Introduction and NFL Free Agency Tease
00:00:16
Speaker
Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome back. Welcome back to another episode of the Bush League Huddle Fantasy Football Podcast. How's everybody doing? We are. we're We're right into it, man. This is we got we got such a wonderful episode scheduled for you guys today, especially considering that, you know, it's a new new league years right around the corner. And with that comes a lot of free agency.
00:00:36
Speaker
ah hoopla and and frenzy and some crazy, crazy stuff that's going to happen. Like every single year, I feel like the NFL lately has turned into a little bit of the NBA when it comes to free agency. Like players really just fly around everywhere and everybody gets their bag out of like for whatever reason, even though they don't necessarily deserve it. And speaking of bag, we're going to talk about this a little bit more, but like the the cap keeps on going up exponentially every single year. So there's just more money to be thrown around. And all of a sudden, you know, the the We talked about last episode, too. A lot of quarterbacks that have big cap considerations are being cut regardless of how much dead money they have. So what does that tell you? That nothing is guaranteed, even the money that you're supposed to expect for that. But nothing is guaranteed in the NFL.
Impact of NFL Salary Cap on Free Agency
00:01:20
Speaker
That's for not for long for a reason. But before we jump into that, guys. Great episode for you. We're recapping a lot of free agency stuff this week. We got a run we got running back free agents, wide receiver free agents, wide receiver trade and cut market, which I think is be very interesting. Now going to sprinkle in some tight ends too, because why not? But before we jump into that, guys, my name is Fab. That's s Nag. That's Raj. We're here on the Bush League.

Speaker
And before we really dive into anything else, want to thank all of our loyal listeners for for sticking around for all this time. You know, if 2024 was the year the running back, I think 2026 might be the wide receiver and all that Kiesa comes with it.
00:02:12
Speaker
And, you know, just want to understand how this offseason is going to play out.
Running Back Market and Trades
00:02:16
Speaker
I think it's simple. Like I mentioned before, the salary cap has exploded. Now everyone wants to get paid all at the same time. The salary cap for 2026 is $303 million. Jesus. Just to put things into context, because I was doing a little bit of research, because it keeps on getting, it goes so high every single year. keeps on going up and going up and going up.
00:02:35
Speaker
In 2021, the cap was $182 million. 2021? That's five years ago. the the new league league that ah Did the new TV deals kick in yet?
00:02:46
Speaker
ah Well, that was right at the heels of COVID, so probably not. And I know that year in 2021 was the first year ever, I think, that the cap actually dropped from 2020 to 2021. It dropped from down to which to do with,
00:03:04
Speaker
assuming COVID and and and the lack of revenue. Yeah. But even that, let's say we take it to 2020. It was 198 million. It's crazy. And now we're at 301. There's going to be has me a $400 million dollar cap at some point. Yeah. It's going to be half a billion in five years this rate. When it's $400 million, there's going to be a quarterback making $100 million dollars a year.
00:03:25
Speaker
And that's what... You know how... More teams. Yeah. It's also going to be more teams at some point. There's going to be two more teams. For sure. For One of them in Europe. and ah Do you know how much the franchise tag is projected for next year for quarterbacks?
00:03:38
Speaker
This year, it's $44 million, yeah which is bonkers, but fine. you know how much is projected for next year, the franchise tag? must say fifty two It's north of million. the year before? Yep.
00:03:52
Speaker
fifty seven million dollars makes sense yeah up the top top five right top five of the year before Yeah, it does. Yeah, because the guys are just getting paid boatloads of money to do the job they're supposed to be doing, which is great.
00:04:08
Speaker
Anyways, that's just, it's crazy to me. Those numbers, they seem like nothing on paper, but there's, it's so much money. It's so much money. So the cap is 303 million this year. Why receivers are about to get overpaid? Like we just said, because they're there, there's really aren't enough of them. I mean, the the list of why receivers are pretty interesting. Let's be honest with you, but there's not a whole lot of like high end quality. and we're going to get to that later on the episode too.
00:04:29
Speaker
And running backs seem to have some value again, which is nice to see. There was a warning back trade that happened today, actually. David Montgomery was traded to the Houston Texans, which I think is a fantastic trade for them.
00:04:40
Speaker
For a fourth, a seventh, and offensive lineman Juice Scruggs are going the other way to Detroit. It's a great move, honestly, for both teams, in my opinion. Jameer Gibbs being what he is, David Montgomery is going see less and less of the field.
00:04:53
Speaker
And you've got to love this opportunity for for Montgomery agree to be the the lead back, you would assume, right away in Houston. Yeah, it a bit of a disaster last year with Joe Mixon injury. Woody Marks was okay. um But I think he becomes the clear number one back for sure.
00:05:11
Speaker
yeah And the last time they did that when they they brought in um Joe Mixon the first year right away, 1,000 yards. Casario does this a lot. and Brings in these backs that no one likes that are still like in their prime.
00:05:25
Speaker
and it means he missed He missed last year with Chubb, but Especially from a fantasy perspective. like Typically, those are like Mixon. No one's ever really liked him. Montgomery is always lay off like, ah. Everyone thought Mixon was done when he yeah when he went there, right? And thousand-yard season. So i'm big things for David Montgomery for sure.
00:05:44
Speaker
And you got to love it. So with that being said, this is a great transition. We're going to, we're going to really start right where the real money drama is. We're going to roll into the running backs right now. The first big storyline is Brees Hall. um Free Brees Hall.
00:05:56
Speaker
Yeah. Free Brees Hall. don't think it's going to happen actually. So I just reading on, on Twitter, Rich Chimini, friend of the podcast, Rich Chimini. He just tweeted that that he probably is. He doesn't know who he is, but he probably is. Paisana, the podcast, thank you. 24 hours out from the tag deadline. If the Jets can't get a deal done, they'll use a transition tag, which is 11.3 million, or the franchise tag, 14.3, probably the former.
00:06:20
Speaker
But the two sides might reach a deal, though, and would be about $13 million dollars a year, which would be fifth highest AAV among running backs. So there is a chance that they do sign Brees Hall to a deal.
00:06:32
Speaker
But if not, it looks like he's going to get tagged no matter what.
Jets' Roster Challenges and Quarterback Needs
00:06:35
Speaker
My only thing is that, like, well why? Why are you tagging him or signing him? Like, I know Brees Hall is a great player. I'm not disputing that at all.
