Sully Shaheed: We've closed the chapter on week four, and now as we arrive to week five, we promise here on the DFS Deli that we will not. only talk about one game on the slate. We promise. We will not mention.
Sully Shaheed: Pittsburgh. And. Anyone else that's playing the game of football. So, you know, I don't think there's any other important games of note this week. So we'll try not. to talk about that. We will serve up, of course, the menu of plays that we have tonight on the DFS Deli. Sit down, pull up a chair.
Sully Shaheed: and we'll serve up what's on the menu for the night here. On the week five edition of the. DFS Deli. Let's do it
Sully Shaheed: And welcome in to the week five edition of the DFS Deli, the first look show, the only first look show that you need to worry about as we get prepared for week five of the DFS.
Sully Shaheed: NFL main slate. We are serving it hot all the way, of course, until lock. Tonight I am joined by only. my esteemed co -host, Chili. uh baker decided to kind of ghost us just like every date that i've had on hinge So it's just me and chill tonight and it's going to be a fun ride. So, Chili, welcome back to work. Great to have you. How's everything going tonight?
Chilly: Everything's going pretty well. I think you and I both, we didn't really play a lot last week due to our... Whirlyball Invitational Tournament, which was a great time. Happy to be back in the deli and shooting the shit on football.
Chilly: It's going to be a very interesting slate with one dominant game, and the rest of the slate looks pretty ugly. uh so we'll kind of get into that there's a It's a decent amount of strategy you could definitely use going forward, but man.
Chilly: I'll just get ready to dive on in.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, I think a lot of this show is going to be a lot of strat, how to maneuver around the mega chalk, which is going to be obviously the game we won't talk about, but we're definitely going to talk about, of course, is going to be that Cardinals -Lions game. I mean, this, it's...
Sully Shaheed: The secondary is just abysmal. I mean, we attacked it, what, week three with Geno Smith. And guess what, guys? We're going to have to do it again with Jacoby Brissett. But we are going to show you how to maneuver around that chalk, maybe bring up some popular fades, take some risks this week, and get you some low -owned players that can differentiate your lineups coming up in week. Five. But.
Sully Shaheed: Like you said, volume was a little low last week, but overall, how did your week? How does your week four go?
Chilly: I didn't really win too much. I think I had like one. The one lineup. Kinda cashed. That was about it. I didn't really like...
Chilly: I played some early... the early only stuff. And since that wasn't like going incredibly well, I just did like one afternoon only lineup and it kind of got there.
Chilly: Really, thanks. kind of Ken Walker in the last. his last touchdown. uh Yeah, I mean, like I said, I wasn't in for... I was probably like... a third of the normal amount of money i put in in a week so like like After you had mentioned it, I think to me on maybe Saturday or Friday.
Chilly: Uh,
Sully Shaheed: Mm hmm.
Chilly: Yeah, I was like, you know what? That's probably the best idea.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, like I said, we were distracted by the tournament that we played in, and I didn't get to sit down on my couch. in my comfrey, you know, 50 inch TV and watch football. I had to do it on a cell phone for the majority of the afternoon.
Sully Shaheed: So. But, you know, I put in some fun lineups.
Chilly: We were.
Sully Shaheed: Like you said, I was about a third of the volume I normally am. And we gave it a run. I mean, funny enough, there were some funky plays that I played. And it was an original lineup that I had that would have finished 10th in a contest, which was pretty cool.
Sully Shaheed: And that was Sands, CeeDee Lamb, and Nico Collins. So even when the slate breakers do break the slate, you can still. have a profitable afternoon so you know okay i'm up a few hundred bucks and i'll take that you know on some low volume so but we're really going to dig in this week and see if we can create some good You know...
Sully Shaheed: chalky but efficient and smart. built lineups this week, but. Before we get into that, and of course, as you know, here on the DFS Deli, we break down position by position our favorite plays on the early look version, the Wednesday night edition of the DFS Deli. And hopefully after it's money in the bank week, right? It's money in the bank this Saturday.
Chilly: Yes, Money in the Bank is... this Saturday. So. That'll be cool. Uh, to watch.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, maybe we'll jump on for a late night Saturday episode and get you guys in that final descent for week five. So give us some final thoughts, get some injury updates, of course. But speaking of injuries, chill.
Sully Shaheed: I think it's that time. You know what we have to do. So if you're not familiar.
Chilly: I think so
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, if you're not familiar. I need you all, whether you're listening at home. Car ride. YouTube version or these podcast streets. First of all, before we rate the glass. Leave a like down there. That would be pretty sweet for us. We have to pay tribute to the fallen of. Week four.
Sully Shaheed: Raise your glass with your favorite beverage and let's pay tribute to the ones we lost. in week four.
Sully Shaheed: Saquon Barkley.
Sully Shaheed: Dusty. Lamar. Thank you. Rasheed Rice and Taequann Thornton. Hello, Tyreek Hill. How you doing?
Sully Shaheed: Jamar Chase and Tee Higgins. Oh, that's a, that's a dead stuff one. Even before the slate started, Marcus Mariota. Mary go to. And gone.
Sully Shaheed: And no. Give us a thumbs up. Cowamunga. You'll all be missed. And we wish you all a speedy recovery.
Sully Shaheed: And he's not hurt. However. We do have to give a special shout out to one of the greatest to ever do it. Philadelphia Eagles lineman Lane Johnson.
Sully Shaheed: Couldn't deal with Nick Ceriani's shit anymore. The Philadelphia Eagles are in full. mode now. Them is a team of dust, yeah. Even traded their center today. No, their guard. Excuse me.
Sully Shaheed: But Delane Johnson. Two -time Super Bowl champ. We wish you peace. We're happy. and healthy retirement. You will be missed.
Chilly: I think it's statistically like one of the best right tackles in NFL history.
Sully Shaheed: It's got to be.
Chilly: I think.
Sully Shaheed: Gotta be.
Chilly: Yeah. Yeah. What was like, what did he They had some phenomenal record when he was in, but like when Lane Johnson didn't play, they were like.
Chilly: 18 and 32 or something or like eight it was like
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, they have a 33 % win rate.
Chilly: Oh, yeah, it was, yeah, yeah.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah.
Chilly: Oh.
Sully Shaheed: It's bad.
Chilly: Is it a hot take here? the eagles would never trade jalen hurts right
Sully Shaheed: Never say never at this point. Yeah.
Chilly: I don't see it happening, but that would be kind of wild, wouldn't it?
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, yeah. The Eagles, they're done, guys. It's over for them. Yeah, I think, Chill, it's time to... Get into our other favorite segment of the show. I think it's time to pull up.
Sully Shaheed: Pull up the dust bus And see our nominees from last week, see if they've earned their way off. Or are they retaining memberships and bus passes on the Dust bus? And again, for those of you who don't know. These are dusty players that are past their prime. Once great. now trash that you do not want anywhere near. your DFS lineups. So.
Sully Shaheed: Who were the nominees last week and who should we consider for a bus pass this week?
Chilly: Well, since Baker wants to no call no show Kyle Pitts will remain off the bus But... Adam's up. You know what? He had himself a serviceable game. When your team is rushing for 8 million touchdowns and you can't be stopped, you're not going to pass a lot.
Chilly: Uh... We did have a nomination, so we had three quarterbacks. We had two still alive. I personally saw a close -up, Aaron Rodgers. And Deshaun Watson.
Chilly: These two are rather interesting because, like... Watching Aaron Rodgers in person, a lot of people are going to blame his O -line, but this guy held onto the ball. For forever.
Sully Shaheed: Mm -hmm.
Chilly: And, like, there were people, like, open. I think Aaron Rodgers is going to have to prove it this week against Indianapolis. I think if he has a terrible game, I think we put him on the bus next week.
Sully Shaheed: Okay?
Chilly: Deshaun Watson is really doing his best Bo Nix impressions and not doing a whole lot until the fourth quarter. I had put Chris Godwin on the dust bus or a nomination.
