Well, we we kicked on initially, didn't we? And then it sort of fell apart a bit. And then being on the beach is always difficult. i think it's one where... Results don't matter, performances drop, but I think the key is away from him, we look really sh strong.

I think defensively, we've got the same level that Dyche had, but going forward, we've clicked into a different level. you look at the the way we play football, look, Forrest, the goal there, that comes from throwing three or four bodies further forward.

I think at the time, as I said i settled the pod, I always felt D'Arche should keep us out. Not necessarily because he's a good manager, but just because of how poor the three teams below us were. And that's how it's proven out to me. If you look at how poor they've been.

ah But I think it's it's more, more he's coming in, gives us that stability for the start of the freaking group. Obviously at the time, we didn't know where that was at that point. Gives stability into new ground. And then three to five years' time, we can go ahead and bring in a more progressive manager, maybe. Maybe someone with a better recruitment strategy.

I think the thing Daish always comes across really poorly for from a media ah perspective. you know I remember the first thing he had with the club, was saying he's a custodian of the club and and he's aware that he wasn't going to be there for a huge amount of time.

That's the way it's turned out. i think the football doesn't agree with Evertonian's mindset. i think that's a fair enough. i I don't think he plays the Everton way. i think he did a good job while he was there, but I think that time came to an end.

ah Deutch is a firefighter manager. That is just factual. That is what he's good at doing. and Could he lead a championship side? Yes, probably. you look at someone like Chris Wilde, who's done it down at Sheffield United. So I definitely could see him at maybe a Leicester if he doesn't kick on De Rude.

and If he wants to change the firefighter model, then he needs change his brand of football. You know, stop lumping it up with no other plan. Stop putting set of halves up front for 10 minutes to go. And you might lose that that that notion. And I think, you know, to be a firefighter manager with a fairly limited CV, I think he's done pretty well out of everything, actually.

would you say is the difference between that Dice plays and the way that Moyes plays? Because he's got the same group of players but there can't be that much difference between the 11 that goes out on the field.

Yeah, i mean, look, I think there's the similarities in terms of we're still quite stubborn defensively. um But i think the key is you look at what we do on the ball. We never played out from the back under Daish. And I don't think Moyes does too much, but there's still that semblance of building it through the thirds, whereas Daish is essentially kick and run.

and And that means if you don't win the percentages, you don't win the games. With Moyes, you do see the semblance of, okay, defenders have a bit of it, midfield do, and you go long when you need to.

With Deich, it was very much plan A, nothing else. With Moyes, we'll sometimes go long, sometimes we'll go short. And I think being a bit more adaptable and playing a bit more in the modern way has helped us.

You know, the team that we had growing up was brilliant. that the The West Ham team at times was fantastic. ah And I think i think he we will be able to deliver us from Dyj team, Benitez team, that was very defensive to one that I think can challenge up the table.

But you cannot get away from what it was towards the end. The Brentford 0-0, where we parked the bus against 10 men Brentford for no reason at home, or the Bournemouth away game, where we have no game plan other than to time waste and launch it long.

And that lies on Deich. Deich setting up a team with no intention to attack, right? I think with Moyes, there's a different mentality. Whereas, as you were at the Forest game, you know, we're still throwing three or four bodies on later on.
