Speaker: Well, hello there. I'm going to give the Love is Blind spoilers for the finale and the reunion. This is a first so for the podcast.
Speaker: I obviously like to cover the toxic men and the toxic women, but I'm just going to go ahead and give the spoilers. So if you don't like spoilers, do not listen to this episode. It is not for you.
Speaker: Okay. um I usually avoid spoilers at all costs. So I like another reality show, for example, and I'm not on the East coast.
Speaker: So what, sorry. So what I did, This past week is I literally uninstalled my social media apps because I was like, under no circumstances am I going to allow people on the East Coast to ruin my show.
Speaker: And... I might do that again this week. I'm not sure. But sometimes it really is that serious. I want to be surprised.
Speaker: I want to be thrilled. I want to be on the edge of my seat. And I cannot do that if I'm reading tweets and I'm seeing all of the videos and commentary all across social media.
Speaker: But this season of Love is Blind was such an epic disaster Rob's crash out is going to go down in history.
Speaker: um Clearly. So I'm like, i effing hate these couples. Point blank period. i don't enjoy this cast.
Speaker: There are some people that I like on the cast, of course. But this like season, if it weren't for Rob's crash out, this season could have gone like crazy.
Speaker: um In the can. Like, they could have canceled this just like they did with The Bachelorette. We didn't need to see this. It was that bad. And it was that bad because the people on this show are so mismatched.
Speaker: we keep We consistently seem to keep getting women who have their shit together paired with men who do not. And it's a waste of our time because if the men were on the same page as the women, we would have a lot more success.
Speaker: The same page aesthetically, um the same goals, but we're just getting men who are inept like John who doesn't want to have anything to do with cleaning, who is sick, but eats or drinks raw milk, which sounds incredibly dangerous and disgusting to me.
Speaker: We get him... um We get Cam, who is broke, living with family, paired with like some engineer bitch or whatever. It's it's an absolute disaster. So anyways, because I was not feeling this show or sorry, this season, going to get into the spoilers.
Speaker: So shout out to Story Time with Ricky. My spoilers are thanks to her. It's so fascinating how she created TikTok and then people connected to Love is Blind are always feeding her spoilers and behind-the-scenes content.
Speaker: And there's this guy, Reality Steve, and the same happened with him for The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. It's fascinating. Like, you can create a A platform. Platform's not the right word.
Speaker: You can create a social media account and have people from a show giving you spoilers. And both Reality Steve and Storytime with Ricky, they are huge successes.
Speaker: I mean, it's just mind-blowing. um So they're just there's people who are very eager to ruin a show. People who are very happy to give these creators all the behind-the-scenes secrets.
Speaker: And Rikki, she's very smart about it. She says she kind of waits to see what happens on the shows before she just runs with what she's told before any episodes air. Because sometimes people have an agenda and they're just trying to make somebody look bad.
Speaker: So she doesn't really share what they're saying. telling her about people she waits and then she also said next season philly love is blind philadelphia is really good and it's crazy because i actually came across a love is blind casting agent last week and they're casting in let me see if i could tell you guys real quick i was just surprised i have to open up a whole new tab one second
Speaker: But I'm like, this show, it makes them it makes Netflix so much money that they... Sorry. Really sorry. That was very loud, very graphic.
Speaker: That they just can't keep... They just keep casting so much. So many cities. And I'm like, are they going to vet these men? Are they going to get...
Speaker: Mentally stable men or what? So, okay, this post, one week ago, this post was made. One week ago. Love is Blind is casting Love is Blind New York City.
Speaker: Love is Blind Georgia. Love is Blind Orlando. Love is Blind Tennessee. Love is Blind Phoenix. And Love is Blind Las Vegas.
Speaker: Why the F are they choosing states? Okay, so they start with New York City. Then they're doing the state of Georgia. Then they're doing Orlando. Okay, another city.
Speaker: Then they're doing the state of Tennessee. So they're doing the entire state of Georgia, the entire state of Tennessee. Then they're doing Phoenix, Vegas.
Speaker: Okay, so cities. Like, what the fuck? What the fuck? So yeah, New York City, Georgia, Orlando, Tennessee, Phoenix, Vegas. ah I don't know. I hate that I love this show. I hate it.
Speaker: I hate that this show is such good TV. I really genuinely do because look at what the fuck we got this season. Like I would love to stop supporting it, right?
