Speaker: Here's what you need to do. up Welcome back to the Lead with Legacy podcast. I'm your host, Vanessa Mariah. All right, let's get into it. here's As you can tell... I don't love intros. I just like jump right into the shits, okay? When the message is coming through, it's coming through. So let's fucking go.

Speaker: thought of today. What do you do when you're struggling with trusting? Your inner voice. versus what A...

Speaker: strategists or someone someone whose advice you highly value like how how do you discern between like your inner voice versus trusting someone who might be quote -unquote leaps ahead of you, like more successful, more money, more whatever.

Speaker: When you're in that situation, it can be so tough because here's the thing. You've invested money into strategic spaces and you invested money into several strategic spaces because you appreciate these people's expertise.

Speaker: You love what they built. You know they're fucking smart. But here's what you have to remember as well. is that their instincts, they're very strategic and that's powerful. And what tends to be missing in the conversation when it comes to strategy, when it comes to building, is that any...

Speaker: strategist that you're ever going to learn from Yes! They have their methods, they have their processes, but you want to know how ah how a lot of them came to.

Speaker: even develop their methods and their processes that they're teaching you they trusted their fucking instincts. They trusted their instincts.

Speaker: obviously now when we talk about sales psychology and that sort of thing like That backing. Yes. Absolutely, like take that in. but You could literally try GPT right now, Cell Psychology 101 and use that as a baseline and then run with that shit like and just.

Speaker: execute so much like get out of your head don't overthink when you have just deep conviction and self -trust and belief in yourself and you're wired into the identity of your next level of self you're prioritizing doing that rewiring on yourself you will just move and take action you can run and make results with the the baseline bare minimum understanding of just cell psychology 101 and you can you want to know how i know no you want to know how you already know this to be true is how many freaking entrepreneurs have you looked around at

Speaker: And they've created created so much success. And you want to know. What I've heard listening to story after story of six, multi -six, seven, even eight figure entrepreneur.

Speaker: they all say the same thing they say i don't even fucking know how i got here I just moved. I don't even know how I got here. I just kept taking action and trusting myself on what is the next thing I needed to do. I just listened to that thing inside of me that told me what is the next thing that I needed to do.

Speaker: everyone says that but when you're in this space of wanting to become more excellent and more skilled in strategy. Obviously, You can kind of get lost in the sauce and forget that. And it makes sense because like, yes, we want you to have a greater ah toolbox and understanding of strategies.

Speaker: For your business and how to make a business grow and what's working in your market and what's not working and how Buyer behavior is doing and all that shit like yes You want that but here's what you need to understand moving forward. Holy shit, dude your identity, who you're being in the world, how you're showing up, that is 80 % of your business success.

Speaker: Okay? The biggest thing that I want you to remember right here. is that You're not supposed to outsource your authority to some fucking mentor to strategy. You're not supposed to do that.

Speaker: Increase your skill with strategy, but strategy is meant. to sharpen. your instincts. not replace them. I'm going to take a sip of coffee so you can let that land.

Speaker: Strategy. Is meant to sharpen. your instincts. Not. Replace them. The methods that you're...

Speaker: Strategists are teaching you. That they have formed. You got to know that they formed these methods. to teach you

Speaker: On a baseline foundation of trusting themselves and trusting their instincts and moving so fast, taking action, making decisions so quickly, getting out of their head and out of overthinking that they got to the point of creating enough results where then. They were able to give you Their framework, their methodology, their way of thinking. But it cannot replace your way of thinking. Because remember, you are a 1 in 8. billion soul on this planet.

Speaker: Nobody. nobody even me as a trained intuitive i can go and i can like channel things from your higher self i can go in and look at like hidden patterns and running in your subconscious right now that are currently capping you and currently limiting you and even with that even with that I don't have the full context of your exact form.

Speaker: full life and Every nitty gritty single second detail inch of exactly what you're living through and exactly what your intuition intuition is constantly telling you on a literal millisecond to millisecond basis.

Speaker: So even I, as a trained intuitive who I can give you pinpointed information, I can tell you, hey, if you do this action, it's going to create a result like this based off your current energy. It's going to do this. This is what's going to happen. You're not going to like this happiness, satisfaction levels.

Speaker: On a scale of zero to 100%, like I can literally tell you all that and even that, even that, even with that. That does not replace your own intuition. your own instincts, your own intuitive knowing.

Speaker: You have to fuck around and find out what your pathway is. Because have you ever considered the fact that the very... person right now. that you are people because let's be real you're multiple strategic spaces you're hearing different voices you're even probably scrolling on instagram or linkedin you're taking in the podcast you're reading the books because you're such like a ah very intellectual person you're smart as fuck so you're like learning and you love learning and from other people and you love and.

