Speaker: Ladies and gentlemen, season two drawing to a close, but the Triple F is closing in on the finish line.

Speaker: Triple F boys coming in hot, baby.

Speaker: Well, ladies and gentlemen, you may not see or hear a difference, but my drink looks a bit different tonight to these boys on the other side of my screen.

Speaker: Tonight, I am drinking those pre-canned Jack and Cokes, so it might get a little dicey here on my end of the microphone, but the reason I'm doing so is because I am following in my big brother's footsteps.

Speaker: I am going to give up beer tonight.

Speaker: this lint before my wedding and i know what some of you are thinking you're thinking you know that's not as big of a challenge dane is much more of an alcoholic he has impulse control i mean he always just has to be the life of the party and just very addicted to beer and you know what i would say to that is hey that's my brother stop that anyways um

Speaker: But, you know, I just want to be like my big brother, Dane.

Speaker: But anyways, I don't know if y'all want to do a bet to see, you know, if we're going to do the mile bet and whatnot.

Speaker: But, Dane, I just want to be like you, brother.

Speaker: Well, I appreciate it.

Speaker: You have big goals, so I'm proud of you for that, to try and be like me.

Speaker: I don't think you have – what did I lose last year when I did?

Speaker: Did I lose – I was a little shy of 20 pounds, right?

Speaker: I think I was right at about 18 or something like that.

Speaker: I don't think you have that to lose, Slade.

Speaker: I did not give up beer for Lent this year, for one, because I didn't want to.

Speaker: Two, I don't know if I could do it.

Speaker: But I did give up something that is equally as hard in my opinion.

Speaker: I am not going to drink during the week during Lent.

Speaker: That's a big one for me.

Speaker: I'm not an alcoholic.

Speaker: But anyways, I am not going to drink during the week.

Speaker: So no drinks for me tonight, boys.

Speaker: Eric, what did you give up for Lent?

Speaker: I did not give up beer and I'm going to drink during the week.

Speaker: Not those.

Speaker: I'm struggling.

Speaker: This is the first year in a long time that I have not like gone into it with like something like totally nailed down.

Speaker: So, uh, let Brent answer and then come back to me.

Speaker: Well, Dane, it's not the week anymore.

Speaker: It's the weekend.

Speaker: It's Friday night.

Speaker: You can have a cold one.

Speaker: I have a rule.

Speaker: Yes, this was 100% my idea.

Speaker: Okay, so if I drink Friday, then I can't drink Sunday.

Speaker: So I kind of got to pick and choose.

Speaker: I was a little sick this week, so I'm going to save one of my days for Sunday.

Speaker: So if you boys aren't doing anything Sunday, let's tear it down.

Speaker: So what I'm hearing is Dana's gonna take those beers and those drinks that he would have during the week and throw them all on two days.

Speaker: So these two days are gonna be freaking wild throughout all of Lent.

Speaker: Dana's just gonna be getting shit can and eating tons of fish on Fridays.

Speaker: Yeah, I know that this is definitely Grace trying to push this on him and this is going to backfire big time.

Speaker: You want to know why it's going to backfire, Eric?

Speaker: Because she told me I couldn't save up days.

Speaker: Like, if I went a full week without drinking, I can't have four days the next day.

Speaker: So they're just going to pile on.

Speaker: Like, she does not know what kind of demon she woke up in me.

Speaker: Nothing like a weekend before.

Speaker: Vorman Easter is about to be an absolute shit show at our house.

Speaker: It's about to be nuts.

Speaker: Oh, my gosh.

Speaker: That's so funny.

Speaker: What do you want?

Speaker: I was asking Brent what he gave up.

Speaker: Yeah, so we did two things.

Speaker: No sweets, no dessert, candy, anything like that.

Speaker: And then we have decided no TV while we're eating in this household for Lent.

Speaker: We've gotten in a bad habit of turning on golf or a football game or something while we eat.

Speaker: And so we've decided no TV while we're eating.

Speaker: So that's what we're doing in here.

Speaker: Okay, this just came to me and I think I just made up my mind.

Speaker: But I'm going to do all sweets, no desserts, no sweets, no candies, no cookies, nothing.

Speaker: And then I'm also going to give up not watching TV while we eat.

Speaker: So I think I'm going to go with those two.

Speaker: I think I just made up my mind.

Speaker: It's first Friday in Lent.

Speaker: I have 38 days, but those are what I'm going to go with.

Speaker: There's no sweets and no watching TV during Lent.

Speaker: That sounds like a good plan.

Speaker: I think since Eric did not give up anything before this podcast, he now has to give up all of ours.

Speaker: No beer, no drinking during the week, no sweets, and no watching TV while he eats.

Speaker: I'm going to skip the two beer ones, but I like where Brent's at.

Speaker: I think I can do that.

Speaker: We don't really get to watch TV much anyways, so that one's going to be easy, and then the sweets is something I could use.

Speaker: I got a sweet tooth every now and then, so –

Speaker: Yeah, Eric, you're probably stuck with most of the kids show.

Speaker: I hate to put you on the spot, but what's, what's your go-to favorite kids show that your, your kids watch nonstop?

Speaker: Man, they, they do a good job of not nailing down like one thing.

Speaker: Like right now, cat in the hat is on and that's the first time that that's been on on our TV.

Speaker: Like it's all the Disney movies that they've ran through, like Lion King, Cars, uh, Little Mermaid had its course.

Speaker: Um,

Speaker: Aladdin.

Speaker: We just got through with some Aladdin.

Speaker: So Weston has done a good job of keeping it moving where we haven't just totally just drilled down on something.

Speaker: So that's been nice.

Speaker: I will say probably overall favorite of Weston's has been Cars.

Speaker: And honestly, mine is Lion King, but Cars is right there.

Speaker: Cars is great.

Speaker: Even today.

Speaker: We should have done a little kid movie draft.

Speaker: There are so many good movies.

Speaker: You got Toy Story, Monsters, Inc., Cars.

Speaker: There are so many.

Speaker: We should have done one of those.

Speaker: I agree, Dane, but I will say the movies now are not good.

Speaker: The new one, the new Disney movies and these new kid movies, horrible.

Speaker: You got to go back to the OGs.

Speaker: I think that's why we have our screwed up sense of humor is because like our mom let us watch like SpongeBob and all that stuff.

Speaker: Like you don't think about like what that contributes to your personality.

Speaker: I don't think Dane would be very funny at all if he didn't watch SpongeBob growing up.

Speaker: You know, I think that's that's kind of what led us to where we are.

Speaker: It's funny because when we were growing up, Brent always told me he's like, yeah, my mom will not let us watch that.

Speaker: And I think Anna now uses that, like if Brent ever would to bring that up to Anna and be like, mom, why didn't you let me watch SpongeBob or any of those fun movies when I was growing up?

Speaker: She'd probably just say, look at how Dame turned out.

Speaker: I did the right thing.

Speaker: I'm not even sure if that's a true fact.

Speaker: I just think I hated it, and that was what I used as an excuse to not have to watch it when I was at Dane's house.

Speaker: I don't know.

Speaker: I don't remember.

Speaker: But I really don't think they liked us watching The Simpsons.

Speaker: All those stupid shows are terrible.

Speaker: I was going to say, I'll be honest, I've never seen a full episode of Spongebob or The Simpsons.

Speaker: Either one.

Speaker: I don't even know what it's about.

Speaker: I don't even get all the gifs and all the jokes.

Speaker: I don't even understand it.

Speaker: Well, screw me, I guess.

Speaker: Anyways, y'all want to talk about the Super Bowl?

Speaker: One thing we all watched was the Super Bowl.

Speaker: I mean, what?

Speaker: It was starting to feel like at the beginning of the game, to me, it felt like we were seeing either the Patriots and Rams Super Bowl that ended in 13-3.

Speaker: It had those vibes, and then it really had the Kansas City versus Tampa Bay when Tom Brady was still there.

Speaker: It had those vibes because Patrick Mahomes was running for his life, and it was a defense struggle for the most part, but the

Speaker: The 49ers were having some success.

Speaker: We've had a few days to process it, so we don't really need to dive into the whole game or anything like that.

Speaker: Brent, seeing as those NFL films are coming out, we sent that clip of

Speaker: George Kittle talking, just having a conversation with George Karloftis as he's recovering the fumble on that opening drive from Christian McCaffrey.

Speaker: When you see that type of stuff, does it change your opinion on the game or is it just funny context?

Speaker: No, that's just funny context.

Speaker: That's George Kittle being who he's been the whole time.

Speaker: Yeah, that was a bad look, but that's just who he is, and that's why everyone loves him.

Speaker: I don't know.

Speaker: Obviously, we'll start to dive into this whole overtime and the decision, and I do have opinions on that.

Speaker: I felt like the 49ers dominated the game.

Speaker: I felt like they dominated the whole game, but they had some tough –

Speaker: breaks, like just that punt that hit the guy's back of the guy's leg, that was a very, to me, that was the turning point of like, okay,

Speaker: Here it goes because the Chiefs scored the very next play.

Speaker: The field goal, the point, extra point, that was blocked.

Speaker: It was a horrible kick, which it was so funny.

Speaker: We sat there and bashed Jake Moody, the 49ers kicker, and he goes and kicks two 50-plus yarders.

Speaker: Awesome.

Speaker: But that kick was on him, I feel like.

Speaker: It was so low.

Speaker: And so, I don't know.

Speaker: So many things we're about to talk about, but I felt I hate my heart hurts for Christian McCaffrey and Brock Purdy and George Kittle.

Speaker: But it was a mixture of kind of, you know, a couple lucky breaks for the Chiefs.

