kati: Hi, hi, hi, hi, hi.
Kristine Zeller: Hi. Hi.
kati: You know, um I was speaking to one of my um Gen Alpha kids and um they were mentioning how... you can add an E to everything now. It's cool.
Kristine Zeller: To everything.
kati: Yeah, it's like... ah it's like Oki, or bye, or... Cutie.
Kristine Zeller: Shitty.
kati: Yeah.
Kristine Zeller: All right.
kati: Yeah, so yeah I'd like an eye and that's very Gen Alpha.
Kristine Zeller: Okay. It's also a bit annoying, so I suggest that we don't do this. Well, the rest of the podcast. But who am I to judge?
kati: Yes, and then i and then I was told that me using all these... um Done alpha words.
Kristine Zeller: It...
kati: Like I'm only allowed to do it. If before I say the kids would say like Taylor Townsend.
Kristine Zeller: Mmm. Mmm.
kati: So. There was a Taylor Townsend reference from a child of mine, which I was like, that's a score. But it was like, you have to do it like Taylor Townsend. You have to be like the kids would say, then it's okay. Everything else is no.
kati: It's not okay.
Kristine Zeller: okay Right.
kati: All right. like Okay. I'm sorry.
Kristine Zeller: Okay, you said it. You're fine.
kati: Yes.
Kristine Zeller: That's good.
kati: Welcome to the Tennis Bakery. um This is your fan podcast about Lutenis. Um...
Kristine Zeller: It is!
kati: It is. um k christina who's on the other side of the microphone and myself carty we speak about uh
Kristine Zeller: hello
kati: Tennis, our love for tennis, what's going on in the tennis world and specifically on and off the court because. We are no tennis players. in our own right well hobby may well you can give us a racket and we'll give it a swing but
Kristine Zeller: It will not be very successful.
kati: We do not. yeah No, so we're more of like the tennis viewing kind of experts.
Kristine Zeller: We are really strong in viewing tennis.
kati: um But this we do with a great passion. And so we want to share our conversations about it with you. And I have to make a disclaimer already now at the beginning of this podcast.
Kristine Zeller: Uh huh. And that is...
kati: And that is because it's NFL season.
Kristine Zeller: Mm hmm.
kati: And I am a... very passionate NFL viewer. Mm. I've been avoid...
Kristine Zeller: You want to move this podcast into an NFL podcast.
kati: yes i've decided this is turning into an nfl podcast no i'm not
Kristine Zeller: Okay, now's the time.
kati: ah um ah But because... um NFL has always played very condensed. Like in two days? around I mean, there's always like one game before, but normally two days, which means that I spread out viewing the games that I find interesting throughout ah very many days because the games are also long.
kati: This. also means that I'm completely avoiding social media. Like I'm hiding like a hermit in a hole from social media to not get spoiled.
Kristine Zeller: It's like the story of your life.
kati: This also means... It is.
Kristine Zeller: You're like hiding from spoilers.
kati: I am. I'm hiding from spoilers, but during NFL season, it's especially bad, um which means that the part of.
Kristine Zeller: Mm. Or when Novak is playing.
kati: The part of tennis off the court. Like I have no clue. like this week I didn't mind tennis spoilers like because you couldn't re -watch anything anyway in German television so either I was watching it or I was because that came on top that's also delayed my NFL watching
Kristine Zeller: Um,
kati: that the tennis of this of these days.
Kristine Zeller: Good thing that you have me.
kati: But so, yeah. Exactly.
Kristine Zeller: who has not been watching tennis a lot. but has has followed like a lot of tennis stuff that has been happening on social media.
kati: Exactly.
kati: That was my hope. I was thinking I've been watching the tennis, you've been monitoring the social media and it will be the perfect melange.
Kristine Zeller: we've We've got us covered.
kati: Yes. So here we go.
Kristine Zeller: Yeah.
kati: Now it's really hard for me to choose what to start with. I have because there's two such big topics. looming around. And I'm going to decide, just because I'm the one talking now, that I'm going to start with Norvac.
Kristine Zeller: Okay. I would have had... I'm quite sure a third topic that has been on my mind for weeks now. We have an urgent need to discuss this, but it might not be.
Kristine Zeller: Like the most recent. thing that happened so therefore I'm really fine to go ahead with your suggestions. And let's park my thing for later on. But I have.
kati: Because you're very sure what the second one is. I think you know what the second one is.
Kristine Zeller: Yes, I'm quite, well, you never know, but.
kati: yeah You never know, but okay.
Kristine Zeller: I might and might know.
kati: We'll stop.
Kristine Zeller: So go ahead. I think it's it's your stage because...
kati: We're starting with Novak.
Kristine Zeller: novac like yeah You're the biggest Novak fan.
kati: I am.
Kristine Zeller: I would also consider myself a notebook fan, by the way, but I think you're the bigger fan.
kati: You know, you realize if you're a fan when they play against your other favorite players.
Kristine Zeller: Mmm.
kati: that's when you feel it. Yeah, this is how I've discovered who I'm fan of generally in life.
Kristine Zeller: Hmm.
kati: I wait until they play against other people that I like and I realize. What's my heart saying? Because at the moment I'm actually in the phase, this is my year where I have to decide, I've decided I have to decide who my NFL team is.
kati: And this is why I'm watching so many matches because I'm trying to feel. what I feel.
Kristine Zeller: Yes, I do in general agree to the point, but like I think there can also be scenarios where you can switch your fandom. I think this is quite controversial what I'm saying just now, and I'm quite sure you will say that's not true.
Kristine Zeller: But for example, you know that I'm the biggest Carlos Alcaraz fan, and I still was kind of the bigger fan when Novak played Carlos in the Olympics final.
kati: You are.
Kristine Zeller: because I was completely rooting for Novak, because I just wanted him to win so badly. So therefore, I would say in general, I agree. But in this specific case... I allowed myself to be.
Kristine Zeller: A different fan.
kati: Yes. I don't know if you'd feel the same way now because I find your love for Carlos has also evolved. But we don't know until it happens.
Kristine Zeller: Well, I mean...
kati: Like, who did you want to win in? um Where did they play? Australia.
Kristine Zeller: and No, I would always want to win Carlos. I would always want Carlos to win now. I think in every case, because Norvac has won everything now.
kati: Hmm.
Kristine Zeller: I think he's he's kind of done. so he's he did it all so there's nothing kind of open on his to -do list.
kati: Left.
