Introduction and Guest Welcome

officialgspn
Hello and welcome to another daily English Premier League podcast brought to you by GSPN. My name is Mikey and today I have the luxury of being joined by the one and only, it's Mr. Tom Jolly. How are you Tom?
00:00:24
Tom Jolley
I am a

International Break Impact

00:00:25
Tom Jolley
very busy man, but we are here for another episode.
00:00:28
officialgspn
Yeah and you've utilised your business over the international break which we won't go on about and and we are here to set a forecast. It's match

Premier League and Champions League Preview

00:00:37
officialgspn
day four.
00:00:39
officialgspn
in the Premier League calendar, and we've got all 10 matches crammed in across Saturday and Sunday, including the return of the UF Champions League set to come back this ah next week, so should I say. um So um

Southampton vs. Manchester United Analysis

00:00:54
officialgspn
we're going to jump into it straight away, Tom, and we're going to talk about Saturday's pictures, ah which there are eight of those, and we're kicking off with the early kickoff for two teams that are heavily under pressure. It's a six-pointer, as I've pinched from you already,
00:01:09
officialgspn
It's Southampton against Man United. Tom Jolly, tell me how you thought.
00:01:15
Tom Jolley
Oh, it's a weird one, isn't it? First of all, I know it's game week four, but if it was like, should we buy game week 12? This international break's lasted about half a millennium, but we're back, aren't we?
00:01:22
officialgspn
see
00:01:23
Tom Jolley
And Manchester United traveled to St Mary's at 1230 on Saturday. And that's, it could go either way, couldn't it? I mean, Southampton and Russell Martin, they've been very frail defensively, haven't they?
00:01:34
Tom Jolley
They've been not great at all, but attacking wise, there's been a little bit of promise there. but you look at Man United and you're thinking and we should win this game. I think Bruno's long overdue a return. I think he he's got to have a goal involved in this game.
00:01:46
Tom Jolley
I mean, I'm just intrigued to see what the starting lineup is because we've had rumours this morning, often we have 10 hards saying, and I mean, Agate has been said to be available. So whether 10 of them is going to include the Uruguayan or not, I'm not too sure.
00:01:54
officialgspn
Yeah.
00:01:59
Tom Jolley
I'm more just thinking about the defence. I mean, I know we don't want to speak about the international break, but the litter had an absolute howler for the Netherlands.
00:02:06
officialgspn
Yeah, they reckon his international career is over.
00:02:09
Tom Jolley
Yeah, he was hooked, was it something like 40 minutes into the game or something?
00:02:13
officialgspn
Yeah.
00:02:13
Tom Jolley
ah and Anyway, it wasn't looking good for him, but obviously you'd expect him to come back into the fold in the starting lineup. You'd expect, I mean, umm um I'm expecting Joshua Zirk to come back into that lineup. I think as much as that battering at home to Liverpool, I mean, you can say battering depending on how you want to look at the game, but he had his chances in that game.
00:02:30
Tom Jolley
and I'd expect him to come back into the start.
00:02:30
officialgspn
Yeah.
00:02:32
Tom Jolley
But you look at Southampton, the They've got players here and there, haven't they, that can cause trouble. But I don't see them as a massive threat. And that's going to come to bite me up the backside in three days' time when we lose 2-0. But no, overall, I'm positive, but I'm held back a little bit from a Manchester United point. If you want to say mary from a I'm going to St. Mary's as a Southampton fan, southhoton southam to van as a say it's fun you're looking at this game and going, we could get something here.
00:02:59
officialgspn
Yeah, ah yeah ah you could be right. Do you reckon Casamiro should be dropped?
00:03:03
Tom Jolley
I mean, I think the only light cut if he is dropped is if Iguate comes into the fold for the first time, should I say. I think it'll be the Uruguayan to partner Kobe in midfield. They had a brilliant performance for Uruguay in the week.
00:03:15
Tom Jolley
I think he had over 30 ball recoveries or 60 ball recoveries over two games, which is unbelievable for a midfielder of his quality.
00:03:20
officialgspn
Yeah.
00:03:22
Tom Jolley
the the I mean, i've on on different platforms over the past week or so, I've had ah i've had a little bit of a go at Ineos saying they should have got the deal done earlier. for a guard and things like that.
00:03:30
officialgspn
Yeah.
00:03:31
Tom Jolley
um And that that's part to blame for the Casamero under in a sense, not to say that if a guard played, he wouldn't have made them the same mistakes because we don't know who that, but we'll move on from Manchester United, because there's a couple, three clock kickoffs to talk about, five.