Speaker: Okay. All right, y'all, let me talk about these spoilers. So for the finale spoilers, we got Eric and Blake. Erica dumps Blake. She tells him that she can't see herself saying yes to him with their different lifestyles.
Speaker: To me, it was so obvious this was going to happen. And this was the goal of Blake's friends. And I don't think Blake's friends, his female friends that she met were bitchy at all.
Speaker: They were just They cared about Erica and they wanted her to run. Blake is not marriage material. And if he is marriage material, he's certainly not marriage material and father material.
Speaker: Now, when I talk about him possibly being marriage material, I'm talking about within the confines of his bitch, his wife is on the boats with him.
Speaker: Which is what he suggested to her. You could be a cook, right? He does need someone who could watch what he's doing because it's very, very obvious that he is a fuckboy. His friends say it.
Speaker: His family says it. Everybody around him says it. He also clearly has an ex, someone he was having sex with in St. Barts, who did not want to meet Erica. It was very, very obvious because she was not happy that he was getting married. Right.
Speaker: So Blake's friends, when that moment when Erica said, OK, we should just call it when his friend was like, oh, you don't know all the things that are being offered to him. It sounds like he has access to all of the women, all of the drugs, i and God knows what, when he's on these boats.
Speaker: And that's a lot for anyone to want to give up. He's having way too much fun to want to give this up. So he really wasted his time being on this show. And I really hate that he was put on this show.
Speaker: Because how dare you ask someone to make that big of a sacrifice, throw away their entire life to live on a boat, watching you drinking, partying and having sex with random women. No, thanks.
Speaker: Um, what's funny is that Erica, isn't it funny how Erica told Michaela like, oh, to be in your mid thirties and start and have to start over again. That's crippling, bitch.
Speaker: Michaela is two years younger than you, first and foremost. And secondly, you knew you were speaking about yourself being in your mid thirties and having to start over again because Blake is not it.
Speaker: Like the whole time Erica had to know that Blake is not it. I really hope that men have watched Erica on this show and someone will wife her.
Speaker: i really, really hope so. This is a woman who's 35 who's saying that she wants her first kid in three years. Like she's not talking about having kids immediately, which is what Rob and Michaela did.
Speaker: Like she actually wants to give her relationship um time to just be a twosome instead a duo instead of becoming parents and that's really commendable um and she has her shit together so i mean i hope that i hope that she's good and i didn't hear any of that at the reunion but i hope i really hope she has a man I really do. Whether we know about it or not, I hope she has a man.
Speaker: All right. Next, we got Wilney and Wilson. So Wilney and Wilson, the black couple, they go to their bachelor and bachelorette parties. And as you know, like Love is Blind in the U.S., they have been doing these bargain basement bachelor and bachelorette parties, whereas the U.K., it's so extravagant.
Speaker: Anyways, went to their bachelor and bachelorette parties, and then they broke up after. They had their same recycled disagreements about cooking, cleaning, and affection.
Speaker: Wilney says that she doesn't feel, you know, affection from Wilson. Wilson tells her that she needs to grow up. They hug, and she says, this is the tightest you've ever hugged me.
Speaker: Okay, but Wilney... Is a mental health professional, like, how? You know, everybody wants to know how. Because she seems like she needs all the therapy in the world.
Speaker: Her strategy of going on this show and never shutting up about how she only dates white men as if it's a badge of honor. Then she's with a black man.
Speaker: And she just throws herself at him. Won't stop saying she's so lucky. Compliments him nonstop. Is all over him. Wakes him up 12 times a night to kiss him on the neck?
Speaker: And she says because she doesn't feel like she gets affection from him throughout the day. How are you a mental health professional and you don't pick up on the fact that you are not supposed to throw yourself at someone nonstop and present yourself as so pathetic and lucky that this person is with you?
Speaker: Meanwhile, you don't want to cook. You're very proud about not wanting to cook, not wanting to clean. um not feeling fulfilled, not feeling happy, but you want this person all over you.
Speaker: Like she was pouring it on so thick that someone would really have to be obsessed with her to meet her at her level. But she wasn't saying her doing anything to make this man obsessed with her.
Speaker: and I mean, from the beginning, she was just really, really annoying in the pods, telling him his other connection left, she wouldn't stop harassing him because he was talking to someone else that she'll never get over it. How is she a mental health professional?
