yeah go And that's why it's not just Washington.

Speaker: I was just listening to somebody on another podcast talk about there's like ah a Bigfoot in Kansas, I think, too, or Nebraska. and like – all over there's a bigfoot in europe there's there's bigfoots everywhere yeah so yeah yeah lord well i fully believe that they can jump jump all over the place from time to time and place to place like i don't know if it's through wormholes or what they're doing like they just must have special bigfoot technology but like i'm in east tennessee we all know about the bigfoot right like it is it is just like it's our whole personality is the bigfoot so yeah

Speaker: He's Time Lord. it It must be. Like, either that or there's just, like, he they have a huge family of Bigfoot that are just everywhere. But i I do think, though, if that was the case, then we would see more, like, physical evidence of, like, you know, Bigfoot bodies and stuff. Yeah, I think that Wormhole is probably more accurate.

Speaker: just I see it. I know we're like so into a different topic right now. but like i So I teach a class on mythical creatures. And I always tell people, like well, okay, with witchcraft, kind of Delulu is the Salulu, right? like I saw that on a reel. That's not original to me, but I saw that on a reel. And I was like, no, a girl, Delulu is the Salulu with witchcraft.

Speaker: It is. Because like anything's possible in my world. But like... i I don't know. i fully believe that I'm a unicorn, like entirely. And so, and so like, I really embody that.

Speaker: And so like, I feel that Bigfoot is just a mythical creature, like a unicorn or like a dragon. And it's all about finding that dragon energy. So when I put my hands, when I have the migraines, I obviously will be going through ah a state of migraine where I actually can get out of the house, right? Because like, it'll be for a few weeks at a time, and I'll go in and out, in and out.

Speaker: And when I'm kind of in ah like a, like little bit of a reprieve, that's when I'll go and kind of put my hands in the water. But like a lot of the time when I do that, there will be a dragon in in that water.

Speaker: And I'll talk to, like, I'll talk to that dragon, right? And the dragon will kind of tell me what it would like for me to do. Sometimes it's um just doing some energy work on the land. Sometimes it's drawing sigils for the land and then putting them in for protection. Sometimes it's energetically moving things out. It just kind of depends. Right.

Speaker: And so I think that Bigfoot is just the same. So I agree with you, you know, Bigfoot bodies, that would be like undeniable. Right. But i think it's more of, I think he's just a mythical creature that comes back and forth. Yeah. so that's what I think. Like, why not? Well, and I don't think that was super off topic because we are talking about nature.

Speaker: so it's fair girl that's so fair it's all connected right so real and you know you're with that too you can use i don't know I think you can you could use mythical creatures in your your spell work too just saying I think so i yeah I agree I think well with mythical creatures and then like with The cryptids, because i know where you live, like there's a lot of cryptid lore and everything. is outside of Bigfoot, do you have like a favorite cryptid in the area where you live?

Speaker: I don't. I don't have a favorite cryptid. I think they're fascinating, but I would never, like I would never call in a cryptid. And I honestly would probably not call in a Bigfoot. But I know I respect the Bigfoot and I think they're magical. But like Bigfoot has a very different vibe than like the Mothman, right? Like I ain't calling on them for nothing. And really, I don't really call on anything anyway, but I will show you this. I have these little unicorns that like I use in my witchcraft um all the time. yeah So, so I have, i have four of them. i only have three here on my desk, but here's the other one. That's like the little partner to that one. And then I have this little pink one and i love, know people listening can't see these, but I love using they're so cute unicorns. Well, like when you go back to anything is possible in my world, I like to use unicorn magic for healing, especially if it comes to like healing.

Speaker: Like if one of my dogs is sick, obviously you go to the vet, you do the practical things, right? I will put my unicorns around and kind of like do like a trifecta of them and then do three candles and and light them all for healing for like my dogs or foster dog or something like that. um I'll also do that for me for emotional healing. Like I will literally call upon unicorns to help me move something. So you can do anything, right? Like you can use witchcraft in all sorts of ways. So to answer your question about the cryptid, I don't necessarily have a favorite cryptid, but, but i and i feel like that might ostracize me a little bit being in Appalachia to not have a favorite cryptid.

Speaker: Just a little bit. Yeah. No, but I feel like even just your personality too. I mean, and I know our listeners can't see you, but like you're from your sweater to the painting in the background and your makeup and everything. It just, it's giving unicorn. It's beautiful. It is. like Yeah.

Speaker: Thank you. I love, I mean, they're fully like entirely just goth, like full goth. But well, I don't know. I'm kind of, okay. Yes, I'm very pink and i wear a lot of pink and i love pink. But have you heard that saying, like, I hope you heal enough to where you love pink again? Yeah. Because like, we're kind of conditioned that being a tomboy when you're a kid is the way to be, right? And to really hate your femininity. And I'm talking about like, you know, not people who are are trans, obviously. Like I'm talking about like girls who are, who don't have a question about like their own identity. Yeah. right but then you like boys are so mean to you and then it's it's very patriarchal and so I really leaned into like I'm very much in my my maybe like a very feral Elwoods but like very much in my Elwoods era um yeah would also show to class at UT like this like would just very pink but but also like i tell people that

Speaker: i Like, this is something I actually like really tell people. So, so goth isn't about how you dress though, really. It's about how many times you've listened to the album Disintegration by The Cure.

