Sully Shaheed: It is the week six edition of the DFS Deli where the horses prepare for battle. but victory comes from the Lord. This week, we will discuss everything that happened in week five, what to expect in week six, and of course, give you better time management skills than the Washington Commanders. So sit back. Sully Shaheed: WAAA - Welcome in to the DFS Deli. I, of course, am the proprietor of this delicatessen, Saleh Ali Shahid, and we are joined on this fine Wednesday night. A little ah little little on the chillier side after work record -breaking temps here in Cleveland, Ohio, yesterday.
Sully Shaheed: Only in Cleveland where you could. turn your heat on one day and have to turn on the AC the next. then turn the heat back damn on. So. It's a beautiful Wednesday night, chilly. Baker: I mean, we're great. We're looking forward to the festivities. we're I'm looking forward to speaking on the mic. Not as the best man, but as a fantasy football punishment, ironically. Um...

Chilly: Yeah, it's going good. I can't really complain um Didn't have the greatest week last week, but... uh Did play... Had a lot of the right plays, but the rest of the lineup kind of bombed. So the process is good. We just got to smarten up on some of the secondary choices. but ah It's week six. I'm getting ready to dive on in. I'm doing some notes over here. on on on the bus, so when we get there, we get there. but You know.

Sully Shaheed: uh, you know, We should have known 66 % on Michael Wilson wasn't going to win you a tournament. You know, you got to take shots at fading some of these guys. ah The nut last week was you know guys like Drake May.
Sully Shaheed: Jordan Love. you know Getting a piece of that game was great. However, stacking the entire thing was not the move. you know There was fantasy goodness to be had within that game, especially on the Detroit side. ah You know, Jamison Williams, Jameer Gibbs. guys like that. But I think I need to play with a more tournament.
Sully Shaheed: Minded approach this week because last week I felt like I took a step back again played like a bitch And, you know, we cast. We made money. you know But that's not why we enter tournaments. We end the tournament to win.
Sully Shaheed: the tournaments. Cuz that's where all the money is, is up top. Cashing is cool, but if you want to just get in double up. Play cash. And we don't do that here in the DFS Deli. We we like to.

Chilly: When Sean McVay did that press conference and said everything's being evaluated, I'm like, that kicker just lost his job.

Sully Shaheed: But you know what? I mean, I know we're a forward thinking show and obviously you know the result came better for me as a Bills fan. But... They were carving the bills the entire night.

Chilly: against ah the Buffalo Bills this week. So if you guys want to indulge on some Kirko chains, we just dive right on on into some quarterbacks here.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, I think it's time to... ah Run it back because I'm actually. Contemplating. Probably going to do it. play Kirk Cousins this week.
Baker: You should.
Sully Shaheed: ah he's probably He's probably number one or two on my list of quarterbacks that I would like to use this week. Obviously, he's in that 4 o 'clock Yammer spot. in Vegas hosting the Buffalo Bills. And as we've seen from this Bills defense time and in time again throughout the season is that they're secondary and they're hurt more now because they. They they lost, I think. Christian Benford. I don't know if Christian Benford got back into the game. I know.
Sully Shaheed: um CJ Gardner Johnson did come back after his injury. But this secondary is bad. I mean, and Vegas, as you've seen. doesn't have a propensity to run the ball anyway. And Buffalo's greatest strength is their defensive line, their ability to pressure the quarterback. However,
Sully Shaheed: attacking them through the air, especially at the wide receiver one and tight end position where we obviously will talk. about our client later. But Kirkle Chains does has a does have a solid matchup. against a leaky. Buffalo Bills defense. So he's number one for me.
Sully Shaheed: for the time being We still got to wait on some injury news with Lamar, of course. I think that. even though the low total in the Browns -Ravens game could scare some people off. Even if we don't get Lamar, we do get a cheap Tyler Huntley.
Sully Shaheed: um So I'd be fine with that as well. But I think I'm going to stick to the cheaper side only because I think a lot of the ownership this week is going to go to Joshua Patrick Allen and for good reason. But if anybody watched that Rams game is that they tried to play. Ball control, conservative.
Sully Shaheed: you know, Pick your spots. and take the place when they they happen until he had to turn into Superman. And he only turned into Superman on the ground. ah you know, nine pass attempts in the first half.
Sully Shaheed: is not indicative of... Tournament winning scores. and obviously tack on his price tag. It's not a place I'm looking to go. Obviously, I'll be rooting for the Bills. but in my DFS lineups to make me money, ah Josh Allen is probably at the bottom of my list this week of playable quarterbacks. But again, I do like Kirkle Chains this week. um Baker, where are you headed? Are you staying on the Kirkle bandwagon with me, or do you have some others on your radar?
Baker: Oh, well i'm very I'm very much so on Kirk Cousins for all the reasons that you just mentioned. Obviously, Buffalo. I'm not saying that they're a funnel of any sort specifically. I think you can kind of do what you want.
Baker: um If you want to get them on the ground, if you can get them on the ground. If you want to get them in the air, you can get them in the air. I think that Buffalo is going to. Push Vegas. where New England pushed Vegas last week as well, but Vegas just couldn't respond, unfortunately. I think in this situation, I think that Vegas can bounce back. offensively.
Baker: um Two. ah push this game to actually maybe get a Super Josh game. Sunday night's game was weird. Or Monday's game, sorry, not Sunday night. Monday night's game was weird in the the way that they called that game.
Baker: Obviously, they leaned more on the run. So I think it has potentially all of us interested in playing James Cook. it Depending on what Josh Allen's ownership is coming in as, it sounded like early in the week it looked like it was going to be kind of high.
Chilly: Peace. he's He's currently the chop.

