Speaker: I don't do Pythagoras, so fair play. When he gets to Pythagoras' mouth, fuck that shit. We found his weakness. Pythagoras.

Speaker: Hello everyone and welcome to this week's episode of the Fetish of the Table drop dead of the blue blunders. We are a Rive Play 5e 2034 podcast set in the magical homebrew world of Eris in the kingdom of Dralakias. ah Joining you for this week's episode we have Darren who plays the half-orc barbarian Thalakshundjari.

Speaker: Coming to you, Thrive. ah And also playing the human rogue ranger Robin. She's the fighter now actually.

Speaker: It's just a funny way, actually. Will, who plays the Dragonborn Druid by Valcon. you Ian, who plays the Tiefling Warsaw Ronyx Corell and Drago. Hi, and what up?

Speaker: ah The Apple Pie Smashing Edgelord Callum, who plays the Warforged Shartificer Alpha. Gloop. PewDie, who plays the hue the Human Bard, Karstan. Hello.

Speaker: Hello. Hello, my name is Mark and I'm playing the Human Blade singer, Seth Faroe Reaver, and by last but by no means least, is the Lore Lord, the Leader of Legends, the Lexicon of Labyrinths, the Lurker Stripper Nibbler, Dungeon Master Danny!

Speaker: bonjou We find that all hours are... I did like a weird like thing there as I tried to speak. It's like an old man thing, i think That's what happens. That and nose whistling. haven't got the nose whistling yet, but I'll get that soon. Speaking of nose whistling, though, we hear the nose whistles of old Gail sat in the dark library, pouring over a tome, rolling the orb between his fingers as he yeah fidgets and looks at the camera and begins. I'm getting too old for this shit. Ooh, sneak attack.

Speaker: The group arrive in the ruins, but it's a rather different. There's a door being battered upon, and Robin Ren and Sion go out there, too. And Baal's like, oh, shit, I'm going to prep the group about Shondralikar and talk about her and how we should fight her. And then she shouts out to her, and it all goes silent. Nix and Tharok open the barricades, and it's just lots of lots of static in the city. And the city has got, like, this ethereal quality, and it's all wispy. And Robin's like, hey, I know this place. It's netherwinter, and suddenly no one can hear each other. And then, from above, Chandra Lekar descends upon the party, frightening everyone apart from those with the hero's feast, which is pretty much every everyone. Meanwhile, on Aerith, Karstan dispels Drago's charm, and Drago has no connection to Akiva anymore, Karstan's like, I know how to get us back on the steel nightmare boy, and he tries to scry on the party, but it turns out

Speaker: They ain't on the same plane of existence.

Speaker: As that spell ends, Drago, and you watch on contender hooks as Karstan is casting this ability to find your brother.

Speaker: The spell ends. You lean in, expecting to hear from Karstan. The next step in is grand plan.

Speaker: Karstan.

Speaker: We're fucked.

Speaker: Can't get to him. What?

Speaker: It's about to work, which the only way that can not work is if they're not actually on Aerith.

Speaker: Fuck. They're not on... then um Yeah, they're not different playing. Like, you know, it's like like light that, Hells. It's like an onion, you know, different layers.

Speaker: Okay. we've got two options. Okay. Oh, okay. I've got more options. So, option one, hear me out. Shondra LaCarr's fucking with the other guys, right?

Speaker: Right. So we fuck Shondra LaCarr. Okay. Hear me out. Right. We go to Chandra Al-Kar's oasis. Yeah. And we tell them to get Chandra Al-Kar to come back.

Speaker: otherwise we we Otherwise, we start killing them, and i get the eggs out of my horse's sat ah satchels that are there. They've been sequestered away. It's great. um And I start making scrambled eggs until they get Chandra Al-Kar to join us.

Speaker: Right.

Speaker: It's an option. Option two. We find Delmontreys and convince him somehow to get us to the rest of the group. Okay.

Speaker: Okay, and that doesn't involve killing any dragons. I mean, well... I mean, I don't mind killing a dragon, but unhatched one seems a bit against my kin.

Speaker: I mean, these are the dragons that is actually screwing over Aerith right now. Just saying. just yeah on Okay. Which is the way to get us there quicker?

Speaker: To do the Delmon Trace thing, that's going to be another 10 minutes plus to teleport to Shondra LaCarte's Oasis like less than a minute.

Speaker: because need to know where he is. And if I don't know where he is, I'll have to scry for him just like I did for your brother, which is 10 minutes. Then I've got to be able to teleport to him, assuming that he doesn't for some reason, because the problem is, Drago, is that in casting scrying on Delmontrace, he has to let me look at him. And because it's a spell and he will feel that spell being cast on him, he may try and resist it without knowing why.

Speaker: and if he beat if he's able to stop my magic and he's pretty powerful, it won't work.

Speaker: Now, I'm willing to try it. I just want to put it out there that the one way to get Sean Relicar to come to us is to really piss off Sean Relicar. And being a she has actively screwed me once already in the last week, um you know, fuck her.