Kristine Zeller: So therefore now I'm completely rooting for Carlons.
kati: Oh, there is. There is something left to do on his to -do list because you must know that I've been searching for stuff that he still needs to do because in our other podcast, The Lifestyle of Longevity.
Kristine Zeller: Okay.
Kristine Zeller: You searched for hours and you found a small thing.
kati: I did. no no we because in our other podcast the lifestyle of longevity we had a ah guest And. As it sometimes happens, we s slipped into tennis talk. um And the guest said...
kati: Because what happened was, is the guest was talking about the greatest of all time and things. And. he had He said... Federer is the greatest of all times in tennis and I like coughed into the microphone.
kati: And Casino's like, uh -oh. Uh -oh, we're going on a tangent here. And I'm like...
Kristine Zeller: We're discussing more tennis than our longevity listeners would want us to discuss.
kati: Exactly. I'm like, s excuse me, dear guest of ours. um I don't think so. And then to avoid further discussion. um what the guest left it was was there are certain KPIs which would say that Federer is the best of all time.
kati: And maybe some people listening also think the federal is the best of all time. So I have been searching. I have been searching for what could he mean. Which KPIs could he mean that show that he is... the greatest of all time and not Novak.
kati: And we found the one. so I mean, Novak has bloody everything. What Novak doesn't have is the most ATP wins of all time.
Kristine Zeller: Okay.
kati: But he is now so close. So Federer has
Kristine Zeller: How many wins are missing?
kati: Federer has won 103 or 1. He's not continuing right, so that's the end. He won 103 ATP titles. There's actually someone who won even more. I forget who it was different era player Right. But Federer won 103.
kati: And Norvac until... yesterday had won 101. And there was a big discussion of, is he going to manage the other two? because Lately it's just been...
kati: unrealistic in the last 12 months to imagine that he would win a tournament at all, especially since his strategy had been focusing on the Grand Slams.
kati: But... There comes Shanghai. Oh, no, it wasn't Shanghai. It was Beijing. Sorry. There comes Beijing.
Kristine Zeller: but
kati: And. He does it again. Novak goes and wins Beijing. um I watched every...
Kristine Zeller: It is just crazy, right?
kati: It's crazy. and I watched all of his matches because I think anytime he plays, I have to watch because God knows how often we're still going to see him play. it's a must do. And... um The last three matches, he beat top 10 players.
kati: So this was not like some random tournament. It's a 500 tournament, but it's not some random thing where there's nobody of any... like prestige. He beats Zverev in the quarterfinals. He played amazingly.
kati: He beat Medvedev in the semis, and we will briefly touch on that. And he beat Diminor. In the final. Now both the semis and the final were both... ah ah prematurely finished.
kati: The final, because Diminor... Pretty much out of nowhere. suddenly had to stop playing. And it was weird. Did you watch it? Because...
Kristine Zeller: I did. I found it weird, I didn't see that coming at all
kati: No, because...
Kristine Zeller: It was really strange, right? Because a Novak did have a medical timeout.
kati: Exactly. ah Exactly after the first set.
Kristine Zeller: After he won the first set, right?
kati: First. Novak won the first set in a tiebreak. um Clearly. Then he had a medical timeout, seemed to be something with his tummy muscles. And then after he had finished his timeout, Dimenor took a timeout.
kati: Left the court. Came back, played one game, won one game and stopped playing. And I haven't heard until now what it is. Have you heard anything?
Kristine Zeller: No, I haven't heard of it. And I actually think he played quite well also in the first set. I didn't feel like anything was hindering him or anything was happening.
kati: No, no.
Kristine Zeller: So I don't know. I don't know what happened. I just think it is really, really, really so sad for him because he actually played well.
kati: Mm -hmm He did. I mean, it was a tie break. They were completely up to par. It was a close match. It wasn't over. It definitely wasn't over. It wasn't clear. But...
kati: Even though both people... ended up having to leave. Norvac was ahead in both matches. So even though he didn't, let's say, cross the finish line, he was leading both matches when he did.
kati: And even though I'm sure he didn't want to win like that, it's still, I think, a justified win. And if you look at the quality of tennis he was playing the the the days before, for example, against Zverev. And even before that, it was astounding.
kati: It was astounding. the level of tennis that he's been playing. so good and it's hard to watch because
kati: You saw this in the final a bit, but you saw it especially I saw it especially against Medvedev There are moments where he is literally falling apart. Like he is staggering across the court. as if he can hardly move one foot after the other. He's throwing up all over the place, like he's hiding it, but he you can you can tell he's he feels sick.
kati: I don't know. what He's not saying what it is. But there is something there. And the thing is now he's somehow found a way to then... work through that. So he doesn't have it when the match starts, it comes, but then he finds a way to like get through it. But this period takes a while. Like it takes like 45 minutes, half an hour, 45 minutes. And it is.
kati: terrible to watch.
Kristine Zeller: I hate it I really hate to watch it I feel like a person who's stopping at a car accident and kind of staring at a car accident I really hate it
kati: Yeah, yeah
kati: Yeah. But I always keep thinking he.
Kristine Zeller: ah impressive, right? how we How he comes back from this.
kati: Yeah. Totally. and I always think. He gets to choose how he wants to play. no one's forcing him to play he has enough money he has enough everything he has he doesn't need To win anything except now one more ATP tournament so that he ties with Roger.
kati: So everyone shuts up.
Kristine Zeller: No pressure.
kati: No pressure. um But yeah, I mean, Beijing might be a good place for him to go because... He has played this tournament seven times and he has won it seven times. Can you imagine?
kati: He has never lost.
Kristine Zeller: How on earth?
kati: He has never lost a match in this tournament. He's never lost a match in this tournament. How is that even possible?
Kristine Zeller: i I just think it's crazy.
kati: It's crazy.
Kristine Zeller: He can do everything, everything.
kati: Seven times. And um they were saying in the tennis podcast that I was listening to this morning, they were saying that um he has now won an ATP title in 21 consecutive years.
kati: Like that's mad.
Kristine Zeller: That's super mad.
kati: Like... How?
Kristine Zeller: It's just Novak.
kati: How can you say he's not a goat?
Kristine Zeller: It's just Novak. He's not human.
kati: No. He is the goat. Which is...
Kristine Zeller: like the absolute i think it's the absolute fucking goat i think there's not even a discussion
kati: No. there cannot be How? How would there be a discussion? But it's just amazing.