00:06:42
Speaker
But you're the Jets right now. You're a dumpster fire. Get assets. Trade this guy to a team that needs running backs. And we've seen a lot of them that are out there. You can go either A with that, and I get i get it. But I'm looking from my point of view. They need a quarterback.
00:06:56
Speaker
They only have a stud wide receiver. Great running back. And it's not if they're quarterback away from really competing.
00:07:04
Speaker
It's weird to me. The trade is there's no, like he's a free agent, right? So they they can't really trade him. um I don't know. It's it's it's a tough tough question to ask, but like they have no one on that team, right? like There's no stars. There's no nothing. A.D.
00:07:22
Speaker
eighty Mitchell season? Okay. I mean, if we're going to put him in the same conversation, but I mean, I'm just saying, for the Jets, they need to retain someone. They got rid of so much, like,
00:07:36
Speaker
they're not in cap trouble, right? Like, no, there's going to be, there's, there's, there's fields who they're going to be releasing. So now you have, um, Garrett Wilson, who's there and no one else. Like, I don't think it's, it if I'm Brees Hall, I don't know why I'm resigning there, but maybe he's just, well, look, you're, you're stuck. If they're going franchise tag you, you're going to play on a one-year deal, or you're going to try to get all the money you can from them as much as possible. Like for him, doesn't make sense to take the tag.
00:08:06
Speaker
i i think it's a new GM Darren Mugi. think he came on at the same time as Aaron Glenn. So they might be tight at the hip. And as we mentioned last week, Aaron Glenn, his entire staff was fired.
00:08:20
Speaker
He was retained. He kind of has to win this year. And, you know, if Mugi is, um you know, kind of tethered at the hip to to Aaron Glenn, he probably has to, you know, win at least seven, eight games.
Kenneth Walker III's Potential Teams
00:08:34
Speaker
So to to that point, you know, they probably will retain Brees Hall. I mean, it depends. Let's see what they do at quarterback. But i mean, they have a Dolphins line. Membu was pretty good last year from like advanced metrics and like kind of like the O-line tape gurus.
00:08:50
Speaker
so they they do have some stuff to work with they have the the you know the multiple first round picks as well but i agree with you guys it's it's it's weird it's just you're you're not a breeze haul away from winning
00:09:03
Speaker
unless they sign him to a long year deal, like to a multi-year deal, like four five years. I don't, I don't like it. anyways, it's, it's, it's a frustrating scenario. If I have to like they interject one last word here, but if they do tag him, there's still chance they could trade him and then get assets. So that's what the the tag is there because they could rescind it and then trade him. Yeah. But this is how they keep control of the player beyond or the free agency. Cause if he hits free agency, then he he's gone for sure I'm sure they want to sign him. like Just following the the tweet from Rich Cimini, I'm sure they want to sign him to a deal that makes sense.
00:09:39
Speaker
And $13 million dollars average per year is is good, in my opinion, for Brie Sol. The guy's talented. And it fits fairly well within the within the other running backs out there. but Just quickly, like and do we all agree we from a fantasy perspective, it's the Chiefs? We'd like to see if he does get tight. 100%. 100%. fantasy is million percent, yeah.
00:10:02
Speaker
And speaking actually, well, this is a great segue. Speaking of fantasy. So Kenneth Walker, we're going to jump right into the NFL Super Bowl MVP. Kenneth Walker, the third, the third Kenneth Walker. Super Bowl MVP with 135 yards, a bunch of touchdowns. He killed in the playoffs. 1,300 scrimmage yards. 25 years old. Still super young.
00:10:20
Speaker
Not tagged due to GSN extension priorities, most likely. And he's been heavy, heavy rumored to be signing with the New York Giants recently, which is fancy perspective. I don't really know how I feel about that, to be honest with you.
00:10:34
Speaker
um But. There are a lot of nice fits for Kenneth Walker. i get Most likely he should, I feel like it makes sense for him to stick with Seattle. i don't I don't know what the offer is going to be. i don't know what the cap situation is for them right now.
00:10:50
Speaker
Obviously the Texans don't need you running back anymore. Saints are interesting. The Chiefs are obviously interesting. And the Jaguars could be interesting because Travis Etienne, who's our next candidate we're going to talk about later, could be on his way out as well.
00:11:05
Speaker
So it's it's Kenneth Walker. And in general, the RB market, I find, is a little bit funny this year.
00:11:15
Speaker
and so so like seattle has 60 million in the cap so i think it's less maybe like the i think the json portion probably
Travis Etienne and Jacksonville's Cap Concerns
00:11:24
Speaker
has something to do with it i think there's it's zach charbonnet there's this uh george uh helani um running back that they drafted last year where i know they were high on during camp and as much as you know we loved what we saw from kw3 he's He's very boomer bust. Um, we was very boom during the year. Uh, and then, you know, obviously during the playoffs, it was, uh, was very buzzer and theyll way more boom during the playoffs in terms of like the type of play teams I'd like to see him on the Texans make a lot of sense. Like anywhere there, where there's zone read, uh, uh, uh, outside zone, you know, where we could cut uses cutback ability. So like Texans, obviously with Montgomery, it's not an option anymore. um but like Saints could be interesting, Chiefs, obviously. i would like it with the Giants because like five we spoke privately, I just i don't think Harbaugh sold on on Scat and Tracy. Oh, no. And I think this proves it, to be honest with you. It's...
00:12:22
Speaker
Scat and Tracy were drafted in fourth fourth round or or later. Scat had a bad injury in his rookie year. Kenneth Walker is a proven commodity. it comes It's that simple in my opinion. i just it' like the Giants.
00:12:36
Speaker
Yeah, that's it. He'd fit in well because it's another injury prone player. for I would like the diet for the the Giants. But I think the issue here is um they also want to resign Shahid.
00:12:48
Speaker
So I think it's going to be like... like JSN obviously is going to get an extension, right? But I think they have to choose between Shahid and Walker and very interesting situation because Charbonnet tours ACL late in the season, right? Or in the play at first playoff game. So he's missing the majority, if not most of next season as well, which is another kind of ripple.
00:13:10
Speaker
Um, I think Seattle is going to try to do everything they can to hang on to it. But again, another player that the chiefs need a running back and probably another player
Running Back Market Dynamics
00:13:19
Speaker
that they're going to, it just hasn't felt that way. I don't know. Like all the rumors have been and what, what, how it might seem versus how it's portrayed versus what they feel in the building might be different, but and all the rumors have been about, doesn't seem like he's going to resign. There was like some weird situation with him and John Snyder, I think, during the parade. So I think it makes the most sense. I do i agree with you, Nak, but I feel like there's so some smoke where... And and this is another so this is another situation where he has had up and down seasons, right? You mentioned it. He didn't play all that great all year, and he just was a Super Bowl MVP. What do you think him and his agent are talking about?
