A Married Woman, A Sneaky Link & The Big Tigger Arrest image

A Married Woman, A Sneaky Link & The Big Tigger Arrest

E328 · Unsolicited Perspectives

A listener slides into the DMs with a situation that sounds simple until it isn't: she's married to a man in North Carolina, quietly dating a man in Illinois, and only one of the three people involved actually knows the whole truth. Bruce breaks down why "waiting for the right time" is usually just a more comfortable way to keep lying, and gets honest about his own divorce and what it taught him about running from pain instead of walking through it.

Then the conversation turns to Big Tigger, the video of him wrestling with his estranged wife over a phone, and the tangle of separate legal cases now surrounding both of them. Bruce lays out the full picture in plain English, makes the case for why you should never fight anybody for a phone, and gets serious about believing victims even when their history is complicated.

By the last segment, Bruce and his sister pull the curtain back on themselves, admitting that no amount of money fixes the habit of nickel and diming yourself straight back to broke. Three stories, one thread: the decisions we keep postponing don't disappear. They just collect interest.

with your enemies. on today's episode hidden messages a hidden relationship and the choices that create our own chaos but that's enough of the intro let's get to the show
00:01:06
Speaker
Before I get into this first segment, which is interesting to say the least, I just want to say my sister is on the episode, but not on the episode. So my sister is out of town. She's doing stuff for her real job.
00:01:22
Speaker
So she's at a conference. So she's unable to record, but we did record and really long or longer than normal After Hours episode. So I clipped some of that and we're placing it on the last segment. Now, am I going to go through the editing process and edit out a lot of the cuss words?
00:01:44
Speaker
Some of them. A few. But as always, when we drop a little sneak peek from my After Hours Uncensored, parental discretion is advised because we're going to be cussing.

And the second story is about a well-known... The second segment is about a well-known celebrity that...
00:02:25
Speaker