Brighton vs. Ipswich and Crystal Palace vs. Leicester Previews

00:03:44
officialgspn
Yeah, there is absolutely. um So the first one I'd like to jump into is Brighton, who've made a great start in my opinion, and they are at home to Ipswich, and who again have performed really well in the games that they've had, but Christ have they had tricky games to navigate through.
00:03:44
Tom Jolley
and
00:04:03
officialgspn
Liverpool City being just a couple of those.
00:04:06
Tom Jolley
Liverpool City, Arsenal, was it and then Brighton.
00:04:09
officialgspn
but ask Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:04:10
Tom Jolley
It's the worst four games you could imagine coming into the start of their first Premier League season in God knows how long.
00:04:16
officialgspn
Yeah.
00:04:18
Tom Jolley
I really like Keirah McKenna. I like what he's doing with the Trax boys and Ipswich.
00:04:24
Tom Jolley
It's a strange one, isn't it? because They're attacking wise, they could score so many goals this year, but I think every game for them needs to be like a basketball game for them to do that and Brighton will do everything in their power to make it their most controlled boring game as possible.
00:04:30
officialgspn
Yeah.
00:04:39
officialgspn
Yeah.
00:04:41
Tom Jolley
Fabian Herzler, i mean he's done a brilliant job there on beating so far this season, aren't they? so i think
00:04:45
officialgspn
Yeah, I'm just looking at their their record. They've done, they've done very, very well and comp like, yeah, very, very good results. Really. It is full of Moo, who they drew to, uh, eight switch though, in the last game, one all draw.
00:04:57
Tom Jolley
Yeah, I mean, yeah, I mean, the most exciting player for Ipswich is Samish Modics, isn't it?
00:04:57
officialgspn
Deconating really.
00:05:02
Tom Jolley
He was one of the most exciting players in the championship last year for Blackburn. And I think if anyone's going to help them get over the line, I think the signing of him will be crucial to that. Defensively, they've looked OK at times.
00:05:12
Tom Jolley
I think don't get me wrong, going away to the Etihad in the second game of the season and then getting, you know, royally trampled over by Early Harland. It's not something to be quite embarrassed about because it seems to happen to every team at the moment in the league. But as a whole, you'd expect this to be a Brighton win and I wouldn't say it would be as quite comfortable as the others, just because of how exciting Ipswich can be in moments.
00:05:36
officialgspn
Yeah, I agree. And that does give them hope, really. um What about for Palace and Leicester then? We've got Palace at home against Leicester.
00:05:43
Tom Jolley
I expect Eze to light the world, set the world alight, come after the international break. He had moments of flashes for England in the year over the last week where he looked really good. Same as, I mean, we'll get on to Trent Alexander, although I've done a little bit because he was unbelievable over the international break.
00:05:59
Tom Jolley
as a Mateta, you'd expect him to be coming back to full fitness now. I mean, you expect all the players that featured in that Euro competition, the Olympics, to be coming back into full fitness come the end of September, start of October.
00:06:10
Tom Jolley
So um I'm looking at Palace going, this should be a comfortable win, but don't count out Jamie Vardy.
00:06:10
officialgspn
Yeah.
00:06:15
Tom Jolley
I mean, we know it's like,
00:06:15
officialgspn
No, I don't. I'm blessed

