N D: Good morning. All right. Hey, we are back for yet another Podcast on Know the Score with Decker and Dix. and We have a special guest in, and we have we've been talking about this for a few years.
N D: about adding either a Lions fan or a Packer fan, and we've we've finally done it. We've gotten somebody angry from Green Bay.
Chad Decker: yeah
N D: We're ready to go.

N D: No. ah
Chad Decker: Well. i don't know if he's angry nolan you know we kind of weve we we've been blessed to talk to him beforehand and
N D: No, I know. I know.
AngryMike: but
Chad Decker: Oh. I think I was a little bit more nervous than what Nolan's like, ah, he's a good guy.
N D: Yeah.
AngryMike: i think
Chad Decker: so but we We were able to chat a little bit before.
AngryMike: a attention
Chad Decker: Duh. the kickoff here. and pretty decent guy seems to know football too so we're happy about that so
N D: yeah
Chad Decker: Angry Mike, what ah tell tell us.
N D: Walk them in.
Chad Decker: Well, who we are and you don't have to tell us what you do and all that, but why why Packers are your team?
AngryMike: to me
AngryMike: Yeah, totally. um Thanks for having me on, by the way. ah You know, I'm from Iowa. My name is Mike. I'm not as angry as I sound. and on on X, but been a Packer fan my entire life.
AngryMike: I'm not nine years old, so that's good, right?
Chad Decker: Yeah.
AngryMike: I'm not. a preteen trying to talk sports with the adults, but.
N D: Yep.
Chad Decker: Yeah.
AngryMike: um My dad was a Packers fan, so... I live you know right next to Illinois, so... so growing up. It was all about the Bears, you know, in my area, and and Green Bay was not very good.
AngryMike: And I remember talking to my dad, I go, why did you make me a Packers fan? Because they suck.
Chad Decker: Yeah. Yeah.
AngryMike: um But. You know? what What is kind of shown in the NFL, especially these days, if you don't have a quarterback, you don't. you're not gonna have a winning team, right?
Chad Decker: true
AngryMike: And.
N D: and The Bears have proved that, yes.
Chad Decker: yeah
AngryMike: Yes.
N D: Yeah.
AngryMike: Yeah. A hundred percent. uh and and you know, the couple of years they had good quarterback play, you know, they. they It's shown you don't need an MVP at quarterback. You just need a... you know, a guy that's competent, right?
N D: ah manager. Yep.
AngryMike: Yeah, and the year, you know, Kyle Orton was a good quarterback in 06 for the Bears, and then they had Grossman. and it worked out okay. You know, they they made the Super Bowl that year. So.
N D: Yep.
AngryMike: But for me, it was you know they hit on Favre. At the time, I remember I was a kid in 92, and I was not happy Ron Wolfe pulled off that trade because they gave up a first -round pick for a second -round quarterback. that looked like he couldn't play.
AngryMike: And. You know, thank God Jerry Glanville is an idiot for the Falcons and traded him over to Green Bay.
Chad Decker: Yeah.
N D: Yeah.
AngryMike: And and and the rest was history, you know, the Reggie White and Favre. And that was an exciting time. and Then they turn around and... drafted a quarterback when they didn't need one with Rogers and he slipped. And then I think Jordan loves ah a notch below those two, but it's it's kind of hard when you follow and an MVP type quarterback, Hall of Fame quarterbacks, and he's pretty good. And I think people sleep on him a little bit. He's he's not Rogers. I don't think there's a more talented thrower of the ball in the history of the the NFL than Aaron Rogers.
AngryMike: um But there's bigger winners than Rodgers. um But I think Jordan Love kind of falls just short of that category. But that doesn't mean he's not a really good quarterback and a competent one to win a Super Bowl. But that's kind of how I became my my parent or my dad was a big Packers fan. We had friends that had Milwaukee season tickets when I was a kid and they still have them. So we go to the second and fifth home game every year. And I've seen some really great games. I've seen some really terrible games, too.
AngryMike: And. ever since then i was hooked so i love talking ball and i'm i'm really glad you guys invited me um to be able to kind of people you know get to know me a little bit better and uh you know be more open to talking ball instead of just spamming and and trolling all the time so