Speaker: But then the Chiefs just hanging around long enough to where if they're still in the game at the end and you have –

Speaker: Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes, they're going to find a way to win.

Speaker: And they did.

Speaker: And it is so frustrating to me the way that the 49ers handled the end there because I feel like it's just like the Bills game where the Bills and Chiefs played in the playoffs where it's like, okay, guys, you should have known.

Speaker: If you're going to give Patrick Mahomes a chance to go win a football game at the end, he's going to go do it.

Speaker: So why would you give him that chance?

Speaker: So

Speaker: Give me all's takes, and then we'll kind of keep talking about it.

Speaker: I don't want to talk about it all yet, but go ahead, Slade.

Speaker: Brent, you said you felt bad for Christian McCaffrey, Brock Purdy, and George Kittle.

Speaker: Were you meaning to say that you only felt bad for the white guys?

Speaker: What is with you, Roarback Boys?

Speaker: Maybe y'all should have watched some of those shows when you were kids to learn more about the different race equality, this battle that we're going through in today's society.

Speaker: You know, I actually take that back.

Speaker: I feel the worst for Dre Greenlaw.

Speaker: The fact that he sat there, was on the sideline, and just started to run out on the field and tear your Achilles, that was horrible.

Speaker: That literally just made me want to cry for him.

Speaker: That was so sad.

Speaker: I hate that for him.

Speaker: It's crazy how you have a guy – we were talking about this the other day.

Speaker: You have a guy who –

Speaker: I mean, he's just in the greatest shape of his life and is in greater shape than 99.9% of human beings on this planet.

Speaker: And all he does is go start to run out on the field.

Speaker: And that happens.

Speaker: It is a freak deal.

Speaker: There is, it is so sad.

Speaker: I hate that.

Speaker: That was, that was bad stuff.

Speaker: Yeah, that one did sting.

Speaker: And then like, when you see the video after and you see Fred Warner, how about it messed him up to see his, like his partner in crime go down.

Speaker: That one kind of made you hurt a little bit too, because I mean, they play off of each other.

Speaker: They do so well.

Speaker: But this Superbowl, it sucked for the first three quarters.

Speaker: It was no, it was no fun to watch.

Speaker: It was, it was more fun to watch all the kids play around and dance around and stuff.

Speaker: But man, that fourth quarter in overtime, it was so great that that turned into one of my favorite Super Bowls ever to watch.

Speaker: Like it was so great.

Speaker: I had a great day gambling.

Speaker: I have never, ever, ever in my life been able to say that I left it all out there on the website.

Speaker: And I did, baby.

Speaker: It was so awesome.

Speaker: The only bet that I lost was that coin flip bet to Eric.

Speaker: And as much as it sucks to lose that,

Speaker: At least he won something, and I also won something.

Speaker: So it really – I don't regret taking that bet.

Speaker: I did try and get Eric to go double or nothing on the overtime flip, and he wouldn't do it, and he would have given that money right back to me.

Speaker: Yeah, that was such a fun way to start the Super Bowl.

Speaker: I wish you could do that for every game.

Speaker: I wish they filmed the coin toss for every single game.

Speaker: So every NFL game or college game you watch, you just start it off either up or down some money.

Speaker: So that was a great way to start.

Speaker: We're just sitting there watching the Super Bowl.

Speaker: Me and Dana are kind of throwing back our bets to each other.

Speaker: Both kind of like, that sounds like a pretty solid bet.

Speaker: Sounds like a pretty solid bet.

Speaker: And I'm not going to lie.

Speaker: I think between Dane and I, I think we went like 8-0 on our prop bets.

Speaker: And it's like Dane said, that never happens.

Speaker: Ever.

Speaker: And that was so much fun to do.

Speaker: And anyways, we ended the year strong.

Speaker: You were talking about Greenlaw getting hurt, Brent.

Speaker: And that's what I was going to say.

Speaker: He's probably in the top...

Speaker: 150 athletes in the world.

Speaker: He goes to run out there and he tears it.

Speaker: And then did y'all see, I saw this crazy stat the next day that I don't know the guy's name that came in and played for him.

Speaker: I don't remember, but whatever that linebacker was his backup when he came in, I don't, I'm, I don't know the exact numbers, but it was like Holmes was like eight of eight had like a perfect passer rating and a touchdown against when that guy was in coverage.

Speaker: And so that right there is just kind of like, like you said, Brent,

Speaker: When Tom Brady was winning all the Super Bowls and everybody that hated him just kept saying how lucky Tom Brady was.

Speaker: He just always got so lucky.

Speaker: All the breaks always went his way.

Speaker: Everything always worked out for him.

Speaker: And there was, you look back at some of those years and some of those Super Bowls and yeah, there were some breaks and you can just already see it.

Speaker: You're just like, oh my gosh, Mahomes is getting those breaks.

Speaker: Everything's just lining up for him just like it did for Tom.

Speaker: Like it's so crazy.

Speaker: It's, you know, is it?

Speaker: Is it ironic or is it just dumb luck or is it just pure just talent?

Speaker: Are they just better than everybody else?

Speaker: I think they are just better than everybody else.

Speaker: But sometimes just the little things that go one team's way or the other, it's just it's amazing what it can do for like the history of football.

Speaker: I think it was hilarious.

Speaker: Like parts of the NFL films coming out and like the mic'd up moments are obviously hilarious.

Speaker: Like the George Kittle one and whatnot.

Speaker: But the funniest one was when the refs after the overtime, whenever the 49ers took the ball,

Speaker: And it cut to the refs, and they were like, I can't give the ball back to Mahomes to win.

Speaker: They were shocked, too.

Speaker: They were like, what?

Speaker: It was that simple to them, too.

Speaker: I think, if anything, this game reflects on that everybody will look back and blame it on.

Speaker: Obviously, you have to have a bit of luck to be able to get to the point where Tom Brady is and where Patrick Mahomes is already at.

Speaker: Luck comes into play.

Speaker: Some people just have that luck factor, but you have to be in the position to get lucky.

Speaker: And I think that that's what those two have done so well.

Speaker: But the thing that people will look back on and always criticize is that choice, that choice to take the ball first.

Speaker: And more than anything, I think he should be blamed.

Speaker: Kyle Shanahan should be blamed for not having the team prepared.

Speaker: How funny would it have been if all of his team who thought when you score a touchdown, you're

Speaker: the game is over, they storm the crowd and get more personal foul penalties than you've ever seen in your entire life.

Speaker: Unsportsmanlike, unsportsmanlike, unsportsmanlike.

Speaker: Like how many of his team, how many players on his team would have sprinted out there and started throwing their helmets in the air and looking for the confetti?

Speaker: And it's not so much I get that you want your guys to just go play without thinking of the consequences.

Speaker: But the truth is, is you play different whenever you know what's on the line and what the stakes are.

Speaker: And you've got to have your guys prepared.

Speaker: And I get that.

Speaker: There's also an argument to be made that the players themselves should be aware of all the changes coming throughout the NFL.

Speaker: It is on them.

Speaker: They are professional athletes.

Speaker: They should pay attention to their profession.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: But as a head coach, you are in charge of having everybody talk to bottom organized.

Speaker: And it was just proof that the Chiefs have figured out what that championship mentality and championship preparation is over the 49ers.

Speaker: I agree, Slade.

Speaker: You got to have your players ready.

Speaker: Guys, I am not fully convinced that Shanahan didn't know the rules.

Speaker: I'm serious.

Speaker: What if he didn't know the rules and he's just trying to act like he knew?

Speaker: Because if he did know the rules, then how stupid are you to take the ball first?

Speaker: Because in my mind, you can have all these strategies.

Speaker: The defense was tired.

Speaker: They needed a break.

Speaker: No.

Speaker: You treat that like it's college football overtime rules.

Speaker: You want the ball second so that you know how many points you have to get or you have the fourth down to get it.

Speaker: It's like, no, don't say, you can't sit there and say, well, we want to have the ball third.

Speaker: Because if you're going to have that mindset, which I'm okay with, so here's my thing on that.

Speaker: I'm okay with them taking the ball first if they would have gone for it on every fourth down until they got a touchdown.

Speaker: Because then you're saying, okay, we're going to be the aggressor.

Speaker: We're going to go get a touchdown, and then we're going to stop them.

Speaker: But even if we don't stop them, then we're going to get the ball third.

Speaker: But when you don't go for it on that fourth and three or fourth and four, that's when I was just like – because when they took the ball, I was like, okay, then they're going to go and get a freaking touchdown or lose trying.

Speaker: Well, they didn't do that.

Speaker: They just kicked a field goal.

Speaker: And it's just like the Bills game where it's like –

Speaker: What do you think is going to happen here?

Speaker: Like, are you – like, it doesn't even make sense to me.

Speaker: You're going to give Patrick Mahomes a drive, and he has four downs every 10 yards to go get a touchdown.

Speaker: You think he's not going to do that.

Speaker: Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes.

Speaker: So that decision just baffled me.

Speaker: And the only reason I can maybe think is that, dude, what if he didn't know the rules either?

Speaker: And then midway through, he find out.

Speaker: And I swear, there's a chance that we later, 20 years from now, find out that he didn't even know the rules.

Speaker: Brent, I completely agree.

Speaker: I do not, I don't think he knew the rules either.

Speaker: And honestly, if you're Fred Warner and your head coach tells you on your way out, says, Hey, we want the ball.

Speaker: And you rehear that.

Speaker: I mean, you gotta be thinking like Fred Warner is probably like this puny little coach is not going to overstep me.

Speaker: Like I'm going to be fine.

Speaker: I, I still think he should have corrected it.

Speaker: Even though Shanahan's

Speaker: mess up at the beginning.

