Introduction to the Daily Manchester City Podcast

00:00:10
Global Sports Podcast Network
Hello and welcome back to Daily Manchester City Podcast on the Global Sports Podcast Network. I'm Jules Jordan-Probert and I'm delighted to be joined by Lewis Royal. Hi, Lewis.
00:00:20
Lewis
Hi

Manchester City's Form Revival

00:00:21
Lewis
Jules, how are we? It's great to be back and it's great to be back with C picking up a bit of form into the new year.
00:00:27
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, definitely. It's a lot more of a positive vibe on the Daily Manchester City podcast, as today we'll be going through all things about Manchester City, spellbinding 6-0 win away at Ipswich. The biggest win from any side of the Premier League this season, and and after the past couple of weeks, life suddenly seems a hell of a lot brighter. It was a course of difficult result last time out, dropping the two-goal lead and two points in the process, as Pep's side drew to all at Brentford, but after this result City are currently back into fourth in the league.
00:00:56
Global Sports Podcast Network
And somewhat bizarrely, considering the narrative surrounding the teams this year, City are only six points away from Forest and Arsenal. So the season is truly up and running again. And there's so many pleasing things to talk about today, Lewis. Five different goal scorers and many players looking back to their best.

Dominating Ipswich: Key Players Return

00:01:12
Global Sports Podcast Network
And we will get into many of the individuals that took Ipswich apart. But firstly, as a team, how impressed were you with that performance and what did you like from the side?
00:01:21
Lewis
Yeah, I think, obviously, we know about our terrible form before Christmas, should I say, not the Christmas break with the amount of games. But I think from the off, we just look like the old city. The way with the confidence on the ball, I mean, towards the end of the game where we were normally a bit shaken. I know it was 6-0. We were passing it about, like I said, like we used to. It was very easy, almost. I mean, Ipswich, I mean, they beat Chelsea at home a few weeks ago.
00:01:51
Lewis
the no pushovers, the the fighting for the lives to stay up obviously with back to back promotions but I think that we definitely took advantage of a difference in class it gave the chance for Pep to bring on a few youngsters as well towards the end which is always good to see and I just think that like you said a few players with the likes of De Bruyne getting back to his best, forward and picking up some form again which I think is always good to see him with a smile on his face playing with playing in While flourishing almost in attack and I think the likes of Docu were brilliant, Kovacic was fantastic and I think all around it was a solid performance and definitely one to look forward to positively come the next few

Confidence and Early Goals: A Winning Formula?

00:02:33
Lewis
weeks and months. Hopefully we can maintain it.
00:02:37
Global Sports Podcast Network
We used to take results like this for granted at City, right? You know, newly promoted team, we're expecting four, five, six, sevens.
00:02:40
Lewis
Yeah.
00:02:44
Global Sports Podcast Network
That obviously hasn't been the case at all this year. So I think that makes this performance A, more deserved and B, a lot more special because it hasn't come easy at any times. And Ipswich, like you say, have had some great performances this
00:02:55
Global Sports Podcast Network
tipped them to stay up, not so sure about that now, but they're definitely in and amongst it. and They're not outclassed as a Premier League team. So to put six on them, and it could have been 16 at the end of the day,
00:03:06
Global Sports Podcast Network
yeah loads and loads and loads of good things to look ahead for from this performance. So what was the difference between this performance and those doing that terrible run that you mentioned?
00:03:18
Lewis
I think it's, like I've mentioned before on previous episodes, it's it's all to do with the confidence in the players, it's to do with the momentum, and it's to do with having the backing of the fans as well. I think that when we we, obviously Manchester City are not expected to, we have such high standards, we're not going to take it lightly when we when we lose so many games, the fans aren't going to take it lightly. And I think that just getting a few goals at the start of games, I know Harlem missed a big one-on-one chance in the first half,
00:03:48
Lewis
But that's what we weren't doing. We weren't capitalizing on early opportunities and that led to teams getting back in the game. I mean, in the first half, it's, we still have a few chances. I think Amari Hutchinson had a few, that skimmed Harlan's head and went just over. But yeah, like I said, we, we definitely are getting more clinical like we used to be.