Chilly: Uh,
Sully Shaheed: mm -hmm
Chilly: I don't think he had too bad of a game, but with his quarterback being out. So we had the, so the God. So what are we doing with the god?
Sully Shaheed: I mean... You know, he doesn't have his quarterback right now, so I think it's a wait and see. it's hard to judge a man without a quarterback
Chilly: Okay.
Sully Shaheed: So I'm going to leave him off for the time being, but best believe when Baker comes back, you better do something because an 0 -4 team. You need to step it up, buddy. I'm going to leave him off.
Sully Shaheed: I'm going to leave him off.
Chilly: All right. So in my still alive pool is Aaron Rodgers, Deshaun, Kyle Pitts, Jalen Hurts, and the God.
Sully Shaheed: Okay, listen.
Chilly: All right.
Sully Shaheed: Jalen Hurts got to go.
Chilly: I had... Jalen Hurts.
Sully Shaheed: Taylor has got to get on. Jalen Hurts got to get on, man.
Chilly: So I'm officially putting two Eagles on there because I am. Putting him and Saquon. I'm putting Saquon officially on the dust bus.
Sully Shaheed: Mm hmm.
Chilly: All right, so the Eagles have landed.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah.
Chilly: There.
Sully Shaheed: There will be no fly eagles fly.
Sully Shaheed: No, no, no, no.
Chilly: Yeah. And, I mean, they do play one of the best teams in football in London, nonetheless, this week.
Sully Shaheed: They're going to get absolutely smacked.
Chilly: The whole... The home away from home for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Sully Shaheed: Mm hmm.
Chilly: Do you have any nominations?
Sully Shaheed: Yes, so I would like to nominate one Cortland Sutton.
Sully Shaheed: And it's a tough one.
Chilly: What a time. What a time.
Sully Shaheed: It's a tough one, but he has completely fell off the map. He is not meshing well with this offense, and he is just an afterthought. So I'm going to nominate Courtland Sutton this week. And I'm also going to put Kyler Murray on the hot seat.
Chilly: Okay, listen, two is good. Baker's X is good. When your team is dead last in offense for everything in your own four.
Sully Shaheed: 4 -0.
Chilly: Yeah. Oh. Four and O stand corrected.
Sully Shaheed: Right, the most fraudulent 4 -0 team I've ever seen in my life. And it's funny because we've seen this movie with the Vikings in the past. Right. But the funny thing is you can't score one touchdown over the course of three games and expect me to put some respect on your name.
Sully Shaheed: So...
Chilly: brother They didn't score a touchdown against...
Sully Shaheed: No.
Chilly: the Miami Dolphins.
Sully Shaheed: Miami Dolphins.
Chilly: And my dolphins are terrible.
Sully Shaheed: They didn't score a touchdown against the Miami Dolphins.
Chilly: I am. I think you're going to like this one. I think it's time. We can't. you want to talk about fraudulent and praise and this man gets nothing but excuses I think Justin Herbert.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah. Yeah. It's time.
Chilly: All right.
Sully Shaheed: It's time. They could realistically be 0 -10. In six weeks. That schedule is brutal and they are not showing any signs of.
Sully Shaheed: Improvement.
Chilly: I'd be interested to see. how much people like Is it really Mike McDaniel? Was he just a Tyreek Hill merchant at this point? You know.
Sully Shaheed: Could be.
Chilly: Love you. Let me check. to see.
Sully Shaheed: You know who they can get though?
Chilly: Terry.
Sully Shaheed: Tyreek Hill. No.
Chilly: Yep.
Chilly: Right. Let's see.
Sully Shaheed: I hope he does find his way on a team.
Chilly: You know.
Sully Shaheed: And I hope he does well, you know.
Chilly: Tyreek Hill is going to be a Kansas City Chief, bro.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, without question.
Chilly: Thoughts?
Sully Shaheed: It's signed, sealed, and delivered at this point.
Chilly: Yeah. Yeah, he's going to be a chief because he can literally just play the same role that Taekwon Thornton played. where it's just like, hey, man, you just need to run straight.
Chilly: He does it so easy.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, facts.
Chilly: Yeah. Oh.
Sully Shaheed: Hey, can we tag team the dust bus real quick though? Along with Kyler, can we put, if he's not already on it, you need to check the back of the bus for me, but...
Chilly: Sure.
Sully Shaheed: The newly signed Viking OBJ.
Chilly: Brother, they signed OBJ?
Sully Shaheed: Yes, OBJ is a Viking now.
Chilly: To heat. What?
Sully Shaheed: Yeah. Yeah. So add more dust to dust, ashes to ashes, dust to dust.
Chilly: Oh. OBJ just goes straight on. He's just easy. Get out of here, man. He literally didn't even play like... he played like how many snaps for the giants this season He was on it.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, and the funny thing is... Before he got released, Braxton Berrios got hurt too, so they literally just have three receivers. And they said, nah, fam, we good. We're out with this.
Chilly: Yeah, that's That is it.
Sully Shaheed: Alvin Kamara, come on ahead and help your boy OBJ on the bus, come on. Come on with it.
Chilly: Yeah. Yeah.
Sully Shaheed: Come on with it.
Chilly: Yeah. Yeah. And Alvin Kamara, I don't really care how good of a game you had on Monday night. You're not fooling me, brother.
Sully Shaheed: Oh no, absolutely not. Absolutely not, you ain't fooling me brother.
Sully Shaheed: Respect. Respect. Well, the dust bus has officially left the station, headed to some cities to pick up some new players, right?
Chilly: Oh. Bye. I got one more nomination. It's gonna hurt your soul. I think we may need to put your cousin. on the bus.
Sully Shaheed: last week.
Sully Shaheed: He's very much alive and well.
Chilly: Listen.
Sully Shaheed: Besides, Chili, you know the prerequisite for getting on the bus. You had to be good at some point. I don't see any Pro Bowls to his name.
Chilly: What?
Sully Shaheed: I don't see any All Pros to his name. He's just been a guy. You can't just put a guy just to be a guy.
Chilly: Honestly, like when he went to Seattle, he got worse because as a saint. He was doing pretty well.
Sully Shaheed: He was making a name for himself. But hey, listen, he got in the box last week. I don't want to hear it.
Chilly: all right all right all right he's so he's too mid for the bus all right so the bus
Sully Shaheed: Yes, my cousin, a member of the brand, he is a brand member, is too mid to even be considered. So leave him alone.
Chilly: Yeah. Ugh. Is there anybody else? Any any former superstar? Anybody else? Hey, you know what?
Sully Shaheed: I'm sure as we break down these positional plays, we will find some guys.
Chilly: Hey! Hey, in comparison to what he's used to putting out. versus what he's doing now. Technically, CMC been pretty dusty.
Sully Shaheed: CMC is dusty on purpose though.
Chilly: He is
Sully Shaheed: They're literally...
Chilly: It is a mirage.
Sully Shaheed: Nah. Nah.
Chilly: You know.
Sully Shaheed: But he getting there, though.
Chilly: Deal. Then the only other person that, like, he hasn't been playing long enough, but, man, Omari and Hampton, everybody that picked that dude as their first or second overall pick. You got to be pretty.
Chilly: Pretty pissed off.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah.
Chilly: Cause like Keaton Mitchell is like leading that backfield.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah. RIP Amari and Hampton.
Chilly: When Mike...
Sully Shaheed: Just the ball of potential, just like his quarterback.
Chilly: When Mike McDaniel gets fired, he might come back, right?
Sully Shaheed: It's a possibility. But hey, man, let's get into it, man. Let's talk about some positional plays. Let's talk about how we want to build rosters this week and see if we could get a little spicy. outside of the chalk. So obviously at the quarterback position, we already know who's going to be leading the way. It's going to be Jacoby Brissett and Jared Goff.
Sully Shaheed: Is there... Any reason to fade these guys and get weird somewhere else? Or is there some other quarterbacks we can try and target this week?
Chilly: Yeah, I think you can definitely get weird. You can definitely get weird on DraftKings and be okay. And honestly, you could probably do it on FanDuel as well, but...