Speaker: But one thing that I thought was crazy is that after all this is done, you know, they're getting dragged through the water.

Speaker: Shanahan's getting dragged through the water.

Speaker: They go out and fire their defensive coordinator.

Speaker: Their defensive coordinator that held Patrick Mahomes to three first-half points.

Speaker: And the only reason he scored a touchdown in the third was because of a stupid punt that hit a guy on the leg.

Speaker: That was just a complete coincidence.

Speaker: He had nothing to do with it.

Speaker: It's like he's trying to make a scapegoat out of it.

Speaker: And he – I just feel like Shanahan, and maybe the GM goes with this too, they have just made so many dumb decisions in the past three years.

Speaker: The sellout for Trey Lance –

Speaker: And then trading him after he didn't even get a full year to try and start.

Speaker: But they're covering that up with getting the very last pick and Brock Purdy, Mr. Irrelevant and him taking you to the Super Bowl.

Speaker: OK, it seems like everybody forgot about the Trey Lance deal.

Speaker: And then he made the wrong call in the Super Bowl.

Speaker: That is a big 95 percent of the reason they lost, in my opinion.

Speaker: And then he goes and fires the defensive coordinator, who I think did a better job than the offensive play calling in the whole game.

Speaker: It just seems so weird to me the way everything unfolds.

Speaker: So we're talking about how the NFL films comes out and you start finding all the clips and starting hearing all the audio and stuff.

Speaker: Well, the one that was the most telling about the whole Super Bowl was the minute that they said, we want the ball for overtime.

Speaker: And did y'all have seen the one of Patrick Mahomes?

Speaker: He raises one eye like...

Speaker: These MFers are so dumb.

Speaker: Like he was just dumbfounded at the fact that they took the ball, but he was trying to hide it.

Speaker: It was, that was a great clip.

Speaker: And if you haven't seen it and you're listening to this right now, go, go look it up because his reaction was priceless of like, wow, that was a total dumb ass move, but I've got to try to act like it wasn't a dumb ass move.

Speaker: So they don't know.

Speaker: And then he's going to go get them.

Speaker: Dang.

Speaker: That was the face of a guy that just was like, oh my gosh, I just won my third Super Bowl ring.

Speaker: You can tell in that moment that he knew.

Speaker: And what's funny is like, even after that, they go to the sidelines and he's like, they want it, they can have it.

Speaker: They want it, they can have it.

Speaker: And then there's videos of whenever they're taking the field.

Speaker: And he tells all of his players, he's like,

Speaker: As long as we hang on to the ball, as long as we don't fumble it, we are going to win.

Speaker: That's how you know that.

Speaker: He just, he knew it.

Speaker: He knew they messed up and it makes it so awesome.

Speaker: And Slade, I know that you watch Colin Cowherd a lot, and I do too.

Speaker: And like this week, Colin was kind of defending Kyle Shanahan and was trying to defend his reasoning for taking the ball or whatever.

Speaker: Well, I loved it because he brought on Julian Edelman.

Speaker: And Julian Edelman has been a great guest on his show for basically this entire football season.

Speaker: But Julian Edelman starts talking about basically, you know –

Speaker: you know, Cal Herd presented his take on the deal.

Speaker: And Julian Edelman just goes, what are you talking about?

Speaker: Like, there's no excuses for that.

Speaker: When we were, they were at the peak at the Patriots.

Speaker: They practiced every situation.

Speaker: They would do stuff on rules that were in the back of the rule book that hadn't been used since the 60s.

Speaker: And they would practice them on Friday afternoons.

Speaker: Like, he was just like, there's no reason.

Speaker: That is not even a situation.

Speaker: somewhat even partially legit excuse.

Speaker: Like it's totally out of control that they, every player and every staff member didn't fully understand what they were going to do in that situation.

Speaker: How long should we let him go before we tell him?

Speaker: Let's see how long Brent can talk.

Speaker: We've been doing this for two years.

Speaker: You would think he would realize he's got to unmute himself.

Speaker: I love how we all collectively agreed to let him keep going.

Speaker: You're a real dick for that.

Speaker: Well, the other issue I have while Dane was speaking, I was kind of thinking about this is even if the 49ers would have scored a touchdown, I'm not convinced that the Chiefs wouldn't have gone for two after they would have scored just to go for the win.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: They would have.

Speaker: That would have been the smart move to do instead of giving the ball back to the 49ers where all they have to do is get a field goal.

Speaker: So in no way around that you think about it.

Speaker: Was that a smart move in my opinion?

Speaker: I don't know.

Speaker: It just drove me insane.

Speaker: I love the chess match that has happened afterwards.

Speaker: I loved how immediately afterwards, I'm sure the 49ers players were frustrated that they didn't know the rules.

Speaker: And you see guys like Kyle Juszczyk on the field having a reaction going, did you know that even if we score a touchdown, we don't win?

Speaker: I didn't know that.

Speaker: You don't want your players going in going, wait, why the F didn't I know that?

Speaker: And I think that's kind of why they were so pissed.

Speaker: And they threw Kyle Shanahan out to the freaking wolves immediately once they got up to the microphone in the postgame presser.

Speaker: And all the Chiefs players did the exact opposite and just immediately were like, we've known these rules since the beginning of the season.

Speaker: We've gone over them once a week, twice this week.

Speaker: And if we would have scored, we were going for two.

Speaker: And that's what Andy Reid came out and said.

Speaker: Yeah, we were going to win or lose on that play.

Speaker: You know, they came out and said we were going to go for two.

Speaker: So now every team that plays the Chiefs in the playoffs from here on out knows that if they have the ball first, even if they score a touchdown, they have to go for two because the Chiefs are going to go for two.

Speaker: And now that everybody's going to be thinking about that, they're going to be going back to these press conferences.

Speaker: I love it.

Speaker: One thing that needs to be studied,

Speaker: From this game and the last three Super Bowls that Kyle Shanahan has been in, what the hell happens to the run game in the second half?

Speaker: This is something that needs to be studied in, you know,

Speaker: universities throughout the, I mean, this should be somebody's, you know, dissertation on their doctorate or something.

Speaker: I mean, this is something that needs to be focused on because it is a chronic disease going through Kyle Shanahan.

Speaker: The run game was freaking lighting up the chiefs in the first half that first drive.

Speaker: I don't know.

Speaker: Brock Purdy threw it more than two or three times.

Speaker: Yes.

Speaker: Christian McCaffrey fumbled, but you still have the best running back in all of the NFL.

Speaker: One of the best run attacks in the NFL by far.

Speaker: Take control of the game.

Speaker: Make it easier on your second-year quarterback and take the ball out of Patrick Mahomes' hands for as long as you can.

Speaker: It doesn't make sense, and he keeps freaking doing it.

Speaker: Yeah, Slade, I'm with you.

Speaker: That was nuts.

Speaker: They go three and out the first two drives of the third quarter and didn't run the ball one time.

Speaker: And I don't listen to Dan Patrick very much.

Speaker: This week, I turned it on Dan Patrick for just like 30 minutes of the end of one of his episodes.

Speaker: I don't remember what day it was.

Speaker: And I thought that Dan Patrick brought up one of the best points.

Speaker: It felt like

Speaker: Kyle Shanahan was trying to win, but he had an agenda.

Speaker: Like his agenda was he wanted to prove to everybody that he could win with Brock Purdy or that Brock Purdy wasn't just a system quarterback, that Brock Purdy was the guy.

Speaker: And he was trying to prove that.

Speaker: And he was calling plays based on what he was trying to, how he was trying to manipulate the storyline.

Speaker: And when Dan Patrick said that, I was like, I just thought it was brilliant.

Speaker: And I completely 100% agreed with him.

Speaker: I've been telling you, you've been needing to listen to that, man.

Speaker: That's probably the first good point he's brought up in all of the playoffs, other than that he's kind of been talking out of his butt and not saying a whole lot.

Speaker: But I did like that.

Speaker: I thought the exact same thing whenever that came up.

Speaker: I don't know if y'all want to stay on the Super Bowl talk for a little bit longer, but –

Speaker: Like this is such – this is the worst time in the year when you don't have football and you've got to keep talking about the Super Bowl.

Speaker: And then now everybody's wanting to talk about the draft and the NBA, and it makes me sick.

Speaker: But what are – like if you had to rank your three things you look forward to sports-wise from here until the start of football season, what would you take in those three, Slade?

Speaker: I love that question.

Speaker: For me, it's pretty easy.

Speaker: The next thing up on my list is just March Madness.

Speaker: I love college basketball.

Speaker: I like watching the games now that we're in the conference season, but really...

Speaker: March Madness is the only thing that's getting me excited.

Speaker: Number two, I'm a big draft guy.

Speaker: I love draft season.

Speaker: I love, you know, the looking into scouting picks.

Speaker: That's really the only time I get excited as a Cardinals fan because it's all the hope and none of the disappointment, at least until the draft day.

Speaker: So I'm looking forward to the draft.

Speaker: Cardinals had a great draft last year.

Speaker: And then after that, it's a whole lot of nothing.

Speaker: I'm not a baseball guy.

Speaker: I'm really not that much of a golf guy.

Speaker: I can't even tell you what season all the majors are of golf, but I guess I don't really have a third one.

Speaker: I just wish for football after that.

Speaker: I just hope the XFL might find some interest in my heart or something.

Speaker: Yeah, I'll agree with you, Slade.

Speaker: I can't bring myself to watch the NBA right now.

Speaker: It makes me sick.

Speaker: Anytime anyone starts talking about it, Colin Cowhart or anyone, I literally mute it and turn it off.

Speaker: Dude, y'all are forgetting we got the Summer Olympics.

Speaker: That is what I'm looking forward to.