Speaker: taking on the wisdom of other people to help you make less mistakes. so you're doing all that so you're hearing all these fucking voices to the point that it it You can see someone.

Speaker: who is quote -unquote more successful than you, but have you ever considered that your meant to be more successful. than them.

Speaker: Let me sip my coffee again.

Speaker: Let that land. Because that's really the game that we're playing here, my friend. You are one in eight billion. Your team is you and God.

Speaker: Your higher self led you down the pathway to getting more strategy, to getting more understandings, to learn from other people's wisdom, to enhance your own instincts and your own soul pool and your own intuitive knowing.

Speaker: not to replace it. So personally for me, I will tell you. I would rather like, and I, it took me a bit to come to this point of really realizing like, yeah, this is where I stand 10 toes down behind. I would rather.

Speaker: If I'm ever in a position where I'm hearing conflicting voices, I would rather get still and be like.

Speaker: I can see. i'll see I'll see both perspectives like okay I can see what they mean. Like these are people whose opinions and experiences I highly respect and I highly value. And I'll even consider.

Speaker: Okay. What if I did play in that arena? Like i'll I'll let myself consider it, but guess what? What's the ultimate authority? And what's ultimately making the decision? is I'm going to sit.

Speaker: With my thought of... Would I feel better? For going with their advice. Or is my deep inner knowing telling me something different?

Speaker: Because here's my thing, and you don't have to agree with this, but I've just made peace with the fact that like because I'm just so... like Let me tell you, when I was being the least strategic, least listening to other people's voices and just fucking moving and going and flowing, that's when I was experiencing the most freaking mind -boggling, easy, like...

Speaker: Shit was just happening success things were just happening. I was just moving. I was I wasn't overthinking I wasn't being overly strategic and I was being really mindful apologies if you can hear the um airplane in the background, by the way.

Speaker: Let me close my windows. But I was just being really mindful. About. Oh my gosh, this plane made me lose my thought. I mean, let me write it back. When.

Speaker: I get to an overly strategic mode and you have to know that line for yourself. It dilutes my voice. It creates confusion because there's just too many other voices. It creates too much noise where then I can't hear my own soul signal.

Speaker: Because your soul... is a one in eight billion soul, it's going to guide you. Bro. I went from... being so insecure low self -image God gives me this this vision of me being on stages I'm like in photo shoots I'm helping so many people all this shit and I'm like what was that I didn't have a freaking strategy I just followed the vision I followed the pull I kept following like I just followed what felt right, what I needed to do next. The thing that I knew I needed to do next was master being in partnership with my mind. This was 12 years ago.

Speaker: And I go from that to suddenly I'm like a team leader at a, going from very insecure to being a team leader at a $10 million dollars per year restaurant, leading a team, people looking to me as the authority.

Speaker: i'm making calls i'm only 20 years old so then after that i'm modeling i make it into spaces and rooms with celebrities and mega influencers that take people f freaking years of grinding to get into i did it in eight months I wasn't trying. I was just following the pull. I became the ah chief marketing officer, a CMO of Commercial Real Estate Network by the time I was 25. I wasn't over strategizing. I was just following the pull.

Speaker: I've lived so many lives. I've experienced so many different success levels. I've been in rooms where 100 million is literally just like a normal casual Tuesday conversation. like And... It was when I wasn't strategizing. Each time that I got clients with the most ease, it was when I was just kind of like,

Speaker: following my baseline understanding of strategy. And I wasn't even thinking about strategy. I was just moving. I was just moving, but... And because I had exposed myself to strategy, it was just like in my brain on an unconscious level. So I didn't really have to think about it. It was just I had ingested enough of it that it was just kind of like an. autopilot sort of thing.

Speaker: of Bing. Strategic. And that's what you have to remember. You're not a freaking newbie. Brand new to business. If you were brand new to business, I'd say something completely different. But you need to freaking check yourself. You've been in this game for a while now. You've built to...

Speaker: six figures even if you haven't built to six figures yet even if you've only hit for even if you've only signed the Three clients before, ever. You have a baseline understanding.

Speaker: Enough of an understanding. That when you go into a highly strategic space. Please do not. Leave your own instincts outside of the room. Please keep your intuition. Please keep your instincts.

Speaker: This is what I was saying before in this freaking plain distracted what I was going to say. At this point, and you may not agree with this, I'm at this point. Where if I'm ever between. What a strategist is telling me.

Speaker: Whom I love and highly respect and is... quote unquote, like, ahead of me if i'm ever In a position where they're telling me something, but my gut is telling me something else. My instincts, my intuition is telling me something else.

