Happy New Year everyone. I’m excited for the year ahead and I can’t wait to share more inspiring stories with you all. For many of us January can symbolize a fresh start or a new beginning. But it’s important to realize that we can make changes at any moment in our lives regardless of the day, month or year. Set a goal, make a plan and take the necessary steps to get there.

On this episode of Just In Stride, get ready to be inspired by Paralympic bronze medalist, keynote speaker and author, Kevin Rempel.

Kevin grew up learning how to work hard and the value of a dollar. He also loved motocross and the thrill it gave him. Until one day, a tragic accident took that away and at 23 he was told he would never walk again.

Today, Kevin has defied the odds, learning to walk again, becoming an Paralympic athlete in sledge hockey, speaking in front of large audiences and even wrote his own book. He speaks passionately about what he calls “The Hero Mindset”, where by focusing on small things that make a big difference we can become a hero in your own story.