Advice on Relationship Honesty

00:04:03
Speaker
page. All right. Like I said, I got an email or a DM. It started as a DM.
00:04:10
Speaker
It started as a DM in my Instagram or in the in the podcast Instagram. of how much they loved the show.
00:04:22
Speaker
And it was, i guess me and my sister were talking about relationships. I don't remember how exactly this person decided to to send this to me, send it to us.
00:04:36
Speaker
But this young lady, i say young, she's little bit younger than than me, is in a love triangle. And as I started asking questions in the DM, she was giving me more and more of the story. And i was just like, yo, this is crazy. And they were, she was essentially asking for R. I haven't given it to my sister's sister yet, because I know what my sister will say.
00:05:02
Speaker
I know what my sister will say. She just wanted our opinion of her situation and wanted some advice. Now, I don't know why people come to me for relationship advice because i haven't really had any successful relationships. Have I been married once? Yes.
00:05:20
Speaker
I'm also divorced. So I don't know if that's successful or not. Like I got to the point where I got married. I've had several girlfriends that have lasted for, you know, give or take, you know, few years and all that type of stuff. What I will say is that in in in relationships, if if you can remove your emotions, which is extremely hard to do, I personally can't do it, right? If you can remove your emotions, your common sense will tell you exactly what you need to be doing.
00:05:55
Speaker
Because odds are your body, your body is always letting you know this is a high stress area, situation I probably need to exit. But it's something about that emotion, suddenly something about that attachment, something about that inability to let go that keeps us in bad situations even when we know that they are bad situations.
00:06:15
Speaker
all right. So I'm going to tell this young lady's story from what I can't remember because the the the DMs were all kind of jumbled. I tried to kind of put them together and was going to read them like back to back to back, but I was just like... No, this is ridiculous. I'm just going to tell the story. So this young lady is in her mid-30s, and she's married to her older gentleman. She lives in Illinois.
00:06:45
Speaker
um She's married to an older gentleman that's about 25 years to 30 years older than her. Okay, so he's in his like he's in his mid to late 60s.
00:06:56
Speaker
And they've been having some problems. They've been having some issues. because they've been married for a while. He snatched her up relatively young. i think she said that she got married in her late 20s when he was in his ah mid to late 50s.
00:07:14
Speaker
So they're having issues, and she moved to Illinois while he still lives in North Carolina. This is key. This is very, very key. He still lives in North Carolina. They're they're separated, kind of, but still working on things.
00:07:31
Speaker
In the building that she lives in, she met another man, another older man. He's slightly younger, but still another older man. And at first it was just a matter of exchanging pleasantries, you know, hello, how you doing? And eventually that turned into conversations and, hey, you want to grab a cup of coffee? And next thing know, glass of wine. And the next thing you know,
00:07:59
Speaker
She's kind of low-key kind of dating this dude. It's a situationship. Now, I'm not going to get too explicit, but what she's informed me through the DM is that she has not had relations.
00:08:13
Speaker
but That's my word, not hers. Relations with this new older man in Illinois because she's not divorced. Hasn't started the divorce proceedings yet.
00:08:26
Speaker
Hasn't really brought up divorce. And I asked this young lady because she is younger than me. how long have you been dating this new guy in Illinois? And she says, it's been coming up on a year. And I said, y'all not really dating if y'all haven't had relations. Well, she's like, no, we make out and we kind of do other stuff, but never, we haven't really done it.
00:08:52
Speaker
And I was like, and he's, Does he understand the situation? Does Mr. Illinois, we're going to, Mr. Illinois is that, is that sneaky link, right? That's what going name him, Mr. Illinois. And Mr. North Carolina's is the married man.
00:09:07
Speaker
I said, did Mr. Illinois know about Mr. North Carolina? She said, yes, he does. I've been open and honest about that. i said, does he, does Mr. Illinois ask when you're getting divorced with Mr. North Carolina? She yes she says, yes. I said, what do you tell Mr. Illinois when he asks you if you're getting divorced from Mr. North Carolina? She said, oh, I told him, you know, it's complicated.
00:09:30
Speaker
And I said, okay, well, why is it complicated? Well, because, you know, I love them, but I know we're not supposed to be together. I said, you're in your late 30s. Feel like you should have this figured out by now. And what I mean by that is i told her, you sound like you're in a college-like situation with two men.
00:09:57
Speaker
that should be retired right now. This is sounding very juvenile, what you're in. i said, what is Mr. Illinois' response to all this stuff?
00:10:11
Speaker
She says, he's cool with it. And I said, does Mr. North Carolina know about Mr. Illinois? She says, he does not. And I said, okay. What's holding you back? I love him, you know, but it's hard. And, you know, he's older. And I said, okay, I mean, everybody that's been married and has to get a divorce, all we all have to go through those type of situations. There's something more to the to the issue. She was like, well, he kind of depends on me to take care of him. That was kind of properly that was kind of the issue with with the marriage and kind of how I want to get, for the reason why I want to get out of this is because
00:10:49
Speaker
He's i'm more of a caregiver than an actual wife. I said, oh, OK, all right. I can understand that situation. i said, well, you haven't had relations with Mr. Illinois. Do you still have relations with Mr. North Carolina? Yeah, when I see him, every now and then I go back to North Carolina to to see see my animals and pets and things of that nature. And then sometimes he'll come out to Illinois. i said, what now?
00:11:15
Speaker
He comes out to Illinois. What does Mr. Illinois do when Mr. North Carolina comes out to to Illinois? Well, we we obviously we can't see each other. i was like well, obviously, because you got a sneaky link. I said, of course, you can't see your sneaky link when your husband is in town. This is crazy. I said, does Mr. Illinois know that every now and then when you and Mr. North Carolina get together, you all have relations? And she said, yeah, I've been honest and told him.
