Speaker: Alright, hello everybody.
Speaker: Welcome back to another Geekity Greek show.
Speaker: My name's Verantist, here with the co-host... Ramses the Great.
Speaker: And we hope everybody's been having a wonderful couple of weeks now so far.
Speaker: We ourselves have had very busy weeks with not a lot of new going on, so...
Speaker: But what we are going to talk about today are just retro games once again, such as me finishing Legend of Zelda or Arena of Time.
Speaker: Woohoo!
Speaker: Not the game I remember it being.
Speaker: At all.
Speaker: Like, I don't know what happened, but I got to the final boss fight, and it was not what I remembered.
Speaker: At all.
Speaker: Easy?
Speaker: Hard?
Speaker: Or... Oh, I mean, the entire thing...
Speaker: Once I remembered what the game teaches you in like the third boss fight, it was easy.
Speaker: Who's the third boss?
Speaker: I don't know.
Speaker: I mean, that was just a random guess.
Speaker: It's not the third boss fight.
Speaker: It's the first time you actually face off against the Shadow Ganon.
Speaker: So not Ganondorf.
Speaker: You actually face off against like a Shade Ganon.
Speaker: It's actually called something like Shadow Ganon or something like that that like runs in the paintings and out of the paintings.
Speaker: I completely forgot that you're supposed to use your sword to attack the magical energy that he's shooting at you.
Speaker: And bounce it back to him?
Speaker: And bounce it back to him, yeah.
Speaker: Cool, because they give you a shield.
Speaker: The dungeon right before this, they give you a freaking shield that reflects sunlight.
Speaker: It's supposed to reflect things.
Speaker: So I'm sitting there, I'm like, I could not for the life of me.
Speaker: I spent like 20 minutes trying to figure out how to get... So I spent 20 minutes trying to figure out how to...
Speaker: Fight this boss, essentially.
Speaker: It ended up being the most simplest, the most simple thing you could do.
Speaker: And it was just one of those things where you just, after playing 10, 15 hours later, you don't remember it because it was used once.
Speaker: Literally the only boss, the only fight where you use your sword to reflect and attack back.
Speaker: And I was just like, you've got to be kidding me.
Speaker: I tried everything.
Speaker: I'm glad I stocked up.
Speaker: I went in with like every single... I went in with two fairies and two sets of the blue or green potions.
Speaker: The one that restores both hearts and magic.
Speaker: And thank God, because otherwise I would have ran out of magic.
Speaker: Because I did run out of magic twice.
Speaker: So, yeah.
Speaker: That was a lot of fun.
Speaker: Do you...
Speaker: Have you ever beaten Warcane of Time?
Speaker: I actually don't.
Speaker: I don't remember if I have.
Speaker: Or if I've even seen it beat, to be honest with you.
Speaker: I don't think so, though.
Speaker: Yeah, I mean, that's the thing.
Speaker: It's like, I could have sworn I remembered beating it when I was a kid.
Speaker: Like, I thought that was a vivid memory.
Speaker: And apparently, that vivid memory is a different Zelda game.
Speaker: Because I remember riding around trying to shoot a light arrow at him.
Speaker: That sounds like... Maybe Twilight Princess?
Speaker: That's what I was thinking.
Speaker: I was going to say the dark one.
Speaker: Yeah, I was like, that might be the one.
Speaker: Maybe I'm remembering Twilight Princess.
Speaker: It's like, I really thought there was a long... I just... I remember...
Speaker: I don't know what I remember now.
Speaker: Twilight Princess was also an amazing game, by the way.
Speaker: Did you?
Speaker: Yes.
Speaker: No, I never finished it.
Speaker: We got it for the Wii.
Speaker: So you got the backwards version.
Speaker: The backwards version?
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: I actually found that to be one of the coolest things ever was that the Wii games and the GameCube games, ones that were released on both,
Speaker: certain games like Zelda.
Speaker: I don't know if it was for all games, but I know specifically that Twilight Princess was flipped in reverse.
Speaker: Oh, really?
Speaker: So like for every left turn you would take on the Wii, you'd take a right turn on the GameCube.
Speaker: I don't know why.
Speaker: I don't know if that was intentional or that's how it got ported.
Speaker: I don't know how that I don't know how or why that happens.
Speaker: But I just thought it was a really neat thing because it was like I remember back in middle school,
Speaker: When it first came out, my buddy had it for the Wii and I had it for the GameCube and he was trying to walk me through.
Speaker: What?
Speaker: I don't see how it could be middle school because I think that was right before the oldest Ramseys was born.
Speaker: No, it was definitely middle school.
Speaker: Oh, really?
Speaker: And it was years before.
Speaker: Yeah, because it was 2006, I think, that it came out.
Speaker: 2005 or 2006?
Speaker: That might be right.
Speaker: Wii was brand new.
Speaker: But yeah, so my buddy was trying to walk me through it and I was following his directions and I just kept on running into walls because he had it on the Wii and I had it on the GameCube.
Speaker: And that was when we found out about it.
Speaker: 2006.
Speaker: 2006.
Speaker: So it literally just came out.
Speaker: I still actually have that very first copy I bought sitting right there.
Speaker: Well, unfortunately.
Speaker: I keep on forgetting.
Speaker: Unfortunately, I had a Yorkshire Terrier that had diabetes, and he decided that my Wii was the perfect place to urinate.
Speaker: After pissing on it a few times, it didn't quite work the same way.
Speaker: That's unfortunate.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: That is a very unfortunate.
Speaker: I technically did not have a Wii though.
Speaker: I didn't have a Wii until... I never had a GameCube.
Speaker: I didn't have a Wii until pretty much the Nintendo Switch came out.
Speaker: That was when I got my Wii.
Speaker: Yeah, that's a good time to get it.
Speaker: All the games are already out.
Speaker: I got it for like $100, I think.
Speaker: It was the Mario Collector's Edition version.
Speaker: Nice.
Speaker: Yeah, I'm super ecstatic about that.
Speaker: It's a nice little red Wii.
Speaker: Sitting right there on the 30.
Speaker: I don't have the red remote that was supposed to come with it.
Speaker: The Wiimote that was supposed to come with it.
Speaker: But I do have the games and I have the case and all that fun stuff.
Speaker: Did you get the blue balls that came with it?
Speaker: I don't know if you're being serious or not.
Speaker: Cause I don't, it's Nintendo.
Speaker: They might be actually giving blue balls with stuff.
Speaker: I don't know.
Speaker: No, always save your box folks.
Speaker: If you worried about them taking up space, just remember they are wonderful for transporting them.
