Speaker: Are these for the thumbnail?
Speaker: Oh my god, yeah, that'd be great.
Speaker: No!
Speaker: I mean, you're so far in the background that it wouldn't look great in the cutout.
Speaker: No, that's great.
Speaker: That's fine.
Speaker: Cut me out.
Speaker: We need to make you wide and blurry.
Speaker: Yeah!
Speaker: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to this momentous occasion on the Oddly Coded Podcast.
Speaker: It is episode 20.
Speaker: My God, can we get some, can we get some W's in the chat?
Speaker: Can we please get some claps in the chat?
Speaker: Thank you, chat.
Speaker: Thank you, chat.
Speaker: I would like to introduce my chat here.
Speaker: Mr. Steege one, Mr. Kyle himself, and also Mr. Matt, Mr. Major Astro Matt pants.
Speaker: There he is.
Speaker: Um, friends, we have been on this podcast for 20 entire episodes and I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart, from the bottom of my heart for each and every single one of these episodes and
Speaker: You've made this shit possible.
Speaker: Anyways, Steege1, before we get into the meat and potatoes of the episode, I would like you to, let's take a step back to episode 19, I think.
Speaker: If you got that comment of the week from that episode, you might not have, but it's from the comment of the week.
Speaker: Steege1, you have the floor!
Speaker: It's comment of the week time.
Speaker: And we have a returning commenter because it was pretty good.
Speaker: So last week we were talking about different kinds of game tropes.
Speaker: Dan is destroying his room for some reason.
Speaker: Shut up.
Speaker: We were talking about different kinds of game genres and tropes that we think are overdone.
Speaker: Yeah, I'm fine.
Speaker: Apparently, for our listeners, apparently Dan was making such a ruckus that his girlfriend came in and was just like, are you okay?
Speaker: thank you all right all right thanks payton i ran best appearance on episode 20 everything has to happen on a special episode like that stage one please you have the floor again okay the floor is mine um so yes so we were talking about game tropes and genres that were like kind of overdone uh and we got a comment from uh our friends uh i can hear colors i can't
Speaker: our friend and yours yeah uh basically talking about uh uh he he was excited that we brought up spell break uh which was a game that i mentioned it was a battle royale that it was a really cool concept and it kind of just didn't hit the timing super well or there was something that caused it to not really take off in the same way like fortnight or apex or one of those i forgot we talked about that game my dude
Speaker: yeah we sure did which is why i'm taking the lead on this so nice job oh my god oh my god you guys talked about spell break that was one of the only battle royales to really keep my attention it's a shame it got shut down a really cool concept um he adds i'm really sick of seeing battle passes it's mostly because if every game has a battle pass i feel fomo because i can't dedicate that much time to every game and you know what austin that is what they're counting on
Speaker: They want you to feel FOMO.
Speaker: That's why they're doing it, which is why I really like, and obviously this isn't the topic of today, but I just want to throw in there on this topic.
Speaker: I do really appreciate the couple of games I've seen where if they do have a battle pass, you're able to finish it later.
Speaker: Halo Infinite did this.
Speaker: They made it to where...
Speaker: Yeah, they made it to where if you do buy a battle pass, there's no limit on to when you can finish it.
Speaker: Like they still have their seasons, but like you can, the one thing is you can, if you have multiple battle passes that are like banked up that you still have to finish, you can only do one at a time.
Speaker: You have to work on one at a time, but still like take all the time you need to finish.
Speaker: And you know what?
Speaker: If I'm paying $10 for something that I'm paying my money for, let me finish it at my own pace.
Speaker: You know what I mean?
Speaker: Alternatively, they could just put that in the game.
Speaker: There's a Google Chrome extension that now allows people to go back to previous Destiny battle passes.
Speaker: Oh, shit.
Speaker: Depending on how far you've completed the Destiny season pass, you can still claim rewards from previous season passes.
Speaker: that you hadn't claimed before wait chrome it's lyle's cat hold on chrome extension does that does that matt was the fact matt heard meowing and was just like what the fuck is that yeah matt lyle's cat everybody all right lyle's cat everyone guest thank you morty morty if you're out there fuck you
Speaker: If you're out there somewhere directly underneath me, go fuck yourself.
Speaker: No, the door is closed in my room.
Speaker: Like, he's probably sitting right at the base of the door.
Speaker: He's just upset at a louder volume.
Speaker: Right where he feels the air coming through, just... He's like, dead!
Speaker: Dead!
Speaker: He's a little asshole, and I... Oh, my God.
Speaker: Are you okay?
Speaker: Are you okay in there?
Speaker: So you said that this was a Chrome extension?
Speaker: Does that imply that you're able to play Destiny on a browser?
Speaker: No, no, no, no, no.
Speaker: It's literally a Chrome extension.
Speaker: It's an unofficial third party that someone from the community, I guess, made so that they... And anyone who actually uses it out there, correct me if I'm wrong on this, but I'm fairly certain it's literally just something you can use to attach to your Bungie account unofficially to go back to old
Speaker: passes to claim older rewards.
Speaker: That sucks because I was really hoping I'd be able to type in like destinyruleswithaz.net or some shit like that and be able to pull up the whole game.
Speaker: It's just like, here it is!
Speaker: Not quite.
Speaker: No, all it is is like that dinosaur game when you have no internet connection and you hit the space bar.
Speaker: You know, you can download that now.
Speaker: It's just a downloadable thing that you can do now.
Speaker: I mean, it makes sense.
Speaker: And it's nice to have, especially considering that my internet hates me.
Speaker: And speaking of things that we hate doing, Lyle,
Speaker: I've got something that I want to ask you.
Speaker: You said that you had a special thing for us today.
Speaker: So yeah, so those of you out there that grew up with SpongeBob or maybe didn't grow up with SpongeBob and just love SpongeBob, but you know that iconic, that Pinnacle, that iconic and Pinnacle episode.
Speaker: where Squidward needed to up show his whatever, cousin, friend, I don't remember.
Speaker: William Fancyson, dude.
Speaker: I couldn't remember what the relationship was.
Speaker: I didn't know if they were like... It's his rival from band class, Squilliam Fancyson.
Speaker: Let me guess, you're a cashier.
Speaker: I love the idea that it's his cousin.
Speaker: So Squidward takes up the responsibility of putting on this halftime show, and SpongeBob and crew come together, and they blow not only everyone in the Super Bowl away, but they...
Speaker: They blow Squidward fucking away with how well they practiced and performed.
Speaker: And we're getting a CGI redoing of it for this year's Super Bowl, for Nickelodeon's Super Bowl broadcast.
Speaker: So if you're familiar with what I'm talking about,
Speaker: By all means, this is, we're not paid by Nickelodeon.
