Primetime Pints: The seventh? We're going to go over some. Division leaders. I'm Tanner Green. This is my co -host Dylan Guthrie. Dylan. What are we here for?

Primetime Pints: Regardless, so we are four games into the season. that means we're basically quarter the way through now we have 17 game season but regardless we're About 25 % through the season.
Primetime Pints: We're gonna go through the division leaders. Kind of see if we think this is going to hold up. or what changes we may predict. and what the playoff picture might look like.
Dylan: That would... You want to start AFC, NFC? What do you want to do here? Out.
Primetime Pints: You tell me. Where are you on this?
Dylan: Let's go AFC. We'll start at the top AFC East Who are you going with?
Primetime Pints: Okay. Well, currently the standings, we have Bills at 3 -1, Patriots 2 -2, Jets 1 -3, and three in the Dolphins 0 -4. I think the easiest take in all of this is that the Dolphins will not make the playoffs.
Dylan: I think that is a pretty safe bet. I'm gonna go ahead and lock that one in.
Primetime Pints: Yeah, if the dolphins make the... You know how part of my take always has a pinky bet?
Primetime Pints: you know Do you know what that is? Are you familiar?
Dylan: Yes, I've heard of yes. Yes, yes, yes.
Primetime Pints: Yeah, so Big Cat will have a team that... he'll predict if they win the super bowl he'll cut off his pinky if the dolphins make the playoffs that could be a pinky bet i mean i just don't see any way that happening
Dylan: Unless they just somehow turn everything around, which I highly doubt is gonna happen.
Primetime Pints: See you. Same for the Jets. I mean, this is a two team division. Period. And I... Once again, three or four weeks, I don't see the Patriots.
Primetime Pints: beating the bills. Even though they just beat the Bills.
Dylan: They did. They did. I still think the Bills win. But the Bills defense is... horrible. Like it's not good. They're almost equal in points for points against or against.
Dylan: The Patriots.
Primetime Pints: So...
Dylan: Is the best defense in that division. So that's the only thing they have really going for them.
Primetime Pints: The...
Dylan: And if they don't start picking up ah offense. They're not going to get anywhere. But.

Primetime Pints: The Patriots do have the easiest strength of schedule left of the four teams.

Primetime Pints: So they have the 21st easiest schedule. in the NFL. Buffalo has the 11th. hardest. So. So I should i should say 21st hardest, which...
Dylan: It's gonna be tough.
Primetime Pints: makes it one of the Eleven easiest.
Dylan: It's going to be tough.
Primetime Pints: so yeah i mean i think I think the bills take the division. I think they hold on to where they're at.

Dylan: Patriots just aren't up. putting up any points right now. So I don't think they're going to be able to to keep up with the Bills.

Dylan: It's not going to be the Browns. That's not my pick i was not going to pick.
Primetime Pints: they're Hey, they're the leaders.
Dylan: I was not going to pick them to be leading this division. Tied this division, sorry. They are not leading. They are tied with the Ravens. The Ravens is who I would have picked.
Primetime Pints: The Browns.
Dylan: But also...
Primetime Pints: are listed first.
Dylan: the bangles the bangles are two and two hey Look at that. They're not 0 and 3.
Primetime Pints: And this. And the Steelers.
Dylan: But they also... Just watched Jamar Chase loses his head last game, so.

Dylan: Yeah, but... ah That team can't keep everybody healthy and on the field at the same time. And that's the biggest struggles of the last few years. So it looks like the trend's continuing right now. But if they can somehow...
Dylan: Keep everybody healthy they will push for it, but I think it's still gonna be the Ravens division to lose
Primetime Pints: Yeah, I think it's Between the Ravens and the Bengals, for sure. um I know the Browns are off to a 3 -1 start. But I think... You know, honestly, I don't know. It may be a race for the fourth per team in this division because the Steelers.
Primetime Pints: I don't, they're two and two, but I don't think they're good either.
Dylan: They're just this boring football. I can't can't do it. Can't watch the Steelers.

Primetime Pints: Once again. I think two teams. I think this is between the Jaguars and the Owen for Texans.

Primetime Pints: Last year, last year, the Texans started 0 -3. In week four, they played the Titans and then they went on a roll. This year? Oh, and four. And this week...
Primetime Pints: They play the Titans.