Chilly: Uh, if I'm going to get weird, uh, Tyson agent is going up against the Packers. uh with the kyle menungai injury uh i mean there's so i mean like deandre and we'll get to running backs here in a second but uh deandre swift is going to be a a play for sure uh when menungai being out but they may lean on this pass a little bit more and and like the packers defense is terrible
Chilly: I mean, I know last week they went up against, is it still pronounced like Jalen Daniels, right?
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, yeah, Simu Jaiden.
Chilly: Yeah.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, it was Jaiden.
Chilly: Yeah. Yeah, and I mean, like... And again, man, like that Packers defense is, is awful. Honestly, you're just counting on Ben Johnson putting together like a hell of a script here for Bajent.
Chilly: on draft kings i think he's criminally underpriced i think he's 4700 on draft kings which is going to allow you to jam in a lot of the you know the game
Sully Shaheed: Hmm.
Chilly: Without having the two most chalkiest quarterbacks on the slate, I will say for whatever reason, and again, I don't understand it, but like Jacoby Brissett on FanDuel is only 6 ,800, and that to me makes no sense.
Sully Shaheed: Rawr!
Chilly: Makes no sense whatsoever.
Sully Shaheed: Sir.
Chilly: I don't get what the logic there was, but like this kind of early on first look. Because basically, like you said, if you don't play those two quarterbacks, you're different. You're automatically there.
Chilly: So, yeah, Bajent for me would kind of be. Uh... done. A different. And again, if you're not playing that game, a lot of this slate is gross.
Chilly: I don't know how much of it was a resurgence by Drake May versus the Bills defense being bad. in a combination of both but i do like drake may this week Also, what Drake made does best is throw the deep ball, which we saw Kansas City do a lot on this Raiders defense.
Chilly: Also like. the running game is going to help. So you don't have to like double stack may, but like if you run them out with Henderson or Stevenson, even.
Chilly: wide receiver. I think that's going to be okay. But it's, man, it's a gross click, but. I think Drake May might be worth a look here as well.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, I respect that. And let's make one thing clear real quick. The most common stack you're going to see is Jacoby. Plus Michael Wilson. plus Trey McBride ran back with Jameer Gibbs. Let's establish that right now, okay? So if you're using that core.
Sully Shaheed: You got to get weird somewhere else. So it's you and 40 % of the field that's doing that. So if you want to get different. We can find you ways to get different. I personally, I'm going to use Jacoby Brissett on FanDuel because his price is, he's mispriced.
Sully Shaheed: Period. He should have been bumped for the matchup. He should have been bumped for his production. There's no reason that he should be this cheap. So I'm personally going to eat that and call it a day. And I'll get weird somewhere else. But if I wasn't going to go the Jacoby Brissett route, because in comparison, I think Jared Goff. is over. priced. Compared to his output. So even though they do have a 30, 30 point. implied team total this week.
Sully Shaheed: There's other ways the Lions are going to get there. So I don't think golf is necessary. It's been proven week in and week out that these cheap quarterbacks are going to be the way to go. And I actually have. Two.
Sully Shaheed: Mid - priced mid -priced quarterbacks if you want to go down down this route with maybe a skinny and a small bring back get your arizona and detroit pieces other places Tyler Shook.
Sully Shaheed: And I know everybody's going to say, oh, Minnesota, Minnesota. Well, look at who they've played. Look at who they played. They played in a tsunami. They played against. the Miami dolphins and week one, guess what? Even though the scores, the score sheet looks different from the blowout.
Sully Shaheed: Jordan Love lit them up. It was joint love. and Watson and Matthew Golden that was taking down tournaments that week against. Minnesota. So if we're talking about. A guy that's going to be flinging it the entire game, which we know Tyler Shuck, as we've seen evidence last week. I mean, they were down by 30.
Sully Shaheed: And he was still in the game. Just throwing deep bombs. He had eight completions over 40 yards. So if we're talking about someone that no one's going to play. Chris Alave, still elite. Devon Vele, still emerging. And then you got a cheaper tight end in Jawan Johnson.
Sully Shaheed: You can run out Tyler Shuck and feel good about it. It's a large tournament type of thing, but you want to get off the chalk. That's one way to do it. And then I'm going to go to a quarterback with one of the highest implied team totals on the slate as well.
Sully Shaheed: Look at Sam Darnall. like how many like we've seen this movie two times this year where if you just would have ran sam donald jsn and call it a day You win.
Sully Shaheed: You win. So we're talking about another game that's in that four o 'clock hammer, hammer slate. And if you've got the PMR remaining and you need to, you took some shots at one, they didn't work out. I think you can pivot off of Jacoby reset.
Sully Shaheed: leave that couple extra hundred bucks for the flexibility and get. up to Sam Darnold this week. San Francisco's defense, nothing to write home about, to be honest, multiple injuries on that front and they can be had through the air. So there's no reason that JSN shouldn't have a game and by proxy.
Sully Shaheed: Sam Darnold can do the same. So those are two of the guys I like outside of Jacoby Brissett if I'm going to run somebody else.
Chilly: Yeah, my only concern with Chuck. is he faced a 53 % pressure rate. against the Falcons, out of all things, at home.
Chilly: Minnesota. We know Minnesota is going to blitz until they... i mean they're gonna die by that blitz so that would be my Only concern.
Chilly: But also my other concern is... Can Kyler Murray actually push this game? Like that would be my concern right is that like this is This is shut. This is Chuck.
Chilly: This is Shuck getting killed on one side and Kyler Murray and the worst offense in football, not being able to do anything else on the other. So like...
Sully Shaheed: But...
Chilly: The range of outcome.
Sully Shaheed: rebuttal is Saints defense is kind of buns too.
Chilly: It's not worse than Miami's.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah.
Chilly: They didn't score a touchdown against Miami.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah. That's true too.
Chilly: Like my... Like so. Like, no. Nobody's gonna play. Tyler Shug. So.
Chilly: I mean...
Sully Shaheed: Vikings are kind of buns.
Chilly: Could it be the weird game? I think if we want to hit this game with the... sneaky shootout potential. Uh, Jane Daniels might be back this week.
Sully Shaheed: He's trending towards playing, yes.
Chilly: So, this Commander's Giants game? It's a little intriguing in that one o 'clock window. Let's not like we just saw. uh the colts absolutely drop a bomb on this team uh
Chilly: last week again this commander's defense is so bad i think james is in play this week You're always concerned about using neighbors, but it's the easiest stacking partner to put them with. You could probably easily run any commander you want on the other side. I don't know. Again, I haven't seen the injury news on McLaurin.
Chilly: But yeah.
Sully Shaheed: I do not believe F1 is playing.
Chilly: Yeah, so I mean, Steph Diggs is an easy fill there. So, so again here, and again, nobody's going to play them. And I don't think the Sims are going to like them.
Chilly: Like Joe Burrow? Is it Miami? playing the Dolphins
Sully Shaheed: Hey, listen, if Tyler Murray couldn't score on the Dolphins, what hope does Joe Burrow have?
Chilly: It's going to be...
Chilly: I mean he did throw for 400. At least Joe Burrow was through for 400 -something passing yards last week because that running game was abysmal.
Chilly: He had the funny...
Sully Shaheed: I guess that would depend on the health of his receivers. Right. I mean, like you, if.
Chilly: Even, but Even without Higgins and Chase, that other wide receiver is the chalk.
Sully Shaheed: You talking about Mitchell Tinsley?
Chilly: Mechotti.
Sully Shaheed: We're doing this again, Mitch Tinsley?
Chilly: Which one?
Chilly: I'm talking about Dehante Myers, who apparently had himself a game. Again, these are the things I miss. I want more of the balls there. So.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, it was tough to pay attention to football last week, which was rough, but.
Chilly: But let me take one last look here at QBs before we kind of kick it on over to the other side. And see.
Sully Shaheed: Like I said if we start mentioning other players, I think we're just reaching at this point
Chilly: Yeah, like I said... i'm just really just again just taking a look here
Chilly: Honestly, let me rephrase something I said. Is the sneaky shootout game just Bears -Packers?