Speaker: So you think we can coerce Shondralika away from there to us? I mean, if we threaten to kill the eggs that that she's been looking for, then yeah. I reckon her people will be able to get a message to her fairly quickly, I would hope.

Speaker: Otherwise, she's going to come back and there's just going to be a decimated little how home of hers. but yeah Okay. ah what You decide. You're the paladin. You decide.

Speaker: you saw

Speaker: Delmontrace, kill Chandra LaCarre's brute. Up to you.

Speaker: I'd like to remind of that Delmontrace is a knob.

Speaker: is that Is that we go and kill Delmontrace? No, no. We got to convince him somehow to let us, as part of this plan, go up to the Steel Nightmare, wherever that is in whatever plane of existence is, hoping he has the ability to do so.

Speaker: Without him putting any conditions, you know what a slimy, slippery bastard he is. There is no way he will do it for free unless you threaten him. It feels like we're going above and over and above to try and save this place. It's getting fucking hard work.

Speaker: didn It wasn't this hard last time. just turn up, kill a thing, done. I blame the new people. ah i blame the new guys. Just, just. Am I right in thinking you think that going to kill Shondralakar's brood is the way to do it?

Speaker: I don't. I'm not going lie. Personal investment into this, Shondralakar can go suck a bag of dicks. So, you know, if you want sensible car stand, Delmontrace is the sensible option. If you want to go and work your anger out on people, it's Shondralakar's waders.

Speaker: Just feel like we could

Speaker: Cast down this is important. Yep. If we take on Shondralika, it gets her away from the group.

Speaker: It does. And it brings a whole lot of fucking trouble to us. Yeah, we've been there before. I like him.

Speaker: Jean Jolicar, let's go. Let's go. Right. What are we doing? ah wait We're going to teleport. My horse should still be there.

Speaker: And let's do this.

Speaker: I'm going to... ah He doesn't need to hold anything. It's within 10 feet. could have spotted him. Let's go. And i with a cast out of action, I teleport us to Jean Jolicar's oasis. And the kind of scorched earth that you stand on slowly changes for coarse sand.

Speaker: The temperature increases by about 22 degrees as you find yourself in the middle of the desert. And as you begin to kind of look around for that familiar sight once again, you see that oasis.

Speaker: The sentinel crocodiles floating in the water.

Speaker: And you remember where you hitched your horse, not far from here.

Speaker: And the eggs are there, exactly where you left them. Cool. So Carson sort of goes over to the horse and he sort of pulls back the... um the the the bedroll, whatever that's at the back of the horse, that kind of thing that's there. And it looks like nothing's there. And he utters a few words. And it's really weird um that the the idea of that they've been sequestered away, this spell sequester, and these eggs suddenly appear as if they were invisible, as if they were invisible.

Speaker: Right. knew I had to prepare this at some point. Okay. So here are the eggs. Now, I'm of the mind to break one now, but if you want to threaten the druids and say, look, we've got the eggs here, get a chondelle car here now. Let's do the threaten thing.

Speaker: i see Yeah, let's do the threaten thing. Okay, okay, okay. Where are the druids? I mean, the crocodiles. As you begin to unfold this plan, the camera just zooms out of the desert, rotates to the skies, and zooms back in to the steel nightmare, the ghostly visage of Neverwinter.

Speaker: Where I need everyone who is in that city square to roll initiative, please. Dragon!

Speaker: Well, shit. It's happening.

Speaker: Whoa. Why have I rolled so much dice for initiative? Oh, no, it's mixing in with you guys. That's okay. I got to see what dice you've chosen though. Basic bitch.

Speaker: Yeah, I am. I don't even know that you could choose dice. So yes. He doesn't know how. Default dice. Whatever comes with D&D Beyond. that's the only fault Default. I was going to ask who's the other player with the default dice and now I know it's Ian. I'm the same. I mean, it's not a big step there.

Speaker: I have so many dice to choose from. I like how it says with Seth, rolled with basic black dice. can't change this dice right here. I'll fuck around. Ooh.

Speaker: Well, that's a small dragon. Hey, now. That's just So what you're looking at is a virtual tabletop of this scene. Ren, Alpha, and Sayangar wrapped in ah in a pink aura as you are under the frightened condition.

Speaker: ah Originally on the map, that was the temple that you're kind of stood in front of. Because this has been levelled, it's entirely flat now. and The green areas denote all the debris of that temple, so that counts as difficult terrain if you're moving over the green, but it has no elevation anymore. That has been destroyed.

Speaker: um

Speaker: All right. Initiative then. ah Alpha. I got a 12. Thank you. Baal. Nine. Thank you. Robin. 15. Thank you. Nyx.

Speaker: Unfortunately, I got a 19. Thank you. Prager got a 14. Seth. 13. Oh, come on, guys. 10. 10. ah thirteen i'll come on guys ten Tharok Sanjari. 17. No.

Speaker: no And Ren got 10. We'll start combat. Top of the round, Shondra L'Kar. Oh, apologies. and Alpha, could you roll again?