00:11:43
Speaker
And I said, and he's cool with that. She said, yeah, he's he's cool with that. He just really likes spending time with me. I said, okay. and then And then she asked me, what should she do?
00:11:56
Speaker
And I said, I'm not ah i'm not a therapist. You know, I can't give you the answers because I have an idea of what you should do, but I can't give you the answers.
00:12:06
Speaker
This is what I will say. I said, you're being dishonest to both of them. You're being dishonest because even though you're telling Mr. Illinois that, you know, you're a little bit hesitant to get a divorce, you're saying saying it As if the only reason why y'all are still together is because you he needs your he needs you to care for him.
00:12:29
Speaker
But he's in North Carolina right now. You're in Illinois. So it's not like you're there to care for him. So that argument gets thrown out the window. And if Mr. Illinois has any type of brain on him whatsoever, he can see through the BS of that explanation. That explanation also doesn't make sense when you still have relations with Mr. North Carolina. That means there's still some feelings there. If I was Mr. Illinois, I would definitely feel some type of way about that. So you're not being honest to Mr. Illinois because you're saying your marriage is one thing when it's really not quite that. Like you're not looking to get out of it. You're not solely his caregiver.
00:13:16
Speaker
and you're still having relations with this person. I could tell you my own personal experience. When you are in the process of separating, even before the words divorce starts to come up, most people, the first telltale sign is you start slowing or completely stop on relations.
00:13:39
Speaker
That's a telltale sign. when you don't even want to do that anymore, the ah basic human instinct, urge, an urge, a basic human urge. When you stop having that urge with the person that you said before people, God, what have you, I do till death do us part.
00:14:02
Speaker
That is the sign that you are no longer in it. or you It might be temporary. It could be temporary. But if things are already going downhill and you stop that, it's only going to get worse.
00:14:17
Speaker
But if you're saying to me things are going downhill, but you're still doing that, tells me that you're not really ready to give everything up, that there's still some part of you that's in it. And Mr. Ellen Noyes should know that, should see that.
00:14:32
Speaker
Me personally, ladies and gentlemen, I know this is not the right thing to say. I know this is toxic masculinity coming out of me. Very rarely does it come out of me, but I feel like it needs to be said. Mr. Illinois is a sucker because it couldn't be me, wouldn't be me, shouldn't be me, shan't be me to be played where I'm with a woman for almost a year.
00:14:58
Speaker
we I'm the sneaky leak with no sneaking. Let me repeat that again for the people in the back that didn't hear me. I'm the sneaky leak with no sneaky.
00:15:12
Speaker
The sneaky being, you know, relations, in case you didn't pick up on that. In case I wasn't being as blunt, you know. Sometimes you just got to say that. But she's still doing it for Mr. North Carolina. Also, for Mr. North Carolina, you could tell when you can tell when your partner's not o not quite there with you anymore.
00:15:35
Speaker
There's certain things, man. Like you you text a call. I don't know. He's late 60s. Does he text a call? I mean, my parents do, but my parents are kind of young. Some people, you know, maybe they don't text a call. There's got to be times where he know you ain't got no job job.
00:15:50
Speaker
You know, she's got like a part-time gig. She's not a... From what she told me that she does it, and once again, i don't want to give up too much information because her husband could be listening to this. Mr. Illinois could be listening to this. She's a fan. She says she listens to every show since I think she said 160th or something like that is when she started. She found us on YouTube and started following us. And I was like, you know, thank you for being a fan. But...
00:16:21
Speaker
Mr. Illinois is a sucker and Mr. North Carolina, he's going to pick up on something eventually. And I said to her, you're being dishonest. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, this was all through ah DM. It was a lot of voice notes. It was a lot of voice notes. But I was like, you're you're being dishonest to them and yourself about the situation. So I said, I'm not a therapist.
00:16:45
Speaker
I'm not a therapist. I can't tell you what the right answer is. I could tell you what the best answer or the answer that makes the most sense to me is." And she said, okay, what is it?
00:16:59
Speaker
I was like, you need to step away from Mr. Illinois and figure out what you're doing with Mr. North Carolina. That has to be resolved, not immediately, but it has to be resolved before you can do anything further with Mr. Illinois. Because she says she really likes Mr. Illinois. ain And he obviously must really like her to play the sucker role that he's doing. But I said, you got to figure out things with your husband first.
00:17:27
Speaker
That one thing can't begin until another thing ends. So figure that out. Whether it needs to continue on, whether y'all need to work on your relationship or it needs to end, figure that out.
00:17:40
Speaker
And if you decide that the divorce is the right way to go, get divorced. Take some time for yourself. Then maybe revisit Mr. Illinois.
00:17:55
Speaker
And like I said, Mr. Illinois is a sucker because not only is he playing the sneaky leak with no sneaky. But if you think that you are outlier, that you are the exception to the rule, you got another thing coming. If you think that she would divorce her husband, get with you and never cheat on you because that's what she's doing.
00:18:24
Speaker
That's what she's doing. She's cheating. if you think that she would get with you and never cheat on you when your whole relationship was established with her cheating, you a fool.
00:18:40
Speaker
You're not only a sucker, you a fool. You a fool sucker or a sucker fool, whatever, however you want to take it, that's what you are. And I hate i hate to be so blunt. I really do.
00:18:52
Speaker
I hate to be so blunt and and forward with my explanation and and the vigor of this response that that some would take as venomous to all parties except for Mr. North Carolina.
00:19:08
Speaker
But don't you don't need no woman to be your caretaker. But that's, I'm only hearing it from her perspective. Not from now the other two men. But Yeah.
00:19:20
Speaker
Like, and this, I decided, i asked her for her permission