Chad Decker: oh Yeah yeah yeah. Yeah. and
AngryMike: Yeah, I'm excited to hear about more about your teams, too, and what you think.
Chad Decker: yeah Okay. Yeah. Well, Nolan does a lot of the spamming. I usually have to come in and...
N D: Yeah.
Chad Decker: Talk him off the... Talk them off the wall a little bit.
N D: Yeah, I've settled down in my in my age.
Chad Decker: but
N D: I... I've, I've. Taken. You know, it's it's kind of funny on X, you always see these. the tweets that come out and say, well, in two and a half weeks, the Chicago bears are going to determine my mood for the rest of the year.
N D: And it's just like.
Chad Decker: i think
N D: you know It used to be that way. um And I don't know, and ah I have a 26 -year -old son and a 24 -year -old. he's They're both Bears fans. and Um... Every day I kind of ah i want to apologize to him. and um they've They've had some good seasons.
N D: But, you know, last year was was kind of a... a first year for my kids to just get wrapped up in the bears. And instead of calling every week on a great dad, we're two and six.
N D: Who are we going to draft next year? It was kind of like.
Chad Decker: Yeah.
N D: Hey, we got the Packers next week, and we're sitting at 6 -2. So, yeah, when your team wins, it's awesome. And you know, last year was
AngryMike: Yep.
N D: You know, was it a Cinderella story? Will the bears go back to the. ah to to the bottom of the division. I look at this division and we're going to talk about it here. um All four of these teams.
N D: I could have... but If I'm a bet man, I'm about guaranteeing all four of these teams are going to be over 500. And it's going to be. There's going to be tiebreakers to decide who the division champion is.
Chad Decker: I... I don't know. I got a little different take on who's going to win it and all that. and We'll get into that a little bit deeper. but you know i I would like to see the Vikings win a Super Bowl. Not for me, not for the state of Minnesota, but my dad has been a fan since day one.
Chad Decker: And he's like, as soon as they win a Super Bowl. then I can die, you know? and
N D: ah
Chad Decker: And there's been, you know, that 98 team, he was like, this is it, Chad.
N D: My dad. Yeah.
AngryMike: Mm hmm.
Chad Decker: We're going to win it all. We're going to win it all. And then the life is going to be good. and then I just remember. watching that game with him. And he was just like. Oh, God.
Chad Decker: I'm done with this team. But. you know then the draft comes and then then we'll wait until next year and so that's kind of where we're at. Um,
N D: That was kind of the Vikings' motto for, well, it still kind of is.
Chad Decker: Yeah.
N D: There's next year.
Chad Decker: Yeah, yeah.
N D: Wait till next year.
Chad Decker: Wait until next year.
N D: Yeah.
Chad Decker: Wait until next year.
N D: Yeah.
Chad Decker: all right well mike i wanted to ask you so who do you with okay so i you kind of mentioned it when we first started talking but Which fans of the NFC North are your least favorite?
Chad Decker: i mean or you know is it the lions is it the viking fans is it the bear fans which ones which ones kind of make you angry i guess would be my question
AngryMike: Okay.
AngryMike: make Make me angry. That's that's an interesting question.
Chad Decker: Yeah. Yeah.
AngryMike: um You know, most of my like I follow a lot of Bears fans and a lot of Bears fans follow me. um I think we we have some pretty good back and forth going on there.
AngryMike: um day. I don't say that would make me angry. Vikings fans, they're just there's just not as many on there. I don't i don't know if it's just ah the content I put out. ah that maybe trigger more bear spans.
AngryMike: um The interactions I have really with Lions fans, the majority of them are are not great. I think a lot of them are are are very... um Negative. and personal.
AngryMike: you know so i would say that those are probably The Lions fans are probably, I would say, the worst on there, but they come in a lot smaller numbers. But like any fan base, I'll caution, any fan base has...