West Ham vs. Fulham Insights

00:06:17
officialgspn
to be fair.
00:06:18
Tom Jolley
Yeah, I mean, he has a Red Bull every five minutes during a game, doesn't he? So he he'll be full of energy. It's just whether they can keep him fully, fully fit for the rest of the season. But again, I can't see anything past the home win here.
00:06:29
officialgspn
Yeah, well, they've both got one point so far this season at three games, so it's quite hard to tell between them guys, and but you could you could be right at home when there I don't know, Leicester I think have yet to show what they can truly do.
00:06:42
officialgspn
I think to show a glimpse of that and the other week at Villa, which I thought Villa did well to get that win again. and Okay, not North London Derby.
00:06:50
Tom Jolley
Yeah, Steve, sorry, Steve Cooper's I mean, he's going to he can easily get left over the line, Connie, but as much as you say they were from the same points in the league, the the squad quality overall is a vast different story, isn't it?
00:07:03
officialgspn
Yeah, of course. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Agreed. Full of West Ham. So our, our toted team to get European football this year haven't quite lived up to our expectations yet.
00:07:13
Tom Jolley
No, can I just say you have just teased everyone in the audience with the words North London Derby, which is also this weekend. But no, this will be an interesting one. I won't follow and full of much time. Both teams who have, they've had their moments, they've got quality in their squad. I think Marco Silva has this unearthed presence about him that he seems to sort of revive careers at Fulham in a sense. I'm looking at Smith Row, Alex Owobi to name a few. I think the arrival of Joachim Anderson in the defence, I don't think he started a game yet this season.
00:07:42
Tom Jolley
but the the the arrival of him should be should be astronomical to their defence compared to last year, especially with the withdrawal and the selling of Tosin Adarabayo. So I think this is a tough one, isn't it? I think this is one of the harder ones to call because West Ham have a lot more quality in their squad, but Fulham are a lot more set up as a system and it seems to work for them. I mean, don't get me wrong, they probably should have got a point at Old Trafford, let's be honest, but in the first game of the season,
00:08:12
Tom Jolley
Again, this is one of those games where there's quality on either side and I can't I'm bigger for a draw I don't see anything between that to be honest I You
00:08:19
officialgspn
Yeah, Justin, I've just read a start though. Cottage is back or so that has typically enjoyed facing the Hammers, recording more Premier League got ah wins against them than any other team in the Premier League, which is six.
00:08:31
Tom Jolley
call me a bomber Mikey you call me there for one and you start whipping up stats like that and
00:08:37
officialgspn
Hey, mate, I can't help it. I'm on with Tom Jolly. I've got to live up to expectations, you know. We can't let the fans down. um And I'm hoping that these next two we're going to whiz through, which are Liverpool at home against Forest and City at home against Brentford. Tell us,