Relationship Dynamics and Common Mistakes

00:19:25
Speaker
to talk about this. She gave me the okay. And I decided that I was going to talk about this for a very simple reason, because there's going to be people out there, not a person, trust me, it's not a person. There's going to be several people out there that are in a situation like this. This is a common situation where you're involved with somebody. Things are a little rocking, you run to somebody else.
00:19:47
Speaker
And now all that is is avoiding the problem. I remember getting divorced and ah moved away to a different part of town and then moved back to the part of town that me and my ex-wife used to live in.
00:20:08
Speaker
The first place, the first area that we lived in, the first community that we lived in once we got engaged. It was a big deal when we moved into this community. We had came up. You know what then came up.
00:20:19
Speaker
We got animals together. we were were like, this is where we're going to start the family, the whole nine, right? So it was a lot of memories and life wrapped up into this community. So we split.
00:20:33
Speaker
I move away, basically to across town. I decided within a year of moving away, divorce proceedings hadn't even begun yet, but we had agreed to get divorced. Or I said I wanted a divorce.
00:20:48
Speaker
Either way you want to put it, we agreed. I decided to move back to that community. And my goddaughter came and stayed with me. I'm 32?
00:20:59
Speaker
thirty two i'm thirty two my goddaughter is somewhere around thirteen or fourteen
00:20:59
Speaker
32. I'm 32. My goddaughter is somewhere around 13 or 14. And she's coming to stay with me for like spring break or something like that. And she was like, hey, because she used to come and visit when me and my ex-wife lived in that community. she asked me, she was like, hey, why would you decide to move back to the community that you and your ex used to live in won't Won't that be, she didn't use the this term, but this is what she was implying. Won't that be triggering for you to move back to the same place that you and her, like, were eventually starting the process of what was going to be the next form me of your life? And I said, yeah, without thinking. It wasn't any of this profound thing that that I had thought about.
00:21:47
Speaker
or or, you know, like trying to teach her a life lesson. i often say things without thinking, just say things, and this one just happened to be a little drop of knowledge. And it's not this isn't an original thought.
00:22:02
Speaker
Somewhere, i got it from somewhere, but it was what I said in the moment. And that's like, sometimes you got to put yourself in the fire to see who you are on the other end. Sometimes you got to burn and heal to see who you are on the other end.
00:22:16
Speaker
And so, yeah, I put myself in that position to to not run away from my problems, not run away from the hurt, but be immersed in it, to feel it, to not duck it, to not hide from it. You can't.
00:22:34
Speaker
It's going come up somehow, some way. Right? And I healed. I think that process helped me heal quicker. to be there and experience. And there was some times where was sad. where I would walk the dog and we'd walk, I'd walk to like the old building that we lived in.
00:22:54
Speaker
Right. and And he would go running up to thinking that we was going up to the old place. Cause we it hadn't been that long since I moved back and moved back in. And then there was a couple of times I called my sister and she was like, why do you do that to yourself? And I was like, cause I got to feel, I got to feel all of it.
00:23:12
Speaker
I've got to mourn the loss of of what we had. It wasn't all bad. the The ending part makes you think that that's all it was when you get out of it.
00:23:27
Speaker
Because that's the lasting impression that you have, the bad. and And make no mistake about it, like it wasn't even, I've heard divorce divorce stories and I'm not trauma comparison, but I've heard divorce stories. Ours was really, really tame compared to what I hear about other people.
00:23:47
Speaker
But yeah, you got it you got to feel that. You've got to embrace all of it. You've got to see the the pain and the joy of what you experienced.
00:23:59
Speaker
And that's essentially what I told this young lady, that she's running away from dealing with whatever the issue is in her marriage. And the only thing that she's going to do if she continues on to this process, and she's listening and watching right now, the only thing that you're going to do if you continue on with this process is hurt everybody. You are absolutely the villain at this current rate in the story.
00:24:30
Speaker
You're not the hero. You're not the damsel in distress. You're the villain because of your actions. Maybe you didn't start out as the villain, but the current place in the story, you're absolutely the villain.
00:24:44
Speaker
And you're the villain because you're scared to confront whatever it is that's going on in your marriage. So, When I told her this, I said, yeah, this would be a good idea. This would be a good point, a good topic for the show.
00:25:02
Speaker
Because not everybody can have the strength and the courage to put themselves in the fire. And you don't necessarily have to put yourself in the fire like i did. That might be an extreme. But what you can't do is run away from your problems.
00:25:16
Speaker
Your problems are going to follow you. You can't run away from them. And the more that you try to run away from them, the worse they're actually going to get.
00:25:34
Speaker
Speaking of relationships,
00:25:38
Speaker
There was a celebrity in this and this and the news that is having an issue with his ah current wife. They're in divorce proceedings. But ah a video popped up. I'm to get to the video in a second. I'm to get to the video. But Big Tigger, Big Tigger.
00:25:55
Speaker
Used to be the host of Rap City. from the From the DMV area, used to host a radio show. Got into it and a video came out. It's an older video. A video came out with him tussling on the ground with his current wife, but they're in divorce proceedings as she has his phone.
00:26:16
Speaker
I'm going to get into the whole story of all that. But the first thing that I want to get into is fellas. I got some advice for you.
00:26:28
Speaker
And I'm just going to put it clean. If you got dirt on your phone and your woman got your phone, she got you. She wouldn't be going through your phone if she didn't have an idea that you was doing something foul.
00:26:44
Speaker
Now, sometimes they can be wrong. Sometimes people going through your phones can think that something is going on and be wrong about it.
00:26:54
Speaker
You know how I know?