Speaker: Summer Olympics this year is going to be so fun.

Speaker: That is what I'm looking for.

Speaker: That's number one on my list.

Speaker: And then, like Slade said, March Madness is always going to be so fun.

Speaker: College basketball is finally getting closer to the conference tournaments.

Speaker: And then,

Speaker: I've been getting into the golf here lately.

Speaker: I've got the golf itch.

Speaker: So I've been following, you know, last week was the waste management this year, this week's the Genesis and Tiger Woods is back and he's got his new brand Sunday red and it's the logo is freaking awesome.

Speaker: Go look it up.

Speaker: Unfortunately, he had to withdraw today because he was kind of sick and his back is bothering him, but golf is back.

Speaker: Tiger Woods is back.

Speaker: Let's freaking go.

Speaker: Yeah, everything that y'all said, the NFL draft, March Madness, the Olympics, sneaky good because I did forget about it.

Speaker: But for me, the thing that I look forward to, like the very next thing, is give me the Masters.

Speaker: That is like four days.

Speaker: Really, it's like a week because I start getting excited on Monday.

Speaker: And then when it comes to like Thursday of them teeing off, I can't take my eyes off the screen.

Speaker: Like I'm constantly on my phone, on my iPad, or on the TV.

Speaker: Like no matter what it is, I got to watch every single hole that I can.

Speaker: I mean, it is just –

Speaker: It's an amazing event.

Speaker: Yeah, I'm right there.

Speaker: Y'all pretty much said everything.

Speaker: Mine goes March Madness, then the Masters.

Speaker: I totally forgot about the Summer Olympics, but in a normal year, the next thing I look forward to is fantasy football drafts.

Speaker: I know it takes a long time to get there, but when we all gather up at Eric and Catherine's house and

Speaker: and do the big draft in front of everybody.

Speaker: It is so much fun.

Speaker: But one thing that I'm sneaky looking forward to it, and this is crazy to say, I'm kind of looking forward to the women's college basketball, the March Madness.

Speaker: I watched it a lot last year, you know, when Caitlin Clark became a big thing, and then you had the girl from LSU.

Speaker: Like, it was just a lot of drama.

Speaker: And, I mean, now you've got Caitlin Clark breaking records.

Speaker: That is absolutely awesome that she just broke that record.

Speaker: You know, it kind of reminded me of one of my favorite jokes of all time.

Speaker: Brent, you know this one.

Speaker: But why do you call it history instead of her story?

Speaker: Because if it was her story, nobody would give a shit.

Speaker: Shout out to the legendary coach for that one.

Speaker: Well, it wouldn't be a triple F finale if we didn't have an out of pocket comment from Dane coming out, you know, just out of nowhere from left field.

Speaker: So thanks for that one, Dane.

Speaker: True triple F fashion right there.

Speaker: And in triple F fashion, let's close off this NFL season talk with a little bit of gambling stuff.

Speaker: I'm not a really good odds maker, but...

Speaker: The Chiefs came out and said, you know, they're going for the three-peat.

Speaker: And, you know, Chris Jones came out and said, I'm staying here.

Speaker: You know, I'm going for the three-peat.

Speaker: Travis Kelsey, I'm not going anywhere.

Speaker: Andy Reid, I'm not going anywhere.

Speaker: They're resigning coaches.

Speaker: Steve Spagnuolo's not going anywhere.

Speaker: He got extended the other day.

Speaker: Eric, I don't know if this is a good odd or not, but...

Speaker: Knowing the momentum and knowing just the motivation that goes into a team trying to make history, if I gave you Chiefs plus $2,000 for the Super Bowl versus the field, how much money are you putting down?

Speaker: Ooh, plus $2,000.

Speaker: I like that.

Speaker: Yeah, I'd take that.

Speaker: The minute that they won the Super Bowl and Patrick Mahomes is interviewing, the minute that that game is over,

Speaker: the first thing that came out of his mouth is, we want to win the next year.

Speaker: We want to win three.

Speaker: And the second he said that, I just looked at everybody else and I just shook my head and I said, crap.

Speaker: Like, who thinks like that?

Speaker: Like, who in their right mind just now wins the Super Bowl?

Speaker: He literally was just like, we're coming next year.

Speaker: We're going to be back.

Speaker: Next year, we're going to win three.

Speaker: We're going to do it.

Speaker: We're going to make history.

Speaker: That's mind-blowing to me that in that moment, he's already ready for next year.

Speaker: I'm scared to death as not the biggest Chiefs fan over here.

Speaker: I don't like it one bit.

Speaker: So, yeah, I hammered the Chiefs.

Speaker: He had that crazy look in his eye.

Speaker: I didn't like it.

Speaker: I don't think, like, it just seems so difficult to three-peat.

Speaker: No one's ever done it that I can think of off the top of my head.

Speaker: But I feel like that is just damn near impossible.

Speaker: But, shit, if there's ever going to be a team to do it, it feels like it's the Chiefs because this was supposed to be their down year.

Speaker: Last year was also supposed to be their down year.

Speaker: Then they won it.

Speaker: And I was like, oh, okay.

Speaker: And then this year, whenever they lost, you know, three in a row or whatever, I was like, oh, yeah, the Chiefs are falling apart.

Speaker: They need Tyreek.

Speaker: They need wide receiver help.

Speaker: And Patrick Mahomes took that dog shit roster and won the Super Bowl.

Speaker: I mean, it is just absolutely, absolutely bananas.

Speaker: Hell, go get you a three-peat.

Speaker: Why not?

Speaker: That would be absolutely awesome.

Speaker: Yeah, he does have that insane mentality.

Speaker: You see, like, immediately – I don't know if, like, y'all watch this throughout the season.

Speaker: I don't know how many games y'all watch of the Chiefs.

Speaker: But, like, anytime something happens, he is just wired, especially, like, on a bad play.

Speaker: He's doing that, like, freaking hand thing where, like, it looks horrible.

Speaker: And it's just, like – he's just spazzing out, like, come on, come on, come on, come on.

Speaker: He's just a freaking –

Speaker: He's a different breed.

Speaker: But I don't know.

Speaker: I think that the Chiefs going into a season this motivated is definitely not a good thing for everybody else.

Speaker: The Pardon My Take podcast has a hilarious bit where they talk about they were pleading Patrick Mahomes just to retire and talking about how he has kids and he needs to be there for them growing up and all this stuff.

Speaker: When Patrick Mahomes said he was trying to go for at least eight more years, they all said, well, fuck.

Speaker: And that's all they just said.

Speaker: They were so pissed.

Speaker: It does feel like this is just Patrick Mahomes' world and we're all living in it.

Speaker: Like, it does feel like there's just so – you're so helpless as a fan of a different team.

Speaker: But can I just throw something random out there just like kind of changing the subject?

Speaker: Can we stop the Tony Romo slander?

Speaker: Okay.

Speaker: Okay.

Speaker: Why does everybody dog on him so much, particularly all these broormans, Vicky and Slade and Dane, and I'm sure David hates them too.

Speaker: But anyways, Tony is awesome.

Speaker: Okay.

Speaker: Just cause he's not a robot up there.

Speaker: I think he's so fun.

Speaker: I think he's hilarious.

Speaker: I think him and Jim Nance are a great duo.

Speaker: I enjoy listening to him.

Speaker: Ooh, we, I don't know, Jim, what would you do?

Speaker: Okay, Eric, I will say, like, I thought that he had a good Super Bowl.

Speaker: I really thought he did good.

Speaker: But that very last play call, whenever Jim Nance is announcing, like whenever they won the Super Bowl, and he's kind of letting the moment speak for itself, and then he chimes in, he's like,

Speaker: And the Kansas City Chiefs are whatever.

Speaker: And then Tony Romo comes in and breaks the play down.

Speaker: You're like, just shut up.

Speaker: Let it have the moment.

Speaker: Shut up, Tony.

Speaker: No one cares.

Speaker: I was waiting for Jim to say, and Tony, that is your cue to shut up.

Speaker: First of all, Eric, that impression right there was incredible.

Speaker: I didn't know that you had that in you.

Speaker: That was awesome.

Speaker: I agree with you, Eric.

Speaker: Everyone's shitting on Tony Romo and even the group text.

Speaker: Y'all were doing it.

Speaker: And I was like, dude, this is my favorite couple right here.

Speaker: This duo right here is my favorite ever.

Speaker: They're the best.

Speaker: But, oh, man, that is too funny.

Speaker: I think that the media, they find people that they want to pick at.

Speaker: And it doesn't matter what they do.

Speaker: They're going to pick at them.

Speaker: And Tony Romo just happens to be one of them.

Speaker: And I don't know why I agree.

Speaker: I don't know why people pick him out, but I love him.

Speaker: I think he's phenomenal.

Speaker: My problem is what Tony Romo started out being so great at was like he would do his, and I don't know, and maybe this was like a note from an executive producer that they said, hey, we don't want y'all doing this anymore.

Speaker: It's taken away from the game.

Speaker: But when Tony Romo, his fastball starting out was always his ability to see the play before the play and break it down and tell people, hey, watch this right here.

Speaker: And it would always happen.

Speaker: And I don't feel like he's had that fastball anymore.

Speaker: Like that fastball has been completely gone to where now he's just a goofball.

Speaker: That's the only ball he is, just a goofball the whole time up there.

Speaker: He was singing Adele going into a break.

Speaker: Like I'm all for making jokes, but like we're going into the final drive.

Speaker: Everybody's on the edge of their seats.

Speaker: And at one point, Jim Nance is talking about –

Speaker: you know, a generation is 20 years in the last 20 years.

Speaker: We have not seen a re or a back-to-back champion.