Primetime Pints: Bye. I think they're i think they' defense. Has gotten exposed through four or four weeks, but I don't think they're a bad defense
Dylan: i mean no they're not a bad defense at all Their offense.
Primetime Pints: So. I think they're gonna buckle in.
Dylan: Their ah offense needs to step it up a little bit.
Primetime Pints: I think they're gonna buckle in. and they're gonna make a push. It may not be enough to catch the Jaguars. Um... But. I think you gotta, you gotta at least consider it.
Dylan: I just... The Colts, I just don't think, have anything besides Jonathan Taylor. If Jonathan Taylor's not playing well, the c Colts aren't playing good. so I don't think it's enough to get win them win them this division.
Primetime Pints: Yeah. Period.

Primetime Pints: Before the year. I think a lot of people thought it was going to be the Chargers and the Chiefs battling at the top. And the Chargers are 0 -4 and look completely lost. Uh... Once again, the surprise of all this is the Raiders.

Primetime Pints: I touched on the Raiders today in my... Little Wednesday. morning video and Somehow they are the underdogs against New England this weekend.
Dylan: Well, New England just did just come out and beat Buffalo.

Primetime Pints: I'm assuming it's in New England. I don't think...

Dylan: But hey. If their defense keeps playing the way they have except for against the Chiefs. then I think they shut down the... Patriots pretty easily.
Primetime Pints: So of the four in the division, Denver has the easiest remaining schedule, then Kansas City.

Dylan: the chiefs win it but i think the way the division goes is chiefs broncos raiders and then chargers i think the raiders end up dropping behind the broncos as the season goes on

Primetime Pints: let's Let's look at... the Chargers' remaining opponents for the season, okay?

Primetime Pints: And... We'll start with the easy ones. that they might have a chance to eat.
Dylan: Pretty sure they have a week remaining schedule, aren't they?
Primetime Pints: No. They have the seventh toughest remaining schedule in the NFL.

Primetime Pints: So they're easy opponents.

Primetime Pints: They've got the dolphins. The Jets. The Buccaneers. After that. They've got... the Texans, and the Patriots. I wouldn't call those easy

Primetime Pints: What you got? which you What you got for the NFC North?
Dylan: I think the Lions end up taking it.
Primetime Pints: Okay.
Dylan: They have a pretty easy strength of schedule remaining, and they're just going to start rolling and rolling. So. I think the Lions.
Primetime Pints: They write them. They're right in the middle. All four of these teams have... medium schedules remaining. ah Detroit has the 16th toughest. Chicago has the 18th toughest. Green Bay 14. Minnesota 12.
Primetime Pints: So.
Dylan: Give me the Lions. I don't trust Kyler Murray. That team does not stay 4 -0. Who did they play this weekend?
Primetime Pints: Well, they will stay 4 -0 because you can't...

Primetime Pints: Do you know who the leading League leader in passing yards is this season.

Primetime Pints: It is the combined starters that have played against the Lions.

Primetime Pints: All right. NFC South. this is you know We've talked a lot of smack on this division. Talked about. Maybe one of these teams isn't going to be 500. And then the last couple of weeks, the Panthers and the Falcons have both looked.
Primetime Pints: Good. moderately good michael phoenix comes back and all of a sudden the falcons I think they have the highest scoring offense in the last two weeks.
Dylan: I've been doing pretty good.
Primetime Pints: So...
Dylan: He makes a world of a difference, especially for Jake London.
Primetime Pints: After being down on them, down on them, down on them. i'm I'm turning over a new leaf. i I am picking the Falcons to walk out of the NFC South into the playoffs.
Dylan: Hot take.
Dylan: You know what? I'm gonna roll the dice. Give me the Panthers. Give me the Panthers. Not. A great schedule. to end the season, but you know what? Day mates.
Dylan: scrapped together some good football and won some football games here.
Primetime Pints: When you keep talking about these schedules, are you doing any research on them or are you just guessing?

Primetime Pints: Yeah. Okay, well, they are they have the 27th hardest schedule remaining, so that would be the fifth easiest.

Primetime Pints: My pick the. Falcons. I guess I should have done some research as well before I picked them because they have the fourth toughest schedule. So I might be jumping on the Carolina band with you.