Speaker: Anyway, i kind of hate how the newer seasons of Love is Blind, people keep on opting out of the weddings and they didn't do that shit in the beginning.
Speaker: It was like and The first, like, what, five, at least four seasons, everybody took the took their shit, took their relationships to the altar.
Speaker: and And now we have so many people just quitting. I want to see these damn weddings. i just do. you know? I hate this.
Speaker: um Next, we have Aneha... Anaya, Anaya, sorry. She has her wedding. She says no at the altar.
Speaker: um Afterward, she says that Cam is still her fiancé because, I mean, she just, she's trying to double down on being fake by saying that. um Cam says to her, or says after, what would it have taken for you to say yes?
Speaker: If Cam couldn't pick up on the fact that she couldn't stand him, then I don't, I don't, I don't know what to say to that man And he is not ready for marriage.
Speaker: He's not ready for marriage. He's not ready for parenthood. I hope that it was the cameras that made him so quiet and shy and...
Speaker: non-confrontational and bland. I hope so. I really hope he has more personality because he seemed to have more personality in the pods, to be honest. But it's like after he was out of the pods, he was just kind of like a shell of himself.
Speaker: Hmm. So next up, we have Sarah and John. They said yes. They got married. Fast forward to the reunion.
Speaker: They were married for almost a year, but they broke up because John was caught sexting. So John went out with Rob.
Speaker: Isn't that an enormous red flag? That John went out with Rob. Rob, who was mocking John's fiancé at the time, Sarah, for crying at the mixer.
Speaker: John went out with Rob and he was he was sexting an escort slash a stripper. Okay. That lets us know that Rob sleeps with escorts.
Speaker: Allegedly, allegedly, allegedly. Like, I think Rob sleeps with escorts. Because why is it that when John goes out with Rob, he is sexting an escort?
Speaker: Like, who introduced him to that world? Right? Allegedly, allegedly. This is just my guesses. um So he had an emotional affair. and He was crying very hard. i don't know what will be shown. I'm just reporting what Storytime with Ricky said.
Speaker: He was crying very hard. He was very emotional. He knows that he messed up um in their marriage. The household chores were also an issue. and then at one point, John's dad yells at Sarah that she goes out every night.
Speaker: Remember, Sarah works in health care and she also bartends. All right. So here's the thing. John has MS. And I could care less that um he's not far along in it being the debilitating disease that it is.
Speaker: Right? He has MS. He was with an amazing woman. an incredible woman who still married him even though he has a degenerative or degenerate disease. I don't know if I'm saying that right.
Speaker: or describing it right, but you know what I mean. And she's beautiful, and she's cute, and she's funny, and she has money, and she's accomplished, and she's sweet, and her family is incredible, her friends are incredible.
Speaker: And he fucked that up. I do not know how many women are willing to take on Being with a man who has MS, getting married with a man who has MS, wanting kids with a man who has MS.
Speaker: I don't know how many of those women exist. And like, I just don't find him attractive. I've said it from day one. Like, my opinion will not change. He sounds like a fucking turtle when he speaks. He sounds like like a frog.
Speaker: He sounds congested. seems feminine to me. light he seems feminine to me I don't give a shit about his muscles. I've seen muscles before.
Speaker: John, I'll see muscles after John. He obviously has some strong, weird-ass views. He drinks raw milk. Like, the raw milk, as you could tell, really is too much for me.
Speaker: He doesn't believe in cleaning. plum He says, why clean his shower? His shower cleans him. Like, He lost the one woman who was willing to marry him.
Speaker: And good luck. I wish him the best of luck. Finding another Sarah. I wish him the absolute best.
Speaker: And now that I'm assuming it's going to air that he was sexting an escort. Good luck, John. Good luck. Like that makes it very hard for him to find someone that whose friends and family are going to co-sign on his on a relationship with him.
Speaker: Because look at what he did to an incredible woman. It's like if John could do that to Sarah. He could do it to you. And why did he feel the need?
Speaker: Why did he feel the need to cheat on Sarah? ah An incredible woman. I mean, guess what, though? Sarah got so lucky because and when you talk about settling...
Speaker: If you look up settling, if you Google it, like John's photo is going to come up. Like Sarah, baby, you can do better. And she's another one that hope people are up in her DMs.
Speaker: I hope men are up in her DMs because that's how some of these people on these shows get married is somebody DMs them. Next, we have Michaela. um So Michaela and the beekeeper, Matt, they dated...