Speaker: If you ever have to move, I keep all of my game boxes for that reason are my console boxes for that reason.
Speaker: So just a little bit of friendly advice for everyone out there.
Speaker: So what you're kind of laughing at me.
Speaker: What's up?
Speaker: I still have mine, so I can't say anything.
Speaker: Yeah, but you look like you want to say something.
Speaker: I can hear it now.
Speaker: Oh, no, I'm good.
Speaker: I just you're still laughing about the Wiimote and the blue walls.
Speaker: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker: Now I see where you're coming from for that.
Speaker: Back to the original topic of Orcarina of Time.
Speaker: So like I said, I did beat it.
Speaker: And I 100%ed it.
Speaker: I mean, except for the Ghoul Skotelas, because I'm not going to bother with the Ghoul Skotelas.
Speaker: I don't know which ones I've got and which ones I haven't got.
Speaker: So I'm not about to try to figure out which ones I don't have.
Speaker: See, that's the part I really liked.
Speaker: I love those Skotelas.
Speaker: They were cool.
Speaker: Oh, I got a lot of them.
Speaker: I'm only missing like, I think like, I think I'm only missing 20.
Speaker: Yeah, it would have been nice if they had told you, you know, this is where you're missing them.
Speaker: Not, you know, here it is, but it's somewhere in this area.
Speaker: Yeah, like this general area.
Speaker: And it's like, they do do that in the dungeons.
Speaker: Oh, they were outside the dungeons?
Speaker: Yeah, they're both outside and inside the dungeon.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: But they actually do do that inside of the dungeons.
Speaker: They, when you open up the map inside of a dungeon, there'll be a little emblem in the top left.
Speaker: If you've collected all of them, it's there'll be an emblem of the Sculptella in the top left of the map.
Speaker: Actually, I didn't know that part.
Speaker: I don't think.
Speaker: They actually tell you that in game, like the very first time I'm glad I saved right before I talked to him for the first time, the dude.
Speaker: Because I completely missed what he said by accident because I was mashing the Ava.
Speaker: And I was like, I've read all this.
Speaker: And I happened to see something about a map.
Speaker: And I was like, that's something I don't know.
Speaker: Let me reload.
Speaker: And that was when I found out about it.
Speaker: He specifically tells you.
Speaker: And he doesn't tell you more than once.
Speaker: He only tells you the very first time you talk to him.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: That's why that might be why we just don't remember.
Speaker: Because you're kind of skipping through.
Speaker: Because, you know, it's like.
Speaker: He kind of says it at the end and you're kind of tired of reading it because he keeps on talking, talking, talking, talking.
Speaker: You're just like, I want done.
Speaker: I do know that one.
Speaker: Typically, what's funny there is I don't tend to do that for RPGs and I am the most annoying RPG player on earth.
Speaker: I'll go and look for every book in Skyrim and I'll read the damn things.
Speaker: And then
Speaker: You know, I'll go and talk to everybody.
Speaker: But you're right in Zelda, I do.
Speaker: I go, I've already read this 300 times.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: And there are certain games you are right, because like I was the same way in Skyrim and I'm still the same way in Skyrim where I will listen to all the dialogue.
Speaker: I'll read all the books and stuff like that because they were genuinely interesting.
Speaker: Same thing with Destiny.
Speaker: Destiny, I read the lore for it.
Speaker: I don't even remember what they were.
Speaker: I only played it for that first month that it came out because it became a heaping pile of trash for a while.
Speaker: Which one are we talking about?
Speaker: One or two?
Speaker: One.
Speaker: I thought one was fun.
Speaker: It's good now.
Speaker: The thing with one is it is fun and it was fun.
Speaker: I didn't like that...
Speaker: I specifically remember raiding with all of our friends and I was carrying the crap out of everybody and I was stuck because this was before they reworked everything.
Speaker: Now it's reworked to where this kind of thing doesn't happen anymore.
Speaker: But like I was always two levels under people because I couldn't get my light level above 28 because I couldn't get the raid to drop the gear that I needed.
Speaker: Oh, poor baby.
Speaker: I would go play... Do you know how annoying it was when I was looking at their scores with like 40 and 50 kills and I had 226?
Speaker: Do you know how annoying it is to go and play with your buddies who you've been playing with and you come back on after a few days and they're already 30 levels ahead of you?
Speaker: 30 was the cap.
Speaker: We didn't get to level 30 until the raid came out.
Speaker: That was when the light levels were introduced.
Speaker: So...
Speaker: You caught my drift.
Speaker: I know what you mean.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: To be fair, we wanted to play with you and we did play with you still.
Speaker: Oh, yeah.
Speaker: I was just I wasn't doing no kills.
Speaker: So you're bitching about getting 200.
Speaker: I was getting maybe five.
Speaker: No, but that's that's a difference, though.
Speaker: It's it's different when it's a raid, because like I said, it's like the stuff that we did with you, the story stuff and the strikes like, yeah, they mattered.
Speaker: But it wasn't like this is how you progress in the game type of matter.
Speaker: The raid was how you progress to a higher level, and that was the only way back then to progress to a higher level.
Speaker: It wasn't so much as progressing as you were getting new armor, right?
Speaker: Stronger armor.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: And that but that was the new levels, because after back when it first released, the original level cap was 20.
Speaker: And then the armor that you got after level 20 had a light level on it up to level 30.
Speaker: The only way to get from 27, I think it was 27.
Speaker: It might have been 25.
Speaker: It was 25 or 27.
Speaker: But the only way to get from there to level 30 was raid gear.
Speaker: And you could only get one drop from a raid.
Speaker: I think it was one drop a day, maybe?
Speaker: Maybe one drop a week?
Speaker: I think it was one drop a week.
Speaker: Yeah, that's why I quit playing because I wasn't I literally could not get the drops and I'm sitting there trying my butt off and getting one shot still because I couldn't get the pieces to make the rate easier.
Speaker: I was like, this is dumb.
Speaker: But also at that point, I had we had finished the game.
Speaker: It's like there was nothing new being added to it at the time.
Speaker: So there was nothing left for me to do.
Speaker: I'm still technically ranked in the top 1% of the freaking PvP in that game.
Speaker: Like, granted, I don't have the number of games a lot of the new players have, but I will never forget those days.
Speaker: They were a lot of fun.
Speaker: I will say I love that one, too.
Speaker: I was never good at it.
Speaker: I'm not very good at shooters to begin with, but I do love I did.
Speaker: I actually love that one.
Speaker: I thought it was great.