Speaker: This is the first generator, first team in a gym that can do it in a generation.

Speaker: And,

Speaker: Tony Romo chimes in, he goes, 20 years, is it generation?

Speaker: How did they come up with that, Jim?

Speaker: It's just like, shut the F up, Tony.

Speaker: This is the Super Bowl game winning drive.

Speaker: Get out of the way.

Speaker: And that was my problem.

Speaker: He can be really funny and he's very different and difference not always bad.

Speaker: But it's those moments at the end, like Dane said.

Speaker: I loved that he was saying, hey, everybody, for context, the reason they're not calling a timeout.

Speaker: It was a great call by Tony.

Speaker: Great, great call.

Speaker: Because I was sitting there going, what the hell are the Chiefs doing the same way?

Speaker: And so that was a great call by Tony.

Speaker: But he did his great call.

Speaker: Now get out of the way and let Jim Nance do what Jim Nance does.

Speaker: And there's just moments like that where Tony Romo is also brand new to it.

Speaker: And I think he's just going to get a lot of hate the more goofball he does and the more he gets in the way of stuff.

Speaker: And he has flashes of amazing, but he has to let the amazing speak for itself and shut the F up when the amazing is not speaking.

Speaker: I completely agree with you, Slade.

Speaker: I will always, I will die on this hill.

Speaker: I think the greatest thing that Tony Romo has ever done was date Jessica Simpson right after the Dukes of Hazzard came out.

Speaker: That's the greatest thing he has done and ever will do.

Speaker: What a legend.

Speaker: I think that, you know, love him or hate him, I cannot wait for Tom Brady to be calling games next year.

Speaker: I think he's going to be phenomenal at it.

Speaker: He's going to be so fun to watch and listen to.

Speaker: That's what I'm looking forward to during next year's football season.

Speaker: I think that Fox is going to have a tough spot because I think Kevin Burkhart and Greg Olson have been so much better than they ever expected.

Speaker: And so now you've got who they are saying Tom Brady is going to come in and be a color analyst.

Speaker: But I don't know.

Speaker: I'm almost kind of wondering if Tom Brady is going to end up actually doing that.

Speaker: Well, so, and this was a long time ago, and so there's probably been news and there's actually been things figured out and I need to go research it.

Speaker: But there was a point where when Tom Brady signed that huge contract, Greg Olson was just kind of like,

Speaker: no, this is bullshit.

Speaker: This is my job.

Speaker: He's not going to come in here and just take it from me.

Speaker: I am doing this, and I am doing well.

Speaker: Why does he get to just come in and take my place?

Speaker: So there was some friction there, and I don't know what's become of it.

Speaker: But as far as I know, he's still set to call games next year, so I have no idea.

Speaker: But that will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Speaker: I've loved listening to Greg Olson.

Speaker: I think he does a phenomenal job.

Speaker: Greg Olson is one of my favorite young broadcasters by far.

Speaker: He's amazing.

Speaker: But tell you what, none of those guys have shit on Roger Brorman and Dave Drennan after listening to tonight's play calls to end the playoff basketball for the Vega Lady Longhorns, I should say.

Speaker: The girls won another gold ball tonight, and Roger and them took over the reins, and they did a phenomenal job broadcasting.

Speaker: But with that being said,

Speaker: Dane, final episode of this Triple F season.

Speaker: Take us away with your draft segment, baby.

Speaker: All right.

Speaker: Thank you, Slade.

Speaker: It's kind of a sad day over here on the Triple F. It says the last episode of the season.

Speaker: Well, it's looking like this could be the last episode of us consistently doing an every week podcast.

Speaker: I think everybody's just getting a little too busy in our lives to be able to make this work and have, have everybody around to make it work.

Speaker: And we just for one, want to thank you all for sticking with us through this.

Speaker: This podcast is terrible.

Speaker: I can't believe any of y'all listen, but we really appreciate everything that y'all have done for us.

Speaker: And we'll go around towards the end and talk about that.

Speaker: But in honor of this being our last episode, I'm

Speaker: We are going to do a draft where we've recapped all of our great memories on this Triple F podcast.

Speaker: So the first round is going to be just our favorite moment from the podcast.

Speaker: Could be this year or last year for all of these.

Speaker: And the second round is going to be a listener that any of us are surprised that listens religiously.

Speaker: Third round is going to be our favorite draft that we've ever done.

Speaker: And the fourth is going to be the funniest thing that has happened ever.

Speaker: on the podcast or anything to do with the podcast.

Speaker: So with that being said, Oh, I guess I got the number one overall pick for my favorite moment.

Speaker: And with my favorite moment, I'm going to take, I got to say, Eric losing the bet, the farm and having to eat the blazing wings, baby.

Speaker: Classic.

Speaker: You know, that's a good moment, Dane.

Speaker: I think my favorite moment of this entire podcast, I would have to say it's probably the moment that I realized Eric lost the bet to farm and he has to eat all the Buffalo Wild Wings, the Blazing Wing Challenge.

Speaker: Great pick, Brent.

Speaker: I didn't see that one coming.

Speaker: My...

Speaker: Whenever I look back at all the moments throughout these whole last two seasons, my favorite pick has to be when Eric went from so far in the middle of the pack that it seemed unlosable and he completely collapsed to lose and get the blazing wings of death right to the face.

Speaker: That would probably be my favorite moment if I had to pick one.

Speaker: Wow.

Speaker: For Lent, I'm giving up wings.

Speaker: We'll go on a Sunday.

Speaker: That's the rule.

Speaker: You can go on Sundays.

Speaker: I'm claiming a religious exemption.

Speaker: Okay.

Speaker: We're going to go through and we're actually going to take our favorite ones.

Speaker: We just had to throw that right in Eric's face.

Speaker: Hilarious.

Speaker: So to start it back over, my favorite moment was probably when me and Eric interviewed Coach Porton.

Speaker: That was so much fun.

Speaker: I think we had done like two or three episodes before that.

Speaker: We had no idea what we were doing, but we really just got to sit down, have a beer with Coach Porton.

Speaker: And that was, it was so much fun just to pick his brain.

Speaker: And, you know, you always think that like a head football coach, he obviously knows a lot about football, but there's a lot more you learn about him and how much he just knows the game and understands the game.

Speaker: And for me, that was just really, really cool to be able to do that.

Speaker: That's a great pick.

Speaker: That was a fun, interesting episode.

Speaker: I think my favorite moment, I'm going to have to go back to Thanksgiving.

Speaker: Two Thanksgivings ago, we all got together in Eric's garage.

Speaker: And dude, it was like 10 in the morning.

Speaker: And we were sitting there pounding on Thanksgiving day, 10 in the morning.

Speaker: We were sitting there pounding twisted teas and beers, like about to go to our family Thanksgivings.

Speaker: And we had one of the most fun episodes we've ever had, only to realize like an hour later that like it was raining and it was loud in his garage.

Speaker: None of y'all could even understand the entire podcast or listen to it.

Speaker: It was unbelievable.

Speaker: It wasn't even good.

Speaker: You couldn't understand what we were saying.

Speaker: But that was by far the most fun episode we've ever had.

Speaker: Just pounding beers, 10 a.m., Thanksgiving Day.

Speaker: That's my favorite moment of our podcast.

Speaker: phenomenal pick that was that is in the epitome of what this show has been dane you talked about it before this show stinks i mean this podcast is awful but it's so funny when things like that come back to bite us in the ass and that's been some of my favorite ones is like those things that have come back to bite us in the ass those takes that ended up being horrible our opinions where you realized why

Speaker: None of us will ever do this for a living.

Speaker: So my favorite example of this, and maybe one of the funniest moments on this podcast was when Dana and I had a solo podcast that we just ripped into the Aggies for like an hour straight.

Speaker: And we got off and immediately said, this was the worst thing ever.

Speaker: So my favorite moment was Brent's five minute rant on Texas Tech and Lubbock and Raider Rash and just ripped us to shreds.

Speaker: So my favorite moment had to be Brent just giving the karma right back to our faces, and it was just the epitome of what this show is.

Speaker: And it was just so fun and easy to laugh at ourselves, and it was fun to hear Brent say some colorful stuff for once.

Speaker: Oh man, great picks all around.

Speaker: Brent, I cannot believe you just took that Thanksgiving Day episode.

Speaker: That is literally, I have it on the very top of my sheet.

Speaker: That was the only thing I had written down because I didn't think anybody else would take it.

Speaker: So that was a great day.

Speaker: Obviously it was very special to me.

Speaker: So I got to call an audible here.

Speaker: So my favorite moment, I'm just going to go back to...

Speaker: So right when football season was going to start last year, it was just like, okay, you're getting so excited.

Speaker: There's so much hype around the season.

Speaker: Everybody's so hopeful to begin the year.

Speaker: And I remember I was listening to Bobby Bones' show.

Speaker: And then right after I started, they started a football podcast.

Speaker: And I was like, Bobby Bones started a football podcast.

Speaker: It's like, what in the world?

Speaker: So I went and listened to it.

Speaker: And it was entertaining.

Speaker: It was about 45 minutes.

Speaker: It was him and Eddie and a bunch of different guys that just –

Speaker: interviewed some people, made some picks and had a good time.

Speaker: I was like, okay, if they can do it, I was like, I know we can be entertaining.

Speaker: I know we can start a podcast.

Speaker: So I believe the original text that I sent out and Slade, you weren't in the group text, but at the time it was me and Brent and Chad and Dane.

Speaker: And the original text said,

Speaker: we should start a podcast.

Speaker: Exactly what I sent in the group.

Speaker: And we started kicking it around and it was like, okay, who could we get to legitimately lead this podcast?

Speaker: It was like, Slade kind of wants to do this for a career.