Star Performances: Foden, Haaland, and Kovacic

00:04:08
Lewis
And yeah, ultimately killing teams off early, which is what we used to do so well, not giving them a chance to get back into it which was like you mentioned our fault against Brentford which unfortunately ended all square
00:04:22
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, it felt like a complete performance and City took their chances. Many of the games that have been close or even and doing a terrible run, City had more than enough chances to win win when those games and win them comfortably, but they haven't done that.
00:04:36
Lewis
yeah
00:04:36
Global Sports Podcast Network
This felt like a complete performance where the strikers or the forwards were clinical as well. The defence all held 2-2. So let's talk about some of the individuals.
00:04:47
Global Sports Podcast Network
and As I mentioned, there was five different goal-scorers. Foden with a brace. Haaland got one. Kovacic got one. Dokko got one. And James Macatee got his first Premier League goal as well, which is excellent news. And he has taken his chance recently and ah with some more minutes in the team. But first, we're going to start talking about Phil Foden.

Phil Foden's Stellar 2025

00:05:08
Global Sports Podcast Network
And it's been some start to 2025 for City's homegrown star, scoring five in his last three. So talk to me about Foden, Louis. So we finally see in the Premier League player of the year back at the Sinterlet in best.
00:05:20
Lewis
Yeah, well he's got the most goals since the turn of of the new year, I think in the prems, something like that. And he's he's just four off a century of goals for City now. is remarkable. Still at the young age of 24, which I think people do forget, obviously with his player of the season, uh, award last season. And he has been around for a while now in the Premier League. It just shows the, the talent that Pep saw in him from a young age. But yesterday I thought that he just looks like I mentioned, he's playing with a smile on his face. His confidence is boosted massively. And I think that we're seeing, we are seeing the old Fodence, uh, slowly but surely coming back. I don't think it was his best game.
00:06:00
Lewis
I think that there's still certain decisions which which are wrong for me, but obviously he was given one of the match, two goals and an assist, a little layer for cover six. I actually think he took the first goal quite well. I don't think it was as easy as as it first looked. It looked like a quite an easy tap in on the turn, but I think he's he's done well. He's hit it into the ground and he he's been the is switch keeper. and i think that Yeah. He just, he just looks like a player that is, he's getting back to his best, like, like many of the team. And obviously it helps with, with the team are all being up and, uh, obviously a six nil score line definitely won't hinder him. And yeah, in, in his, uh, post-match interview, you can see, you can just see how happy he is to be, to be back playing and peps praise that and said how happy he is to see him.

Kevin De Bruyne's Comeback: Impact Analysis

00:06:47
Lewis
but with a smile on his face and hopes he can, he can maintain this, this good form.
00:06:53
Global Sports Podcast Network
And I think those smiles are shared by many City fans watching Phil play with freedom for the first time in a few months.
00:07:01
Lewis
Yeah.
00:07:02
Global Sports Podcast Network
And I think that assist for Carver Chitt was underrated too. The weight the weight of how he rolled it across was perfect for Carver Chitt to smash him first time. If it wasn't exactly at that weight, he couldn't have hit it like that.
00:07:10
Lewis
Yeah, it was.
00:07:13
Global Sports Podcast Network
So yeah, good assist, great performance by Phil Foden. I think Phil Foden at his best. often comes when Kevin De Bruyne is at his best and maybe KDB has not been at his best but you still know you're going to get five to ten class moments from him every game and both Golden Goals were set up by the Belgian by the belgian legend.
00:07:22
Lewis
yeah
00:07:34
Global Sports Podcast Network
Are you liking what you're seeing from Kev at the moment? Are we still awaiting him to come back to his best due to fitness? Or is that link something that you still think can carry a lot of damage for City this year?
00:07:42
Lewis
i'm
00:07:47
Lewis
Yeah, I think it definitely can. I mean, we all know how good De Bruyne is. It's inevitable that when he gets in that final third most of the time he does pick the pass. I think yesterday there was a few passes going astray, a few not quite to people's feet, but I think the passes in behind obviously, he kept feeling documented behind and and it's just so effective with his pace. I mean, how many times does that outside ball exchange in between Dokka and Kevin De Bruyne down that left side.
00:08:13
Global Sports Podcast Network
And and vice versa as well, right? Kevin was making those on running runs as Docu Docu and sorry misspeaking that.
00:08:18
Lewis
Yeah.
00:08:21
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, they were they were reversing and Kevin De Bruyne was running in behind and Docu was finding it with a lovely way to pass and that's how the first goal come about as well, isn't it?
00:08:28
Lewis
Yeah. That's what I'm saying. it's so It was so interchangeable between the two. I thought they both did brilliantly. And then obviously he was finding Foden. Did he find him on two occasions? I think he set up both his goals, like you said.
00:08:39
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah.
00:08:40
Lewis
And it's just, we're seeing KDB. I think yeah he's not quite at his prime. He does still look a bit sluggish, but he has come back from a long injury. He's been quite injury prone over the last few years.
00:08:50
Lewis
And I think that we're seeing, we are seeing glimpses of his best and you can, you can tell with him as well. he He's flourishing in this, in this city squad and especially against the team like Ipswich, which to him is, is beneath his quality in terms of,
00:09:05
Lewis
quality in it switches defence and midfield, he said himself that he feels like he's getting fitter, so hopefully he can just keep getting fitter and maybe add some goals to his assist this season. I think he's got six in all competitions this season for City, which is second, would you believe, on the list with the amount of games he's played. So yeah, it's very impressive and and we all love ah all look the Belgium.
00:09:30
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, of course, he's an output machine and maybe the opposite of the last few seasons, he can actually play himself into fitness towards the end of the season, as opposed to playing himself out as he normally does to get the side over the line.
00:09:39
Lewis
Yeah.
00:09:44
Global Sports Podcast Network
that We'll take a short break there and when we come back, we'll talk a a bit more about some individual performances and where that leaves City for the end the rest of the season.
00:10:23
Global Sports Podcast Network
Hello and welcome back to the Daily Manchester City Podcast on the Global Sports Podcast Network. So we've discussed Foden and Kevin De Bruyne, the usual suspects, tearing Ipswich apart in that 6-0 win on Sunday. But I also want to mention and Jeremy Dokku again now, because we all know it's the same old story with him.