Speaker: Tell me that's not real. ah Yeah. I think you're right there. Right? Like, if you haven't sat, and just, like, if you don't, like, really, really know that album, like, okay, do you even call yourself God? I don't think you can. Yeah. Right.

Speaker: Yeah. It doesn't have to be Bauhaus. It doesn't have to be Bauhaus. It didn't, we don't have to go that far. It just, the cure disintegration is really, really important.

Speaker: So that's always in my heart, even though I dress like this. Yeah. No, I love that. Yeah. um Going a little bit back on topic, just a little bit. ah when So i know that you mentioned like connecting with like nature already for guidance and whatnot.

Speaker: When it comes to animal symbolism, how do animals show up as messengers? like Is it really just like interacting with your your animals that you own and that you're fostering or is it really just like seeing because I know like some people they'll see certain animals as like a symbol of a loved one and whatnot like how do animals show up to you as messengers Animals show up to me as messengers in all sorts of ways.

Speaker: I would say that my my animals give me messages, but not... I find that I get a lot more profound messages from animals that I don't know. So like whenever I'm out in nature, when I'm... For example, have you ever just went outside and you're like, there's like six deer in my backyard? And that when there's like a never deer in your backyard and they hang out there for a few minutes and you're like, huh, that's really odd.

Speaker: And then, you know, again, it's 2026. You can go on Google and you can look up the spiritual meaning of deer. Or what does it mean to see a deer in your dream? Even though it's not in your dream, it's still about like the subconscious and those messages, right?

Speaker: And so so I personally receive a lot of messages with hawks and with crows. I receive messages in lots of ways, but especially hawks and especially crows. I will see a hawk almost every single time I do some type of class or... When I have a big day seeing a lot of clients, often when I record a podcast, when I'm doing something that puts me in the direction that like I'm really supposed to be going, the hawks will show up and be but like, hey girl, good job. And I don't have a lot of hawks near my house. So when I see one, or it's not even my favorite is like if I'm driving and one swoops in front of my car, Or I had a Hawk, like it was like about a year ago, year and a half ago, that flew next to my car for like a good 10, 20 seconds. It flew right, and like I look, like it's right there, like right out my driver's side window, like flying next to my car. And I'm like, I hear you, I hear you, I understand. And it's sometimes when I when i have a question, when hi maybe I go into a place of not fully knowing if I want to pursue a particular thing or if I get a job opportunity something. or something, should I pursue it? And then I'll, if I see a bunch of animals that I don't typically see, or just so ah maybe a large number of common animals, right? Like I have crows all around my house, but when I see them very consistently and they show up very, very consistently, especially if it's like the same group over a few days, then I know there's something I need to pay attention to. And they will almost always show me what their movements, what that is. So for example, I have a 14 year old and when he was like 12, he was just absolutely having a bad day. He had gotten into an actual physical fight with someone at school. Like the other person started it and, uh, and he was just having a horrible day. And there was a crow that was like, that came near my car. Like it was on a light pole while I was at a red light. And that crow got up from that light pole and it went in like these big circles. Like it did like a big tornado in the air and then it flew off. And I was like, cool, great. I wonder what that's going to mean. And then that meant my child ended up having this really, really awful day. And whenever he got into this fight with his kid, he was running around trying to get away from him.

Speaker: So it's like, like sometimes they will show me what their movement, what it is. That's how it comes out for me specifically. But i will also see like turtles a lot if I'm going through a really, really hard time because it's taken the time to slow down. and like protect yourself. But it's funny because so we have a lot of snapping turtles and in East Tennessee. So I'll see the snapping turtles if need more protection and I'll see just like a box turtle or something like that.

Speaker: That's not a snapping turtle if I just need to slow down. So i interpret things in in different ways like that. I think that when you and it's always like the right in front, like on my path, like I will be on a walking trail and there will be one in the middle of the trail that you cannot avoid. Right.

Speaker: So I think even just going outside and asking the universe and saying, hey, I would really like to receive more messages from animals. Can you please make that happen? And just talk to the animals like as a collective and they will come and they will talk to you.

Speaker: Absolutely. And they will give you messages and signs. um It's just a matter of when you start seeing them, it's hard to not be like, well, is that just a coincidence? No, there are no coincidences. There are only synchronicities. So if you can believe it, then I think that also leads into, you know, like what you asked earlier, Tiffany, about like um how to trust your intuition more.

Speaker: Yeah, I love that. Do you ever talk to like the trees, like how some people say that, you know, they they give their problems to the trees and whatnot. Do you ever do anything like that? I do.

Speaker: Oh, yeah, I do. i And I don't give a shit if anybody's around me either. I just want to say that. Yeah. ah I will. Yeah. If there's a tree, sometimes I'll walk by a tree and a tree just wants to talk to me.

Speaker: And um or sometimes i will like if I'm having a bad, a bad time, like I'll go on a walk at a park and then I'll look over and I'll be like, I'm go talk to that tree. And I'll put my hand, I get all personal with that tree. And I'll put my hands on the tree and I'll tell the tree what's going on. And I'll kind of do like an energy transference, but then in return, like I will do some healing on the tree.