Kristine Zeller: Yeah. I mean, also his pure longevity, right?
kati: It is. It is. And this is something that I also want to get into today um because... You know, because of course the second big topic is of course thinner being out. Right. And then there's all this discussion about like, oh, what is what are all of these wins worth of Norvac or of Zverev if the other two aren't there?
kati: But them being there and the other two not being there. is also a sign of the quality of tennis you play. Apparently, Carlos Njanic clay tennis in um in a way.
kati: that wasn't good for their bodies. Right? They both just suffered severe injuries. and Apparently, Norvac... and Zverev played tennis in a way that they can endure. that they are still standing there. Norvac puking into his, into into his, his towel.
kati: Every 10 minutes. But they found a way to to manage the... The calendar, the games, the recovery, the I don't know.
kati: And that for me is also part of being a great sportsman or sportswoman.
Kristine Zeller: 100 % agreed.
kati: That's why I think you can't say we're missing the two best. We're missing when they're all
Kristine Zeller: But we're missing them. That's true, right?
kati: Yeah, yeah, we're missing them, but it's not like they're... they are the two best and everyone else is just basically second par. No, there's something that the others are doing.
kati: That is also basically. part of being a good sportsman, sportswoman, when they're all... at their best and they're all fit. I think we all agree that today. Yannick and Carlos will most likely beat everyone else. including Novak.
kati: But... um But they're not. And that's also part of the story.
Kristine Zeller: Yes, and I think that's... That's kind of... I think it's also the story of my life kind of to make. Like to to achieve a balance between. kind of strain and recovery.
kati: Yeah.
Kristine Zeller: Right. And. um I mean, for them, it's Clearly all. I think it's clearly not the money. Thud. that kind of makes them play all those tournaments and stuff and and kind of not listening to their bodies. It must be something else. I don't know.
Kristine Zeller: what it is but It - Amin. They have all the like financial opportunities to not. to not play some of the tournaments and to take better care of their body and and focus more on their recovery.
Kristine Zeller: So I think it's really... um a shame right Obviously, Carlos and Yannick being out for so long. And for Yannick, I mean, you've briefly touched on it already, right? For Yannick, it means he will not play. um for the end of the season. At least.
Kristine Zeller: right which is also not saying that he will for sure play beginning of 2027. We just. Don't know.
kati: Don't know.
Kristine Zeller: And I think also he doesn't know.
kati: Mm hmm. Mm hmm.
Kristine Zeller: And there's also um rumors going around right that he maybe needs to have some. some recovery, some surgery um on his knee. Because there seems to be a bigger issue.
kati: Yeah.
Kristine Zeller: here He's not exactly telling us what. what it is. So we don't know. And you know what, that kind of brought brought back the memories of Novak having a knee injury. I think it was.
kati: Oh yes.
Kristine Zeller: Two years ago or was it three years ago?
kati: Before Wimbledon.
Kristine Zeller: Yes, and it was he had the knee injury injury right. um after a Roland Garros, or I think he it happened in Roland Garros, and he had a knee surgery, I think.
kati: Yes. Yes.
Kristine Zeller: a few days a week or something past, or maybe two weeks past Roland Garros. And he was back playing in Wimbledon, I think two or three weeks after that.
kati: And then won the Olympics. Right after that.
Kristine Zeller: Isn't it? except Isn't that the... craziest thing I mean adding on crazy things that Novak has achieved right
kati: Yeah, to Novak. Totally.
Kristine Zeller: But this whole knee thing with Yannick just brought back this memory for me.
kati: Was it knee?
Kristine Zeller: For Nobuck?
kati: Yeah.
Kristine Zeller: Yeah, it was the knee.
kati: Hmm. Yeah, madness.
Kristine Zeller: yeah it was the knee and um yes therefore i think it's really a shame for for janek
kati: Hmm.
Kristine Zeller: i think I think it's also so hard to watch the... real or the the story, I'm not sure, that he posted um on his socials announcing that he wouldn't be playing this season. I think oh he really really looks disappointed. Uh, I mean, yeah.
Kristine Zeller: I'm also disappointed, just myself, just me personally, because he will not be playing in the ATP finals.
kati: Oh, true.
Kristine Zeller: um And so I'm traveling there and... Yes, normally I think his matches are quite boring because he is so good. So I would normally not even be such a huge fan of watching him play.
kati: Yeah, yeah
Kristine Zeller: But I mean, it's in Italy, right?
kati: Hmm.
Kristine Zeller: It's his home country. So I think it would have been a great spectacle to see him playing there. Um, Yeah.
kati: Well, maybe Musetti will now slip in because Yannick isn't there.
Kristine Zeller: Yeah, I think currently Novak would be the one.
kati: That could happen.
Kristine Zeller: slipping in, right? which obviously I'm i'm here for.
kati: But was it? Yes.
Kristine Zeller: to
kati: But Mozetti's also in the mix.
Kristine Zeller: Yes. Let's see.
kati: Which puts...
Kristine Zeller: And I mean, we will get. I mean, you never know, but we will get most likely Qawwali.
kati: Yes, also.
Kristine Zeller: another Italian. So there will be still Italians, but I mean... Yannick is the.
kati: It's different.
Kristine Zeller: Italian, right?
kati: Yeah, yeah, Yannick is of course the the Italian.
Kristine Zeller: at the moment.
kati: I mean, the largest... um Consequence. of Sina not playing anymore is that Sasha Zverev will be number one.
Kristine Zeller: Yes, and he's pottying. Like it's 90 -90.
kati: Yeah. I mean, there is a theoretical matter there is a theoretical mathematical possibility that Carlos...
Kristine Zeller: Was he even born 1990? I'm not sure.
kati: Um... becomes number one, but it's very theoretical. Like it's not going to happen because he would have to play. a certain amount of tournaments that are left between now and the end of the year, win them all. And some of them like over cross each other.
kati: So it's... it's Factually not possible, I think. So. um Yeah. Sasha's going to be number one and the question just is when's that going to happen but it will It will happen.
kati: And I think rightly so. He is the best player of 2026. What do we... Where's the discussion? Sasha Sverev is the best man.
Kristine Zeller: No, I do totally agree. I think he has earned it. He has like overcome like the biggest struggles that he had in the past and and that. is Really, really. astounding Also, given the fact that he is.
Kristine Zeller: quite oldish. um So therefore, I think he has totally earned it and deserved it.
kati: Yeah.
Kristine Zeller: um Still, I think we discussed on... one of the former podcasts, our kind of rough feelings that we also have towards Zverev because of his history. but I think when it comes to tennis, he is just.