Speaker: I wish we were a Nickelodeon sponsor.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Right.
Speaker: That's two weeks old.
Speaker: I don't know why I'm trying to drink that.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Nickelodeon sponsor us.
Speaker: Fuck.
Speaker: Nickelodeon sponsor.
Speaker: No longer, no longer viable.
Speaker: No longer viable sponsorship.
Speaker: Shit.
Speaker: Well, yeah, no, that was the news that I wanted to put out to the masses.
Speaker: Like that's, it's very nostalgic for me, at least.
Speaker: I definitely want to be, to be watching that.
Speaker: It's CGI.
Speaker: So, I mean,
Speaker: I'm not a fan of CGI, but it's something that's still going to be fun to watch.
Speaker: A couple of years ago, they teased and then just kind of blue balled the entirety of the world with it.
Speaker: Yeah, that's probably why they're doing this.
Speaker: A couple of years ago.
Speaker: And then they even started the sequence of it on the Super Bowl Live.
Speaker: And then Travis Scott shows up.
Speaker: Wait, no, it wasn't Travis Scott.
Speaker: I'm pretty sure it was Travis Scott.
Speaker: No, it was Maroon 5, wasn't it?
Speaker: No.
Speaker: This dude shows up in a meteorite and completely just starts playing sicko mode.
Speaker: Are you sure that wasn't on Fortnite?
Speaker: No.
Speaker: Travis Scott did have an event, yes.
Speaker: But we're not counting that.
Speaker: This is his Super Bowl football.
Speaker: So how do I watch the Super Bowl on Fortnite?
Speaker: I mean...
Speaker: The same way that you play Destiny in a Google Chrome extension.
Speaker: Oh, okay.
Speaker: Same shit.
Speaker: Fortnightruleswithaz.net.org.
Speaker: Fortnight.gov if you want to be really safe.
Speaker: SpongebobSuperbowlHalftimeShow.net.
Speaker: Got it.
Speaker: Slash Nickelodeon slash butt sex.
Speaker: Oh.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: Anyway.
Speaker: On the topic of choices, because we all have a choice.
Speaker: Lyle, you had a choice as to whether or not to say that.
Speaker: And I made my decision.
Speaker: And that's fine.
Speaker: And that's fine.
Speaker: And I appreciate that, that quick decision-making style that you have there, no decision fatigue whatsoever.
Speaker: I can't see it on your face.
Speaker: Um, gentlemen, the, the topic that we have for today, let me pull up my, my notes here.
Speaker: Um, gentlemen, I have gathered from across the internet in two windows tabs, um,
Speaker: A series of questions.
Speaker: A series of questions.
Speaker: And I wanted to bring those to you guys today.
Speaker: We're going to be talking about dilemmas.
Speaker: We're going to be talking about hard choices, difficult things to come to grasp with.
Speaker: Like death.
Speaker: Like death.
Speaker: And whether or not you would play a certain game for the rest of your life and every other game on that list would disappear.
Speaker: Ladies and gentlemen.
Speaker: So things slightly less serious.
Speaker: This is essentially just a gaming would you rather.
Speaker: Essentially.
Speaker: I just so very quickly before we move on at all.
Speaker: I just need to let you guys know I was muted that entire time.
Speaker: I was starting to get kind of concerned.
Speaker: How much have you said?
Speaker: Not enough.
Speaker: I thought you were just being quiet.
Speaker: I couldn't even tell you were talking.
Speaker: Well, that's concerning, buddy.
Speaker: I guess we're just going with it.
Speaker: Hey, if you can figure out exactly what I was saying, you're going to be commenter of the week.
Speaker: There you go.
Speaker: Whoever can go back for the past five to ten minutes and read Matt's lips through the entire thing and tell us what you're saying.
Speaker: Give us a totally accurate transcript.
Speaker: And we'll use it for subtitles for him.
Speaker: That would be a transliteration, technically.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Give us a totally accurate transliteration of Matt's words.
Speaker: So...
Speaker: any who come on dan what are we doing today we're doing a would you rather god damn it okay so gentlemen i'm gonna post you some questions and y'all are gonna give me your opinions and we gotta come to a consensus by the end of the question and we're gonna try and get through as many of these as we possibly can okay so gentlemen i have a question for you okay what do you
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Rather, please.
Speaker: Anyway, would you rather play games that challenge you mentally or would you rather play games that challenge you physically?
Speaker: So is this like playing Dark Souls versus playing like Ring Fit Adventure?
Speaker: Yes.
Speaker: Would you rather play Dark Souls for the rest of your life or Ring Fit Adventure for the rest of your life?
Speaker: What if we're already mentally challenged?
Speaker: Well, then go with the ring fit, goddammit, because it doesn't require that much.
Speaker: You just got to squeeze ring.
Speaker: Also edit that out.
Speaker: So, Dan, I have an answer for you from me.
Speaker: Thank you, Matt.
Speaker: The guy that likes to play things in virtual reality a lot of the time.
Speaker: So that's a bit of a physical challenge in a lot of senses.
Speaker: I don't know if you guys have ever had the chance to play Pistol Whip, but it is literally the best challenge
Speaker: VR experience that you can have as like a general consumer right now.
Speaker: Now, if you have like an omnidirectional treadmill and you can just walk across the entirety of the maps of Skyrim, then yeah, yeah, you're having a better time than me, but still, daggone, that game is intense.
Speaker: That is pretty much how I get my cardio.
Speaker: I just put it on full brawler mode so you can't actually shoot anything and you have to constantly, oh, and bullet hell mode.
Speaker: You said it's called pistol whip?
Speaker: Have you ever seen it?
Speaker: Okay, so... No, I'm looking at it.
Speaker: No, don't even look it up.
Speaker: Check this out.
Speaker: You've seen... Okay, well then I guess I'll go fuck myself.
Speaker: Go fuck yourself, Dan, and just listen to the words that I'm saying right now.
Speaker: Googling things never works out well, alright?
Speaker: Just take it at word value.
Speaker: We've learned this.
Speaker: Chad, is this real?
Speaker: 69.99.
Speaker: Yeah, so this game.
Speaker: You guys know...
Speaker: You know that game with the swords and it's got the music and everything?
Speaker: Fuck, laser... Beat Saber.
Speaker: Yeah, Skyrim.
Speaker: Yeah, Beat Saber.
Speaker: It's the same thing as that, except instead of swords, you have two guns.
Speaker: Or one gun, depending on the settings.
Speaker: Oh, no, I've seen this.
Speaker: It's amazing.
Speaker: It's so good.
Speaker: They've got a lot of really good songs on there.