Primetime Pints: Looking at it now, Atlanta's got to play San Francisco, Kansas City.
Dylan: Panthers, baby.
Primetime Pints: Minnesota, Baltimore, Chicago. and the Browns. are there Are there tough opponents, according to this? so
Dylan: Do you know what the Panthers have going for them? They play the bucks twice. And the Saints twice.
Primetime Pints: And the Saints. And the Steelers.
Dylan: And the Packers.
Primetime Pints: And the Packers. and the Eagles.
Primetime Pints: Who will? are no longer good.
Dylan: Yeah. They're selling house, baby. We've given up.
Primetime Pints: All right. Another contingent division. The NFC West. what you got What you got cooking in the NFC West?
Dylan: Hmm, this is tough. Because... The Rams were so... favorited when the season started, but they just. don't look like they can do much.
Dylan: i don't know this is i don't know honestly Seahawks running backs suck. So I think that's gonna hold them back a little bit cuz As much as I like Jason. I feel like they can eventually figure out how to play defense on him because there's no running backs to run that ball.
Dylan: I like the 49ers, but at the same time... It is an older cast, so it's going to be hard to keep that whole squad healthy. So you know what? Give me the ramps.
Dylan: Give me the ramps.
Primetime Pints: Okay. I mean, I talked about them on this week's episode. I'm taking the 49ers. I think they are the class of the NFC. I think that they are the team to beat in the NFC. This is another division, though, just like the NFC North.
Primetime Pints: Those are the two and NFC teams that will have multiple teams in the playoffs. Both of them will have at least two. And I think one of them will have three.
Dylan: I feel like the NFC West has a real high potential of being the team that has three.
Primetime Pints: It's going to be them or the North.
Dylan: Yep.
Primetime Pints: Because the South is only going to have one. They're not going to have two teams make. make it. the East. We'll get to them. but there's going to be one. And then...
Primetime Pints: The North and the West, that means they have. Four playoff teams between the two divisions? So no. That means either you'd be 3 -1 or 2 -2.
Primetime Pints: Rekha7 Seven make it now.
Dylan: Yeah ah I would.
Primetime Pints: Yeah, because only the one seed gets to buy.
Dylan: I would like to see...
Primetime Pints: So.
Dylan: I would like to see Miles Garrett get back whenever that is. And their defense. Step it up a bit. They're not playing bad defensively but they can definitely play a lot better. They're a lot better defensive team than they're showing right now.
Primetime Pints: Yeah.
Dylan: And then obviously having Pooka out. Hurts offensive. progression a little bit. Devonte Adams doesn't seem to age, so that also goes well for them.
Primetime Pints: i Mean puka came back and dominated
Dylan: I mean, yeah, he didn't even miss a beat. so
Primetime Pints: um So. yeah he's not Who doesn't? Puka's not been an injury prone player. He's not had much history of injury. I think he's going to be fine.
Dylan: Yeah.
Primetime Pints: so ah Yeah, I think Niners and Rams are good picks. i I'm with you. I don't think Seattle's going to keep it up. I... Their defense is still great. but I just don't think that they have the balance on offense to do it.
Dylan: I think they're missing Kenneth Walker.
Primetime Pints: Really. You think that they might be missing their Super Bowl MVP running back?

Primetime Pints: I bet they're really glad they kept Rashid Shahid, though.

Primetime Pints: No. It's the Cowboys. The Cowboys often. Did you see the stat about the offense? This week.

Primetime Pints: They have They have the least amount of offensive possessions in the NFL.
Dylan: Oh, they're the most efficient. One of the most efficient offenses in the NFL.
Primetime Pints: They have the most they are the best offense in the NFL
Dylan: Yep. I think they're 31 on yards per game
Primetime Pints: With the least amount of position.
Dylan: And they're the second highest points per game.
Primetime Pints: possessions. They are ranked 32. End. Possessions and First. endpoints.

Primetime Pints: All they need is a defense to just start to mesh. Just start to figure out how to play together. And. Get it?
Dylan: I'm telling you right now, it's going to be.

Dylan: But then Javante Williams, I think, comes back to Earth or this week. That is a tough run defense against the Buccaneers.
Primetime Pints: Oh. Javante Williams hasn't gotten off earth. He got three touchdowns last week, so it looked like he had a great game. He has not looked explosive. He hasn't had very many big plays.
Primetime Pints: I ate. Javante Williams has not impressed me this year.
Dylan: Yeah.

Dylan: He hasn't like it's mid.

Dylan: average i would say except for week two he was terrible he was absolutely terrible
Primetime Pints: Eakins? he can score He can score at the goal line. So there's value in that. But. This year he he looks a step slower. He doesn't look explosive. uh the The kid that they snuck off of the Falcons practice squad, Tyler Goodson.
Primetime Pints: He's gotten a few more carries the last two weeks. He looks... Good. I would not be surprised if that backfield starts to split a little more. And Javante is still going to get the red zone work and he's going to score the touchdowns. but Goodson looks...
Primetime Pints: way more explosive. So.
Dylan: See if Daniels comes back this week. Just gonna have the brace on.