Kristine Zeller: earned it he deserved it and Good for him. that he will most likely end the year with number one.
kati: Yes. I think it's very exciting and I'm excited to see what that does. I'm excited to see. or not excited, interested to see how the ATP deals with his number one amount announcement because I always find they're very different.
kati: Like. when Sinner became number one the first time. There was this huge... Like. communication around it bells and whistles when Carlos did there wasn't It's really random when they choose to celebrate someone becoming number one and when not.
kati: Yeah, so I don't i don't know.
Kristine Zeller: It depends on on whether their social media team is fully staffed or not.
kati: i
kati: Exactly. I think that's what it is. So I'm wondering what they're going to do now when it happens with. um with, uh, Sasha.
Kristine Zeller: Sasha.
kati: Yes. No, I'm excited for him. He is the best player of the year. And it's so cool that he's going to be number one. And I'm just very, very, very proud of him. um Other than that, just um to um finish talking about Beijing. So it's an ATP 500 with the women. It's an ATP a WTA 1000 tournament. The women are still playing. They started later. It's like a bit.
kati: I don't know. it is
Kristine Zeller: I think it's a bit strange but anyway.
kati: I know it's a bit confusing. I think in their quarterfinals at the moment. or um maybe also semis coming up. um Sabi went out early, Rybakina went out early. um yeah so there's stuff going on the women's side but because it's not progressed so long i didn't really look into that um i i wanted to add as well that norvac's games were all super long So especially like I wrote down one number when he was playing against Medvedev in this in the semis.
kati: They were in the second set and it was 2 -2 and they'd already played two hours. At 2 -2.
Kristine Zeller: How?
kati: How? It was an amazing match. It was such high quality. It was so much fun. And there, um of course, I just... to um ah mentioned that they had to finish prematurely because Medvedev was disqualified because he um hit a ball into the crowd and that hit a spectator and injured a spectator. and um any form of hitting the ball into the crowd and
kati: risking that someone gets hurt is apparently needs for disqualification. And um that happened in this case. So the moment that happened, I was like, oh, game's over. daniel and i think he only clocked it a bit later but i was like yeah no he's He's on his way out.
kati: this is going to end the, the, and being disqualified means that you like lose everything from that tournament.
Kristine Zeller: Yeah.
kati: Like you lose all your points, you lose all the money you earned until then you're just out, out. Yep.
Kristine Zeller: Yeah, he and his tempers, right?
kati: It wasn't a temper hit. It was a completely not a temper hit.
Kristine Zeller: Oh, was it not? I thought it was.
kati: No, no no no the ball like nova played the ball it hit the back It was a winner. it hit the back of the of the court it bounced back and daniel like Hit it away.
kati: But it wasn't like a... I'm so angry I'm going to hit this ball away. It wasn't. It was a hit. but it was in the direction of the crowd. And it did hit someone in the first row in the eye. So...
kati: But the thing is... Two days later, I was watching a game of Carlos where he, after he'd won a point, took the ball that he still had and kind of like. hit it into the crowd. I mean...
Kristine Zeller: Could have happened. As well.
kati: Exactly. I think they either have to like...
Kristine Zeller: but Was it with a lot of speed or something that he hit the ball?
kati: No, it didn't even look that fast.
Kristine Zeller: Hmm.
kati: But I mean, if you're in the first row and a tennis player hits it.
Kristine Zeller: Hmm.
kati: It really wasn't like with ah with ah with aggression or with... I mean, he he I'm sure it was. Not in a good mood. But um yeah, it was it it wasn't one of his his anger moments.
Kristine Zeller: Yeah, it's bad. Have you have you heard anything of the fan? Was he like really hurt? Because I haven't heard anything about it.
kati: I mean, he really, he was hanging onto like, so he was in the first row. And they showed him and... uh what they showed what they didn't show the moment of the ball hitting him but they showed him like height like leaning forward, hiding on the side.
Kristine Zeller: Yeah, I've seen that. yeah
kati: for a long time.
Kristine Zeller: Yeah. He was obviously in pain.
kati: Like he was in. He was in pain. And I mean, with an eye.
Kristine Zeller: paul
kati: but like i said i've been hiding from social media so i only know i only saw what happened there
Kristine Zeller: Yeah. We don't know. No, I haven't seen anything.
kati: Yeah. So parallel to Beijing, um the second thing that was happening was Tokyo. like ATP wise and um Carlos for example was playing in Tokyo and there were weird situations like Carlos and Sasha playing at the same time and it was like how are we supposed to know what to watch
Kristine Zeller: At different places.
kati: This is all mad. Um, And i for a while I had the feeling like all the cool kids were in Tokyo. And all the boring kids were in Beijing. Because like Tiafoe was in Tokyo.
Kristine Zeller: its my
kati: Carlos was in in Tokyo, like all the cool kids were in Tokyo doing Tokyo stuff. in the cool town of Tokyo um And yes, Carlos ended up winning that, which is great. Of course, second tournament since he came back and he went right ahead and won it, which was amazing. And what I really. um realized watching the two tournaments um bit by bit was that I really loved the ball kids outfits.
kati: Did you clock that?
Kristine Zeller: No, I didn't even. I was distracted by another thing but let's talk about that later.
kati: Yes. they They both had on. um different different outfits but they were both um baby blue themed baby blue themed and more like um sportswear outfits than like, even though one of them was a polo shirt, it wasn't very polo shirty. It was more like a sporty port polo shirt. And I then realized later on, they're both Fila.
kati: outfits So Fila does the ball kids both in Beijing and in Tokyo, and they nailed. These ball kid outfits. They weren't boring in any kind of way. I thought they were awesome. And this really cool baby blue and. um Yeah.
kati: I kind of also like the Tokyo ones a bit more. um And it was just ah really fun to watch.
Kristine Zeller: I will have a look. Sounds good.
kati: Yeah, to... to watch two tournaments in big Asian cities, I think that was really fun. And I do have something, and I know you're going to talk about Carlos, so I'm going to tell you something that I want to hear your opinions on on Carlos, and then you can go into a Carlos.
kati: Rant is the wrong word, but like...
Kristine Zeller: Frenzy.
kati: the Monologue. And that is, what do we think about her silver chain?
Kristine Zeller: Actually, that was the thing that was distracting me.
kati: Ah, okay, okay, good.
Kristine Zeller: So, well, i ah first of all, I have to start. With saying that I did not watch many games, like not watch many tennis games at all. like from whatever player, um because I just...
Kristine Zeller: I don't know. I just thought, okay. It's just the China Open. It's just Tokyo. They are not like super big events. I mean, yes, they are for the women, but I was just not. 100 % kind of invested into these tournaments.