00:13:58
Speaker
Let's go for that payday. Oh, they're getting paid they're paid. You're going for that last payday, and Seattle might not be willing to pay what other teams are are willing to pay because they know the history. They know you've been injured. You know you've you've missed time. You know you've been inconsistent as well.
00:14:14
Speaker
So Super Bowl MVP or not, Seattle has the most homework on him, and you know they know the price that they're willing to to go to, and they're not going to surpass it. And there's there's quite a few teams that have a lot of cap space that could use a running back, like or even the Tennessee Titans, right? Like that backfield a little bit of a mess. We don't know what the situation is over there. So there's a lot of movement, I think, and and more shaking that's going to happen.
00:14:37
Speaker
And one of those guys, unfortunately, is going to be Travis Etienne, it looks like, which this I'm not a fan of, to be honest with you. I would prefer he's resigned and stays with Jacksonville just because I feel like he he's he's come on quite well in the last few years.
00:14:50
Speaker
um You know, thought he has a third thousand yard rushing season in four years, six receiving touchdowns last year. Super durable considering, you know, the running back market, is seeing what it is.
00:15:01
Speaker
Age 27, still in his prime. um And
00:15:07
Speaker
Obviously, the Jags did draft some replacements in 2025, so maybe that's why the market is out on Travis Etienne. But um yeah and I don't know. like This kind of frustrates me, to be honest with you. like it ah and and There could also be another one where this guy can go to the Chiefs or the Bucs, for example, and just turn it off turn turn it up over there as well. like it This is very weird to me.
00:15:27
Speaker
This is very, very weird. Yeah, i wasn't I wasn't enamored with Rochelle Tootin. like he had a few yeah He had a few good games, and then they traded Tank Bixby midseason. so this This is a weird one, too, where I felt even during... i don't know about you guys, but I felt during the season, there was rumors about how like this was Travis Etienne's last year in Jacksonville. It felt like something was brewing on
Analyzing Free Agent Wide Receivers
00:15:50
Speaker
ah along that front, but...
00:15:52
Speaker
um it It feels like all the same teams need running back help. And to be quite frank, I don't think this kind of moves, removes the Texans from getting another running back because because not of this cali not of this caliber, but high too high. There's a lot of yeah guys. There are a lot of depth guys that are free agents that can also be added at very cheap.
00:16:14
Speaker
Like just quickly, they're still kind of gain. Well, Tyler Algier, Rashad White, Brian Robinson. jk da Can I say Algier? a lot of pods I heard he would be amazing with Derrick Henry.
00:16:25
Speaker
And like ah like one more year, maybe Derrick Henry, and he becomes that like battering ram type of... he is an amazing runner. like I'm very, very excited to see him on his own team. hey steve I'm excited to see him on his own team too. I'm also excited to see him off of Atlanta, quite frankly, just so that Bijan can really turn off.
00:16:43
Speaker
Yeah, the problem with was Jacksonville is because they're... they they're right now they're $16 million dollars over the cap. Yeah. So that's another situation where can they afford to pay a running back that high?
00:16:56
Speaker
yeah obviously you're not putting too many years on it. So your cap hit remains pretty, you know, pretty significant. So if they don't make any other moves, that's probably, you know, that's the running back is usually a casualty that, that kind of, you know, you could draft one, right? Like you could always draft another one, uh, for really, really cheap. So,
00:17:15
Speaker
Well, funny you say that they don't have a first round pick this year. So I guess we save a little bit of money from that sense, because they won't have to sign player in the first round. That's a good point. Uh, not actually, think they have the Trayvon Walker extension coming, coming soon. It's gonna be UFA, uh, next year.
00:17:31
Speaker
So they're, they're probably have some, some guys do is that where they, they want to save some money on that front. Yeah. And look, you can get running backs late. Yeah. Third, fourth, fifth round running backs that are, that are fine. You know, that you can slot in.
00:17:47
Speaker
One last guy i do want to touch on quickly. Rico Dowdle. Like this man deserves a starting gig somewhere. I feel like, you know, I don't know. Like he turned it on for Carolina. He made things very difficult for Chuba Hubbard owners.
00:18:02
Speaker
I don't know. They give this guy a starting spot. I'm sure it won't be that expensive compared to the first three guys that we mentioned. And you can sell off at the ah end of last year. There's quality there at the right price. I don't know. I'd be interested to see where he goes and what he can do in a committee. I like him more.
00:18:21
Speaker
Yeah, the 1A to the 1B. You know what i mean? I would like that. I mean, Aaron Jones ah is supposed to be a cap casualty too, from what I've been hearing. so they're in jail Aaron Jones. i've I've heard DeAndre Swift for the bear for the Bears. He was good for the Bears, man. He was good, but like Mononga is very good. Yeah, Mononga, yeah. Seventh-round pick. See, like you can get these these running backs late. Seventh-round pick, this guy. Yeah, I mean. I'm curious. I'm curious what happens if with Kamara. Does he maybe just retire or he sounds like a one, and like one team type of guy.
00:18:54
Speaker
one nice guy Like, so does he retire? Does he try to go for a Superbowl ring? Will be interesting to see. And she said, you know, it's be interesting to see, uh, the wide receiver market. So Raj, I want you just to just take us into that it's top free agent wide receivers.
00:19:07
Speaker
Yeah, top whip for Asian wide receivers. So I would say the tier one market for wide receivers, it's more of a WR two market, but there's still some really interesting guys. I think everyone would agree that it is led by Mr. Alec Pierce. So he's a UFA with the Colts 1000 yards, six touchdowns. He led the NFL in yards per reception for two straight years at 21 and 22 yards per reception, 24 catches of 20 plus yards. That was in the top three. 25 years old, I think the market for him is at around 25 to 20 to to million.
00:19:41
Speaker
i From what I've been seeing, the Colts definitely want to retain him. There's the Patriots. There's your Steelers knack. I've seen the Commanders. The Chiefs could be interesting if they want to go back to kind of a a deep shot ah offense with more speed. I think the interesting thing to note with mike with Alec Pierce is that Michael Pittman, if they do choose to keep Alec Pierce, Michael Pittman has had potential out in 2026 that would result in a $5 million dead cap hit.