Sully Shaheed: I mean it could be. Like the visual stuff.
Chilly: Okay, maybe.
Sully Shaheed: Always gets me, but... I don't know, it definitely has the chance It has a chance.
Chilly: Yeah. Because, like, again, Green Bay's defense is terrible. Chicago's defense isn't all that great either. But yeah, like I said, like you said, I think if we mentioned anybody... we're truthfully reaching I kind of like the Pittsburgh stuff, but maybe we just play the Steeler stuff as one -off pieces and not Aaron Rodgers. I mean, they are coming off the mini -bye. Pittsburgh will be at home. This Colts defense is terrible.
Chilly: does aaron rodgers give you any tournament winning upside it's probably marginal at best
Sully Shaheed: Yeah.
Sully Shaheed: Let me, uh...
Chilly: At this point, he... At this point he's just older Stafford.
Sully Shaheed: What's Secret Bajet Man's price? How's he looking? Six, seven, six, seven.
Chilly: Amen. 6 -7 And then on DraftKings, he's 4 ,700.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, but I mean, like, Jacoby Brissett's right there at 6 '8". Like, you're going to play Jacoby Brissett. But having said that.
Chilly: I'm a fan of who you are, but like I said, if you just...
Sully Shaheed: Yeah.
Chilly: Eh. You're going to pay. You want to play the absolute stone cold chalk. Or... Do you want to get different?
Sully Shaheed: Right.
Chilly: Because... Because this is the position where you can get different and still... Still win.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, I mean, and you can also eat chalk and still win. You think? And this is a theory question, of course. Do you think a lot of people...
Chilly: Sure.
Sully Shaheed: or at least a small percentage if not a large percentage i should say will talk themselves out of playing Jacoby or golf. on Sunday.
Chilly: No. Listen, everybody saw that Sunday night game when Bryce Young absolutely cooked the Lions.
Sully Shaheed: I mean the Lions get nothing but cooked. Period.
Chilly: I... I, that game.
Sully Shaheed: It's right there. But is it so obvious where they're like, oh, I can't play.
Chilly: There. There.
Sully Shaheed: 20 % on Jacoby Brissett.
Chilly: There is... The thing is, is like. i don't think so i think what this game has a 54 point total And then the rest of the games.
Sully Shaheed: 54 and a half, yeah.
Chilly: Yeah, and then the rest of the games are in the 40s. Now... What could have saved the slate is if the Bills versus the Rams were on the slate. That's what...
Sully Shaheed: It would have broke that up. Yeah.
Chilly: It would have broke it would have broken up dramatically because I think everybody would have just saw the the absolute like stone cold. This is the game. And. Because that game would have been in the 4 o 'clock window as well, being in L .A.
Chilly: I think it's in LA.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, I mean, like I said, the last the cool thing about last week and again, low volume, but. It seemed like the Cardinals game got ignored. Like Cardinals Giants was a good game.
Sully Shaheed: And everybody was on the... The Bengals -Jags game. So, and that busted clearly with the exception of T Higgins, but.
Chilly: Correct.
Sully Shaheed: 40 % on Parker Washington in his one catch. uh jamar chase getting hurt unfortunately chase brown not doing anything there is a world where the Lions game busts.
Sully Shaheed: However...
Chilly: I...
Sully Shaheed: If you ran this slate a thousand times.
Chilly: item.
Sully Shaheed: 990 of them will have this game going off. So just.
Chilly: Yeah.
Sully Shaheed: Just play it.
Chilly: Yeah. I think... I think the Bengals -Jags game. which Even... Even not. playing that much. Even if I was, like... putting in my normal stuff, I wouldn't have played a lot.
Chilly: I wouldn't have played a lot from that game anyway. Cause like when you have like two. Like playoff teams per se, you know
Sully Shaheed: Mm -hmm
Chilly: Like those games get tight. And like the Jaguars. The Jags right now... You can argue are probably the second best team in the AFC if you want to argue them versus Bills. it's totally fine
Chilly: But, I mean, okay, so they're top three at the worst.
Chilly: So. Yeah, I thought that game could bust. You know, unfortunately, like you said, Chase gets hurt. So, I mean, even in that game, Joe Burrow still threw for over 400 yards. Which is kind of wild.
Sully Shaheed: 100.
Chilly: And they only scored 17 points. Like, it's kind of wild.
Sully Shaheed: hehehehehehe Yeah, I'm here for it
Chilly: But... Yeah, but like you said... Like, is there anybody else that you're really going to argue for on this slate? Your reach, and like I said, I think Bajent, I think Drake May.
Chilly: Man, like... Another gross click would be like Bo Nix. Against the Chargers.
Chilly: Hey.
Sully Shaheed: Never.
Chilly: Again, it's gross, but the Chargers defense is terrible. They got cooked by Sam Darnold. This Denver offense seems to be doing a little bit better. But there's also talks that. Their offensive coordinator might be.
Chilly: kind of you know, Sean Payton might be like, you know what? I'm going to just. We'll take that back. So.
Sully Shaheed: For sure. All right, well, let's talk running back. Let's talk to Jameer Gibbs. Jameer Gibbs or not to Jameer Gibbs. Slate. Obviously, Jameer Gibbs is going to be the highest owned running back on the slate.
Sully Shaheed: There's a couple of cheapies that are going to be stuffed in with them. Sans, Rico Dotto, you might see a lot of Jalen Warren. uh aaron jones goes against the worst run defense in the nfl in new orleans there's going to be like i said some interesting pieces uh swift without mamung guy Probably a good place to go.
Sully Shaheed: i think that this is one of the positions this week that you can just play it safe eat the chalk and be good with it because i don't see a lot of bad chalk the only so the only argument i will give for like let's say aaron jones senior right He is old and dusty.
Sully Shaheed: and I don't see tournament winning upside with him. He's not going to be the reason you win a tournament, but he's also not going to be the reason you lose a tournament. deandre swift as we've seen this season already.
Sully Shaheed: can offer you tournament winning performances. So if I were to pick between one of those two guys at the mid to cheaper end, it's got to be Swift. And that run defense obviously in Green Bay does not scare me whatsoever. I know it's a road game. I know it's a little tougher in that way. I don't think running back this week is a way to get weird, but with Jameer Gibbs at that $10 ,000 price tag over at FanDuel, I know he's the most expensive running back on DraftKings as well.
Sully Shaheed: Joe, what are your thoughts about... potentially Fading Jameer Gibbs this week.
Chilly: It's a hard fade, man.
Chilly: Like, so... Last week, or a couple weeks ago when they played the Jets. He had some of like the highest value I've ever seen. Like the computer basically say like, oh my God, you got to play this guy.
Chilly: And that was at like a lesser salary, like almost a thousand dollars. He has a higher value. at even a higher Salary
Chilly: I mean... Man, if you fade him and he busts, you're doing good. uh
Chilly: I'll see. Like, again here, man, we got to. I guess you got to see what the lineups look like with or without him. I mean, on DraftKings, he's almost 10K on DraftKings. He's 9 ,800. I think he's a way harder fade on DraftKings because of the reception for.
Chilly: With that being said, I think. If you are... I would say the majority of Jameer Gibbs lineups are also going to be accompanied by Jalen Warren.
Chilly: Cause he is honestly for the amount. of workload this guy has been getting uh on the ground and through the passing game on both sites he's 6 700 so again i think he's horribly misplaced on fandle
Chilly: So I think that's going to be the most. common pairing you're going to see. uh across the board here is gibbs and warren i don't think that's going you know and then you can you know go from there but watching him play firsthand in person, like...
Chilly: it is like dump offs and. Honestly, he does get passes downfield even. So. I mean... And... But there's value. I mean, there is value in good running back chalk. So if you want to fade it and like Gibbs doesn't break the slate.
Chilly: You might be okay. Because, again, at almost this guy has to get like 30 points. Now, no, he's going to get 30 points in the first half. Heh.