AngryMike: Bad people in them?
Chad Decker: Oh, absolutely. Absolutely.
AngryMike: And.
Chad Decker: Yeah.
AngryMike: and there's also if you look you you know you don't have to look very hard there's really a lot of good fans in every fan base you know it's it's just all you decide to respond to and associate with but um i would say the bears are probably my favorite group to interact with just because you know, it's it's the excitement of You know, them finally being good again and actually.
AngryMike: you know they may be able to sustain it. just due to the you know their they have a really good coach now and a really good base um But I would probably say lions are the worst.
Chad Decker: ye
AngryMike: I would say out out out of those three.
N D: I would, I would agree as well.
Chad Decker: Okay.
N D: um We had some interaction when Detroit started winning. on x it's just like oh i I think I called Chad up one morning. I'm like, Chad, i said I've got like. 30 Detroit fans just ripping into me and I've never had a Detroit fan on my.
Chad Decker: Yeah.
N D: on my timeline.
Chad Decker: Yeah.
N D: So I know it's an algorithm type of thing.
AngryMike: Okay.
N D: and
Chad Decker: Yeah.
N D: I mean, yeah, I mean, they were Take care. Downright nasty and it's just like how do I get rid of these guys? How do I block? I don't think I've ever blocked anybody but I think they just slowly started.
AngryMike: Yep.
N D: Like. going away. And then now it's like, I don't think I see any bears fans on her. It's all. I've got about 15 Packer fans that are just. One after the other. Constant and...
N D: um It's fun interacting. and you just never know if you're interacting with a live human being or somebody that's got a five accounts and this is their one where they're
AngryMike: hu
N D: they're trying to get money on. and And i've got I've got one or two Packer ones that are kind of like that. It's like, I'll make a response. And like within. 30 seconds, I get a response from him. So I'm like, okay.
N D: Is he actually on X the whole time? It is a ding on his phone or. Is it a computer generated? Reply, you know So it's kind of tough when you're arguing with guys on there, but.
AngryMike: yeah
N D: it's kind of fun and you just gotta i mean if you're gonna be on x you can't take stuff personal If you do.
AngryMike: nope
N D: You might want to deactivate your account. and
Chad Decker: yeah You want to get off X as quick as you can.
N D: Yeah. Yeah, exactly.
Chad Decker: because of You know.
N D: Exactly.
Chad Decker: Bye. Um,
AngryMike: Yep, I agree.
Chad Decker: ask how about so That's the fan base, and then I think you told us like the team -wise you didn't like the Vikings because they beat you all the time when you first started liking the Packers. Was that true, or is that kind of changing now?
AngryMike: Yeah. yeah
Chad Decker: or what
AngryMike: Well... you know i
Chad Decker: Not that you hate. You don't hate. Hate's hates a strong word. So.
N D: SpongeBob hates.
AngryMike: Yeah, I think.
N D: We dislike.
Chad Decker: Yeah. Yeah. yeah
AngryMike: Yeah, i think that I think the Vikings have always kind of been... the arch rival i think of of my generation i just think it it's because the teams are always We're were the consistent every year of of being in the mix.
Chad Decker: right right
AngryMike: Um, the the bears would you know every five or six years they you know, be a contender. And then the next year they'd slide back. You know, if you look at the Matt Nagy year, Hey, this is our year, you know, we're going to be good finally. And then the next year they kind of.
AngryMike: um fell back to earth uh the lions just not Wayne Fonce, I mean, they were nine and seven, what, three years in a row?
Chad Decker: Yeah.
AngryMike: back in the 90s and then uh And then they just kind of fell off for...
Chad Decker: Wow.
N D: Okay.
Chad Decker: okay
AngryMike: for a long, long time. So them being back, I get that too, from a Lions fan perspective, when you've struggled that long, you don't really understand how to handle success.
Chad Decker: yeah
Chad Decker: Yeah.