00:20:09
Speaker
And Michael Pittman had somewhat of a shaky year. It felt like he gained more chemistry with Alec Pierce. So that could add another interesting wide receiver to to the to the mix ah potentially there. But for me, I think, sorry, and another one I forgot, the Titans. The Titans are like, you're going to hear the Titans for every wide receiver they need. yeah that's ah That's the one that I think would make make a lot of sense, actually. what you guys think.
00:20:34
Speaker
What's going to be interesting because they're trying to get a deal done with Daniel Jones, right? And they were originally going to tag Pierce to make sure that they had him and then work on a long-term deal. But now they might have to pivot and tag Daniel Jones yeah and now have to deal with Pierce before the the deadline. So this is definitely a name to watch. And he's definitely 100% the hottest free agent wide receiver on the board.
00:21:01
Speaker
I don't think he's leaving it in Indianapolis, though. I think he's getting tagged or he's getting signing a deal. I don't think he's walking out that door. I think this is it's funny that Daniel Jones is another scenario where it's like him and another player on the team have to get either a and they either have to get tagged or or get a signed contract.
00:21:17
Speaker
They're just like would say one like a few years ago. Yeah. yeah and and i i actually really think pitman would be gone because like do you you really need pierce pitman and josh downs you still have time they can't afford it they can't afford it it's an embarrassment of riches at wide receivers so i i think uh i i agree i think it's probably colts but titans would be very interesting there uh as well We'll move on to Mr. Juwan Jennings, third and Juwan. So nine touchdowns in 2025. He's going to be UFA, 18 contested catches, 15 TDs in last 30 games. He's been a bit of TD go-getter. 20 age 28 years old probably in that maybe 18 to 20 million dollar range i think he's a mid-tier wr2 if i had to say it'll be interesting to see if again the san francisco 49ers try to retain him otherwise i've seen potential fits with the panthers who could use maybe another ball winning wide receiver Very good blockers where he'd fit well with the Seattle Seahawks. I've seen Vegas as well.
00:22:25
Speaker
The Patriots as well. There's some some interesting stuff with Stephon Diggs think he started unfollowing. It's it's unfollow ah your team season, basically.
Wide Receiver Free Agency Deep Dive
00:22:35
Speaker
These guys are so challenges. It's unfollow your team season. um This is an interesting one. i think Jawan has come a long way since kind of that Brendan Ayuk season where you know he was injured. um If I look at the San Francisco Niners, their cap situation is They have about $22 million dollars in cap space, but you know you expect Ricky Bursall to hopefully start going. there There's not much there after that. If you if you think about it, Kendrick Bourne came on. um
00:23:07
Speaker
they They might actually either need to resign him or think about drafting a wide receiver because that that that team is is a lack of depth. for sure There's rumors of Deebo Samuel going back. Yeah, I saw that.
00:23:20
Speaker
I saw that. oh I saw that. That doesn't entice me, though. That's exactly exactly the reaction Fab had. Yeah, no. Two injury-prone wide receivers. That sounds like a lot of fun. And I like Ricky Persol. I just think I can't stay on the field. I agree, Raj. I think the Niners should do whatever they get well whatever they can. I think they should try to sign Juan and sign him for three, four years. Like, just back back-end the pay as much as possible. He's...
00:23:45
Speaker
I feel like he's more a little bit late bloomer when it comes to wide receivers. Like he came on very, very good later on in his, in his career. And I think there's still some meat on the bone over there. I've always liked Juwan Jennings. I think he plays really well. He plays super hard.
00:23:56
Speaker
um But I agree. like It's going to be a tough market for the Niners to get in with Juwan Jennings. And I see him potentially being ah a fit for the Patriots. He goes to the Bills. I feel the Bills are wide receiver right now. And Juwan would be a very nice fit over there as well, too. And and more realistic than Alex Pierce.
00:24:16
Speaker
uh for reasons that we just said yeah but i i would prefer but if i'm a niners fan i would prefer to keep juan jennings for sure
00:24:26
Speaker
Yeah, totally. um We'll move on to the next one. Wandel Robinson's another UFA. 92 catches, really solid season, just a little over a thousand yards, actually back to back 140 target seasons. um Only nine career touchdowns. It's kind of the knock on him. He doesn't really get into the end zone, but age 25, very young player.
00:24:46
Speaker
I think we saw an evolution from him this year where it was more downfield routes, which is in the previous seasons, it's been more like, you know underneath stuff. So I think he's able to show a downfield prowess for sure.
00:24:57
Speaker
um Potential fits again, you're going to see the Titans a lot. ah The Patriots going see a lot as well. I think the Browns could be an interesting one in kind of that Todd Monken type of like more of a downfield passing attack. Commanders would be one too, where they really only have Terry McLaurin. And um obviously the Giants fab. Do you think that it would make sense for the Giants to kind of either bring back Wandale or should they go drafting ah one of the the top rookie wide receivers? what do you think?
00:25:28
Speaker
I think I would like to keep Wandale. I think there's other pressing needs on the Giants offense and specifically the offensive line. And I think a lot of it depends on which domino falls first. They probably want to keep him. Of course they do. They drafted him. He played really well with Malik Nevers being out for the season. But the guy's 5'8", like 160 pounds.
00:25:47
Speaker
like There's also reality where he might have peaked this year when he was the focal point of a very bad offense. ah He could be a very good number two, but he's always going to be a slot receiver. So then it's like, how much do you want to pay slot receivers?
00:26:02
Speaker
It can't be necessarily the going rate that you have for a lot of wide receivers who play out on the outside. And I think that's a knock on him, quite frankly. So I can see a future where Wandel does not resign with the Giants because he thinks he deserves more. And by all accounts, like, go get your bag. I'm all for it.
00:26:18
Speaker
And I hope he does if it's not with us. um But I can see him. I like the Browns and I like the Commanders. commanders cause at least Terry McLaurin's on the outside. So there's that that established, you know, offense already there.
00:26:32
Speaker
And the Browns too. I feel like the Browns have a lot more guys that can take the top off the defense. Whereas Wondell is more like underneath a little bit. They desperately need wide receiver help, man. Like it hasn't, it hasn't worked with Cedric Tillman. It hasn't worked with obviously Jerry Judy, but even the giants, what do you have? Yeah. neighbor i'm just, I'm have to draft i'm confused.
Trade Possibilities for Wide Receivers
00:26:51
Speaker
i'm confused at letting him go in the building has been solid letting him go and then paying a Kenneth Walker or going to draft like a Jeremiah Love um in in the in the first round. and And like every rumor you hear, it's all but done for Wanda. Like they're they're not going to sign him. I think 15 to 17 million is like beautiful money for Wanda Robinson.