Everton vs. Villa Match Analysis

00:08:52
officialgspn
Tom, what you think about that. Give us your in-depth analysis.
00:08:55
Tom Jolley
I mean, yeah Liverpool Forest, isn't it? that That's one of those...
00:09:00
officialgspn
Yeah, Liverpool Forest.
00:09:02
Tom Jolley
I really like how... I just really like the way Liverpool played at the moment. their midfield in particular is really fascinating in the first three sort of two, three games under Arn Slott because it's so vastly different football to how Jurgen Klopp was playing. and so I mean, I don't know if I said it on here or if I said it on a different platform, but I saw Chris Sutton's quote on saying Jurgen Klopp's a lager drinker and Arn Slott's a drinker of fine wines. And that is the perfect sort of ideology in a sense of how both both managers liked their teams to set up.
00:09:36
Tom Jolley
I'm looking at Trent Alexander-Arnold and Ryan Gravenberg as the two to be the key for Liverpool in this game. I think Trent has been probably one of the players of the season so far. I know we're very, very early on, but if he continues like he has been, I mean, he should have realistically had a goal at Old Trafford. Doing the whole Steven Gerrard celebration was not something from our point of view that was pleasant, but it was very nostalgic. I mean, speaking of nostalgia, we've seen the Barclays-man trend on Twitter this week, which has been beautiful. But as a whole,
00:10:04
Tom Jolley
Ryan Gravenberg has really, really impressed me in that Liverpool midfield. He's finally found his position and iss the way he can play on their own slot, which they never saw on the Jürgen Klopp with him.
00:10:13
officialgspn
Yeah.
00:10:14
Tom Jolley
Forrest, it's a weird one, isn't it? Because they're such a strange team. Because they've got quality, Morgan Gibson-White, Anthony Elanger. If you can get Artawa on you up front, i mean if you can get him scoring like they did in their first season in the league,
00:10:31
Tom Jolley
It's a tough one. When they're at home, Nottingham Forest are very, very good, but ah a trip away to Anfield is never an easy task for anyone, so I don't see anything but a live pool. And then I think with the City game, you can just breeze over that and say that'll be a City win. Whether Brian and Bwemo can unlock the Manchester City defence in that one and and get a goal, it wouldn't surprise me, but you'd expect City to run away with it by three or four.
00:10:53
officialgspn
Yeah, I'd have to agree with you there, definitely. um So talk to us about Zencaster Song.
00:10:59
Tom Jolley
Yeah, do you have a story the world needs to hear? Have you filled with reaching new audiences who are engaged with your story? It might be time for you to start a podcast. Let me tell you about a platform platform we use here at the Global Sports Podcast Network. Zencaster makes it easy to start a high quality podcast built for growth from day one.
00:11:17
Tom Jolley
with 4K video recording from your phone and AI editing that automatically removes um's, ah's and you know's and 22 other speech patterns. Zencaster makes it super easy to start a podcast that sounds great. Ready to tell your story? Check out the link in the show description to learn more about Zencaster. And you know what I love about Zencaster Mike? It's the fact that I say umah every about two syllables. So the fact that the audience will never get to hear that is great.
00:11:41
officialgspn
Yeah, and that's that's the benefit for you, the listener, not us. Get on Zencaster, it's a dream. So there are two later pictures on the Saturday and the first one sees Everton, who are currently propping up the table after three straight losses to the start of the season. They face a massive task, if you ask me, on taking on Villa at Villa Park. Villa have got to be the big favourite, Tom, what do you say?
00:12:08
Tom Jolley
I don't think Everton stand a chance. ah right To be honest, if you're if you're a Toffees fan, you are very, very worried about the CUNG 35-34 game each time, because the end of the season, if they're not they're not sat in around that 14th-15th position, where they've got the heights of that prem that new stadium in the Premier League next year, it's horrendous, isn't it?