Chilly: So... Am I going to be fading it? Probably not.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, I think like the difference between this week and the previous weeks is that. Last. so last week my argument against derrick henry which turned out to be you know correct was his offensive line was damaged beyond repair.
Sully Shaheed: And he needed to put up a performance where, you know, at 30, 30, some odd 40 % owned. that would bury you. Now, when he scored that first touchdown in the first minute of Sunday, we're like, oh, it's about to be a King Henry game. And then all of a sudden it just was nothing. So.
Sully Shaheed: But that's a different beast compared to Jameer Gibbs, right? Because Jameer Gibbs does have. that reception floor where you're like you know he's touching the ball early and often. And with this high of ownership, I think it's...
Sully Shaheed: A. It's not really a fade only because. Let's say he gets 20. you and 40 % of the field have 20 points. Okay.
Sully Shaheed: So what are your other options, right? Are you going to go to Jonathan Taylor? Are you going to go to CMC, who's clearly had the Reigns wing back on him? And again, last week you had.
Sully Shaheed: Uh... other good substitutes. You had K -9 on the slate, which was the play. The week before, when K -9 was the chalk, you had other places to go. So this week, it's Jameer Gibbs and the field. And I'd rather take Jameer Gibbs as opposed to the field this week. Now, does JT have a great matchup? Yes.
Sully Shaheed: Does there's other running backs on the slate that have good matchups? Yes. But I think like there's more. Good mid -price chalk. then there is the high price stuff so i want to start with jameer gibbs and build it out But again, like you mentioned.
Sully Shaheed: Jalen Warren is in a great spot with no competition. DeAndre Swift is in a spot with no competition. Aaron Jones in a spot with no competition. Emmanuel Wilson is in a spot with no competition. And those are all lower -priced, mid -range guys that you can, yes, pair up with Jameer Gibbs and feel good about it.
Sully Shaheed: And then you just got to get weird probably at wide receiver. So I think that's the spot I want to differentiate at is the wide receiver position. I think the running back position this week is very, very safe.
Sully Shaheed: And. I'm okay with that. I think I'm good with eating some chalk. at uh at the running back position so
Sully Shaheed: Hey, real quick, do you remember, it had to have been a couple years ago.
Chilly: Sure.
Sully Shaheed: where the DraftKings millionaire maker was taken down by a dude named Chalk.
Sully Shaheed: Do you remember that?
Chilly: Yeah, that is It sounds familiar.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, he literally just played every high own player. And won the Millie. And his name was Chalk.
Chilly: It worked. It works.
Sully Shaheed: Is this the week where we can just say. Chalk. And not get weird. Can we do that? Just, just, just for the walls.
Chilly: A chalk is chalk for a reason.
Sully Shaheed: It's chalk for a reason. Let's talk for a reason.
Chilly: Hey. Are you ready for Jameer Gibbs to be somebody's beast of the week?
Sully Shaheed: God, bro. This -
Sully Shaheed: I do not want to talk about beers, man.
Sully Shaheed: This dude is a... Moron I don't care what anybody says
Chilly: I'm just saying.
Sully Shaheed: Oh, without question, Jameer Gibbs is the beast of the week, period. Period. There's no one else in contention. There's just no one else.
Sully Shaheed: We're going to save you some money at the running back position.
Sully Shaheed: We're going to go Jalen Warren. Really, Beers? Really? Let's take some money out of the wires. Michael Wilson, criminally underpriced on both sides. We're going to pair him up today with Jacoby Brissett. Yeah, we know beers.
Sully Shaheed: We know. Every industry tout knows. We're playing the damn Cardinals game. All right. We get it.
Chilly: Hey.
Sully Shaheed: We get it.
Chilly: beer's nose off.
Sully Shaheed: Anyway. Sorry.
Chilly: Beer's nose ball.
Sully Shaheed: He does not know. Huh?
Sully Shaheed: All right.
Chilly: Yeah, I mean, if we're just taking a look here at a couple of these other guys that are going to be chalky, you mentioned Aaron Jones. We mentioned it before in the quarterback part. With these Bengals guys being out, could be a little bit more focus on the run game.
Chilly: Because what Cincinnati is going to want to do is just beat the Dolphins and get the hell out of there with everybody healthy. The Dolphins are like one of the worst teams in the league, if not like the worst against running backs.
Chilly: If he's still going to be owned, but he's not going to be as high owned as Jalen Warren. So Chase Brown. uh relatively at the same price could be your differentiating point because you're still playing chalk you're just not playing as much chalk with uh chase brown
Sully Shaheed: Mm -hmm
Chilly: uh I'm not going to hate on that. Again, Miami has been. a... Bismol against running backs. So. There's that. If you want to get different in this Cardinals -Lions game, and again, it depends on health. We are the first look show. Nobody's playing Jeremiah Love.
Chilly: That does make you different in that game because he's going to be less than 5 % owned.
Sully Shaheed: Jeremiah Love might not be playing Jeremiah Love.
Chilly: I hate it.
Sully Shaheed: He's got an ankle injury.
Chilly: Like I said.
Sully Shaheed: Which makes Tyler Algier mega chalk.
Chilly: I don't think so. I think, I don't think it'll make out because people are not going to want to play Gibbs and Algier in the same lineup. So I don't think Algier becomes chalk at all.
Sully Shaheed: I don't know, man. They're going to see a big, big cheap piece to get in that game somehow. I think it happens
Chilly: I mean, you
Sully Shaheed: Okay, I'll take back Mega. I'll take back Mega.
Chilly: You do know ball. And then let's. And then, again, you mentioned DeAndre Swift. I love DeAndre Swift this week. I love pairing him up with Bajit this week. I think you can absolutely do that, especially with Mnangai being out.
Sully Shaheed: Bye.
Chilly: It could be a little bit more.
Chilly: dominated by Swift backfield -wise. And again, like Green Bay's defense, not all that great. So I do like Swift.
Chilly: You were a week early on your boy, Judkins.
Chilly: uh, Judkins.
Sully Shaheed: Quinn John!
Sully Shaheed: Quinn John week! No!
Chilly: And the other team that's honestly tied for like, based on what I'm seeing here as being horrible against running backs. Now, again, they're not a bad defense, but the jets, the only thing that concerns you about Browns versus Jess is like.
Chilly: that there's only like 40 plays ran in that entire game right
Sully Shaheed: That's going to be the biggest slog of a game. I guarantee, guarantee, put it on the clock, that game finishes first. In the 1 o 'clock window. guaranteed.
Chilly: Aha.
Sully Shaheed: Not even close.
Chilly: I'm not even going to take that back. You're 100 % right. Yeah, again here. And then. I don't know
Sully Shaheed: Every other team's going to be at and they're going to be in the fourth quarter. I guarantee it.
Chilly: yeah and then and then you kind of get into guys like you mentioned jonathan taylor uh We don't know what the 49ers are doing with McCaffrey, but these are two high -level players that are going to be less.
Chilly: Excuse me, less owned and... what they normally are. But yeah, I mean taking a look there I don't know what the hell happened to Ashton Gentry, but I love it. If he can come back.
Chilly: That'd be cool.
Sully Shaheed: Oh, you know the old, what is it, 3 .8 a carry right now? He's been pretty bad, bro.
Chilly: Yeah, minus week one. But other than that, yeah.
Sully Shaheed: Her cousins, on the other hand. He's been cooking.
Chilly: He has been cooking but
Sully Shaheed: He's been cooking.
Chilly: One guy I'll mention. It has super good value. Travion Henderson. We've seen this Raiders team absolutely get cooked on the ground. especially last week. So I do like me some Trey beyond Henderson this week.
Chilly: going up against that Raiders team. He's got one of the highest values and nobody. And I mean, nobody is playing Henderson this week. you want to get you you want to play a less than 5 % owned running back, they could...
Chilly: Give you 20 easy. It's Henderson.
Sully Shaheed: Mm hmm. I like it I like it. Yeah, let's slide over to wide receiver. And again, decision points, right? Because I think that the way...