00:27:16
Speaker
you Look, you have an injury prone right receiver. Like you don't know what's going to happen. And like you said, look, he took over for him, 92 catches for a thousand yards. That's pretty good. yeah yeah I'm wondering if it's um just some PTSD from Darius Slayton. The Darius Slayton contract did not look good, obviously. ah He has a $15 million dollars dead cap hit. he Next year, it's it's a $3 million dollar dead cap hit, so he's Probably gone next year. you Probably gone next year. yeah you know Is there some worry about that? He can't stay on the field either. He can't stay on the field either. yeah it's ah
00:27:53
Speaker
And he can't catch anything. That's when we drop passes this year. It was in the breadbasket. And Darius Slayton, to me, the guy was a great one. We needed him. but yeah Guys, this this is a very deep wide receiver class in the The Concepcion, all those guys. The Giants have a very high pick in the second round.
00:28:13
Speaker
Yeah. Concepcion, I would love. Is it Concepcion? He ran the gullet? Not the gullet. What's it called? The gu the gauntlet. The gauntlet? Like, perfectly. Yeah.
00:28:24
Speaker
Like, perfectly. I love that. Yeah. And, yeah, I don't think Wandel's going to be around for much longer. ah A guy who I think, um just a few others, a guy who I really like, and I know we crap on the Packers wide receivers, but I i really like how he played, especially in the playoffs. And it it's very clear now he's their best player.
00:28:43
Speaker
And you know to your point, Nak, why are you giving getting rid of a guy who's the building? Romeo Dobbs, career highs in 2025, 26, ball yeah he He has a little like Devante Adams in him. And I know when he was kind of, ah you know, when Devante Adams left, they were kind of saying he might be a mini Devante Adams. Same same guys there. Titans. I i i could see the bills. the like monster if the packers monster The Packers are dumb enough to let him go. This the bill. This is a must for the bills. Oh, yeah. one hundred percent Yeah. Yeah. They got to pay whatever kind of and look. It's not going cost that much because it's not like you put up these like
00:29:21
Speaker
crazy numbers, right? Yeah. But yeah, the bills have to do something and this is definitely a I'd go grab. To me, this would be the best one. And then there's some veteran guys. Go ahead.
00:29:32
Speaker
I was going to. Romeo Dobbs to me is low key. Number one in the tier list. Like after Alec Pierce, because he's going to be tagged. Like I will put him before Juwan Jennings and Wanda Robinson, because I just feel like there's so much upside on such a low price. And that guy is so young, so young. Like he just turned 25 or he's about to turn 25.
00:29:48
Speaker
twenty five Like it's, I don't know. Like, I just feel like this is, this is the one that I would be looking at if I was looking for a free agent wide receiver. And I bet his agent's trying to get him out of Green Bay because there's just too many WR3s. It's the socialist wide receiver room, Roger, that you love so much. socialist wide receiver room, exactly.
00:30:07
Speaker
um And then there's the veterans here. There's Mike Evans. I mean, I don't know, guys. like I don't see him getting out of getting out of Tampa. I feel like he's a one-and-done type guy, but... the The Bills have been interested, or at least there's been rumored the Ravens. think he's going to chase, man. I think he's going to chase that ring now. You think it's the Ravens?
00:30:26
Speaker
No. I even think, bro, I'm looking at this, and I want the Bills to grab Romeo Dobbs and Mike Evans. Mike Evans becomes your mike evans becomes your red zone target, and Dobbs is going to be it.
00:30:41
Speaker
Mike Evans can't play every snap. He can't. can't he's not He's not there anymore. He's he's lost a step. These are the two wide receivers that the Bills need to grab. The players, however, are under the cap by like $9 million.
00:30:56
Speaker
There's a lot of guys that are just eating up unnecessary cap space. Curtis Samuel and Josh Palmers of the world. Yeah, but they restructured a lot of deals. Allen's contract, just like the Cowboys did. They restructured all of their high contracts and made $66 million in space.
00:31:14
Speaker
like It's it just one of those. like They have to. Their window is is Josh Allen. right like You got to do it now. You got to get him some weapons. It's been a ah joke over there at the wide receiver spot. yeah But I can definitely see the Ravens too.
00:31:27
Speaker
We talked about Debo Samuel. ah Sorry. Go ahead. No, no. just like It'll be like this year's DeAndre Hopkins that they tried to grab. you know yeah and The older guy. Better than Hopkins at this point. but I think it's run its course that the Ravens going after the the veteran guy. The veteran guy.
00:31:43
Speaker
There's Dimo Samuel who we talked about potentially reunion in San Francisco, Tyreek Hill. Um, you know, obviously everyone's talking about the KC reunion. There was a lot of talk about how his miles per hour were, were as low as they've it's ever been. And this was even pre-injury. So obviously a guy who really relies on athleticism and explosiveness, I just don't see him being the same type of guy.
00:32:05
Speaker
And then finally we have Rashid Shahid. really good postseason from a special teams perspective i think the we're scratching the surface on what he can do from an offensive perspective as a speedy guy this so nak if you're saying like oh you know like mike evans and romeo dobbs i would much prefer they go with one of mike evans or romeo dobbs and add a rashid shee because they that's one thing i feel they're desperately lacking is downfield speed where i got like someone who could actually catch the ball they were throwing it deep to brendan cooks yeah in the playoffs right like in the year of our lord 2026 so he caught it though and he did uh and he caught it and kind let's let's let's not go there um we're gonna stay with the wide receivers nack's gonna talk about the trade and cut market for the pass catchers and wide receivers
00:32:55
Speaker
Yes, thank you, Rogers. There are definitely a slew of of players here that are slated to be cut or looking to be traded or can be traded, should I say. um the The first name that obviously jumps off the page is Mr. Brandon Ayuk.
00:33:15
Speaker
Been a little bit murky in San Fran. It's never been, i feel like ever since he signed that contract, I think it's it's like ever since that whole thing, he was supposed to be traded to the Patriots, Steelers, and then he finally signed. I feel like it was never right there.
00:33:30
Speaker
Then he played a few games and missed um missed all of last season. He stopped showing up. He stopped coming to the the facility. He stopped answering his phone. um This one has obviously the writing on the wall. He's going to be cut as soon as the league year um the league year starts. I think his time in um San Francisco is over.