00:12:31
Tom Jolley
We know they've had trouble with the ownership, the points deduction last year and whatnot, but as a team, defensively, you expect a Sean Dyches team to be very, very comfortable, rigid, solid and keep clean sheets.
00:12:43
Tom Jolley
We saw that last year. Mikey, where has that gone this year? How have they gone from such a rigid defence? I mean, Jordan Pickford was only a couple of clean sheets behind David Wright for the Golden Glove last year.
00:12:54
Tom Jolley
And this season seeded, I think it's second or third to the most goals in the league this season.
00:12:54
officialgspn
Yeah.
00:12:59
Tom Jolley
I mean, as a whole, I mean, you look at the other end of the pitch, where are Everton's goals going to come from? Dominic Calvert-Lewin's got hamstrings made of absolute paper and they have, Beto isn't Premier League quality.
00:13:11
Tom Jolley
Don't get me wrong, they've got exciting wingers that can come in and provide moments of quality. They've got a midfield that you'd expect on paper to be better than half the teams in the Premier League.
00:13:17
officialgspn
mmm
00:13:21
Tom Jolley
But they just don't seem to be performing and Villa, I mean, ah The signing of a Nana in midfield from Everton speaks volumes, doesn't it? That's a team on the up compared to a team that seems to be plateaued for the last five years. So whether Elie Watkins will be back from full fitness for this, I'm not too sure. I mean, he did pull out the England squad, didn't he? So you'd expect him to start the game. And I don't see anything but Villa putting three or four past Everton.
00:13:48
officialgspn
Yeah I can't imagine that affecting things really. Everton have lost eight of the last ten Premier League games that have immediately followed the international break with a win and a draw whereas Villa have won each of their last five league matches when following it. So if anything but the stats don't show us.
00:14:09
officialgspn
You know, your common sense will tell you everything that you need to know. Whoever will have played on Saturday, I think it will be, like you say, ah quite a big loss, a heavy defeat for Everton. And it does look quite dismal for for me, to be honest. That beautiful, like you said, that the irony of that stadium not being a Premier League stadium is it's quite laughable, really. and
00:14:32
Tom Jolley
it's It's a really strange stadium as well, because if you look at the blueprints of it, they've tried to copy sort of the Schalke model of how their stadium was built and copy the German way of having the stands really steep. the eton very sort of They have looked at the Premier League regulations on how steep their stands can be.
00:14:52
Tom Jolley
And they've made it to a point where they are literally within sort of inches of being over the the guidelines, essentially. So if you're going on a way day to... I'm not sure what it's going to be called.
00:15:02
Tom Jolley
It probably won't be called Goodison Park. It'll probably be called the Everton Stadium.
00:15:06
officialgspn
Mm hmm.
00:15:06
Tom Jolley
Oh, names have asked for some sponsor. But if you're going on a way day to Everton, whether it be in the Championship or the Premier League next year, be prepared to lose a leg in a last-minute winner.
00:15:15
officialgspn
Yeah, absolutely. and And the other thing is that the last game that they played being two in a loop and conceding three in the last nine minutes, I don't know, it just looks a bit dire for me.
00:15:23
Tom Jolley
It was a bit.
00:15:27
officialgspn
ever If I was an Everton fan, I'd be struggling, to be honest with you.
00:15:31
Tom Jolley
But at this on the other end of the stick, you've got Sean Dyche in charge, and if there's any man who can lead the team out of problems like he did last year with Everton, like he's done with Burnley year on year, it's him, isn't it?
00:15:42
officialgspn
Yeah, you're right.
00:15:43
Tom Jolley
He doesn't have any other man in charge right now, and he was on the brink of the sack. The man you'd want in would be Sean Dyche. I mean, some apart from Sam Hardice, who isn't available,
00:15:50
officialgspn
Yeah.
00:15:53
Tom Jolley
getting Harry Redknapp out of retirement or something along those lines. But,

