Speaker: During what Archer believed to be a routine spiritual healing session, Jor Davy gradually steered the conversation into intimate sexual territory. yeah He had to suck the demons out of her pussy. I was just going to say, this guy's packing some heat. That's why these ladies are following him you' You're very close to the mark, Sam.
Speaker: I want to take a second to toot my own horn. is I feel like when I interject with... it's Just like you or Davey did on that call.
Speaker: Hey, everybody. Welcome to another episode of Growing Up Christian. I'm Sam. I'm Casey. And I'm Jesse. Jesse's back. Hey. It's been a little bit. It's been a while. It's been.
Speaker: It's really it I'm super excited. I was very excited. When first case, he was like, he's not actually going to make it. And I was like, oh, bummer. And then, like, last minute, he was like, he has free time.
Speaker: And I got very excited. We've tried to make this work several times. And this is just always fun with friends, man. Thanks. for being Yeah. Happy to be here. Dude, Jesse has the most eclectic hat collection the world.
Speaker: It's rocking the Streets of Rage hat. what's Which rules? Is that Street Fighter? No, Streets of Rage is a Genesis game. There's actually three of them. It's like a... You ever play Double Dragon? Yeah, yeah. It's like that, but better.
Speaker: Okay. yeah Yeah. Kind of like that, like that, the good Ninja Turtles game. Right. Yeah. Like side scroller sort of thing. Got like killer soundtrack. That beat them up shit. Yep.
Speaker: I, yeah I never, I wasn't a Sega kid. I wasn't either. i would go, I would go over a princess that had a Sega and I didn't, the Nintendo was always the hit for me. Like the games that Nintendo was putting out was my jam. Sega. I would go over my friends. house I remember a game called vector man. i am Oh, Vector Man ruled, yeah. That game was sick, dude.
Speaker: Guy made out of balls. yeah yeah I played Vector Man on your little ah handheld quite a few times. Yeah. Streets of Rage came with my Genesis, i I think. That was like the first game I got for that system. but Dude, that was back when systems came with games. I feel like that was the thing i'm up until N64.
Speaker: Well, even the Switch. Even the Switch it was coming with... ah Mario Kart. But you could get it without Mario. Yeah, that's true. i feel I felt like for until like up through N64, it was just like Nintendo was always like, we're giving you a first party content game with your system. and I mean, they skipped the GameCube, but then they did it with the Wii because they had we Sports, which was like oh yeah everyone's favorite game for that system. Yeah.
Speaker: i had ah I had a Genesis, but I also had a Game Gear, like the little handheld Sega deal. I remember that. Yeah. It was awesome. I had like, i remember I had Aladdin and ah the Jungle Book and And what was, oh, the Lion King game was really fun for that. Now, what was interesting, because now when a game comes out and it goes across all systems, it's the same game.
Speaker: Right. But there are differences between the Super NES Aladdin and the Sega Aladdin. It did it with lot of games. Yeah. Yeah. And it would they like built different games for them, essentially. Right.
Speaker: It was pretty interesting. And I was always a bigger, like I've gone back and this is probably just like the nostalgia thing of what I remember, but I did go back and with your little handheld, I i did Aladdin and it was it was different than the Super NES version I played.
Speaker: I had this Super n NES Mickey game and you would like, you could switch between different Mickey characters, I believe. I think I rented that when I was a kid. Yeah, it was cool. It was a like Castle of Illusion or something like that.
Speaker: Oh, maybe like the first the first level was like a carnival theme thing. It was ah it was cool. There was Clayfighter. remember playing. Yeah, it was like a 63 and a third or whatever. Yeah, the 64 one with Sumo Santa. Yeah, I thought that was the funniest thing in the world. There was the clown in it. What was the clown's name?
Speaker: Doink? right I thought it was Doink. thought it was Doink, but was Doink the Clown the guy in the wrestling games? Was he the wrestler? don't remember. I thought it was Doink the Clown, but I'm not sure. It might have been. it was um I feel like there was a wrestler who did the whole clown thing. because One of them had that Earthworm Jim in it as like an unlockable character or whatever. That's so sick.
Speaker: Earthworm Jim! I always think that like when I would go back and get into those kind of... like I always think... a I always feel like I can go back and get into old games and I'll like throw on a super NES game. And then I'm like, after like 30 minutes, I'm like, I don't need this. I, yeah this isn't actually fun. And there's a lot of them that I'm like, Oh, I always wanted to play this. And I, yeah, same thing where i'm like, I'm like an hour into it.
Speaker: I am. There's no way I'm going to play the rest. yeah Dude, go into the video store when you're a kid. Like your parents were like, all right, you can rent a game for the weekend or something. That was like,
Speaker: It was like an ecstatic feeling. Yeah. these like guys Oh my God. Back and forth. Try not to pee your pants. Cause you're so excited about picking out a game, but you don't want to make the wrong choice. Yeah. occasionally you would pick one that ah Sucked.
Speaker: Yeah. I remember getting like an Adams family game. That was awful when I was like six, I rented a lot of, um, ah bat I think it was battle tanks. I think that was a great game.
Speaker: And, um, there was like the sandbox. It was like out in the backyard style, like the green army men shooters. Oh oh yeah. Play it up. You like shoot it out at a playground or some shit and everything's huge and you're small. That was fun. That one was awesome. Yeah, I had Sarge's Heroes. Yeah. That was fun game. Do you guys remember a game called Conker's Bad Fur Day?
Speaker: Oh, yeah. I never actually played through the whole thing, but I played a decent amount of it. That was like a naughty game, wasn't it? Oh, it was the only game that blockbusters. If you go back and play it now, it's not that bad. It was it was the only game that blockbuster that had like a blackout on it. It was like, yeah cannot rent this if you're under 17 years old. Oh, so funny.
Speaker: and yeah And it's like degenerate childish humor. like yeah It's like Banjo-Kazooie where he drinks beer. Yeah, it's like eighth grade shit. Like if the bear was Steve-O.
Speaker: Yeah. it's like the giant poop monster and shit like that you're like yeah this is funny when you're a kid but you had to be 17 or have a parent with you to rent it i had a friend whose parents didn't care what he played so like that's where i got into all the all the grown-up games this is where i played gta that's where yeah i used his dreamcast to use the search engine to look up porn um No search history, plausible deniability. That's not my dream cast. I didn't do it. yeah there was some There was some naughty games back then. I don't remember when they kicked in, but maybe you were around PlayStation or something like that because there was like Leisure Suit Larry. that was Did that come out on a console or is that only a PC game?
Speaker: ah No, it was on a console. It probably was. Or like BMXXXX that was on GameCube. Yeah. dayward I never played that either. Dead or Alive Beach Volleyball. Dead or Alive, dude. Dead or Alive was a good fighting game, and then they did the beach volleyball, and you're like, this is just for this is just to be horny.
Speaker: I hate to protest this. Yeah. They released one, i think it was on PSP, that was like Dead or Alive Paradise. I don't know anything about it, but I'm pretty sure it was like, it wasn't like a fighting game or a volleyball game. It was literally just like a waifu game. ah It's funny. I'll go through my Nintendo Switch and like, you know, you go on to look through games like what's on sale.
Speaker: And um ah Nintendo has a lot of weird like Japanese, like sexy games. It's like the the online store. Yeah. It's a hu it's crazy. was I was like looking for games for my kids and I'm scrolling through. I'm like, I'm scrolling a little faster. Like, you don't want like their kids to be like, what's that? You know? Yeah. They have some weird shit on there. It's it's wild. um ah It's like there's no... They don't even like approve it. It's just like anybody makes a game, they're like, yeah yeah, yeah, just put it on, put it on. Yeah, it's like open source. like
Speaker: it's not like the app It's not like the Apple App Store. It's more like the the Android App Store. yeah it's like it's like the Silk Road if you had ah if you had it plugged into your ah yeah yourre PlayStation or whatever. Yeah.
Speaker: Oh, so ah we have a variety of topics to touch on tonight. The GUC variety show. Yes, I have been ah man I have just been turning up nuts online left and right.
Speaker: It's been a lot of fun. I'm just going to say, is that like a euphemism for jerking off? I've been turned up nuts left and right, bro. No, I just like its my algorithm is like so perfect nowadays that like it's just it just feeds me like ah nutty religious people.
Speaker: Yeah. Like i people with Down syndrome and white dudes who say the N word. Yeah. I'm on that premium feed. I'm hooked into like the truth social like ah for you page. Yeah.
Speaker: You get a lot of people who think that they're Jesus or think that they're talking directly to Jesus. That's cool. Like this bull cut guy from West Virginia. Oh, just saw that one. I just saw that one on your story.
Speaker: I've been reading people's minds for six months now. I'm coming dog.
Speaker: and i want odd women oneoff screaming i in fight because i know i got you right and not not let's get this shit popping a cops watch this shit hey pop i'm common dog he He kind of sounds like Andrew Tate, but stupid. Like Andrew Tate. was like, so Andrew Tate. Yeah. But he got this like Andrew Tate, but intellectually disabled kind of sound.
Speaker: Yeah, he does have a little bit of that vibe. He's like a very unsuccessful ah human trafficker. like Trying to get into the game at the at the at the ground level.
Speaker: And then i was kind of upset because this lady, I found this lady last night and before I could post, I was like, I have to be first in line to this lady like this. I can I can be the one to introduce her to the ah to the broader public. But then Christian Nightmares posted her this morning before up. like, no.
Speaker: But this lady, she she has like a Jewish horn and so far. Yes, she has a shofar. She has a couple of them. And it was making me think about the fact that like.
Speaker: Boomers really like to, they'll like read into a culture long enough to find one thing that they can pull out and then they're done. That's enough. Yeah, that's that's it. That's what they do.
Speaker: That's how they all end up with dream catchers and... You know, salt lamps. They do that with the Bible. They're like, oh, I like this one thing. I'm going to just harp on that at other people's expense and forget about all the things I'm doing that are directly criticized by it. Yeah.
Speaker: I'm just going to take this completely out of context and use it for my own gain. And sometimes the context actually sucks too. Let's be clear. That's fair. That's fair. Sometimes the context is slavery is cool and that's not the context I'm great with. Yeah.
Speaker: Well, this lady's in Virginia Beach, I think. And she really kind of builds up to the horn, you know, like she's talking a lot about it and like she's given her prophetic words and stuff like that. And she's ah I think she's trying to but bless Virginia with it. So I was like I was interested because it's like a ram's horn type thing. So I'm like, what is this thing going to sound like? I'm kind of curious, you know, what do you do with it? Like i'm looking at pictures. there's a couple of different ones that's like, what is it? What is the purpose?
Speaker: You blow it before the Lord comes back. Yeah, i think ah I think in this context, you bless your scratch-off tickets with it.