00:33:53
Speaker
I don't know if a team like the Steelers kicked the tires again. I know they had interest in him. a lot of people have been telling i've been saying the commanders with Jaden Daniels Then you have obviously
Key Trade and Cut Market Players
00:34:07
Speaker
the Ravens. The Ravens have been looking for that that bona fide number one, although I know that Zay Flowers did quietly have a very good season last year. but um Well, he did. There's no touchdowns, but that's... says Yeah. well I don't know how that happened. Part for course for Zay Flowers. Part for the course. I don't know. What do you guys think about you? like as Are you giving this guy another shot? like He's got a...
00:34:31
Speaker
I don't know, man. I don't um i don't even know what he's going to command after being released either because I can't see them trading that contract now. i think I... Yeah, I think there's some mental health issues. Like some people are saying like they had the ice cream thing. Oh, yeah, that was brutal. I saw that. well Yeah, like so some people are even like, is he even going to play this year? um Yeah, I don't know. that The commanders makes the most sense because he played he played in college with Jaden Daniels at at Arizona State.
00:35:02
Speaker
i mean, that's the one that makes is the most sense. um so the the the not he's gonna get he's gonna get dr released they're gonna they're gonna cut him yeah and they're gonna eat like about 30 million dollar cap it is that it whatever the dead cap is i'm not sure what it is but um so you can sign with whoever he wants after i don't know man like this guy has to come on the super cheap if i want him on my team and and even the commanders like they're gonna need some wide receiver help because taren mclaurin
00:35:31
Speaker
He's getting old. Debo Samuels on his way out. Iuke does make sense from that point of view. But if I'm any team looking at Brandon Iuke, I need to know that everything is okay from a knee perspective and everything is okay from what's going on upstairs perspective.
00:35:46
Speaker
Like, cause this is, this is not an investment that you can take lightly with this guy. it's it just becomes sometimes it's too messy you know what i mean like it's just the he might just be a one and done i wouldn't be surprised if but this guy signed somewhere never reclaims his form due to injuries and then it's just like what could have been what it reminds me what reminds me of justin blackman and i was gonna who is the ah who's the wide receiver for the browns that went off the josh gordon josh gordon yeah that was That was just weed, though. That wasn't... Lay off weed! It wasn't mental health. that was just That was just him having to smoke weed. I'm just i'm just saying there were not mental health specifically, but more just like challenges and stuff. so one Fun fact, actually. Because he stopped showing up to the facility and all that stuff, I think his guarantees are void. Yes, they are. Which means there's not going to be any... There's going to be very minimal dead cap on the contract because the guarantees are gone.
00:36:45
Speaker
So... but then It's going to be very in on it's going to be very um very very small, if any, dead cap on that contract. Next name on the list is Mr. Calvin Ridley. Did sign that big contract with um the Titans.
00:37:04
Speaker
i It's a pretty manageable. There's a potential out um actually this year, if I'm reading this correctly. After 20, yeah, so potential.
00:37:15
Speaker
out in 2026 with a $13 million debt cap. So pretty digestible. They do have plenty of cap. So they could like legit just cut them and say okay, well, $13 million on debt cap and we'll, we'll take our chances with maybe signing another guy. It hasn't really been great for Calvin Ridley over there since they, since they signed him.
00:37:37
Speaker
I'd love to, I'd love if he goes back to the Falcons because they they need like another wide receiver. That would be good for him. Just maybe a little rehabilitation, go back to where he had his career year. yeah I like that. I like that. But I feel like all signs point to him potentially being.
00:37:52
Speaker
oh yeah. Yep. Then we have some trade candidates. Obviously, the one that everyone's been talking about since last year, we've got AJ Brown with the Philadelphia Eagles.
00:38:03
Speaker
He's owed $29 million in guaranteeing. So there's there's be some dead cap concerns for the Eagles if they do um trade him. But obviously you have the Patriots who are have been involved since last year, even like going back to the deadline.
00:38:20
Speaker
I know that, um I think it was Harry Roseman that said that we're building a a team here and we you know you don't trade out your your best players. But then it contradicted, I think, something that Sirianni said.
00:38:32
Speaker
i just think I don't know. I can't see A.J. Brown in an Eagles jersey this year. i just There's way too much smoke. I think it's going to happen, and I think that reunion with Vrabel makes way too much sense. i don't know what you guys think, but I don't i think we've seen the last of A.J. Brown as an Eagle.
00:38:51
Speaker
I would, I mean, I i i love AJ Brown and I would be very much happy if he does go to the Pats with Mike Vrabel as a reunion. I think it's going make him very happy. And I think we're gonna see some bonkers numbers by him and Drake May next year if that actually happens. Because the guy is still 28 years old.
00:39:08
Speaker
Like he's going to turn 29 this year. he is still elite. He still has a solid bunch of years ahead of him. And this guy is a dog, AJ Brown. is Is this going to command a first round pick if he gets traded?
00:39:20
Speaker
I don't think so. It's going to be tough to get a first round pick with that contract, I think. And he has some knee issues. yeah Apparently he has some degenerative knee issues that have been lingering. um So I don't know if teams are going to be willing to give a first round pick for that.
00:39:35
Speaker
I agree. i I don't know if a first round pick is in the cards. And he's, is he 20? twenty Is he getting close to 30? He's turning 29 this year. Okay. Okay. it's not it's not yeah it's not all over i don't i don't see him getting traded like i i swung towards leaning no before thinking yes i just it doesn't seem like it's great asset management for the i know the eagles tend to be aggressive and they let go of players maybe sooner than most teams would but i don't feel this is the year
00:40:12
Speaker
maybe at the trade deadline, but I feel like they want to give it one more go. They got rid of Kevin Petulo. think Nick Sirianni definitely on the hot seat. They brought in ah a quarterback, sorry, an offensive coordinator who, you know, maybe is supposed to open it up a little bit more and more under center, maybe try to get the best out of Jalen Hurts one more time. And i I think they, for them to really understand what they have in Jalen Hurts,
00:40:37
Speaker
This is a make or break year for Hertz. If he has a bad year, we all know the Eagles are very apt to getting rid of quarterbacks, even quarterbacks who are Super Bowl MVPs. And I think they wanted to test and understand how well he will do this year.
00:40:50
Speaker
i think it makes sense to see what they have ah with Hertz and AJ Brown one more time. Interesting. Yeah, I think it's it's more likely than not that he doesn't get traded, unfortunately.
00:41:01
Speaker
which I my from a giant fan, maybe it is fortunate because that just means you guys think it up for another year with that offense. So it's fine.