Speaker: I don't I don't do MMOs for a reason.
Speaker: And that's because a lot of the friends I have, like you and other people, none of y'all have kids.
Speaker: None of y'all have families.
Speaker: None of y'all have any outside forces that are on y'all.
Speaker: So y'all can play when y'all won.
Speaker: Hell, I'm happy to be able to play.
Speaker: Like this week, I've gotten... Yeah, that's true.
Speaker: Gotten a family.
Speaker: Yeah, everybody else did get themselves preggered up.
Speaker: Yep.
Speaker: In my case, this week I played Persona 5 Royal on the Switch.
Speaker: And it is as good or even better than I remember on the PS4 because I had that one originally.
Speaker: And so I've been playing that.
Speaker: And then...
Speaker: Have I watched you play that?
Speaker: Is that the one where it's like the level?
Speaker: You just like literally keep on like increasing in level.
Speaker: Like you can constantly level up to like ridiculous level numbers.
Speaker: No.
Speaker: Not that I know of.
Speaker: Oh, no, that's Disgaea.
Speaker: I know which one you're talking about, Disgaea.
Speaker: And I love that game too.
Speaker: And I'm kind of excited because I think they're coming out with Disgaea 4.
Speaker: Or they've already released the Sky of 4.
Speaker: I just haven't gotten it yet for the Switch.
Speaker: I did get the Sky of 5 and I wasn't that impressed with it.
Speaker: I beat that one.
Speaker: And I felt like that kind of ruined it for me if I could beat it.
Speaker: But now Persona is basically it's like Pokemon in a way.
Speaker: A dark, dark Pokemon.
Speaker: You are a high school kid and you have to change your fate because something's going to happen in one year's time where you're going to die.
Speaker: And so you go into dungeons with other players and then you make contracts with demons.
Speaker: And so you get them on your team and they'll fight for you.
Speaker: And you're fighting other demons.
Speaker: And they've got some good ones.
Speaker: It's a really dark one.
Speaker: I really love it.
Speaker: I think that it's... I'm trying to say that I'm trying to think that... I don't know which one is better.
Speaker: Persona 4 Golden or Persona 5 Royal.
Speaker: I think I kind of like the story in 5 Royal more right now.
Speaker: But I will always hold a fondness for four golden.
Speaker: So that was my big claim for the week.
Speaker: I'm done for the rest of the podcast.
Speaker: That's not true, though.
Speaker: I've actually done some solo tabletop, too.
Speaker: You have, have you?
Speaker: Oh, yeah.
Speaker: Well, it started with me trying to figure out how to make a character for basic role playing.
Speaker: So I went ahead and I actually downloaded an app that makes it easier, except it didn't because this guy never finished the app.
Speaker: So I had to go in and I had to actually finish it for him.
Speaker: Edit it yourself.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: At least you know how to code.
Speaker: Yeah, well, it was in Excel, so it was even easier.
Speaker: Oh, yeah.
Speaker: But I finally got that to work, and so I'm like, you know, I'm going to test it out.
Speaker: I'm going to go ahead and make three characters.
Speaker: Well, I was going to make one character and use the one I'd written up, and I was like, okay, that works.
Speaker: Now let me try making a fresh one.
Speaker: And then I just kind of went and made a third one.
Speaker: So I actually did a big fight, you know, right off the bat in Media Res, and
Speaker: I had my main character get into a fight protecting the secondary character, while the tertiary character, she doesn't do much.
Speaker: She's a fairy, so she's kind of hiding out in the back while I was defending my mage from a couple goblins.
Speaker: And I managed to succeed.
Speaker: Nobody got killed.
Speaker: The mage almost bit it, though.
Speaker: She got real low.
Speaker: And...
Speaker: So luckily the goblin decided that when it attacked her, it knocked her on her ass and it ran for its life.
Speaker: So she's still alive.
Speaker: The goblin ran after winning the fight.
Speaker: How dare you?
Speaker: Oh no, the goblins were losing.
Speaker: There were three of them originally.
Speaker: Oh.
Speaker: And then two of them got taken out, and the third one actually got taken down quite a bit, but it still had enough HP.
Speaker: To where it could have killed.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Yeah, it could have killed her, but it wouldn't have survived against him.
Speaker: And the way I like to do NPCs, monsters,
Speaker: And I fully admit this.
Speaker: I stole this from somebody on YouTube.
Speaker: I don't know if it was Matt Colville or somebody else.
Speaker: I will fully admit I stole this part.
Speaker: But I am doing now for the last year or so where the monsters have enough common sense to get their ass out of there if they're losing.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Once they get it, it only makes sense.
Speaker: Like if, if the PCs can do it, why not the encounters like that?
Speaker: That makes sense.
Speaker: It's not mindless beasts.
Speaker: I've never done it that way.
Speaker: I've always done mindless beast and I played it this way and it really adds a lot more to it.
Speaker: It's like, wow.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: That kind of does make it feel like it's a little more natural, you know?
Speaker: And then I'm like,
Speaker: Rise so much because the monsters actually retreat when you do enough damage to them.
Speaker: Which one was that?
Speaker: That's why you like what?
Speaker: The Monster Hunter games.
Speaker: Oh yeah.
Speaker: I don't know if you ever played them, but if you ever do, they're a lot of fun.
Speaker: I played Unite.
Speaker: I played Monster Hunter Unite and the newest one that came... Rise or World?
Speaker: World.
Speaker: Rise is the brand new one.
Speaker: World is the one right before it.
Speaker: World, yeah.
Speaker: That's the one I played.
Speaker: And yeah, I had fun with that one.
Speaker: So that was the end of my story, really.
Speaker: Yeah, sorry, I kind of cut you off there.
Speaker: No, sorry.
Speaker: Never played it that way before and you really liked how the monsters were running away.
Speaker: Yeah, to me it just felt like it was more natural.
Speaker: Now, something I want to try, if you've ever, did you ever play that Shadows of Morgoth or whatever it is?
Speaker: Yes and no.
Speaker: I have watched it.
Speaker: I've never owned it.
Speaker: I've watched parts of it played and I've played parts of it.
Speaker: For our listeners who aren't aware, it was a Lord of the Rings game where they implemented something new called a nemesis system.
Speaker: And basically, you had choices when you were fighting.
Speaker: Or even, you know, it was a natural thing that would happen.
Speaker: If the orcs killed you, or you killed an orc, or something like that, it would affect how the orcs thought of you.
Speaker: So, in Morgoth, I think it's called Morgoth, it's shadows of something, probably shadows of Mordor, to be honest with you.