Chelsea's Internal Challenges

00:15:56
Tom Jolley
I mean, Sean Dyches is the man you'd want.
00:15:58
officialgspn
Yeah, and talking about that stunning late comeback for Bournemouth, they are going to host ah Chelsea. ah No, sorry, they're hosting, yeah, Chelsea. and So they're playing Chelsea at the last game of the day and you've got a bit of an inside scoop of Chelsea Football Club, which is already a bit of a shambles in my opinion.
00:16:18
Tom Jolley
I mean, I wouldn't go as far as to say an inside scoop, because it's pretty general public knowledge at this point.
00:16:18
officialgspn
and
00:16:23
Tom Jolley
But Todd Bowley is reportedly wanting out of Chelsea. I mean, he spent something like, what is it, £1.4 billion pounds in the last sort of two or three transfers. But there was a problem with him and the the all the other co-owner of Chelsea saying that
00:16:31
officialgspn
Mm.
00:16:36
Tom Jolley
Tom Bowlley was advocating for Marc Moritzi to stay in charge this season, and the other coach co-owners outvoted him to give the Argentinian the sack. Funnily enough, he's just been announced of the USA men's coach this ah for this year, which you'd expect him to go and manage the 2026 World Cup. But as a whole, Chelsea is a little bit of a mess. They've got quite a few little player situations going on. We had the non-a matter-of-way case situation, away at Wolves. I think everybody's seen that. Enzo Fernandez has just been given a driving ban, so whether there's I mean, I'm sure there's space on the Chelsea team bus for him to go down to Bournemouth, isn't there? I mean, there's probably about a mile along that coach. But as a whole, the the the situations at Chelsea don't look good, even though they're coming off the back of an international break where they've just won 6-2 away at Wolves. So but from an outside looking in at Chelsea, it's not great. But if you're a Chelsea fan and you you know the club inside out, I mean, we'll have to get the Chelsea Pods opinions on this. I wonder how they're feeling because there's so many things going on at Stanford Bridge
00:17:36
officialgspn
Yeah.
00:17:36
Tom Jolley
yet the results of sort of I mean one performance is one performance but the quality they've got you'd expect the performances to pick up.
00:17:45
officialgspn
Yeah, absolutely. And I think, yeah, I don't know but what to what to suggest. I think there's a lot of, I've said it the other day, a lot of high quality players in that team who are being left out. And I don't know how you manage that as ah as ah as a as ah as a coach and bring that together.
00:18:06
officialgspn
There's no doubt that Chelsea have the potential to, to do well, but I just don't know what they are bringing. But I do think there'll be goals in this because both of these teams, um, concede Chelsea, I think I read somewhere I've conceded at least one in the last 17 away games. and and Um, and, and we, as we know, Obama's like to come see the goal now and again. Uh, so I, I wouldn't be shocked with the draw there, but, um, yeah, it could go either way that one for me.
00:18:33
Tom Jolley
Here's a question for you. We know the quality Chelsea have got out wide. I mean, whether Cole Palmer starts on the right or is a 10, that's to be debated again. we No matter what, the inclusion of Jaden Sancho, would you expect him to feature away at the Vitality Stadium?
00:18:49
officialgspn
ah we dishonor it might have been ju t actually We disagreed on this and I think he's a good player. i rate him um so For me, I would. I think you've got absolutely no reason not to. However, coming off the back of a 6-2 and having so much and uncertainty in the club,
00:19:09
officialgspn
He might be looking for continuity. He might be looking for establishing that that starting 11 and making it hard to get in the team. So maybe not. ah But definite I'd like to see him coming on in the second half, if not.
00:19:22
Tom Jolley
Yeah, I mean, I think if you if you just said ah around the Jaden Sanchez situation, just before he'd moved to Man United, Chelsea would have been the perfect move for him because he's from London, he he'd live in where he grew up. I mean, he's playing for a team that I'm pretty sure he was on trial for when he was younger as well as Watford. So you look at that and go, well,
00:19:41
Tom Jolley
But instead of a move to Manchester for the transfer fees that Chelsea were spending at the time, they've still not really replaced Eden Hazard since he left the club. I mean, would he have been the man to take them forward two, three years ago? that That's in hindsight, that's something you can say. But Mikey, there's a couple Sunday ties in there, but before we talk about that, tell us about GSPM.