Speaker: I would much rather follow my own instincts and fail. quote unquote, because failure is not. It's just feedback. I would rather. follow my own instincts and have it not work out.

Speaker: than to follow their advice and then have it not work out because here's the real nobody is a freaking Full blown genie. I mean, again, if you have trained intuition, like I can't actually kind of tell you what the fuck's going to happen, but. I can.

Speaker: But still, again. Most people... Don't even have that skill set, especially strategists, because people who tend to be like more strategists, they're not f freaking spending.

Speaker: hundreds of hours training their intuition to be an intuitive. and tell you what the frick and all that stuff. And then let alone... training in dark force clearance to make sure their intuition is accurate AF and all that. So this is truly going to be like, anytime you're in a strategic space, you got to remember, bro, they don't have a crystal ball.

Speaker: They don't have a crystal ball. And what I've seen. is the frustration and disappointment. like i've seen this bro i can see i can see it coming when i'm in certain rooms certain spaces where i'm having certain conversations with people and it's like i can see when they're outsourcing their authority to a strategist i can see when they're looking for a permission slip and i've done this before, by the way. Like, I'm not, like...

Speaker: I'm speaking from experience. Because it is heavy. And it feels... Ugh. gross, disconnected. to be in a position where you're constantly like looking for a sort of permission slip and you don't even realize you're looking for a permission slip you're outsourcing your authority you don't even realize You are outsourcing your authority.

Speaker: You don't like it it. Deadass be unconscious for real. And. I just see. This is why you see like how many people have you been like, oh my gosh, I work with this business strategist and oh. What a waste of money. It was a scam. It was this. It was that. And it's like...

Speaker: These disempowered people. Complaining and being victim me and it's because well you went into the environment from a disempowered standpoint now I have not ever had that i've not ever been like fuck this coach blah blah blah because like I I take personal responsibility for every decision and I genuinely believe there's no such thing as a bad investment. Every investment you can learn from and be a better entrepreneur from even the quote unquote. Bad ones.

Speaker: But anyways, that you hear these disempowered clients, disempowered people who are like, oh, it was such a scam. I did this. I did exactly what they told me to do when it didn't work. Yeah.

Speaker: Because you did. exactly what they told you to do. and you're bitter as fuck now, and complaining about this strategist, this coach, because your intuition and your own instincts were constantly trying to ping you to do something else and to trust yourself. But what did you do instead? You outsourced through authority. you gave You gave it to them. So then when things didn't work out, you did exactly what they told you to do when it they didn't work out. Do you know how much of a fucking, he ah you feel like on the other side of that? like Bro.

Speaker: and Now, if your strategist is... Telling you something. And when I say strategist, like... i I mean this in like a plural way because you're at this point, you' you're in multiple strategic spaces.

Speaker: Or you have been, you learn from several people. But when your strategist... gives you advice or tells you something. And even if it feels like there's a difference when. What they're saying just feels kind of stretchy.

Speaker: And you're like. Mmm... fuck that feels stretchy but like i can see that and you have a deeper thing inside of you that's like oh that feels so stretchy but like i know i need to do that That's one thing.

Speaker: That's completely different than Your strategy is telling you something. And then something inside of you is just like, oh. I don't know about that No, i like I really don't know, but I actually feel like I should do this instead.

Speaker: Yeah. I would much rather. You. Do. the thing that you like you you're feeling so much like friction inside of your head and chaoticness inside of your head because you're having all these conflicting voices inside of your head and you're like what do i do i would rather you get still enough to hear your own voice that's saying Do this.

Speaker: And then do it. Like. Do it. Unless you can stomach taking your... the other person's advice, the strategist's advice, your mentor's advice, and them being wrong.

Speaker: If you can't stomach them being wrong. When your intuition was telling you to do something else. then you need to do the thing that your intuition is telling you. If you can stomach.

Speaker: You putting in 100 % intentionality and effort. into what your strategist has just told you to do. And it could still not work. If you can stomach that and you can like take personal responsibility for that. And that feels.

Speaker: Like you can accept that. then do that. Because that shows that you are in more of like a power position that shows that you're. you're operating more from like, okay, ah this feels stretchy, but like, I'm going to do this. I want to see what happens. Like ultimately what you have to remember, dude, is that business is an experiment.

Speaker: It's a never -ending experiment. Who you hired, your strategist, the people who are more successful than you. All they can, they get they're teaching you from their own model of the world. They're teaching you from their own memories. They're teaching you from their own experiences. They're teaching you from the clients and their world that they've attracted.

Speaker: That's why every strategist who like has conflicting advice, all of them are right. Because all their realities have proven them to be correct. Which is why you should this this thought should now free you to trust yourself more.

