Concerns About Humanity's Future
00:00:00
Speaker
Why are you telling this yeah to everybody now? now Look out at the world. Look inside our country. We are not headed to a good future.
00:00:13
Speaker
Ultimately, my biggest fear is what humanity will do to itself out of fear and greed and what we have done. We have built a prison around ourselves. It's invisible, but it's not complete.
00:00:30
Speaker
And there is still time to maybe alter our trajectory.
Personal Update from Isaiah
00:00:37
Speaker
Hello, and welcome back to UFO Focus. I'm your host, Isaiah. The voices you heard in the introduction there were those of right at the beginning, journalists Jeremy Corbell and George Knapp, and then ah purported whistleblower Matthew Brown, about whom this episode is going to be.
00:01:01
Speaker
And we'll get to that in just a moment.
00:01:07
Speaker
I'm so glad to have you back. It's good to be back after a hiatus that included... um As you'll know if you listen to my last little update, ah the birth of my baby daughter, our baby daughter, ah which, of course, I'm over the moon about.
00:01:27
Speaker
It's good to remember or be reminded that all kinds of good things can happen and all kinds of goodness can exist in ah and often bad world.
Introduction to Immaculate Constellation
00:01:43
Speaker
But let's get right down to it. The topic of today's episode, as well as the next episode, because I've broken this up because there's just so much to cover, really.
00:01:54
Speaker
um But the topic of today's episode is... Immaculate Constellation.
00:02:05
Speaker
ah You may remember, if you've been listening to this podcast, that I did an episode about... Immaculate Constellation last year, um just before the election, I think it was.
00:02:18
Speaker
So this is the same thing, but there's a whole lot of new stuff. So what I'd like to do is just start by giving you sort of the headlines, as it were, um and then take a step back and give you some important context and then dig into the details.
00:02:36
Speaker
So let's start with the
Michael Schellenberger's Report
00:02:37
Speaker
headlines. What is Immaculate Constellation? Immaculate Constellation is an alleged secret government program to monitor UAPs or UFOs.
00:02:50
Speaker
The first thing public allegations that this program existed ah came from a report by an independent journalist named Michael Schellenberger, we'll get to him, ah last year.
00:03:05
Speaker
Then Schellenberger testified before a congressional committee, along with other a panel of people, um and spoke to his reporting. um And I'm sorry, I should have said, so Schellenberger's reporting was that a whistleblower and other unnamed sources um were alleging the existence of this secret program called Immaculate Constellation.
00:03:29
Speaker
Okay, so then Schellenberger testified before Congress about his reporting, but at the same time, um literally, i think during the hearing, Congress members were presented with um a copy of this report, a report about this Immaculate Constellation program written by an unnamed person or persons.
Whistleblower Matthew Brown's Allegations
00:03:54
Speaker
Now, it seems that that report was actually given to members of Congress by ah different journalist, Jeremy Corbell. Corbell, well, we'll get to him again in a second too. So, okay. So then this report became public.
00:04:13
Speaker
And we'll get to the report in detail. Then, gosh, I guess two weeks ago, journalists journalist duo Jeremy Korbel and George Knapp, that's spelled K-N-A-P-P, came out with this you know blockbuster series of interviews, or rather I should say series of podcasts slash YouTube episodes featuring chunks of I think the same one interview, basically, with the allege with the apparent guy, whistleblower, whose name is Matthew Brown, who had been Schellenberger's source, one of Schellenberger's alleged sources, um and who apparently wrote this document, the Immaculate Constellation Report, that made its way to Congress and then to the public,
00:05:12
Speaker
um Corbell and Knapp have been releasing this interview with him. They've released, as of today, three parts. I don't know if there are any more. So that's the big news, is that there's sort of this new whistleblower. And when I say new, um I'm thinking back to David Grush, probably the most famous whistleblower on UFOs to come out in recent years, right?
00:05:38
Speaker
um There's this new whistleblower ah alleging the existence of this program. And also, and and this gets a little bit hinky, actually, but also...
00:05:49
Speaker
More or less saying, yes, we're being visited by non-human intelligence. But it turns out it's actually really hard to pin him down on saying that directly.
00:06:04
Speaker
Okay, so now that you've got the main bullet points here, want to give a little bit of context. First, Michael Schellenberger, the quote-unquote independent journalist who broke this story last November.
Host's Distrust of Schellenberger
00:06:20
Speaker
I don't trust the guy. I think he's a scumbag. ah He's what we call in the journalism profession a two-bit hack.
00:06:31
Speaker
um You can go see this guy's substack. Let's see. Let me find it. It's it's called Public. and Very... very officious sounding.
00:06:42
Speaker
Um, and it's just, it's just two bit partisan drivel, super pro Trump nonsense. Uh, you can hear, you can hear Trump's ass being kissed a mile away with the Schellenberger guy.