Speaker: If you killed...
Speaker: You think so?
Speaker: I believe so.
Speaker: So say I killed an orc chieftain.
Speaker: Okay, so it was Shadows of Mordor.
Speaker: If I had killed an orc chieftain, the next orc would take its place and remember me.
Speaker: And it could cause it to be afraid of me or even hate me.
Speaker: So that's something I want to implement in my games.
Speaker: Now, you know, these things remember me.
Speaker: oh, that's the guy that killed me or that's the guy that let me go.
Speaker: Or that mage there has some wicked spells or something like that and it'll be prepared for him next time.
Speaker: That's my goal.
Speaker: I've never done that before.
Speaker: I mean, that would be pretty cool.
Speaker: It would be especially cool when we play.
Speaker: I didn't have to implement that, though.
Speaker: We'll write them down.
Speaker: You look for a distinguishing marker.
Speaker: Usually you want to try to give every NPC some kind of marker.
Speaker: No, I was more so thinking how to implement their counters versus you, but I already thought of ways.
Speaker: It's like, let's say you're playing a mage and you cast Fireball.
Speaker: Well, now they can just find some way to be fireproof.
Speaker: Wouldn't that be absolutely hilarious?
Speaker: Completely take out most mages first attack.
Speaker: Because Fireball...
Speaker: And yeah, that was, uh, that was actually one of the things I had to choose for, um, my mage and my fairy.
Speaker: I wanted to give them, um,
Speaker: My fairy's got, she's got a bow and arrow.
Speaker: Okay, but she's six inches tall.
Speaker: So what can she do?
Speaker: That bow's going to do like 1d2 damage.
Speaker: Minus one.
Speaker: I was going to say, yeah.
Speaker: At most you could make elemental attributes or affinities or status.
Speaker: That's getting a little too much for me.
Speaker: So what instead I did, I gave her a spell.
Speaker: I gave her a blast.
Speaker: I don't know what the hell that does.
Speaker: I'll, I'll come up with it when I do it.
Speaker: Um, well, that's the great thing.
Speaker: I don't know if the book actually gives you a description of it.
Speaker: I kind of ignored it.
Speaker: I figured I can, you know, if I wanted to do something, I'll make it do that.
Speaker: So I gave her blast and I gave the mage frost and, um, healing.
Speaker: kind of cheated because that way she can heal everybody.
Speaker: But I figured that way Frost would get me over the whole, oh, my first spell's a fireball kind of deal.
Speaker: Now it's an ice ball.
Speaker: Yeah, now it's an ice ball.
Speaker: And yeah, well, I also didn't want it to be, do you want help with that fire?
Speaker: Here, there you go.
Speaker: There's a fire for you.
Speaker: Now it's like, well, what are you going to do?
Speaker: Freeze me to death?
Speaker: So...
Speaker: You say that like that's not a possibility.
Speaker: Well, I meant like when you're camping, when you're in the campsite.
Speaker: I should have been a little more explicit about that.
Speaker: When you're at the campsite, you know you can't get the fire going.
Speaker: So they just cast fire on it.
Speaker: You cast freeze on the campfire.
Speaker: Yeah, there you go.
Speaker: I want to put the fire out.
Speaker: There you go.
Speaker: You can make an igloo.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: If you're an ice mage, you can make an igloo and that would insulate you.
Speaker: I don't know how that would work in the summer, though.
Speaker: I mean, you might wake up wet, but just a little bit.
Speaker: Just a little moist in here.
Speaker: Is there a such thing as never mill ice in that?
Speaker: Like, I don't know.
Speaker: Not yet, but there might be.
Speaker: Now that I'm going to make it.
Speaker: Some ideology.
Speaker: Like, I don't know if any of the tabletops have it.
Speaker: Oh, yeah.
Speaker: I definitely have seen it implemented in other places.
Speaker: Oh, they've got all kinds of things like that.
Speaker: Fire that never goes out.
Speaker: Ice that never melts.
Speaker: Basically, if you can dream it, they've done it.
Speaker: And that's exactly what it is.
Speaker: It's just games where you dream it and make it.
Speaker: Other than that, my week's been... I've been getting ready for my job, so I haven't been doing much else.
Speaker: Understandable.
Speaker: That between everything else with family life and all that fun jazz.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: But anyways, back to the original.
Speaker: We're still on Zelda?
Speaker: Technically.
Speaker: Yeah, because I really wanted to ask you a question.
Speaker: I don't know if I ever told you, but did you know about the Easter eggs in it?
Speaker: I think I might have told you, but I'm not 100% sure.
Speaker: But this is for all the listeners out there also.
Speaker: There are totally Easter eggs inside of Peach's castle.
Speaker: Inside of Zelda's castle.
Speaker: Where you can see pictures of the Mario Bros and stuff like that.
Speaker: They also have them in Link's Awakening too.
Speaker: Really?
Speaker: Yeah, there's a picture of Mario in there.
Speaker: Did not know that either.
Speaker: I've also never played Link's Awakening.
Speaker: I need to.
Speaker: Well, now that you beat Ocarina of Time, I'm going to tell you, you need to try Minish Cap.
Speaker: Yeah, so when I beat Ocarina of Time, I kept on debating with myself.
Speaker: I was looking at Majora's Mask.
Speaker: I loaded it up.
Speaker: Got to the title screen, and I was like, I just don't know how I feel about playing another seriously long RPG right now after just finishing Ocarina of Time.
Speaker: And another serious one, too.
Speaker: And that's the thing.
Speaker: And then I went to the Game Boy games, and I saw the Minish Cap, and I was like, let me load this up.
Speaker: And I was just like, I just played an amazing Zelda game that's 3D graphics.
Speaker: I don't know if I want to take this kind of step backwards yet with it.
Speaker: I plan on playing the Minish Cap, but this is my thought process.
Speaker: So then I was like, you know what?
Speaker: I'm going to go play a game that I've already beat before, but I was young.
Speaker: So I went to Mario Luigi Superstar Saga.
Speaker: Superstar Saga.
Speaker: Nice.
Speaker: I like that one.
Speaker: It is as fun as it is annoying.
Speaker: I didn't find anything annoying.
Speaker: Oh, I love it.
Speaker: I absolutely love it, but it's just kind of one of those things where it's like the repetitiveness of some of the puzzles where it's like, oh, it's tedious is what the word I'm looking for.
Speaker: There's just certain things where it's like, it's a very tedious playthrough, but I mean, it's fun.
Speaker: It's a different story.
