Speaker: What do you call an underground group of solar professionals on a mission to create a more sustainable world?
Speaker: We call ourselves solopreneurs.
Speaker: And while some might call us crazy, foolish, and dissatisfied with the status quo, we're the ones taking action to create a better future for ourselves and the world.
Speaker: Solopreneur is dedicated to give you, the solar professional, the tools, skills, technology, and mentorship to take the industry by storm and sell more solar with less effort.
Speaker: We are solopreneurs and this is our story.
Speaker: I want to give you a five step process on how to master it just like in the selling one.
Speaker: Okay, and I've got the list here.
Speaker: So you have to excuse me if I take a nose dive over here so I can remember.
Speaker: All right, so number one is you got to understand and study the sales greats.
Speaker: Again, the marketing greats.
Speaker: Go and find other people who are dominating in marketing.
Speaker: And this doesn't have to be in solar and honestly, it shouldn't be in solar because there's only a handful of individuals that are doing this well in the industry.
Speaker: You gotta look outside, you gotta look in real estate, gotta go look at what internet marketing gurus are doing.
Speaker: Learn, master, imitate and innovate, remember.
Speaker: Number two is to master sales in psychology, okay?
Speaker: Make sure you understand selling, make sure you understand your buyer, make sure you understand human psychology and what makes people
Speaker: actually move.
Speaker: Number three, extract those principles and what makes a specific principle work.
Speaker: Don't just copy somebody's headline.
Speaker: Too many people do this.
Speaker: They go copy the exact headline, the exact paragraph that they use, the exact call to action, and they don't change a thing about it.
Speaker: Super amateur rookie mistake.
Speaker: And it's easy because, and it's obvious too, because everybody's using the same headlines, right?
Speaker: You don't go and just copy the same headline.
Speaker: You copy the principle of why that headline works.
Speaker: Why did he say this?
Speaker: Why did he choose this word over this word?
Speaker: Why did he place this paragraph here, right?
Speaker: Understand the principles and copy and imitate those, okay?
Speaker: Because then you can put your own personality and spin on it and develop your own brand so you sound different from the competition.
Speaker: number four is to innovate with your own stories right piecing them together and creating original work and the easiest way to do this is study a crap ton of people if you go study five ten fifteen marketers every single month you take one piece from each one that you like okay you look at that principle you extract that principle you put it all together and create your own thing and test it in the marketplace it's going to be an original new piece of work okay
Speaker: Art is simply just copying people and imitating it, right?
Speaker: And then innovating off of it, okay?
Speaker: Nobody comes up with anything original.
Speaker: We just copy the principles.
Speaker: We take things that we like, put them together in a sandbox.
Speaker: Boom, we have something new, right?
Speaker: This is how art is done.
Speaker: This is how copywriting, which is one of the finest arts out there.
Speaker: This is how you make a dent in the solar industry.
Speaker: And then number five is you got to build up your repertoire of marketing language and
Speaker: The only way that you could do this is you gotta go listen to other people.
Speaker: You gotta go see what they're doing.
Speaker: You gotta invest in knowledge.
Speaker: You gotta copy.
Speaker: You gotta see what they're doing, okay?
Speaker: Makes learning marketing a regular thing.
Speaker: Just like I said in the sales video, if you're a marketer right now, an internet marketer, or you're doing marketing for your solar company, you need to be studying your craft hours every single day.
Speaker: You need to be studying copying headlines, writing new headlines, writing new emails and sales letters, writing new social media posts.
Speaker: You need to be doing this every single day to master your craft.
Speaker: Guys, that is it for today's video.
Speaker: the language of marketing, the language of sales.
Speaker: Hope you guys actually apply this stuff.
Speaker: I know very few people will actually go and apply it because this stuff is difficult.
Speaker: This is a lot of work.
Speaker: This is grueling work and you need to know if you actually want to do this, okay?
Speaker: Because to become a great marketer, not a mediocre crappy one, to be a great marketer that is capable of making a nine-figure solar company grow, right?
