Oh yeah, Baymax is just amazing. In my notes, I even have written slapstick that works, because slapstick so often doesn't work. And the way that Baymax just has the physical comedy that is hitting him around, falling over, getting knocked in the face weekend at Bernie's style. And that is the one thing like, I didn't even watch it this weekend and it's still hitting me like this. A lesser movie would have let the team stop him from pulling out the chip and have him realize, no, I couldn't have done that. That's not what Tadashi would have wanted. This movie let him actually defeat his team and get the chip out. Like that was insane. But you talk about the grief and I think I love that they didn't just swipe it under the rug.

Like the minute Baymax woke up, he didn't snap out of it. He didn't say, Oh my God, you're still here. You were what Tadashi was working on. I'm going to continue this. Instead, he was trying to dismiss Baymax. He was trying to still be the sunken, sullen, depressed grieving person that he was being.

And then it wasn't until later that he finally was able to get over it, even though he was fighting alongside Baymax, like you said, it was still there. And it was just a wonderful choice with the characters of not just letting it disappear because you have someone to give you a hug. He's instead fighting that hug and he's fighting that and he's trying to get over it his own way until he realizes he does need the others. Like Baymax says, you know, you need the people to call. You need the people to give you the hug. You need all those things.