Speaker: They did well with it.
Speaker: It's extremely easy.
Speaker: It is extremely easy.
Speaker: I don't know if that's because it's on the Switch now.
Speaker: I don't remember it being this easy.
Speaker: I just mean with timings and everything like that.
Speaker: That's what I was going to say.
Speaker: I do not like rhythm games.
Speaker: I don't like anything like that.
Speaker: Super Mario Superstar is an RPG with rhythm type fighting.
Speaker: So you have to press A at the right time, B at the right time to make him do things.
Speaker: And I still struggle with this one, so don't get me wrong on that.
Speaker: But it's always been that Superstar Saga, Bowser's Journey, all those Mario and Luigi games are easy.
Speaker: Because I'm able to play them without getting too frustrated.
Speaker: The original Mario game, I think, was terribly hard.
Speaker: Strangely, I beat Mario.
Speaker: World 9 was just... World 9's tough, man.
Speaker: It is so tough.
Speaker: 9?
Speaker: I might be thinking of Mario Bros.
Speaker: 3.
Speaker: Yeah, okay.
Speaker: I was going to say, I only know of 8 worlds of Mario Bros.
Speaker: 1.
Speaker: Mario 3... Is it only 8?
Speaker: Yes.
Speaker: It might be 8.
Speaker: It's been a while.
Speaker: Like, it's been quite some time since I played them, so...
Speaker: Yeah, I think that there's only eight worlds.
Speaker: I'll have to double check.
Speaker: But even in Mario 3, I think that there's only eight worlds.
Speaker: But I do remember how tough it was when you finally got to Bowser.
Speaker: It was a bit of a fight at that point.
Speaker: See, for me, it wasn't the Bowser fights.
Speaker: The Bowser fights are easy.
Speaker: it was literally just getting through the world i'm pretty sure it's i think i'm thinking of super mario bros not super marvelous i'm thinking of mario bros 3 because like i specifically remember the uh i mean it might be world eight i'm not 100 sure but like i just remember the trains going through the entire like battalions of bowser's forces yes yes yes those levels are hard but anyways
Speaker: Well, according to online, it has 256 worlds.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: Interesting that it's that specific number.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Maybe it's considering, because it's world 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, maybe it considers those as separate worlds.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Yeah, they're sub-levels.
Speaker: So, sub-worlds, I guess.
Speaker: Oh, no, wait a minute.
Speaker: It says something else.
Speaker: It says...
Speaker: Blue dotted square dash three.
Speaker: So I think they're talking about a glitch.
Speaker: It's possible.
Speaker: There are a lot of glitches, that is for sure.
Speaker: But yeah, they're saying that everybody else says there's eight.
Speaker: It is eight?
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: And then in Mario 3, I'm pretty sure it's eight as well.
Speaker: It's been a long time since I've got to the final stage of Mario 3.
Speaker: Actually, no, it's funny.
Speaker: I bitch about never being able to beat a game, yet I beat Mario 1, 3, and Super World.
Speaker: Super Mario World?
Speaker: Like the one on the SNES?
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: And the one on 64.
Speaker: Huh.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: So you're a Mario player is what it is.
Speaker: Yeah, but I've never beaten Mario 2.
Speaker: And that's American Mario 2.
Speaker: Which... Oh, but that's like the best one.
Speaker: I love that one.
Speaker: I do.
Speaker: But I've never beaten it.
Speaker: It's not the best one, but it is.
Speaker: It's definitely different.
Speaker: I don't know.
Speaker: I think that is actually one of my favorites.
Speaker: It is fun.
Speaker: I love being able to play as the different characters, but it's also not...
Speaker: It's not a Mario game.
Speaker: Wasn't it supposed to be something else when it started out?
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: I was going to say it was actually a, uh, another game in Japan.
Speaker: Um, I think it was Nemo's dreams or something like that.
Speaker: And then when it came over here, they decided that Americans were Americans wouldn't get the connotation because it was a, uh, anime character back then.
Speaker: And anime still hadn't made its way over here yet.
Speaker: Uh,
Speaker: So they changed it to Mario then, whereas they've got, for their Mario 2, it's more of the same from Mario 1, except even harder levels.
Speaker: So they did a lot of changing back then.
Speaker: They made a lot of games easier.
Speaker: They changed them a lot because we wouldn't get the connotations.
Speaker: But we did the same thing.
Speaker: When we sent Contra over to Europe, we changed it from Contra because that's a, you know, the Contra groups were actually a rebellion.
Speaker: And so they changed it from that to Robo, Proto-Robo, something like that.
Speaker: And it's still the same game, but now you're fighting robots instead of people.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: So.
Speaker: it's everything for the times i guess so but yeah the i i still love super mart super mario i still love the uh superstar saga game though like i haven't quite finished it yet keep in mind i've only been playing it for about a week now but i am on the uh i am on the final boss
Speaker: Wow.
Speaker: Already.
Speaker: I think I got through the first boss.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: I mean, it's not a super long game.
Speaker: Like I've, I've gotten maybe 10 to 15 hours into it.
Speaker: I mean, maybe more like 15, 20.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: I mean, you, you know, I don't, I don't, I don't know how much time I play cause I play in between working and stuff like that.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: So I can't actually keep track.
Speaker: But yeah, it's only been about a week.
Speaker: And I mean, I'm fairly positive I'm on the final boss area.
Speaker: But other than that, like I said, I don't remember being as easy as it is.
Speaker: It's still a lot of fun.
Speaker: Yes.
Speaker: But I'm three shotting bosses and I didn't grind.
Speaker: That's pretty cool.
Speaker: I don't like I just I don't I don't know why.
Speaker: I did not grind a single thing.
Speaker: Maybe I've gotten so used to games that I have to grind that maybe that's why it seems easy.
Speaker: Because we also have to remember this was made on the Game Boy Advance and it's technically a kid's game.
Speaker: Don't tell me that.
Speaker: You'll break my heart.
Speaker: I'm still playing.
Speaker: Still a bit.
Speaker: You're not a rhythm player though.
Speaker: Well, it's not that.
Speaker: In this case, it was just the real world kicked in and I kind of had to stop.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: I was going to say the same thing that kicks in with everything, unfortunately.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Well, what makes it worse is... I mean, that's the reason why I didn't beat it.
Speaker: I should have beat it earlier today, but I had to stop playing.
Speaker: So, like, that's why I'm, like, I'm probably, like, two rooms from the final boss fight.
Speaker: And I want to finish it.
Speaker: I'm staring at my Switch right now.