Kristine Zeller: um And then you and I had. um, I think a meeting or something where you said, Oh. Um, but Oh no, you wrote you wrote a text message to me saying, oh, what's happening with Carlos?
kati: Mmm.
Kristine Zeller: And I was like... Okay, I was aware that he was playing the final at that time because I checked. the evening before when that final would be. But you just sending this one text kind of open up this whole box of FOMO for me.
Kristine Zeller: And I was like, seriously, like, oh my God, what have I been thinking?
kati: well
Kristine Zeller: Why am I not watching this? And I kind of. hastily bought a Tennis TV subscription. ah but but To watch like...
Kristine Zeller: I don't know, another 20 minutes. so
kati: I know it was almost the good part was over.
Kristine Zeller: Yes, I guess so. Oh, God. Anyway, so um I can use this subscription now for the upcoming Rolex Shanghai Masters, right? that That is the big tournament that's coming up next week. So therefore, I'm not kind of worried too much about this expense.
Kristine Zeller: But still, it was like funny. Anyway. um On his silver necklace. and I have been seeing it because obviously he has been he has been shown on social media all over the place, his silver necklace. So I have been seeing this.
Kristine Zeller: And I just love it.
kati: You do?
Kristine Zeller: I totally love it. I think it is a little bit like. In German you would say Asiya?
kati: Yeah, prollig, I would have said.
Kristine Zeller: polish What's the English term for that? Hmm.
kati: m
Kristine Zeller: Eh -eh. what would What would be something to describe this? It's a bit not cool.
kati: I don't know. I'm gonna Google. I'm gonna Google.
Kristine Zeller: Yes, Google it. it's It's not really cool. It's like kind of these. old Italian men, you know, kind of wearing it super darkly tanned on the beach.
kati: Oh that's cool.
Kristine Zeller: What?
kati: Bit trashy.
Kristine Zeller: Bit trashy, yeah?
kati: Yeah, trashy is a good word.
Kristine Zeller: Yeah. So I think I can totally understand if people.
kati: But old Italian men aren't trashy. Like ah you just said that, but the. I do not agree that old Italian men are trashy. I do agree that silver chains like that are trashy on young men, especially.
Kristine Zeller: Now, I always have this kind of this old Italian man with a big belly and super dark tanned and a lot of hair on his chest. And they have like gold or silver necklaces around their necks.
Kristine Zeller: And that's kind of my picture of a... Of a male necklace wearer.
kati: mm -hmm
Kristine Zeller: Woo! But I love it so much for Carlos. And I think it is just the second time that I've noticed that he's wearing quite some bold jewelry.
kati: Oh yeah.
Kristine Zeller: Because we have. We've discussed his bracelets, right?
kati: We did.
Kristine Zeller: um a while back and I also was totally there for it. So I do really love the fact that Carlos is rewriting history on necklaces for men and kind of these necklaces for men.
kati: no no no no no no No. No, no, no, he is not. k Christina.
Kristine Zeller: Are you now telling me that Sascha is doing that?
kati: First of all, Sasha is definitely the necklace man.
Kristine Zeller: Or Tiafoe, he was always wearing this big wig.
kati: Or Tiafoe. Exactly. Those two. Tiafoe even had his one upgraded before the US Open and has like an extra tennis ball on the top now full of diamonds. If anyone is flexing.
kati: Necklaces for men. It's those two first. And now Carlos comes with one teeny tiny silver.
Kristine Zeller: Not for me. I don't.
kati: I'm i'm not saying I like them. But they're definitely making statements about... necklaces for men and now carlos is coming along with a teeny tiny silver chain And he's suddenly the em ambassador and he's the ambassador for men and jewelry or what?
Kristine Zeller: Oh, I'm so here for it. I mean. He is.
kati: Ha ha!
Kristine Zeller: He is. It's my right to have this opinion. I don't like the necklace of Tiafoe. I think it is too big. I think, I mean, it's... Okay, it's fitting. It's fitting for him, yeah, but I don't like it personally.
Kristine Zeller: And I don't like the necklaces that Sascha is wearing. I just don't like it. I also don't like the fact the fus that he always.
kati: Like I said, i did not I did not say I like them.
Kristine Zeller: Huh?
kati: I did not say I like them, but they're definitely ambassador for men wearing jewelry.
Kristine Zeller: Yeah, but They don't work for me. So, but of course, Carlos necklace works for me. I think it's just beautiful. It's not too big. It's not too small. It doesn't have a strange pendant on it. It's just this beautiful silver necklace. I also like the fact that it's silver.
kati: hey
Kristine Zeller: Because I think silver has a more cool edge to it than gold, even though I also like gold.
kati: and
Kristine Zeller: But I think...
kati: his His bracelets the other day were golden though, weren't they?
Kristine Zeller: Mm hmm. Yep.
kati: Mm hmm.
Kristine Zeller: I think they were golden. And I really just love it. I think it kind of goes with his whole style with the longer hair and stuff. So I'm completely convinced. I do love it. And I was really distracted by it. and Luckily, It also distracted me from this strange kit that he was wearing.
kati: Yeah, that was it.
Kristine Zeller: Because I did not like that at all.
kati: That was.
Kristine Zeller: It was just...
kati: Weird.
Kristine Zeller: Red. red rose. I think it was not a proper color. Can't even describe it.
kati: It was more a was almost fluorescent.
Kristine Zeller: I... Just didn't like it. It was... ah No. Please no. So therefore, um i'm I'm really happy that he was wearing the silver necklace to distract me from things.
kati: okay okay okay he also has been playing around with his his how he does his hair
Kristine Zeller: Yep.
kati: So he's been working. The first games in Tokyo, he had on that Nike band that he was also wearing um at the US Open. But he didn't put it like with the US Open that you put it in the front and then underneath your hair.
kati: He was wearing it on top of his hair.
Kristine Zeller: Yeah. Yep.
kati: so and And I was distracted by that because I kept on thinking it's going to fall off. Like it doesn't hold like that
Kristine Zeller: We are all distracted by... So many things about him. Yeah.
kati: He has now reached the, I think, good solution of ah of a hair. How do you say that in English? all right
Kristine Zeller: Half in, half out.
kati: What do you call it? Hairdryer.
Kristine Zeller: Ah.
kati: HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
kati: i' almost give me a moment because this is
Kristine Zeller: Yeah. yep You can look it up. Anyway, while you look it up.
kati: Like a head, it's like a headband, like a hard headband, an Alice band.
