Speaker: And with that, let's jump right into the episode. this app but sort of I mean, we're changing things up a little bit. uh this this year um We're changing up the weekly show a little bit between the three of us. ah We're in a ton of leagues. In fact, Roger and I have a draft at 9 p .m. Eastern Standard Time right after this episode. So we're going to be... We're going to be drafting another. Yeah, I'm on it. I'm on it. I'm going, I'm going, I'm going. So between the three of us from the tunnel leagues, mostly two quarterback and super flex leagues. So we're, we're taking the real decisions from our own teams.
Speaker: matching them with what the broader fantasy community is talking about and helping you guys make better decisions with your own team. So we're really doing this for you. Okay. our little listeners and stuff for you guys. And we're making a. We're making a call on every single one of our teams and every single one of our tough decisions that we have.
Speaker: So let's just roll right into week one. uh we have a decision to make that i did not think we'd be making already in week one roger okay this is this is unexpected we're gonna start off with your guys these are two of your guys no is one of Maybe one of my guys. Maybe a half of one of my guys.
Speaker: CJ Stroud. versus Buffalo. Or Daniel Jones versus Baltimore. Roger owns both. Jones is quarterback. 23 for the week. Stroud has scored back 25. Roger, are you actually considering Daniel Jones over CJ Stroud?
Speaker: If you're setting the lineup right now, who are you starting? Look, this is 2QB life. This is 2QB and Superflex life. yeah i In my draft, like I ended up with CJ Strada as my QB2, Jordan Love as my QB1. And then I had a decision between Daniel Jones and Bryce Young. I've been a Bryce own bryce Young owner for a while. I said, let me go with Daniel Jones. Why?
Speaker: Because he was on a 31 touchdown pace in 2025. before he tore his ACL. The Colts were one of the best offenses in the league. before he tore his Achilles. um So that's... kind of my dilemma versus.
Speaker: The CJ Stroud aspect of it, hes we're kind of like looking back at his glory years from two years ago. We obviously saw what saw what's happened with regards to the offensive line. It did get better this offseason. But what obviously worries me is the play in the playoffs. so for me i'm kind of debating those two aspects i think daniel jones clean bill of health Full recovery from the Achilles.
Speaker: i might and look it's early enough in the season where i'm not really looking at defenses right like we're not going to start looking at last like teams have completely changed i'm more looking at like what type of upside i could get and i'm Pretty sure I'm going to go with Daniel Jones.
Speaker: He starts a bit of rushing upside. I like the play caller in Shane Steichen. I think, again, clean bill of health. I love what I saw from him last year with regards to him and Jonathan Taylor. so for now anyone who's in the same dilemma as me with regards to daniel jones as a QB3. or potential QB2, I do quite like him at least this week. And it's kind of a wait -and -see approach as well.
Speaker: We're okay with the... you I know you mentioned the running style, but you're okay with him coming off an Achilles and running? Yep. i was and it's a great great point knack i thought about the kirk cousins aspect of it where he came back from his achilles Kirk Cousins when he came back was a 36 year old.
Speaker: I don't even think Daniel Jones is 30 years old yet, right? and um Complete. Clean bill of health. He got cleared for all physical activity quite early.
Speaker: pretty much right away within camp um So I already kind of have a floor play as well with Jordan Love. I think Jordan Love's going to have a really big year this year. I think he's going to go back to his two years ago year where he's basically QB5. So I've been a bit more of a floor play with him. Look, he's on my team. I have to be optimistic.
Speaker: I was actually quite shocked. i know and You're slightly biased. you stab by yeah I was I was quite shocked he went C .J. Stroud over Tyler Shuck. Yeah, I mean... We could get into that very quickly, but I...
Speaker: I felt C .J. Strauss was a bit more of a floor play shuck. TBD, what's going to happen? CJ Stroud's still younger than Tyler Shook, too, right? So I know we poo -poo on CJ Stroud a lot. but he's in a contract year. he's really He wants to get paid. He rejected a $50 million dollars deal. And if you look at his stats, actually...
Speaker: Forgot. I forgot that I have a graphic here. um Look at just quickly the the numbers with Team CJ Stratton and Daniel Jones. despite the fact that CJ Stroud's season looked worse.