Big Tigger's Legal Troubles

00:26:56
Speaker
Because the first and last time I went through a phone. I don't know if I ever told you guys a story. This is real embarrassing, so I probably haven't. But you know what? We're being vulnerable today, and I'm going to tell this story. So I had a girlfriend, and we were doing a long-distance thing.
00:27:15
Speaker
And she had come in to visit me, and me... At that time, I was young man, young man, young man, young man, long time ago. Long, long, long, long, long long long time ago. I was young man. Me being the insecure person that I was swore up and down she had to be cheating on me.
00:27:33
Speaker
Did I have any proof or any inculence? No, I was an insecure man. And it was a long distance relationship. And and I was an insecure man. that was so adamant that a woman was going to cheat on me, like I had some type of control over that, right?
00:27:51
Speaker
And so she she was coming to visit me with her friend. And she actually, we're we're still cool to this day. And she actually pays attention the podcast. So yes, I'm telling this story, okay? She came to visit me with a friend.
00:28:04
Speaker
So they're staying at my place. And I just am fixated on the fact that I know that she is cheating. I know she is. So we all go to sleep. It's about 3 o'clock in the morning. I wake up. I go through her phone. sneak I grab her phone, sneak off, go into the bathroom.
00:28:18
Speaker
And I'm going through her phone. And mind you, this is ah really before smartphones. it It really is. This is like 05, 0405. five oh four oh five Yeah, 04, 05. Like, this is really before smartphones. Like, they're kind of Like, we're we're texting.
00:28:38
Speaker
We're texting. But we're not... We're definitely not doing video chats. And like I don't know if Skype was even a thing yet. And and Instagram wasn't a thing. Facebook was. But Facebook wasn't popping like that. It was still... MySpace was still the thing. Like, like honestly... It wasn't a smartphone, but I go through a phone and and the phones do have cameras.
00:29:00
Speaker
So I go through, couldn't find anything in the text message, which should have been, you know, hey, look, you didn't find nothing to the text message, but you could delete text messages. Let me go through these photos.
00:29:11
Speaker
So I go through the photos and there is a photo of a young lady. Can't see her face. ah That's pretending or is giving Santa Claus fellatio.
00:29:31
Speaker
this is how This is how stupid I am. Three o'clock in the morning. I'm going through these photos. I swear up and down it's her. Swear up and down it's her. Gotta be her.
00:29:44
Speaker
Why are these photos in her phone? I never seen those photos. If it's a funny gag, I didn't get them. So it's got to be her. She is giving Santa Claus fellatio.
00:29:55
Speaker
In my mind, three o'clock in the morning at 24, 25 years old, that's that's in my mind what I'm thinking. So I wake her ass up. What the hell is this?
00:30:06
Speaker
She wiping the coal out of her eye. What you talking about, Bruce? Why you giving Santa Claus fellatio? What? I said, you heard what I said. Why are you giving Santa Claus fellatio?
00:30:23
Speaker
Bruce, that's not me. No, that looks like you. You can't even see her face. That's the point. You're giving Santa Claus fellatio and you hide your face.
00:30:35
Speaker
But I see the picture. She was like, okay, well, this woman kind of has her back open. Do you see my tattoo? And so I look, I don't see no tattoo.
00:30:49
Speaker
That should have been the first thing that I looked for because her back was kind of open in the picture. I ain't see no tattoo. And I was like, there is Photoshop. You could have just erased it. You gave Santa Claus fellatio. I mean, you smart enough to hide your face. You smart enough to use Photoshop.
00:31:07
Speaker
And she showed me where she got the original pictures. It was sent to her by the young lady that came with her. And it was in their little text thread. They were laughing back and forth about it.
00:31:21
Speaker
So i said, oh. Ha, ah ha, ha. So ah you wasn't giving Santa Claus fellatio? No, Bruce. I wasn't. Oh, OK.
00:31:33
Speaker
I think I'm going to sleep in the living room. ah Oh, whatever you feel is comfortable, you you can go ahead and do that. Yeah. Yeah. I took to the airport the next day, shortly thereafter, we broke up. And i don't blame her because I was acting like a crazy person.
00:31:54
Speaker
The point of all the point of that story that I'm trying to say is that if a person goes through your phone, they ain't all the way there right there in that particular moment. They're not all in the way there.
00:32:06
Speaker
So there's no reason to get try to physically take your phone away for a man or a woman. Either or.
00:32:19
Speaker
from a person when they have your phone. If it's your significant other, not like if it's getting stolen or anything, cause a lot of people out there don't have nuance. I'm talking about like you're in a relationship and the person that you're in a relationship takes your phone.
00:32:30
Speaker
There's no reason to fight for it. Let them have it. Because if you got incriminating evidence on there, your ass just got caught. It was only going to be a matter of time because they're suspecting you of something already.
00:32:45
Speaker
And if you don't have anything incriminating, why are you fighting with them in the first place? So this viral video went out of Big Tigger, whose real name is Darren Morgan. He's 53 years old.
00:32:58
Speaker
Used to be on 106th Park, like said, Rhapsody, the 103 morning show since 2020. And used to be on a radio show in D.C. before that.
00:33:10
Speaker
I've known Big Tigger has been a part of my life since as far back as I can remember. Right? He is entrenched in hip-hop culture. He even came out with a song, if I remember correctly, he did. I think he came out with a song with Angie Martinez. Anyway, the video came out with he and his wife tussling around.
00:33:29
Speaker
A lot of people made jokes about it because you could kind of see that there's there's two different ways to look at this video. Let me give you guys the legal full picture and plain English about everything that's going on. This started with one incident, but is now split into several separate legal cases involving both Big Tigger and his estranged wife, Alicia Brown. First, there's the criminal case against Big Tigger. According to the police affidavit, the May 9th incident allegedly began when Brown confronted him about text messages from a female co-worker. The affidavit says the argument began...
00:34:08
Speaker
became physical, and Brown suffered a deep cut above her eye that required stitches. On June 20th, Big Tigger was arrested and charged with aggravated battery and third-degree cruelty to children. The child cruelty charge is connected to their 13-year-old son, who was reportedly inside the room home and heard the incident.
00:34:27
Speaker
Big Tigger posted a $10,000 bond and has denied the allegations. That case is still pending. Nothing has been proven, and there has been no conviction. There's a separate, separate from the criminal case is Brown's protective order.
00:34:41
Speaker
On June 24th, a Fulton County judge granted her temporary protective order. Under that order, Big Tigger must stay 200 yards away and have no contact with Brown or the children. Brown was also granted temporary custody and exclusive use of the home, and he was ordered to surrender access to the ring cam and the gate.
00:35:00
Speaker
That is the civil case, even though it comes from the same alleged incident. A hearing was scheduled for July thirteenth to to determine whether the order would remain in place, charged, or be lifted.
00:35:13
Speaker
Then there is the defamation lawsuit, which is where people often get confused. After Brown publicly accused Big Tigger of having an affair with his V-103 co-host, Francesca Amaker, Amaker denied the allegation and filed a federal defamation lawsuit against Brown. This is not Big Tigger suing his wife.
00:35:34
Speaker
is Felicia of Francisca suing Alicia Brown. Amaker says Brown's social media posts falsely portrayed her as a homewrecker and damaged her professionally. She is seeking more than $75,000 along with punitive damages and a jury trial trial. Big Tigger is not a party in that lawsuit. Then there is Brown's Alicia Brown's own criminal case, which is completely separate from everything else. On July 6, Brown was arrested during a felony traffic stop in Hartford County, Georgia, based on an outstanding Maryland warrant for infinite ah interference with child custody. That warrant is connected to a 2019 disappearance of her daughter,
00:36:16
Speaker
think that's Aaliyah. Aaliyah is a different child from a previous relationship, and her father reportedly had her for full custosy custody. She's still missing. That's from 2019. The two children who were in Brown's vehicle during the July 6th stop, including including the son she serves with Big Tigger, were found safe. Neither child was was the missing daughter. that's still missing from 2019. Brown is expected to be extradited to Maryland to face those charge charges. Those were also separate, and there's also a separate interference with custody warrants in Fulton County, Georgia, but those were dismissed. The Maryland case is the one that remains active. So the easiest way to understand all of this,
00:37:02
Speaker
Big Tigger is a defendant in the a aggravated battery and child cruelty case. Brown is the person who requested the protective order. Brown is also the defendant in the federal defamation lawsuit filed for Francisca Amaker.