Speaker: Right. So like i kind of that's so interesting. like i'll say I'll say, this is what's going on with me. Can you please help me find an answer to this? Or i'm just really upset about this and I don't want to be this upset. Can you please help me like process my feelings? And I will literally like imagine my feelings as a big bundle that I don't need, like going through me energetically, like my energetic body and through my hands into the tree.

Speaker: And I'll, but I will also do things like I'll ask the tree if that's okay, and that sort of thing, but I'll kind of give it to the tree. But then in return, the tree kind of, this is such a fucking weird thing that I'm about to say. So the tree kind of transmutates that energy. And then what I do is I clear the energy overall. So I give it to the tree.

Speaker: I let the tree do its thing. And then I like clear the tree, but yes. Can you just go and be like, do you have to be that detailed? No. Can you just go and talk to a tree and be like, Hey, this is a problem having put your hand on the tree and just feel the healing. You can absolutely do that. I do other things because that that's just something that comes to me intuitively to do. Yeah.

Speaker: Yeah. That is so interesting. I really like that. Kind of going back to what you were saying about like this seeing turtles when you need, i think you said for you need some healing and then with snapping turtles, then being more like you need more protection on you. Do you think that there's certain animals that tend to appear for people during like certain situations or major life transitions or things like that?

Speaker: Birds, a lot of different types of birds. And I think that you can kind of look at those birds, whether they're doves, because they can they can be ah a a symbol for ah for a loved one who has passed, right? Cardinals is the traditional we think of. Blue jays come often whenever... Like I need a little more happiness, a little more fun. And I'm wondering, well, should I work all day or should I just take a break? And then like, if I see a fun colored bird or like a yellow bird or something that's fun, then I'll take that as a sign to, it's okay to just just chill for a little bit.

Speaker: so So, again, just going to, it's really just about being a part of like being such a part of the universe that you go out and you just have this total, like, This relationship with animals that's so, again, it's just all in synchronicity, right? And you see it and you're like, that's my sign to just to to give myself a little bit of a break. Or that's my sign to take the weekend off or something. And I say that. i I work, I don't work a traditional job, but I do work my absolute ass off on on what I do because I'm an um entrepreneur and i I see clients and I run my own business. And I would get so caught up in that, that like, I don't do a lot of self-care. And so I, sometimes it is the the birds who come to me and and show me, hey, this is more time for self-care. This is more play. um Dolphins also, obviously I live in Middle or East Tennessee. I'm not going to go outside and see a dolphin, right? Like most people are not. But if you live in an area or you live near the beach and you do see dolphins, those are ah those are like the symbol for play. Or, you know, another way you can connect with animals is, um,

Speaker: ah getting an Oracle deck. I have like a, I can't remember. It's called like spirit of the animals Oracle deck. And, um and I think I just ordered it from Amazon or something, but, but it's wonderful. Sometimes I'll just ask a question. I'll say, well, what is the healing that I need right now? Or what is the message that I need for today or something like that? And then I'll pull like one to three cards and and kind of get my answer. Right. But it' again, it's just about being, being,

Speaker: one with the energy that you're trying to connect with. And that's just the energy of the universe. So like really immersing yourself in the energy that, that is all things. But even if it's an animal back to the dolphin thing, even if it's an animal that like, I won't go outside and see if I start seeing them pop up dolphin stuff on my social media, I take that as a girl, you do not need to work this weekend. You have got to chill out.

Speaker: Like you have got to have fun. You have to have more joy. I think that i think that that animals can come up in lots of different ways and not just ones that we see outside because we're so, like we're surrounded by technology and ads. so maybe those ads have a lot of animals in them or like any kind of symbolism like that. Do you see what I'm saying? Like, it's not just about when you're going on a walk and what you see, it's about like, kind of what is, what are you being inundated with? I was at a thrift store and I saw three buffalo in one day.

Speaker: And I was like, okay, then if one was a giant buffalo statue outside of a thrift store. And then I went to another thrift store and I saw a big stained glass buffalo And then I saw like a bronze sculpture buffalo at a different thrift store. And so I'm like, well, clearly the buffalo wants to talk to me today, right? Yeah. it's really It's really about like what like what you're open to receiving. It doesn't just have to be like a a living creature. It doesn't have to be something that's really... I think sometimes when things are...

Speaker: when when things show up in repetition, that that's an obvious sign. I agree. Yeah. I think that that that's that's something that I've been trying to be more cognizant of whenever i see those synchronicities in nature where it's just like, okay, well, this isn't just a coincidence. Like there's no coincidences. This means something. And we just have to pay attention to it and be mindful of, be more intentional and and like you were saying, like be present in your body. And yeah. Do you think that grief changes our connection to nature and like our intuition at all?

Speaker: I think that grief can absolutely devastate a person's sense of belonging and a sense of safety and a sense of self. And I think that it can be such a block to your own intuition that like it can really... make you distrust what you're seeing.

