urfavoritecoastersux: He was talking about how. Oh, in my experience, most of the time head injuries are, you know... contusions and they're not known they could happen anytime from anything And it's like, dude, you're not a fucking doctor.

That then... doesn't i mean wouldn't maintenance be aware of the investigation that's going on in a way like and then the state would come back and say we found you know the ride the ride's not at fault it was a pre -existing condition type of thing

urfavoritecoastersux: And he's talking about this bullshit about, well, it's contusions and it could happen to anybody for any like you riding a bike and you hit a bump and you experience 12 G's for a millisecond and your body just doesn't respond. And it's like.

Ben: Because I do think that has... I mean, that does seem very common is like. where the people who die on rye like for example like the woman who died on goliath That was definitely like...
Ben: Very clear like the ride did not Kill her. I mean, you could argue, well, the G forces were too strong, but... She could have...
Ben: potentially died. Anyway. And maybe it wasn't even the helix, right? Maybe she passed out. on the mid course or something. I don't know.

Ben: Like temperature what seat you're in if the seat is empty whether you're on the, you know, sitting by yourself on the right side, on the left side, like there's so many variables that. let's say like I don't know, one out of every...
Ben: I don't know, 1000 riders, right? Gets one super unlucky. like force of motion through that raven turn that they just hit their head the absolute wrong way every couple you know whatever every hundred rides every thousand rides And then throw in.
Ben: People who are more or less sensitive to head injuries. It's just like not, it's too... It's too unpredictable. And I mean, even our rides like. when we were rewriting it i felt like every ride had a completely different roughness experience.
Ben: just based on... you know, where you're sitting. and i i mean i got i've gotten cracked on that ride so many times especially in the very back intentionally sitting on the last row outside seat because i love it But...
Ben: every time it every time you go through the raven turn you're just like holy shit i just fucking died I mean not literally, but you know what I mean. Just...
Ben: one time i One time I landed on the seat divider thing, or the little crotch.

Ben: And then it flew back. And then I hit it really hard on the back of my head.

Ben: and all the forces you experience are either going to be Up out of your seat. in your seat or like back you know what i mean like the forces are sustained X2 is really the only ride where you have... or you have forces in all directions.
Ben: forward, backwards, jerking sensations, rocking sensations. it's I mean... Again, just look at an off -ride video and you can see people's legs getting... you know tossed around

Ben: No, and it's I mean, it's really just the the last Raven turn and the and at the back of the train. that it's It's that brief moment. of snap in the back rows that you really only have that roughness.
Ben: The rest of the ride isn't that bad. No different than any other arrow.