Secrets and Conflict in Relationships

00:37:16
Speaker
And Brown is the defendant in the Maryland custody case involving her missing daughter. Once again, her daughter's been missing since 2019. The two biggest details to keep a straight eye are the 13-year-old son and the missing daughter are two different children. And the defamation lawsuit ah belongs to Francesca Amaker, not Big Tigger. So you can see that this is all one big messy legal battle that's bigger than just the cell phone video that we got.
00:37:49
Speaker
And there's a lot of moving parts and a lot of people that are involved with this. But that's just the legal synopsis.
00:38:01
Speaker
He got arrested, right? He got arrested and um because because she accused him of being a psycho and and things of that nature. And so he he was arrested for this. And this is the reason why I say there's no real reason for you to tussle around with him with a woman or a man for your cell phone, because odds are you're going to go to jail.
00:38:26
Speaker
I don't... In it, in the video, I'm always... a believer of the victim when it comes to domestic violence issues. And he, she has accused him and he has been arrested.
00:38:42
Speaker
And it's an accusation. There hasn't been any conviction of domestic violence towards her. But in this particular video, as I saw it, She was in initiating everything. He was trying to get her phone back. She fell out all on the floor.
00:38:57
Speaker
And the reason why I think that this was bait, right, that she kind of set this up is because she had somebody else as her friend recording A lot of people made jokes about it. And it is funny that they tussling around on the ground, him trying to get his phone back. Almost, it's serious, but it's almost like two siblings fighting for a toy on the ground, even though they're not siblings. This is a serious issue.
00:39:26
Speaker
But she's got some other legal stuff going on She's ah got a ah missing daughter for like seven years.
00:39:38
Speaker
that they still haven't found the daughter. You know, her ex-husband had gotten full custody of their kids together. Not Big Tigger, but her ex-husband, he got full custody of their kids, which, let me explain something to you, ladies and gentlemen.
00:39:57
Speaker
It rarely happens that the man gets full full custody, not joint custody, full custody of your kids. It's really got to be some ish going on with the mother. Now, this isn't to victim blame.
00:40:10
Speaker
This is just to give you kind of like a whole picture. That there's a lot of stuff going on here in this particular situation. And she still has a daughter that's just missing and has been missing for seven years. She's got to come back to the DMV to face warms.
00:40:32
Speaker
But
00:40:35
Speaker
She's going through the phone or wants to find the phone because allegedly Big Tigger is having an affair with his co-host on the show. And there is a pending lawsuit for defamation. So you ain't going to hear no names out of me. If you want to get the names, go ahead and Google it. Ain't nobody going sue me for defamation. I'm not saying it that they had an affair. I'm saying that's what his wife is saying.
00:41:03
Speaker
is that she had an affair and thought that there were some messages on the phone. And then once again, I got to go back to, don't be tussling with nobody to get your phone back. Just let it go. If you got caught, you got caught. It is what it is. You can't run from it.
00:41:20
Speaker
But I want to get serious about domestic domestic violence because he is accused of, once again, accusation, he is accused of some very, very serious things.
00:41:34
Speaker
And i don't want, i make jokes about, you know, get a phone up. I make jokes about going through my ex-girlfriend's phone. There are no jokes about domestic violence.
00:41:47
Speaker
The majority of domestic violence victims don't go reported, just like victims of sexual assault. And the laws are getting better, especially in the state of Virginia for domestic violence of victims.
00:42:04
Speaker
But a lot of times it's continuous domestic violence for the victim and the abuser gets off over and over and over again.
00:42:15
Speaker
I know the general consensus is because most men, generally speaking, hate women. They like to have sex with them. but they don't like women because women represent femininity, which we have been told since we were little kids to always fight against because a man is supposed to be masculine.
00:42:36
Speaker
Stupid patriarchy, toxic masculinity. We've gone over it so many times on the show. I'm not going dig into that anymore on this particular show, but what I am going to focus on, on the fact that I don't care what this woman's background is.
00:42:55
Speaker
It's alarming that her daughter is somewhere missing. It's alarming that it looks like this video was a setup.
00:43:06
Speaker
It's alarming that when her and her ex-husband were fighting for custody, he got full custody. That's all alarming. Two things can be true.
00:43:21
Speaker
She could be a domestic violence victim and also has some ish with her. Both things can happen. And I see a lot of discourse on the internet to immediately dismiss her because of her history.
00:43:37
Speaker
And let me give you a little, little update on some things that happen to people that have a shaky background.
00:43:51
Speaker
They become victimized easier because most of the time people won't believe them because of their shaky background. Now, I'm not saying Big Tigger dig it did it.
00:44:06
Speaker
I'm not saying he didn't do it. I don't know. I wasn't there. All I'm saying is sometimes you got to let people just have your phone.
00:44:20
Speaker
And let the chips fall where they may. Too many people out here trying to win, trying to win the argument, trying to win the fight. When you win, you lose. This man could lose his job, his kids, if he didn't commit domestic violence, right? He could still lose all those things because the perception from that video ain't good for him.
00:44:49
Speaker
And why?
00:44:52
Speaker
Why? Because if you don't have anything to hide, fighting and tussling with her on the ground doesn't make sense.
00:45:03
Speaker
It makes more sense if you got something to hide, because why the hell do you want to get the phone back that badly? Maybe you worry that she's going to cash out herself some money. I mean, and that could be a worry. I mean, that that's that's legitimate.
00:45:17
Speaker
I don't think that was it, though. I think it was possibly. I don't know. Allegedly. Allegedly, it might be interfering. It could not be with the co-worker. It could be with another woman. He's a big tigger in Atlanta.
00:45:31
Speaker
He's well-known. Everybody knows him. We know his face. he know He's looked the same for the last 30 years. He ain't changed nothing. He looked the same. Just a little bit older, little bit chunkier, but that's that's about it. He looked the same. We know who he is.
00:45:45
Speaker
So...
00:45:49
Speaker
The point is this, not all victims are squeaky clean.
00:45:57
Speaker
Not all people that fight for their phone are automatically guilty.
00:46:04
Speaker
But this overwhelming need to win can cost you so much in the end. You don't win, you lose.
00:46:17
Speaker
Pick your battles better.