Speaker: still had 3000 yards, 19 touchdowns. eight interceptions. I think we're really being clouded by the playoff game. But... Offensive line improved Even with Jaden Higgins, it's a really, really good pass catching group, in my opinion. It did improve. it did improve they they they signed They signed... They signed some guys. They drafted some players. um'm I'm taking the optimistic route. But for this week, I'm going with Daniel Jones.
Speaker: interesting I like that call. Um... I'm apparently not the only one questioning my QB2. fab and knack you guys actually have malik willis in a few of your leagues and fab you actually have a debate that you have to worry about with regards to willis versus darnold this week um so fab i want to start with you between willis and darnold who are you going with
Speaker: Yeah, so um I drafted Willis for the ceiling, and I drafted Darnold for the floor. These are both my QB2s. My QB1 in this league is Justin Herbert, so he's going to be my... you know, my set in and forget it guy every single week. and All that stuff, right? But Sam Darnold, but you can't forget the guy. is He's a Super Bowl winning quarterback. And he threw for 25 touchdowns last year. 4 ,000 yards, and those are Solid QB2 numbers.
Speaker: But Malik Willis, I'm chasing the upside a little bit here. No idea what he's going to do in this ah offense, but you know he's going to be running a ton. He was, what, 3 -0 in this very little time as a Green Bay... ah quarterback and relief for a for Jordan Love whenever he was hurt. So take with that what you will.
Speaker: But you know, the guy got a little bit of money to get paid to play for the quarterback for the Miami Dolphins. I also like the matchup better too right now. I mean, I know we're... We're not going to talk about defenses, but you know Sam Darnold is facing.
Speaker: Christian Gonzalez and the New England Patriots versus Malik Willis that's facing The Raiders. and whoever is a plays defense insert name here. So I just feel like it's a softer matchup for Malik Willis.
Speaker: Easier path for him to getting like, you know somewhere between 17 to 20 fantasy points And again, similar like win and see approach. Like if I'm wrong and Sam Darnold like balls out this week, then great. I know what to do next week. You know, it's kind of hard to to decide when.
Speaker: The two quarterbacks are like. So closely ranked. Especially week one where you don't know how the defense is gonna play and all that like I just I'll just chase the upside here because you have already that safety with with my other quarterback. So that's that's my approach.
Speaker: Nak, I'm curious for you, would you go with Willis? but Let's factor in a super flex league. Would you go with Willis or a good running back or wide receiver option?
Speaker: Yeah, I don't know. I'm i'm i'm not ready. I don't think I'm ready to give Malik Willis the keys to the car. ah even in super flexes, I'd like to see how it looks. I know you mentioned, you know, the 3 -0 start in Green Bay.
Speaker: But he also had a. better cast in in in Green Bay, a supporting cast in in Green Bay and in terms of wide receivers where It's really a bunch of unknowns on that dolphin's depth chart. He's literally going to have to run, I feel, to make up any kind of fantasy production. And we all forget like A -chan, I think, is still there.
Speaker: um who's gonna see the the ball a ton i think they're gonna rush a lot with hn um So i i'm I'm more weary, I think, if you have a better wide receiver or running back in the flex position.
Speaker: I think i'm I'm more willing to. to take it off the gas for for week one. I'm not i'm not really... I'm not ready to jump off the the diving board just yet with Malik was just be and just because of that supporting cast and the offensive line isn't great either.
Speaker: Hey. There's just not a lot of... optimism right now in miami and i'm just I don't want to. waste a week. trotting them out there week one. Yeah, that's that that makes sense. And just quickly, Fab, you're going with you're going with Willis over Darnold because of the upside.
Speaker: Yeah, I'm going to chase the ceiling on this one this week one. Let's just throw caution to the wind. Why not?
Speaker: Knock. Yeah, and from a guy we're trying to figure out the ceiling on to one we're trying to figure out if we can trust we can't, Fad and Raj actually both have neighbors.
Speaker: One guy I was actually targeting if he was going to fall late. um But... The real question becomes, if he is active week one, Raj, are you comfortable putting him in your starting lineup right away?