Speaker: You have advantage on your initiative roll because you perceived this incoming. Oh, okay, cool. I can perceive you. Come on, man. Be first. I got a 15. That fucking sucks. It is. It's shit. It bumps you up a little bit, but it's still Shandral Kar to go first. Anything that makes me come first. Shandral Kar is about 40 feet in the air above all of you.

Speaker: ah Shandral Kar is going to take one kind of descending flap lower and is going to use her wings in an all-powerful kind of...

Speaker: ah

Speaker: of spherical spin and going to ask everyone who is within 15 feet of her, which is Seth, Robin, Prego, Tharok, not quite Nyx.

Speaker: You all need to make pleas. Deck saves.

Speaker: about

Speaker: It's still rolling. I think it's done now. ah It is an number that I no longer see on my screen. Okay, well, you're figuring that out.

Speaker: oh Oh, there it is. 21, apparently. Oh. Holy shit. ah Fail. Seth. 25. Pass. Robin.

Speaker: Robin was a 20. Fail. I'm going to use my second round level then. Okay. What does that do? It allows me to re-roll it and I get to add 16 to whatever i roll.

Speaker: If I still fail, I keep the roll.

Speaker: We get two of them per long rest. Is that right? yeah Yeah. 32. Pass. ah Prego failed. Tharok. Tharok's 12. failed alpha you have something to say i'm just wondering uh could use my flash of genius on ball at this stage just as when a creature oh well actually 30 feet is he within 30 feet of me just i can add four to his i can spur my reaction and a flash of genius to add four to his role yes that doesn't seem like that's counterintuitive to the fear they'll allow it cool thank you for turning out of four to your ball there ball

Speaker: oh Hero, thank you. Okay, so those of you who failed will take points of bludgeoning damage.

Speaker: You are prone.

Speaker: And Shondrada Kaur will ascend 60 foot higher.

Speaker: Those of you who passed, nothing happens.

Speaker: That's all she's going to do in this first round. Nick's Corral. How far up is Shondra La Car?

Speaker: 60 feet above you. Okay, sorry, I thought you said 60 more foot. Sorry, no, she reascended 60 foot plus the 40 foot she is from you. So she's 40 foot across, 60 foot up.

Speaker: I can't do Pythagoras that quickly, but um you work it out.

Speaker: Was she six? What? 60 foot in the air. Yeah. And she's 40 feet horizontally from you. Oh, oh, okay. yeah Yeah, that's fine. That's fine. that Finishing that triangle. i can't remember. Sorry. I was too busy deciding what to do. And you were saying numbers and I heard 60 and I just ran with that. Okie dokie.

Speaker: Oh, shit. Okay. Okay. um Let's try this. Let's fucking just hit the big, big bollock spell straight off the bat. Okay.

Speaker: Nyx is going to move his full 30 feet, so he's um almost 10 foot from being completely under her. And listening to what Baal had said in the last episode about trying to ground this motherfucker.

Speaker: Let's fucking... She's 60 foot, though. She's fucking 60 foot. She's fucking 60 foot.

Speaker: She's 60. Yeah, Pythagoras is hard. Fucking... Where's the... Where's the thing? Where's the thing? ah there you are.

Speaker: Ah, okay, cool. Right, so um Nix is going to ah close his eyes and ah push his hands down to the ground.

Speaker: And as he does so, these the purple lightning that's so Nix starts to i ah to appear on his horns and it spreads through his body. And as it reaches his fingertips and pushes into the ground, what shoots up from the ground are purple lightnings.

Speaker: lightning infested tendrils that are going to attempt to wrap and loop around Shondralkar in the sky. It can reach 300 feet and the target must succeed on a strength saving throw, which is a 16 as Nick's casts earth bind. Oh yeah.

Speaker: But a strength. I know, I know, but I've got to try.

Speaker: 28. Fucking dragons.

Speaker: Shit. Great shout, though. i mean um So that's my action. i will...

Speaker: And my go there Yeah. That's it. said you moved as well.

Speaker: I did. Yes. I moved a whole, all my 30 feet of movement. Cause you said I was 40 feet away from her. Um, let me move on screen.

Speaker: It would be right, right there. Sanger, you're up next. I am directly, if she's directly from a center point to the ground, she's 60 feet up, I am from that center point on the ground, 10 foot away from that.

Speaker: There's your Pythagoras. Thank you. I've got my triangle calculator up now, so i can I can do this angle for help everyone. Don't worry. Okay, awesome. 63 63 I'm going say Syingar is under the he's scared he's a little scared bitch so I'm assuming I have to just move away you just can't get closer it doesn't say about getting um further away just said you can't get closer he's going to run away the end of your turn you'll make the save again am I have nothing ranged I didn't think that far ahead um and everything he does is very martial, involves being up close, so that's the end of my turn.

Speaker: And I re-roll the wisdom saving throw now. Yes. Hocky docky, that is a wow, huge 13.