00:41:10
Speaker
You know, so Joe's account, he still has solid seasons. I know, it's crazy. It's like you look at his numbers and it's like, wow, he's not doing bad. He's living up. He missed like three games, right? And he's set 1,000 yards, 70 catches, 7 touchdowns. This is with a quarterback that cannot even throw for 3,000 yards that's throwing to you. Imagine, imagine. He basically gets half the amount of yards that Jalen Hurts throws. It's wild. It's crazy. It's nuts.
00:41:36
Speaker
Moving on, an interesting name on the list. um Rumors have been swirling about Mr. Brian Thomas Jr. potentially on the trade block for a um day two pick, I believe it is. He's he's just one season of the
00:41:54
Speaker
shy of the posting of 87 catches for almost 13 yards and 10 touchdowns in his
Examining Jalen Waddle's Trade Options
00:42:01
Speaker
rookie season. So there's definitely meat on the bone with Brian Thomas Jr. I don't think it's time to, you know, put him to the curb just yet, but the emergence of Parker Washington, they did resign um Myers as well. And then you have Travis Hunter who who comes back. I know they, I know there was mention of him potentially playing more corner than receiver, but Now that they have these guys, i think Brian Thomas does become expendable. He didn't look great with Lawrence last year.
00:42:34
Speaker
So that is ah obviously cause for concern because Lawrence is obviously not going anywhere. um i don't know i are you are you are you a team like if you're a team are you are you going you know are you going to trade for a second round pick potentially a third round pick for brian thomas to get him on your team 20 i think he's 23 24 years old yeah one million percent this is like but you can argue this is a board no this is you can argue you should be giving up a first round pick for like borderline like this is like a high-end but i'm said bor I agree. I agree. I agree with Fab. Like, a low like you wouldn't you wouldn't give up like pick number 28 to get Brian Thomas Jr.? agree with Fab.
00:43:09
Speaker
like a Late. Late first one. No injury. his no injury Crazy first season. Maybe, yeah, he has bad chemistry with the quarterback. He seems like he's third in the offensive coordinator.
00:43:23
Speaker
Yeah. but Yeah, for sure. But third in the pecking order. Like to me, started, I start the year. Like we did our pre-draft rankings. I like Parker Washington more. I like Jacobi Meyer, Myers more. You did.
00:43:35
Speaker
Um, it's not, I saw a lot of Steelers when I, when I looked at like, was about to say, was about to say that. It was like three headlines with like the Steelers. Yeah. have, uh, four third round picks. So, uh,
00:43:48
Speaker
Because i'm I'm seeing that there he won't he won't go higher. He won't get traded for more –
00:43:55
Speaker
you won't get They won't get a first and likely not a second. um So they're saying potentially a third. That's a third or a third. third and a fifth gets it done. Like a third and a fifth. What did they give up for Travis third and a fifth gets it done for Brian Thomas Jr.? That is such a low offer.
00:44:13
Speaker
That's nasty. That's amazing. that's what That's what I've been hearing. That's what I've been hearing, yeah. What did they give up for Travis Hunter? Wow. A lot. They gave up a lot. They gave up the first round pick last year. They gave up the first round pick this year. This coming year.
00:44:30
Speaker
There's for sure a second in there. I'd want to recoup that. And I think the best way to try to recoup that is Whittle Point and Thomas Jr. That's a very good point. Yeah, they're definitely going to get some some some some draft stock, but... um Yeah, I don't know. it What's great is that he's on a cheap rookie deal, right?
00:44:47
Speaker
And he's got... He was a first-round pick, correct? correct me i'm wrong so he's got ah So he's got a fifth-year option as well. So he's... yeah There's great control. yeah There's a of control over Ryan Thomas Jr.
00:45:03
Speaker
Next, we have Jalen Warren quickly. Waddle. Waddle, excuse me. Jalen Waddle. Obviously, I had ja Jalen Warren. Waddle, Waddle, Waddle, Waddle. But yes, we're saying Jalen Waddle.
00:45:15
Speaker
For all his injury madness, he played 16 games last year. So not bad. Stayed on the field. Stayed stay on the field is I mean, is here his his um i mean is is ah stats like super great, but obviously the quarterback situation wasn't either. 64 catches, 910 yards, TDs.
00:45:38
Speaker
so not great and there was rumors of him potentially um being traded i don't know do you do you think miami should should get rid of him and like who do you think what's the best fit for wattle at this point eight chiefs maybe yeah that's a cute one chiefs could be interesting i mean he's he's still very fast Shorter, more on the shorter side.
00:46:05
Speaker
I could see that I like all these teams that need speed, like the the Raiders need speed. Chiefs need speed. ah that The Niners don't have much much cap room, but they need a ton of speed.
00:46:18
Speaker
uh i know the steelers were mentioned as well for jaylen wattle they've been trained partners with miami a lot throughout the season just want all the wide receivers but like they need they need everything like as as much as we like i love aaron rogers like but like come on like it's let's get all the wide receivers let's have like a super young wide receiver room but our our quarterback's like 45 years old like yeah what are we doing yeah yeah patriots could be interesting But again, like with individual within the The trade within the division would be very tough.
00:46:51
Speaker
brown Browns. I think if if there was one, I i would love to i would love the Browns. Because Monken, find... like Think of how Monken used Zay Flowers. Very similar type of player. Short, fast, intermediate. They go with a Pro Bowl quarterback, right? Pro... Pro Bowl quarterback. Yeah.
00:47:12
Speaker
quarterbacks it's the only team that have two pro bowl quarterbacks on the roster anyway and you got uh he's not and you got deshaun watson there too who's just gonna be he's coming back you guys see that post there yeah how how how good he looks in the offseason the league the league's gotta be put on notice and the league knows the looks like there might be a tyson's in destination too i I can't believe they're still being linked to quarterbacks, especially in the first round. It's like, it's bonkers. They don't have. Cleveland being linked to Ty Simpson.
00:47:41
Speaker
Yeah. They want all the quarterbacks. They want. I mean, sure. It makes sense you're because of Cleveland, but to round, to round off the wide receiver, the wide receiver list, we've got two more on rookie deals, key on Coleman and Quinton Johnson, both cheap options. Key on Coleman, I think is done.
00:48:00
Speaker
um To not be able to get on the field in Buffalo is is is strange to me. Quinn and Johnson did have – he started off hot last year, i believe. Caught a cut a few touchdowns when Lad McConkie was kind of taking a back seat in that offense. But out of these two guys, like you is there one that you're favoring over the
Insights into Wide Receiver Market Moves
00:48:24
Speaker
Is there one that you're really not even interested in at all? i i would I would be very interested in Keon Coleman. Like, I think he got a bum deal in in Buffalo. They didn't even want to draft him, and they drafted him. So i don't i don't know if you can tier his lack of success to him being a bad player.