Sully Shaheed: that some lineups are going to be constructed this week is. with gibbs you probably lock yourself out of jsn i know there's some gross plays we can punt off to fit that i know people will find a way to do it But. I think there's gonna be a lot of lineups built with double runbacks. So they're gonna find room for the Sun God and Jamo.
Sully Shaheed: But again, Jack Smith and Jigba, even though he disappointed last week, is always capable of breaking a slate in half. We had Nico Collins get welcomed back last week to have a. slate -breaking performance along with his counterpart on the other side of the ball, CeeDee Lamb.
Sully Shaheed: And then of course you always have the consistent. The consistency of Chris Alave, which, of course, I do like this week. But again, to your point, I do get the argument that. Is Kyler going to push it enough? to warrant the
Sully Shaheed: Volume that. chris lave gets and again he's he's priced up there for a reason but i understand it and then michael wilson just sucks up all the targets along with Trey McBride and this Cardinals offense. So he's going to be mega chalk, but at the same time, I feel like it's good chalk and I'm okay with that.
Sully Shaheed: If you believe that this Chicago game has the sneaky shootout potential. Christian Watson, who's broken a slate before, and Matthew Golden are obviously on the menu.
Sully Shaheed: And a lot of ownership coming in. for Luther Burton, The Herd. I get the cheap price tag and I get the matchup. If you want to go there, I think you can go there. But having said that, who are your favorite receivers? Who are you going to try to jam in if any of the high price guys?
Chilly: Yeah, I would just like to point out that. On DraftKings, if you play Beja and Burton, you're under 10K. I think it's like 9 ,600 for that stack.
Chilly: I'm just saying, because Luther Burton on DraftKings is horribly mispriced. What is he on DraftKings? I just saw it. Yeah, he is 4 ,900 on DraftKings. That seems...
Chilly: Very underpriced.
Sully Shaheed: Load them up! Load them up!
Chilly: Yeah, I guess we're going to play everybody's favorite game of good chalk, bad chalk. Let's start. And I'm mispronouncing his name. Dehante, Dante Myers for the Bengals.
Chilly: Going up against the Dolphins, I guess it's everybody's favorite game. Is that good chalk or bad chalk?
Sully Shaheed: than that.
Chilly: Yeah, on DraftKings, because on DraftKings he is 3 ,300, which will probably allow you to jam in some weird pieces.
Sully Shaheed: God.
Chilly: On FanDuel, he's 5 ,400 on FanDuel. Uh...
Sully Shaheed: That's too expensive.
Chilly: So, again.
Sully Shaheed: That's way too expensive. Like we're talking. I mean, for context. Luther Burton is 5 ,900.
Chilly: Correct. I'm FanDuel, yes.
Sully Shaheed: I'll... Find the money. I'll just find the money.
Chilly: Yeah. He's not as... He's not as chalky on FanDuel. On DraftKings, he is the chalk right now. He's actually got a higher percentage than Michael Wilson and Amon Ross St. Brown by like 2 % or 3%.
Sully Shaheed: Wow
Chilly: Yeah, right. Well, he's 3 ,300, you know, if you want to.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah. Yeah I get it.
Chilly: Again, here, you mentioned a lot of these guys. I see some ownership coming in on Casey that's i he's like at 13 i was like that's weird i'd rather play
Chilly: I'd rather play Boston. personally, but... You're not going to play any Browns guy. and then so you're looking at these guys uh you're looking at garrett wilson You're looking at Trey Harris for the Chargers because Lab McConkie might be out or he is out. So again, that could be gross.
Chilly: Uh... but yeah Again, here, I mentioned the Steeler stuff earlier. I would be. I don't think I mind playing DK Metcalf. uh this week uh again
Sully Shaheed: It's all about Roman Wilson.
Chilly: Dude, you're not wrong, but... DK Metcalf had a really good game on Thursday and it should have been a monster game because that dude missed him. even more than what he should have.
Chilly: One pick that... I do like that I don't think is going to get played a lot is probably Jalen Waddle. going up against this Chargers team.
Sully Shaheed: Okay.
Chilly: I do like Waddle this week. I do believe Denver is going to be without Pat Bryant. Which, like, and again, we already mentioned how dusty Courtland Sutton was.
Sully Shaheed: That boy Dusty.
Chilly: Yeah, and I think I was reading like... It was like one out of five passes went to Waddle last week. This Chargers team is. Awful.
Chilly: Their defense, the whole team is just awful. So. Again here, Waddle... Waddle can get there, and he's at a good price.
Chilly: uh, on both sides so i i kind of like waddle this week truthfully Is there anybody yet? Anybody else you want to touch on?
Sully Shaheed: Yes, actually. I'm gonna give you one name for your consideration.
Chilly: All right.
Sully Shaheed: Who, uh... Ooh. Ooh. Who cooked? What secondary got cooked by CeeDee Lamb last week?
Chilly: The Houston Texans.
Sully Shaheed: Mm -hmm. Who plays the Texans this week?
Chilly: Cam Lord.
Sully Shaheed: Carnell Tate. Over the past two weeks has finally busted out. And if we get any semblance of a performance. We're not going to get the CD lamb. you know, 17 -catch game. There's just no question. but it's clear that they've established a rapport together. And if this Houston secondary, that's supposed to be good.
Sully Shaheed: you know, pretty good for an Owen Ford heme. He's the same price as Luther Bird on FanDuel. So if you want to get off the chalk and just click down one more name. I think Cardinal Tate could be very interesting this week.
Sully Shaheed: So I kind of like Cardinal Tate.
Chilly: Yeah, I'm not a get.
Sully Shaheed: I don't like Cam Ward. I don't like Cam Ward. He's going to get absolutely destroyed by this Texas defense. However.
Chilly: Yeah, I'm not against...
Sully Shaheed: He's looking for one guy.
Chilly: I'm not against it either. I will probably go back to the Josh Doan. Josh Downswell. I think he probably burned a lot of people last week. I don't think anybody's going to play downs, but if I am running some Steelers stuff, him or JT is to bring back there. So I don't I don't mind that at all We mentioned the game earlier. I think Neighbors is a good play this week.
Chilly: I think any... the commanders guys will be a pretty. decent as well. it is a division game so again like you said those kind of do get a little iffy but
Sully Shaheed: Mm hmm.
Chilly: Dude, can we stop Malik Washington is not a thing Every time I see this guy, it's like...
Sully Shaheed: Ha ha! Ha ha.
Chilly: It's up there and it's just like. He's not a thing.
Chilly: Like stop to stop it with this guy
Sully Shaheed: Can I throw out... Can I throw out the San Francisco guys?
Chilly: I mean...
Sully Shaheed: Can I throw out Mike Evans and Deebo Samuel? And like I said, if you want to get weird. And you want to start and you want to think about the late swaption. I think you can go to this game and get both those guys.
Chilly: Yeah, I mean, those guys are going to be... those guys won't be owned to like less than those guys will be less than 3 % owned. It is another week.
Sully Shaheed: I mean...
Chilly: It is another week for Mike Evans to be off the injury as well.
Chilly: If you want to swap to the current MVP of the league, Brock Purdy, I mean, how could you go wrong, right?
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, the current MVP. Yeah, uh -huh. Yep, yep, yep, yep, yep.
Chilly: So. Yeah, I think those guys are pretty safe. Like I said. Waddle, I think, would be a good swaption if you are sitting on the lines, guys, and you do need to swap.
Chilly: I think Waddle is an excellent option. uh he doesn't have that high of ownership and i'm just not buying the fact that one we find it
Chilly: like jameson williams has no ownership and like why do i not believe that
Sully Shaheed: I don't believe the JSN ownership. Like, listen, if Gibbs is 40 plus.
Sully Shaheed: And JSN is the number, well, as the high price guys, the top high price guy. something's off because those are really hard to fit. And I get, you get the Bengals guy at 3 ,300, whatever, but like.
Sully Shaheed: That seems off to me. And y 'all ain't going to play Jamo? Really? We ain't gonna play Jamo this week? I think Jamo is the bring back.