Speaker: Yeah, it's a bit of a letdown when she finally does blow it. Lift up your heads, all ye gates, and be looking at the everlasting doors. Come in, King of Glory. Come in, Lord of Hosts.
Speaker: Is that Squidward playing the trumpet? yeah I mean, the clarinet? It sounds like she's hunting and she's in the woods doing a call of some sort. Some bird call. Let's get a nice blast here.
Speaker: Isn't it crazy? Here comes a turkey. Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Yeshua HaMashiach!
Speaker: She just gets fucked by a flock of birds after all.
Speaker: It's kind of like Have you ever heard like a moose call? Oh, yeah. Yeah. It's sort of like a moose call. Yeah. and they'll They'll be in the woods. and It's funny because it's such a dangerous animal.
Speaker: Like it's an animal you do not need to get close to. yeah People I knew from church back in high school, their family was driving in a van and they came to a stop and a moose came out from like the side like just the woods on the side of them and just rammed into their van.
Speaker: Scared the shit out of them. I would imagine so. probably didn't even make truck you maybe not. Yeah. You might just been running out. Like a deer runs into the road right before you hit it. Moose run like Ryan far. They run like they hit growth spur all in one year. It's like gangly wobbly walk. It's like a newborn deer.
Speaker: We had this guy named Ryan that went to our school that was like just knees and elbows. He was like 6'2 and 110 pounds. god And dude, they just they just went everywhere like a... That was awful. character Yeah.
Speaker: We used to make fun of this kid. Oh, go ahead. He would, uh, we would play soccer and he would always like wind up for a big kick and miss the ball and like kick your shin oh where he always, ever always kicked our teacher in the nuts.
Speaker: yeah He kicked our teacher in the nuts like, like 40 times. Are you sure he wasn't doing it on purpose? If it was anybody else, you would have watch. If he had ever done anything that looked coordinated, I would have thought so. but He moved like he needed a full body brace.
Speaker: man
Speaker: What a character. Yeah, this lady also i forget if I have this video or not. Let me see if this is the one. But she ah she dude, I am.
Speaker: I'm really like fascinated by. OK, do you remember growing up when you would talk about like doctrine and heresy and they dip into revelations you know and there's that whole section where it's like if you add on to this book i'll add on to you the 10 plagues or whatever you take away from the book i'll take your name out of the book of life like yeah yeah everybody plays a little fast and loose with certain pieces of it but like i was always kind of deathly afraid of like doing like adding something that wasn't there.
Speaker: It made you afraid of quote-unquote misinterpreting scripture. Of course, at the time, we didn't realize that that's all they were doing. The only way it's ever been interpreted is misinterpreted. Right.
Speaker: Yeah. this I'm like fascinated by the amount of like just scriptural Mad Libs that these people are playing online. Yes. like There's just...
Speaker: anybody who starts Anybody who mentions demons in a video, dude, I don't know where they're getting their information, but they are so confident in it. it's It's crazy how much they like – the conviction with which they say things that you know are made up out of thin air.
Speaker: Right. Yeah, I mean because that's – but that's what like all – I feel like that's what all that is, is like you're – when people read it, like even our like pastors and this and that, like they might've gone to some like Southern Baptist seminary or done something like that. But at the end of the day, like they really, they're really like, they walk into it with a, with certain held beliefs and they just go, how can I interpret this in a way that I can validate how right I already am.
Speaker: And that's just like, it's inevitable that that's what people will do when they don't really, they don't care. Like that's just what the, that, the Bible is a tool for them to like propagate their own beliefs. That's why they start churches. They're like, I go to this church. I've been going for 20 years, but I have different ideas about things. So I'm going to start my own. It's like non-denominational shit is just, it again, I make this comparison all time. It's Dungeons and Dragons for Christians. It really is. It's like the most perfect like metaphor. you ever Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker: The ah there's there's just like you can watch like 30 different people who are casting out demons or talking about them and they just like say just completely different stuff from each other. And this lady with the ah the Jew horn, she's like, is that not appropriate terminology?
Speaker: i mean, probably not, but. Maybe it's accurate. I don't I think Bibi Netanyahu blows it every time they kill a Palestinian, though, so it's fine. That guy would never stop blowing it. 24-7.
Speaker: We can see how well that guy can blow. geez ah Lung capacity. like You get the iron long, dude. That dude can swim underwater for seven minutes straight. Listen to clips of... ah of like come down and Nick Mullen and stuff like that because I think he's just like the funniest guy in the world and he was he got his start is he still on that no that that podcast is over but he was yeah he was one of the three it was him Nick Mullen and and Adam Friedland but after that they did Adam Friedland show just Nick and Adam and
Speaker: during it They lost their Bluetooth sponsorship because during an ad read, Nick Mullen suggested that Hamas might have been on Bluetooth during...
Speaker: ah
Speaker: yeah
Speaker: That's so crazy. so That the government is is of Israel is that intertwined with Bluetooth is hilarious.
Speaker: Oh, boy. Yeah. Yeah, apparently they didn't like that ad read. So... Crazy, insane...
Speaker: insane Oh, yeah, I guess I didn't download the clip, but basically that old lady, there's the there's a clip of her talking about ah spiritual foxes.
Speaker: I didn't know was a thing. She pulled some Song of Solomon verse out or something like that, and she's like... you know, you have to be aware of spiritual foxes. And you you think of that as like, okay, somebody says something like that. You're like, okay, this is like, she's using foxes as an example of this or that, you know, like there's some sort of meaning tucked in there. You're like, oh, they they kill chickens or whatever. They like they so they sneak around.
Speaker: not surets She wants to be creative and clever. Like we already have an analogy called wolves in sheep's clothing. And she's like, I have to come up with something new to maintain relevancy. Yeah.
Speaker: Exactly. yeah She suggests, or she was like, went on this long tangent about spiritual foxes and she literally is like, yeah, there's like these demons who are spiritual foxes and God has hunter trapper angels that are specifically for catching the spiritual foxes. And then she's like, for example, one of my team, my teenage daughter, she was going prodigal.
Speaker: And this is like, this is twenty first century. Um, Ugh. Shit. I lost it. Fuck. I hate when that happens. Go ahead.
Speaker: Yeah, she just like went on this big thing about how like her so her daughter was like falling away from the Lord, and she knew that like her daughter was raised right and knew the truth and stuff, so there must be an explanation for this. And she's like...
Speaker: I had a dream. God came to me in a dream and he told me that there was a spiritual fox in in our midst. I had this dream of a fox chasing my daughter around my garage and we were having a birthday party and I discerned that one of her friends from school was the spiritual fox. And so I had to drive her out.
Speaker: Nice. I got 21st century black cat. All right. who Yeah, there we go. But yeah, so basically she just went nutso on like one of her daughter's teenage friends. That's cool. It's always cool to like just berate a teenager online.
Speaker: even Some people go to jail for that, but.
Speaker: So she's fun. um But I've been, okay I've been looking at a lot of stuff about, I really want to know some more about what's going on at 5F Church.
Speaker: Yes. Which is Catherine Crick. There's, i've I've been seeing a lot more shit come up about how much of a cult it is, how wild it is, how,
Speaker: Like anyone who tries to try to get a whiff of it and like go public online about it. is like they it there's more people who finding an interest in it and wanting to like kind of blow the lid off of what they've got going on there. i don't, I mean, I don't know of any like major scandals or anything like that yet, but people, people have a, have a close watchful eye on it and it is absolutely coming to them. Like that something's going to, someone's going to blow the lid off of something fucked up for there for sure.
Speaker: Well, okay, so it already has started to happen. Okay. So, Catherine Crick is ah on ah ah she's like an acolyte of this pastor who's like an apostle and a prophet and stuff in Tanzania named Gior Davy.
Speaker: And um it's been very hard to find anything about this guy. And in the midst of me looking like that's when the story broke, there was allegations against him. Okay. Of ah misconduct and using his influence for, you know, to mistreat women and stuff like that.
Speaker: But there's just like, you watch videos. Why does anyone get into religion? Right. You're like... He has all these like young white women that he i really want to rape with impunity.
Speaker: i should start a cult. Yeah. Before, even before the allegations came out, like he has like Catherine Crick's by far the most successful of his like little acolytes that he has, but he has several women that are prophets and they're, you know, prophesying on his behalf and he's their spiritual father. And it's all women.
Speaker: i think it was. Yeah, I think it was mostly women. It was like a handful of white women. But he kind of, I mean, he's just like an unassuming looking little guy with a mustache. And he has some sort of church where he prophesies and stuff in like Tanzania. So I don't know how Catherine ended up over there, how she ended up like, you know, here getting the call and stuff. But there's very weird videos of her like kneeling in front of Gior Davi and like talking about how like...
Speaker: You know, he's our you. You are our father. They call him Baba, which I guess means ah father in Swahili or something like that. It sounds right. I wonder if your buddy that was on that we had on ah has any ideas about him.
Speaker: Sam's a buddy or my buddy. I don't have any buddies. They're all on this chat right now.
Speaker: ah I'm curious as to which buddy. Phil? You talking Phil? Yeah, yeah, yeah, Phil. He was Uganda, though. Phil was in Uganda. what Aren't they, like, next door? Are they? I'm bad geography. I don't think so at all.
Speaker: I think they're opposite sides. You could have told me anything, and I would have believed it. That is, like, such a white person thing to do is to be like, I wonder if your buddy from the other side of Africa knows anything about this guy. Yeah.
Speaker: It's the size of your mall of like the East side mall. To be fair, the U S spans an entire continent from left to right. So when you would meet people, I feel like it'd be easy to think something like that here where it's like, Oh, this person's from the U S that person, from the us Hey, do you happen to know who so-and-so is?
Speaker: And, uh, we're in the same country. So, you know, maybe, it maybe it's slightly fair. Maybe. or not. Yeah. So she she has like some weird videos from way back in the day where she's like, the world will only know Jesus through you. You're the only thing that can save the, you know, the human race. And, you know, we are indebted to you forever. We love you and we honor you, which is just a theme within this group.
Speaker: you know, for being a Christian church and, you know, where you're supposed to honor Christ and not take any credit for anything and stuff like, dude, people are just like, I mean, they just never stop singing the praises and adorations of Catherine Crick. And the irony is I've, I've gone on the podcast Instagram and seen like, I'll see like notifications and it's reactions to a comment that you make on a five effort Catherine Crick post. Um,
Speaker: about how you made a comment on one about how God healed, ah how Catherine healed you from something ridiculous. do you remember what it was? The Titus. I made this post.