every day and as you did say Tom moving on to the Sunday and the headline fixture of the weekend it's the North London Derby as Tottenham host Arsenal in a fixture that almost always deliver on an entertaining value.
00:20:51
Tom Jolley
Yeah, I want to bring come to you on this one first. Where does the North London Derby rank in the the sort of, I guess you could say the table of fierce rivalries in England? Where does that rank? Is it that top three? Is it the top five? Where does the North London Derby rank? Because as she said, it always brings entertainment, sometimes lacks quality, but it's always a good watch.
00:21:13
officialgspn
Yeah, do do yeah. and I mean the others out there, are United Liverpool, Liverpool, Everton, that big. um
00:21:21
Tom Jolley
And then you're looking in the broader spectrum of in the EFL, aren't you? You're looking at sort of your Sheffield United, Sheffield Wednesday. I mean, you're looking at Sunderland Newcastle. I mean, that was feisty in the FA Cup last year, wasn't it?
00:21:31
officialgspn
Yeah, it was, yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:21:33
Tom Jolley
A jolly battering against the ma against the Sunderland. So for for me, it's probably up there in the top five, but I wouldn't go as far as to go any higher.
00:21:43
officialgspn
Now, well, that you heard it here, Spurs fans. You are below average in Tom Jolly's view.
00:21:48
Tom Jolley
I mean, you're a low average on most people, especially John Taysh's viewpoint.
00:21:48
officialgspn
and
00:21:53
Tom Jolley
We know his opinions on Spurs, don't we?
00:21:55
officialgspn
Yeah, we do. Talk to me, though. like The Declan Reiss sending off, we've we've got we've run out of time a little bit, so we'll have to whiz through this, but can they can they manage that midfield without Declan Reiss?
00:22:07
Tom Jolley
And without Martin Odegard, he's injured.
00:22:09
officialgspn
Yeah. Is it possible?
00:22:11
Tom Jolley
Declanite. Is Gabrielle going to be fit enough for this game? Their new sign of Michael Moreno is not going to start this weekend after picking up a very bad injury towards the start of his Arsenal career.
00:22:21
Tom Jolley
Arsenal riddled with injuries to the start of this 24-25 campaign. Something that is completely different to last season where they hardly picked up any injuries and that's the reason why they finished so high on the table because they had that start in 11 so rigid.
00:22:36
Tom Jolley
I think one could go either way.
00:22:36
officialgspn
What? Yeah, do you reckon Sterling will feature?
00:22:39
Tom Jolley
i think
00:22:42
Tom Jolley
Yes, I think he will. I don't think, I don't imagine him to start, but I think he will feature off the bench and the reception he's going to get from Arsenal fans will be interesting. The reception he's going to get from Spurs fans will be even more interesting, but as up it's a strange reason because from Spurs, you never know what to expect. Their frontline, I mean, Dom Excellenkey,
00:23:03
Tom Jolley
I'd expect him to get on the score sheet. Kai Havard, I'd expect him to get on the score sheet. I think this is one of those sort of classic end-to-end ones and then you're looking at this and going two-two probably.
00:23:15
officialgspn
Yeah, fair enough, and

Wolves vs. Newcastle Outlook

00:23:17
officialgspn
I do want to just because time is pressing on there, Tom. Our final fixture of the match day four takes place at the Molyneux with Gary O'Neill's Wolves seeking their first victory of the campaign as they host Newcastle United.
00:23:33
officialgspn
What were they thinking?
00:23:33
Tom Jolley
What's going on?
00:23:34
Tom Jolley
What's going on in Newcastle, Mikey? There's a lot of background noise around the the future of any how. but the I sp mean, that's always going to happen on the international break when England are playing in England and the FA is seeking a manager. But we've talked about England enough this episode.
00:23:44
officialgspn
Yeah.
00:23:47
Tom Jolley
So, I mean, you'd expect Newcastle to get three points. I'm expecting he under Alexander Isaac for me and FPL to return. I really need that because he's not
00:23:55
officialgspn
Hahaha!
00:23:57
Tom Jolley
not been a hitting his work, but Joptage, if you're listening, I am still ahead of you. So I'll leave that for our conversation later. But I think this is a weird one, isn't it? Because Wolves' squad is very, very thin. you You've got Honky Chan and Mateusz Cunha in there, who are your shining lights. That's pretty much it when it comes to quality on that front line. I know it says, couldn't you sort of drop steep, but he he is their shining light on that sort of number 10 position. How Honky Chan, he can create a Spartan on there. i mean They've got a couple youngsters in there, haven't they? But Newcastle, I think this is in a way when you'd expect it to be with the quality. Sandra Tonali back in the fold after his ban. yeah

He's played in the cup just before the international breakaway at Forest, Alexander Ryzak. I mean, that there's such so much quality. I'm just thinking, is Eddie House starting to struggle a little bit? But I think it will be the Jordys that come on top.
00:24:47
officialgspn