Chilly: I... I don't think. It says people aren't playing them, but I don't believe that.
Sully Shaheed: I don't believe that either.
Chilly: I, I...
Sully Shaheed: I'm going to do the double run back thing with Gibbs and Jamo. And I'm going to flip the card over and he's going to be 35 % owned.
Chilly: Yeah, right.
Sully Shaheed: I guarantee it.
Chilly: Uh, Yeah, so I have JSN currently on a Wednesday night. He's 17 % on DraftKings. He is 19 % on FanDuel.
Sully Shaheed: It's crazy. I don't buy it.
Chilly: He's - he's - Jay is easier to jam in on FanDuel, I think.
Sully Shaheed: Don't buy it.
Chilly: truthfully.
Sully Shaheed: I don't buy it I don't buy it, but I guess we'll see when. Sunday comes around, obviously. Yeah, let's hit a tight end. The Trey McBride, Brock Bowers position. And to McBride or not to McBride? That is the question.
Chilly: If you can fit him, you just play him, man. Like, you just...
Sully Shaheed: Again, he's the most popular tight end, right?
Chilly: Yep.
Sully Shaheed: How you going to fit the most expensive receiver, the most expensive tight end, and the most expensive running back on a lineup?
Chilly: Because you're...
Sully Shaheed: I'm not buying something. Something's not right.
Chilly: Well, it's easier than what you think because Jacoby Brissett is mispriced. Jalen Warren is mispriced. You play the Bengals guy. You punt your defense.
Chilly: Oh, oh, and honestly, Travion Henderson. is a steal on both sides.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah I'm still not buying it.
Sully Shaheed: Still not buying it, man. I mean, I'm going to play the living piss out of Trey McBride. That's just going to happen. But again, if you want to flip the bill and get upside down with it with golf stacks, Laporta, again, I know he's going to have some ownership, but. still uh solid price and production but i mean We're talking.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah. We're talking our client, Brock. Bowers is on this slate as well. Like.
Chilly: so he is and he's going and he has no ownership the only worry here is that the patriots have done are like the best team in the league at defending tight ends
Sully Shaheed: Mm hmm.
Chilly: Especially at a dual tight end set. That would be my only concern. And as you stated on the show many times, if you play like you could double tight end the slate.
Sully Shaheed: You can. Oh yeah.
Chilly: I mean... We do have a tight end in the revenge game.
Sully Shaheed: Uh... Wait. Wait. Give me a second. Give me a second.
Chilly: His team is currently missing their two best wide receivers.
Sully Shaheed: Do we have the Mike Gasicki revenge game?
Chilly: I mean, honestly, we have seen like when one of these wide receivers are down. The rock kind of goes to Kosicki.
Sully Shaheed: You're not wrong.
Chilly: Like... honestly, if If you turn over the cards and you just double tight end Gesicki and McBride. I'm not feeling against the Dolphins.
Chilly: After what TJ Hawkinson just did? Right.
Sully Shaheed: TJ Hawkinson did kind of light him up, didn't he?
Chilly: He cooked them. HE - Cooked them?
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, he would have broke the slate literally if he didn't slide down at the one -yard line.
Chilly: Yeah, and again here, I know we've stated it before. But... As, as, uh... as an audience as a viewer listener however you're enjoying our uh flow of information here.
Chilly: We used to just say. Whatever tight end is playing the Bengals. You're gonna play that guy in your lineup
Sully Shaheed: We did say that.
Chilly: As bad as Cincinnati was. They are not on the level of bad of how bad Detroit is. Against tight ends. And wait, listen, Cincinnati, by the way, still bad.
Chilly: Daryl.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah.
Chilly: You know, they are allowing like over expectation, like. It's like nine points. Detroit is at like 14. It's insane how bad the Lions are.
Chilly: I again here, man, if. Trey McBride would put you to sleep. I can see a way that Gibbs and stuff maybe doesn't get there. Yeah, man.
Sully Shaheed: Trey McBride gonna get there.
Chilly: I'm trying to imagine.
Sully Shaheed: Especially after his bullshit with the refs last week.
Chilly: Yeah. he's right
Sully Shaheed: That boy is going to be out to prove a point. Okay, listen. Forget everything we said. Forget everything we said. Play Trey McBride.
Chilly: Yeah.
Sully Shaheed: That's it. No other consideration unless you're going double tight end, then. Trey McBride in your flex. I'm good with that. But just make sure in a lineup, get some Trey McBride in your life. Do that.
Chilly: Yeah, you absolutely should just be playing Trey McBride.
Sully Shaheed: Let's just do that. Flex or tight end, I don't care. play. Let's play Trey McBride.
Chilly: Yep. play you play trade mcbride other than that i really do like giziki this week as well Again, on On FanDuel, he's only $5 ,200, which is pretty cheap.
Chilly: uh taking a look here at some of these other guys you mentioned uh laporta uh Tyler Warren is back on the main slate. We did see Harold Fannin Jr. catch a touchdown last week.
Sully Shaheed: Mm hmm.
Chilly: You mentioned our client. and things like that. kind of going forward Uh,
Sully Shaheed: Wars.
Chilly: Yeah, I mean
Sully Shaheed: He's just so good.
Chilly: I mean, also, I will mention that the Commanders are awfully crappy against tight ends as well.
Sully Shaheed: God.
Chilly: So I think Isaiah likely. is also worth some consideration. But yeah, like... Like, his value is so, I mean. Trey McBride's values is so far ahead.
Chilly: Uh,
Sully Shaheed: Hmm.
Chilly: Man. Ew. If you fade them, I'm praying for you and your family.
Sully Shaheed: Right, yeah, good luck. Good luck. just just just No, just play Trey McBride. Just. Let's move on to defense. Let's just play Trey McBride, okay?
Chilly: Yep.
Sully Shaheed: Let's just agree That. He's probably pound for pound the best player on the slate. Let's just agree.
Sully Shaheed: You good with that?
Chilly: Yeah.
Sully Shaheed: All right, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool.
Chilly: Yeah.
Sully Shaheed: are in pretty good spots. I did see a couple. That I wanted to target. Oh, I do. I do like Vegas against the schedule. You know, it didn't work out last week with Buffalo, but I still like that FanDuel, the 3700.
Sully Shaheed: I do like where that's coming from.
Chilly: Ear.
Chilly: you're Your chalkiest defense on FanDuel right now is the Commanders. And it's not even close.
Sully Shaheed: Whitney. Which makes sense. $3 ,300?
Chilly: Yeah.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah. That makes sense.
Chilly: Yeah. Yeah, going up against Jameis. uh
Sully Shaheed: Yeah. I think I'm okay with eating that. 3 ,300 is pretty cheap.
Chilly: Yeah, especially... yeah especially if you're trying to jam everything in you may have to
Sully Shaheed: Yeah.
Sully Shaheed: I think I'm good with that.
Chilly: Yeah. In terms of value. Let me see, I don't even know What do they cost? Yeah. I wouldn't pay for them. I wouldn't pay for them on. I wouldn't pay for him on FanDuel because, absolutely, I'm not paying $5K for Houston.
Chilly: But for $3 ,400 on DraftKings, I probably would.
Sully Shaheed: No.
Chilly: Especially, again, it is Cam Ward. This is like the... if houston doesn't win this game their season is done
Sully Shaheed: Oh, 100%.
Chilly: I think. So. Other defenses, you have the Jets defense against the Browns. You could say the Browns defense against the Jets.
Chilly: depending on how you want to look at that.
Sully Shaheed: That game is going to suck. So bad.
Chilly: Yeah. Right. Not... Again, dirt. super expensive on. They're super expensive, actually, on both sites, but like Bengals defense against Miami.
Chilly: Again, any team. against Miami. Only because... Only because he literally had no room to breathe last week against the Falcons. I think if you want to play the Vikings defense. Just on pure volume of four, Tyler Shuck is going to be running for his life.
Chilly: I'm not going to hit on that either. If you're going to punt on DraftKings. If you want to play Tennessee's defense at 2 ,100, I think it's fine.