Speaker: I'm like, oh, thank you, Apostle Crick. she She played hands on me and she healed my hepatitis, so I don't have to tell any of my romantic partners I have it anymore. and the ah All the comments on it were like,
Speaker: only Jesus heals. Jesus is healing through Catherine. Don't give anyone but God the glory and blah, blah, blah. And so the irony of all the people commenting that juxtaposed to the, to her really being the one, like regardless of her words that she'll say, like it's so, it's so much showmanship and pageantry that like it, it's clear that she's trying to make it about her. um And for all those types of people, it's like, it's for the commenters to say that is like, now I know you're actually really stupid. Like you don't, you don't, you believe what you want. Like you it's, it's clear as day. I mean, not to get super political all a sudden, but like, it's like with Trump when people are like, I can't believe how bad things got. It's like, I don't know. I can think of thousands of people who told you this is exactly what would happen if you voted for the guy. And you're like,
Speaker: um Who saw this coming? You're like, a lot of fucking people did. Like, talking to anyone who just is like, like in that sphere of, I'm using a person to justify my beliefs because I'm such like a weak and impotent person that I'm meaningless without something else proving that I'm correct or like in the Christian sphere or the Catholic Christian. It's like,
Speaker: you you I don't even know if you believe, like, it sounds like you're trying so hard to believe it because if you if this isn't true, then you have nothing, which is sad. Like, I can actually feel bad for those people. But, like, also, stop ruining our fucking country and thousands of people and propagating psychopaths.
Speaker: I think that's what I keep coming back to too with the people in my life that are, you know, still making excuses for Trump and stuff is like, I think in their minds, like this is the last shot that the U S has. And to admit defeat here is to basically say that like America's unredeemable and it's like, trump buddy, I'm giving up on the iron war. gameable Yeah, for real. Yeah.
Speaker: Greatest country in the world. Anyways. um
Speaker: So there are some allegations around Gior Davies. So I'm going to run through some of this article here. This is by B. Schofield. Came out August 10th in Guru Meg.
Speaker: Melissa Archer, one of the whistleblowers at the center of the scandal surrounding Catherine Crick's 5F church, is speaking out and releasing audio from a private deliverance, quote unquote, session she had with self-proclaimed prophet Gior Davies.
Speaker: During what Archer believed to be a routine spiritual healing session, your Davey gradually steered the conversation into intimate sexual territory. yeah He had to suck the demons out of her pussy. I was just going to say this guy's packing some heat. That's why these ladies are following him.
Speaker: it's You're very close to the mark, Sam. I want to take a second to toot my own horn. is I feel like when I interject with facetious jokes. Just you or Davey did on that call. I feel like when I interject with faceious facetious jokes, there's like an 80% chance you're going to be like, you're pretty close. You do hit the next bit a lot.
Speaker: Maybe you got a prophetic word. Yeah. Maybe I just have been around these types of people long enough to know that their, their end game is horse shit. up up i'm getting a yes you' getting a word from the Lord.
Speaker: Oh, okay. It's assault. Yeah.
Speaker: So he began by asking if she had any weird dreams and then led into questions about men and if they'd ever made sexual advances. He told her, among the men I see in the spiritual realm, no one tried to enter you from behind.
Speaker: my God. My real question here is, what is that accent, Casey? just I'm doing my best. All right. All right. All right.
Speaker: He has like a very, you know, you think like, okay, this guy has a lot of followers. This must be a dynamic figure, at least an entertaining. This is a Kenneth Copeland type guy, right?
Speaker: Yeah. He's a moron, but he is an entertaining moron. G.R. Davey is boring. He is a boring guy. He just tries to be too spiritual in a way that's not eccentric enough.
Speaker: Yeah, he needs a little more flair. Yeah. He needs to pretend to like slice his hand open and bleed on the altar and, you know, Kenneth Copeland stuff. Even a little COVID-19.
Speaker: ah blow myself and my friends. um He also instructed her to touch her breasts and vagina and asked whether she had pubic hair.
Speaker: ah He claimed he could see spiritual tags and and witchcraft instructions attached to her body involving sexual acts.
Speaker: Well, the pubic hair question is important because if your pubic hair is long enough, the demons can't slip down the front of your pants. They get caught up. I thought it was the opposite. I thought pubic hair held the demons in.
Speaker: Okay. It gives us something to grab onto. Okay.
Speaker: yeah ah We went to different churches, I guess.
Speaker: Yeah. Lutheran versus Catholic. yeah
Speaker: ah At several points, Gior Davie pressed Archer about whether women had ever been sexually interested in her, eventually telling her that he could see a spiritual message attached to her that read, sex with women only.
Speaker: yeah oh He has an interesting take on the on the scriptures. Yeah, he's a... See, it just seems like a lot of that. um He says, Archer is adamant that she did not seek Dior Devi's guidance about sex or relationships. I absolutely did not go to him to ask about relationships or sex or sexual trauma, she said in an interview with Guru Magazine.
Speaker: She made the same distinction regarding a separate exchange in which Dior Devi asked whether she was, quote-unquote, wet. Oh, my oh God. Yeah, he's like very icky. Say it with your sing it with your accent.
Speaker: Are you wet?
Speaker: is it a This is a dude who clearly does not understand the like women. He he he genuinely believes that just being in his presence is like a good good chance that they're going to get wet. and He's like...
Speaker: Are you? Are you now? How about now? Like, he thinks that that is that's working. It's like, touch your pubic hair. Now tell me if you're wet. Shake the demons out. Shake the demons out. Yeah, he he kind of talks on one-on-one calls as if he's like commenting on ah on like an Instagram model's post. Can you... can you Sexy baby.
Speaker: does he does he Does he do phone calls? can you ah Show Bob's end of a gene. Can you Zoom with this guy to have him... how Have him help you spiritually? I don't think so. I mean, not with men anyways.
Speaker: just kiss you have the wrong gender. Yeah. do you want to ah Do you want to hear one of the calls? Oh, God. I think I got some audio here. want you to touch your vagina.
Speaker: Like, go straight down. Do you have hairs down there in your V? No. In your V? in that i don't think he knows where the hair grows.
Speaker: there that in the name of jesus i cleanse this oh my god a a very specific cleansing is the woman on the call the one who blew the whistle Yes.
Speaker: So she wasn't. i This was a setup. No, this lady was all in, I think. oh And she decided to blow the whistle on him. OK, good for her. She rules.
Speaker: That's crazy, man. But who recorded that? Like she was recording the call then. i'm I'm assuming this happened a lot and she was like, all right, had enough of this. Yeah. and also maybe it been It could have been like, ah if he says anything I want to remember, I'm just going to record it.
Speaker: yeah Yeah. That could also be. Yeah. In case they forget how to get the demons out of the beat.
Speaker: She's like, I might need to recall some of this later. I want you to touch a down there. All right. I see why you did that accent. Like now that I hear the voice, I didn't i didn't know that was the accent for, where is he? Tanzania. Where is he from?
Speaker: Tanzania, I think. I didn't know that was a Tanzanian accent. So, Honestly, not bad, Casey. Thank you. I appreciate that. I don't know what as white men we're supposed to do accents, but I think that's fine now. I think that's coming back a little. You can only do white guy accents. It's either redneck or Irish. You don't have any other options.
Speaker: I really feel you're accused of, like, sexual assault. Like, it's no holds barred. Now, to push back, Jesse, to push back, a lot of people, like ah Hispanic people, if you're if they're filling out that ah the U.S. s like race and race and ethnicity thing, it's it's non-white or it's it's often white Hispanic.
Speaker: That is true So does that mean a Mexican accents are back? I think it depends on how tan you are. Yeah.
Speaker: Dude, if Jeff Dunham hears that, he's going to flip out. He's like pulling out the jalapeno. yeah but jeff Jeff Dunham's career is built on doing accents for puppets.
Speaker: yeah That's what's funny to people about it. it's It's certainly humor catered to a certain age range. People who who still think that um the 9-11 narrative is authentic. They're like, yeah, show us the skeleton that wants to blow up Americans. Oh, that guy's funny.
Speaker: Yeah, if you're if you're still listening to Bill O'Reilly at this point, like you probably Jeff Dunham's your favorite comedian. This one says this one says witchcraft instruction.
Speaker: Because I see two people that had instruction like uh witchcraft instruction to speak things before they sleep with you that when their penis goes in you dude's jealous it will own you for the the when they
Speaker: okay
Speaker: delivered you already but I just wanted to say to bring the meaning of what you heard me say when they suck your breast dude katherine do you think Catherine Crick had sex with this man yes yeah absolutely oh my god or at least there was some like clumsy fondly what I don't like is that you're making me feel like she's a victim and I don't want her to be I need her to just be a terrible person
Speaker: Yeah, it's kind of like that chick from Smallville, though, that recruited girls for NXIVM. It's like, once you start victimizing other people, like, meh. Yeah, that's fair. feel less sorry for you.
Speaker: Yikes. Okay, let's do let's do one more of these. Let's see. Let's try Attraction with Women. Will you never encounter any woman that wanted, felt something?
Speaker: now yeah mean like what do you mean like like three years ago four years ago up to now when you are talking about these other men men men thing you never saw or encountered a woman that was also interested like looked at you interested in sexuality um three years ago yes this sounds like she's acting is this sounds like she's trapping him i mean i didn't i didn't i didn't have any interest in a female i'm trying to think of any females that were in my life but is this phone sex for this guy yeah like in a sexual but in a sexual way yes of course um of course
Speaker: Yeah, I think he's squeezing his little bishop and in the middle of that. Yeah, she also turned over like a bunch of text messages between him and her. And like, you know, I don't know, maybe she was knowingly like collecting them for that purpose or or what. But she's not really like but she's certainly not like baiting him into sexual conversation. Like she's just talking normally and he keeps taking the conversation in that direction, you know?
Speaker: And he's like talking about paying her $200. Like he offered her a blessing. And she like, at one point she asked him to clarify like why he had asked her about, I think like why he had asked her about being wet and stuff.
Speaker: And you can see the guy like still trying to soft pedal it while also like keeping his guard up. But he's like, That's just because i the because when we talk, I'm speaking in the spiritual realm, not in the physical realm.
Speaker: And spiritually, the prophet can see you naked. yeah Yeah, that makes it better. i'm way less ah like Way less uncomfortable. I think his main concern is that when people are wet, it's a lot easier for demons to slip in. Yeah.
Speaker: Right. Yeah. and So I'm starting to connect to the dots a little bit. You know, demons and the satanic, they're always about corrupting the divine, right?
Speaker: God made your body to produce these natural lubricants, but Satan and the demons use it to their purposes to slide into your, your vagine, your VMs, your Jonas. Yeah.
Speaker: And then you have to have a bless. you have to have an old man bless, bless some demons out. flesh them out You need a spiritual douching. ah He's like, look, I know this might sound weird, but you're familiar with the concept of fishing and the lure goes in and it hooks the fish and it pulls it out of the water.