Jeremy Dokku's Rising Contributions

00:10:46
Global Sports Podcast Network
Everyone on the planet and then on knows how much ability that bloke has. When he gets the ball on his feet, he can go either side. He's so fast, he's so agile, he's so strong, low center of gravity.
00:10:58
Global Sports Podcast Network
What we all want is output. And it seems over the last month or so, we're talking about him more and more frequently in a way that he is delivering. As we mentioned earlier, that link up with Kevin De Bruyne regularly caused Ipswich problems. took his goal well again. and That trademark cutting in from the left and bending it into the far corner, that's starting to become a bit of a regular occurrence at the moment, Lewis.
00:11:25
Lewis
Yeah, it definitely is, and I think that, like like I said about De Bruyne being on six assists, Docu actually does lead the line on seven in all competitions, so I think that, like you said, his output is definitely improving. And I mean, if you look at Ben Johnson yesterday, I don't think i don't think he would have slept to wink, thinking about the twists and turns that Docu was giving him throughout the game. I thought he was it was one of the best performances I've watched, Docu in a city show, definitely, like you said.
00:11:54
Lewis
the output to assist in a goal and was it to assist in a goal?
00:11:59
Global Sports Podcast Network
and Just one assist and a goal, I think.
00:12:01
Lewis
did one of this sorry yeah sorry singing his praises too much no not a bad day at the office at all and but i think it's more obviously we know he leaves his leg and he does his little shimmy but he didn't do it as much i think that he was more direct in his approach definitely towards the box
00:12:03
Global Sports Podcast Network
Still still not bad day not a bad day's work though.
00:12:19
Lewis
And he was actually dribbling forward and making simple passes instead of trying to overdo it, turn in and then turn again and then turn again, which can be quite frustrating.
00:12:26
Global Sports Podcast Network
He slows himself down with that shimmy, doesn't he? like It feels completely unnecessary if he just tucks someone either inside or outside, how fast he is.
00:12:29
Lewis
Yeah, he does.
00:12:34
Global Sports Podcast Network
He's going to beat them more often than not.
00:12:36
Lewis
Exactly. I think that's why he capitalized on yesterday, today because he was the shimmy was back in the second half. like I said, Ben Johnson, he just you just couldn't handle it. He's not quick enough. And obviously he's so sharp. He's one of the sharpest players i've ever I've ever seen play. It's ridiculous. His pace over five, 10 yards is is second to none. And I think that's what, at the minute, it does set him apart from the likes of Greenlish on that left side, who were who were contending for a spot because one once he's away, yeah, you'd like I said, you can't catch him. But yeah, I think it was definitely one of his better performances. And I think that,
00:13:10
Lewis
if he continues to play out of that. It was like Pep told him to pass it more. He told him, when you get it, pass it earlier and it it was working. Because if you give it De Bruyne, De Bruyne is going to make things happen and that that is exactly what happened in that first star.
00:13:22
Lewis
So yeah, I was very impressed with him.
00:13:24
Global Sports Podcast Network
I think we can all ah allow him the shimmy at six and a half as well, right? If you're going to do this, if you're going to do the shimmy, at least at least i have a six goal lead to do it.
00:13:28
Lewis
Yeah, which i
00:13:33
Lewis
exactly.
00:13:35
Global Sports Podcast Network
another person or Another player causing pep some selection headaches in the four positions at the moment is James Mackety.