Speaker: Grief is so, grief can be so huge and we all process grief differently, right? Like we all go through our own processing of those really big emotions. And and sometimes grief makes you feel like the sky is never going to be blue again. So do I think it can affect your own intuition. Absolutely. i think that it can affect your own intuition to the point that it's almost like a hard reset where you have like where you can't really get back into that until you process the grief. And I say that because, so and this is kind of really sad, so trigger warning about children who have died, but I i have in the past two, two and a half months, I've had nine moms reach out to me because their children have passed away. And now some of those were cho like small babies. It was just horrible, horrible, horrible. Some of them were small babies. One lady had her, her son was 35 and died in a motorcycle accident. And, but it's all the same. And it was like, like, and all these people who are coming to a medium, right. you

Speaker: like this kind of conversation because they really want closure and healing and they're just hurting. Right. and you can't say anything to take away the hurt. Like there's nothing that can take away that hurt, but, but what you can, you can do is you can listen and you can love the person. You can meet them where they're at because really honestly, half of doing readings is accuracy. Right. Half of its accuracy and talent. The other half is just loving people and meeting them where they're at.

Speaker: Right. Because at the end of the day, everyone wants to be heard and everyone wants to be loved. And so if you can do that for a person and you can really sit with them and sit like in their grief with them. it it can help them tremendously. But what I've learned is that these these mothers or anybody who's in a tremendous amount of grief, or even if you've lost a dog that you were extremely close to, it can really cloud your intuition in a big way. And what I've learned is that so many people who have come to me, again, they're very open, but they're like, well, i i still feel like my uncle or my grandmother or whomever it is around them, but they're like, I can't feel my son. What's wrong with me that I can't? I don't feel like I'm getting messages from my son who who passed.

Speaker: And it's like, well, because you're in so much grief and there's not really anything you can do about that except process it and and really like rely on your community for support. Rely on your families for support if they're supportive. Reach out to friends and and just the only person who can get you through that is you, right? And sometimes maybe maybe it's a grief that is...

Speaker: something that like, if you have a person who's much older, like a great grandpa, and you know that they're going to pass soon, and like, they're miserable in their body anyway, like, there's going to be some grief there, but you're going to more easily be able to to to connect with that person once they pass, because it's not, you know, it's not as much of a tragedy for someone who's like 85 years old to pass as somebody who's like 30, you know, or who's kid. Right.

Speaker: And so I think also that and it doesn't mean that you love them any less. It just means that there's an understanding there. And so, so especially when it comes to loved ones who've passed away, I think that grief can really block your intuition. And, and the only person who can get you through it is you, yeah you and your higher self really truly. and And sometimes it's not a day at a time. Sometimes it's, I just got to get through the next 15 minutes, you know, like if I, if I can get through the next 15 minutes, if I can get through the next hour, And then it stops becoming hour by hour and it stops becoming day by day. And then it's week by week. Right. And then you realize that one day you realize that you can look back on that person. You can smile and it that doesn't have to come with tears. But it's just a matter of getting to that point. But yeah, I think it can really, really ah quite literally eviscerate someone's trust in themselves. Yes, I do.

Speaker: Yeah. i think So I heard this from a friend and she was telling me how like she's a medium as well. And she had mentioned that sometimes when someone passes and you are experiencing that immense amount of grief too. in the spirit world, they are not going to, maybe they don't, they know that's not the right time to come to you because it's going to end up like making that grief feel even heavier if they come too soon. and I'm just like, I didn't even think about that. That's probably a ah really great way of looking at it because it's understanding too, like, especially if,

Speaker: what she was saying whenever she was on her path and to become a medium like it's you don't want to once you start connecting like with your spirit guides and she was able to help me connect with them she's like you have to be very careful because if you just live for the moments of like wanting to connect with your spirit guides and wanting to connect as a medium all the time you're so out of your body all the time like you need to be in your own body too and you can't live for that and so like she was like with loved ones coming to visit you, they will come to visit you and when it's time to visit. And I'm just like, that is such a beautiful way of looking at it. I think. And she's right. I think that sometimes they, I think sometimes that it's all, it's different for everybody, right? Like this is our, this experience when we're in a physical body is the most temporary form of of our existence, right? And so I do think that she's totally right about about all of that. Well, and also sometimes loved ones do reach out to you, but you just don't know. Like it's a matter of not, again, going back to not being able to trust your intuition because you're in such grief. You're like, it because it makes you question your own mortality. It makes you question if there is a another side. And it's not really that there's another side. It's that there, it's like a there like there's so many different realms you can be in. And some people who are really tormented and tortured souls, maybe they're not on a level where they can actually reach out to you. That's amazing. something that happens. I'm in Appalachia. There are a lot of people with drug abuse problems here. It's horrible. I wish we had a system that actually took care of people with those issues instead of just like chastising them, right? So with that, I think of all these people who have lost loved ones But they live such a tortured life that like they have to do so much work on the other side before they can actually be able to reach out. Right. Yeah. So and and that being said, maybe a medium can reach out to them for you, but that sometimes it's hard for them to to reach out to you. I had a situation like that just a few days ago where a woman's son who passed away had reached out to her a couple times, but had such a hard time making that connection because he was in a place of of deep self-reflection, right? And he was not really, he did not really have enough energy to reach out. He would reach out when he could, right? But but the mom was like, why can't I hear him? But then it was also like her big grief monster. Because we do kind of develop, we develop fear monsters and we develop grief monsters when when people,

Speaker: passed my little dog flapjack passed in september of 2024 and i'm telling you i never thought the sky was going to be blue again i never like i still i'm like the earth is just not as bright like it's just not as bright because he's he's not here and i do this kind of work right and i know that he's always on my team and he's always there and i know that he's going to come back soon because he tells me that all the time and like i know that but like this shit still sucks you know like it's not the same It's not the same because I'm also having my human experience too. And so there is like honoring of your feelings. And yes, your friend is so right about not being in your body. Going back to, again, i feel like this podcast has been half about how I don't take care of myself, but like when I'm not eating, it I'm not doing the things and like, I'm just talking to clients.