Kristine Zeller: Yeah.
kati: Yeah, it's like an Alice band, like Alice in Wonderland would have, but with zigzags.
Kristine Zeller: Mm. Yes.
kati: And it's hard.
Kristine Zeller: I think it's very 90s.
kati: and that I think that is that makes a lot of sense.
Kristine Zeller: Yes, it makes a lot of sense.
kati: It's.
Kristine Zeller: And I always hope that he finds a solution. for the hair or like the hair band, not. kind of distracting him too much because I'm always. Borderline worried that he's annoyed by his long hair when he's playing because they're distracting him and he will cut them off.
Kristine Zeller: And I think that mustn't happen. And I think also he doesn't want it to happen because he must have been reading all the rating comments about how great it looks on him. So therefore we are all crossing our fingers for him to find a solution.
Kristine Zeller: so that he does not have to cut off his hair. this
kati: Yes, I'm hoping that for you very much. Thank you.
Kristine Zeller: Yes, we do. And um I mentioned in the beginning of our podcast that I have another thing to discuss with you that has been on my mind for weeks now.
kati: all right
Kristine Zeller: And that is the... um Outfit. Or like the picture that has been taken, the official pictures that have been taken from the Lever Cup.
kati: Right. So Laver Cup happened. Literally two weeks ago, um more than two weeks ago, and but we haven't potted since then.
Kristine Zeller: Yeah.
Kristine Zeller: Nope.
kati: We potted just before the labor cup. So this is why. you will now get a lever cup section, even though. Labour Cup is super old news.
Kristine Zeller: Yes, I will also not go into too much detail of the Labour cop.
kati: Go ahead.
Kristine Zeller: Yeah. But... The pictures that were taken. I have thoughts. They have been wearing, I mean, there's always with the Labour Cup, I do love the the official pictures that they normally do of the players um because they ah they are always put in. suits and certain types of suits. And they get all these amazing group pictures with them all standing next to each other in these amazing. kind of color coordinated suits.
kati: You know, I heard that that is not true that they always do that. I heard that.
Kristine Zeller: but It has been for the past years, no?
kati: I heard that... the suit thing is something that they do in, in the, in the ATP finals that there, there's a very traditional like suit picture and that the labor cup has occasionally adopted this, but that they have also been years where the labor cup photos were like in casual wear, whatever you wanted to wear.
Kristine Zeller: Okay. So they might have copied it. So they are not the original holders of this idea.
kati: Mm -hmm. And I think that's how it came because they tried to mix it up.
Kristine Zeller: Could be. But they were wearing all color -coordinated suits for this specific event and for this picture. And they were... Beij, beij camo.
Kristine Zeller: No, more beige coloured. Right. Or like. dark white or off -white coloured.
kati: All different.
Kristine Zeller: All different. Um, but... all with a similar color scheme, I would say.
kati: It was like summer summer suits.
Kristine Zeller: So. Yep. summer suits I think that's so that's a good word for it. And I 100 % hate all of these pictures. I think it's like kind of the worst pictures that anyone has ever taken.
Kristine Zeller: of amazing looking tennis players.
kati: and But look, I'm just showing you the GQ ones. I think they look quite cool.
Kristine Zeller: Well, okay, Deque did the best to kind of adjust.
kati: And I sent, and I also sent.
Kristine Zeller: The lighting and stuff. so
kati: And I also sent you one. here Yeah, this is the one I sent you. um which was on Sasha's... Instagram.
Kristine Zeller: Yes, i think I think there are a few snaps in there where they managed to correct the super strange lighting that was on the official pictures.
kati: Yeah, that's the thing. I think that was the problem, not the suits.
Kristine Zeller: Because I think that looked so terrible, this lighting.
kati: Hmm.
Kristine Zeller: And then on top of it. Carlos Asut, what has happened?
kati: Hm? The buggy trousers.
Kristine Zeller: Why? Because, I mean, the... the the The jacket was all right, I think. But the trousers, why? They were so wide and it looked strange. It looked as it ever if somebody...
Kristine Zeller: Would have picked him. pick them for him that have no idea of any fashion thing. So I just hated it. And I hate the pictures. And I think in general. kind of the way that they were standing there for the official picture with the strange light. No.
kati: I really think the light was the biggest problem because I'm searching the internet internet now for pictures of this shoot and there are quite a few nice ones.
Kristine Zeller: No.
kati: But the official one had the worst lighting in the entire world. I completely agree with that.
Kristine Zeller: Why? it did it It looked strange.
kati: it was That was this one. It's just awful.
Kristine Zeller: Yeah.
kati: It was awful, but don't give up when you see the official one if you're interested in this.
Kristine Zeller: No.
Kristine Zeller: Yes, but please don't look at Carlos's trousers because no.
kati: Um.
Kristine Zeller: Because just know, and I think there were a few.
kati: This was a good look.
Kristine Zeller: Yes, there are like... other looks they were great and speaking of other looks they were wearing a smoking for the evening for one of the evening events and also pictures have been taken there i'm not sure i haven't seen like an official picture in smokings of all of them i think
kati: Yes. Yes.
Kristine Zeller: Maybe there was, I can't remember, but there have been like individual pictures taken of one or two or three of them in the smoking. Huh? Okay, yeah, there is you're showing me one.
kati: The lighting is also awful.
Kristine Zeller: like looks like an official. I haven't seen that, I think.
kati: The lighting is a mess.
Kristine Zeller: Hmm. Damn. But I think they look much better in the smoking in the evening. I really, really like it when they wear that. God. So I really, really hope for the ATP finals now because they have to.
Kristine Zeller: Kind of reestablish.
kati: Suit up. Hehehehe.
Kristine Zeller: the fashionability and kind of the credibility of the fashion sense of the stylists of the tennis players, because who are we fooling? They have not picked out their suits themselves. or most of them haven't.
kati: I mean, there's even ones done with with Carlos and there's another one with dimino with selfie sticks that look better better than the official photo.
Kristine Zeller: Yep.
kati: so
Kristine Zeller: Yeah.
kati: I mean it wasn't hard to beat.
Kristine Zeller: No.
kati: I mean, in general, Labour Cup, I think, was a... was a really fun experience. It reminded me again of um why I enjoyed watching it when it was in when it was in Berlin, um because just the whole camaraderie around. them playing together as a team.
Kristine Zeller: I agree. I also enjoyed it. and I just wanted to mention one more thing on the picture.
kati: Oh sorry.