AngryMike: But ah the Vikings have always kind of been in it, but always kind of fell a little bit short. and And to be honest, with the outside of those two Super Bowls with Green Bay, they're kind of in that same category. they they're They're in the playoffs every year, and then something weird or wonky happens, and they just...
AngryMike: they They end up not. Winning it all. You know?
Chad Decker: yeah yeah
AngryMike: um And that's the frustrating part for for being a Packers fan, too.
N D: So.
AngryMike: You always fall just a little bit short or don't have what you need or somebody gets injured. um It just. You know, it's tough.
Chad Decker: right
N D: So my my one argument on X... I throw it out there a lot and. I get slammed for it all the time. It's like, well, the Bears only have one Super Bowl. And a lot of everybody I'm talking to is, okay, let's talk in our lifetime.
N D: Right.
AngryMike: Yep.
N D: So in my lifetime, I've seen a Bears Super Bowl.
AngryMike: Yep.
N D: I've seen two appearances. I've seen... ah an interception on the, on the one yard line to knock us out of the NFC championship, but we won't talk about that one.
Chad Decker: Yeah.
N D: um
AngryMike: Yep. Yeah.
Chad Decker: What team was that, Nolan?
N D: i I think, I don't i don't remember.
Chad Decker: Okay.
N D: It was green and gold, I think. I don't remember the name of it.
Chad Decker: Okay.
AngryMike: but
N D: But. But it it was a very tough loss as you sat there and you watched you know Cutler get hurt and you're just like.
AngryMike: Yep.
AngryMike: Mm hmm.
N D: oh my god you know
AngryMike: Yep.
N D: but you know watching these teams year in and year out Um. I don't know. that The level that. The teams are out this year. It's exciting.
N D: You know, you got Jordan Love, you've got Caleb Williams. You've got Jared Goff. And. Okay. We're going to bring Chad into this one. I mean.
AngryMike: Yeah.
N D: are Are we worried about a Kyler Murray -led Vikings offense?
Chad Decker: Uhhh...
Chad Decker: I think... Yes.
AngryMike: it's
Chad Decker: We are. and And the other reason we worry. is because of the Vikings offensive line. I think if the offensive line stays healthy. I think. Murray's going to be okay.
Chad Decker: I'm a little bit worried about our running back room. You know, Aaron Jones, former Packer. You know, that first year he was with us, I absolutely loved him because he was like...
AngryMike: Yep.
Chad Decker: the driving force, but now he's. three years older and just banged up and and all that sort of thing and well you know that mike i mean he was always hurt for you guys right i mean it was like
AngryMike: Thanks. Always hurt.
Chad Decker: three, four games, you know, and big games and that.
AngryMike: Always heard. Yeah.
Chad Decker: And I don't know, but. um It...
N D: So...
Chad Decker: Again, injuries.
N D: Chad, before... Yeah.
Chad Decker: Injuries are going to be, if if the Vikings offensive line can stay healthy.
N D: Yeah.
Chad Decker: I think it's it's going to be a good season for Kyler Murray.
N D: I kind of veered away from my point. I got.
Chad Decker: Yeah.
N D: Off on a tangent going the other way, but my one question I had for you, Mike, was.
Chad Decker: Yeah.
N D: um so i bring up you know, those, the Superbowl, the Packers, obviously you've had two Superbowls, one with Favre, one with Rogers. My thing in that, and I don't know if I was a Packer fan, if I would be.
N D: disappointed to the point of I've had over 30 years of Hall of Fame quarterbacking. And. Do you think as a fan? Have the Packers underachieved with those two Hall of Fame quarterbacks? Should they have won?
N D: Another two Super Bowls, one each, or? I don't know
AngryMike: Yeah, i think i don't I don't think it's a quarterback failure. ah you know and i And I don't think you're you're thinking that that's the cause. but Um, I thought.
N D: No. No.
AngryMike: Yeah, i yeah they should have won two more so they should have won more Super Bowls, no doubt. um And there's a lot of weird things that happen. 97, I mean, they they made three Super Bowls in my lifetime.
AngryMike: 97, they lost to the Broncos, which... devastated me because it was the first time my team made it to the big game and lost.
N D: Yep.
Chad Decker: Yeah.
AngryMike: Um, But. I really thought that... really if you go to the late 90s, early 2000s, Green Bay was kind of stuck in neutral. And.