Speaker: It's Malik Neighbors. It's hard not to. One of the big things with Malik Neighbors is in three games against the Cowboys, he has 13 targets average per game. and 113 yards average per game so And we know what he did last year with Russell Wilson against the Cowboys. I want to say it was almost a 200 -burger he put up, two touchdowns, I believe, too. It was an amazing game. It was one of his last few games before he got injured, obviously. so
Speaker: He's on my team. I took him i got great volume out of him i think in bushley got him in the the fifth round i want to say Yeah. And I have an update where. Look, if if it comes out that they're going to not play him, I have Devontae Adams on my bench for that league. but for me it's ah it's an automatic. If he's playing, he's a stud. And it doesn't matter if you drafted him you know in the fifth round, sixth round, you got him at a discount. you absolutely have to have to play it.
Speaker: Yeah, I don't know. yeah I agree i so i't agree with that. Yeah, it's it's all systems go for me. Honestly, like if he's if the they're going They're cautious enough with him. After the injury?
Speaker: That if he's ready to go and he feels good and he wants to play, they're going to put him out there as all systems go and you start him. He's going to be a top. 10. wide receiver this week versus that.
Speaker: The Dallas defense.
Speaker: but Look, guys, I don't think i there's there's much to add. I think you drafted neighbors to be your... ah your Your guy, I mean, in and like in most cases, he did slide to...
Speaker: uh fourth fifth six round uh roger your point you had him you got him in the fifth round and that would have been my wr3 so i would have had ah Same with me. I would have had no hesitation. but If he's active, you start him. These are the guys that...
Speaker: they're not gonna if they don't go it's because they can't and if they're in the lineup they're They're all systems go. you might He might be on a little bit of a snap count, but even at that... yes Even at that, like.
Speaker: Again, these players don't need a million snaps to be productive. Yeah, I definitely agree he's going to be on on a snap count. I just want to reference maybe a Roma Dunze as a quick parallel because there's been a lot of buzz in the fantasy community about Roma Dunze quickly. this is similar type of situation where He's he's been injured in practice. through Ben Johnson said there's a good chance he plays. but it's still very early in the week. I think Roma doomsday is a different.
Speaker: beast of it where There hasn't been a great buzz about him during the offseason. There's been a lot of talk about Luther Burden. uh you know colston loveland is there as well so For him, you know If he goes into it with a designation, maybe 50 -50, but he's... It seems like he's more injured.
Speaker: but then healthy but they do play with him they they do play with him I would likely temper expectations. on someone like Roma Dunzey, just because I don't think the ceiling is that high for him. And I think it's it's more of ah a Luther Burden season from a Chicago Bears standpoint.
Speaker: Yeah. Hmm.
Speaker: Yeah, I agree with that call. Wait, but Nag, it's funny. but yourre Yours is almost a similar situation but the opposite situation. Every report... On Javante William Seenston. Make his week one role look.
Speaker: Better? But consensus has him all the way up at RB11. So if you didn't own him today. Are you still buying him before Sunday? 100%.
Speaker: but i And I, honestly, I... Really, I. i Drafted him ahead of a lot of guys. um i needed ah I needed a running back. and there was um I forget which which ones were available, but there were some pretty good ones ahead of him. in I mean... based on the ADP.
Speaker: Javante Williams has... No one. There is literally no one. behind him he is going to be the bell cow he He is great in pass protection. So he's literally never going to get off the field.
Speaker: He is going to get the ball a lot. I think he's going to have... he could potentially have an even better year than last year. there's There's no one. There's really no one behind him. I i wanted a bunch of Javante Williams stock, and I'm i'm glad. I'm i'm actually...
Speaker: Pretty happy that I got him. And as my RB1, I... I feel like I love that. And. late buy as well. So this guy is going to be kind of your set it and forget it running back until I think week 13 until he has his bye.
Speaker: If you have an opportunity to buy Javante Williams, I suggest you buy. yeah i i would agree with that i wouldn't overpay for him because From a pass catching perspective, that's kind of his weakness.
Speaker: I think the... cowboys running backs they've targeted their targeted league low 13 percent overall So you you're not going to get much pass catching out of it. So I don't think I would overpay for him, but he's he has a very, very nice floor. And I would agree yeah as a kind of mid -tier RB1, he's very solid on that front.