Speaker: I don't have a shutoff and I don't need to shut off and I'm fine with that. I've never had a shutoff. It's been a pretty constant thing for me to, to like, I'm always kind of in the Akashic records. If I'm doing a reading for someone, will I still say the prayer out of respect for the records? Absolutely. Is it really going to make me connect any better? No, it's probably not because I'm kind of there all the time anyway. There's not a shutoff for me, but, and I'm okay with that because I know how to balance it. I practice a lot of spiritual hygiene and that kind of thing. you know, my door's not open 24 seven to talk to dead people. Like I ain't doing that shit. I've got things to do. Like I got ice cream to eat, X-Files to watch. Like don't have time for that. But like, that's totally been my hyper fixation for the past month. But like, you can't, David Duchovny from the nineties does something to like heal me, like on a molecular level. I just can't put it in words. I just got to a place that I was like, fuck everything. I'm going to watch the X-Files again and I'm going like it. yeah

Speaker: um i And my husband, he always tries to get me to watch other things like when I'm watching something else. But like i have ADHD. I'm a hyper fixate. So I can't anymore. Like wear that out.

Speaker: Right. So anyway, he's like, well, I guess we're watching X-Files for the next three months. and I said, you damn right. We are. That's all we're going to do for like three months. Yeah. X-Files every night. yeah Anyway. So, but like, I don't, I don't have a shutoff, but what I do know is that she's very right about when you're in that world constantly, it's hard to stay in your body. And that's why sometimes like i will go out and take a walk and be like, wow, I haven't eaten for like 12 hours. I should probably do something about that.

Speaker: It's kind of really important to take care of yourself. And to come back into your body. And I think it's doubly so if you're neurodivergent because it's so easy to go out of your body. who So you mentioned, you know, working with the Akashic Records. Do you ever see connections between someone's soul journey and reoccurring symbols? Yeah.

Speaker: I do. It's interesting because um it's not necessarily, sometimes it's tied to nature. Sometimes it's not. So here's an example. My husband, before I ever went to, like visited his house for the first time. So when I was first starting to get to know him.

Speaker: always, like, i always knew he was a ship captain. I saw all these ships around him. I knew it was a past life thing. And something that I realized was that he, so like he was obsessed with boats and ships and like the ships that you can build in bottles and stuff. He wouldn't build them, but he would buy them, right? That had already been built. So when I went to his house, he had like,

Speaker: paintings of ships. And he said, yeah, I used to have like one of the, the, the, what, like the big steering wheels. That's not what it's called. Somebody who like loves ships. If there is some weird Venn diagram of people who listen to your show and people who just like fucking love nautical stuff, hear this.

Speaker: the ship steering wheel. there go be so Like yelling the actual term. I don't know. I don't know. Steering wheel sounds like a great. i know what I would have called it. yeah it's the spinning it's the spinning thing um but that like what's it was just so funny because i walked two into his house and i was like oh yeah this is very much you isn't it i was like this is what i imagined as you and he was pretty open to me being weird right because like i couldn't be with somebody who wouldn't open to stuff and so i said you know i always saw you as like some kind of ship captain And he's like, well, I guess that does make sense since my house is full of ship stuff. And I said, it sure is. And I was like, have you been on a lot of boats? And he's like, no. He's like, I just love them. And I'm like, yeah, cool, cool, cool, cool. So yes.

Speaker: But you know what else I found is that some people, this is going to sound so weird when I say this out loud. Some people, like when I look back, at people's lifetimes for the past, you know, couple hundred years or or whatever.

Speaker: What I'm doing readings for people, i've i've kind of realized that a lot of people like to go back and forth between being human and animal now. Whereas like, I think before that wasn't so much the case. Cause when I look at like way back Akashic records, that's not so much the case. Like maybe people kind of evolved from animals into being humans but doesn't always work that way also this is not the only planet right like there have been a lot of earths there have been a lot of earths there but this is just the one that that we know and and so where like earth-like planets you know but so like i will see kind of a pattern of i was it's just so funny because like i'll see a pattern of of people being drawn to a certain animal. And I'm like, well, yeah, because that was what you were in a very recent past life. Or i talked to someone's dog yesterday and he was like really upset about being in a dog body. And I was like, and I knew why he was in a dog body, but I'm looking at his picture. Right. And I'm like, and I'm asking him in my head because I'm having a whole other conversation with the the dog when I'm doing animal communication or the cat or the horse or whatever, as I am to the the person. And I'll say, okay, hang on one second. I'm going question. I'm going back and forth with this dog. and I'm looking at this photo. Yeah. And he was saying I had a karmic bump. He's like, I might not have been the best person. I had a karmic bump and then I had to be a dog. And I really didn't like being a dog. I want to be a person again. But it was really clear that like he hadn't went over his karmic bump. And I was like, I think you might end up being a dog again. he's like, I know I'm probably going be a dog again, but I don't want to be a dog. want to be a cat next time. And I'm like, that's fine. And, and but the way he put it was like, i want to be a cat so I can look down and everyone else.