Speaker: And my penis is the hook and the demon is the fish.
Speaker: Do you get it now? Yeah. You got to lure him out like a tapeworm. Right. Does that mean he puts tape at the end of their vaginas and turns off the lights? Yeah. You got to squat over a bowl um of warm milk. yeah I never heard that one. That's a good one. I always heard.
Speaker: I always heard if you, ah like people would say it seriously and I don't know if it's an old thing where people thought it was true, but it was like, you have to put tape over your butthole so the tapeworms get stuck to it and then you... they Like they get their forehead stuck to it? so Yeah.
Speaker: So you basically, it's like one of those Biore pore strips. Yeah. It's like pulling out a blackhead, right. God, look how long this one is.
Speaker: I don't know what I would do if I if I like pooped like a ah four foot spindly worm. They don't come out like that, though. Just a little bit comes out and you have to like pull them out like a fucking magician pulling a string out of his mouth. That's actually real. It's crazy. Lay on the floor with my feet in the air and have April like start the lawnmower.
Speaker: You have to get in the change my diaper position. Yeah. I, that's crazy because as a kid, I remember like, look, I don't, um I don't, I know it's a worm, but I still don't subscribe to torturing, torturing creatures. But as a kid, you know, you're curious and you're playing around with animal like bugs in the dirt and shit.
Speaker: And you would grab a worm from both ends and pull it until it snapped. Did you guys do that? I'm sure I did. It's like, feels like like I would do it on accident while i was trying to hook put it on a hook or something. Yeah. Yeah. as a kid Put them up. Like it doesn't take a lot. So I feel like a tapeworm is much thinner than like an earthworm. Maybe it's stretchier though.
Speaker: Yeah. Like Gumby. Like you got to really careful pulling it. Like you're trying to get like a crappy sticker off of something. It's just really slow. It's made out of stretch Armstrong material.
Speaker: Oh God. Tapeworm. But I feel like if you tried to pull it out, it would just snap in half and then it would like regrow a head inside your butt. yeah Haven't you ever seen like videos of bears in the woods walking around? They have like 40 of them just hanging out, just dragging like 20 feet behind them. It's so gross. I have not. I had buried that in the recesses of my brain and you just brought it to the front. Oh, gross. They come up with some fresh air.
Speaker: yeah it's like a whale. like It's like a whale that has to come up from the ocean to breathe. yeah They just poke their heads out of a bear's ass. Catch their breath and dive back in for the next four hours.
Speaker: That's why bear meat is ah it carries a like a parasite that causes like trichinosis or maybe the trichinosis is the name of the parasite or whatever.
Speaker: So it's the same thing that you can get from pork if you eat undercooked pork. OK, it's like worms. Yeah, it's like extremely so prevalent in bear meat. So like you have to cook it very like specifically to a certain temperature to make sure that there's nothing living in there.
Speaker: And it's so prevalent that like most of the cases of trigonosis in the United States are from bear meat, not pork. And like how many people eat bear meat as opposed to pork? Yeah, not a lot. I would be concerned.
Speaker: But like, you know how like, like if you get sushi, any like you can't eat fresh fish raw because of the the parasites and shit. You have to like, if you want to have like a rare tuna steak, you have to make sure that it was like deep frozen for a while.
Speaker: I think it was at at like seven degrees, like negative seven degrees, I mean, or whatever like the average freezer temperature is. You have to, it has to be frozen for a week, but you can also like flash freeze it. So a lot of like sushi is flash frozen and then...
Speaker: thawed so you can't like fresh fish is super dangerous to eat raw so if you you know you get used to the idea of like sushi me and shit like that but if you catch like a a tuna and you want to like fillet it on the spot and cook ah a tuna steak if you ate that rare you would have a really high chance of getting parasites i do that all the time no you're doing all right you're fine doing with catfish so you catch in the creek it's a shimi great perch Parasites are different than worms, though. Parasites just give you like diarrhea, but you always have diarrhea, so i't you you know you wouldn't even know.
Speaker: Well, okay, touche. Taco Bell cooks their stuff ah you know in a nuclear oven, and you still get diarrhea from that.
Speaker: Their microwaves hit 210 degrees Fahrenheit. That's how they cook all their beef. if It's like that gray D monkey that they threw into a blender.
Speaker: It's like sixty forty ground beef. Yeah. That could grapebe that gray meat.
Speaker: So, yeah, that's what's going on with your Davey. Not really that surprising considering how weird the whole situation with him and Catherine and the other women is. But yeah, there's proof out there. Turns out Catherine knew about this for some time.
Speaker: And I don't know what it's in relation to because du they have a very curated like social media exposure. And that's one of the weird things about the church that immediately strikes you when you start looking at stuff about them is like they have mobilized like their concert, their congregation to like just be on top of social media stuff. And they go up fast because we talked about them like four years ago and that's when they were still meeting outside in L.A.
Speaker: Yeah. It's, it's very recent. Like it's in the past three, four years that they've really like expanded. And I think yeah they like a massive building. Yeah. I mean, if you, if you go on the website, this place is huge.
Speaker: Yeah. They're renting a massive building. It might as well be like a professional sports stadium. Yeah. Well, so Catherine's under a little bit of fire because of that.
Speaker: Um, She's getting hit from all directions by like people reacting to her videos and saying that it's heresy and stuff. One of the frustrating things about trying to look into stuff around 5F, though, is like I really wanted like I really wanted to find some videos that were just like.
Speaker: news newsworthy, like, here's what he's accused of doing. Here's how the church has responded. This is what victims are saying. There's allegations about this and that and the other. But, like, almost every bit of content criticizing 5F Church is by another, like, pick-me lunatic that is, like, she says she's a prophet, but how can she be the prophet if I'm...
Speaker: Jesus. She's not Jesus because I'm Jesus and I see demons overhead and I can tell that this is not real. It's so annoying, dude. I have been tricked into watching moron videos so many times around this one particular subject. How is that different than every other day your life? You just sit and watch more on videos. I bet your weekly update on your phone is like, you watched 18 hours of lunatic videos this week. Oh, you know, it's way more than 18. It's high. My screen time report is pretty bad, but it's because I'm like always like listening to something on YouTube or something like that. But,
Speaker: I know mine is It's perfectly normal. we but My wife and I were talking about it and it was like but we were talking about the screen time reports and I'm like I look at mine and I'm like that's nuts. But then I realized every time I get in the car I put on a YouTube video and set my phone down. Like i don't I don't listen to podcasts like I used to and that probably counts too. i'm not I don't know if they count the same but YouTube where your screen never turns off definitely does and my weekly report looks rough.
Speaker: Mine too. It's like five hours a day. I'll throw on like a a YouTube podcast while i'm playing video games at night. So I'm like, you know, you do it during the day, you do it on your drives and then and then you're sitting down playing video games for two hours at night after your family goes to bed. And it's like my screen time is looks ridiculous, but I don't feel like I'm on my phone that much.
Speaker: I remember what my, I haven't gotten a report in a while. I used to get them all the time on one of my phones, but it's gotta be 30 hours. You turned the notification off because you were too embarrassed. I probably did. I don't want to know.
Speaker: I'll show you ah one of the one of the people that I found today like in looking for this stuff. This guy, ah his his name is Phoenix. Nice. He and his buddy. It's just a single name like Cher. Yeah, exactly. Beyonce. I think he's originally from Scottsdale too on top that. Oh, He's winner. I'm sure he named himself Phoenix, but...
Speaker: He and his buddy are like broccoli cut white boys that are traveling around prophesying because they can see the spirit. Does one of them have a dangly earring, a dangly cross earring?
Speaker: Oh, oh, do they? I'm sure they do. that a year i forget exactly where where everything is in this video, so I may jump around a little bit, but.
Speaker: Crazy, insane stories and confirmations and encounters spiritually and physically. God had made it very abundantly clear that he was calling me into deliverance and also into like Christian life coaching. He made it very clear he wanted me to do that.
Speaker: Also told me like... in may He wants me to do it full time. He told me in May or June of 2024, I want you to go to Indonesia. When he told me that, it was like at a time when I was like really praying asking for direction. And he was like, I want you to go to Indonesia. And i was like, what? I was like, that must, i was like, God, did you really say that? Nothing again. Didn't reiterate that or say anything else. It was just that one time. started getting all these like things pop up on my like social media feeds and like starting hearing people randomly, like at coffee shops or like at the store stuff talking about Indonesia. Just like, okay. It's like when you get a Corolla.
Speaker: crazy carol is everywhere on the highway don't know anything about indonesia i was like i don't and i was looking up like flights there and stuff and i was like that's like insane like don't have much personal train i was like barely making enough money to just pay my bills and that was pretty much it i didn't have like any extra certainly not for a trip to indonesia and at this time too god kept telling me and telling me this that i need to do like the christian life coaching and deliverance like full-time but I was still fighting him on this. So in my head, I remember praying. was like, okay, God, well, you have to take away all my personal training clients because I'm not going to just like quit on them. I kid you not, literally like a week after that, like all of them quit on and gave me like a month. You're going to suck at your job, you dumb bitch. I was thinking like, because they probably all realized you were having a schizophrenic break because you were talking about being able to see the spirit realm. Right. Or like...
Speaker: if he's personal training these people and he just won't shut up about how he wants to be their Christian life coach. And they're like, we're done with you, bro. Yeah. yeah I got Andy Elliott for that.
Speaker: Nobody wants to listen to someone talk about being their Christian life coach when their balls are in their face while they're benching 150 pounds. Yeah. The Arabian goggles, like listening to this guy talk about how he wants to go to Bali.
Speaker: yeah He's ah this guy is so dumb, though. Like he the reason I found him is because he posted a video about he's like watching a Catherine Crick like deliverance video.
Speaker: And it's the one with the girl. She's in a white shirt and she's got her hair pulled back and she's she's like sneering at the camera and she's like hunching and waving back and Cause she's just so demon possessed. That shit makes me so, because like you never encounter that in real life. Never.
Speaker: You never see anyone do. I mean, maybe heroin addicts in this. I've seen a lot of people doing that, but they're high as a kite. I've seen the Fent lean. They just need universal healthcare. care They just need rehab. That's different. like But these people just walk into a church and then they start acting like jesus like they start speaking in the name of Christ and all of a sudden people are like...
Speaker: it Dude, it it just has such B-film horror movie motion. It's all informed by movies. Yeah, it's all... her And they're like snarling and drooling. and it's like This is such bullshit. how How does anyone there not realize that these people are like they're paid? like Dude, I guess what's blowing my mind about this whole thing is...
Speaker: you would think the like You would think that somebody would have come forward already to be like, yeah, I pretended to have a demon exorcised from me. Because it's it's fake. And it's obviously fake. but like all it first i But I can't tell if it's fake to the point where like...