Speaker: Like, this is what he's going to school for.

Speaker: It's like,

Speaker: Let's get Slade and he can be the anchor of this thing.

Speaker: He can be a Reese Davis.

Speaker: Let's put together a round table and let's start this sucker.

Speaker: So I'll go back to that because it was just so funny and started just so like organically and from the ground up.

Speaker: And it was just so fun the way it all came together.

Speaker: Okay, Eric, I just went and searched in my text bar and you're exactly right.

Speaker: It is a text with Brent, Chad, you and me.

Speaker: September 16th at 920 a.m.

Speaker: Can we start a podcast?

Speaker: LOL.

Speaker: I think we could be good at it.

Speaker: Literally, the next text I sent in, I just said, we can call it FFF, football, farming, and physical therapy.

Speaker: Wow, that is crazy.

Speaker: I forgot that it started like that.

Speaker: Yes, awesome.

Speaker: That's my favorite moment.

Speaker: So I guess I get to go back to back and I'm glad I get to go back to back so we can steal my pick on this one.

Speaker: So I'm going to steal Dane's pick.

Speaker: And the second round is a listener that you are surprised listens.

Speaker: This is a dear, a close person to us.

Speaker: He's our first cousin, Dustin Sneeterjohn.

Speaker: Dustin, I love you.

Speaker: You're my boy.

Speaker: I cannot believe you listen to this podcast because I know you don't really give a shit about sports.

Speaker: So Dustin, thank you for listening.

Speaker: It honestly means so much that you do listen.

Speaker: I think it's so awesome.

Speaker: He is my surprise listener for the second round.

Speaker: My pick originally was going to be surprised to hear anyone listen to this podcast because it's just a shit show each week.

Speaker: But my real pick is a guy that I saw at the Cornerstone Ranch the other day whenever Shelby and I went to go vendor shopping and all that fun stuff, David Martinez.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: You know, he's you always know him as just a big, you know, intimidating guy that is really kind of a softy at heart, really nice guy.

Speaker: And he comes up to me at at the at this at this vendor thing.

Speaker: And he's like, dude, I love the podcast.

Speaker: I'm sorry I'm behind.

Speaker: I was like, David, don't apologize for being behind.

Speaker: I like I don't know.

Speaker: I don't know if he's made it this far into our season.

Speaker: I was like, but David, don't don't don't feel like you have to go back.

Speaker: Just skip to whatever episode it is.

Speaker: You didn't miss anything.

Speaker: It's fine.

Speaker: But it was just so funny to see a guy like David Martinez that you would think has no business listening to this podcast.

Speaker: And he's like, no, I get a kick.

Speaker: I think it's funny as shit.

Speaker: And it's just like, man, at least we can make somebody laugh.

Speaker: At least we can get a guy like David Martinez, solid-ass dude, listen to this podcast.

Speaker: So David Martinez, my pick.

Speaker: I love that.

Speaker: My person that I just want to give a huge shout out to, Slade, I believe he was in your class.

Speaker: I'm pretty sure he was.

Speaker: I know he was a freshman when I was a senior.

Speaker: He was RB Gist.

Speaker: What a freaking legend.

Speaker: This guy has been one of the best fans we've had.

Speaker: He has been very interactive with the Instagram.

Speaker: He will text me after certain episodes.

Speaker: One time I was struggling with the name of the Beer Mario Kart.

Speaker: He's just the man.

Speaker: I love him.

Speaker: I remember doing UIL spelling with RBGIST.

Speaker: The dude was a wizard.

Speaker: He could spell any word.

Speaker: He was so freaking smart.

Speaker: So I just want to give a shout out to you, RBGIST.

Speaker: I hope you're listening.

Speaker: I still owe you like a hat and a shirt.

Speaker: You are the man.

Speaker: And thank you for listening and being such an awesome fan and just being an absolute stud and a good speller.

Speaker: Thank you, RBGIST.

Speaker: The people on the streets know him as our beast, actually.

Speaker: Our beast is an absolute icon here in Lubbock.

Speaker: And every time that him and his future wife, Liberty, would come and sit with us in the stands...

Speaker: RB and I would spend half the game talking about the actual game on the field and the rest of it talking about the Triple F podcast.

Speaker: I mean, he was giving me hints.

Speaker: I don't know if you all know, half of this podcast is coming straight from RB's magic dome upstairs where he's just got this giant brain that is just leading society.

Speaker: So RB, you are a legend.

Speaker: We love you.

Speaker: Dane, go for it.

Speaker: That is so funny.

Speaker: I knew David Martinez was coming up.

Speaker: He was going to be mine, but I knew he was coming up somewhere.

Speaker: And Dustin was on there too.

Speaker: Those are all great.

Speaker: That's why I wanted to do this pick because I was like, I don't know.

Speaker: I just need a refresher of –

Speaker: people actually listen to this show and we're not just wasting time.

Speaker: But my surprise listener is Papa T, Tom Brorman.

Speaker: Tom listens to this religiously.

Speaker: Like the other day, he was giving me a ride back to my pickup, like this past week.

Speaker: And he said, are y'all really going to make Eric all those wings?

Speaker: And I said, hell yeah, we are.

Speaker: And he said, y'all are such dicks.

Speaker: I love it.

Speaker: So shout out to you, Tom.

Speaker: You are such a great listener.

Speaker: We really appreciate everything.

Speaker: that you've put into this podcast.

Speaker: With the third round, we're going with our favorite draft.

Speaker: This one's tough.

Speaker: We've had a lot of good drafts, but I feel like my favorite was whenever we drafted our head coach, defensive coordinator, and offensive coordinator.

Speaker: That one was so much fun.

Speaker: It was real funny.

Speaker: Everybody had different routes to go.

Speaker: I think I fell out of my chair at one point during that draft, if I remember correctly.

Speaker: But that was just one of the all-time favorite drafts that we did.

Speaker: Brent?

Speaker: That's a good pick.

Speaker: I would say that my favorite draft, we've had some good ones, was our best beer draft.

Speaker: So it was like, you know, a Harvest Combine beer.

Speaker: It was a beer on the lake or it was a podcast beer.

Speaker: All those great beers that you have with the right people and the right environment and the right setting, the right place.

Speaker: That was by far my favorite draft.

Speaker: We had some phenomenal beers.

Speaker: picks out there.

Speaker: That was the best draft we've done.

Speaker: I knew that one wasn't going to make it back to me.

Speaker: My favorite draft was when we did the football experience draft.

Speaker: It was where we did the one drink, one food, in one place to watch the game.

Speaker: I don't know.

Speaker: It may not ring a bell, but it will whenever I tell you that Chadillac Fangman picked

Speaker: Mason Cook's basement in his first round for his place to watch the game.

Speaker: Mozzarella sticks and tropical punch Capri Sun for his drink to watch while he was watching the game.

Speaker: Chad, we miss you.

Speaker: We love you so much.

Speaker: He was the funniest guy ever whenever it came to these drafts.

Speaker: So the football experience draft was a hit.

Speaker: We got to talk about everything we love about football beer.

Speaker: It was just everything that's great about this podcast.

Speaker: So that's my pick.

Speaker: So I think this was one of the very first drafts we did.

Speaker: But I think my favorite draft we did was the candy draft.

Speaker: One, because I totally dominated the draft and had the number one draft picks overall.

Speaker: But two, I think it was... You took Butterfinger.

Speaker: You did not dominate that draft.

Speaker: I remember that.

Speaker: You took Butterfinger.

Speaker: timeout timeout I had yellow M&Ms and Reese's peanut butter cup I had multiple people text me say dude domination elite two picks there but then you took Butterfinger you only beat Brent because Brent didn't take any chocolate in that draft that is you dominated Brent you did not dominate that draft Butterfinger get out of here I think Brent took Sour Patch Kids like number one all I remember is Brent losing the draft by a mile

Speaker: off of me freaking hop off the sour patch kids hop off uh you're just mad because you can't have sour patch kids during lent this year that's accurate oh it's so funny so for the fourth round we're doing our funniest thing that has happened on the podcast

Speaker: Okay, there's so many ways to go.

Speaker: I'm not going to say the one that I want to because it's not my story.

Speaker: It's going to be better coming from somebody else down the draft.

Speaker: But to me, you got to go way back to the early days of this podcast.

Speaker: And it's when Tua fenced when he hit his head and he had like multiple concussions.

Speaker: And Brent says Tua and like CTE.

Speaker: like probably 20 times within about three minutes.

Speaker: And he just kept saying, Tua has CTE, like Tua has CTE.

Speaker: He said it probably 25 times.

Speaker: And it was one of those things is like, this is borderline inappropriate, but why is it so funny?

Speaker: And why can I not like stop laughing?

Speaker: And it was when we were, you know, we started with like the farming and then the football and then we would try to bring in like some medical advice and we would bring Brent in to like talk about, you know, physical therapy.

Speaker: But really it was like we were trying to act like he was like a certified doctor.

Speaker: And it was just so hilarious just the way he just kept saying Tua has CTE.

Speaker: So I'm going to go back to that as my funniest moment of the podcast.

Speaker: I will never forget whenever we would bring in Brent and we'd be like, Brent, give us an injury breakdown.

Speaker: And he would have to go through the ESPN like sit or, you know, questionable list.

Speaker: And he would just be like, he's out with an ankle injury.

Speaker: So maybe watch him.

Speaker: The first episode, I had a giant list.

Speaker: I think I read off like 30 names of players and injuries and how long they were going to be out.

Speaker: And it was so much work.

Speaker: And I remember thinking, I can't keep this up.

Speaker: I was in physical therapy school.

Speaker: Oh my gosh, that is hilarious.

Speaker: That is so bad.