James Mackete's Potential Emergence

00:13:43
Global Sports Podcast Network
Off the back of a fantastic hat-trick against local rivals Salford. I wouldn't say rivals, but other local team Salford in the FA Cup. Mackety started to get more minutes in the Premier League and he got his first goal with a lovely guided header over the Ipswich goalkeeper.
00:14:00
Global Sports Podcast Network
So ah ah let's talk about James McATie Lewis. we've been We've been wanting him to get more minutes from the start of the season. We thought with Palmer leaving and that he could be the natural successor, but that's not quite happened. He's starting to take his chances now though.
00:14:17
Lewis
Yeah, I think his time will come. Obviously De Bruyne's getting on a bit now. I think that there's definitely a role in there for him. I think Pep wants that role in there for him. He said how much he likes him and how hard the ceiling is for him.
00:14:31
Lewis
But I think his confidence on the ball is definitely improving. He did look a bit timid. He looked a bit lackluster when he was coming on, but at the end of the day, you're coming up with
00:14:40
Global Sports Podcast Network
That Leicester game changed it, didn't it?
00:14:44
Lewis
yeah i did I think when you come in after 10 minutes it is really really hard to impact the game but yeah I was happy to see him come on I think it was about the 60 second minute and he he didn't see much of the ball but I think that his goalie scored he took well I mean what a ball from Kovacic absolutely fantastic but it's one of them headers which which are quite easy you just let it you just guide it in into the far post and yeah he steps over the Ipswich keeper and he's put a 6-0 up and I think Yeah, he got a goal in Bratislava, was it? I think in the Champions League. And then obviously a hat trick against Salford, not Salford by the way, that pronunciation is shocking. He got a goal against Salford, a hat trick, sorry. And I think that that was taken really well. And I do want to see him getting more minutes and and flourishing more.
00:15:35
Global Sports Podcast Network
exciting could it be for another academy player to start maybe treading the same path as a certain Phil Foden?
00:15:43
Lewis
Yeah, exactly.
00:15:45
Global Sports Podcast Network
And so there's James Mcity. There's also another wide player that's been in good form recently. This feels like a whole new podcast at the moment. Savino didn't start on this game, but he has probably been Citi's most consistent attacker over the last couple of months.
00:15:53
Lewis
but
00:16:01
Global Sports Podcast Network
So are you a lot more excited about Citi's attacking options and say a month or two ago?
00:16:06
Lewis
Yeah, definitely. I think obviously Greenish is on the way out this January. Where he goes we'll wait and see it's sort of like a Rashford case where it's kind of inevitable He's gonna go whether it's a loan or not is disappointing, but I think yeah the the young The young talent on on the wings in and then the attack is definitely saying Harlan still young there's an option. There's a 30 million buyback for lean to laugh in the future, which we could look, which we could look towards, which could be exciting. Obviously you didn't do anything yesterday, but he was just being nice to his, to his former club, I guess. So we've got a, we've got a grant in that. Yeah. The, the, uh, the pace and and the electrified ability of, uh, DACA and Savino is, is super for me. And especially Savino, I think coming from, from the Spanish lead, your owner and an upcoming team, obviously it's our uh, our
00:16:58
Lewis
join club, whatever you call it. And I think that having such a good season in a, in another league like that, it is hard to live up to the Premier League, to the hype of the Premier League, the the pace of it, the physicality of it. And I think he did find that hard at first, but now he's definitely finding his feet and yeah, he's just knocking it around defenders like they're not there. And then a few goals and his output, like you mentioned with Dokka is definitely improving. So yeah, it's great to see.
00:17:21
Global Sports Podcast Network
I think um we use Darko as an example, I think you can tell Savino's got the IQ already, right? It's more execution that doesn't come off.
00:17:28
Lewis
Yeah.
00:17:29
Global Sports Podcast Network
With Darko, it feels like he's having to learn these things, but Savino's got the eye for the pass, 100%. Some of the passes he's made over the last couple couple of weeks have been fantastic.
00:17:35
Lewis
Yeah.
00:17:39
Global Sports Podcast Network
and his crossing, yeah e from either side, has been great all year. So, yeah, Docu and Savino very much seem like they're the future of the wide positions at the moment, but begging for some more consistency from them both. Would you still reinforce, up front in January, um Omar Mamous from Frankfurt has obviously been talked a lot about?
00:18:00
Lewis
Yeah, i I like him. I think the second scorer behind Kane this season in the Bundesliga, and like you mentioned, pre-recording, he's got a lot of assists this season as well, 26 goals and assists in all competitions. And I think that it'd definitely be great to see a couple of new additions in January. Obviously, I mentioned Liendalat, but I don't think he'll come in January, but maybe come into the season.
00:18:23
Lewis
But yeah, it'd be great to see, see new talent. And if Pep Guardiola has got his eye on a player, then I do have full trust that that they're going to come and and they're going to excel. Obviously creelage being the exception with a crazy a hundred million spent on him. But yeah, let's, let's see. And let's hope that but if he does come, he can, he can adapt quicker than Savino and docu and, and yeah, get to get up and running.
00:18:48
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, a fresh face in the attacking third definitely couldn't hurt. Were there any other positions that you think City could be looking at?