Speaker: Um... And speaking of guys whose hype has taken off, Fab and Knack, you guys are both invested heavily. in parker washington i have some stock in parker washington as well and now he's sitting at wr26 in consensus so fab has it reached a point where you're actually starting him week one has the hype train gone a little bit too far with Parker Washington.
Speaker: No, i think it's I think it's at a good speed. I think he deserves to be in the conversation where he's in right now, where he's like a fringe wide receiver too. and Very, very good wide receiver three. I think that offense is going to be, it's it's another year in the Liam Cohen offense, right?
Speaker: And. And he's a good offensive mind. like You saw it when he was the off offensive coordinator for Tampa with Baker and that and the entire offense and how it was humming. And you saw it last year, too, what he did to Trevor Lawrence, who notoriously has always, what like Roger said, you know.
Speaker: um Is there meat on the bone that he's left that he's leaving there with Trevor Lawrence? We always ask that question. Turns out they're whites. and liam colin found it you know so i i'm i'm i'm on board with parker washley seems to be the The go -to favorite.
Speaker: Target for Trevor Lawrence. We saw what he did last year towards the end of the season. I'm sure he helped a lot of people win their fantasy championships. I got my arm. All systems go for me. like Good words at camp. and Um,
Speaker: Yeah. like um I have no issue starting him as a wide receiver 3 or receiver 2. I really don't. Not because he automatically and you're in your lineup to
Speaker: I'm going to say he's in my lineup 100%, but I think the hype is starting to get. Really overblown. This is giving me. If I can give a good comparison, it's giving me like the Rams vibe that everyone has them winning the Super Bowl. And like.
Speaker: something's going to come crumbling down. and like everyone now has them potentially losing the first game and in in san francisco i think yeah The hype that was there is good. And I look, i'm I'm still on the the train. I'm going to start him. I have some Parker Washington stock. I'm going to start him this week and I'm going to see, I'm going to roll with him.
Speaker: But I am starting to get a little worried. Um, that the the hype and the expectation is going to be two different, two different, like. we we forget like yeah btj fell off last year, but he was still a first -round pick. This guy was still a first -round pick. It's going into year three.
Speaker: Brenton Strange is there. He's still going to command some stuff. They have Jacoby. Meyers. Meyers, that's there. They have Bishal Tutin at running back. There's going to be...
Speaker: hunt while hunter i He's going to play some snaps. He's going to see a little bit, but he's been primarily on on cornerback. there's Look. Great player. I love Parker Washington. I tried to get him everywhere. uh and like i said i'm still gonna roll with him but the hype now is getting i think way too crazy um He went from being a WR4 -5 to like... WR. two three
Speaker: And it's it it could pay off, but it could also blow up in in people's faces. if So just a quick so ah stat. if you don't get guys if that's excuse me In snaps in six games where Washington, Thomas, and Myers were all on the field at the same time.
Speaker: Yards per route run, Parker Washington had 3 .14. Brian Thomas had 1 .38. Jacoby Myers had 1 .20. This he is the alpha. in this offense.
Speaker: So. For sure. that's um I'm chasing the hype on this. I'm sorry. first But are we saying that we're we're out on BTJ? Like he can't re -emerge as the top option there? As that number one, number... first so Never say, never say never, but...
Speaker: i think I think Parker is a top option there, and I think BTJ is option number two, and Ninja Kobe Myers is number three. I think that's the pecking order, in my opinion. And we're going to see this year. We're going to see this year. Oh, no, we shouldn't be complaining. You and I both have them.
Speaker: What? We're at a fever pitch with him. I'm not complaining. No, yeah you're we're at a fever pitch with him where You could almost sell him before the first game. and CO2 because the hype is insane like every social media post is about him every every training camp video is about him. You guys know how how bullish I am on him. but So it'll be it'll be really interesting to see. And it'll be interesting to see after week one, what if BTJ has goes seven for 120.
Speaker: Two touchdowns. People will be panicking. And we're going to talk about it in points. It's It's. It's going to be exactly. It's going to be overreaction theater for week one like it always is. And that's fine. That's fine. It's a season -long game. That's fine. Exactly. Fab, there's one more from your teams you have to hit because you've got a ton of Jacobs, and there's obviously a lot more uncertainty there when you drafted him.