Speaker: Yeah, it looks cool.
Speaker: Is this just a VR version of Metal Hellsinger?
Speaker: I don't know what that is.
Speaker: Do you know what that is?
Speaker: I know what that is, but I don't think it's like that.
Speaker: It's a shooting-based rhythm game, but it sounds like it's just in VR.
Speaker: Metal Hellsinger is Doom, but...
Speaker: It's really well set up to just for you to make your own settings work exactly for you.
Speaker: You can figure out exactly where the gun should sit in your hand in comparison to the controller that you're having or you're holding on to.
Speaker: And it's just a lot of fun.
Speaker: From what I understand, it's like a set path.
Speaker: Yeah, it's just a set path.
Speaker: You can walk around in the space that you're in.
Speaker: It's like a really long walking...
Speaker: Like a rail walking escalator.
Speaker: Is that what that's called?
Speaker: Or walking sidewalk.
Speaker: That's what it is.
Speaker: A horizontal escalator or a non-olator.
Speaker: A horse-olator.
Speaker: That's a Wonka Vader, my dude.
Speaker: Wonka Vader.
Speaker: That man said it can go sideways, long ways, short ways.
Speaker: As much as I love that game and I love the physical challenge of that game, I prefer to be mentally challenged.
Speaker: Man.
Speaker: Uh... Oh, fuck, you're making me have to work now!
Speaker: Jesus!
Speaker: Uh... Man, for, like, episode 50, I want to do, like, a best of.
Speaker: I really do.
Speaker: Like, if we get to, like, a big milestone, I want to do, like, an out-of-context type shit, you feel me?
Speaker: Keep a separate folder of this stuff, then.
Speaker: Oh, yeah.
Speaker: No, I got you, my dude.
Speaker: No, that one you have to keep in.
Speaker: All right.
Speaker: Ladies and gentlemen, we're going to take a second to process how Matt's challenges affect him.
Speaker: We'll be right back after this commercial break.
Speaker: Okay, so there is a lot of challenge in that game, Pistol Whip.
Speaker: But I think one of the things that I like about it the most is actually...
Speaker: having to think about where I need to be looking next to be able to shoot the enemy that's gonna shoot at me before they even can.
Speaker: I love the combination, which is one of the reasons why I love that game, but there's plenty of stuff like that in games that aren't physically challenging.
Speaker: Steger, you fucking good, man.
Speaker: Please ignore me.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: I will do.
Speaker: That sounds about right.
Speaker: I'm replaying it over and over.
Speaker: I prefer to be challenged strategically with my brain.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: There's nothing wrong with that.
Speaker: Matt, I feel like, I don't know if you have played it yet.
Speaker: I don't know that if you, I'm sure you've seen it.
Speaker: I feel like that you would get a kick out of super hot.
Speaker: Yes.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: No, super.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Super hot.
Speaker: Have you seen that you can do that in VR?
Speaker: Yep.
Speaker: Yeah, Super Hot Fire.
Speaker: I think that's originally how it was meant to be played, wasn't it?
Speaker: No, originally it was a browser game.
Speaker: No, it was a PC game.
Speaker: Yeah, it was a browser game.
Speaker: Oh, it was a browser game?
Speaker: I didn't know that.
Speaker: Wow, I didn't know that.
Speaker: Came to consoles and then it was VR.
Speaker: Yeah, it was a really good game.
Speaker: I saw that and I just assumed it was for VR.
Speaker: Like, it just seemed like it was made for it.
Speaker: It definitely felt like a VR game and it felt like it would translate really well as soon as the technology caught up.
Speaker: Did anybody else feel like, I mean, we'll move away from VR here in a second, but did anybody else feel like
Speaker: like watching Mirror's Edge, the free running parkour game.
Speaker: Mirror's Edge was cool.
Speaker: Did anybody else watch or like play that game and think, man, this would be really cool in VR?
Speaker: Not at the time, but looking back on it, yeah.
Speaker: I mean, nowadays, yeah.
Speaker: No, I'm the exact opposite, Lyle.
Speaker: But back then, it would be like that Spider-Man experience.
Speaker: At the time, I looked at it and I was like, that'd be so cool to be able to like...
Speaker: do that in VR, like essentially.
Speaker: But for some reason, I just didn't consider the fact that you would need physical objects to jump off of.
Speaker: So it just makes it, it doesn't work out.
Speaker: I mean, I'm sure that there's a way to do it.
Speaker: I mean, if you had a massive warehouse.
Speaker: I mean, I played a VR game where you literally jump out of a plane and I was terrified.
Speaker: Have you really?
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: So one of my first experiences with VR was... It sounds like we're just getting off the rails, which is fine.
Speaker: I don't... Whatever.
Speaker: You know what?
Speaker: Story time.
Speaker: One of my first experiences with VR was I was in the military.
Speaker: I was in tech school.
Speaker: And one of my roommates down the hall had a VR headset.
Speaker: And he had the whole setup where you had the... Oh, the full body tracking?
Speaker: The sensors.
Speaker: Well, yeah, the sensors that went on different...
Speaker: It wasn't just sit down and be in VR.
Speaker: You could stand up and you could stand up and it would like track exactly full body.
Speaker: It wouldn't track like elbows.
Speaker: But yeah, I know what you mean back in that time that I don't think full body tracking.
Speaker: That's cool.
Speaker: My first my first VR headset I ever got was the HTC Vive and I had the one like I got tripods that had like sensors, sensor blocks.
Speaker: The only reason I can't use it now is because one of the blocks needs to get sent in to get fixed.
Speaker: Yeah, that's really cool.
Speaker: Back to my story.
Speaker: So my first experience with VR, at least for that, was that he had me playing this World War II game.
Speaker: What are you pointing at?
Speaker: That's his VR headset.
Speaker: No, the VR headset is here.
Speaker: The sensor is here.
Speaker: Oh, okay.
Speaker: That's really cool.
Speaker: Back to Steege's story.
Speaker: You could have ignored it the whole time.
Speaker: Okay, I'm sorry now.
Speaker: Wait, Morty's got something to say.
Speaker: Yeah, doesn't he always?
Speaker: fuck was i talking about skydiving the guy with the guy with the guy with the yeah so it was like a world war ii game where you jumped out of a plane as like a paratrooper yeah and and dude with the headphones on and the the the headset on and everything it felt it's so totally tricks your brain literally
Speaker: the first thing you do is you're on a plane like a like a troop drop plane and the door opens and yeah sure you can't feel the air or the movement or anything like that but visually speaking and audibly speaking you that thing opens up and you look down and it's air below you and grounds like 500 feet down and you're like holy shit
Speaker: Like, it's crazy.