Transfer Talk: Strengthening the Midfield?

00:18:59
Lewis
so it was midfield. Obviously, Zuma Mendy was heavily linked, but now he's more linked with Arsenal, is it? I think Arteta's got his eye on Zuma Mendy bringing him in. God knows why. I think for, just for depth, uh, moving forward. But yeah, uh, just today Douglas Louise was, was linked to City from, from Juventus, just on a loan deal till the end of the season. I think that could, well, that will definitely definitely be good for us in that midfield. Obviously I still don't think Gundaman's obviously, I don't think he's ever going to get back to that to that impeccable standard he was at. I thought he did all right yesterday, but yeah, he is getting on a bit now. And I think that an addition like Douglas Louise would definitely boost our midfield just until, until Roger comes back. Hopefully it's sooner than, sooner than expected. So yeah, that, that would be good for me in January. Maam, you should Douglas Louise through the door and hope that we can push you on.
00:19:52
Lewis
qualify for the next round of the Champions League with PSG coming up and we have got a hard run on the prem. So yeah, I definitely think that depth and stability in midfield and yeah, a backup for Harland, do us some good.
00:20:05
Global Sports Podcast Network
Douglas Louise could be the perfect sign in. Of course, come through City's academy briefly, once upon a time as well, before moving and moving to Aston Villa, and he's someone that is a natural sex.
00:20:12
Lewis
Yeah.
00:20:17
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yes, he can play further forward, but he broke into the City team as that hold in midfielder, and he's definitely a lot more comfortable and physical there than Ghandoan is, for instance. so Kovacic obviously has been good and bad at times this season, but he does look isolated when he's there by himself, especially without the legs ahead of him that Roger provides.
00:20:38
Global Sports Podcast Network
So yeah, I think a good solid defensive midfielder that's already comfortable with with the Premier League and Manchester City, I don't think can go far wrong with Douglas Louise, especially if it's only alone as well.
00:20:48
Global Sports Podcast Network
That's a pretty low risk move and that would yeah strengthen the squad, in my opinion.
00:20:51
Lewis
Yeah.
00:20:53
Global Sports Podcast Network
We're going to have another short break now and then when we come back we're going to look ahead to and where City could finish come the end of the season.
00:21:29
Global Sports Podcast Network
Hello and welcome back to the Daily Manchester City Podcast on the Global Sports Podcast Network. So let's get straight into a bit more takeaways from City 6-0 win against Ipswich. Perhaps the most pleasing aspect of the performance could be said that and there was a clean sheet had to, something that has not happened often in the Premier League this season.