Speaker: You have a lot of stock on him. You've got Jacobs in a bunch of leagues. And historically, the exempt list doesn't give us much of a timeline. Adrian Peterson, a few years ago, he got on the list. He actually never came back after that. Kareem Hunt never played again for that season as well. And even Michael michael vi Vick's situation was... quite different but He also didn't see the field much, so.
Speaker: Dropping him seems crazy given what his role could be if he comes back. Are you just holding everywhere? Or would you actually try to sell the uncertainty? A little bit of column A, a little bit of column B. The selling uncertainty really comes down to who has Marshawn Lloyd.
Speaker: in my league and if he's willing to listen to offers. He or she, excuse me. um Typically, I wouldn't necessarily be. Targeting. players that are on the commissioner's exemption list because like you said rogers The uncertainty is is is real.
Speaker: I've heard things about four games, six games, eight games. like I have no idea. The only really reason why I was targeting Josh Jacobs a little bit more than I would like to. was because his core... date got moved up from like mid -November to September 10th.
Speaker: So it gives me a little bit of optimism that they will probably want to get this figured out a little bit sooner than later. So at least now the answers are going to be coming to light quicker.
Speaker: um But at the same time, if there's somebody out there that. Has Marshawn Lloyd and wants to trade for Josh Jacobs then? I'm all ears because Marshawn Lloyd, I don't know if you guys saw the news today.
Speaker: But Green Bay is expected to be in a full -blown committee. So even the Marshawn Lloyd people that that drafted him right now, I don't know how excited you are that you're going to be getting a bell cow anymore. So.
Speaker: If you have Josh Jacobs and you're looking to trade. go for the guy that has Marshawn Lloyd and see what he's willing to give to you because this could be an asset that's not going to pay off at all. And that was the hype, Fab. Good point on the committee, because that was the hype I wanted to stay away from. And that's why I stayed away from Lloyd kind of everywhere.
Speaker: and and was watching other people kind of Grab them. a little bit higher. <unk> tips was the right play to to grab if if you if you could, right? Because Lloyd, like you mentioned, it's just you have like Caleb Johnson who's there, there's another running back who's there, and they're kind of just going to split time. and I mean, Caleb Johnson hasn' been hasn't been... great and Marshawn Lloyd's been Amen. injured pretty much his whole career. so It's going to be a weird situation there for sure in Green Bay.

Speaker: All right, those decisions we're we're dealing with this right now, now let's get ahead try to get ahead of a few that could look very different after one Sunday. so Take a look at the Superflex QB market.
Speaker: And for us, the starts are key. The starts at QB in a two QB. uh super flexi one um One good Sunday can completely change what... One of these guys is worth. So.
Speaker: QB pool right now, you Bryce Young, Kirk Cousins, Gino Smith, two Michael Panics, Fernando Mendoza. We got Sanders, Carson Beck.
Speaker: Bryce Cousins, Gino Tua. If you can get one cheap before Sunday, who's your guy, Fab?
Speaker: Uh, Like I'm keeping like season -long ah something is I don't know why. Don't ask me why. Something is pulling me towards Geno Smith. Something is pulling me towards Geno Smith. I don't know why. I just feel like it's...
Speaker: they're going to be behind He's going to have to chuck it a lot. There's going to be a lot of risk it, no biscuit. You're going to get a lot of INTs, but you might get a lot of touchdowns. It might be volatile. But. He does have good.
Speaker: That bit. you can argue he has probably some of the best. Options at wide receiver. Even at tight end. Even our running back. And their offensive line is not that bad, the Jets. So I don't know. I feel like Geno Smith has a little bit of a shiny upside available to him.
Speaker: um Obviously, you know. Speaking only from a two quarterback in Superflex League. type of scenario here.
Speaker: Yeah. says I mean... Look, he's a seasoned guy. I know it's kind of hard to find the words. He's the seasoned vet, I guess, right? Like there is going to be up and down and he is two seasons removed from a really great season. So who knows that could be rekindled, but.
Speaker: Um, Not much more to say on Mr. Gino Smith. Now you, Raj, actually, you're um you're holding on to Penix to his injury. ah If you can still get them cheap, are you buying or stashing?