Money Management and Relatability

00:46:26
Speaker
All right, ladies and gentlemen, here's a little sneak peek from me and my sister's latest After Hours Uncensored. Once again, parental discretion is advised, but here we go.
00:46:39
Speaker
At the end of the day, I'm not going to mess up my money. but I'm just not. Well, yeah we will mess up our money, but we will mess it up. I mess it up. i' i Myself. so Like I was screwed. I it. realized today if I won a lottery, I'd be one of those people that, and the ah and if the lottery was reasonable, if it was unreasonable, like I won like the billion dollars and you actually, after taxes and everything, you get four or 500 million, I'm probably going to blow through that. yeah
00:47:15
Speaker
But anything under 10 million? Yeah, I feel like i could I could blow through that real fast. I would always choose the, I wouldn't choose the um the lump sum payout.
00:47:30
Speaker
I would choose to have, that way I can't because every year i got a check coming to me. Yeah, but I don't trust the annuity payments. If something happens with the state, you don't get your money.
00:47:43
Speaker
I don't trust that. think it's insured. I don't trust it. Give me all my money and then I just hire somebody to put me on an allowance. Yeah, I will you put it in a trust and then I just get or put it in like invest it and I just live off dividends. Yeah. Yeah. um i will I need some. i Look, because I know it won't be nothing big, but I will nickel and dime myself to being broke.
00:48:06
Speaker
Let me tell you how quickly I could nickel and dime my way through a million dollars. quick with nothing to show for. Zero. Zero things to show for it. But I will nickel and I will $20 here, $50, $200 there, and next thing you know, Johnna, where your million dollars go?
00:48:26
Speaker
don't know.
00:48:29
Speaker
I had it, and now I don't. I don't where it went. Yeah, that's me too. And ain't got nothing to show for it but some Uber Eats receipts. Ha ha ha ha but And then that goddamn Uber Eats. When you got some money, that Uber Eats, you Uber Eats something, and you'll be like, you know what? Today I want prime rib.
00:48:50
Speaker
Yeah. For no no reason. And then you get it, and you're like, this isn't even as good as I was hoping it would be. Because it's never as good as if you just go to the restaurant. And spent $78.
00:49:02
Speaker
but It cost me $78. $78. I have been nickel and diamond. I knew when I was a little boy that I was going to be nickel and diamond myself and being broke. It don't matter how much money I have, I can be like, I'm straight. It'll be like two weeks later, what did I do?
00:49:24
Speaker
yeah What did I do? What did I do? Because I needed to hold on to some of And the thing is, is I will put it in an account. I will put it in an account that will make it difficult to get to it.
00:49:37
Speaker
Yeah, but I will still find a way. there's a well There's a way. when there's a will There's a way. If you give me an inch, I'm going to a mile.
00:49:47
Speaker
If I shenan once, I'm going to shenan again. yeah I'll just take a little money. out I'll put right back. I'll put it back. What to go put it back with? Look, I i do put it back and then take that bitch right the fuck back out. I put it in on Monday. but I put it back on Monday. By Wednesday, I'm like, fine let me just get a little bit more to just take care. And the next thing you know, i flat ass broke. Yep. Oh, I can't stand this shit, man. i but I would be like, well, I could just make some more money. And I could.
00:50:20
Speaker
But why? Because I would just be in the same boat. Here's the thing. Doesn't matter. I make more money. Does not matter. Everything goes up commiserate with that. So you're still in the same place. I still be broke. It doesn't matter. You're like, oh, this is make more money. No, you think that, but no, everything becomes more expensive. i don't understand that. i dont let it i've I've lived broke. I've lived where I don't have no money for two weeks.
00:50:55
Speaker
Yeah. No money for two weeks. And I've survived. Yes, I have lived and I shop at the dollar store for my groceries. Like, that is how broke I've been. And i tell, i there's no excuse except for the mismanagement of funds that is 100% my fault. The mismanagement of funds, boy. It's 100% my fault. You know what, though?
00:51:24
Speaker
All three of us have it. Yeah. All three of us have a complete mismanagement. We'd be like, yeah we got money. we just don't understand where the hell it went. And and we talked to our parents. We're like, everything is just more expensive now. And I'm like, it is. But also, I'm the problem.
00:51:42
Speaker
I didn't need to. have i I already have a little hand fan, a little portable fan. Why did I buy another one just because a friend had one? i was like, this one's real good. Where you get this? Amazon. And I went and bought Why? I have one already.
00:51:59
Speaker
And it's good. Hers was better. You know, when you got money and you ain't worried about nothing at that moment right is when you don't write a list to the grocery store. You just go. And then you unload your groceries and be like, oh, already had that.
00:52:17
Speaker
yeah You already know exactly what you got when you got money. When you don't have money, you know everything that you got and what you don't have. but when You know how many bottles of honey mustard is in my damn refrigerator?
00:52:32
Speaker
At least four. Why do I keep buying wine mustard? I got some already. This don't make no sense.
00:52:44
Speaker
I already got eggs. Now I got to eat all these eggs before in I to eat all these damn eggs. I do have to ah two dozen eggs in the first. Why? Why do I have two things of eggs in there?
00:52:58
Speaker
Well, I eat six eggs in a sitting, so that makes sense. Yes. I eat one. don't make no damn sense. It don't make sense. I looked in there was like, why is there two things of eggs in here? nobody else eat these eggs but me. Why is there all these eggs in here? Why did I bother? Why did I do this?
00:53:23
Speaker
God, just so bad with money. Just so bad. Yeah. You go out drinking. You got money. You like, oh I got this round. Don't even worry about it. You start paying for other last night. I did it last night. And I spent so much money.
00:53:41
Speaker
I went out for a good, good friend's birthday and said, first rounds on me, why? i don't know, celebrating birthday. And um I got four lemon drops.
00:53:57
Speaker
Four lemon drops. $78. No, see, that's the problem with Atlanta. That's Atlanta. But that place that you went to, kind of want to go one time. It was so much fun. It was so much fun. There's also like, there's a second level and then there's a basement level and the basement level is like them old school basement parties.
00:54:20
Speaker
Like it was, like ah I had a really good time and now I know how to navigate it. It's called Rum Punch Brunch, and they sell bottles of rum punch that are very strong. yeah That's what you do. Do not buy a drink because their drinks are stupid expensive. I'll buy a stupid expensive drink over having a hangover the next day.
00:54:43
Speaker
I didn't have one. Well, okay. I don't have one. I do do that. You're right. I do do that. yeah yeah I don't know where that came from. I don't. And it's condescending, too. It's condescending. It is. Because have called me out on that. There's a couple of people that have been like, oh, there he goes again. I'm like, what the fuck? So when you brought it I was like, oh, I do do that. I thought they were just talking some bullshit. No. I was like, oh I do that. when It's essentially you saying, well, that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard in my life, and you're a dumbass hoe.
00:55:21
Speaker
That's essentially what's coming out. That's essentially what's, when you go, okay. Like, that's what is being said. That's the context. ah That is, not the dumb ass.
00:55:36
Speaker
Well, the dumb ass, but not the hoe part. um mean, it just a hoe, like, not promiscuous, just you a hoe. You just a dumb ass hoe. I don't use hoe that often. like hoe I'm bringing it back I didn't I never really used hoe but I like it I like to call people a dumbass hoe that's new that is new ah so ladies and gentlemen you will be hearing that more often ah me calling people a dumbass hoe Okay. All right, then. I did it again. come I'm trying to shift away from bitch, you know. Bitch is my favorite word. And I hate the fact... right, too short.
00:56:14
Speaker
and No, but literally, I remember being... We're going to tell this last story, and then we're done. All right, y'all getting y'all money's worth for this one today. I was at a friend's... i was at I was visiting a friend at his college. Mm-hmm.
00:56:28
Speaker
And we was at some little day gathering or whatever. It was bunch of us. Yeah. And I guess I was saying bitch a lot. And he pulled me aside because these are some black bourgeoisie. But, you know, they were still down. But, you know. But, yeah, they were real bougie. Yeah. He was like, yo, like Jack in jail type bougie. Jack in jail bougie. Yes. exactly what you're talking It's exactly what it was. It was Jack in jail bougie. Yes.
00:56:56
Speaker
And he was like, yo, man, stop saying bitch so much. I was like, saying bitch a lot? It's like, yes. And then was like, as I got older, I was like, yo, this is my favorite cuss word. I don't say motherfucker or fucker any of those like often. Yeah. Bitch. The problem is,
00:57:13
Speaker
is that you got to be careful how you use it. Yes. Because women will walk past me like, the fuck you say? i was like, no, no, no. i ah That's just my favorite word. yeah I'm not yes saying it like that.
00:57:26
Speaker
Yes. But... Yes, so i that's why I like bitch and being a woman because we use it as a term of endearment. Like, I call my friends bitch. Like, bitch, you ain't never gonna guess what this motherfucker said. Like, bitch, why bitch? it Like, it's different. But a man yelling out, bitch, bitch, bitch, you sound like a massage. So people need to understand the context. Sometimes I be talking to my female friends, I be like, bitch, let me tell you so And then in the moment when I say moment when i say that, I'm like, that sounds very homosexual. but yeah but It's giving.