Speaker: I'm like, I want to turn it on.
Speaker: I want to finish it.
Speaker: But life gets in the way.
Speaker: So, and then I get distracted with other things, like Marvel Snap and God knows what else.
Speaker: So...
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Now as for the thing... Now as for the thing that I said you were going to be upset about was the whole Verizon thing.
Speaker: Because I know you don't have it anymore.
Speaker: No, I don't have Verizon anymore.
Speaker: So I totally get... What is it called?
Speaker: The Google Play Plus Pass or whatever it is.
Speaker: Right.
Speaker: So I get that for free now with my Verizon.
Speaker: With my Verizon.
Speaker: So...
Speaker: with whatever my build plan is, the same way I've gotten Hulu, Disney, ESPN, all the other stuff, just another perk they gave us.
Speaker: Do you know what's available on that plan?
Speaker: Welcome to Science 3D.
Speaker: Dead Cells.
Speaker: I was actually about to mention how I will not be going back to Superstar because I'm going to buy Dead Cells just for Castlevania.
Speaker: So...
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: You'll have to get yourself a digital copy so you don't lose it this time.
Speaker: So sad.
Speaker: I don't know which one would be better in this case.
Speaker: Normally I buy them so I can share them, but I don't know if I want to share that one with the little Ramses.
Speaker: No, that one definitely no.
Speaker: It's already been lost once.
Speaker: It is not getting loosed again.
Speaker: It is too good of a game.
Speaker: Yes, it is.
Speaker: The real question is though, you're buying it for Castlevania.
Speaker: Are you ever going to reach the Castlevania
Speaker: No.
Speaker: Actually, that's probably one of the few games that I keep going back to.
Speaker: That one, Rogue Legacy, is another one that I absolutely worship.
Speaker: And I still have never got... I haven't gotten to play Rogue Legacy 2 yet.
Speaker: And then Disgaea has stolen a lot of my hours.
Speaker: So...
Speaker: But yeah.
Speaker: So it totally has.
Speaker: It says it's controller compatible and all that stuff.
Speaker: And I really need to look into being able to connect.
Speaker: I'm curious if I'm able to connect like an Xbox controller to my phone.
Speaker: It would be weird, but you know, Bluetooth compatibility.
Speaker: Why would it not be able to?
Speaker: Oh, you can do it.
Speaker: I've done it with my phone.
Speaker: I did it for the emulators.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Well, there you go.
Speaker: So I can literally play
Speaker: I can play dead cells for free anywhere I go, even though I own it on two devices already.
Speaker: I'm looking.
Speaker: Well, it's 10 bucks for me to be able to get on the phone.
Speaker: Now I don't know how it runs on the phone.
Speaker: I will say that now I was mainly saying this to rag on you because it's dead cells on the phone and I know you have dead cells, but I have no idea how it runs.
Speaker: It's supposed to be controller compatible.
Speaker: I have not actually loaded it up yet to try it, nor have I even downloaded it.
Speaker: So I just kind of saw it and I was like, oh, that's awesome.
Speaker: I'm going to tell you about this.
Speaker: You know, let me just rub it in a little.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: You know, just a little bit.
Speaker: So.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: I, uh, I do love that one.
Speaker: I think that's, I love both dead cells and, uh,
Speaker: Castlevania so those two are really when is the Castlevania portion supposed to come out or is it already out I think it's out I saw it on Steam today because I was I was trying to look for something actually let me see if I have dead cells on there I don't gotta have it on that wish list man yeah that way whenever it goes on sale we can look at it and be like oh that's exactly it's like I should buy this but I shouldn't buy it
Speaker: Yeah, so it shows it.
Speaker: And it came out March 6th, so yesterday.
Speaker: Oh, there you go then.
Speaker: Yeah, it's $10 on Steam.
Speaker: So it's on sale, I'm assuming?
Speaker: Because I don't think it's ever been that cheap before.
Speaker: Or is the expansion $10, do you mean?
Speaker: No, the expansion's $10.
Speaker: Dead Cells is... I was going to say with the new expansion, maybe the base game's on sale.
Speaker: It is.
Speaker: It ends the 13th.
Speaker: It's $15 right now.
Speaker: You can get the whole base.
Speaker: The whole bundle is only $32.
Speaker: $25.
Speaker: That's normally only $25.
Speaker: Yeah, honestly, usually the bundles are a much, much better offer because I know for games like Civ, whenever there's a bundle sale, it's like 92% off.
Speaker: Whereas if you only need one of the expansions, it's only like 60% off or 50% off.
Speaker: It's so silly.
Speaker: But it's for people who already don't own the game.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Well, I'm normally... The entire bundle is $32.
Speaker: And it's like three DLCs now.
Speaker: Does it include the new DLC?
Speaker: Yep.
Speaker: Or is it an older bundle?
Speaker: It has the Bad Seed, Fatal Falls, The Queen and the Sea, and Castlevania.
Speaker: Well, there you go, folks.
Speaker: For $32, you can get yourself one of my personal favorite rogue games.
Speaker: Rogue games.
Speaker: If you are interested in those games.
Speaker: Is it a rogue or is it a roguelite?
Speaker: I think it's roguelite.
Speaker: Rogue, you start every time over completely from scratch.
Speaker: Yeah, so it's a roguelite then.
Speaker: Because you do keep certain attributes and new unlocks that can be used if you find them type of deal.
Speaker: Right.
Speaker: And then for some reason it decided to bring me over to porn games.
Speaker: So...
Speaker: good steam I like it no you literally scrolled through like what the top free games 90% of them are those like yeah well I forgot I had adults only on marked on and I went and clicked on the one that I didn't know what it was luckily the kids weren't in the room that'll do okay come on get out of here
Speaker: There you go.
Speaker: Oh, yeah, trying to click out of it as you're secretly trying to click more into it.
Speaker: It's like, I swear I'm hitting the back button.
Speaker: I don't know why it's not working.
Speaker: Yeah, but funny enough, they still don't have a Summertime Saga yet.
Speaker: Oh, man.
Speaker: Funny enough, Summertime Saga hasn't gotten an update yet.
Speaker: That is true.
Speaker: That game's a cash cow for the guy.
Speaker: Why would he do anything for it?
Speaker: Well, they did have an update back in October, and they're supposed to have another one coming up real soon.
Speaker: He's actually, according to what I saw, it should be in the next couple weeks, but I don't know how much of that I trust.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: It's still a fun game though.
Speaker: I think it's lost its hype.
Speaker: I never played it for the hype.
Speaker: I just played it because I liked it.