Speaker: they're hiring people or they've created that this there's just a collective effervescence that makes people like start considering their own sins and then believing that if they attribute those sins to a demon that they're ashamed of, then they'll be exercised from it and will be free.
Speaker: You know, it's probably a little of both. I think they definitely have hired actors that they bring in for for these things, especially when they're filming social media content. They sign and NDAs. They must sign NDAs.
Speaker: Probably. Filling out your resume and you're like, well, if you go to this Instagram page and you down to the fourth video, I'm the one that's getting slain by a demon.
Speaker: Yeah, but it is also like there's a part of it that's like, oh, this is just like a weird subculture within the church. It's it's basically like the extreme version of like holding your hands up while singing. yeah You know, it's like eventually just everybody did that all the time or they did that to demonstrate like their spiritual ah awareness or something as opposed to everybody else.
Speaker: I look back at my own life and think about the embarrassing nature of like what I did during church, which is like, cause all of it is, is trying to confirm for other people that you're the most spiritual person in the room.
Speaker: Dude, I got into it. There was videos of that. i I'd love to watch it. Like hands up jumping around. dude I got into, I, like I told you, I got involved with that like charismatic movement at Liberty.
Speaker: that met in their like prayer chapel. And I carried that into my like Sunday morning and people would, people would, and this is what killed me, dude. Like when I look back on, cause look, ah one of the things I've noticed about my life and that I have to grapple with regularly because it's just a part of who I am and I have to push back against it. And I, I think I might've talked about it a little bit before, but same sex attraction. Yeah.
Speaker: Yeah, i um i've always I've always cared about what my quote unquote spiritual authorities thought. like and that That carries over outside of being in like a religious fear where I'm like, oh, I want my boss to like. I want people who I perceive as authority to like me and respect me.
Speaker: And so when I was growing up in the church, like I went to Liberty because my youth pastor went to Liberty. ah So much of what i I, I was, I spent a lot of time really upset that ah my youth pastor spent all this time with the kids who were,
Speaker: clearly not going to carry the torch. Right. And so I was the one who would, and I'm like, you're investing all these time, all this time in these people. And I get it because he's a youth pastor and he's trying to like reach the quote unquote lost.
Speaker: And I'm over here doing all the things. And I'm like, why am I not getting the attention? I feel like I deserve. And so I go to Liberty. And then when I can't like fast forward to the charismatic movement, you get into that people like, I could really see the spirit moving in you, man. And you're like, I love that. Now I feel now I'm validated. Now I'm valid. And it's embarrassing. I'm embarrassed to say this. Like, but it's I want that validation from people that I think are an elite in a thing. So like at that time in my life, it was like I perceive these people who are leading this thing as spiritual authorities and people I was impressed by. So all I needed was for them to like me and validate me within that that like type of group think.
Speaker: So then I carry that to my like my Baptist church and I would have people be like, say similar things like that. They they they noticed the spirit moving in me and how much I worship God and shit like that. And it like I look back and I cringe and I'm embarrassed by my behavior. But it is like so like I was trying I was connecting this back to a previous thought. And of course, I get too tangential. But like I just I I i understand why that can happen to people.
Speaker: I really do. And because it happened to me. And so like I try to like approach this with a sense of like generosity and understanding because I was there at a point in my life and I don't want to be that guy that's like, oh, I'm past that. So now I'm better than you and I've evolved because that weakness in me that needed that still creeps up sometimes.
Speaker: And I have to try to remind myself to be a fucking grown ass man and stand my own ground and stand for what I believe in and not just simp to the people that I think like I need to respect me or like me, whether it's just because they could fire me or because they could. Like, whatever it is, like outside of a church, you don't have those opportunities as much anymore. But it's still part of who I am and part of like those like innate desires that I have. And I i i fight against it, like in the workspace, but like going so. But I can't understand why someone.
Speaker: could like if I, cause that's just a, there's just like another degree further from where I was. Right. And I saw people in my charismatic movement that I was in, like go up for prayer and deliverance. And i once saw someone speak in tongues during the thing. And like at that point that threw me and I was like, I don't think I'm, i don't think I believe this. Right.
Speaker: um And that was just with the tongues thing. Everything else, i you know, it took a while to shed some of that. But i I try to I do try to be gracious because I I know that like under maybe under different circumstances, someone like me could have fallen into something like that.
Speaker: And but still, like at some point, someone has to come forward and be like, yeah, I was doing it because it felt because like, yeah, collective effervescence. Right. I was doing it because of that.
Speaker: And now, like, stepping away from it, I realize that this is all horseshit. And it hasn't happened yet. And that's that's what's surprising to me. But I guess they're only, like, five years into this ministry. so I mean, all that boils down to, like, a little bit of a dopamine hit for you, too, where you're like, oh, yeah, I'm you' doing the right thing. This is right. yeah Even though I feel like ah ah you like I look like a dumbass, everybody else thinks I look cool. but No, you're you're totally right about that.
Speaker: Get a gold star on your goal chart. Yeah, I i remember ah probably the only time I really remember hearing or seeing anybody speak in tongues. And it was at a church of of this these two brothers that we went to school with.
Speaker: and Brothers in Christ? Well, they they were their own brothers, but they were our brothers in Christ. um And I remember hearing somebody, I'm like, what is that sound? And it's like their youth pastor is like behind us or something. And you know we're standing in pews whatever during worship. Someone was blowing a shofar. Dude.
Speaker: And I'm standing next to one of the brothers and he looks back to see who it is. And then he starts speaking in tongues. and I'm like, this is a crock of shit. Like this whole, like, you don't, it's, I've always been told like, you don't do it on purpose. It's just like a thing that you don't like, but you clearly like, what are you guys doing? Is that Tim and Kurt's church? Yeah.
Speaker: I never actually went to that one. think a fun church, but it was Pentecostal, so it was pretty... Yeah, they're fun. They're fun, guys. I did go... They used to do this like... It was like over a weekend, they would do kind of like a lock-in kind of thing or whatever. And...
Speaker: i remember what i locked the doors and molest you and out I remember at one point being in the auditorium and everyone is like wailing and convulsing. And i was like, I'm just gonna go out into the lobby and stay up there for a little while. Cause like, this is whatever this is it's not it. Oh, man.
Speaker: I don't know what i would have done in that situation. i That would have made me so uncomfortable. yeah It's weird, because i got when I got into that charismatic shit, like conceptually, i i consigned to the belief that it was true because it's in the Bible, right? People will speak in tongues and this and that. Like, so I was like, I think this has to be true because it's in the Bible, but I was always skeptical of it. But I, there was a part of me for that moment of my life that always kind of hoped that it would hit me one day and that it would just happen.
Speaker: And
Speaker: there there's a guilt along with it. That's like, Oh, I'm not doing it yet. So I guess I'm just, I haven't like reached that level. And that, that was annoying too. Like that kind of sucks to, because that's the only way, because the way, the only way any Pentecostal movement will talk about tongues is like, it's a movement of the Holy spirit and it will happen. So when it doesn't, you just have this constant like inferiority complex. Yeah.
Speaker: It's like waiting for your first chub when you're like 11, you know? baby, was getting them way before 11. I just didn't know what it was. Yeah. Too much ice and chicken. This thing won't go away!
Speaker: what ah Do you remember any of your... ah like Do you remember any of the physical movements that you did when you were like slain in the spirit? Yeah. Oh, i oh i was fa I was like, I was never a slain in the spirit.
Speaker: No. Okay. Casey, do you remember this, that kid at Convo who would always be down at the front dancing and waving around? Yes. That think about that that. was the extent to which I got into it. Where is he now?
Speaker: I actually am still friends with him on Facebook. Is he like a Republican whip or something like that now? i i that That's a good question. He's probably still, and i think he's still probably involved in like that whole existential Christian movement bullshit.
Speaker: Huh. He still sucks. Yeah. It's crazy to me that like more people like when, when I move on from it, like it's crazy to look but because two of the people that I went to that charismatic movement with two of them work now at Steven Furtick's church.
Speaker: They're nice elevation. Two of them are elevation. One of them's a worship pastor at elevation and one of them's a campus pastor at elevation. And the one who went campus pastor, he, I always liked him. He's like he's a nice dude. Like I, I wouldn't have had a bad thing to say about him. Now I do. Cause you can't be at elevation. Have me think highly of you, but like he dude, he it's a cult man. He, he went into it.
Speaker: And I, I, I, because I'm friends with him on social media, I would see videos of him preaching at times. And this guy, once he was there immediately, like he got his haircut, just like Steven Furtick. He started wearing the same kind of clothes as Steven Furtick. Like, dude, he went full cult. He felt like he was on cocaine, even though he never did that. Yeah. Cause that's what the Holy spirit does to you, man. Yeah.
Speaker: Those would be interesting people to get. I don't think one of them I actually like enough and respect enough where I wouldn't have them on the podcast. But the other one, the one who's the the worship pastor, i I there's something about him that I just still I still like, I don't I don't know why. i don't know what it is. i don't know him anymore, but he was such a genuine, authentic and help and influential person in my life.
Speaker: And he was such a regular dude. Like when we would just go out and have dinner or whatever, or hang out. Like I really liked him. He was fun, funny. Like we had a great time every time we were together. and But the other guy, that's someone... like i don't know it would be entertaining. That's like one of the reasons you just... like There's certain things now that aren't entertaining to have conversations about.
Speaker: and I don't know if it would... I don't know if could get... I don't know if I, you, you would have to like roll with it. Cause I don't know if I could get past not wanting to be a dick because, because I knew him before and just feeling like an asshole. Like it's hard for me to feel like that much of an asshole with people.
Speaker: I, at least at one point knew it's hard enough for people. I don't know. Like we talk about getting different people on and like getting into those fun conversations. And it's, it's hard for me to just push back and be an asshole. Yeah.
Speaker: Yeah, let's have him on. You might find common ground when I tell him about my healed hepatitis. i I can reach out to him. We'll see if I hear back.
Speaker: It was funny. ah So the guy, ah the guy that I was just playing you, the Phoenix guy. So he did this video about Catherine Crick watching her deliverance session. It's like this girl writhing around and smiling and doing the evil laugh and then all of a sudden being like, and like the demon comes out or whatever. And he's like,
Speaker: You know, i'm as someone who can see the spirit realm, like it's it's very interesting what I'm seeing here. I've seen this scenario before. I've been to these types of churches, and what I see is that, like yes, there are demons present in these people. Yes, during this service, they are having a type of deliverance, but it's like it's like there are um it's like they're spiritually tickling the demons out of the person. Oh, my God. But then... They go back to their seat. The worship service continues. And a lot of times what I see is that the demon will reenter these people, ah you know, without them even knowing it. So there's not really deliverance happening.