AngryMike: They didn't have a very good. you know, GM, Ron Wolf retired. You had Mike Sherman, who was really, really bad at. at being a GM. And. You know, I think they they really squandered a lot of Favre's later years. they They did, you know, fall short.
AngryMike: I think it was 2007. They lost to the Giants. And that kind of ushered in the Rogers years. and ah really when Rogers took over.
AngryMike: in 98 you know it was a little up and down but we we saw a lot out of him and then his coming out party. Um, i'm sorry it was 2008 the coming out party was 2009 against the cardinals he he threw for I think 400 yards and tons of touchdowns.
AngryMike: They lost in a shootout to that Kurt Warner team.
Chad Decker: ye yeah
AngryMike: Um, They were loaded when they won the Super Bowl. And I was actually at that NFC title game in Chicago. um I was sitting way up in the in the corner of the end zone and froze because I was facing the lake.
Chad Decker: Yeah.
AngryMike: but it it It was, it was. just outstanding that game and i thought green bay was going to be a dynasty but what we figured out because that whole team was young and and signed and Um,
AngryMike: But yeah, I think... Later on in Rodgers' career, I think Ted Thompson could have made a couple moves. He did not like... signing free agents. He did not. um like to trade draft equity and i all go back I always go back to that Marshawn Lynch trade. um They needed to give up a third -round pick for him, and he wouldn't budge, and he ended up going to Seattle.
AngryMike: And they won a Super Bowl with him and and just about won a second one.
Chad Decker: Yeah.
AngryMike: but They just didn't do enough to put them over the top. But if you look at Rodgers' numbers, I have a post I did like three or four months ago. If you look at his numbers. They're just amazing. But you look at things like Brandon Bostic, you know. ah dropping that onside kick you know just like last year with with romeo dobbs against the bears you know in that last regular season game. There's just...
AngryMike: There's just really weird stuff that happens. So yoy I always say, have you been through tough times? Yes, I have. if you' It's a different type of pain. Like you have the Browns, you know, that just don't win anything.
Chad Decker: yeah Yeah.
AngryMike: and then And then you have being on the cusp of winning it all every year and then falling just short with something really dumb that happens.
Chad Decker: Yeah.
AngryMike: so um 21 -3 against the Bears was devastating. It was embarrassing. And I really thought. Green Bay would would move on from LeFleur to get the stench out of the room, but they double down on him.
AngryMike: um I think he's a really good coach, but he tends to get really conservative in the second half. so long long answer short here. All right. or short answer long, I should say. um they've fallen short and they need to be better.
AngryMike: Um. But I think. You know, at least Gutekinst is willing to to trade to get the right players in the room like Parsons. Um, But I think they fell short in previous years. that They should have won more than twice.
N D: yeah
Chad Decker: Yeah. uh Parsons is a Kind of glad the Vikings don't have to face them week one. You know, that's kind of a kind of a good thing. so
AngryMike: Yeah, yeah. He, you know, and and some Bear fans talk to me too about... well, you know, Parsons didn't do anything in that first game. He didn't get a sack. And and I'm like, well. If you're a box score watcher, yes.
AngryMike: But if you watch that first game, he was double teamed like 60 % of the time.
Chad Decker: Joy out. Yeah.
N D: oh yeah
Chad Decker: yeah yeah yeah
AngryMike: He eats up two guys, you know, and and when you don't have that.
Chad Decker: Yep.
N D: They make an impact.
AngryMike: It allows other teams to play you know different types of defenses if you don't have to account for them.
Chad Decker: right right so that's ah i would I would agree with that. so he's a he's a he's a difference maker you know is he But. I... Like, I don't know. We'll talk about. aaron darnold maybe here in a couple minutes or so but um see what he comes back with but