Speaker: 13. ah Don't you have this thing that Robin has? I do, but I don't think this is worth using it for. All right, frightened. you don't Don't you have to roll it with disadvantage because you're frightened? Does it say anything about that?

Speaker: The spell doesn't say that, but... Brighton says you have disbanded ability action attack rolls while the source of the fear is in the line of Sime. Okay, to not so say not safe. You're still frightened, Sanka.

Speaker: That's cool. Okay. Thank you very much for your contribution, Tharok Sanjari.

Speaker: Farok is going to snap to his feet. rage ah fuck it and it's then going to ignite the cape and it's just going to take off towards shondralica nice

Speaker: angry um i don't think i'll reach you this turn because had to use half my movement getting up but i will start flying in the direction of shondralica sometimes it takes us half our movement to go and don't worry It does at my age. um I'm going to just fly toward that directly towards Shrongjalaqar.

Speaker: and What's your speed? What's the cape's flying speed? What does it give me?

Speaker: I think it's your movement speed. Okie dokie. That is 35, I think, as far as I'm going double check that. Okay, so you would have stood up for Round up, you stood up for 20.

Speaker: So you've had 15, 15 foot in the air.

Speaker: Okay. Yep. Fab. That's what I've done. Great. Then you also take fire damage. I do.

Speaker: The only.

Speaker: He ignited his flame-tongued sword, he said. It's every source of flame within 30 feet. So your wildfire spirit will also disappeared. Is it within 120 feet? My wildfire spirit is to the north of me. so a ho says anything with the start it's It's outside feet. fine. doesn't but you say the item says one The item says all of flame within feet of your Oh, it Thank you for...

Speaker: Correcting. Fucking crack some eggs, Will. It's in the party inventory. It's literally written your D&D Beyond. You're not in this fight. Shut up. You can read it in D&D Beyond. It's right there. This is how he contributes to the fight. He's my assistant. Yeah, wildfire spirit's gone. Bile. Yeah, requires his five feet of active flame trigger.

Speaker: You dick. Fucking happy. Okay. ah Robin's turn.

Speaker: Robin will just immediately say under his breath, fuck, and will go over his hand, and you'll notice that there are no quivers, there is no arrow, sorry, in his quiver. And what he does is this energy starts to form in his right hand as he brings it out, and he pulls out this energy arrow, and he's just going to unleash three very quick shots towards Shondralikar.

Speaker: Go for it.

Speaker: First one is a 23. Hits.

Speaker: Takes 7 points of force damage. Second one is 27. Hits.

Speaker: Takes an additional 10 points of force damage. Thank you.

Speaker: Final one for 25. Hits.

Speaker: Takes max damage, 14 points of force damage. Thank you. Anything else for your turn? What Robin will then do is

Speaker: he's going to move in Ren's direction, get towards her, and he's just going to shout... Get to cover. Get him here however you can.

Speaker: And that's the end of Robin's turn. Okay. Shondra is going to take a legendary action and is going to see the incoming flying half-orc and is going to whip her tail and just strike you with it thoroughly.

Speaker: 33 to hit. 20 feet. You'd be surprised to learn that that hits.

Speaker: I'm surprised. Is he within 20 feet?

Speaker: Yes. If she's 60 feet up and he's moved 15 feet. i've and yeah I've only gone so far because I can only fly so far. Because I had to get up. Sorry, i just to will this one because my wife was i' fine. that I don't do Pythagoras, so fair play. When he gets to Pythagoras' mouth, fuck that shit. We found his weakness. That one is now 45. Pythagoras.

Speaker: B, calculate. B needs to be smaller than C. Not on this triangle, doesn't. Hang on. This is cool, kids. ah No, good call.

Speaker: You're still 40 feet away. Thank you for helping me with that triangle. Maths. Thanks. Thanks, helpful Will. Yeah, you're welcome, buddy. Anything to big up the team?

Speaker: All things must be equal. Both Wills can't do better for Ying and Yang. Ying and Yang. No, absolutely fair play. Thank you for challenging in that.

Speaker: Sidon is like, fuck that shit. Flaybeth. Hold that legendary action until you're bit closer then. Great. It is Prego's turn. Prego is... little bitch.

Speaker: ah He is going to... Banish Robin and Syngar. Fuck you guys. He is going to spell your fear, Syngar, and cast Heroism on you instead.

Speaker: Ooh, her witch.

Speaker: yeah

Speaker: This blue mage hand just kind of slaps you two or three times around the face, Syingar, to kind of knock you out of this trance, and you are kind of removed from that sense.

Speaker: ah You also get six temporary hit points if you don't have any already.

Speaker: And then he's going to draw his blade that was given to him from Seth and just point it at the dragon. That is the end of his turn.

Speaker: It is sir Seth Ferroever's turn. All right. this was going to happen. Seth's going to look up, pull out a tab from his baggy bag, a pair of bird goggles appear on his face, then shoot out towards the dragon. and He's casting blindness upon him. He's a constitution saving throw.

