Kit Marie and Catherine Walker time their Ozzie coffee with a chat about flight shame, UK high-school subject options, a gap-year in Chile, researching climate change from the perspective young people from migrant families, and more!
Known as Catherine by some, Cate to others but to everyone, a deep thinker with a passion for exploring, analysing, reading and writing about how young people relate to climate and environmental issues, and how that looks and feels different in different parts of the world. This interest is semi-autobiographical but also informed by a Masters, PhD and postdoctoral research in the UK, India, Australia and Brazil. Catherine is currently a Human Geography researcher at Newcastle University.