Speaker: Yeah, they don't get the whole tapeworm out is what he's saying. Exactly. You go back to your seat and tuck it back in, I guess. yeah You pop off the head, but it crawls back in it grows a new one. it's like a fucking Hydra.
Speaker: So what I'm shocked by, too with all of these types of people, and there's so many of them, dude, there's so many of these like deliverance people and stuff now. I'm i'm just dumbfounded by the comment section on these posts because it is tons of people being like, me too, bro.
Speaker: Um, ah under this video about Catherine Crick, this, this, uh, lady says happening to me now, God told me to leave the relationship I was in, but stay living with the person did that for a year while God fought my ex in evicting me. I eventually had to leave after seven months of court, but God prevented him from actually putting the eviction on my record. Now God has me living in a hotel with my 12-year-old son. I worked from home doing lashes, so now I have no job. I had to leave everything I owned.
Speaker: Only took a couple of suitcases that all I could carry. Now God is being silent, and I have been looking for apartments with nothing happening. I'm terrified and feel like I'm being tortured. Only thing he instructed me was to enroll my son in online school, and he told me that this suffering was necessary to prepare prepare me for my calling.
Speaker: But I'm just scared my suffering includes us being on the streets next. And he gave me tons of miraculous signs and wonders to get to this point, and even some sweet loving things for us when we arrived. But for the most part, he's been silent since arriving at the hotel. Just reminders that I'm in the fire. Please pray for me and my son." Oh my God.
Speaker: This is terrible. awful And it's just sad that she wraps all of it up in what God's telling her. Like, look, I don't want to be that much of an asshole. I feel like there's a, there's a, there's a healthy amount of believing that your hardships can make you stronger type, like pop music shit. You know what I mean? Like, and that that's fine. Like, I don't, what I don't care. Makes you stronger.
Speaker: Yeah. But like what happens with these people is that it often prevents them from making practical and good choices, especially when you have a kid, right? You have a kid in your life, but you're like...
Speaker: it it hobbles you from making, making a move and trying to do something for yourself. Like, so like for her and it's like, Oh, God told me to stay with my ex, even though we weren't together anymore. It's like, no, you didn't know what else to do.
Speaker: And you attributed your lack of like, your lack of knowing what to do next with the Holy Spirit telling you that this is what you need to do because you didn't see another option. You just attribute it to God and then it doesn't work out. and it's like, well, God only wanted me to do that for seven months. Now God wants me to do this.
Speaker: And it's like, you could just, you just do that for every moment of your life. And I've done that too. I've attributed so much of my life to like what I thought God wanted or what God was telling me. And when things worked out for me and they, they have often in a lot of ways, it's like, Oh, that was all God. And then, and then the hard parts are like, well, you know, I'm just in a, I'm just in that season of waiting. I'm just in that season of patience. And it's just, God, it can just prevent you from making a fucking move and making the right choice for your life. Because all you do is just resign to what happens to you and attributed to God. And it's fucking sad.
Speaker: Anyway, made that too serious. Sorry, guys. What's the next comment? Most of them aren't that heavy. Most of them are just people like bunch of people while they're down. You know, it's like it's like these people who are like profiting off of other people's suffering. Yeah, fuck them. hack it How do you vote that message out there and see comments like that? where you're like, oh this is a person probably with addiction problems. They're dragging a kid around the city and not taking them to school anymore. And I am adding to their delusions.
Speaker: like that Because they're delusional. they're the They're the same level of delusion. Catherine's out there being like, I mean, when when you go from casting out demons in a park in LA to having a fucking mega facility, you think she's not over there truly convincing yourself that God's blessing her ministry? Of course she is.
Speaker: yeah you you do You derange yourself. You turn into an absolute psychopath. This was on Phoenix video though. So, and I guess he did lose all of his clients in one week. Thanks to God.
Speaker: So I, if if I'm going to attribute anything on this podcast to God, I'm going to thank him for taking away all of this kid's clients. And, you know, I said, God, I'm not going to leave my ah personal training customers. I just can't abandon them. But then, you know, the funniest thing happened.
Speaker: All of them got a staph infection at once. Some might say it's because I'm not cleaning the equipment properly. But you know what? Me, I just look at it and I go, that's a God thing.
Speaker: Yeah, if God didn't want them to get it, they wouldn't. God thing. See, I attributed, so for the for the last couple of weeks, I've been praying fervently that God would remove all the followers of a huckster.
Speaker: and And when I hear this, I go, wow, God really answered my prayers. yeah Dear Lord, sovereign name of Jesus, we call upon you to to clear the name of an honorable man, Christelia.
Speaker: Christelia.
Speaker: So, yeah, Catherine Crick is insane. it's ah She's clearly very successful, and she's, like, touring around the world now doing these deliverance sessions and stuff. Greg Locke claims that she tried to charge him $10,000 to come to his church, like, three years ago. believe that's the one thing from he's he's ever said that I believe. I know.
Speaker: He obviously, like because he's not totally honest, he exaggerated how much. It was probably like $4,000, but i believe him. Yeah. Now she probably doesn't even get on a Zoom call for less than $10,000. When she was early on, I reached out to 5F Ministry and got an automated response that I knew was just going to lead to absolutely nothing. It was just like...
Speaker: God, I could probably find it. I don't know. But the automated response was just like, oh, how can we pray for you? Come see 5F Church. ah it was It was basically saying that you can pay to have Catherine come speak or whatever. but And I knew we weren't going to be able to afford that. Yeah.
Speaker: Yeah, she, uh, it is crazy though. Like I was saying, like the, uh, the level of, of control that they have over there, like social media following is really nuts. So like that video from, uh, Phoenix, dude, it is just loaded with comments of people being like, you know, I was there, i was at five after it. I'll, let me see. I will, uh, I'll actually find it.
Speaker: Okay, so first one. Hello, the clip of the deliverance you posted is actually one of my deliverance sessions at 5F Church. So this is the lady that was delivered. I'm not sure what church you talked about here, but I invite you to come and see for yourself what Jesus is doing at 5F Church.
Speaker: um The only reason I want to win the lottery is so you and I can travel the country and visit these places. I know. I would love it. I don't even care about giving my kids a better life at this point. The only thing that's important to me is just buying an RV and just hitting up all these fucking places. Yeah, do like an all-gas, no-brakes, like a...
Speaker: Their revival tour. Yeah. Hey, I appreciate how you shared this without malicious or putting people on blast. I encourage you to look deeper into the church. Your first video is from 5F Church with Apostle Catherine Crick. Maybe you already have. I don't know. Not all churches are the same. Apostle Catherine recently taught a message about letting Holy Spirit lead, and it dives deep into the type of charismatic abuse we have seen in the church, like you are talking about. She also talks about the other side of the ditch where there is no room for the Holy Spirit.
Speaker: Things are genuinely different at 5F Church. It's not chaos show or demons being tickled. It's been a funny sentence. I think... Demons being so the tickled thing has come up a second time tonight, which makes me wonder if this is just like that. I guess that's vern that's just like vernacular now. It probably is part of their like little codex of terms.
Speaker: So but when I read when you read these comments, the grammar causes pause and makes me go, are these like are these bots? Are these like are these like AI? It is very like AI coded.
Speaker: but the spell But if there's a lack, what I would say is if there are no spelling errors, it's probably not AI. And ah usually you see spelling errors with people who write this grammatically more.
Speaker: it's And so I'm curious about that. It's interesting that she keeps getting referred to as a prophet. Or no, sorry, as an apostle. Oh, yeah. she That's how she refers to herself. That's like that one, that cult ah from Mexico called like La Luz del Mundo or something like that.
Speaker: La Luz del Mundo. There it is. Ooh, I don't know about that one. Yeah, I'm not familiar. So a guy worked with was actually in the cult. Oh, he doesn't work there anymore. He works at a different market center.
Speaker: But there's like, I think it's... ah What did we watch? They did, I think, two different documentaries on it. One of them is HBO, I think, the other one might be on Netflix or Hulu.
Speaker: Okay. Interesting. And it's like the the whole crux of it is like the guy who's in charge is saying that like he's the next apostle. Interesting.
Speaker: Yeah, that's a common thread with these people. yeah the The apostle thing is is more prevalent in charismatic circles. Outside of charismatic Christianity, usually they're like... No, the only apostles were those who saw and walked with Jesus. And Paul, there's always, I love how willing they are to make exceptions for everything but gay people. But, you know, it is what it is. yeah Greg Locke appointed himself an apostle. I watched the video of that.
Speaker: But yeah, apostle is one of those things that like some Christians will be like, it's heresy. You're a prophet, maybe. And then the the the hilarious part is when you look at like the differences between what people will be like, I'm a prophet versus apostle. They're doing the same thing. They're saying the same thing. It's like you're you're you're getting caught up on this title when the problem is everything you're doing. Maybe just walk that back a bit. yeah Well, they have...
Speaker: a really ah reactive social media team that is just like all over these posts. Anything that talks negative about 5F, they're just like on top of it but to the point where you do wonder if it's bots.
Speaker: I was just going to say, do you think they have like AI bots trained to just counter whatever is if it's negative it is possible i mean i think there's got to be some level of legitimacy to it but it is so like overwhelming on these videos that like it's i don't know it's just it's creepy like how much there is anyone who talks bad about them just gets a wave of this and it's not like abrasive or aggressive but But it is such a tidal wave of response that it's like, ah what is happening here? yeah That's why ah every we need to like set alerts for new posts and immediately comment. Captain Kirk sucked the demon right out of my pee pee. You know, like.
Speaker: Just every time. Same comment, copy and paste it. Just every time, same thing, and see like how quickly it gets like shut down. I think at one point i i so I said that she healed my razor burn. now like There's like a whole bunch of people like, no, Jesus healed your razor burn. You guys are honest.
Speaker: Oh, man. Yeah, so it's going to be interesting to see what happens, but she certainly is ruffling a lot of Christian feathers by a really equating her, her and her followers really equating her with God, and she is standing by Jor Davy to the end, so it's going to be fascinating to how that shakes out. Yeah.
Speaker: So, um... I love it. Do you want to do a little bit of Reddit before we close out? Yeah, let's do a... We'll do a Reddit. Let's do one. Okay, so Let's see. This one I just saw at a glance.
Speaker: This is in r slash Christian... Oh, wait. Wait a second. There was one that I saw that I wanted to bring quickly. You forgot about the
Speaker: power just flicked down twice off and on twice i was like what's going on we're losing power there's no storm or anything so those roving blackouts were starting to get dude it's those data centers powered up dude do your duty you're actually you paid extra money for that blackout but like ah we still have a little bit of water left can you please put a data center here please we're begging you we have just enough left of our drinking water do you have any data centers near you uh i think there's supposed to be one fairly close but it's i'm not sure exactly where it is i don't know if they've actually built it or if they're in the process of building it but i don't think we have any of the giant ones i mean this is the dumbest fucking place to put one
Speaker: like Is it? In the middle of the desert. I mean, they don't care. they Nobody cares. No. they're they're They have a way to extract all the resources necessary to keep those things functioning. like i You know Andrew Callahan, Channel 5 News?