00:48:42
Speaker
I think there was always going to be a second-round value on him. right and he is drafted in the high second round and in a pretty deep wide receiver class too so I for me I'd be much more interested in Keon Coleman than I would be interested in Quinton Johnson I think Keon Coleman we don't you're still not sure what you have in him and I think there's a lot of upside in that whereas Quinton Johnson you kind of have an idea what he is you know much more than than Coleman and I just feel like Coleman needs a change of scenery like when the GM goes on like puts 10 toes down and said oh yeah we didn't we didn't want him but the coach did so we got him and here he is and
00:49:15
Speaker
it's How do you like? Yeah, but it's a coach's decision to keep him off the field. Right. It's not the GM or it's not the owner. It's the coach's decision to keep him off the field. So the coach that wanted him wasn't playing. And I like what Joe Brady said. I like what Joe joe Brady said. The best he told King Coleman, the best thing to happen to you is me being head coach.
00:49:34
Speaker
So I'm sure to your point, there was some stuff maybe with Sean McDermott where he didn't want to play him. I think the issue with Keon Coleman is he locks and a severe amount of maturity. Oh, yeah.
00:49:45
Speaker
You see it. You see it on the field. You see it pregame. like It's like, I don't know if there's something up with this guy, but... big big immature player so i i guess i guess for me it's quentin johnson like at least there's some proof of concept but he needs a i think he needs a change of scenery too i would think he uh keenan allen probably stays there he's he's another one of those like either he retires or he you know he stays as a charger still has good chemistry but that what is qui wouldn't johnson fit there as the x right like mcconkey's not an x and neither is is naalli
00:50:17
Speaker
They need that guy on the outside. that's I think Keenan Allen being on that roster, Keenan Allen being on that roster, and this is no respect to Keenan Allen, but I think him being on that roster is holding that offense back because I think it's the whole Justin Herbert's best friend type thing. And there there are limitations to Keenan Allen's game just for just for reasons that we just mentioned because of his age. so At this point, it's like you got to make room for the other guys a little bit too, right? Because we saw that in the beginning of last year, was Quentin Johnson and it was Keenan Allen.
00:50:46
Speaker
And then all of a sudden Keenan Allen tapered off and Lamon Conkey came back, but the offense never really got rolling, especially when the offensive line got hurt and and they were good. Like that office was really, was humming at one point, but it would be interesting to see how Mike McDaniel uses Quinton Johnson for sure.
00:51:02
Speaker
Yes, that will do it for our wide receivers. We'll quickly go through some of the tight end market, obviously since Pitts has been tagged and we are on Kelsey Retirement Watch.
00:51:18
Speaker
I'll just quickly name the tight ends that are likely to be available. We've got Kelsey, Njoku, Isaiah Likely, Okonkwo. Kate Auten, Goddard, Tyler Higby, Conklin.
00:51:32
Speaker
So Fab, I'll start with you. Who out of this list here do you like the most and what where do you see a fit for him? I mean, Isaiah likely is probably the name that's just jumping out the most just from ah or a perspective of age and already production.
00:51:49

um He's being linked heavily to the Giants, obviously, because of the whole John Harbaugh situation. i don't know if that's going to come to fruition, honestly. And there's a lot of teams out there that could use it like Him being re-signed or signing with the but the Eagles after Godera's gone could be super interesting, especially with the whole A.J. Brown fiasco, because Isaiah Likely is ah is a very good piece to the offense.

The problem is that I don't know how much of a blocking tight end he is. feel like Godera was more of a blocking tight end. was more a traditional tight end, so I think that's a bit of a knock on Likely. He's much more slender in that sense, so he could be a complementary tight end.
00:52:25
Speaker
um So the market might be a little bit weird in that sense. But I see him being super interesting, though. Definitely the most upside. Definitely the most upside. I've been hearing a lot of the Patriots because he's from he's from that area as well. Like his family is from that area. um and That would be a massive piece for Drake May in that offense and Isaiah Likely, I think.
00:52:47
Speaker
yeah because they target the tight end quite a bit. Hunter Henry does have he does have decent seasons, and he's he's on there quite ah he's on he's on the offensive line quite a bit. that Hunter Henry, the name of fantasy hates the most. when tight is when you get him When you get him in the right week, he wins you weeks.
Tight End Market Evaluation
00:53:05
Speaker
Two catches, 28 yards, and two touchdowns. For the next six weeks, it's nothing. three touch ah So crazy. Raj, what about you? Who do you like on this list? I'm assuming you guys are sick of me saying. I'm going to go to David Njoku. David Njoku, he's only two years removed from 123 targets, 81 receptions, almost 900 yards, and six touchdowns.
00:53:32
Speaker
Washington Commanders, they just lost Zach Ertz to be really probably career-ending. Not probably. I think it is career-ending. And they have $86 million dollars in cap space.
00:53:44
Speaker
This would be a very interesting get, I think, for the Commanders to add another weapon. We know Jaden Daniels needs way more weapons there. And I think Njoku is only, i think he's only 29 years old.
00:53:55
Speaker
Yep, 29 years old. I think this would be a really interesting get for them. It's funny you say commanders because i think I liked Dallas Goddard to the commanders, taking the Zach Ertz route out of Philly and going tos interesting going to the commanders and getting more of that veteran guy like Zach Ertz did.
00:54:15
Speaker
Because like I still think Godair played amazing this year. I think he had 10 touchdowns, 11 touchdowns this year. So I think for Jaden Daniels to kind of settle him down, I think that's a player that they need to go get in terms of like veteran tight end and like good players still. Yeah. Don't forget, it's also a very good tight end class. There's one, there's Kenyon, Sadiq is supposed to go middle first, but then apparently there's a lot of guys in kind of the second and third round. So that'll be interesting as well, that aspect.
00:54:45
Speaker
It also like it it opens Godair leaving opens up a big hole in that offense for the Eagles because he's, he's a foregone conclusion that he leaves. They can still sign him, but true. True. just that that's a big, it's big hole, man. I feel like Hertz and that offense really rely on the tight end quite a bit when, when they can't get their offense going with wide receivers.
Conclusion and Upcoming Coverage

And then you got a 11 touchdowns to, uh, to replace as well. Right. So.