00:06:57
Speaker
So it now it doesn't make his reporting wrong. Um, I just don't trust him and how Matthew Brown, the purported whistleblower, hooked up with him in the first place is really kind of a mystery to me.
00:07:12
Speaker
um And why he's with Corbell and Knapp is also unclear. But yeah, how he found his way to this kind of, you know, dirtbag journalist um is one of many questions I have about this whole story.
Critique of Corbell and Knapp's Style
00:07:26
Speaker
um Okay, then let's get to Korbel and Knapp, the duo, the independent duo, who journalistic duo, who released these interviews.
00:07:38
Speaker
I like Korbel and Knapp. I respect them. I think they do good journalism, which is not the same as saying that they are always good journalists. Now, George Knapp is a veteran journalist.
00:07:51
Speaker
He's a good journalist. Korbel, and this is not a personal knock, he's not... ah He's sort of someone who became a self-style journalist. And I have nothing against that.
00:08:05
Speaker
It's a free country, right? um And i mean, hey, that's kind of how I started too. But um
00:08:14
Speaker
as a pair in their independent UFO journalism, I find Corbell and Knapp to be sometimes frustratingly... What's the phrase? Uh...
00:08:27
Speaker
firing from the hip, loose cannons, a little half-baked sometimes in their presentation. um And and though I'm not bringing this up to diss them, but I am bringing it up because ah anyone interested in the story will presumably...
00:08:46
Speaker
go listen to these interviews. And what I have to warn you, so I listen to them as podcasts. The podcast is called Weaponized, and it's available as a podcast and as a YouTube, right?
00:08:57
Speaker
I'm a podcast guy, and to me that means audio, listening. And Just to give you a sense of this, the the first interview begins with essentially no introduction, no setup, no context, and does not even mention Matthew Brown's name. So I was like, wait, is this guy anonymous?
00:09:19
Speaker
And then I had to go to the YouTube, to see but then I'm seeing this name popping up and I'm like, where's everyone getting this? So I had to go to YouTube and see that, oh, there's a banner under him that says his name in the video version.
00:09:30
Speaker
Now, that might seem like a small complaint, and I guess it is a small complaint, but the lack of sort of a formal, organized setup. Hi, you know, we're two journalists.
00:09:43
Speaker
This is the story that we're telling. This is who this guy is. This is what his background is. And here's what he has to I think that the lack of that really hurts the journalism.
00:09:54
Speaker
And I don't want to see, you know, I want to see ah these guys succeed and get more mainstream attention to these things. So that is my unsolicited two cents on the Corbell Knapp interviews.
00:10:10
Speaker
You know, good work getting this guy and everything, but... we've got to We've got to tighten up, professionalize a little bit the reporting on this subject if it's going to be taken seriously. you know if If I can't send the thing, in this case like the interview, if I can't just send that to my mom and be like, here, listen to this, because there's no context and you have to know all this UFO stuff to understand it, that's not a good place to be. That means you come out of the gate losing nine-tenths of the public.
00:10:45
Speaker
Okay, rant over on that. Okay, so let's take this ah report that Matthew Brown submitted to members of Congress, apparently.
UAP Management and Legal Concerns
00:10:55
Speaker
um Let's see what's in it, and then we'll get to the interview with Matthew Brown.
00:11:01
Speaker
um Okay, so the report um is, I think, 12 pages, and it says that it's the result of a multi-year investigation into...
00:11:13
Speaker
ah Well, into the matters of the report. So this investigation, we sort of find out in the interview, this is essentially Matthew Brown's own investigation.
00:11:24
Speaker
Okay. and um It was submitted... ah under the auspices of seeking whistleblower protections that were established by Congress in the 2023 NDAA, that's the National Defense Authorization Act, giant military bill.
00:11:45
Speaker
So ah in the, in 22 actually, but for the 23 um Congress established these protections for whistleblowers specifically around UAP programs.
00:11:58
Speaker
This is very important because we're going to come back to this later. um But it's a crucial part of the story. Brown saw that this act had passed, that these whistleblower protections had been established, and he says that's when he decided to use them to go forward and supply this information to Congress.
00:12:20
Speaker
um This information being, at least so far, this report. Okay, the main claim of the report is that the U.S. executive branch has concealed its management of UAP or UFO or NHI, that's non-human intelligence related programs or investigation from Congress, potentially for decades.
00:12:50
Speaker
um And basically, it asserts that ah there is this secret program, Immaculate Constellation, that exists in violation of the Constitution. It is being illegally kept from Congress.
00:13:04
Speaker
Okay. Let's see. What else do we want to
Various UAP Sightings
00:13:08
Speaker
go over? Okay, so then it talks about the program, this Immaculate Constellation program. It says that the program was created after 27th.
00:13:17
Speaker
yeah okay created after And another program called ATIP was revealed by the New York Times in 2017 and was, I guess, closed then officially, think the same year.