Speaker: I don't, but I don't watch the news. No, it's not it's not it's like news news. It's a YouTube channel. Oh, okay. He does a lot of like, he's got the he's kind of a a dorky looking guy with the curly hair and wears gaudy suits and shit.
Speaker: okay um He's phenomenal at what he does. um And I listened to an interview with an interview he was doing with a journalist recently And he doesn't usually give a lot of his own perspectives. A lot of his interviews are very much like just trying to solicit from other people how they really feel and creating a comfortable environment to allow them to engage authentically. And he's phenomenal at that. He did a Shia LaBeouf interview. He facilitated an interview between Hunter Biden and Nick Fuentes. That was really interesting. wild Nick Shirley.
Speaker: Yeah, Nick Shirley interview. What is benevolent?
Speaker: What was the benevolent? he No, so Andrew Callahan is a fascinating guy, and he was doing this interview with this woman who was a journalist um that broke some story about something. I forget what was, but ah usually he doesn't give a lot of his own perspectives or opinions, but they started talking about some theories around how things are going to play out or work, and he talked about he was talking about data centers and how – He thinks that, I mean, it really has to do with like the oligarchic takeover and big. Oh, for sure.
Speaker: His theory is that like, ah like maybe a year before Trump's out of office that they, um, that like the powers that be kind of like, uh, soft launched what it might look like,
Speaker: but like how the public perception would be after an assassination tested on Charlie Kirk. And so they're going to, now that they like were able to see the way that, because Charlie Kirk was a divisive figure and there were people on the left, I mean, and on the right who felt different ways about him.
Speaker: um But, Once he was killed, all sudden people who had criticized him were like, this is really sad. This is a big thing. like And they all kind of changed their tune. So he was like, I feel like they were kind of like testing the public reception in response to something like Charlie Kirk's murder. And that like a year before Trump's all done, they'll assassinate him on purpose to try to like...
Speaker: force this like oligarchic reign and build up these data centers across i part of it was a little facetious like where i i don't feel like he's like standing like firmly on like this conspiracy theory but it was just like kind of a thought experiment on how how badly things could play out for us based on how much control the current powers like if there's pros and cons yeah I mean, I did hear that all the data centers have been classified as military facilities.
Speaker: That's what they can just steamroll them wherever they want to and be like, well, this is military. Sorry. Love that. Yeah, we're cooked. mean, we're cooked either They're trying to build one like in my town. Really? i found out that a person I know is doing all the legal workarounds for them, which makes me angry.
Speaker: them? Yeah. Yeah, he's a lawyer. They hired him to do it. You should stop being friends with this person. My dad told me that somebody in the town that I grew up in sold a bunch of farmland to someone that's going to build a data center there.
Speaker: oh Yeah, it's weird out there, man. hey ah I've been doing some research on farms and ranches and things like that here for work.
Speaker: And it is crazy how many of these like really big ranches and farms have traded hands in the last three years. Like generational properties. You know, tens of thousands of acres. And it's like sold three years ago to Somebody.
Speaker: We don't know who. It's not really listed. It's kind of hard to figure out. It's BlackRock. It's always a Shell Corp. and then Right now, not to get too off topic before we jump into Reddit, but like right now, like the the Trump administration, Donald Trump,
Speaker: I don't know, on his own executive order, whatever it was. I don't know. I saw this. Yeah. Yeah. They're, they're, they're deleting the database on who owns shell corporations and no longer tracking that going forward. Yeah.
Speaker: Like what do we, what the fuck? All right. Let's start a shell corporation. We just got to figure out a way to funnel money into it. I know. We have to crowdfund the money to just do LegalZoom regular corporation.
Speaker: ah I have about $400 I can throw towards it. What do you guys have? I can sell some of my electronics that'll go a lot worse. And that was the birth of Pudco LLC.
Speaker: God, if only i invested in that Celsius stock when everyone said it was a good idea. Okay, so this is in the Christian Marriage subreddit. It says, Is my husband too spiritual?
Speaker: guys wanna Is there such a thing? want to make a wager before we get into it? want to say yes I'm going to say yes as well. All right. If you have to ask the question, you're way past it.
Speaker: It's true. I would like to suggest that maybe the proper word would be dogmatic. that I would like to suggest that. Do I have too much Lyme disease?
Speaker: My husband and I have been married for a little over two years. We met at a Christian college and began dating early in his freshman year when I watched him fall in love with the Bible and deepen his relationship with Christ.
Speaker: During the early stages of his growing faith, I also felt he sometimes struggled with legalism. ah Drinking was a huge no, birth control was a sin, etc. Exactly.
Speaker: He has since changed his mind on those topics, but I see some hyper spirituality and legalism. When it was convenient for him. of course Of course. once we take abstinence off the table and I want to come inside of you, all a sudden, birth control not the same issue.
Speaker: I'm getting a word from the Lord. he says birth control is cool.
Speaker: I'm getting a word of this from the spirit. It's pill. i mean like He says double up. He says do the Nuvo ring and take the pill.
Speaker: I'm glad. Look, I am glad he changed his mind on birth control instead of going with the true original birth control, which was making her do anal all the time. um The Lord came from to me in a dream, and in the dream, you were not pregnant, and I was serving you a sandwich made of IEDs.
Speaker: Is it IEDs or it IUDs? IUD. IED. Explosive devices. That's very good. You're a tray of explosive devices.
Speaker: But then he goes full like he goes full. We heard he goes full like Joseph in the coat of many colors or whatever it was. it Joseph is Joseph the one with coat of many colors. Yes. um He's like, I had this one dream where I served you this place and then I had this other dream where you were pregnant and I served you a bunch of cold cuts.
Speaker: For those of you who don't know, you can't eat cold cuts when you're pregnant. Served you a bunch of cold cuts and sushi and yeah and booze. You got trigonosis. A bunch of deli meals. There's a bunch of cigarettes on the tray, too. Kaiser roll full of worm ridden bear meat. um My husband takes his responsibility as the spiritual head of our family very seriously, which love. sure he does. love
Speaker: fire With an asterisk. well i'm waiting for That's the asterisk. It's all caps. Carry see You know, used to see all caps and you're like, this can this conveys like emphasis. Now you see all caps and you're like, this is how an authority figure conveys hatred of someone.
Speaker: Passive-aggressively. Yeah. ah When we first got married, we would pray together every night. Then, about a year in, he listened to a sermon about family worship and decided we would do that together every night, with exceptions usually on vacation.
Speaker: At exactly 9 p.m., which would include That's the problem. That's where it started. They let the demons in during vacation, dude. Yeah, dude. Branson, Missouri is where it all fell apart. Yeah. At exactly 9 p.m., which would include reading a chapter of the Bible together, reciting and memorizing a catechism, singing a hymn, and ending in prayer using the axe method. Dude, that's legalistic. At at exactly 9 p.m., you're a psycho.
Speaker: You're a serial killer. That's what serial killers do. I can't imagine how miserable that would be. do you to You have to do that every night. You have to sit in a circle and sing a psalm.
Speaker: Hey, babe, I'm going to hang out with my friends tonight. he's like, all right, just make sure you're on by 9 p.m. so we can pray and read our Bibles and sing together. And Gregorian chant. This was a big jump, and I was hesitant to make that commitment every night, but we've done it for over a year now, and it's just what we do. I love how they do this thing. He's like, this will be good for us. It's like, no bitch, that's deteriorating your marriage. Like no one's, no one wants that. Every that's crazy, it dude. It could be something you could pick something that didn't suck. Like reading the Bible together. And like, like you can say every single night at 9 PM, we're going to watch a TV show together at that. That's oppressive. And I like watching TV, but you know,
Speaker: ah I've at times asked to do it at a different time to free, free up my nights a bit more, which was only recently listened to and done.
Speaker: was first crack. Uh, before work soon after we began family worship, he started making sure we pray together every day before we leave for work. I enjoyed doing this as it was good to start our day praying for one another. Notice. He thinks she's going to cheat on him.
Speaker: That's what this is. We have to pray before you go to work because you're going to fuck someone at work. But last week he started insisting that we read 1 Corinthians 13 every morning on the car ride to work. Mind you. what thing It's the loved one. That's um every wedding. yeah I don't even, what's it?
Speaker: Oh, love is station i love is kind. It does not envy. It does not boast. It does not impose a rigorous schedule on me every day.
Speaker: It does, however, come on your tits every night when I want to.
Speaker: Or inside, now that birth control is cool. Mind you, we both read our Bibles and pray separately every morning. And this was the needle that broke the camel's back for me.
Speaker: Liturgy is like a gateway drug for him, and he consistently wants more and more. And I honestly it's OCD, I think. I think he's like undiagnosed OCD needs like psychiatric help. Liturgy. What is what is I'm blanking liturgy. What does that mean?
Speaker: That's like the like in like a high church tradition where you would like recite the Apostles' Creed or something like that. I see.
Speaker: So just like, it's communal prayer. It's like a written down liturgical, like the Lord's prayer, right? Like everybody is like, it's like our father who aren't having that whole thing. It's like, yeah. similar where It's something going on in the background. Yeah. It's like, uh, Steph just got home and the dogs are going crazy. My buddy butter is doing a tap dance. Yeah, and he is.
Speaker: um Liturgy is like a gateway drug for him, and he constantly wants more and more. And I honestly feel like what we have is more than enough. Is there such a thing as too much Bible reading and prayer?
Speaker: Am I in the wrong or is it really over the top? And how do I talk to my husband about this without undermining his God-given spiritual authority to lead our family well and communicate to him that he's doing just fine and we don't need to keep adding daily habits to literally everything we do?
Speaker: Sounds like youth group, am I right? I don't, look, I don't, I'm not going to justify the way this guy's treating his wife, but I genuinely feel bad for him that he's clearly this mentally unwell. Yeah. This is the equivalent of like, ah you know, having to flip the e light switch three times when you enter the room or else Charlie will die. Yeah. And what's what's awful about what's awful about Christianity is like, it it is hard. Like she, she's coming to Reddit with like a really reasonable, not, it's not the concept around it isn't reasonable, but like when you're in Christianity, it's like to be the one to say, we need to walk, how walk back how much we do this is like everyone. The other person always has a spiritual high ground of like,
Speaker: Oh, how can you say you can read your Bible too much? The Bible says pray without ceasing and do all these things under God. And like you can just you can spiritually abuse people very easily in that way.