Speaker: Yeah, I'm using Penix as my QB4 as kind of an upside play. Look, if you are a Drake London owner, you better hope Michael Penix comes back because in 14 tracked games.
Speaker: Drake London alongside Pennix. London has 91 receptions on 148 targets, almost 1 ,300 yards, and nine touchdowns. So the chemistry is there for sure.
Speaker: Pennix kind of really fits in better with what they want to do with that offense with London. So I'm definitely going to hold on to him because I think the upside can still be there. And it's an important year for Pennix and the Falcons. There's a new regime. Matt Ryan is there as the president of football operations. They absolutely need to see what they have out of Pennix because in this loaded QB draft.
Speaker: if they see that he can't be the guy. They need to move on quickly. So I'm. I don't think it matters what Tua does and then in the next couple of weeks. Penix is going to get in. one way or another. Yeah, have one point for sure. I think I think it's inevitable.
Speaker: So... But hold on a second Mac you have You got Bryce. Like, are you taking him over that? An entire group?
Speaker: Yeah. i I really think I am at this point. um Listen, I don't want anything to do with Kirk Cousins because you don't know when he's going to be replaced. Geno Smith, I just don't like the Jets' offense.
Speaker: Although I did take Breesol. Um, Tua, like, forget it. Again, you just mentioned it. Penix, like... Maybe Penix. Penix would be the only guy. Because even like Mendoza, you don't know when he's going to start. Then it's going to be a tough little transition. So you don't want to get stuck.
Speaker: uh, with that. And then like, Shadur, like him too, like he might play. uh Well, he might. he He will play at one point this year. And even Carson Beck, I just.
Speaker: I'd rather go with Bryce Young. You know what you're getting. you're like You know what you're getting with Bryce Young, especially as a QB3. you know what you're going to get. He's that, he's that. bi -week fill -in that hopefully gets you 15, 16 points.
Speaker: And maybe that one game where he you know goes off and... and scores over 20, but... I think I'm comfortable with Bryce Young over... for the rest. Yeah, I can understand that.
Speaker: But you know what? Enough of this quarterback sicko stuff, because we've been talking about this at nauseam right now. So let's same my idea. Let's talk about the skill guys a little bit. so we're looking for roles that could become obvious on sunday but aren't fully priced in yet. So Rajnak, you guys have both already made a pretty good bet on.
Speaker: Kenneth Walker III. So Raj, if you didn't own him. Are you still buying before Sunday at the RB12 price? I think Mahomes, the offensive line. isn't as good as it used to be i really believe coming off the acl they're going to want to run the football more there's talks about there being more under center running game which is something that she's haven't done in a while it's mostly been a shotgun shotgun running game and Kenneth Walker III is the type of running back you have to run under center. in
Speaker: I think it could be a really, really big year. I was able to get him in second or third round, even third round in some 2QB Superflex leagues. So I'm really, really happy about that. Obviously this weekend it might be a bit difficult against the the Denver Broncos, but he's a must start. And I think he's going to have, he's going to be primed for a really big year.
Speaker: Yeah, that's good value there at in the third round of the two -quarterback league. I guess, Maxine, for you you, I guess you're buying now or has the market already caught up in your opinion? No, I Honestly, i by Roger, I think you you really hit it but hit it on the head there. it's it's He's the top 12 play, right? Like, he's... ah he's He's the guy who's going to be, I figured that offense is going to be a little bit better than it looked. last year.
Speaker: In my opinion, Kenneth Walker had a really good year last year, stayed relatively healthy as well. He doesn't have a Charbonnet to kind of interject and kind of... you know. spell him and and get him off the ball. so Yes, fantasy is all about those workhorses. We spoke about it at Nauseam that there's really not many of them left in the league. so At a top five running back price, I think this was... um This was an easy call to make when he... yeah when he came our way.

Speaker: Right now, currently projected as RB21. Traven Henderson is expected to miss week one. In fact, it's been confirmed that he will indeed miss week one. So, Nak, quick one because this just changed as Henderson is out for week one. And Ramonji was already at RB21 in consensus. Does that make him an automatic start for you this week?
Speaker: This is one of my dilemmas this week, actually, because my starters are Javante Williams, who I'm not taking out of the lineup. And I have Swift and Montgomery in the flex.