Chad Decker: um me Yeah, we know Mike's on a short time, so...
AngryMike: It makes no sense.

Chad Decker: so you know what
N D: And we usually do go anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes. So we're.

N D: All right. Well, let's get. Yeah. Well, we... I kind of sent... set the list out of kind of what we wanted to talk about today we'll we'll let things flow as we want but
AngryMike: Yeah.
N D: Um, Let's start off, I guess with the division standings. um but I don't know who wants to go first here. I've got, I guess I could probably start since I'll bring this up. Chad can start the next one. but um As far as the division championships and the win losses. I kind of went through.
N D: All four schedules. you know just Real quickly, got some records. Um. You know, i unfortunately, I do have a one -game lead for... Detroit on winning the division at the end of the year. I know Chad's probably surprised by this, but before we went on the air, I told him, I said,
N D: They've got. Nine. GimmeGames. in their schedule so that's nine wins right out of the gate Um. can Can they go two and four in the... division. If they do, they go 11 and six and probably win the division.
N D: And I got Chicago second, Green Bay third, Minnesota fourth.
Chad Decker: I'm going to make that a soundbite that you said Detroit's going to win the division.
N D: I know.
Chad Decker: and I'm going to send it to all those lion guys. so
N D: Yeah, there you go. No, Ed.
Chad Decker: i want
N D: I didn't expect them that they were going to win it. Um... But obviously with their running back room, with... Goff with... You know, they got some good wide receivers, a tight end. Their ah offense is going to score points. Obviously, their defense is going to be their weakness. but Um...
N D: When you've got. Giants, Tennessee, Atlanta, Tampa Bay, Miami, Arizona, Carolina Jets and the Saints. on your schedule That's... Almost nine wins unless they...
N D: Go for fourth down too many times.
Chad Decker: Well, we've always said they could out Dan Campbell themselves, you know.
AngryMike: meeting
N D: Yep. Yep.
Chad Decker: And so, but, well, I got.
N D: And this also could be reverse psychology too, Chad.
Chad Decker: Okay, gotcha.
N D: Just remember that.
Chad Decker: Well, i got I got Green Bay winning. I think Green Bay will win that division. Um, I got Chicago second. I got Minnesota third. And I got Detroit fourth because I just think Detroit.
Chad Decker: is... there's just been i I truly believe Detroit misses Ben Johnson. and and Glenn. And that really showed last year. So hopefully. you know. those predictions are right.
Chad Decker: um But I don't know. I just think Green Bay is. got it this year i mean last year there was a couple things that went bad but I just think that, I don't know. With Jacob's being gone.
Chad Decker: um Bye. I don't know. I just think it's their year. And I think once once Parsons gets back, and I think they've they've built the the defensive up, yeah, their cornerbacks are a little bit.
Chad Decker: Iffy. but i think Every defense in the NFC North is iffy. And I think Green Bay is the... the least amount of iffy because once Parsons is back. He kind of takes, like like Mike said earlier, two, sometimes three guys.
Chad Decker: and that that lets other guys loose so That's my thoughts.
AngryMike: All right, so so I have... I love the fact that we all have. all are going to have it a little bit different. Um, One thing I do agree with, I think the Lions win the division. um the reason i'm saying that is even John Morton, as as bad as he was as an as an offensive coordinator.
AngryMike: um He ended up getting... you know obviously his play calling duties taken away and dan campbell took it over That ah offense last year was still fourth and... points per game. um So they were they were still really, really good. and I don't know how Jameer Gibbs is going to be as the...
AngryMike: the soul lead back here. I'm not a huge fan of Isaiah Pacheco. um taken over from montgomery because i think montgomery was a big part of that offense
Chad Decker: Yep. Yeah. yeah
AngryMike: Um, They added Cade Mays at center, you know, that was, because Ragnow left, that was a big a big gap for them there. But I have them at 11 -6. Green Bay and the Bears I actually have tied for second. so it It's kind of like kissing your cousin here. I have them both at 10 and...
AngryMike: I have them both at 10 and 7. and then i have the vikings at nine and eight just because of the the quarterback situation there is. Kyler Murray gets injured, then you're back to J .J. McCarthy. But, uh... There's strengths and weaknesses of every one of these teams. Any of these teams could win the division, I think, just depending on injury luck.
AngryMike: Um, but uh You know, like Green Bay with their offensive line, if Jordan Morgan doesn't pan out a left tackle, that offensive line is going to be putrid. And they already have injuries with Zach.
AngryMike: Don't call me Tom. Baco Boele. um a right tackle and then aaron banks can't stay healthy Um, The Vikings, you know, it's the quarterback. The Bears, it's the defense. I think the Bears ah offense is going to be really, really good. Their defense is not going to be great. I don't think any Bears fan will admit. um that they think that defense is going to be good so really it all it all depends and i think they're going to cannibalize each other too in that division. The Lions have trouble with the Packers.
AngryMike: The Lions can beat the Bears and the Vikings kind of split with everybody. but You know, the Bears had the Packers numbers there late. You know, it it just kind of is a mix of a lot of teams just know each other really well.
N D: no
AngryMike: And I think it's going to come down to. to injuries.
N D: Well, Chad, I hate to tell you this, but... We might have to change the name to know the score with Dixon, Mike, because.
Chad Decker: Yeah.
N D: Because I had the same identical records. for For the division, I had i had Detroit sitting at 11 -6.
AngryMike: but