Speaker: And you're right.

Speaker: You guys were asking me all these questions.

Speaker: I don't know shit, guys.

Speaker: Okay.

Speaker: I didn't know what was going on.

Speaker: I'm not a neurologist.

Speaker: Okay.

Speaker: Dude, I remember that first time when you had that long list.

Speaker: We're probably like half the way down the list and you're still going.

Speaker: And I looked at Eric and I said, maybe we should just scratch this idea.

Speaker: It would be like the third string running back for the Jets is out.

Speaker: Take him out of your fantasy lineup.

Speaker: There would be a random knee injury and I'd be like, so Brent, what's this guy's like time to return?

Speaker: Like how long is this recovery going to be?

Speaker: And Brent's like, you know, I don't know.

Speaker: It's like kind of the severity of the injury.

Speaker: And we were like, I was like, oh wait, Brent's not an actual certified doctor yet.

Speaker: Maybe we should stop asking these questions.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: Oh, that is too good.

Speaker: You know what this reminds me of?

Speaker: It's like off the hangover, they're like, Stu, you're a dentist.

Speaker: If there's an emergency, you should still call a doctor.

Speaker: You should still call the ambulance.

Speaker: Brent, you're a doctor.

Speaker: Do something.

Speaker: Oh, he goes up to the front desk.

Speaker: He's like, Oh, I'm a doctor.

Speaker: He's like, he's a dentist.

Speaker: And you know, maybe don't, maybe don't, if you, there's still, gosh, damn, that's funny.

Speaker: My favorite moments.

Speaker: Also, there's so many, I was telling the guys before I was like, I don't even like, it's, it's hard to remember like the specific moments because it's always like Dane saying something out of pocket or Brent getting caught, like watching TV, not paying attention.

Speaker: Like it's something out of nowhere that just makes me giggle every time.

Speaker: But yeah,

Speaker: One thing that one of my good buddies, another surprise listener, you know, Carlos Gonzalez brought up.

Speaker: He told me that Dane falling in love with Zach Milfson was one of the funniest things he's ever heard.

Speaker: Whenever we heard, and this is also a very early Triple F season one thing, whenever...

Speaker: It came out that Dane's favorite quarterback on his newfound jets was, you know, banging moms, whatever it was.

Speaker: And Dane was like, you know what?

Speaker: He's Zach.

Speaker: You know, we said it was Zach Nelson and Dane went on for weeks with that bit and just slowly had to stop defending Zach Nelson.

Speaker: So early days, Dane going in on Zach Nelson is just always going to make me laugh.

Speaker: So that's some of my funniest points of this podcast.

Speaker: Oh, that is so funny.

Speaker: The funniest thing about this podcast, what?

Speaker: Hey.

Speaker: My bad.

Speaker: Well, hurry up, boy.

Speaker: Chill out.

Speaker: You got to unmute yourself.

Speaker: If you unmuted yourself, then maybe I would have stopped talking.

Speaker: Okay.

Speaker: My funniest moment,

Speaker: I would have to say it was when me and Slade did the episode by ourselves and Slade went haywire.

Speaker: He went berserk and just started ripping the profession of farming.

Speaker: And I mean, he went all out.

Speaker: It was almost awkward where I had to come in and be like, all right, time out.

Speaker: We respect farmers.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: We love farmers just because we didn't choose to do this and choose this lifestyle.

Speaker: We still love you guys, and we still respect this profession.

Speaker: But Slade went hard, and he went at you guys, and it was so funny, and it was just good.

Speaker: It's just kind of a combination of that and all the very inappropriate things that Slade kind of slid in there with his talk.

Speaker: He would just...

Speaker: And there's no specific examples I can think of, but I know there were so many points where we would just kind of look around like, wow, did Slade just say that?

Speaker: And he just kind of snuck them in there.

Speaker: So that's been the best part of this whole thing is just Slade, you've done such a good job of keeping this thing rolling and like doing all the behind the scenes work and just keeping it on track.

Speaker: And oh, just so much respect for you because...

Speaker: it's impressive what you do, but man, that has been the best part of it.

Speaker: But thank you for all you have done.

Speaker: It has been hilarious and awesome.

Speaker: Kiss ass.

Speaker: Uh, I think that was the same episode that you, Brent basically called me a raging alcoholic on.

Speaker: He was like, I know Dane's not going to be here, so you're not going to hear very many beer cracks because I'm pretty sure he drinks about a 12-pack during the podcast.

Speaker: Don't know what he drinks before that.

Speaker: It was completely unnecessary, but, you know, I get it.

Speaker: The funniest thing, I wonder if this is what Eric was going to say earlier, but the funniest thing that had anything to do with the podcast was while me and Grace were on our honeymoon,

Speaker: And we go to listen to it.

Speaker: And all you three did was talk about Shelby.

Speaker: Whenever you recapped the wedding, all you did was talk about Shelby.

Speaker: Because that was her first outing in front of everybody.

Speaker: And you didn't.

Speaker: Grace was listening.

Speaker: She's like, I was the bride.

Speaker: And they didn't say anything about me.

Speaker: It was so funny.

Speaker: She thought it was funny, too.

Speaker: She wasn't actually mad.

Speaker: But it was absolutely hilarious.

Speaker: Eric?

Speaker: Oh, that is funny.

Speaker: No, I can't believe that nobody said this.

Speaker: Dane, I thought this is where you were going to go with this.

Speaker: Honestly, I think the funniest moment of the entire podcast, when I literally fell out of my chair, I couldn't breathe, I was laughing so hard, is when Bethany's grandpa, Brent, what is his name?

Speaker: Give everybody a little reminder of Bethany's grandpa.

Speaker: The legend, Larry Kaufman.

Speaker: That was awesome.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: So yeah, Larry Kaufman surprised.

Speaker: We're like starting the podcast.

Speaker: And Brent goes, oh my gosh, Bethany didn't even tell me.

Speaker: Her grandparents are here.

Speaker: So he just disappears.

Speaker: He moves his screen and he leaves it on.

Speaker: He just leaves.

Speaker: And like we did the podcast, we were on there for like 30 minutes and we're just rolling through and things are going good.

Speaker: We're just throwing it around.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: And then all of a sudden, out of nowhere, on Brent's blank screen that's been blank for like 30 minutes now, Larry Kaufman puts his face right up next to the camera, just like on the internship.

Speaker: And he's just looking into it, like trying to figure out how to talk on the podcast.

Speaker: And he comes on and gives an awesome Texas Tech take.

Speaker: But like I was in the middle of trying to say something.

Speaker: And I know Chad and Dane, I kind of leave the room.

Speaker: And I got done, and I fell on the ground.

Speaker: I was laughing so hard.

Speaker: I totally forgot about that.

Speaker: That was the hardest I think I've ever laughed in my entire life.

Speaker: That was so great.

Speaker: Shout out to you, Larry.

Speaker: So that's it for the draft.

Speaker: But I had the boys – oh, Slade, go ahead.

Speaker: I was just going to say, like –

Speaker: some of my funniest moments have always come from like Brent on this podcast and two that need to be noted is whenever he got outed for drinking hot tea here on the podcast and Bethany has just tortured him with it each week.

Speaker: And it's just become a running joke that will always hold near and dear in our group text.

Speaker: And then number two, when him and Alex, they were on a ski trip together and

Speaker: And they're eating.

Speaker: They're having a family meal like in the middle of our podcast there.

Speaker: They don't even like take the Curtis common courtesy to mute themselves.

Speaker: They're just sitting there.

Speaker: And Brent is going for the most aggressive salad bite you've ever seen in your entire life.

Speaker: I didn't even know this much salad could fit on the fork.

Speaker: And he's just chomping into croutons and just crunching right next to the microphone.

Speaker: And we're like, Brent, what the

Speaker: Like, what are you doing?

Speaker: And he's just over here watching whatever he's watching.

Speaker: Like he said, just watching TV.

Speaker: It's just so funny.

Speaker: Like all of my funniest moments, I have all like about four out of the five here are from Brent.

Speaker: So Brent, thanks for bringing the laughs.

Speaker: So if you don't know, like when we record this podcast, we're on this app that Slade found and got us all hooked up on.

Speaker: But we, it's like a Zoom call, basically.

Speaker: We can see each other.

Speaker: So we can be like, oh, hey, let me talk next or whatever.

Speaker: But there's also, so at the bottom, you can mute your mic.

Speaker: But you can also turn your camera off.

Speaker: And the fact that Brent just had his camera like right up on his salad while he's dogging it and doesn't freaking turn the camera off was the funniest part.

Speaker: Half the head of lettuce stuffed on that fork.

Speaker: hilarious I was just wondering how what did Bethany feel like when you took all the croutons in the whole bag like did y'all have multiple bags of croutons or did you just take the whole entire bag for yourself no comment no comment there

Speaker: Oh, that is so funny.

Speaker: Boys, this has been some of the most fun I've ever had.

Speaker: Just talking about football with all y'all.

Speaker: But since this is our last episode, I had all the boys text me everything that's happened since we've started the podcast.

Speaker: Because it's kind of crazy to think how we've only done this for two years, but so much.

Speaker: has happened during those two years.

Speaker: I just kind of wanted to point some of the important things that have happened in our life.

Speaker: So we'll start with Eric.

Speaker: Eric expanded his farming operation.

Speaker: He took on a big challenge farming up in Stratford, took on a lot of acres up there and had to take a pretty big gamble on himself and, you know, just accepted that big challenge in life to go and get something like that.

Speaker: And so that alone is just very, very crazy that he did that.

Speaker: And also just absolutely awesome.

Speaker: Awesome for you, everybody in y'all's operation, just absolutely bananas.