Kristine Zeller: um And then is, because... I think. almost completely in parallel, I'm not quite sure, um of the Labour Cup. There was and the Billie Jean King Cup for the women, right?
kati: ah Yes.
Kristine Zeller: Or I think it was at least very close by and in close proximity, the dates for that. And um I was wondering, why is there not such a picture for the women? I mean, not a bad one obviously, but a lovely, lovely one.
Kristine Zeller: I haven't seen one. Have you seen one?
kati: But the. yeah Yeah, but it's not the same. The Billie Jean Cup is countries against countries.
Kristine Zeller: Yeah.
kati: it's a different concept
Kristine Zeller: Yeah, I don't care, but still. There could be cool country pictures of them wearing cool things. Together on a picture.
kati: Oh, me.
Kristine Zeller: I would i would just love that.
kati: countries. I have not looked. Yes. In general, pictures of the girls together.
Kristine Zeller: Yeah, because I think always these pictures for the men, they create create quite the rumor.
kati: Yes.
Kristine Zeller: on the internet.
kati: Yes.
Kristine Zeller: And I would love to see also some pictures of the women.
kati: Hmm.
Kristine Zeller: Because as we know from... Pleased. Rebecca now. She polishes up nicely. when she's wearing like fancy stuff and of course also that that is true for for um Naomi Osaka and Sabi and and all of them, right?
Kristine Zeller: And then I would really, really love to see more of these like official.
kati: o
Kristine Zeller: pictures of the women. I think they're missing out.
kati: Yes. Yeah, the girls. The girls should...
Kristine Zeller: Maybe we'll we will have it maybe for the WTA finals. But I can't recall any such picture. For the women, can you?
kati: No. But they hang out more in their free time, so you occasionally get glimpses of them on social media together, like partying and stuff, which is also fun.
Kristine Zeller: Yep. Mm hmm.
kati: I mean, the younger crowd, right?
Kristine Zeller: Yep. But still, I'm missing that.
kati: I'm Googling WTA finals. Picture.
Kristine Zeller: Do that.
kati: Let's just see what happens.
Kristine Zeller: Are they good pictures?
kati: Oh yes.
Kristine Zeller: Ooh.
kati: Ooh.
Kristine Zeller: Why haven't you we discussed them?
kati: like Well, because we've never had a podcast.
Kristine Zeller: Huh? Huh!
kati: Yes. Look at Taylor.
Kristine Zeller: I could have sworn, I mean, you have to Google this when you're listening to this podcast.
kati: I'm showing her a picture.
Kristine Zeller: You have to Google this because this picture looks not only amazing in terms of what they are wearing, but also in terms of what they are.
kati: Yes.
Kristine Zeller: kind of set up like.
kati: I mean, there's several. There's also... um
Kristine Zeller: Gosh!
kati: They're beautiful. So please Google WTA finals picture.
Kristine Zeller: I have never seen, I could have sworn I've never seen them.
kati: I think now that I'm seeing it I saw this one and this was terrible. This was discussed on the internet. There's one where they all had to wear white by the beach.
Kristine Zeller: Oh yeah. Mmm.
kati: And there again, the lighting was a fail.
Kristine Zeller: standing in front of yeah
kati: I remember seeing that now.
Kristine Zeller: Oh, yes, I remember.
kati: And one of them wore red. It was weird. They were supposed to dress in white and they all dressed in white only. Swiantek wore this bright red dress. Do you remember? I'm sorry.
Kristine Zeller: Not to stand out.
kati: but she's not normally the one to stand out it's really especially her like eager yeah but all the other years they have been
Kristine Zeller: Mm -mm. She doesn't like that. No.
kati: stunning So the girls have absolutely nailed this WTA photo shoot thing.
Kristine Zeller: Oh God, now I'm looking even more forward to the WTA finals.
kati: They're just gonna look awesome.
Kristine Zeller: This photoshoot with this kind of camel background and they are seated on on various kind of props. Ugh. Looks amazing.
kati: Amazing. And they all clean up so nice. I mean, Zhongxin Wen in this photo here.
Kristine Zeller: Oh God.
kati: Damn girl.
Kristine Zeller: I'm really looking forward to it now. Anyway, I wanted to discuss another fashion thing
kati: Please.
Kristine Zeller: And that is this amazing Lacoste fashion show. Have you seen like the images?
kati: Yes, I had that on my notes as well.
Kristine Zeller: Okay. So. Do you want to talk about it or shall I?
kati: Well, I can lead into it that Lacoste did the, I think it's the... The summer.
Kristine Zeller: Yeah, it's spring summer 2027.
kati: Yeah, spring summer 2027 fashion show where there's always like a runway and brands. Nowadays, often choose. spectacular locations to do this and oh they did they chose the Philippe Chatrier so the central court of the French open
kati: and of joangaos and so there's this beautiful red sand and they filled it up completely with red sand so so the sand is much higher than it normally is and it was spilling like dunes into the spectator seats and then they built the the catwalk and the people and the seating for the people that were invited into this sand pit that was in the middle.
kati: It looked amazing.
Kristine Zeller: God it looked... Great, isn't it? ah The way that spilled over into the kind of the seats.
kati: An art piece.
kati: Yes.
Kristine Zeller: Ugh! God, I thought, ah oh my God, I wouldn't want to be the one cleaning this up afterwards.
kati: No.
Kristine Zeller: but It looked so cool.
kati: It looked amazing.
Kristine Zeller: Oh, that would have definitely been a... Show that I would have loved to be invited to.
kati: yes but there were much less people than normally at the shows right because there wasn't that much space there was really few people and i i started reading a few articles where the discussion was how brands are basically leapfrogging onto
Kristine Zeller: Oh.
kati: tennis to um basically make themselves look better by associating themselves with tennis. And this was mentioned, but I think if a brand has the right to do that, it's Lacoste.
Kristine Zeller: Yes. 100 % agree. I think another one that might have the right would be like... um Raph Lauren in Wimbledon.
kati: h Yes.
Kristine Zeller: So that... I see those two brands, but for Lacoste, I think it's 100 % kind of true to brand.
kati: Yeah.
Kristine Zeller: I don't have like an irritation with this at all.
kati: Totally.
Kristine Zeller: Also, I really loved the fashion that they were showing. Oh, there have been some outfits that have been more or less in the similar color scheme as the sand or as the clay. And they were like kind of tone to tone all over in this color. And oh.