Speaker: But I mean, I did it.
Speaker: I jumped out and, you know, didn't fall.
Speaker: I know.
Speaker: I'm so brave.
Speaker: I was really hoping.
Speaker: I'm so brave.
Speaker: Fully expecting this to be a skydiving experience, not a paratrooping thing.
Speaker: You were just like, oh, yeah, yeah.
Speaker: You could see like crops and farmlands.
Speaker: And there's my instructor.
Speaker: I mean, you could.
Speaker: Most of them are on fire.
Speaker: But, you know, it tricks you.
Speaker: And you actually you think you're jumping out of the plane, but then you jump in real life.
Speaker: And it's like when you miss a step going up.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: You just jump and you crumble into the ground.
Speaker: But then you land and you shoot things with a sniper rifle.
Speaker: It was kind of cool.
Speaker: This man jumps out of a plane and instead of having fun playing tennis in the air with his skydiving instructor, he's just like, oh, there's some clouds?
Speaker: That's the entirety of D-Day.
Speaker: That's Normandy.
Speaker: Oh.
Speaker: I can see people filming Saving Private Ryan down there.
Speaker: Let's go.
Speaker: Hey, it's Tom Hanks.
Speaker: Oh, my God, Tom Hanks.
Speaker: I am suppressing the urge to go on a tangent here, and I just want to say that.
Speaker: Steed's already started, man.
Speaker: Would you rather stay on topic or have a hug?
Speaker: I'm essentially asking for permission to go on another tangent that may just completely devolve into more tangents between us.
Speaker: Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to mention for the record that episode 20 had a purpose and a topic.
Speaker: How do we feel about just saying fuck it and having fun with our friends?
Speaker: That's what this podcast is all about, right?
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Would you rather stay on topic and be lame or have fun with your friends?
Speaker: Like, comment, subscribe.
Speaker: Matt, what's your tangent?
Speaker: Have you guys ever seen the movie Fandango?
Speaker: Not the ticket website.
Speaker: I know the ticket website.
Speaker: I know the game, the Grim Fandango.
Speaker: Not quite.
Speaker: Okay, sorry.
Speaker: Matt, tell us what it is.
Speaker: We were talking about skydiving.
Speaker: I don't know if you guys know this.
Speaker: I probably mentioned at some point before that I have...
Speaker: a relatively significant amount of skydiving experience over the course of my life.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: 200 or 300.
Speaker: I did not know that actually.
Speaker: Actually, no, I don't even know.
Speaker: It's been a long time since I've been in the sport, but I grew up with it.
Speaker: My dad was a skydiving instructor.
Speaker: He jumped good.
Speaker: I loved going with him to the drop zone and stuff.
Speaker: And a lot of my... I could... A lot of my movie history is... Of the movies that I watched when I was a kid...
Speaker: I know a lot about while you were skydiving.
Speaker: I said we're while you were skydiving.
Speaker: No, but Matt's dad is just like, son, you're old enough to join the family business of jumping out of the fucking plane.
Speaker: Yeah, basically.
Speaker: That's basically what it was.
Speaker: Too far off, honestly.
Speaker: But yeah.
Speaker: A lot of the education that I got with skydiving was watching movies that had skydiving scenes in them while my dad would break down every reason why it was either realistic or not realistic.
Speaker: And yo, it was like those YouTube videos where it's just like, yeah, breaks down.
Speaker: You should get your dad on that vocal coach.
Speaker: It's like GQ or something.
Speaker: Like, I mean, like,
Speaker: And the thing is, there's certain disciplines within skydiving that I would have to be like, I don't know where this specific discipline in skydiving is at.
Speaker: But anyway, we could do that.
Speaker: But you were talking about skydiving video games, and I was just like... And Dan's talking about just having a skydiving experience.
Speaker: And I have to describe this scene to you in Fandango because I also...
Speaker: I classify it as one of the most realistic, but also most hilarious depiction of skydiving in cinema history.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: So this was in like the, so you just want to search Fandango movie.
Speaker: By the way, it's Kurt.
Speaker: Oh, wait.
Speaker: No, not Kurt Russell.
Speaker: Who was in Dances with Wolves?
Speaker: Kevin Spacey.
Speaker: Bacon.
Speaker: A wolf.
Speaker: Fuck.
Speaker: Kevin Costner Kevin Costner is in this movie he's the lead I've never actually watched the whole movie I really only watched like anything that had to do with aviation in it so like there's a plane that flies under a bridge because he's like following directions on a road map it's fucking ridiculous but there's a point where like these these guys they've either just graduated college or something and
Speaker: And they're going on like a bit of a road trip.
Speaker: And like one of them is like kind of being picked on because he did something wrong or something.
Speaker: And essentially like for him to make up for what he did, he now has to go skydiving at this random fucking place in the desert that they stopped at.
Speaker: And the way that this kind of comes back to video games is because if this was a VR experience for a video game, this...
Speaker: Again, it would be hilarious, and it would fit that wacky nature of VR that we already have.
Speaker: Anyway, this is in, I think, the 60s or 70s, or late 70s, early 80s, maybe.
Speaker: The movie came out in 85.
Speaker: Skydiving has become a lot... It came out in 85?
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: So it was pretty much a product of its time then, I think.
Speaker: And...
Speaker: Skydiving has come a lot.
Speaker: It's come a very long way.
Speaker: And it's gotten a lot more organized.
Speaker: But back in the day, it was literally just like, I've got a plane and a parachute.
Speaker: If you'd like to jump out, pay me money.
Speaker: The whole training sequence is just... It's one of those really...
Speaker: long explanations of, okay, so we're gonna get up to about 5,000 feet and then you're gonna open the door, it's gonna come open and you're gonna climb right out, I'm gonna hook up the static line, you're gonna go out and you're gonna go, and it's like something frog position, I can't remember what exactly it is, but it's literally all of the words that he said were right.
Speaker: But there was, he didn't get it at all.
Speaker: You're gonna jump out of the fucking plane.
Speaker: All right, just swan dive out.
Speaker: Don't worry about your parachute.
Speaker: So spoilers, he took the parachute that contained laundry and not a parachute.
Speaker: Cause that's a good place for your laundry.
Speaker: And then he has to pull his reserve and he's just like, he's just falling.
Speaker: Like, I don't know what the hell's going on.
Speaker: And he's like, look at the D ring on your belly.
Speaker: Pull it.
Speaker: And like, and he just, he just pulls some shit out from his back and it's just a, an umbrella with holes in it.
Speaker: Was his reserve lunch?
Speaker: No, no, his reserve worked, but I'm pretty sure they actually filmed because they used to do this.
Speaker: They used to have low pole competitions and people got really good at being able to pull at a very low altitude.