yeah but But when you're around a lot of women, when you're around people often, no matter what, dark even if you're this strong person, you pick up mannerisms. yeah So there are times when I'm around them. Like, I'll be having some conversations when I'm around my female friends. I'm like, yo,
00:58:27
Speaker
I'm glad none of my boys are around to hear yeah I'm having this particular conversation with y'all, because I'm out of pocket for even participating in this conversation at all. And I'm not really participating. It's a forced participation. And I'm in the background saying, really don't want to talk about those girls. And they're just like, but what do you think? And I was like, what do I think?
00:58:50
Speaker
I don't have an opinion on this particular situation. Right. ah This seems like a gendered conversation that I don't have an opinion on. We know you're not gay. You can say something. as That's not the point. Like, I just, I haven't formulated an opinion because this, like, yeah I'm not in this realm of thinking. I can't give you an honest answer about this. Yeah. But I think also men should realize that you know a woman is locked in with you either as a friend, partner, or whatever, when she calls you girl by accident. Like, that is how you know that. They ain't never called me girl, though. i've I've done it before. i was talking to a good friend, talking to phone, and he was saying something. like, girl. I mean,
00:59:32
Speaker
bow yeah but Wait a minute. But were they gay? No. It's not okay. But they were just saying something real reckless. I was like, girl.
00:59:46
Speaker
ah I think I said, girl, bye. I mean, boy, bye. But that's ah i was like that's how you know I'm locked in with you because I see you. I see you.
00:59:57
Speaker
That's how you know I'm locked in with you. Uh-oh, something happened to the signal. So that's our sign to go ahead and end the show. That's the motherfucking sign if I seen one. Because you froze for a little bit. Oh, because I'm on this damn hotel Wi-Fi, even though I paid $16.95 for the enhanced internet. All right, guys. I hope you enjoyed that clip. And I just want to leave you guys with this.

Conclusion: Truth and Accountability

01:00:28
Speaker
Today's stories all come back to one thing, the consequences of believing you can manage a secret, control the fallout, or clean everything up later.
01:00:39
Speaker
In one story, an argument allegedly begins over messages on a phone and escalates into injuries, criminal charges, a protective order, and a family being pulled apart.
01:00:50
Speaker
That's Big Tigger and his wife. In another, we have a married woman who's dating another man. The boyfriend knows about the husband, but the husband has no idea about the boyfriend.
01:01:02
Speaker
She says she's waiting for the right time to get divorced, but until that time comes, one man is participating with the full story, and the other is living inside of a lie.
01:01:14
Speaker
And then there's me and my sister, admitting that we can make more money and still nickel and dime ourselves right back into being broke. Different stories, but the same behavior. Making decisions today while convincing ourselves we will deal with the consequences tomorrow.
01:01:31
Speaker
But here's an uncomfortable part people don't want to talk about. Waiting for the right time to tell the truth this often is often just more of a comfortable way to continue telling a lie.
01:01:42
Speaker
The boyfriend may know the situation, but the husband cannot consent to an arrangement he doesn't know exists. You can't call something an open situation when only two to three people know the relationship is open.
01:01:55
Speaker
That is not honesty. That is one person controlling who gets the truth and when they receive it. And when it comes to the phone, Whatever is inside the device is not worth somebody getting hurt.
01:02:09
Speaker
Anger, jealousy, embarrassment, or fear of being exposed does not excuse violence. If the reported behavior happened, she went through her phone, it's not a defense.
01:02:23
Speaker
Walking away may feel like losing an argument, but refusing to walk away can cost you your children, your home, your career, your reputation, and your freedom. The same principle applies to money.
01:02:35
Speaker
We can blame inflation, delivery fees, expensive drinks, or the cost of living. But eventually we have to acknowledge the purchases we've made, the habits we refuse to change, and the excuses we kept repeating.
01:02:50
Speaker
Accountability means recognizing what is under your control before the consequences force you to recognize it. Tell the truth before somebody discovers it. Walk away before an argument becomes something you can't undo.
01:03:03
Speaker
And manage what you have instead of assuming more money will fix the habits you refuse to address. Because the decisions we keep postponing do not disappear. michael stays the same They just collect interest.
