every single day. All right, let's dive on in how to stop negative thoughts. So first and foremost, it's extremely important to take a hard look at yourself and observe whether most of your thoughts are negative or most of your thoughts are positive.

Origins of Negative Thinking

And the way i recommend you do this is to take a week and leave a blank piece of paper out on your desk, on your island, in your kitchen, somewhere in your home where you see throughout your day and just pause three to four times throughout your day and write down the thoughts that are going through your mind. Just free write anything that is in your mind, get it out on paper.

Do this throughout your day for about a week and you can get a clear assessment on how many of your thoughts are actually positive and negative because you may think that you're a pretty positive person. You may think that you have a positive outlook on life.

But when you take a hard look at what your thoughts actually are, you may find otherwise. You may find that a lot of your thoughts are fueled by stress and anxiety.

And that is the reason why you have negative thoughts. It's not because you want to be negative. There are a few people in this world who consciously choose and want to be negative, but most people don't want to be negative. Most people are unconsciously negative because of the programming that is in your subconscious mind, because of the programming that was given to you, gifted to you so graciously By the adult figures in your life growing up, did you see predominantly negative influences in your life or did you have predominantly positive influences

Rewiring Negative Beliefs

in your life? That is a really quick and easy way to tell if you are by nature a negative or a positive

person. Now, if you're predominantly a negative person and you tend to see the negative outlook on things, then the positive, it's okay. You can rewire it.

And that's what this whole episode is going to teach you how to do, how to stop those negative belief systems and patterns, because that is exactly what they are. They're simply patterns that have been created and have been deep rooted and programmed into your subconscious mind, into your way of being, into the way that you show up in your day to day reality.

And you can rewire it. That is the positive side of this. This is the positive outlook on it. Now, the reason why negative thoughts are so hard to break is, again, they have been rooted in your subconscious for years, maybe even for your whole entire life. They have been hardwired and programmed into you that this is how you think.

This is how you see things. And if that is how you've been programmed, then that is naturally how you are going to see the world. You're going to look at something and see the glass half full.

You are going to look at something and see the cup empty. You are going to look at things and always see it from a negative perspective before you're able to see it from a positive perspective.

Shifting to Positive Thinking

so how do you stop this how do you align with positive thinking you have to rewire the patterns in your subconscious that are causing the negative belief systems it is not enough to just start choosing random positive thoughts every day although that will make you feel better really quickly and it's not a bad thing to start doing to start choosing positive thoughts here and there But if by nature you are programmed to be a negative person, you are always going to be a negative person unless you rewire the patterning and programming around your negativity.

Where did it come from? Why is it there? Is it keeping you safe for some reason, right? All of the programming that is in your subconscious mind has a purpose to the subconscious and it's to keep you safe.

Now, a lot of times we choose negativity over positivity because it's safer. It's safer to look at the negative perspective on things because if you see the negative, you can protect yourself, right? If you look at the negative, a lot of times it probably seems like you can protect yourself.

Now, you may not even realize that's what you're doing because, again, all of this is subconscious. But being negative is a protective mechanism. That is why you are negative. That's why you're being negative. You think if you're negative, you can see the way to protect yourself for some reason because you don't feel safe in that specific scenario.

So to become a more positive person, yes, you want to start thinking positively, but that is a very surface level way to go about this.

Personal Realizations of Negativity

To actually shift from the identity of a negative person to a positive person, it takes deep subconscious reprogramming.

It means shifting your identity from negativity to positivity Now, I blew my mind a couple of years ago when I actually thought I was an extremely positive person. And I did that observation test on my thoughts that i talked to you guys about the beginning of this episode and wrote down the thoughts I was having throughout the day.

And they were predominantly negative because they were fueled by anxiety. And I was mind blown. I was mind blown. It doesn't mean I wasn't a positive person, but my thoughts were predominantly fueled by fear and anxiety, fueled by stress.

And when that is the case, your energy is going to feel negative, whether you identify as a positive person or not. So if you have a lot of negative thoughts, your energy is going to feel negative to people in your life.

And this is from, again, anxiety, stress, and fear. So it's really important that you take the time to observe your thoughts for a week and really get a clear look at what those thoughts

Rewriting Negative Thoughts

are. What are the primary thoughts that you are thinking all day, every day?

that is a really important first step to this because if you don't know if you are thinking predominantly negative or you're thinking predominantly positive if you don't know if there's fear anxiety or stress fueling your thoughts it's really hard to get started on shifting your identity and really aligning with the energy of a positive person if you have no idea what's actually going on in your mind you need to get really clear as to what is going on in your mind so that you can shift it so that you can rewire it and you can align with this new identity of being positive of thinking positive because the thoughts you think are the result of patterning and programming it's repetition it's the same type of thought being repeated over and over again that is how you receive the programming that you have

So again, coming back to the beginning of this, if you were around someone who is extremely negative, parent, an adult figure growing up who is negative all of the time, that's repetition, negativity, negativity, negativity for years and years.

And you pick that up unless you choose to shift it and change it, which is why you are likely listening to this episode. But that repetition of negativity is what creates a negative identity, which is what creates negative energy.

So again, to rewire it, we need to first get really clear what are the predominant thoughts that I'm thinking. Are they negative? Are they positive? From there, you can choose to rewrite those thoughts.

Now look at the thoughts and rewrite them into the positive. And when you rewrite them into the positive, you want to rewrite them in the way you actually want to think, right? Do I believe it's not possible for me to achieve 10K months in my new business? so Do I actually believe that? Ask yourself, do I actually believe it's not possible for me to start a business?

The answer is likely no. Your thoughts are telling you it's not possible, but do you actually believe that? Because when you question the thoughts that you're thinking, that's when you take your power back over your thoughts.