Ruben Diaz's Defensive Impact

00:21:53
Global Sports Podcast Network
So how much of a difference will having Ruben Diaz back be for the rest of the season, Lewis? He was very good on Sunday.
00:22:00
Lewis
Yeah, I think it's massive. our Our own brick wall at the back, I think that having him back, having that stability instead of the inexperience of Simpson-Pouche say, for example, I think it's definitely, definitely good. And even against a team like Ipswich,
00:22:13
Lewis
where you would expect him to maybe score based off our defensive record this season. I've got a bit in in the attack, like we mentioned, Mary Hutchinson, they've got talent them to put the ball on the net, but I think that, yeah, we defended really well. It was it was quite comfortable. There wasn't many scares, and and just having Gavadio mistake-free as well at the minute is is always good to see. so So, yeah, I did think that,
00:22:41
Lewis
The clean sheet is definitely a bonus moving forward, especially as we come to a really, really hard run of fixtures.
00:22:49
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, I suppose we can only guess whether that was a one-off, but the team looked a hell of a lot more solid with Diaz at the back, and Guardiola did as well, having Diaz next to him.
00:22:57
Lewis
Yeah.
00:23:00
Global Sports Podcast Network
I think with a settled back four, although Pep does like to rotate, he might you might you might do it less when a if the team keeps keeping clean sheets. But yeah, settled back four, and I think we'll see less mistakes from the full backs, which is where a lot of them mistake a lot of the mistakes have been happening all season.
00:23:16
Global Sports Podcast Network
But as we mentioned earlier, this result put City up to fourth after Newcastle got hammered at home by Bournemouth, who are just on City's tail as well. So the table currently reads Liverpool first with 50 points, Arsenal second on 44, Forest third with 44 and City fourth with 38, Newcastle fifth with 38, Chelsea sixth with 37, Bournemouth seventh with 37,
00:23:41
Global Sports Podcast Network
and Villa eighth of 36. So there's only two points between Villa and eighth and City in fourth. So it could go anywhere you can at the end of the season but with a good a few good results in the bank and a six nil performance, where do you think City are going to finish this year and do you think it'll be with any silverware?

spots. However, they keep proving me wrong and they look as strong as ever. I mean, then to be fairly nearly let's have Hampton back into the game on the weekend, 3-0 finish 3-2.
00:24:22
Lewis
so I just, I see us, I do see us getting in the Champions League spots. I see us coming back and and getting above us. And I would love to say that we're going to finish above, above make our set aside.
00:24:33
Lewis
That would be, it'd be amazing to see. I didn't expect new.

Only six points difference at the moment. you know that's That's not much at all considering how everyone's been talking about both sets of teams.
00:24:38
Lewis

00:24:45
Lewis
Yeah. The amount, well, I mean, we've seen us reduce big deficits over the years to, to win Ziles. So I'm sure we can do it.

We're always going to be fickle. And I was just thinking that, you're just seeing City win 6-0, that ah birthed ah ah some renewed confidence.

Or you very much treating that as a one-off and very much scarred over the last couple of months.
00:25:17
Lewis
Yeah, it's a bit mixed for me. I don't think it's a one-off. I do think that we are getting better. than we have been but ah think that It's not good.
00:25:27
Lewis
It's not gonna be good enough to We're not gonna do that every week. It's not gonna be sustainable and I'm not gonna be fickle like Yeah, exactly I'm not gonna be fickle and Yeah, and say that and say that we're gonna you know chase Liverpool down because I don't think we will I can't see them being stopped by anyone I think that the title is firmly in their hands and

There's going to be better teams, better teams than Ipswich as well. It's coming up. I mean, even this, even this week.

for Foden himself this week as well said as much didn't he he said we know we've ruined the title race but that is what a team that loves to come back loves to say too isn't it it's currently 12 points I think the most in history is 13 so it has been done it has been done will it happen
00:25:59
Lewis
yeah it would be it would yeah no i don't i don't think though they've got a game in hand i don't i don't think unless they get like loads of injuries like they have in previous years like say van light yeah to be fair everything did just did just batter spurs so yeah yeah i'm not too

00:26:28
Lewis

00:26:30
Global Sports Podcast Network

Global Sports Podcast Network
Well, I suppose you just answered what I was going to ask. I was going to say we could cut it down a bit more and say, will City finish ahead of Forest? But being second, I assume you you think so.
00:26:58
Lewis
debating whether Forish are going to finish at Ballers or not, because I think I had him 17th or something at the start of the season. But yeah, yeah it thats that is a shocker.
00:27:04
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, I had them to go down, yeah.
00:27:08
Lewis
It is what it is. And at least we're doing better than were doing a lot better than United anyway. We've had a Tory time and I mean Spurs currently setting 15, so there you go. What what a crazy season, Robin.