Primetime Pints: For anybody who doesn't know, I actually have a vendetta. On the Cowboys. So for. I don't know, for the last 10 years, every Sunday. For football, I put on a Cowboys jersey.
Primetime Pints: And last year. after they fired McCarthy. I had. a list of like Two or three coaches that I said if they hire them I will not wear a jersey again until they were in a playoff game And one of those conditions was anybody in -house. And they hired Brian Schottheimer.
Primetime Pints: And so I have not worn a cowboy jersey all last season. And I haven't. this season either. And that's pain. It's killing me. But I I'm committed to it and I will not wear one until they win a playoff game. And the worst part about it is I actually love Brian. shautne
Dylan: Mmm.
Primetime Pints: So I made the deal. Or the statement because it was a deal with myself. Nobody even made me do it
Dylan: Probably just one of those late night drunk deals you just made.
Primetime Pints: Huh. before I knew much about him. Yeah. And. then of course everything he's done since then i like love the guy So. So I would really like them to win a playoff game this year.
Primetime Pints: because I have a closet full of jerseys from China that I like to wear.
Dylan: You have a lot of jerseys, yeah. They're just sitting in there.
Primetime Pints: Yeah. Mm hmm.

Primetime Pints: All right, so out of the current divisions. We only have I only had one. and NFC team that is currently leading make the playoffs, and that's the 49ers.
Primetime Pints: You had the 49ers and the Panthers.
Dylan: Hmm.
Primetime Pints: Other than that, we're both big teams.
Dylan: No, I had the Rams.
Primetime Pints: Oh, sorry, in the ramps.
Dylan: Yes, I only had the Panthers
Primetime Pints: no so you just had the panthers so both of us only picked one current leader out of the NFC.
Dylan: Yep.
Primetime Pints: So.
Dylan: Mm hmm.
Primetime Pints: Things are gonna have to switch up. AFC. We were pretty chalk.
Dylan: Two. Yep.
Primetime Pints: we' We're pretty chalk.
Dylan: It's fine.
Primetime Pints: So the only one the only one that we didn't pick was AFC North, and the Ravens are tied for the lead. so We'll see. We'll see how the rest of the season turns out. we will be
Dylan: Do you think the Browns finish 500? Give it to me. like
Primetime Pints: The Browns.
Dylan: four Three and one. Good start. Do they go 500?
Primetime Pints: Let me see one second Who do they play? I gotta see. They played the Ravens twice.
Dylan: We played Jets this week. Yep, play the Ravens.
Primetime Pints: Two losses.
Dylan: They got the Titans.
Primetime Pints: Bengals twice lost. So they'll be at the Titans. They'll beat the Jets.
Primetime Pints: Play a Steelers again. Thanks. It's going to be right around 500.
Dylan: Yeah, it's gonna be close.
Primetime Pints: They'll either be 8 -9 or 9 -8.
Dylan: Hmm.
Dylan: It's going to be really close.
Dylan: Alright, give me a hot take for tomorrow.

Primetime Pints: I've got George Pickens' breakout game.
Dylan: Ooh.

Dylan: Alright.
Primetime Pints: Breakout game after CeeDee Lamb goes for 19 catches. and 190 yards and a game -winning touchdown. They are going to bracket him.
Dylan: That's like video game stats, man.
Primetime Pints: It was. They're going to bracket CD. And George is going to run wild. Book it.
Dylan: I'd like to see it.
Primetime Pints: Book it.
Dylan: I would like to see George Pickens come back alive a little bit, repeat last year. but I mean, CD's been playing really good.
Primetime Pints: What's yours?
Dylan: Give me Javante under rushing.

Dylan: He's not he's not been producing like you said That Bucs defense. for run stopping has been phenomenal so far and i just don't think he's going to have the ability to get through so they're going to try to rely heavily on throwing the ball And I think, like you said, Goodson's going to get more touches. So.

Primetime Pints: Um... Mm -mm. Mmm. His line is somewhere between 74 and 80.
Dylan: Oh yeah, give me the under.
Primetime Pints: On DK.
Dylan: Give me the under all day. He doesn't touch 50.

Dylan: Yep, get me under.
