Speaker: For this Earth Day, here's some lessons that I received from nature during my time in Costa Rica earlier this year.
Speaker: Nature asks us to go with the flow.
Speaker: And that the sunny days are just as important as the rainy days.
Speaker: And the storms are really important to get us to slow down, but also to clear out a lot of debris.
Speaker: There was a major storm one night and this was the beach the next day. and I sat amongst the debris and it felt like Sometimes i just need, we just need to sit with our stuff, to sit amongst our stuff, let it clear out, let it wash away, let it be seen.
Speaker: might be yucky, but we need to acknowledge it, witness it, and accept it.
Speaker: Let us examine it and let us make peace with it and may it be washed away.
Speaker: The little sloth friend reminded me that even if you're moving slowly, it's okay as long as you're moving with intention and in the direction of your desires and your dreams.
Speaker: It's wise to assess the situation and then figure out where you need to go from there.
Speaker: They're the leaf cutter ants. And if you notice, they work together. They have these pieces of leaves, their food, they carry them, and they're all working together in community.
Speaker: It reminds me that if we work together, bit by bit, we can make change. And that even if progress is slow over time, it accumulates and everyone can play their part.
Speaker: And everyone has a role to play.
Speaker: And of course, that love is everywhere.