Speaker: And it was really funny. So like sometimes you see, you see, sometimes you see, and he was kind of an asshole, right? But he loved this person. He loved this person, but he wanted to look down on all the other creatures in the house because she was somebody who has like a like ah a couple dogs and a couple cats and stuff. And he was describing to me how he didn't like that the cats could look down on him. that made him feel like a lowly being, right? Like they're staring at him from from their ivory tower. Yeah. he didn't like that. So he wanted to be cat next time.

Speaker: So I did tell her, I said, but all I said was, I was like, I think he wants to be a cat next time. And she said, really? And I said, yeah, he likes to be up in high places. and i kind of left it at that, but, um but it was just, it was really funny. So yes, I do see patterns when I look at,

Speaker: akasic records with with people and and animals. And sometimes you just see things you don't expect. Oh, I did have ah a dog once. This was also during Animal Communication who said that he loved finding people. And this was before the lady told me he was in training to be a search and rescue dog. It was a Vizsla. And he was this little six-month-old puppy, just absolutely amazing dog. And he was dressed up in a pirate costume because this was a Halloween event. and she brought her dog. It was like a dog-friendly thing. So he was a pirate. And it was so funny because I'd just seen a beagle That was unfortunately not very smart a few minutes before. And then I have this, that sounds terrible. Anyway, she was just a baby. She just didn't have a lot of life experience this time. And she's kind of a new soul. And her really important thing was to tell me about the dog television that she just like would not stop talking about. So I tell her human that, right? And she's like, oh yeah, just started playing dog television for her. And i was like, yeah, I know because she won't stop talking about it. So I have that conversation, which is very different from this.

Speaker: conversation with this Vizla that's, and he goes, I love finding people. He's like, that's my job. That's my job. And all these lifetimes, I love finding people. And he said, and she's usually a man, but she's a woman in this lifetime. It just made sense for her to be woman in lifetime.

Speaker: And, and then I said, said, well, he says that he's found people with you several times before. Like, do you want to tell me about it? And she was like, yeah, he's, he's in training to be a search and rescue dog. And she said, he's such a natural at it that I thought that, that he probably,

Speaker: had maybe reincarnated as from another search and rescue dog. But he showed me all these dogs he'd been. He'd been like a German shepherd, like an old timey police dog. he had been like a Newfoundland. like he like Like he'd shown me all these things or St. Bernard or whatever. the The dogs that find the people in the snow, he was one of those. But he showed me all these things. But he said, but I was the same kind of dog last time.

Speaker: And she talked about a dog that she had that passed away a few years before that. She thought that he was the same dog. Wow. And he told me that. Yeah. and but he But he told me that he'd come back several times, that that was his favorite thing. So I see i do see patterns in general when it comes to Akashic Records, but also it very much has to do with, with I think, when you you find yourself drawn to a place or an animal or a person or something that there typically is a lot of history there. It's just a matter of ah figuring out what that is.

Speaker: Right. And sometimes you don't have to know because we're just trying to be like humans on this weird spinning rock, right? Like we're just trying to yeah survive have a good time. So yeah do you really have to know everything?

Speaker: Right. Yeah. No, it is so intriguing though to want to know everything. So outside of grounding, I know you mentioned grounding a lot and as a way to like, okay, if, especially if you're feeling like you're spending too much time on your phone or like you're too invested in work or whatever the case may be, like go outside, take a walk and ground. Is there any other things I guess that we can do or our listeners can do to reconnect themselves to nature, just like a daily practice that they could potentially do?

Speaker: So there's two things. One, create a really comfy space for yourself in your home. Just a comfy space. You don't have to spend a lot of money on it. Just create a comfy space near like a window or something. Maybe if you have more fairy energy or you want to draw more of that into your, into your life, or if you really like to watch birds or whatever, put like a bird feeder out like near a window that you like to sit by, read a book, whatever. For me, I like to put little sun catchers and things in my windows. And so I kind of bring in some of that fairy energy too, because I don't have a lot of that. So, because I have a lot of unicorn energy, but don't have a lot of fairy energy. So I kind of like to invite them in. So one, create a cozy space in your home, because if you have a cozy space that you will sit down, that is its own form of meditation and grounding. Okay. Number one, don't overthink it. Use what you have mundane stuff, right? Like what do you have in your space that you can use and and make cozy?

Speaker: Because it really does lead back to grounding. Two it's because it's so easy to overthink things, maybe it's enough for you to just simply go outside and kind of, you can, you can sun gaze. You all know what sun gazing is.

Speaker: No. ha So it's where you, you just kind of gently, you can look towards the sun at early in the morning when the sun's rays are not harmful and late in the evening.

Speaker: And for me, I like early morning better, but like to just kind of soften your gaze and look towards the sun, you don't have look directly at it, but look towards it because the rays are really not harmful at that time. That to me is extremely grounding. And I can just get lost and I will find myself just looking up at the clouds and stuff after that. Right. Or I'll find myself hearing all the birds chirping or whatever is going on. Like I will really pay attention to those nature sounds. To me, I think that's a very, very easy way. So even if you get off work and it's kind of later in the day and you like you have 10 minutes to go sit outside or five minutes to go sit outside and kind of sun gaze. That helps you ground and that connects you more with your intuition because it's all about like connecting with your higher self, right? Like to understand your own intuition more. So really basic things, cozy spot in your home, maybe do some sun gazing.