You know, Green green Bay is going to score points. ah but What I like about each one of them brings a little bit different dynamic. Like, I don't think anybody can can argue. Christian Watson's an elite physical.
AngryMike: receiver. He runs a 4 '4", he's 6 '5", he's got really good hands. Um, He just needs to stay healthy. And I think that's kind of the theme to the entire Packers team.

AngryMike: It's all projection because none of them can stay healthy an entire year.

AngryMike: um But when Watson came back last year, I mean, he was a top 10 receiver in in this. eight games he played or whatever he played last year. um I think he's really good. Jayden Reed, his first two years before he got hurt last year, had... Averaged about 850 yards and six or seven touchdowns.
AngryMike: That's a really good second receiver. And. um Matthew Golden, he's got really good hands. He's really fast. And I think them losing Dobbs and Wicks, I think kind of opens up opportunities for him.

AngryMike: but but he's He's looked fantastic in training camp, but again, it's training camp, right? um So I think As a group, I i think they're probably a top 15 group, right in the 15, 16 range, probably, if I ranked them.

AngryMike: Um, But they're they're kind of a sum of all their parts. I know i don't think any one of them you're going to look at and say, wow, this is a top. five receiver. But I think as a group, I think they're really good and really solid.

AngryMike: And people don't realize that Benjamin St. Joost was the highest -rated zone coverage receiver in the league last year, and adding him... and having less keyshawn nixon and less valentine and having more options i think is important

Keep waiting for a jump for him. um But adding Hargrave and getting a healthy Wyatt, I think i think Green Bay's defense is going to hold up. but And they're also playing Kyler Murray in his first start ever in Minnesota. AngryMike: ah Caleb Johnson, I mean, i'm ah I'm an Iowa fan. I love Caleb Johnson when he was at Iowa. He stunk last year with the Steelers. um And if those two are your main two backs and then you have Brooks just for pass protection.
AngryMike: it's going to be tough sledding there. so But i think there is I think you're right. There's going to be more opportunities for love. And if you can end up slinging it. 30 times a game, I think, yeah, I could. But they have to win with it, too.

N D: and And I am going to go on record as saying Austin Booker is not a dirty player. I'm just gonna put that out there.
AngryMike: ah I don't think it... You know, I may i may have a little bit of a different opinion because in that second that second game, it seemed like he lowered his helmet a couple times and missed. But I don't know if it's just bad technique or or what, but.
AngryMike: it It seems like some of the tackles he tries to make is a little... ah They look a little suspicious, but...
Chad Decker: They looked a little Detroit -ish to me, too.

AngryMike: Yeah. A little Kirby Joseph at the knees.
N D: That's what scares.

N D: Yeah. And that's what scares me with. having healthy wide receivers all year. You get some of these catches and these D backs don't tackle anymore.
AngryMike: Yeah.
N D: They're just. They're just going for the knees. They're just putting their shoulder pads down. and So you see some of these tight ends that like when Hawkinson got hurt, I mean, that was nasty. And it's just like. Come on.
AngryMike: Yep.
N D: I mean. But that's how these D -backs are.
AngryMike: Yep.
N D: They're not going to get hurt. They're not going to hurt their arms. They're just going to go down, tuck their head. put the shoulder into the legs and... undercut them and that i think that's I wish they'd do away with that type of tackle, but I know they never will.
AngryMike: Yeah, it's... you know, it's gonna get to a point where It's tackle football, right?

AngryMike: You don't want it to where it's Keyshawn Nixon where he just jumps out of the play and doesn't try to tackle somebody. You know, I think we all saw that against the Bears.

AngryMike: maybe some of these D -backs don't want to take on those hits and they have to go low. to be able to make the tackle.