So that's the second piece of this. You want to then assess all of the thoughts and question them. Do I actually believe that? Is that actually true for me?

right And when you do this, you are taking your power back over the programming that was given to you and you are choosing new programming for yourself. You are saying, actually, no, that is not the thought I want to have.

This is the thought I want to have. This is the belief I want to have. This is the pattern and action i want to take from that thought because that's what happens when you have a negative thought that the patterns and actions that come from that are also negative.

When you have a positive thought, the pattern and action that comes from that is positive, enhances your life. When you have a negative thought, it subtracts from your energy fields.

You have a positive thought. Again, it adds to your energy field.

Conscious Reframing of Thoughts

So to stop your negative thoughts, you need to first become extremely aware of what thoughts are actually flowing through your mind.

Now, you can't do this without conscious, intentional effort because life is constantly moving. You're extremely busy. There is so much going on. There's stress. There's anxiety. There's things happening all around you So to just think you're going to observe your thoughts in your normal conscious waking state is not realistic.

You need to make a conscious intentional effort to actually do this. That's why I suggested leaving a notebook out on your countertop, in your kitchen, at your desk, at your workspace, wherever you are for most of your day.

and just taking put an alarm in your phone and take 30 seconds to just write down the thoughts that you've been thinking throughout the day. And then you question them. Do I actually believe this?

And you rewrite that thought. What is the positive thought I want to think instead? So you are reframing and rewiring in that very moment. That's how you catch thoughts on the spot and rewire them.

Identity Shift through Reprogramming

Now to shift from a negative identity into a positive one so that you predominantly think positively all of the time and don't have to write things on paper all day and rewire and rewrite throughout your day, is comes from deep subconscious reprogramming this is identity shifting this is shifting your identity from negativity from stress from anxiety into positivity into flow into self-trust into intuition so to really stop your negative thinking and align with positive thinking you won again

You need to assess your thoughts, go through your thoughts, understand what's going on in your mind. Then from there, you must rewire your identity from a negative identity, from a stressed identity, from an anxious identity into a positive, self-trusting, intuitive identity.

Someone who trusts yourself, someone who trusts life. Because when you trust yourself, when you trust life, you're going to naturally think more positively. So one of the best ways to rewire and actually shift your identity is through hypnosis because you're able to deeply access your subconscious mind on the deepest level and rewire and reprogram your identity into the identity that you actually want to embody.

And when you rewire your identity into the identity that you want to embody, that is how you manifest that identity. That is how you become and be that identity.

It's starting at the subconscious level first. You have to get to the subconscious and rewire and reprogram the identity that is hardwired in there and choose a new one. Choose that new identity.

And when you choose that new identity, again, that is when you become that new identity. So to stop your negative thoughts, It starts with getting really clear and aware around what thoughts are floating through your mind all day, every day.

Write them down and then question them. Question them. Do I accept this thought? Is this actually what I believe? If it is not what you believe, rewrite it into what you actually want to believe, the thought you actually want to have, because your thoughts are what determine your actions.

Your thoughts are what determine your energy and the way that you are showing up in your business, in your relationships, in everything you do in your life. It starts with the power of your thought.

So by taking your power back over your thoughts, you are taking power back over your life in an extremely powerful way. So get really clear on your thoughts, question them, rewrite them, and then align with this new identity of a positive person, of a person who trusts the universe, who trusts yourself, who trusts your intuition,

Because if you trust yourself and you trust the universe and you trust your intuition, you will not have stress, anxiety, and fear. You won't. When you trust yourself, when you trust your universe, and you trust your intuition, there is no way stress, anxiety, and fear can control you.

And this starts, again, with really aligning with this new identity, this identity of a person who trusts themselves, who trusts the universe, who relaxes into life in a really deeply profound way.

What does it mean to relax into life? You go with the flow. You know that no matter what comes your way, you're going to handle it. You don't try to control things.

You take things as they come. When hardships come up, you say, what can I do to handle this? You don't melt down and have a panic attack. And if that's what you're doing right now, it's okay.

Don't beat yourself up. It's okay. This is your starting point. But when you really relax into life, you know how to handle anything that comes your way. There is no level of stress, fear, or anxiety that can dictate the way you feel.

You are in control. You are in charge of yourself. And when you are in charge of your thoughts, of your actions, of everything around you, you are in charge of your life experience.

And that's the beauty of this. You get to choose. And the moment you wake up to that and claim that reality is the moment everything is going to shift and change for you.

So to stop negative thoughts, you have to get really clear on what those thoughts are Question them, ah see if you accept them or reject them, then rewrite them.

And then you need to reprogram your identity as someone who trusts life, as someone who is positive, someone who is relaxing into their life, going with the flow, trusting their intuition, trusting what comes your way, even if it's challenging.

You become someone who is positive and trusts life. You begin to see things through new eyes. And that's the reality that is available to you here when you claim this new identity, this new positive identity of self.

So that is how you begin the process of stopping negative thoughts.

Daily Practices for Rewiring

Now, this is a process, it is not going to happen for you overnight. You need to continue to do this work every single day.

And rewiring your identity at the subconscious level through hypnosis is going to help speed up the process because when you change your identity at the subconscious level, that's when things can happen really fast.

So you can start with the first part of this by getting clear on your thoughts and rewiring those thoughts. But if you really want to shift your identity, which is how you actually stop negative thoughts and become a positive person, not just start positive thinking, because of the difference between that.

There is a difference between becoming a positive person and just having some positive thoughts. If you really want to stop your negative thinking, you have to become a positive person. And you can do that through claiming this new identity, rewiring into a positive identity, into a trusting identity, into a relaxed identity.