Speaker: six That fails because you're a bitch. ah No, that passes. um So he's going to realize that, swear under his breath, and cast fifth level Shadow Blade instead. I cast two spells in one turn. Sorry, I've turned evil. Eat shit. It's a bonus action. Oh, you son a bitch.

Speaker: Can't cast two level spells without... um Oh, no, they're joined forces....without a Yin and yang has just become a dick. You need to say something good. that The yin and yang has gone round. Seth, do you have any, like, metamagic feats that you cast quicken spell?

Speaker: That's what I get. Shut up. you play You're playing a wizard, right? You can use magic and spell? No, that's a sorcerer. A sorcerer has that, not a wizard. Come on, Will, you should know that. In that case, eat your shit and die, you're fucked.

Speaker: Cool. Then Seth's going to do a um Like, you know the guy, the kid at the computer who kind of like thumbs up to the camera? He's going to kind of do one of those nods him. Thumbs up to whoever's next to him. And that's his turn.

Speaker: I mean, it's worth it just in case she rolls a one. Positivity. Thank

Speaker: thank you shall have a legendary resistance. Alpha, wear him down, baby. Ew, yeah. Okay, so Alpha's shitting a brick. Um...

Speaker: But my beta cannon is still ongoing, so I am going to attempt to attack with my beta cannon. I have 120 feet range on my force ballista. So let's see if I can hit with this.

Speaker: Probably not with a 15. Is a witty disadvantage? I don't think my cannon can be frightened.

Speaker: not like a proper roll. Whose ability does it use to roll? and It has like its own. ah So it should have made and ah ah made a saving throw then.

Speaker: Whose side are you guys on? You fucking Sean.Cart lovers. Because it exists and has its own stats. We're now Yang Yangs. It's not a thing though, genuinely. It's not a thing where if a certain creature has below a certain level of intelligence, then it's it just doesn't work. It's great for an intelligence saving throw, but...

Speaker: Oh, fuck, there's three of them now. I can do. i ain't bothered because even on the without it, it's not going to hit with 15 anyway. missed. That's missed.

Speaker: That's fine. That's fine.

Speaker: Al's going to do something else instead. He's going to try and create the normal kind of fireball he does with his pistol. Well, it's going to get jammed. He's not used it for a bit. He's kind of whacking it. It just seems to be building up a little bit more of energy.

Speaker: And it's going to keep growing, keep growing. They're just pointing it in the Shondralikar direction. And I'm going to cast Fireball because I can do that now. And obviously in a point, so I'm not aiming at Shondralikar with the Fireball. I'm aiming at a point around.

Speaker: So I don't have to do this with advantage. basic look in know She's in the sky. so you don't As long as you can see her.

Speaker: She's 60 foot in the sky, so you'd just be firing past her. like There's no way you could kind of achieve that splash without wanting to harm her, which you can't do under this condition.

Speaker: i mean, he can. It just says this van he just says a bright streak flashes from your pointing finger to a point you choose within range. Didn't say it has to be an actual piece of ground. I'm misunderstanding. I thought that you were trying to not consciously hit her so you didn't invoke disadvantage.

Speaker: Oh, no, I just have to pick a point. The actual spell itself is... I pick a point somewhere and it explodes there. It's a dex save, isn't it? Yeah, it's just a dex save. Airburst round.

Speaker: That's pretty much it. I'm just firing missiles into the sky. No, you're going to pass on the dex save, I know. Roll a five. Oh. Oh.

Speaker: um Eight D6 worth of fire damage. So let's hope this goes... well There's a clue. There's some dice. 30 points of fire damage.

Speaker: who Okay, thank you for the damage, Callum. You now need to make wisdom saves for the Frightened. Yep. The first one for my turret beta is a 14.

Speaker: And the one for me, Alpha, is 16. Me! You are still frightened. Oh, goddammit. but Anything else on your turn?

Speaker: No, nothing. I've used everything. Balvalcon, you're up next. ah Yeah. Am I right in thinking that to my north, there is like what I can see on the map. It looks like the little outhouse of the small alleyway and like a cart and shit like that um around me. Is that that's all the stuff that's around me to the north? That's right.

Speaker: that's right Awesome. Baal's going to kind of run to the edge of the steps to that direction using 15 feet of his movement. ah Look behind him, see that alleyway, and he's going to jump onto the cart um into the center. He's going to use his bonus action to resummon his wildfire spirit.

Speaker: um And he will do that kind of above him in the air. ah So almost like as ah as a mini firework, just this explosion happening after... Chandra Lekar has just been hit by this big fireball.

Speaker: A secondary explosion kind of above Baal with his bonus action there. He's going look over to Chandra Lekar and just shout up to her again. um And basically, so well, fuck it. Basically going just shout up to her and say, you know what you said about me and those fucking eggs?

Speaker: I meant every one of them. And he's going to breathe into his hand and use a second level, only second level, ah

Speaker: Scorching Ray. So three rays coming out. First one blasting in for a 21 to hit.