Sully Shaheed: 2 ,100.
Chilly: I just... I - I - Honestly,
Sully Shaheed: Like it.
Chilly: Honestly, I'm gonna be real with you. If you just wanted to play the Dolphins who are at 2K. Just to fit everything in and they just get you four points, you're fine.
Sully Shaheed: Oh yeah! Yeah, that's the funny thing about defense.
Chilly: Right.
Sully Shaheed: Like as long as a defense doesn't completely shatter the slate with like a 25 burger. Play whoever, man. Punt that shit off.
Chilly: Yeah, so like... Honestly, I wouldn't. If somebody told me like, hey. I played that. i'd be like oh you know what honestly good for you it's probably it was probably smart Yeah, other than that just play what fits Yeah, that's... That's... That's kind of a lot to say about defense, personally.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, absolutely. Listen, if you made it to this point of the podcast, make sure to leave that like and subscribe. It's a real quick way to show that you appreciate the things that we do here on the DFS Deli. Obviously, you know, the views and likes are greatly appreciated and it gets it out to more people so they can view the DFS Deli and watch the talking heads. Talk about random fantasy football stuff. So.
Sully Shaheed: Without Baker, it's hard to make the... The four -input parlay. So, Chili, what do you want to do for this hot 10? You want to do a four piece hot 10 or do you want to do three a piece and still keep it as a six?
Chilly: I think off air, I think we should build a single game parlay just out of the Cardinals -Lions game. I don't know how many times.
Sully Shaheed: Let's do it.
Chilly: i don't know how many touchdowns but i highly advise to anybody out here in the ether build a single game parlay just out of the lions cardinals like if you're like if you're gonna be that person that's like you know what i'm gonna fade it in dfs but i'm gonna go make an eight -leg parlay That way you're still in the win.
Chilly: That's cool. I mean, you and I, we could build a regular parlay here. I still got some picks that I do like out here. So if you want to...
Sully Shaheed: I like the hedge. I like your hedge approach. I like that. So yeah, tournaments, if you think that this game is gonna bust, build your lineups accordingly.
Chilly: Right.
Sully Shaheed: However, make sure you take some money. and put it on that game to get some money back just in case it goes ballistic. So I like that, that's.
Chilly: Yeah.
Sully Shaheed: You're a smart man, Joe.
Chilly: Amen.
Sully Shaheed: You're a smart man.
Chilly: I mean, I'm just saying, man, like, if you...
Sully Shaheed: You're a smart man. I like that. But yeah, what do you want to do, a six -legger? for the hot 10. Or you want to do a four -legger?
Chilly: Yeah. Oh, we can do three apiece, right?
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, of course. We're smart guys.
Chilly: Are we including anybody from the game?
Sully Shaheed: Yes, we can include someone from the game.
Chilly: From the game, okay
Sully Shaheed: You have the option of including someone from.
Chilly: All right. Alright.
Sully Shaheed: the game.
Chilly: So my... My first leg of the parlay here, and I'll pass it on to you. I'm going to start with some Chase Brown. of the Cincinnati Bengals.
Sully Shaheed: All right, we're going to put Chase on the case.
Sully Shaheed: I'm going to put Chase Brown on the case. I will stick with the running back position. Cuz I like your ebb and flow, I like the way this is going. Just go ahead and throw in DeAndre Swift in that.
Sully Shaheed: Just go ahead and throw in DeAndre Swift in that.
Sully Shaheed: See what this hot tin can bring us and the listeners and viewers.
Chilly: All right.
Sully Shaheed: Let's see what we got.
Chilly: Yeah.
Sully Shaheed: Second pick, what you got?
Chilly: Yeah. Yeah, let me take a look at I'm gonna take a look at wide receiver here
Sully Shaheed: We want to get some spice out of our receiver. We're going to go to our receiver.
Chilly: Yeah, you know what? This is going to be controversial. I would like to take some... some waddle here
Sully Shaheed: All right. All right. I like waddle. I like waddle. I will counter, not counter, but I will stick with the receiver pick in this one, and I will go Jamo. I will go Jamison Williams.
Sully Shaheed: From the game.
Chilly: All right. Well. Well, since I am going to take a pick from the game here, let's not fuck around. Trey McBride.
Sully Shaheed: Yep. Yep, let's not goof around.
Chilly: Yeah.
Sully Shaheed: Yep.
Sully Shaheed: And I will also take a tight end. And I'm going to follow suit. In your narrative of revenge. I'm going to take Mike Gasicki.
Chilly: think this parlay is going to be spicy.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah. I like this. I like the way this shapes up. You, the listeners. Make sure you take your hot tin. Throw it on this six -legger with Chase Brown. Oh, we got two bangles in there. But we got Chase Brown, D Swift.
Sully Shaheed: Jalen Waddle, J -Mo. Trey McBrizzle. And of course. Mike Gasicki. Chill, what's your hot take for this week? What's hot?
Chilly: Hot take. Oh, my God.
Chilly: Hot take, man. I'm trying Uh, As of...
Sully Shaheed: This is the Diavez Deli. It has to be hot.
Chilly: It is. It does have to be hot. So there is going to be... Right now, I'm just trying to think. You know what?
Chilly: We get. Once again, we will get MVP. form. drake may this week. I think...
Chilly: I didn't drink May. It goes for a nice round number. I think he's going to put up about, let's see.
Chilly: Give me Drake May for 25. fantasy points.
Chilly: You are a museum.
Sully Shaheed: I like that. I like the heat that you bring with Drake May.
Chilly: Yeah.
Sully Shaheed: I'm going to follow suit with the chalk and lean into it. I'm not just going to lean into it. I'm going to push myself. For us. my way into it. I think the 54 and a half total of this game, the game is two.
Sully Shaheed: Low.
Chilly: Okay, I was thinking the same thing.
Sully Shaheed: I think this game goes on. I think this game goes over 60. Four points. combined.
Chilly: Is this a rare case where both teams may put over 40?
Sully Shaheed: It could be. It could be. It could be, I'm going plus, I'm going plus. 64. On the game total.
Sully Shaheed: Just like the Nintendo. I'm gonna put I'm just gonna put the game here.
Chilly: That's the game.
Sully Shaheed: The game. The game of the week. So any closing thoughts before we go ahead and shut down the shop?
Chilly: uh if you are one of those people that is crazy enough to fade the game uh Godspeed. Your lineup will be automatically different.
Chilly: I think as here as a whole between Sully and I, it pretty much seems like Trey McBride might be breaking the slate on Sunday. So good luck.
Chilly: Yeah, man. Don't overthink the slate. If you're somebody who hates to play chalk.
Sully Shaheed: This ain't a slate for you.
Chilly: this ain't the slate for you buddy
Sully Shaheed: it's just not
Chilly: These might...
Sully Shaheed: This week we're going to have to embrace it. We're just going to have to. Sorry.
Chilly: listen i'm going to put some of the most chalkiest lineups i've ever built into the sims and the computer and the computer is going to think i'm a genius all right so
Sully Shaheed: Ever.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah.
Chilly: So...
Sully Shaheed: That's facts. That's facts. Yeah, like Chill said, he brought up a great point. You know, if you want to fade the game on Sunday, just make sure you hedge it. Go ahead and throw in some bets. on the game if you're not gonna use them in your DFS lineups even though it's DFS show. But...
Sully Shaheed: just be careful treading uh when you're getting different in some of the lineups there is such thing as good chalk there's such thing as bad chalk just make sure you know the difference between the two And, yeah, it's been a great time chatting with you guys on a Wednesday night here in Cleveland. Guardians still alive, so shout out to our Cleveland guys. Still got one more game at least. And, yeah, I think that's going to do it for tonight's episode of the DFS Deli. I've been, of course, your host, Sully Ali Shahid. for baker who has again ghosted me like all my hinge dates
Sully Shaheed: This has been great and we'll see you. on the next one, hopefully Saturday. Good luck on those lineups. And we'll see you soon. Peace.