Baker: Yeah, if he remains that, then i can now I'll definitely be out on him. But if for whatever reason that drops...
Baker: monday's are sunday Yeah, Monday's game was just weird. The way they called that game, none of it made sense in the fact of Josh Allen being limited to throw the ball. So.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, I mean, 19 passes, it's not Josh Allen's game.
Baker: Amen.
Chilly: And...
Sully Shaheed: um but But, again, they played ball control, and I was fine with that because you definitely don't want the Rams. offense on the field as much as possible. And I think they figured out that their defense is trash.
Sully Shaheed: And if you want to keep. your defense off the field keep your ah offense on the field so yeah it was a lot of running a lot of short passes a lot of ball control time of possession And not saying they they have to or are going to do that against the Raiders. However.
Sully Shaheed: If this is a trend where it's. The Bills are going to play this slow pace, just like we saw a little bit midseason last year of the dink and dunk offense that they were running. They were just all ball control.
Sully Shaheed: So we're not getting those super Josh performances unless it's a team that pushes them. And I don't know if Vegas will be able to do it. um which is kind of tempering my expectations about Kirk Cousins. The total is a good total. um Let me see. What is it?
Baker: 53, 52.
Sully Shaheed: 53 and a half. I think. I think Vegas has that wrong. and they're in vegas i think that has that wrong i i want to say that that might hit the under I'm more interested, honestly.
Sully Shaheed: In the Rams -Cardinals game? 51 and a half? ah
Chilly: and
Sully Shaheed: I don't know, maybe you guys can convince me otherwise.
Baker: number I think the number one game on the slate potentially is ah Chicago and in Atlanta.
Chilly: What's up?

Chilly: It's over 50 points.

Chilly: I think it went over the 50.
Sully Shaheed: It's 51 on the dot, and that really depends on Michael Pennix Jr.
Baker: I think Penix is playing. The fact that he got in practice, the fact that he got in practice today.
Sully Shaheed: I hope he does, because Tua sucks.
Baker: The fact that he was able to get in practice today, I think that's that bodes well. for uh Michael Penix to be able to get out there and play. But Caleb Williams, I think, at least when I first looked at the slate, Caleb Williams just stood out to me.

Sully Shaheed: It's non -existent. So if we can get the sneaky shootout, especially seeing as how this game is at one o 'clock, because I feel like as a community. We are leaning more ownership towards the quote unquote four o 'clock hammer.
Sully Shaheed: and leaving these guys that play at one super low owned. or lower owned relative to the field. So I feel that if this is going to be the game, I can attack it from both sides. And Jameis, you know where the ball is going.