Speaker: Misses. Okay, second one will miss as well then. And the third one ah turds, 17 on the last one as well. So none of them hit, um but all three, well, none of them kind of make any damage, if you like, but all three will be blasted towards Shondranakar's face as he's just standing there on this cart to the north.

Speaker: That's me. OK, thank you very much. It is Wren's turn. Wren is going to follow your instruction, ah Robin, and is going to communicate via a sending spell, you imagine, and some information.

Speaker: And then she is going to continue to kind of flee a little bit and take a kind of cover by those that market stalls to the north that Baal is at the other end of.

Speaker: And then she's just going to kind of attempt to steal herself

Speaker: And she is no longer frightened. That is the end of her turn. Top of the round, Chandra LaCarre. I would like you, Bahl,

Speaker: to make a persuasion check or an intimidation check, your choice. to see Both will be equally balls. Taunt her. Yes, yes, yes, yes. it Doesn't really matter which one I do. Both will kind of be relatively balls, especially with a two.

Speaker: and Slowly seeing this orc flying towards her at very slow speed, but then clocking you, Baal.

Speaker: You watch as her gullet begins to bolt and cackle. Small sparks of electricity form in her throat.

Speaker: She positions herself slightly more advantageously.

Speaker: Lowers herself to the ground. And Nyx, you can kind of feel a kind of brushing of air. She's about five feet now hovering above you.

Speaker: And she's going to unleash this breath of lightning through Nyx Corel, through Robin, striking straight at the heart of you, Baal.

Speaker: I need you u three to make dexterity saving throws.

Speaker: That's not cool.

Speaker: or Especially when I roll a natty one. ah

Speaker: Nick is now playing with the dice as well. I told you not to die, Nick. Yeah, yeah, i got I got six in total, but that does include a natural one.

Speaker: A nine. Count a spell?

Speaker: It's a nine from Baal. It doesn't work on breath weapon. Nine from Baal. It's a six from Nick's career. It is a six. and And Robin? Eleventh.

Speaker: Eleventh. Okay. You all take 86 points of lightning damage. ah

Speaker: Reaction. And Chandra LeCard ascends with a remaining movement up to 40 feet. I'm down. Your reaction? My reaction is spitting flame ahead of me very well, preempting this, actually planning for this to happen.

Speaker: And Baal is going to basically belch out flame in front of him in a cone that curls back around and the lightning damage strikes through it and still hits a massive brunt, but he's casting absorb elements.

Speaker: So I become resistant to that lightning damage and take half. What was the overall damage? Sorry. 86, I think. 44. 83, sorry, 83, everyone.

Speaker: Okay, so 41 halved, yeah Obviously we halved and ran it down. Cool, so yeah, Baal takes that. Okay, thank you very much.

Speaker: and That's all she can do. Next, Corral. I'm down. I'm making a death saving throw. You still get to add your d4 from blessed to this because it's still active while you're blessed on the ground. Thanks, mate.

Speaker: Let's do this.

Speaker: And I add my d4. Thank God. ah That's 11. Who's the pass? Yep.

Speaker: Next turn, Sayangar, no longer frightened. What will you do ah Turn and draw two short swords and hold them in dagger-like positions and use the dash action to get as close as you can to Shondralika.

Speaker: And I get somewhere close to the side of Shondralika, but obviously she's also 40 feet in the air. yeah And that's it. He stares.

Speaker: a And that's the end of my day. Flip of the bird. okay Thank you very much. Tharok Sanjari. Sanjari is 25 feet above you. And 10 more feet kind of in that direction. So you can with all your movement get in melee range.

Speaker: Yeah, and Tharok has... Tharok's raging, which means he's not privy to anything other that's happening around him other than big fucking dragon that he wants to fight. So he's going to...

Speaker: bolt towards that dragon and try and take two swings at it with his sword.

Speaker: Go for it. Yep. Sorry, I'm just having to switch back from Robin.

Speaker: You mean clicked on the other tab? 28 to hit. ah but Yeah, I clicked on Robin by accident.

Speaker: Okay, 10 points of s slashing damage.

Speaker: And four points of fire damage on that. Thank you very much. Anything else? Yep. Swing again.

Speaker: miss Okey dokey. ah What I will also do with that first hit is I will sap it, which means the creature has disadvantage on its neck on its next attack roll before the start of my next turn.

Speaker: So the first attack roll Chondrella Carr makes is a disadvantage.

Speaker: But if she's going to do that lightning breath again, and it won't do anything. Hmm. Where's the recharge? Thank you so much. ah Dustin Ghostbane, i.e. Robin.

Speaker: dust um Dustin Ghostbane will take a deep, deep, deep breath and he will for his bonus action, he's going to second wind and just instinctively do that to take some hit points back.

Speaker: He will recover 19 points.

Speaker: Then what he's going to do is he's going to just the energy is going to crackle in his fingers as he breathes in. And he's going to go straight back for one of those force arrows as he goes to take three more shots at Shondralikar.

Speaker: That's a 22 to hit.

Speaker: 22 to hit.

Speaker: You're muted Danny. Meets and

Speaker: Okay, that's 13 points of force damage.