Speaker: And like nowadays that's that you would.
Speaker: That's what I call masturbating.
Speaker: Nowadays, you'd probably be banned from your skydiving center because they have their specific laws and depending on what you're doing anyway.
Speaker: But.
Speaker: Back in the day, you could just fucking do it because you just had this round fucking parachute you got like in a military surplus store.
Speaker: You can just jump out and hope it fucking works.
Speaker: Anyway, yeah.
Speaker: Yeah, he opened a couple hundred feet off the ground and landed within seconds.
Speaker: So and I'm pretty sure they filmed that for real.
Speaker: But anyway, yeah, to get back to a little bit of video gaming, VR as a game, I think that would that that scene.
Speaker: Oh, we're back.
Speaker: Nice.
Speaker: Would be really well implemented.
Speaker: I feel like a lot of people could recreate that scene with decent accuracy, considering the fact that it was what it looks like is that it was just a dude with a camcorder that was just like, all right, this is part of the scene.
Speaker: I'm not lying to you.
Speaker: We are currently actually for realsies in a plane.
Speaker: This guy has never done this before.
Speaker: we're going to do this secretly so he has no idea that he's got the laundry bag.
Speaker: It's just a big fucking movie for jackass that no one knows it.
Speaker: It's Ashton Kutcher's resurgence into Punk'd.
Speaker: You didn't know, but everything they did in that movie was completely real.
Speaker: It's just like some Andy Kaufman shit.
Speaker: and that's why, uh, nobody tell Tom Cruise.
Speaker: That's why I'm going to reel us back into the next question.
Speaker: I know that we're not on the topics anymore.
Speaker: Um, but gentlemen, I have a question for you.
Speaker: Me too.
Speaker: Um, have you guys ever played the sequel to, uh, to mirror's edge, uh, mirrors, goon mirrors, goon, mirrors, goon too.
Speaker: We're going to cut that out.
Speaker: All right.
Speaker: No.
Speaker: Question.
Speaker: Gamers.
Speaker: That was an effort.
Speaker: Gentlemen, I have a question for you.
Speaker: I'm commending the effort, Steve.
Speaker: That was good.
Speaker: No, I liked it, but Jesus fucking Christ.
Speaker: Would you gentlemen rather play games that have come out in the last 10 years or games that are 10 years and older for the rest of your lives?
Speaker: 10 years and older.
Speaker: Hands down.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Hands down.
Speaker: The rest of my life.
Speaker: Oh man.
Speaker: That's Hades.
Speaker: Isn't 10 years old.
Speaker: No, sir.
Speaker: Oh no.
Speaker: So that, what else do I have?
Speaker: It would be the last 10 years and then also into the future.
Speaker: Anything.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: I mean, I guess.
Speaker: So let's say 10 years after this year.
Speaker: So from here into the year, 2034 or 2014 and back.
Speaker: 2034 is when I retire from the military.
Speaker: Anyway.
Speaker: Alright, give it up for his retirement date.
Speaker: Thank you for your service.
Speaker: So everything from 2014 to 2034 or everything from 2014 and back.
Speaker: Yes, sir.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: You could be caveman drawing on wall and make first pong.
Speaker: Destiny 1 was in Mario still.
Speaker: Back in 2014?
Speaker: I think so, yeah.
Speaker: Back whenever they had like...
Speaker: 12 or 2013 I think it came out.
Speaker: Do y'all remember all of the crappy Mario mods like the Rage version of the game and the one that they had like the portal guns and shit?
Speaker: Do you remember what I'm talking about?
Speaker: It was like different versions of the game.
Speaker: Of what game?
Speaker: Mario 64?
Speaker: No, the original Super Mario Bros.
Speaker: I think I remember a version of Mario 64, Mario, Super Mario World that was made into like a Flash game that had portals but it was also, I mean obviously fan made and then
Speaker: uh it was also like super gory like mario would jump into a portal and it would intentionally drop him into spikes and he would just explode into like pixelated blood yeah yeah it was very happy wheels ask and um that was very early 2000 wheels was yeah that's happy tree friends for sure that sounds like something i'd play on a flash game website in 2004 grounds e-bombs world yeah
Speaker: Fucking albino black sheep.
Speaker: Fucking game geckoshitgames.net.
Speaker: Did I just unlock a core memory for you?
Speaker: No, no, no.
Speaker: I had a realization that we really didn't have battle passes before 2014.
Speaker: Battle passes and micro transactions were maybe on mobile and that's it.
Speaker: That you had to unlock.
Speaker: Well, I was going to say microtransactions were definitely on mobile by that point for sure, but probably not to the extent they are now.
Speaker: And yeah, battle passes were not very much a thing.
Speaker: That's what we were talking about last time.
Speaker: The fact that like Fortnite really started the battle pass trends.
Speaker: I mean, they may not have been the first one to do it.
Speaker: I can't remember, but I remember like, I remember going into target and buying a multiplayer map pack.
Speaker: like a physical multiplayer map pack for halo two.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Like that, that shit came on a disc.
Speaker: That shit came in a game case.
Speaker: Like, no, it wasn't like an Xbox.
Speaker: But when I do that, they kick me out of GameStop.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: What are you on about?
Speaker: Why are they kicking you out of GameStop?
Speaker: I was not paying attention.
Speaker: I got a general, of course you're right.
Speaker: He was, uh, doing something lewd.
Speaker: Um,
Speaker: oh i used to work at gamestop by the way god damn it these are great like why are you i'm giving you guys comedy gold um hey we all have we all have nights and we all the first person that defends stage on everything he's said tonight and we actually feel your vibe you will be commenter of the week
Speaker: Um, so please defend him as much as you can for the countless terrible things he has said this episode that I may or may not be.
Speaker: I take the killer to include the indecent exposure in GameStop.
Speaker: So question gamers, I have another question here for you.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: If you were to choose between two very common video game abilities, um,
Speaker: Would you rather be able to regenerate health at a certain point after you've taken enough damage to yourself?
Speaker: This is in real life.
Speaker: Or would you be able to fast travel?
Speaker: Ooh.
Speaker: Regenerate health.
Speaker: No, I wouldn't do regenerate health because we already technically have some capability of regenerating health.
Speaker: It's just really... It's been nerfed.
Speaker: It's been nerfed real hard.
Speaker: We already do have our own versions of fast traveling.
Speaker: It's driving versus walking.
Speaker: I would absolutely go with fast travel.
Speaker: I could use it anytime, anytime...
Speaker: Dude, you know how much more of a social person I would be?
Speaker: I would be so much less just stuck in a certain place.