Speaker: It keeps going for me.
Speaker: It's one of those games where as soon as I think that I'm out, it pulls me right back in.
Speaker: If you say so.
Speaker: I do say so.
Speaker: Wow.
Speaker: I shouldn't have opened up Steam.
Speaker: I might have to close this.
Speaker: You probably close it.
Speaker: Like I said, you secretly pretend like you're pressing the back button when you're just going further and further down the rabbit hole.
Speaker: This is a terrible idea right now.
Speaker: Oh, no.
Speaker: I'm out of the pointos.
Speaker: Sure you are.
Speaker: No, I was in a...
Speaker: story of seasons, which was just as bad for me.
Speaker: Actually, I know I've mentioned it before, but you remember how I mentioned that I had the RPG maker game, like not game, but this is software.
Speaker: I did not know.
Speaker: I've had this since like 2013 or 14.
Speaker: Right.
Speaker: Right.
Speaker: And I've messed with it a couple of times.
Speaker: I did not know I was legally allowed to use anything I created and sell it.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: I didn't know that.
Speaker: A lot of people actually do that.
Speaker: Nobody ever told me that.
Speaker: Nobody ever told me that.
Speaker: I could have been making little RPG video games, little JRPGs for the last 10 years and not a single person told me that I could sell them.
Speaker: You can do the same thing with Unity and Epic.
Speaker: I don't know what Epic is and I don't know what Unity is.
Speaker: Epic, the game site.
Speaker: They have their own engine that you can make games with.
Speaker: I did not.
Speaker: I'm going to look into that.
Speaker: Unity is another game.
Speaker: Now, hold on.
Speaker: You say their own engine, but do you have to know coding still?
Speaker: Because you know I don't know coding.
Speaker: Yes, you do have to know coding.
Speaker: That I do not know.
Speaker: Unity, you don't need to know it so much.
Speaker: Yeah, I was going to say RPG Maker, you did not need to know coding.
Speaker: You could use pre-placed everything.
Speaker: So I'm pulling it up and it looks like there's quite a few games from there.
Speaker: A lot of them
Speaker: And actually, well, I'd say they got high ratings, but they've only got two reviews and they've got five stars.
Speaker: That just means you need to give them a shot so you can give them a review.
Speaker: So.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Sorry.
Speaker: Don't over there for a second.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: I mean, they look like old Final Fantasy games, but that's not a bad thing.
Speaker: I was going to say, just JRPG at that point.
Speaker: Like,
Speaker: We all love JRPG.
Speaker: Well, we love JRPG games.
Speaker: We do.
Speaker: I don't know if we can say all because I definitely know a lot of people that do not like those style of games.
Speaker: So which is why I don't see.
Speaker: I don't know if the new Final Fantasy games are more popular or less popular because is it more popular amongst people who never played the Final Fantasy games and less popular?
Speaker: But like, yes, I don't know.
Speaker: Yes, it seems to be from what I've seen on Twitter and whatnot, which you can find me on Twitter as Ramsey's Geekity Greek.
Speaker: I don't know yet.
Speaker: Well, I'm on there.
Speaker: You can find me.
Speaker: But...
Speaker: And wherever you are listening to this, please review us.
Speaker: Even if it's to say we suck, at least say it's something.
Speaker: But, yeah, on Twitter, it seems to be that there's two sides.
Speaker: There's those who have never played the old Final Fantasy and those who have.
Speaker: And those who have don't like the new ones.
Speaker: Those who haven't played it love the new ones.
Speaker: Not all of them.
Speaker: Like, I...
Speaker: Because I still enjoyed XV, and I know you didn't like XV.
Speaker: Right.
Speaker: Outside of the part that XV was far too easy.
Speaker: Other than that, it was enjoyable.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Maybe I'm just good at video games.
Speaker: I'm saying it's too easy for a lot of things.
Speaker: You can say you're good at it.
Speaker: I mean, I...
Speaker: beat the hardest optional dungeon at level five.
Speaker: On what?
Speaker: On Final Fantasy 15.
Speaker: Wow.
Speaker: The very first thing I did was, you don't even know, but there's this monster in the starting area to the right.
Speaker: You're not supposed to be able to fight it until you're level 20.
Speaker: Very first thing I did, I killed it.
Speaker: Very first thing.
Speaker: That was my tutorials.
Speaker: I went to go kill that thing and I was like, I'm not leaving until I kill it.
Speaker: And it took me like 15 minutes of wailing on it.
Speaker: So, and then I went to the actual, I don't know if I would say if it's the hardest dungeon or not, but it's supposed to be one of the hardest optional dungeons.
Speaker: It's, I think it has, it has your Jimbo in it.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: So you know, you know, your Jimbo from all the other ones.
Speaker: He always has like, you know, the instant death, instant death swipes and stuff like that.
Speaker: And yeah, I did that once.
Speaker: at level like I think somewhere between level 5 and 10 it was it was just too easy but that's my grave for a lot of games unfortunately see I have to agree with that there's a lot of games that I think are too easy but I don't think I'm a good player so I don't know I've seen you play video games I don't think I've ever heard you once say a video game is too easy
Speaker: Disgaea 5.
Speaker: There we go.
Speaker: That makes sense.
Speaker: Because I've never seen you play that one.
Speaker: It's one you keep on going back to.
Speaker: I guess it's easy.
Speaker: I go back to Disgaea 1, not 5.
Speaker: You go back to the Disgaea series.
Speaker: You play them all.
Speaker: I've played them all.
Speaker: The only one I wish I could play
Speaker: How do I put this one?
Speaker: Let's be honest.
Speaker: Whenever they come out with the next Nintendo generation and they release all of the games again on them, you're going to buy them.
Speaker: Just admit it.
Speaker: Well, I didn't buy six yet and seven's already on its way out.
Speaker: So I'm like, I don't know.
Speaker: I thought you got six for Christmas.
Speaker: No, I tried six at one point.
Speaker: And again, I thought it was even easier than this guy of five.
Speaker: So I was like, I'm not going to bother with that one.
Speaker: So, and now they're doing seven and they're going to drop a demo soon.
Speaker: So I'm like, I'll give the demo a shot.
Speaker: But if it feels like it's as easy or easier than six, I'm like, nah, I don't want it.
Speaker: No, I mean, unfortunately that's just kind of the way games are going now.
Speaker: Like, did you hear about the new final fantasy 16?
Speaker: I've heard a lot of things about it.
Speaker: They're so at least they're making it to where there's not difficulties per se.
Speaker: but like you, you heard about like how they were having the difficulty scale thing, right.