Speaker: So the comments, let's see what they say. cause this could go two directions. He's not too spiritual, reading the Bible too much or praying too much. He's just doing it in a way that's too legalistic.
Speaker: He's just doing it in a way that's too much. I feel nervous saying that reading the Bible too much is a thing. So instead I'm like, you're just insisting on everyone doing it too much. But this is like growing up in Christianity. I feel like we probably all heard sermons about how you can make good things in idle.
Speaker: And this falls into that category, even within the realm of Christianity. It's like you you're not. You're not really connecting with the thing you believe you are. You're idolizing the act regiment yeah and is idolizing the act of doing. Yeah.
Speaker: I wonder what he wants out of it, because this to me reads like somebody who is like doubling, tripling, quadrupling down on something for a reason like. It's fear. And i don't mean just like, this is what I'm supposed to, I want to be close to God. I think it it's more like, I'm doing all of the steps extra correctly, and therefore I should get blessings and everything that comes along with it. I'm hitting i'm going everything on the checklist. Yeah.
Speaker: I actually, I think that it's probably less about getting or desiring blessings. That might be in the back of his mind because that kind of coincides with that type of belief within Christianity. But I do think it's, I think it's some sort of OCD. I think it, and I think it's like based out of like a fear that things will deteriorate and fall apart if they don't commit to doing it. Is it sexual in nature?
Speaker: I actually don't think it, 95% of Reddit posts, I think are. He just, he just gets off on like, spirit it's like wasting his wife's time.
Speaker: He's, he's a, he's a spiritual vampire. Yeah.
Speaker: I think it's just mental illness. Jesse, do you remember? Okay. I'm trying to remember where I was when I heard this sermon.
Speaker: I want to say it was at our school. It was during like one of the Wednesday chapel services and we had some sort of a guest speaker there. May have been John Lowry. I don't remember. Okay. He gave this like talk about,
Speaker: um he was telling a story about some guy i don't even know who it was like some guy who wrote a book or something who like he had this thought like i should be able to completely focus on god without you know like my attention waning for like 10 seconds for 10 seconds i should be able to focus on god completely without being distracted or looking away right And then as he he found that it was hard to do. And so like he trained for it, you know, and he kept repeating the process until he could do it for 10 seconds. And then he said, I wonder if I can do it for 30 seconds and then a minute and then a blah blah, blah, blah, blah. And this guy is like supposedly documenting this in his book, you know, he's like, you know, at at sooner or later, he's at a point where like, he's spending hours a day in, in like consecutive prayer where he's just communing with spirit and stuff. And then at some point the person in the book starts writing in like King James English sort of thing. and he's like, I just remember the person talking and being like, we know he's getting spiritual now. Cause he's talking to King James.
Speaker: He just, all he did was describe the process of meditation. Yeah. I don't remember. it definitely wasn't, A local person because none of our local people wrote a book. no I can't remember who it was, but I just remember him making that comment. And I remember like the whole thing.
Speaker: ah it filled me with like a sense of dread. Yeah, I mean, it would. Yeah, that makes sense. have to waste an hour of my day in emptiness. was it I mean, that kind of sounds like that. What was this? Pastor Pratt or whatever his name was. that old thing pray like He would give us the same sermon like that we had already heard three times.
Speaker: Yeah, dude. And he would just be like rambling. It wouldn't even be a sermon. He'd just be like talking. i just distinctly remember him. ah One of his sermons being about how he fixed a screen door. Yeah, he was just a ramble. Like they let this guy in charge of a church. Like just, he's literally just talking. It's like I stripped a screw and I thought to myself, how am I going to get that screw out? you know I mean, it was literally like just and ah a step-by-step account of how he fixed a door. Yeah, it was nuts. And he gave us, no he did that at our church. And then on Wednesday did the same exact thing, like word for word.
Speaker: It was Wednesdays were torture. Yeah. Yeah. All right. So let's see what somebody else says. um Traditional Manager 82 says, too far becomes controlling. If that's what's happening, we can't exactly say it isn't because that's not what you want to hear, you know.
Speaker: Quote, he decided, quote, I asked, but you only but only recently listened to and done. Quote, he started insisting. Just say no. It's lovely that he wants to be connected with you in this, but you are just as much a spiritual authority as he is. You can say it's too much.
Speaker: Well, this guy's a real egalitarian. yes um Let's see. ah Yes, he shouldn't be totally controlling and not receptive of her experience, but biblically, he is more of a spiritual authority in their household. of course. Complementarian! Here he goes. That is one interpretation of what's there, held by some denominations. It is not the only one.
Speaker: Oh, so that means nothing matters. Nice. Thank you for clarifying that. um Genesis 3.16, 1 Corinthians 11.3. Genesis 3.16? What is he doing? Why? He said his name.
Speaker: Oh, don't act like people haven't read the Bible. They have. Different conclusions can be drawn. Furthermore, a redeemed persone a redeemed people had no business trying to double down on the curse. Live into redemption instead.
Speaker: Regarding what you think about the curse in Genesis, quote, but there is one thing I want you to know. The head of every man is Christ. The head of woman is man. And the head of Christ is God.
Speaker: I don't know how much clearer 1 Corinthians could be. Is that still Genesis 3.16? think that's 1 Corinthians. Yeah. No, was that's from the guy, Genesis 3.16. Do you want to know what Genesis 3.16 is? Yes. yes It sums up what he said and why he's a terrible person.
Speaker: To the woman, he said, I will make your pains and childbearing very severe. With painful labor, you will give birth to children. Your desire will be for your husband and he will rule over you.
Speaker: This guy sucks. Yeah. Yeah. Well, you know what? worldly woman, she shouldn't have, like, sucked that snake's tail. yeah Whatever she did. They cleaned it up for the Bible version. They're like, oh, he gave her an apple or whatever. She sucked his tail.
Speaker: She should have done.
Speaker: Now, mind you, there are many interpretations. I prefer the one where she put tape on the end of her bottle and caught but
Speaker: the real snake. yeah I'm getting a prophetic word from from the Lord. It's patricide. okay ah no Well, it doesn't mean authority, so it could have been clearer, I guess, in English.
Speaker: Okay, then. Here's the easy version instead of NLT. Quote, there is something that I want you to know. Christ has authority over every man as his head. Also, the head of a woman is her husband, and the head of Christ is God. It says that being the head means having authority.
Speaker: Cool. That guy sucks. That clears things up. No, that clears things up. His name is Medical Asparagus.
Speaker: Dude, it it is amazing like how much the people who comment on these forums suck. And I'm still banned from Christian dating, which makes me angry. I don't think you get unbanned. I think that's just how it goes. Can I get probation before you send it to me to life? You're going to have to start a new account. i I'll be on the registry if I have to.
Speaker: there an appeal process? Yeah. It's actually, they did me a favor because now I don't even feel the impulse to comment on it when I see something dumb.
Speaker: But you can still read it. So you're, that's, that's, you can just be a lurker. Yeah, that's what I do. Yeah. I just see what, uh, what the user, a Berean Christian is saying. And I, I go, what an idiot.
Speaker: Is that the one that you always see in all the comments? Yeah. I hate his guts. Yeah. He's so annoying. ah He always has some smug thing to say.
Speaker: Well, that that kind of sums up Christian Reddit is just a bunch of smug assholes. Yes. And therefore, according to a thing I watched today, um all AI models.
Speaker: Mm-hmm. They're all like derived in large part from Reddit. That's where they're doing all of that. That makes sense. Categorizing and, and surmising and whatnot.
Speaker: That's why they use terrible syntax. I was going say that also means they have like all the best information. It's all correct. Yeah. Well, dude, every time I Google something, like I was just finishing up a cyberpunk for my fifth playthrough. so Oh my God, dude. It's top notch. Anyway, I was finishing it, but like I played it a bunch. So now I'm at the point where like I, I wanted to just Google answers on dialogue options to produce a different outcome than I had had in the past. Um,
Speaker: And i so I was basing a lot of my decisions on like how I want the game to end instead of just, you know, the first few times I just played it and saw what happened. um But whenever it's you can't Google now, every Google search gives you an AI response, which, you know, sorry.
Speaker: i don't some family went without water i don't know what to tell you i don't use it anymore just for that alone it's terrible but every when you do search most of the answers that i would get all would like link to reddit afterwards like it would give this like yeah i feel like i saw that a lot too when i used to use it yep steven paddock acted alone
Speaker: Suck it, AI. you You digital neckbeard in the sky. We hate you. I'd like to drown you in Eldorado Lake.
Speaker: If you were a person, I would hold your face in the in the filthy Kansas mud until the bubbles stopped.
Speaker: yeah Oh man, that's brutal. know Casey's dark side. I'm dangerous man. Is that because April won't read the Bible with you every night at 9 p.m.? Yes. you know Jordan Peterson says that a good man is is not a nice man. A good man is a man who forces his wife to read the Bible.
Speaker: A good man starts every day by making his wife make his bed. yeah Even when he's still in it. Even when he wants to sleep in and she gets up with the children. ah and Then he said, where's my daughter? She's holding my barbiturates.
Speaker: yes
Speaker: Is he dead? Did he die? Physically or spiritually? Yeah, and he's just severely mentally incapacitated, I think. Yeah, i think I think so. I think i think Ben Shapiro had to scrap him for parts to keep the Daily Wire payroll running. He's a real Larry of the Cucumber now.
Speaker: You know what? That's so funny. You don't have a cucumber, but it's biggest. Where is my hair? What?
Speaker: here's my hair
Speaker: bob Bob can be ah Ben Shapiro. ah and it so I want to, I need to, we are. Well, if there was ever a time to use AI.
Speaker: i know. think But even to like super edit, it like a scene of Larry, the cucumber and Bob, the tomato and just put Jordan Peterson and Ben Shapiro having a conversation over it would be too fucking funny.
Speaker: You know, everybody has a water buffalo. can Well, actually, a water buffalo isn't actually a water buffalo. water buffalo doesn't actually spend a lot of its time in the water. A water buffalo.
Speaker: a
Speaker: If you like to talk to tomatoes. If a squash can make you smile, pull yourself up by your bootstraps. um That's enough. ah All right, everybody. well ah Dude, Jesse, thanks for coming.
Speaker: Hey, thanks for having me. It's always a blast. Two of my favorite people in the world. I love you guys. Oh, I love you too, man. Love you guys. I love you, Sam. Love you, man.
Speaker: And I like a lot of you listening. And things could progress. We'll see. we We can begin our courtship here.
Speaker: but as long as you read the Bible every night at 9 p.m. You have to freestyle sing a psalm. And don't just go looking for the shortest one. Liturgical style. Yeah.
Speaker: A little bit turd, Jakul. All right, everybody. Thanks for listening. And we will see you next time. See ya.