Kristine Zeller: They looked amazing. They have been working also with different kind of material, like these kind of wet looking satiny. Hmm. light materials and stuff they did some great layering i loved it i think it's very kind of mainstreamy also. I think it appeals to many people. I think it just looks amazing. um And I really have like a close eye on several of the Lacoste items that have been. have been shown.
Kristine Zeller: And also I like the fact that Grigor Dimitrov was there. And he...
kati: oh he was i didn't see that that's nice
Kristine Zeller: looked well. He was also wearing kind of a... Similar colored um outfit as the clay. So it looked amazing on him. And he, I mean, he always looks amazing, right?
Kristine Zeller: but in this outfit especially and i think it it was just so cool that he was there and
kati: Yeah.
Kristine Zeller: I loved everything about this fashion show.
kati: yes i agree it was amazing go check that out if you guys are interested. in that um I think that was also the last thing on my list.
Kristine Zeller: I have one more short thing to mention.
kati: Go ahead.
Kristine Zeller: And that is the post that Emma Navarro posted.
kati: Oh yes.
Kristine Zeller: um A few days or weeks.
kati: Mmm. Oh God. Okay. That's not a short thing really, but go ahead.
Kristine Zeller: Back.
Kristine Zeller: Yeah, I think we have to make it short because the podcast is already quite far advanced, but I think it just is such a brave and great. thing to do because she posted quite a lengthy post on Instagram, and that's at least where I saw it, where she talked about the fact that she discovered, I think end of last year, that she suffers from Red S, which is kind of um an illness that occurs when you fuel your body not enough. um for the needs that it has basically. And um things that normally are associated with it would be that your period is stopped. stops coming she didn't say that I think but that's something that often happens then. um And then also you are more fatigued. um She mentioned that she had had
Kristine Zeller: All the time she was hungry. like all all day she couldn't think of anything else but But eating? And um she has had this condition for years, it sounded like.
Kristine Zeller: And I was thinking, oh, my God. This is so crazy because it is. Another one of these examples where Women are kind of...
Kristine Zeller: praised for losing weight, for being thinner. Also, in parallel to that, The thing that happened was she. had a lot of success Right. So it was seen as, you know, kind of she's thinner now and she's. fitter maybe. And that's why she has all this success. And.
Kristine Zeller: Oh God, I think this is just such a toxic spiral for this poor woman.
kati: Yes.
Kristine Zeller: to be in, for being praised for all of that, but you are just feeling that something is so completely off with your body. But then everybody's praising you. You have more success than before. And you think, oh God, that.
Kristine Zeller: might be it it it might be just what I have to the like the price I have to pay for being successful
kati: Yeah, yeah. Mm hmm.
Kristine Zeller: And I feel so sorry for her that she had to endure this for such a long time. And you know what I was thinking when I was reading this? is How can it be that a female or like any athlete experiences this for such a long time without anybody noticing this?
Kristine Zeller: How? Because I think Red Airs is not... like an illness that's... A, seldom for professional athlete athletes, especially female athletes. and B, like people know about this.
Kristine Zeller: that Doctors should know about this. Like that their teams should know about this. That should be something that... kind of is more or less routinely checked for at least female athletes.
kati: Well, it's not something that's so easy to diagnose, I think. It's not like it's a blood marker where you take the blood and it's like, oh yeah, you have red S.
Kristine Zeller: Yes, but if you're ah currently fatigued, you're currently thinking of food, right?
kati: It's a very complex.
Kristine Zeller: That's what she was describing in her post. That should have...
kati: Yeah but this is something where she has to talk.
Kristine Zeller: Alarm some people.
kati: Right? She has to talk.
Kristine Zeller: Yes?
kati: The fact that her period is is not coming is something that she needs to tell someone.
Kristine Zeller: Yes.
kati: The fact that she's miserable.
Kristine Zeller: She didn't mention her period in the... I don't want to...
kati: but it would have been a typical symptom right it would have been a typical symptom but so if that could have been something that someone could have realized but how she has to say it the fact that she's constantly miserable and hungry is also something she needs to say it this is different than like a limp or a bump and I think that the challenges is that so much of the team supporting the players are focused on the performance
Kristine Zeller: Yes, yes. Yep.
kati: And she was working, right?
Kristine Zeller: Yes, but I think it's also part of a good team and a good coaching coaching team to kind of realize, is she mentally?
kati: Oh yeah.
Kristine Zeller: no Well, physically and mentally resulting from it.
kati: Oh, yeah, but i can but I can imagine how it happened. Yeah, but i can I can imagine how, because you just said, how does that happen? And I think that's how it happens.
Kristine Zeller: Yes, that's how it happens, but I would really want kind of the, at least of the female athletes, like the coaching team.
kati: These people are employed. Yeah.
Kristine Zeller: So be more aware of this more. like kind of focused on preventing this from happening or putting things in place and or like have regular i don't know what check -ins or questionnaires or measurements of the females I don't know.
Kristine Zeller: whatever they are saying like fatigue or whatever right so i think it is just I mean it has been going on for years for that poor woman. How?
kati: yeah yeah
Kristine Zeller: And it's not it's not seldom that it happens. So I think it was also really brave. of her to speak up. Because for for many um athletes, this is also kind of a bit of a shame to admit. They have it.
Kristine Zeller: And I really hope that this kind of prevents other. women from from suffering from it in the future, because they hopefully will will be more aware.
kati: Yes. Yeah, I mean, it's such an important topic, also for young. female athletes and in general professionals to just be aware of these topics. But as with so many female related illnesses, it's just often not spoken about. really. So Very many people are just not educated in it. And um but I agree with you. And also, this is another reason why I think it would help if more female tennis players had. female Trainers.
kati: Coaches. or other stuff. uh that is female in their teams, which is so seldomly the case. And that's how things like that is ignored. Even more.
kati: Right. So. I think it's a good. another good reason to to to speak out for the support of. more female coaches and find ways to support them getting into the into the system.
Kristine Zeller: Yes.
kati: So I think that's it for today.
Kristine Zeller: Yeah.
kati: And for these two weeks, we will be back again in about two weeks. Or will we?
Kristine Zeller: I think so.
kati: Am I lying?
Kristine Zeller: Are we not?
kati: Because that's holiday season. Because we are all...
Kristine Zeller: Well, we'll be back when we'll when we will be back.
kati: we
kati: We will be back. Oh yeah. Yes. Interesting. It says we'll be back um during holiday season, but I'm not taking my microphone, so that's going to be an exciting experiment. All right. Anyway, have fun watching Shanghai, people.
kati: um enjoy yourselves and um have really good time and we will see you soon bye
Kristine Zeller: ah e