00:13:34
Speaker
So the the infamous 2017 New York Times article that in many ways set the modern UFO era in motion, certainly one of the things that drew me to the issue, um that was describing another sort of, maybe not totally secret, but hitherto unknown,
00:13:53
Speaker
UFO program called AATIP. So this report says that Immaculate Constellation was set up after AATIP was closed. So they they, the government, the Pentagon, closed one UFO office, but then apparently secretly, allegedly secretly set up another one.
00:14:14
Speaker
So then the report sort of goes on to say that there's all this evidence of UAP activity that um is being kept secret, right?
00:14:28
Speaker
um It says that UAP have been frequently observed near sensitive military, nuclear, and aerospace facilities, um It says that observed UAP include metallic orbs, triangles, discs, boomerangs, and jellyfish-like objects.
00:14:50
Speaker
um And it has a few detailed descriptions of ah of a few incidents, including, um and we'll hear about this again, um an apparent like triangle triangular craft hovering over a Russian vessel.
00:15:09
Speaker
And... Oh, and also orbs... Orbs... I don't like the word orb, but I'm not the one using it here. Orbs swarming an F-22 and forcing it out of a patrol area.
00:15:29
Speaker
The report sort of describes the way Immaculate Constellation works as is this as this secret program... that kind of, I guess we could say, kind of sucks up, scrapes, collects, and then hides all this evidence of UAP activity, keeps it from where it could be known and discussed by representatives of the people, Congress.
00:16:04
Speaker
Um... Okay, and that's pretty much the
Matthew Brown's Background
00:16:09
Speaker
report. The rest of the report is him sort of laying out more detail about the kinds of things that have been observed, etc.
00:16:17
Speaker
Okay, so now we're going to pivot to who is Matthew Brown. And this for me was um is the most frustrating thing about the way that Corbell and Knapp presented this information, these interviews, is because there was no sort of introduction. that i had no idea still listening to the two podcasts, maybe a little bit more. I mean, some sort of context clues, but there was just no moment to say, here's who this guy is. Here's what he did. Here's what those jobs mean.
00:16:50
Speaker
um So I'm going to rely on this article that I believe Corbell and Knapp endorse saying, yeah, the article's got it right, which it's not the way to do it. um
00:17:02
Speaker
It's by DailyMail.com. dot com published on April 29th, 2025. Pentagon whistleblower fears execution after revealing bombshell UFO programs secretly studying alien tech.
00:17:18
Speaker
Okay, but we can talk about the execution part later. Um, The whistleblower behind a stunning report submitted to Congress exposing what he claims is the secret Pentagon program tracking unidentified anomalous phenomena, UAP, has now revealed his identity and he says he fears for his future in speaking out.
00:17:41
Speaker
Matthew Brown is a former U.S. national security officer ah official who previously served as a policy advisor for the Office of the Secretary of Defense, a technical advisor for the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security, and a program advisor for the Department of State.
00:18:13
Speaker
Okay, so ah you know if you happen to speak Pentagon-ese, maybe you understand what those things mean.
00:18:23
Speaker
I don't understand what those things mean. It sounds like he was legit. don't know. I've heard different things from different podcasts that he was maybe... possibly ah kind of a lower ranking guy, and then others say, no, you have to have pretty high clearance.
00:18:39
Speaker
he I mean, if and if his basic story is true, he seems to have had decently high security clearance such that he could view um the kinds of videos of UAP that we've heard other people now, including ah former members of the UAP task force, describe viewing themselves who also had clearances, right? So we can probably assume that he's sort of at least of that ranking of other people we've heard from who have said like, yeah, I reviewed videos of what sure looked to me like aliens, is what a few people have said now.
00:19:17
Speaker
Sorry, and I should immediately clarify, they've seen what they thought to be alien tech or non-human tech, not actual beings.
00:19:30
Speaker
Okay, so anyway, now we have some idea who Matthew Brown is.
Whistleblowing Risks and Questions
00:19:35
Speaker
We know something of the contents of this report he put together. So now we turn to the most important thing, the core, the proverbial apple core of our inquiry, which is Matthew Brown's story.
00:19:57
Speaker
Well, that's like trying to take the core from an apple without breaking the skin. And I the I begged the court to let me cut into the apple.
00:20:09
Speaker
That was, of course, the great Jimmy Stewart in the film Anatomy of a Murder. Excellent film. I just thought you all might enjoy that. But anyway, yes, let's cut into the apple.
00:20:22
Speaker
Who is this Matthew Brown? Why did he take these risks to come forward? ah What does he know? What doesn't he know? All of that.
00:20:34
Speaker
next time because I'm getting ready. I got to go to bed and cut this short. So that's going to be next episode, which I'll bring to you as soon as possible. I try not to make you wait too long.
00:20:46
Speaker
So until next time, thank you so much for tuning in. I'm your host, Isaiah, again. um ah As I've been saying, I'm really interested in talking to folks who have seen UFOs, UAP, or think they may have. So um please drop me a line if you'd like to talk about that or anything else with comments about the show, etc.