Speaker: This should free you to trust yourself more because if everyone's f freaking right. because their reality has proven them to be correct, then guess what? You could fuck around and find out by following your instincts of what you need to do next. You could fuck around and find out that despite everyone telling you it's a bad idea, you were right.

Speaker: Because you followed that nudge. You followed your soul pool. Your soul pool is nothing that anybody else is here to understand. That is a pathway, your legacy identity, your legacy pathway, your highest timeline. That is a pathway that is between you and God.

Speaker: And you have to remember that. You have got to remember that. No f freaking mentor, no f freaking strategist. They're not on a pedestal. I don't care how successful they are. You have no idea how successful God is trying to help you become.

Speaker: You have no idea. their Their sole contract could be they're only here to help 20 ,000 people and you could be the one that's here to help millions. But if you're following their f freaking plan. and their knowing and what reality has proven to them to be true and their model of the world and their context of what twenty thousand helping 20 ,000 people can look like, then you will never get to your million. people.

Speaker: that you're here to help. You won't get there unless you have a Ooh, a deep, strong foundation, my friend, in trusting yourself, trusting your instincts. Marketing, remember this. Marketing online is supposed to make you second. Guess yourself.

Speaker: Marketing online is supposed to agitate you. That's not a bad thing by the way. Okay. It's your responsibility to have the discernment. to to make sure that your intuition and your instincts stay in the room. It is your responsibility to look.

Speaker: beyond the marketing. It's your responsibility to check in on yourself on if you've been connected to your inner voice. and your own intuition.

Speaker: And then it's your responsibility if you haven't been to go fucking unhinged. AWOL and and then that means you need to implement the protocol of getting your voice and your intuitive knowing back online before you're taking in anyone else's voices like when you disconnect from that and you And you catch it.

Speaker: Please don't keep putting yourself in that environment. You need to get your self -trust and your conviction and your instincts tapped back in and turned up. the volume on it again before you go back into that space to make sure when you go back into that space, you are rooted in the leader that God has called you here to be. You're not putting anybody on a pedestal.

Speaker: You know. Your soul knows. how to create. the most wild success. Okay. It's the reason why you've created the level of success that you've gotten to today and have more or less.

Speaker: Fucked around and done it. Kinda by accident. And when you get way too overly strategic. and following other people's voices and other people's advice you lose the exact magic That got you.

Speaker: to where it is that you are today.

Speaker: And this message is especially for you if you've invested heavily in strategy and you've been like, what the fuck? It feels even harder to sign clients now. What the frick? It feels even more like.

Speaker: Like, harder to get that attention and to get the the man and like why why was this once easier before and now it doesn't feel consider the fact that at some point You might have stopped trusting yourself and you might have dropped out of the energy of conviction.

Speaker: in yourself. In your offer, bring to the world in your services. And therefore, because you're missing, you got all the strategy, but now you're missing the essence. You're missing that oomph. That is what is diluting your magnetic Poor. to pull in the souls that are here to work with you.

Speaker: Because they cannot see you. They will not feel your signal. coming from your soul, radiating from your soul, if it is diluted, and polluted by two many fucking other voices, too much strategy. The success you're here to create, you have to remember, is illogical. Business is not super logical.

Speaker: They're simply patterns Of things at work. Cell psychology, strategy, that's what it is. like Strategy is really just like pattern recognition of what works. But you you you could have a whole different thing that people haven't even done before.

Speaker: Or tried it in a specific way before. You could be a literal trailblazer. But you're not going to freaking bring into the world what hasn't been brought into the world yet. What God wants you to bring bring into the world that hasn't gotten to the world yet.

Speaker: Because you're not trusting yourself. And you're not trusting your instincts. Damn. Ugh. If you're like getting really back into your flow and business.

Speaker: I know that because you're such a doer, your first... Your first... instinct is going to be let me get strategy and that's Beautiful. And that's fantastic. It's great for you to sharpen your skillset with strategy. But again, you just need to make sure when you're in these rooms, in these spaces, listening to these podcasts, reading these books, that these are only...

Speaker: meant to sharpen your instincts. Not. Replace them.

Speaker: Okay, I'm gonna end this here. I could really keep going on this because holy shit. But I love you so much. If you love this episode, Please leave a five -star review. Share this with a friend. Let's get into more ears because every entrepreneur who's creating a big -ass vision will go through this.

Speaker: will go through kind of losing themselves, will go through kind of getting disconnected from their voice, will go through, you know. Trying to start getting into the doing, doing, just telling the thing to do and I'll do it. And disconnect from.

Speaker: The essence. The logical essence. that radiates deep inside of you. Dad. Moves. reality. In your favor. for you to walk your highest timeline path.

Speaker: All right. SIGH Let's keep going, babe. I'll catch you in the next one.