Speaker: So I've got to make a decision where. Do I take out? I think I would take out most likely Swift, I think, ahead of Montgomery. I think Montgomery is going to have a good game against the Bills.
Speaker: I just don't know It's it's such a like he's right now he's my rb4 right and i i really liked ramon j stevenson uh he's been uh the The fumbles have been better.
Speaker: He didn't fumble at all after his, I think it was four times in two games last year or three games. He didn't fumble the rest of the year. Trevion Henderson still can't block, so he's not going to see the field as much as people think.
Speaker: he's the clear number one and this is the dilemma this is really like my if you're if you have If you can put them in your flex, I implore you to do so. Although I probably wouldn't start him in the flex because it is a Wednesday game. So you want to have that option. So I would start it in the running back slot.
Speaker: But... You have to do everything you can to get. Stevenson in your lineups this week. I he's i think he's primed for 20 plus touches easily. And if there's a way to get him in there, your running backs have to be pretty stacked to keep him out of your lineups this week.
Speaker: what did he What did he do against Seattle in the Super Bowl?
Speaker: I think he did pretty well. But as a whole, I don't think they did well. I think in the playoffs, he did well. As a playoffs, he did well. The Super Bowl, i don't I don't think it was that great. Look, the way I see this situation, and look, it's only week one.
Speaker: But a lot of fantasy analysts... This line kept coming up. during the off season. The Patriots told you what did they what they needed to tell you about Travion Henderson by how...

Henderson was playing really well when Stevenson came back. And then who was who was the lead guy? It was Stevenson. I don't understand where all this hoopla was coming from that Henderson automatically was going to be. taking over as a lead back.
Speaker: role And he may be also the better pass catcher. He is. Right now, he is. yeah he's It's okay to say that. he's always been released yeah like People look at him only as a bruiser of a running back. He's a great pass catcher. like This is a full -blown committee.
Speaker: at least it's a 1a 1b And Romandri is very much the 1E. That's what I'm saying. Might end up being Reggie Bush. He might be a Reggie Bush. Oh, that's a good comparison.

Yeah. um And actually another backfield that's changed in Green Bay. We actually mentioned Lloyd earlier with with Jacobs, but now the question is whether you're actually making a move for him.

No. No, I'm not to I see there's a lot of high a lot of ads going on he has six career carries yeah There's very few examples of a player who has six career carries and then goes on to the following season.

Speaker: There's been a lot of talk about Chris Rodriguez and Basial Tootin. If you needed the roster pot spot today. Is he staying, Mr. Chris Rodriguez? Fab. One million percent. Chris Rodriguez is a little darling.
Speaker: of Mr. Cohen. in that offense so you know something and they signed this guy to a two -year contract And they've already came out with the... with the depth chart. Weishaupt, Tutin, or? Chris Rodriguez, Jr.
Speaker: right now if i'm if i'm a buy shawl tootin owner And someone drafted Chris Rodriguez like 10 rounds later. I'm very upset with that or. in the depth chart that makes no sense to me I think.
Speaker: I think. I think Chris Rodriguez is going to have a serious role in this offense. He's a very good between the tackles runner. I think he's going to be get a lot of goal line work. I think he's going to get a lot of pass per work.
Speaker: And. So. It says a lot when the coach... goes to get you, signs you, puts you on the roster, and says you're going to have a role, right? So I think we're discounting that a little bit. um So yeah, for me, this is... a I'm not ready to put him in my starting lineup now. I want to see how this plays out, but I definitely this I definitely think he's He's a timeshare committee running back that could have an RB3 flex role for the entire season, hopefully RB2.
Speaker: Max, same for you. Are you holding him through week one? Yeah, I think, look, it's um I got him late in one of my guillotine or chop league, however you guys... um see it. um I mean...
Speaker: When it comes time to it, I think in that particular league, I'm... i'm you know If you need the roster spots, you're going to get rid of him. but i think from exactly what fab said i think i think he has a an opportunity to be a very big piece of that offense. And I'd be definitely holding on to him. There's no way. You don't want to be the guy that dropped, especially with running back so scarce.
Speaker: this year. This year has been really, really terrible. um It really dries up quick this year, like round six and there's like nothing left. You're going for backups already.