Speaker: They had a messy breakup. They were arguing at the reunion about why they broke up. Michaela says that Matt met her family. Matt says that they ran into her family and there's a difference.
Speaker: I'm really disappointed. It sounds like Matt is an asshole. Excuse me, the beekeeper is an asshole. Every single man I've met named Matt is a piece of shit, though. So I just personally believe that there are some names that you need to retire.
Speaker: and I've not met a good man named Matt at all. Mike as well, but Matt. Anyways, you know, i just...
Speaker: I do think that this show will open doors for Michaela in the romance department. So I just feel like she'll be OK. I started following her on Instagram. The bitch better hurry up and announce that she got a new man. I am ready for her glow up.
Speaker: Next, we find out that Jackson's two are just friends. We really did not need all of that. fake, weird together, clickbait shit that the editors were doing.
Speaker: We didn't need it. It was kind of fun, but we didn't need it. Guess what, though? Jax, or sorry, Stu deserves a better woman than Jax. Because what Jax did to Stu is unforgivable.
Speaker: And Jax was talking about how her friends and family say that she should be with him. That means that she was trying to force herself into a relationship with him that she didn't want.
Speaker: So she... But or sorry, Stu deserves a woman who wants him and Jax doesn't. So I just, I kind of hate that they're friends though, because I just have a feeling that Stu is secretly hoping that they're going to get back or that they're going to get together. And I don't see that happening.
Speaker: So I hope, really, really hope that Stu is not secretly hoping for reconciliation. And I hope that Jax is not using him. Because I can see Jax hanging out with him and having him pay for things. Like, she just gives that energy. Even though she doesn't want anything to do with him romantically, i really hope he's not being used just to...
Speaker: Like for her to vent to and hang out with when she does not want him. Meanwhile, he's confused and hoping. i hope that's not the case. Next up, we have we find out that Wilney and Wilson are also friends.
Speaker: I doubt that they're, like, legit friends. So I have to see the reunion. I doubt it. to me, I'm sorry. Wilson seems so annoyed by her. I think that maybe they just say that. I just, I would have to see the body language and what they actually say about their status today for me to believe that.
Speaker: Next up, also... Cam said that he would have said no to Anaya or Anaya, whatever. Anaya, how she spells her name and how it's pronounced are two different things.
Speaker: Cam said he would have said to Anaya at the altar. Excuse me. And I would hope so. Cam seemed miserable for a while, though, so I i fully believe him.
Speaker: And Anaya's mom and sister were at the reunion. I'm glad I get to see what her mom looks like. Next up, we find out that John, he really was dragged for, you know, what he did to Sarah for cheating on her, for sexting, emotional cheating.
Speaker: But guess what? No one takes Rob to task for his behavior. They have a conversation about him being drunk and rude, and they leave it at that. So I believe that they are afraid that Rob might self-harm. That's what some people were saying, that um at one point, he kind of may have... I think that there just may be concerns about his mental health.
Speaker: Yeah, because I'm sorry, Vanessa comes for men who do far less, as does Nick, than what Rob did. So I think that maybe they're just afraid that he'll self-harm. And I think they also know that the audience is...
Speaker: The audience is so mad at him forever. And his friend, the Mr. Dilated Pupils, John, who was over-the-top disgusting with Michaela, he had to he shut down his Instagram, apparently.
Speaker: Because he is a business owner of a successful bar. And I think a pizza place too. but Or just the bar makes good pizza. he's He's successful. And he had to shut down his Instagram.
Speaker: I guess he's getting review bombed too. I don't feel bad for him at all. He had cameras in his face. He was allegedly coked up. He had cameras in his face.
Speaker: He has three young daughters. He is absolutely disgusting. I'm so glad that they aired everything they aired about him. Like, what a disgrace.
Speaker: What an embarrassment to his wife and daughters. He's so, so nasty. I just, I'm so glad I don't have to see his short ass on my screen again. And then someone from the show is engaged.
Speaker: One of the cast, female cast members is engaged and not with not with somebody from the show. i have no idea who the hell that is. um Ricky doesn't like to give spoilers for those huge, huge announcements.
Speaker: But I'm so glad. I'm so thankful that I found all these spoilers because you know how Netflix drops these episodes at midnight? Now I don't got to stay up and and oh I'll watch it when i when I get to it. It doesn't sound like anything too great happened.