Speaker: Yeah, that's like my main problem in life right now is like I'm at a place with people that I don't know or not.
Speaker: And I could just immediately go to to there to somewhere that would be better where people are.
Speaker: Well, you see, it's not just teleportation.
Speaker: It's fast travel.
Speaker: So it can only be to places.
Speaker: That's fucking fine.
Speaker: And I figured that would be fine.
Speaker: I just wanted to make sure that.
Speaker: Yeah, no, if I if I really know, no, that's really good.
Speaker: You have to wait through loading.
Speaker: It's a good point.
Speaker: But hey, to get back to get past that, I would just I would just get a couple places you get.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Does the does the drop a thousand dollars?
Speaker: Does the health regen also include stamina?
Speaker: Because stamina also regions at an abnormal rate in games.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: OK, so I could essentially just to give an example, I could essentially like be in the middle of my PT test, my physical fitness test in the military, like sprint, like dead sprint a lap around the track.
Speaker: Stop for like three seconds as my stamina meter refills.
Speaker: And then, boom, be ready to go 100% for the next lap.
Speaker: Essentially, yeah.
Speaker: Okay, alright.
Speaker: I'm still choosing the health.
Speaker: I guess I'm just trying to think of things to help mitigate that.
Speaker: Because, in theory, would you say that it would be good to consider energy drinks as a stamina potion?
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Like you pop a monster energy and all of a sudden you got a little bit of an extra bar on the on the stamina meter at the very end.
Speaker: Could be.
Speaker: Could that also imply that I could do like that he does in Majora's Mask where he he he buys the special milk at the milk bar and you drink it and you have infinite magic.
Speaker: infinite for how long?
Speaker: Until you reset time and go back three days in the past.
Speaker: Jesus Christ.
Speaker: He drinks, it's called Chateau Romani, he drinks the special milk and his milk bar his mommy milkers his magic bar starts instead of being green, it glows blue and white.
Speaker: You can essentially go to any boss, put on the Fierce Deity mask which consumes magic and never run out.
Speaker: Personally, I think I'd rather fast travel, mostly due to the fact that I like the idea of as the order that you get, the loading screen you have to watch gets slower.
Speaker: I just think that that's funny.
Speaker: You start out as an infant and you're just like, all right, I want to go to the crib.
Speaker: And it's just like, bam, it's like PS5 loading times.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Um, and then once you're like 15, it's just like, all right, I want to go to my girl's house and you got to wait 20 seconds.
Speaker: I feel like, and it gives you a little tips down in the bottom, right?
Speaker: The fast traveling could, could essentially be like how it was when we were younger.
Speaker: You know, you get home from school and you just show up to your friend's house, knocking on their door and they're like, Oh, I wasn't expecting you today.
Speaker: Oh, you want to come play video games?
Speaker: Sure.
Speaker: Hey, you fast travel.
Speaker: You don't even give them a heads up.
Speaker: You just like,
Speaker: I just show up to Matt's door tomorrow.
Speaker: And he's like, fuck, I got work tomorrow.
Speaker: What are you doing?
Speaker: Let's make that normal again.
Speaker: I was just trying to say hello.
Speaker: I'll call out sick.
Speaker: Let's show up to friends' houses.
Speaker: Yeah, unannounced and unexpected.
Speaker: I am lonely.
Speaker: I am so fucking lonely.
Speaker: Let's all call into work tomorrow because of a snow day.
Speaker: Let's all get landline phones, too.
Speaker: The little spinny dial ones, yeah.
Speaker: Let's do it.
Speaker: Let's buy 100 acres of forest land and make a commune and just get landlines.
Speaker: Let's do Minecraft in real life.
Speaker: Have we come to a consensus?
Speaker: The consensus, I think, is double jump would be better than either of those.
Speaker: Ooh, double jump.
Speaker: Well, that's not the question, but it might be the next question.
Speaker: Everyone but me wants the fast travel.
Speaker: I didn't even get to fucking talk, so okay, everyone.
Speaker: So, Dan, next question.
Speaker: Fuck you.
Speaker: Fuck you.
Speaker: Start talking to them, Steej.
Speaker: Make your case.
Speaker: Listen, all I want in my life is to be like the super realistic shooter games where you get shot a bunch of times to the point where your screen is glowing red with blood dripping down.
Speaker: And you just breathe a couple times and you're like...
Speaker: I'm good.
Speaker: And you're good.
Speaker: You're just healed.
Speaker: I like the idea of it.
Speaker: It's just like how it is in Red Dead.
Speaker: Or no, not Red Dead.
Speaker: Jesus Christ.
Speaker: Resident Evil 7.
Speaker: Resident Dead.
Speaker: Oh yeah, you just pour the liquid and then your severed hand is automatically healed.
Speaker: That's the thing.
Speaker: Every single injury that this dude has he gets his arm chopped off a ton of times in this game, by the way, for those of you who haven't played it.
Speaker: Like a ton of times.
Speaker: I was like, it's literally one time.
Speaker: No, no, no.
Speaker: In the amount of games that he's been in, it's happened a handful of times.
Speaker: A handful?
Speaker: A handful, yes, exactly.
Speaker: Ethan's only been in two Resident Evil games.
Speaker: This man stubs his toe and he's just like, ah, ah.
Speaker: Let me pour some liquid on my hand.
Speaker: Some fucking toothpaste.
Speaker: Some hand sanitizer.
Speaker: Yeah, he gets some fucking Germ-X going and he's just like, ah, my toe's better.
Speaker: And then he stubs his other toe and he's just like, fuck, God.
Speaker: pour some and it's funny because like his hand kind of just miraculously is reattached but it looks like it just
Speaker: someone just held it there and he just took a staple gun and she was like... Yeah, no, it looks like he stitched it on for whatever reason, but it's like magical goo.
Speaker: That's amazing.
Speaker: It's stupid.
Speaker: Magical goo is the best kind of goo.
Speaker: But, like I said, Steej, how do you feel?
Speaker: How do you feel?
Speaker: Who are you?
Speaker: I know what you said, but what do you want?
Speaker: But is that what I really want?
Speaker: Is that what you really want?
Speaker: Do you want the fast travel?
Speaker: Is that what I really, really want?
Speaker: I might want the fast travel.
Speaker: You might be right, Matt.
Speaker: Both of those things would be really cool, but the idea that I could fast travel to California right now, because I've been a bunch of places over there on the other side of the country, that would be... I mean, think of how much money you're spending.
Speaker: Dan, I'm so happy you're back.
Speaker: Let's celebrate.
Speaker: I'm so happy.
Speaker: I'm back.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: Dance back.
Speaker: It's me.
Speaker: I'm back.
Speaker: Hello, everybody.