Speaker: You can stand outside barefoot. I'm sure Tiffany, that would be wonderful for you with like all your, your earth signs that you have. Yeah. Good. Great. um and And just taking the time to to to really sit and maybe you do some grounding exercises. Maybe you do the tree visualization. And you know what? If you don't know where to start, try the tree visualization. and Because not everybody's so brave to go outside without shoes on, Tiffany. I'm not. so Tougher than I am.

Speaker: but um But really tree visualization, bubble, show me how good it gets today. You can say out loud, yeah maybe you go outside and you talk to a tree and you say, i would really like to connect to my higher self and my intuition more.

Speaker: Can you please help me do that? Maybe you take a bath and you light yourself a candle and you say, my psychic gifts are opening and I will understand myself better and I'll understand my gifts more.

Speaker: Or maybe that you're healing from things. And maybe that kind of leads you naturally into into more intuition. But there's so many things that you can do. And I think some people will hear that and say, oh my goodness, that's like overwhelming. Just pick one thing and do it.

Speaker: And then yeah pick another thing and do it a different day. And then pick another. like It will just come so naturally to you. But again, Ted Andrews, nature-wise,

Speaker: Or Nature Speak, ah Animal Wise is great, but Animal Speak is a wonderful book. and But if I had to recommend you to really get in tune with like nature magic and and well, maybe not. It is nature magic in its own way. Maybe not in ah in a pure witchcraft way. It's not that. Mm-hmm.

Speaker: But it is interesting movement, which kind of is actually witchcrafted. Right. um But nature and and animal speak are two great books, I think anyway. And also just um really mundane things like Cooking with intention is a big one. And you can do that easily because you have to make dinner anyway.

Speaker: Why don't you do it intentionally? Or why don't you put herbs in it that promote prosperity? I know that Rachel Patterson mentioned, um like even like your morning coffee can be a ritual. I have a friend who every single morning she makes her coffee the exact way her dad liked his coffee. And she sets it out for him and all of her ancestors. And then she pours it on the ground every evening.

Speaker: Oh my God, that is sweet. Yeah. I love that. So you can do things like that. Just it's, what is something that you like to do What is a mundane thing and incorporate it?

Speaker: That's such great advice. I agree. It doesn't have to be hard. Yeah, it doesn't. And I like that it, it doesn't have to be hard and it's super accessible to everyone. So it doesn't matter, you know, if you're, in the broom closet, so to speak, or if you are openly practicing or where you are on your journey with witchcraft or just trying to be more intentional and say, like, you don't you you don't consider yourself a witch or anything like that.

Speaker: Anybody can do this. So I love that. here And you know, one other little thing I want to add to, and I am no feng shui expert, but I will say this. There are two areas in your home that everybody needs to pay attention to. And that's your love corner and your money corner. Yeah.

Speaker: yeah So love healing, right? And even if you, like you said, like, or the, the broom closet, I don't think anybody's really going to complain if you put a little bit of rose quartz and like a fresh plant in either of those corners or some pyrite in your money corner, or even write like a little petition that you stick into the plant so it can help like, and put the intention of it growing or, or like as the plant grows or under the plant or something like that, or even under like, let's say you have like a little trinket dish and you write a petition like about how you're healing in your

Speaker: again, in the left corner of your home or in your abundance corner. I think both. um And then maybe your little trinket tray has some crystals and some coins and stuff that just look normal. Like if you're not somebody who like who can practice things comfortably in front of like your family, right? But love corner of your home, money corner. And if all else fails, get you some rocks that are coordinated to money and healing and go bury that shit outside in the corner in those corners of your home.

Speaker: Right? Yeah. And nobody's going to complain about that because they can't see it. Right. Yeah. And if they do, why are you looking so hard at my yard? know. would you do that? So there's lots of ways you can incorporate magic, right? And the just daily things, easy things.

Speaker: We have one last question, and we thought this might be kind of a fun question. What's the strangest or the most unforgettable sign that you've ever been sent?

Speaker: Oh, God. Hang on. let me Give me just a minute. I'm gonna have to think about it. Because there's always like something and it's always like the most ridiculous shit.

Speaker: Because there's been some that have been really indicative of like maybe not great things. Like when I see an owl, I know like, oh, somebody's gonna die. Like I know, I know that. If I see a bird's nest, yeah. Yeah.

Speaker: For me, it always means that if I see a bird's nest and it's ah at my front door, which has happened twice in my life, that means something really, really, really like unexpectedly chaotic is going to happen. But it's my guides trying to show me that because I'll get some like wild shit.

Speaker: I had a dog named Zeus and Zeus was very chaotic, but he passed away 2019 and in February. And I remember being so distraught, so distraught about him, um, passing. So had to have him euthanized and it was just a horrible experience that I remember. And I'm okay now I've really healed from things and I, and I feel much better.

Speaker: Like the sky got blue again after, after he passed. It's not so blue after, after flapjack passed, but it's not been as long either. You know, I haven't had much time to process my emotions. But after he passed, and I think this is something that a lot of people can relate to. So again, birds come to me like all the time, all the time and in a in a pretty significant way. And when I got home, I went outside and just cried. i was crying.