Speaker: um So yeah, there's no way there's no way I'm dropping him prior to week one. you would have Someone would have to get injured. And the waiver wire would have to be really primed for. And you if you had no one else on your on your roster to drop.
Speaker: Besides him, pretty pretty tough drop for sure. before week one.
Speaker: Yeah, well now... Good call, Knack, and Rodgers got to make his own backfield call with Jadarian Price. And consensus is a hell of a lot more confident in this guy than it is in Rodriguez. so gdaian price were This is New England.
Speaker: or George Helani versus New England. George Helani is the backup to Jared Price. so Roger owns price. Roger, right now, price is RB25. Helani is RB50. If both were sitting there right now and you had to roster one.
Speaker: Who are you taking? Well, it's obviously Price. ah You know, he's a late, late round pick. Late first round pick, obviously. It's an interesting question because We saw what happened with Kenneth Walker III last year.
Speaker: He was the first and second down back, and then he made way consistently to Jack Charbonnet. so And that was very frustrating. I think where they took price, he's way more electric than Zach Charbonnet.
Speaker: was He backed up Jeremiah Love in in and and Notre Dame. So I... I was a bit bearish on him. I wasn't sure about him because they they brought him in. they said some things about hey he won't be the first down the first uh first second down back right away but I took him quite high in one league, and I think he could be a big home run play. A lot of speed.
Speaker: It's going to be an interesting. This is a wait and see backfield though. I think it's it's definitely a wait and see backfield. I wouldn't. go out there and start putting price in your lineups immediately. I would see how the first week goes.
Speaker: Yeah. Do you agree with the 25 spot gap, though? Uh... We don't have much tape on alani. That's the thing Right, like... He played a little bit last year. He played a little bit in the preseason. He was a preseason darling.
Speaker: For sure. yeah There's also Emmanuel Wilson you have to factor in. Emmanuel Wilson had some really good games with the Packers. in relief of Josh Jacobs, which is another reason why, again, Price is a is a great guy to to draft if you're still drafting.
Speaker: or to definitely roster. But I would not be going out of my way to put him in my lineups. as I think RB25 is... I would crank that down a little bit. personally.

Speaker: ah Jeremiah. Love Tyler Algier. Jeremiah Love, Running Back 22. Tyler Algier, RB40, Arizona lists Algier. as the running back one and Jeremiah Love as the RB2.
Speaker: So. gadgets. Just one more backfield because this just changed obviously the um the depth charts that come out today. um arizona has algeria's rb1 and love is rb2 but consensus still has love as rb22 And Algeria is 40. So if you have to start one this week.
Speaker: Nak, who are you trusting to start? it's tough so this is a tough one Look. It's a, it's a, Algier is like that gnat at a barbecue, you know, like just bugging you and like you can't get it, it never goes away. But he's good though, he's good. he's He's not a bad running back for all, exactly. He's a very good running back. Is he an RB1? I don't think so.
Speaker: There's a reason why they have him at RB1. To me, it just means Jeremiah Love is still nursing that high ankle sprain and they don't want to give him the the ropes. If we're talking week one.
Speaker: I don't think I'm starting any of them to be quite honest with you. um They play a very good Chargers team. um They're probably going to be down early and often in that game. So the running game probably won't be. um They probably won't be using it all that much.
Speaker: I just, this is a tough trust for me. if if I know there's a lot of guys that drafted Jeremiah Love high. But this to me is telling. In week one, I don't think he's going to get the ball a lot and he may not even play.
Speaker: If you're really stuck. Then, yeah, if I had to play one, it would definitely be Algier. Hopefully it's in a flex spot and not a running back position. but i'm not I'm really not excited this week about...

Speaker: the the second The second they picked up Najee Harris. I knew he was going to have a role, and I feel like it's going to be more of a 1B to Scadabo 1A. And I think it's just going to be a hardball running back. He's a backfield killer. Yeah. It just tells me that they don't trust Scadabo. That's just what it tells me. They don't trust him fully. And it tells me that they really want to be a heavy, heavy, heavy running team.
Speaker: Heavy running team. Yeah. ah Yeah, my my yeah start sit would be, i'm goingnna I know I drafted Michael Wilson as my WR3, but I think I'm sitting him this week for Coker. actually as my WR3.