Speaker: I died.
Speaker: I died temporarily.
Speaker: You know, I, you know what?
Speaker: Since we're not doing this as a legitimate topic, I want to call out Elgato.
Speaker: Yeah, you fucks.
Speaker: I want to sit here on the On The Coded podcast and talk to Elgato.
Speaker: the company that I have a love and hate relationship.
Speaker: You love to hate them.
Speaker: My friends over at Elgato, why would you design your app, the Epoch Cam, with another company?
Speaker: Two of you are working on this shit and not make it work whatsoever.
Speaker: How does that happen?
Speaker: I want to know.
Speaker: I want to know.
Speaker: I want to have a formal letter written to at least Steve so he can read it out to me.
Speaker: In Spanish.
Speaker: I want to know why I hook up my phone because I use my phone as my camera, right?
Speaker: And that already has its own fair share of problems from the beginning.
Speaker: But I hook up my phone via USB cable.
Speaker: So it's got a direct connection to my computer, right?
Speaker: So there should be no connectivity problems.
Speaker: It's one wire, one cable.
Speaker: Why is it that there is no signal?
Speaker: It's one cable.
Speaker: I can understand if there was two or three.
Speaker: I can understand if I was over the Wi-Fi, which always sucks.
Speaker: But it's one.
Speaker: It's an Apple cable, something that has always been relatively reliable until it dissolves into dust like every charger cable I've ever had.
Speaker: Sounds like an Apple problem.
Speaker: Yeah, no, that definitely sounds like an Apple problem.
Speaker: I want to call out Apple.
Speaker: And while you're on it, I'd like to call out Logitech because I had the same fucking issue with this camera until I had to go pick up the legacy software because the new software was bullshit.
Speaker: Dude, don't I know.
Speaker: G-Hub, get rid of it.
Speaker: Go back to the old one.
Speaker: Why do we keep updating things we don't need to update?
Speaker: Stop.
Speaker: See, Matt gets me.
Speaker: Matt gets me.
Speaker: I want my sliders back.
Speaker: Dick sliders.
Speaker: Yeah, the dick sliders.
Speaker: Oh, yeah.
Speaker: The callback.
Speaker: The greatest detective of the Midwest.
Speaker: Dick sliders!
Speaker: And I'm not talking like video game dick sliders.
Speaker: I'm talking like an appetizer.
Speaker: Oh, wow.
Speaker: Your dick sliders, my lord.
Speaker: You know how many times I've gone to a restaurant and not ordered a main course and only had appetizers?
Speaker: Dude, sometimes that's just the better way to go.
Speaker: I've done that.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: I mean, I've done, I've done sides and appetizers.
Speaker: Once I went to Applebee's and got mozzarella sticks and fries.
Speaker: It's all about happy hour.
Speaker: A lot of the times.
Speaker: So like the restaurant I worked at before I joined the military, I'd get off work around like two and then happy hour started around four.
Speaker: So I would just stick around $4, like $4 angry orchard pints.
Speaker: And then a $4 full plate,
Speaker: It might have been like $3 or $4, but full plate of barbecue pulled pork queso nachos.
Speaker: Like with the works.
Speaker: $4.
Speaker: And it's bigger than like their plate of ribs.
Speaker: What year was this?
Speaker: Is this an employee discount type deal?
Speaker: No, no, no, no.
Speaker: This was happy hour.
Speaker: This was literally happy hour, which was only on from... This was 2013?
Speaker: Before the fall.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: more than 10 years ago.
Speaker: Oh God, there's a gray hat.
Speaker: I've got a couple.
Speaker: Every now and then, just right in front of the mirror, there's just the spattering, you know?
Speaker: yeah i've got a couple like i have ashley pull mine and since uh that's kinky um yeah since pull and tug since my hair since my hair is longer now since my i'm out of the military and i can let my hair grow longer like they're more noticeable because they're long you can see them better they're more you know that's why they make you cut your hair short so you don't realize how much time has passed
Speaker: Big government is trying to keep you from putting from showing the sun your butt.
Speaker: It's they've been doing it for years.
Speaker: You guys don't understand.
Speaker: It's just getting a New York accent.
Speaker: It happens.
Speaker: It just slips out sometimes.
Speaker: This just in big pharma doesn't want you to son.
Speaker: I'm not from New York, but I'm like Northeastern enough that it just comes out sometimes.
Speaker: Local study shows that sunbathing your nuts is like a solar powered charge as a human for hours.
Speaker: My southern self hearing about a nor'easter, I was like, the fuck, what is that?
Speaker: What does Easter have to do with the north or whatever?
Speaker: That's whenever you don't celebrate any holidays.
Speaker: You say, I don't celebrate Christmas nor Easter.
Speaker: That stage, that one, you know what?
Speaker: That was the funniest one that you've said all day.
Speaker: Thank you.
Speaker: Thank you.
Speaker: I want to ask you guys, do y'all celebrate Easter?
Speaker: What do y'all do on Easter?
Speaker: Sit my fat ass down and eat chocolate?
Speaker: It's the same as Valentine's Day, except instead of... Hell yeah, peep squad.
Speaker: Peep squad!
Speaker: What the fuck?
Speaker: Peeps are fucking delicious.
Speaker: I have come around to peeps.
Speaker: That shit is wet, soft cardboard.
Speaker: I used to be a peep hater.
Speaker: What are you talking about?
Speaker: I eat cardboard cereals for fun.
Speaker: I will never buy peeps for myself.
Speaker: But dear God, if you buy them for me, they better have a chocolate coating on the bottom and some sort of infusion with a caramel center.
Speaker: Because those ones were fucking good.
Speaker: They were probably fucking limited.
Speaker: Regular peeps.
Speaker: Give me them peepers!
Speaker: Peepers, creepers.
Speaker: How old were you guys whenever you bit into your first chocolate bunny only to find out it was hollow inside?
Speaker: Where were you in the world?
Speaker: I want to know.
Speaker: Whenever you discovered your first disappointment.
Speaker: I was probably in Bridgeville, Delaware in a house that doesn't exist anymore that was right next to a cemetery.
Speaker: Wow.
Speaker: That'll fit.
Speaker: These are the cards I've been dealt.
Speaker: At least we know it'll fit.
Speaker: laughter laughter
Speaker: Let's hope so.
Speaker: That chocolate bunny's hollow for a reason.
Speaker: Oh, God.
Speaker: Can we get an edit of every time Morty?
Speaker: I do want to mention, ladies and gentlemen, there will be a topic for next episode.
Speaker: I just feel like that we... There was a topic for this episode.
Speaker: Well, kind of.
Speaker: Sort of.
Speaker: We talked about it a little bit.