Speaker: Where it's like, you can equip items that effectively makes it easier as if it was a difficulty setting.
Speaker: I think it was something, it was worded something along those lines.
Speaker: I saw it and I was like, I mean, I get it for people who don't want the challenge.
Speaker: They just want the story experience, but like,
Speaker: why can't I get my super hardcore mode?
Speaker: Like if they can get the easy mode, why can't I get super hardcore mode?
Speaker: Why with games like Dark Souls and stuff like that, can I not just start out on new game plus plus?
Speaker: Why do I have to play through it three times?
Speaker: Cause I'm going to do it.
Speaker: I'm going to play through it three times.
Speaker: But by the time I get there, it's not a challenge anymore.
Speaker: It's like, I want a challenge.
Speaker: I don't know.
Speaker: I mean, I think that they've dropped the ball with that a lot lately.
Speaker: I would prefer that they... Yeah, Kingdom Hearts 3.
Speaker: Cough, cough.
Speaker: Oh, I heard that was an abomination.
Speaker: That game... I don't think it's possible to die in that game.
Speaker: I legitimately do not think it is possible to die in that game.
Speaker: Wow.
Speaker: It was depressing.
Speaker: And it's like, I love the Kingdom Hearts franchise.
Speaker: But that third game was a travesty.
Speaker: Way too easy.
Speaker: No Final Fantasy characters.
Speaker: It's completely pointless.
Speaker: I love my Disney characters, but it's Kingdom Freaking Hearts.
Speaker: Give me Cloud versus Sephiroth like they did in every other game.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: I don't know.
Speaker: Did they actually fight Cloud and Sephiroth?
Speaker: No, they never actually.
Speaker: I think maybe in
Speaker: birth by sleep you might have like seen them fight or had to fight one of them or both of them but that was kind of always the story was they were one was chased i think it was cloud was chasing sephiroth like that was always his story he shows up he shows up he's looking for sephiroth
Speaker: He shows up, he's looking for Sathroth.
Speaker: You never actually see them fight, I don't think.
Speaker: But I think maybe Birth by Sleep you do.
Speaker: That makes sense because that's pretty much what Seven was, was Cloud chasing Sathroth.
Speaker: Yeah, I mean, that's exactly why it is the way that it is.
Speaker: So, like his point in the story was...
Speaker: To do nothing with the actual Kingdom Hearts world.
Speaker: He was chasing Sephiroth.
Speaker: So.
Speaker: But it's like they don't even have that in Kingdom Hearts 3.
Speaker: It's like how are they not going to at least have that?
Speaker: Like come on.
Speaker: I think they just seriously dropped the ball in 3.
Speaker: They dropped the ball in a lot of video games.
Speaker: It's very sad.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Well I mean.
Speaker: The sad part is.
Speaker: The level designs and the bosses were good thoughts.
Speaker: Like.
Speaker: I loved the level design in Kingdom Hearts 3.
Speaker: They were fun levels.
Speaker: It's just the difficulty wasn't there.
Speaker: And the Final Fantasy character just was not there.
Speaker: And this isn't me saying, oh, it's too easy.
Speaker: This is... There is nothing... I just don't know how else to say it other than you can't die.
Speaker: I don't know a single person that played it that died, actually.
Speaker: I'll have to give it a shot so I can die for you.
Speaker: Let the youngest play it.
Speaker: They'll die for sure.
Speaker: They beat me sometimes, dude.
Speaker: Then again, they just play Minecraft, and I'm like, I have no idea how you can tolerate this.
Speaker: Dude, I love Minecraft.
Speaker: It's such a fun, relaxing game.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Well, it is fun and relaxing.
Speaker: I like sandboxes.
Speaker: I like my sandboxes.
Speaker: I like my building and stuff like that.
Speaker: I like buildings.
Speaker: I've been playing Dragon Quest Builders.
Speaker: Yeah, but you never played Ark or anything with us.
Speaker: Well, that's because I just don't have the... You never showed interest.
Speaker: No, you never showed interest in it.
Speaker: I loved Ark.
Speaker: Actually, funny thing was I didn't like Ark for the building.
Speaker: I mean, I did like the dinosaurs.
Speaker: I actually I like the one of the big things I noticed between y'all and me.
Speaker: Y'all kept trying to build bases and stuff.
Speaker: I didn't want the bases.
Speaker: I wanted, you know, a little I wanted my little workshop, which I could work on.
Speaker: And then I wanted my army of dodos.
Speaker: That's all I wanted.
Speaker: Leave me alone and give me my army.
Speaker: I always tame dodos in your honor.
Speaker: I just want you to know that.
Speaker: Well, thank you.
Speaker: Have you seen the videos of like 10,000 dodos versus every monster in the game or every dinosaur in the game?
Speaker: Have you seen those videos?
Speaker: I made them.
Speaker: That was my army.
Speaker: No, not really.
Speaker: I'll have to send you some of those videos.
Speaker: They're absolutely hilarious.
Speaker: It's armies of dodos versus things like the gigantosaurus.
Speaker: It's like 10,000 dodos versus giga.
Speaker: And you just watch like the Dodos charge up the giga chomps and they just get sent flying.
Speaker: And you know how arc is when, when stuff is happening too much, all the artifacts start happening, the stretching starts happening.
Speaker: So you just see bodies like stretching and deforming, just flying off in the distance.
Speaker: Oh, that's great.
Speaker: I will, I'll definitely have to send that to you.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: No.
Speaker: Well, if you don't have anything else, I'm pretty much done for the week.
Speaker: Yeah, like we said, not a very busy week this week.
Speaker: Well, busy, not a very exciting week this week.
Speaker: Yeah, I didn't even get a chance to read this week, so that tells you how busy and not exciting it is.
Speaker: Oh, I will say, no, actually, I do have one last thing.
Speaker: I started listening to the Avatar Kyoshi books.
Speaker: Oh, yeah.
Speaker: Yeah, I already finished the first one.
Speaker: It was about 14 hours.
Speaker: Was it good?
Speaker: No idea what happened.
Speaker: No idea.
Speaker: Now I'm going to have to listen to it again because that might just be me in my mental state right now.
Speaker: And just like everything going on around and I just didn't focus.
Speaker: That might be me.
Speaker: But yeah, I just kind of figured I'd say it.
Speaker: I thought it was hilarious.
Speaker: I finished it and have zero idea what happened.
Speaker: So all I know is
Speaker: Avatar Kyoshi is Avatar Kyoshi.
Speaker: That's about it.
