Daniela Cepeda Cuadrado, Senior Adviser at U4 Anti-Corruption Resource Centre, explains why the healthcare sector is particularly vulnerable to corruption (1:37). She shares examples of the different forms of corruption found in the six building blocks of healthcare systems (3:41). Corruption in the healthcare sector affects all countries,including developed countries (10:31). It also exacerbates health crises such as the Covid-19 pandemic (14:43).