Speaker: With Chad, Chad, he got engaged and married.

Speaker: And now he also, him and Yotta have a baby on the way, due in June.

Speaker: So those are two very big things that happened in Chad's life.

Speaker: For mine, I became a Jets fan for one.

Speaker: I also got married and I'm also expecting me and Grace are expecting our first baby boy here in July.

Speaker: Hopefully could be right around Brent's birthday.

Speaker: We'll see.

Speaker: So yeah, very cool on that.

Speaker: Brent, he got engaged, got married.

Speaker: And Brent, I don't know if I'm going to say this word right, but made it through the didactic.

Speaker: Did I get it right?

Speaker: Okay.

Speaker: Okay.

Speaker: He got through that portion of PT school, moved to Lubbock, took on a big challenge there, and he also started drinking hot tea.

Speaker: So good for Brent.

Speaker: Slade also got engaged, soon to be married, the wedding that Brent will not be at, and he graduated college and he upgraded to being an uncle, but with that, he downgraded away from his golden child spot.

Speaker: So you get some good and then you give some good there.

Speaker: Do you all have anything else to add, Slade?

Speaker: Yeah, this is bullshit.

Speaker: I've been the golden child for my entire life.

Speaker: And all of a sudden, like, I can't do anything.

Speaker: Ash Wednesday, I was the first one to send my ashes.

Speaker: I was so proud.

Speaker: I was like, Mom, Dad, look, I'm still a good Catholic, even though I'm two hours away.

Speaker: And they didn't care.

Speaker: They were just like, oh, Dane, you know, how's the appointment going with Grace?

Speaker: I was like, what the...

Speaker: I understand K-Bob is going to be a little legend.

Speaker: We're excited to meet him.

Speaker: I'm very excited to be an uncle.

Speaker: But also, I mean, this is kind of bullshit.

Speaker: But to bring it back in, boys, this podcast has been so much fun.

Speaker: It's funny.

Speaker: I was at a sales conference in Houston a couple weeks ago.

Speaker: And a guy was asking me, he's like, obviously, we had the most boring jobs in the whole world.

Speaker: Like, what do you do to like

Speaker: you know what do you do outside of this to keep yourself going like to take your mind off of how boring this job is and i was like well i'm a big football fanatic you know i i hang out with my fiancee whatever else and he was like yeah but what do you do and i was like kind of secretly ashamed but also proud to be like well i mean i have a podcast with you know our friend our friends and my brother and like that he was like oh is it like a big deal i was like no

Speaker: I think like 10 people listen, but I love that podcast because this, like the group text will always mean everything to me.

Speaker: Like I love being able to text y'all on game days to text y'all, you know, see what y'all think about my stupid takes to get here on here once a week and just talk to y'all and be able to actually, you know, see y'all and talk to y'all.

Speaker: I always tell people it's been the greatest thing for all of our friendships, my relationship with Dane, because it,

Speaker: forces me to talk to y'all all the time.

Speaker: And I would never do that.

Speaker: Otherwise, I would never just randomly call Dane for an hour every week.

Speaker: It's just not our relationship.

Speaker: But I'm glad that this podcast has put us in this place because I've had so much fun with y'all.

Speaker: I've loved doing this.

Speaker: I love slamming beers with y'all.

Speaker: And it's just been a damn good time.

Speaker: So cheers to the Triple F crew, boys.

Speaker: I love it.

Speaker: I love it.

Speaker: That's very tender, Slade.

Speaker: I can't wait till we all get together at Buffalo Wild Wings and we get to slam a lot of beers together and watch Eric eat some hot ass wings.

Speaker: It is going to be so much fun.

Speaker: It's going to be the perfect cap to this whole thing.

Speaker: It has been a blast.

Speaker: I will never forget how nervous I was the very first episode.

Speaker: I feel like my voice was trembling and I was like sweating and shaking.

Speaker: It's so funny to look back at that.

Speaker: It's so, so hilarious.

Speaker: It has been a blast.

Speaker: I cannot wait to go to Buffalo Wild Wings.

Speaker: Yeah, that is going to be the perfect ending, like you said.

Speaker: I remember when we first started this, Dane would come over to my house because we were the only two around here.

Speaker: Everybody else was... Brent, you were in Amarillo at the time.

Speaker: Slade was in Lubbock.

Speaker: We would sit on the back porch because it was September and it was still nice weather.

Speaker: And for the first, I don't know, half a dozen episodes or whatever, me and Dane would just...

Speaker: And when we started this thing, we didn't take it easy on the steel.

Speaker: I remember me and Dane, I mean, it was easy to kill like seven, eight, nine, ten beers a piece when we first started this podcast.

Speaker: I mean, we were getting after it.

Speaker: And we would just be on the back porch having to just crack it up.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: No, from the whole deal, I know it's just two years that it hadn't been all that serious of a thing, but it has been a blast.

Speaker: I look forward to it.

Speaker: I've loved every second of it.

Speaker: Couldn't be happier.

Speaker: Love doing it with you guys.

Speaker: Y'all are awesome.

Speaker: Eric, now that you say that, do you remember I used to like, I used to go over there by myself just to meet you over there.

Speaker: And then I had to start bringing grace because I needed someone to drive me home because me and you would hammer so many beers on that porch.

Speaker: It didn't really go down until we had to start moving into the garage.

Speaker: It wasn't near as fun then.

Speaker: But overall,

Speaker: Absolutely fun.

Speaker: Anybody who didn't listen to the episode before and you're just not listening, we don't know for sure when we're doing this Blazing Wing Challenge for Eric, hopefully in the next few weeks.

Speaker: But still, if you haven't already and you want to be invited, shoot any of us a text.

Speaker: We'll make sure that you know.

Speaker: when and where we are going to be doing this at.

Speaker: I still have, I need to give another shout out to all of our wives here for y'all remember they went and they bought us hats, t-shirts and koozies.

Speaker: Actually, Jeff bought the koozies because he lost a bet.

Speaker: But shout out to all of them for getting all that stuff for us.

Speaker: And we still would love to give y'all some of that merchandise.

Speaker: So if you go, you'll get some free shit.

Speaker: So better be there.

Speaker: Once again, just thank you to everybody.

Speaker: Slade, thank you for

Speaker: Everything that you did is tough being the leader on that deal.

Speaker: And you do a good job of picking up whenever we just kick it right back to you.

Speaker: I have one more thing to say, but, oh, I was going to say like, we, there's no, we could always do like a random episode here and there.

Speaker: Like we could, who knows, maybe we want to do one before the NFL season starts and then maybe one after the Super Bowl or, you know, we're not saying that there will never be another episode come out.

Speaker: So who knows, maybe we can throw in a few more.

Speaker: in our lifetimes.

Speaker: Like Brent always says, it's not, not necessarily a goodbye.

Speaker: It's maybe just to see you later.

Speaker: So Brent, I think it's only poetic that you take us away.

Speaker: One last banger of the week, take us home.

Speaker: Thank you to everybody.

Speaker: We love all of you.

Speaker: We appreciate you listening, but more appreciate, more importantly, I appreciate you guys.

Speaker: So Brent, take us home.

Speaker: You legend.

Speaker: Thank you, Slade.

Speaker: All right.

Speaker: Well, like Slade said, thank you all for listening.

Speaker: It has been a blast.

Speaker: I think it's only right for this last banger of the week to go back to the very first banger that we ever had.

Speaker: It is going to be Rock and Roll Never Forgets by Bob Seger.

Speaker: Don't forget, you can go on Spotify and go follow the Triple F Bangers of the Week playlist if you need to get you a taste of these.

Speaker: Get your weekend started off right.

Speaker: Set the tone.

Speaker: Set the vibe.

Speaker: But thank you guys for listening.

Speaker: Enjoy this song.

Speaker: Go out there this weekend and have some fun with some friends.

Speaker: Drink some cold brews.

Speaker: Maybe get some blazing wings.

Speaker: I don't know.

Speaker: But seriously, it has been a blast.

Speaker: Slay, you take it away with this song.

Speaker: I love you guys.

Speaker: So you used to shake them down, but now you stop and think about your big team.

Speaker: So now, sweet 16's time, ready and one.

Speaker: You get to feel it weary when the workday's done.

Speaker: Well, all you got to do is get up into your kid.

Speaker: Your inner fit.

Speaker: Come back, baby.

Speaker: Rock and roll, never forget.

Speaker: You better get yourself a partner, go down to the concert or the local bar.

Speaker: Check the local newspaper, chances are you won't have to go too far.

Speaker: Don't let yourself be ringing cause your beat's so strong.

Speaker: Crown river swaying and you're singing along.

Speaker: All you got to do is get in, into the mix.

Speaker: If you need a fix, you can call back me, rock and roll never forgets.

Speaker: Ooh, the band's still playing it loud at me.

Speaker: Listen to the guitar player making a scream.

Speaker: All you got to do is just make that scene tonight.

Speaker: Yeah, tonight.

Speaker: so

Speaker: And our sweet sixteenths, they're 31.

Speaker: Be a little tight, be in and under the gun, where all the trucks chillin' out there playing his lips.

Speaker: Get into your kids.

Speaker: Go back, baby, rock and roll, never forgets.

Speaker: Said you can call back baby, rock and roll never forgets.

Speaker: Oh, call back baby, rock and roll never forgets.

Speaker: Ooh.

Speaker: Oh, never forgive.

Speaker: Oh, no.

Speaker: Oh, no.

Speaker: Never forgive.

Speaker: Oh, yeah.

Speaker: Oh, no.

Speaker: Never forgive.

Speaker: Oh, no.

Speaker: Never forgive.

Speaker: Oh, no.

Speaker: Oh, no.