Speaker: And there were these, and I heard this absolute racket is the best way to put it. And it was like 15 birds having a freak out. And there was nothing like attacking them. they They were just in a tree and they were just making all these sounds. and And it was a racket, but it was also like kind of pretty, like it sounded kind of pretty. And I looked and these birds did this, like they swirled together Like they just did this weird swirly, swirly, swirly. And then all of them all at once, like spread out and went like in different directions.

Speaker: And it almost kind of shaped, like was shaped into a heart. And I knew right then that he was fine and that I was fine and that everything's going to be okay. But then I walk in my house and I'm talking to my friend, Ben. And Ben is also very spiritual and he's he's very much a natural medium, which is interesting because not a lot of men have that naturally, right? Yeah. He said, while you were outside, Zeus came up.

Speaker: and barked at me at the bedroom door. Like cause he was the only, there was not another dog in the house. So it could not have been a ah ah physical dog. It was just Zeus that I had. And he said, Zeus came and he was barking the bedroom door.

Speaker: and then I immediately got this sense that he was fine, but it was simultaneous while I was seeing those birds outside and I walked back in and that's what Ben had told me. And so I think that was, that was one of the most comforting messages that I have ever, I've ever received.

Speaker: was that. Wow. That is beautiful. Yeah. And it's just like, you know, being aware of the signs and synchronicities that if you're not aware of these things and you're not paying attention to it, you may just think, oh, there's birds.

Speaker: Yeah. Doing the bird's things in the yard. Well, and I think that a lot of people resonate with that because so many people have suffered just such a great loss. You know, like everybody's suffered a great loss and and just knowing that, because even I, like, even though I do the things that I do and I never had doubts, I was like, I was crying so hard. Like, you know, that, that cry where you're like, it's not even like sensical, right? Like you're not even, like if somebody said something to you, you wouldn't be able to talk. You're just like, like heaving almost. You're crying so hard. And so like those birds were louder than that sound.

Speaker: Like they were so loud and, and it wasn't like scary loud. It was just like, it got my attention. And then I immediately stopped crying. It just immediately. And that didn't mean that I didn't go right back to crying like 15 minutes later. But what it did mean was that I was able to know that,

Speaker: that he was fine and he made a really safe transition over. And so I just don't, I don't question things. And I wish that, um I wish for anybody who suffered a great loss that, that they're able to accept and understand the signs that come to them. And you don't have to fully understand it. You can just, it can be simple enough to say that, well, that was that person visiting to let me know that they got over to the other side. Okay. Nature nature is a wonderful medium for that.

Speaker: I agree. When my dad passed away, i remember after he passed, he always loved bugs. And like he would never, like if he found a spider or something in the house, he wouldn't kill it. He would like take it outside. And i remember I was taking my oldest to school and I had just had another baby. And so i was going outside and i looked at the car and there was a leaf bug on the hood of the car. And I was like, okay, weird. It didn't think anything of it. And I put my kids in the car and I'm just like, well, surely it'll jump off when I start the car. You know what I mean? Like he's not going stay on there. I drive up to my daughter's elementary school, get her out of the car, the bug's still in the car. And I'm like, okay. And so I'm just like, surely it'll be gone by the time I get back in the car. Cause I had you know, get the car seat out and everything. Take the, ah my oldest one in and back to the car, the bug's still in the roof of the car. And I'm just like, okay. And so I'm just like, you know what? I'm just like, you know, this is my dad. I just know. I just had this knowing feeling like this is my dad telling me like that he's okay. So I put my baby back in like in her, um, her carrier back in the car, drive back to the house. and he

Speaker: this bug did not fly off this car until I got safely back home. And I was like, oh, it's like he came with me to drop my daughter off at school. Like it was so sweet. And I'm just like, but I just knew I was like, that is my dad.

Speaker: I just knew. But yeah, it is. It's crazy the way signs come through. Yeah. appreciate you sharing that about your dad. That's that is so, so, so sweet. I think that it is fascinating how, um,

Speaker: how we do get signs. And, and as long as we like, we trust and we trust in ourselves and, and we can really still receive that love. And that's, so that's a really beautiful story to share.

Speaker: ah thank you. Yeah. But I mean, I just feel like we could talk to you for like hours and hours. yeah This has been the longest interview we've ever had with anyone. um Yeah. And But before we do wrap everything up, where can our listeners find you?

Speaker: So that is a wonderful question. You can find me at KimmyHalabertasychic.com. I have a contact form you can fill out or you can email me directly. I do have a a number that you can call or text, but it 865-224-6858. But I'd say most people typically go through my my website, but either way is fine. I do a lot of remote work. So I can do remote energy work. I can do um readings remotely, whether it's mediumship or Akashic records or um like for animals, like animal communication or, you know, whatever general intuitive readings. So you can find me there, but I am in Knoxville and I do events often and I do see ah people locally as well in person. So you can reach me in a lot of different ways, I suppose.

Speaker: Perfect. Yeah. Well, thank you so much for coming on our show. Like yeah this was great. An awesome interview. Yeah. Yeah. I just always feel like I talk too much. So i appreciate that. So I try not to talk too much, but, but, um, this was wonderful. Thank you for having me.

Speaker: Yeah, absolutely. No, we're both yappers. So yeah, we love it. Great.