Speaker: Thank you very much. Another one's going to fly towards it.

Speaker: Oh, I've not said this for a while. this Oh, hold on. No, nope no, no. It's the wrong wrong type of fighter. That is a a natural 19, which of course we all know is one off a crit, which means that is a 32 to hit.

Speaker: Holy shit. That hits for damage.

Speaker: That is eight points of force damage. Thank you very much. And then final one.

Speaker: which is a 20 not natural to hit. That misses. Okie dokie. Thank you very much. um What I will add to that is I'm going to add a slow to that so its speed is reduced by 10 feet as it got hit by my bow. I'm a master of that.

Speaker: And what I am then going to do is just... again, try and using his tactical mind is try keep this, this dragon from being able to do that to free of it again. So he's just going to move Northwest and then ready his bow again for the next round.

Speaker: Thank you very much. much a Next up is Prager the Majestic's turn with his blade still drawn, pointing at Chandra Le Carr. Those closest to him... Actually, none of you will looking, but Seth, you'll probably just kind of hear over your left shoulder kind of murmuring in infernal and this kind of glow pulses out of Prego, and his elvish skin begins to change.

Speaker: And he takes on a much kind of more fell appearance. His skin turns to black. kind of green, vile plane-esque veins and fissures on his body kind of appearing.

Speaker: And he's just going to utter a word, this dragon in the sky. And there is this bolt of green light that leaves him and strikes her to see if she passes this.

Speaker: She falls to the ground, immobilized. She is stunned and drops 40 feet and smashes against the floor.

Speaker: And then Prego is going to beeline to Nyx and just pressed rest a hand on his shoulder.

Speaker: Seth, this dragon has just fallen from the sky and is paralyzed in front of you.

Speaker: My turn? Yep. Fuck yeah. ah Seth's gonna mutter something about climbing on the dragon. And then as he's walking up, he's gonna reach for his tab of Shadow Blade and realize there's one more a bit further along than there was before in the fifth level area. and he's going to smile gently to himself and pull that out and the blade's going to form on his hand. Five, 10, 15, 20, 20, 30 feet of movement and I'm going to climb up part of the dragon, maybe not all the way onto the nape of its back, but onto it in some way. And then I'm just going to um just going to wail on it.

Speaker: and just hit it for a few times so I have two attacks with Shadow Blade okay so that's my first one is going to be 23 and my second one is going to be a fucking 10 first one hits Okie dokie. So that's going to be 48, which is 25 points of psychic damage, followed up by a single hit of a scimitar of wounding as an offhand attack, which I can add my normal ah proficiency modified to, so it's a 21 to hit.

Speaker: ah Misses. Fuck. they Ignore the dice. I i pre-rolled. For the first one. Yeah. I've got that one, yeah. This was a yeah second hit. That is bonus action. That is action. That has been done.

Speaker: Thank you very much. Alpha.

Speaker: Alpha's going to look over to Baal. And Baal, if you were to glance-eyed with Alpha, you would kind of see the same fear. that he's had with Shang-Chi Al-Qar before. The same fear with Tolkilon. He's obviously still under the frightened stage, but he's just going to do one quick nod to you. Alpha's going to move back a little bit, probably only about fifteen odd feet.

Speaker: ah to try and put himself behind where this light cart is, and a bit next to Ren. And I'm going to repeat what I did on the boat. I'm going to cast Vortex Warp on Nyx as a 90-foot range, and I can basically move him right next to me.

Speaker: nice as long as in line of sight. ah So that's my action. And then my bonus action is to give him one of the um potions of greater healing that is in the shared inventory.

Speaker: um I fucking love you. 4d4 plus 4. Let's hope this goes down the throat and nice and smooth.

Speaker: 17 points of healing for you, Nyx. Thank you Tasty. And that is all I can do on my turn. So I will make my normal wisdom saving throws.

Speaker: ah One for beta, which is a fucking seven. He would still be using with disadvantage.

Speaker: And I get a natural 20 for myself. a my boy yeah um but um number but the ba Not where I wanted the natural but I'll still take it.

Speaker: I'm presuming that is enough to not frighten you anymore. It's where Daniel's like the DC was 25, bitch.

Speaker: It hits. It was a saving throw against the... um My wisdom saving throw against the frightened condition. Sorry, you both spoke at once there. What did you say? it The natural 20 was my wisdom saving throw for the frightened condition.

Speaker: Sorry. Yes, you are no longer frightened. That's everything I can do.

Speaker: Thank you very much. It is now Bile Valcón's turn. Yeah, it is. Bile's going to kind of ah flinch a bit with his scorched, shocked body. ah Not as badly a hit, obviously, as perhaps the others.

Speaker: And he's going to say, is that all you've got? You pathetic worm! And he's going to shove one hand forwards, flip it palm up, and just point fingers to the air and raise his hand up into the sky and just cast a first level Entangle kind of underneath Shondraddha. So it's a 20-footer. He would do it so that he isn't obviously going to catch his friends within this, so if that means he has to push it back a little bit.