Speaker: I think it's nice sometimes to just kind of fucking let loose and just talk about whatever we got going on.
Speaker: Get loose.
Speaker: Next time I host, I'm going to give you guys a topic.
Speaker: Full frontal nudity?
Speaker: Thoughts?
Speaker: I'm going to give a topic next time I host and then just leave.
Speaker: And then you guys can have at it.
Speaker: Alright, I'm recording.
Speaker: Everybody's recording?
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: And today's topic.
Speaker: Alright, see ya.
Speaker: Alright, goodbye.
Speaker: Oh, were we committing?
Speaker: Oh, I hadn't committed.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: And this is why my friends leave me.
Speaker: It happens all the time.
Speaker: We all live in a world.
Speaker: Wow, this is your show now.
Speaker: A deep, dark, pitiless void where no one loves you.
Speaker: Everyone abandons you.
Speaker: But you know what?
Speaker: There's a light.
Speaker: There's a silver lining.
Speaker: They all come back.
Speaker: Oh, good.
Speaker: You guys, Matt's gone.
Speaker: We can talk shit about Matt now.
Speaker: I think we should just cut it.
Speaker: And that's the silver lining I was talking about.
Speaker: I think that's just the end of the episode.
Speaker: There's a little... Wait a minute.
Speaker: There's a little nugget in there.
Speaker: Or we can cut back.
Speaker: Look at the bottom of the screen.
Speaker: Matt's down there.
Speaker: Yeah, I know.
Speaker: There's a nugget in there for whoever edits.
Speaker: Matt, come up.
Speaker: You can keep that in, but just have us just cut back to being here.
Speaker: Oh, yeah, yeah.
Speaker: Oh, Matt, did you have your headphones on the whole time?
Speaker: No.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: Aw, damn.
Speaker: We didn't talk shit about you.
Speaker: Ladies and gentlemen, I have another question for you if we want to continue on with our topic.
Speaker: You know what?
Speaker: Give us one more.
Speaker: We've been talking about it the whole time.
Speaker: Give us one more, Dan.
Speaker: Give us one more to take us out.
Speaker: All right.
Speaker: Two more.
Speaker: So this one's going to be a doozy.
Speaker: Take me the fuck out.
Speaker: This one's going to be a doozy, gamers.
Speaker: Is this the Slack question?
Speaker: Please don't let it be the Slack question.
Speaker: No, it's not.
Speaker: I'll tell you later.
Speaker: Don't worry about it.
Speaker: Would you rather play video games centered around a sport than
Speaker: Or would you rather go outside and play that sport yourself?
Speaker: Go outside.
Speaker: Play the sport myself.
Speaker: Why?
Speaker: Because I just don't play sport games in general.
Speaker: That's why I don't play sport games now.
Speaker: I prefer to go out and play soccer.
Speaker: Why?
Speaker: Because I love soccer.
Speaker: Because I've been playing soccer since I was three.
Speaker: See, the difference between Lyle and the rest of us is Lyle is actually athletic.
Speaker: You beat me to it there, Steej.
Speaker: I'm going to be a thousand percent.
Speaker: I didn't have a question that was going to be a real doozy.
Speaker: So if y'all want to come up with a question for me so I can answer, that'd be dope.
Speaker: Would you rather?
Speaker: I mean, you could have added to any of the questions.
Speaker: Would you rather watch a porno with your parents or of your parents?
Speaker: Hmm.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: All right.
Speaker: You know what?
Speaker: This is fine.
Speaker: This is fine.
Speaker: This is supposed to be about video games.
Speaker: I thought.
Speaker: Well, he asked if I had a question for my game, a question.
Speaker: Well, Matt, what if it starts with them playing video games and they were just like, if you lose, you get a fuck.
Speaker: They're playing strip Mario Kart.
Speaker: Strip Mario Kart.
Speaker: This would be really weird considering my parents are divorced.
Speaker: So I'm just going to go ahead and negate the entire thing.
Speaker: You bring them always divorced.
Speaker: You bring them together on Christmas Eve and you pop in the VHS.
Speaker: I was this many.
Speaker: Brown chicken, brown cow.
Speaker: So... I was this many beers in when it happened.
Speaker: No, I'm only like this plus a little bit of
Speaker: Ladies and gentlemen, I want to thank you all for being here for episode 20.
Speaker: For episode 20.
Speaker: This is the most unhinged episode.
Speaker: Guys, I want to thank you all for being here for episode 20.
Speaker: I'm glad that we had the whole gang back together for episode 20.
Speaker: Yeah, this was nice.
Speaker: It made a lot of things right in my head, in both heads, honestly.
Speaker: We're not going to talk about that.
Speaker: And a little to the left.
Speaker: Don't worry about what that was.
Speaker: A fucking earthquake?
Speaker: Peyton comes in again.
Speaker: We'll find out.
Speaker: Next episode.
Speaker: We'll find out whether or not I'll pass out from blood loss.
Speaker: Oh, okay.
Speaker: in a good way yeah in a good way it's all going to a certain area um ladies and gentlemen i want to i want to thank you for sticking with us i don't know why you have yeah i'm gonna be a thousand percent listening or watching but uh if you're still listening if you're still here at episode 20 thanks especially at the end of this episode 20
Speaker: Especially at the end of this episode because we've done everything terrible except for say things that'll get us off the title.
Speaker: This episode is barely about video games.
Speaker: Take that W and run.
Speaker: Oh, there's that one Xbox 360 game Naughty Bears.
Speaker: I don't know if you've ever seen it.
Speaker: Oh, you play as like a giant stuffed animal bear and you go around with like machetes and different weapons hacking at other stuffed animal bears.
Speaker: That sounds fucking awesome.
Speaker: No, look it up.
Speaker: Look it up.
Speaker: It's dumb as fuck.
Speaker: Naughty bear.
Speaker: Listen, strap in.
Speaker: We've got another hour.
Speaker: No, Dan, take us out before it's too late.
Speaker: Welcome to the only second post show we've ever done.
Speaker: Ladies and gentlemen, audience, we'll leave you with this.
Speaker: The one way to weird out your doctor is to pull out and put on some white gloves the same time they do.
Speaker: On that note.
Speaker: Ladies and gentlemen, I want to thank you for being here.
Speaker: I want to thank you for watching and listening for 20 whole episodes.
Speaker: Well done.
Speaker: You made it to this point.
Speaker: Jesus Christ, how have you made it this far?
Speaker: We'll see you guys in episode 21 where... Something.
Speaker: We'll be hosting the episode.
Speaker: Your parents won't be proud of you, but we will.
Speaker: And always remember and never forget
Speaker: Cut the episode there, please.