Speaker: um But she essentially has to make a strength save.

Speaker: I'm just checking the stun condition one sec. ah What kind of dex? Sorry, was it dex? Strength. Strength. Automatic fail. Ho, ho, ho, ho. She is now restrained under vines. These vines burst out of the stones underneath her. She will, however, burn is legendary resistance to succeed.

Speaker: There it is. Not a problem. yeah um The spell is still there. So effectively what that does is it turns that area into...

Speaker: ah Let me just double check... it is difficult terrain. So it will half her movement speed. If she's prone there, will half her movement speed as well. Um, with on the floor, as these vines tried to kind of grasp onto her, but she's not restrained. Um, that is his action.

Speaker: Then for his bonus action, what he's going to do is he's going to send his wild fast spirit, uh, Let me just double check the range on what it can do.

Speaker: um But he's going to send his wildfire spirit over to... I think he's going to send it to Nyx, depending on the range. Yes, he's going to send the wildfire spirit kind of over the roof towards Nyx with a mental communication. Not necessarily to do anything, but just kind of stay with him is is what he'll communicate. So the wildfire spirit will move there. And then with disadvantage, it's going to take a ranged flame seed attack.

Speaker: to uh shondralokar it's not likely to hit because obviously it's a disadvantage because it is prone first one was a two so i won't even bother re-rolling um unless you want me to search for the crit fail which i which you all got because i did it anyway ah ah for fuck's sake fuck me there's a crit roll a two and a one maybe roll a d20 for me oh gladly absolutely what could possibly go right it blows up Screw the pooch, baby. D20 is a 12.

Speaker: Nothing happens. Thank fuck. Cool. That's me. That's my turn. Thank you. It is Ren's turn. And Ren, seeing that Seth has put himself in a potentially precarious position, is just going to step back into range, so almost shouldering up with her brother Robin.

Speaker: And is going to cast haste on you, Seth.

Speaker: You are hasted, which means that you ah double speed like another action.

Speaker: ah Your speed is doubled. Your AC goes up by two. You have advantage on Dex saving throws, and you gain and additional action on your turn.

Speaker: You can be only you could only take the attack action with it, the dash, disengage, hide, or use an object action, so can't be like another spell. You are hasted. And that's all she's going to be able to do with her turn.

Speaker: Which takes us to top of the round, Shondralikar, who is going to recover from her stun and is going to unleash a series of attacks around those around her. So she will have multi-attack.

Speaker: She'll bite in two claws. And she's standing up. Yes. Okay. So yeah yeah, it's obviously difficult terrain, it'll be half a movement speed and then... Yeah.

Speaker: Then half her movement speed because she's prone as well. Yeah. So quarter of her movement speed just to be back on her feet. Cool. Yeah. Okay. Here we go.

Speaker: On you...

Speaker: Seth does a 20 hit. It won't after I cast Shield. Bump. Nice. On Therok Sonjari, there's a 24 hit. the sky if that You are still up in the sky. it is a reach of 10 feet.

Speaker: You haven't come back down, so you're you're not going to get struck. Sorry to be a dick, but she's gargantuan in size, isn't she? So technically, that's what, 25 feet in all dimensions? So she would be potentially tall enough to.

Speaker: Theral could be 40 feet in the air. Oh, then never mind. So if she's 20 feet plus 10 is 30, there's still a deficit.

Speaker: So there's one on Sayangar and one on Prego. Sayangar does a 22 hit you. Yes. You take 19 points of slashing damage.

Speaker: I can take it. And he hits Prego. So she hits Prego for 16 points of bludgeoning damage. And that's all she's going to do at this point in her turn, which takes us to

Speaker: Nyx Corral. Nyx, you're back on your feet.

Speaker: She's not a straight air once again. know on the brink of death. Oh, I see where this is going. Holding onto your name. Here we go. Nick's the undying next, the undying to find out we're going to do a thing

Speaker: next week. That's where we are. Until next time. Until next time. Wait, actually, before we do wrap up, I've got some notes for the listeners. hi how you all doing?

Speaker: For the next 10 episodes, we're not going to be following the Bellum Draconis main campaign because it's the summer and we don't have all our cast members here. But as always, we are still dedicated to releasing content every Friday.

Speaker: So we have, for the first time, I'm excited about this, you should be excited about this, he's probably not, we have Callum taking the DM's chair and presenting a little side quest for us.

Speaker: Ten episodes deep, it's still set within the realm of Bellum Juconus, it takes place after Eurion's been fucking murdered, and there's a contingency plan that has kicked off, and the Winged Watch need to respond to it.

Speaker: Callum's our DM, the cast members are the Winged Watched, So please tune in next week to find out what happens there. And then after 10 episodes, unless Callum really needs to go forwards and does like 12 or 15, we're planned for 10.

Speaker: After that, we will be chasing the finale of Bellum Draconis, season two coming to an end. Thank you for listening, tuning in, making us part you every week. We love you for it.

Speaker: Farewell. Farewell.
